You can watch it here: http://thetorahrevolution.blogspot.co.il/2015/01/bh-rabbi-mizrachi-on-connection-between.html. Unexpectedly, I recieved the following comment: "Rabbi Mizrachi has obviously never seen the Midrash. The Prophet Ezekiel, in one of his prophecies of our return to our Land, quotes God's words: "The House of Israel dwell on their Land - and they have defiled it with their ways and with their bad deeds" (Ezekiel 36:17). The Midrash expounds: "God says: If only the sons of My nation would be in the Land of Israel, even thugh they defile it!" (Yalkut Shimoni, Lamentations 1038)". Now, I don't have immediate access to the Midrash, but I checked out the prophecies bought down and it is clear that there is nothing there to justify such a sharp criticism, quite the opposite, the prophets Jeremiah and Ezekiel are mad at the Children of Israel because of their grave sins. So to cut a long story short, it is extremely disheartening to see otherwise learned and knowledgable people sooo wrong. In fact I don't understand this.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
