Israel's Northern Border: What the Hell is Going On?

ט׳ לחודש האחד עשר תשע״ה

Does anyone have a clue as to what's going on, on Israel's northern border? Because I sure as hell do not.

(*If you are a news junkie, then you can check out Yeranen Ya'akov's collection of related links.)
PM Netanyahu
At least 7 wounded, including soldiers, from Hezbollah fire in north

Netanyahu: Those behind deadly border attack will pay the price
01.28.15, 20:24: PM says 'IDF is prepared to act strongly on all fronts'; defense minister says 'we will respond forcefully and with determination'. (YNET)
And now, what is the prime minister doing? Nothing.

The following report appears to cover all of the bases. Still, something (I don't know what) seems to be missing...
For both Israel and Hezbollah, calm works for now (YNET)
01.29.15, 00:56: Analysis by Ron Ben-Yishai: Hezbollah is not in a position to carry out a massive revenge attack for the killing of its senior officials on the Golan last week, and in Israel, political considerations take center stage.

Hezbollah is clearly signaling a message that it sees its score with Israel has been settled. The ambush Wednesday morning that killed an IDF fighter and an officer and wounded seven soldiers is, by all indications, retaliation – and a suitable response in its view – for the killing of its senior officials and an Iranian general (Jihad Mughniyeh) last Sunday on the Golan Heights.

Hezbollah is worried that Israel would respond with force the attack on its soldiers, destroy its vast missile system and impair the organization's ability to act as a strategic long arm for Iran. The Iranians have warned Nasrallah that this cannot happen.

Therefore, the Hezbollah chief has been issuing conciliatory messages via every possible channel. And now, the ball is in the Israeli court. Prime Minister Netanyahu, Defense Minister Ya'alon, the chief of staff and his deputy are actually the ones who decide what happens next. They face a difficult dilemma: If they deal a major blow to Hezbollah in Lebanon, the result would probably be a total conflagration, probably the Third Lebanon War. (cont.)
Ben-Yishai goes onto cover the political implications...
If the present government decides on a harsh response that would trigger a major escalation, it would almost immediately be accused of dragging Israel into a political war designed to serve the ends of Netanyahu, Avigdor Lieberman and Naftali Bennett.
Maybe I am just a jaded, ol' veteran immigrant, but I have long ceased giving government officials the benefit of the doubt. Netanyahu's potential exploitation of this conflict came to mind almost immediately, especially with the upcoming, March 17th elections.

In fact, I pretty much assumed that if this was not some kind of ploy, then it must have been implemented in order to distract the public, and divert its attention away from something else, something he did not want us to notice.

This is an all too common tactic employed in the U. S.

Of course, Prime Minister Netanyahu already provided his spin on the situation, fairly early on in the border conflict...
Israeli officials blame Iran for northern border attack
01.28.15, 15:30: Netanyahu on Lebanon attack: I suggest those trying to challenge us in the North look at Gaza. (JPost)

Sources in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s bureau blamed Iran for Wednesday’s attack on the northern border.

“Iran is behind this heinous terrorist attack. The same Iran which the world powers are forming an agreement with, that would allow it to maintain its ability to acquire nuclear weapons capacity,” the sources said.

This is the same Iran that tried to build a terrorist infrastructure in the Golan Heights, similar to what it has in Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, Iraq and Yemen, the sources said.

This is the same Iran that supports terrorism around the globe, the sources said.

“We must not give such terrorism a nuclear umbrella. We must not let the most dangerous regime in the world to arm itself with the most dangerous weapons in the world,” the sources said. (cont.)
Blah, blah, blah...

Unsurprising, and completely lacking in creativity. It's just too boring to be a political ploy. Were these words really designed to garner sympathy from the West? That same ol' tactic which has never worked?

Votes for the upcoming elections? Good luck!

And what was that part about Gaza? A joke? Hamas forces are rearming and doing push-ups, as I write. Israel never finishes the job, and the Arabs know this all too well.
Israeli UN Ambassador Not Invited to Discussion on Attack
1/29/2015, 9:10 AM: The Security Council conducted a discussion of the attack on IDF troops in which a Spanish peacekeeper was killed as well. (Arutz 7)
No surprise here. Nor is it any surprise that the Spanish Ambassador blames Israel.
"It is clear that this was because of the escalation of the violence and it came from the Israeli side"
So, if known terrorists, seeking the destruction of all Spanish people, were roaming along the borders of Spain, doing reconnaissance, you would just let them? Yeah, right!

