In the spirit of Cosmic X's "mystery object" posts, especially as he is on a blogging break until after Pesah...

What do you suppose this is?

Um,...yeah.

The image name is pouch.jpg, so anyone could've figured that one out, even if someone didn't think it was obvious.

"Let an object be defined by its function."

What's it for {specifically}?

Its for carrying a concealed weapon.

Preferably a Glock 9mm semi automatic.

Nope.

Crazy as it sounds, the only "weapons" I own are common items found in the kitchen or tool box.

I see on the fanny pack "su sin" so I would say that su means Japanese rice vinegar. http://www.answers.com/topic/su-culinary. Sin means transgression so maybe all together its rice vinegar that was used for idol worship.

to continue your train of thought, honorable, maybe it is rice that is being eaten on pesach by an ashkenazy eating kitniyot....

:-)

Yeah!!!!

triCat wins!!

It's my Tefillin bag. I have one of those waterproof cylindrical ones for camping, but it's too bulky. So I just use this.

For those who don't know, these bags were (are they still?) popular in Tel Aviv, slung over the shoulder.

Honorable,
I was wondering if anyone would pick up on the lettering. It's just that the paint of some of the letters have rubbed off.

Rafi,
Hardy har har.
The truth is that they are only a few families where I have eaten where they eat qitniyoth. I've only had rice a few times. Afterall, you still have to check it.