A few hours after this, maybe the prime minister is doing something after all, or thinking about it.
Report: IAF conducting flights over Sidon in Lebanon
01.29.15, 12:37: Lebanese media reported on Thursday that the IAF was conducting flights over Sidon - Lebanon's 3rd largest city. The media outlets reported that Israeli warplanes and drones were conducted flights over the area. (Elior Levy, YNET)

As you can see, Sidon is pretty far north of the border. What the hell were they doing up there??

Incidentally, according to most opinions, the borders of the tribal territories of Asher and Naftali (ie. Eretz Yisra'el) run at least to the Litani River. However, I will not hold my breath for a possible reconquest. We suffered enough disappointment in 2006/תשס״ו.

But, I digress...

Meanwhile, in Washington, DC, the back and forth continues over Speaker of House John Boehner's invitation to Prime minister Netanyahu to address Congress. The White House feels snubbed (Boo-Hoo!), and both Boehner and Netanyahu play dumb, feigning ignorance of what problem U. S. President Obama could possible

Personally, I believe that Boehner is just using Netanyahu to drum up some publicity, to mend some of the bridges burned between himself and the generally pro-Israel, conservative Republicans who tried to oust him from his position as Speaker. I am sure that Boehner is also quite happy to exploit this opportunity to respond to Obama's overstepping of his authority and slighting of the Legislative Branch more times than can be counted, sending the message that "two can play at that game."

Pres. Obama
But, of course, Netanyahu is allowing himself to used. It takes two to tango.

President Obama is certainly no fan of Netanyahu. Rumors having been flying, that is, if he doesn't get us all killed in some nuclear holocaust because of his idiotic strategies of "diplomacy" toward Iran. No, not naivete, idiocy. There is no way that this president is calling the shots, even in his own country. No way.

Confused? Good. So, am I.

The only thing I am sure about, is that The Holy One, Blessed Be He, is on our side, and watching out for us.

Israel Breaking @IsraelBreaking

Prayer teffilin found fully intact inside IDF patrol car totally destroyed in yesterdays Hezbollah attack.

This is not the first story I have heard of tefillin surviving an attack unscathed.

Unfortunately, if we do not acknowledge that He is on our side, and start doing our part, we may have to incur some proverbial kicks in the pants, until we have His full and undivided attention.

Heaven help us.

Marit Danon's Clever Op-Ed

ז' לחודש האחד עשר תשע"ה

Marit Danon was the head secretary in the prime minister's office for 13 years, serving under Prime Ministers Yitzhaq Shamir, Yitzhaq Rabin, Shimon Peres, Ehud Baraq, and Ariel Sharon. She also wrote the following opinion piece.
YNET: France is no longer a home for JewsOp-ed: Like in Poland 70 years ago, one should not walk around with a Star of David, be seen entering a synagogue or Jewish school, speak Hebrew out loud on the metro or shop in a kosher food store.
Marit Danon, January 27, 2015
There was one picture from Paris which hit me more than anything: The one showing a young mother breastfeeding her infant son and protecting him from the freezing cold of the walk-in freezer in which some of the survivors of the Hyper Cacher supermarket were hiding.
That young mother, in my eyes, is the image of Smadar Haran, who in April 1979 hid with her two-year-old daughter Yael when a terrorist cell of the Palestine Liberation Front broke into her apartment. Her husband Danny and her eldest daughter Einat were shot in cold blood on the Nahariya beach. Little Yael didn't survive.
The young mother hiding in the Hyper Cacher freezer is also the image of my maternal grandparents, who in the seventh decade of their lives found a few days of grace in a hiding room built especially for that purpose. Gestapo soldiers marched on the streets of their hometown in Poland, and Jews were being sent to concentration camps. Long days behind a sealed wall, with no daylight, no elementary services – their only crime being their Jewishness. The hiding room only helped them for a few months. They didn't survive.

The young mother in Paris is also the image of my parents, who were forced to change their identity during the Nazi occupation of Poland, adopt a Christian Polish name and Aryan certificates and escape into the lion's mouth, into Nazi Germany. Three years of daily fear, of hiding, of denying their Jewishness – in order to live. Paris, Nahariya, Poland. Decades separate between these events, and one thread connects them: Our Jewishness, our Israeliness, and of course the hatred which knows no bounds.
Some of the survivors in my family found refuge in post-war Paris. France was the comfort after the years of hardship and persecution, and served for years as a cure for their soul. It was kind to them and gave them the power to collect the pieces of their life and build a new life. The hidden mental scars only seldom appeared, and were almost unnoticeable.
Today's France, unfortunately, is no longer a home. Like in Poland 70 years ago, walking around with a Star of David on one's neck is not so safe anymore, it's better not to be seen at the entrance to a synagogue or Jewish school, and one should not speak Hebrew out loud on the metro or shop in a kosher food store.
Unfortunately?
It seems to almost all of us that the best solution is immigrating to Israel – the home of the Jewish people, their stronghold, their shelter. It's so good that the state exists, because we no longer depend on other people's grace.
But the State of Israel is not the only answer for dealing with terror – a mass escape of Jews from their homelands is to some extent a surrender to terror and removal of the responsibility of the states in which terror is raising its ugly head.
Cleverly put, but this is the fundamental error of Danon's piece. What she misses is that Israel is a Jew's only, true homeland. This is not about runing away, quitting, or letting the Jew-hating terrorists and foreign governments "win."

This is about where the proper place is for us Jews to invest our time, energy, and money, not to mention our blood, sweat, and tears.

It is reprehensible that Danon puts Nahariya in the same sentence, let alone the same context, with Poland and France. The Almighty promised us the territory in which Nahariya is located, the tribal territory of Asher, and in 1948/תש"ח He fulfilled that promised. He did not promise us Poland, and He did not give us France.

My guess, though, is that God and His Torah are the furthest things from her mind. If I am wrong, well then, she did a fantastic job fooling me, because there isn't anything in the least bit connected to the proper path of the Jewish People in this article except for the title: France is no longer a home for Jews.

Actually, not even the title is accurate, as France was only a temporary dwelling place for Jews, just like Egypt, and, for that matter, just like the U. S., and every place else outside of Israel. These lands were never meant to be a permanent home.

Danon concludes with...
Every person, including every Jew, has the right to have the freedom to choose the place he wants to live in. As a citizen with equal rights in his country, he is entitled to security, a life without fear, the possibility of leading a religious and cultural life according to his tradition – and it is his state's duty to guarantee that.
Perhaps theoretically. How "pro-democratic" of her. After all, we do have the choice to choose the path The Almighty has chosen for us, or to forsake it. Of course, Danon completely misses this point, and by her statements, is a collaborator in keeping our fellow Jews in galuth.

MK Yoni Chetboun, What Happened?

Arutz 7: Otzma Yehudit Reveals Why Yishai Joint List Talks Failed
Ben-Ari's party and Ha'am Itanu discussed joint list to avoid 'lost right-wing votes' - but a Yishai associate allegedly 'torpedoed' it.

Shimon Cohen, Ari Yashar, January 26, 2015

Former MK Dr. Michael Ben-Ari's Otzma Yehudit party and MK Eli Yishai's Yachad - Ha'am Itanu were in last minute talks Sunday night to form a joint list and ensure both parties don't miss out in the coming elections, but apparently those talks have fallen through, and Otzma Yehudit says a person close to Yishai is responsible.

According to a source in Otzma Yehudit, both parties generally agreed on all the major issues that would allow them to run as a technical bloc for the elections and afterwards split while keeping their seats, with Yishai likely joining a Likud-led coalition and Ben-Ari being in the Opposition.

"However, during the negotiations a representative from Yishai's Ha'am Itanu party surprised us and claimed the first four spots are already 'flooded' with knitted kippot (national religious Jews as opposed to haredim - ed.), and there's no room for another knitted kippah in the first four," revealed the source.

A point of friction in the last minute talks was that Ben-Ari requested the fourth and sixth spots on the list, as opposed to just the sixth spot, given that polls have shown without his party Yishai will not make it past the threshold for entering the Knesset, whereas the combined list would get a comfortable seven mandates.

"We were very surprised by the allegations of these words that show a lack of understanding in terms of politics and simple mathematics," added the Otzma Yehudit representative, noting the polls showing Yishai's poor chances running alone.

Given the refusal to give greater representation to Otzma Yehudit above the sixth spot, the party has said it cannot join in a technical bloc, and accuses an unnamed MK connected to Yishai's list, other than Yishai himself, as being responsible for the situation.

According to the Otzma Yehudit source, "we were surprised that instead of showing responsibility, this MK ran from place to place, leaked inaccurate leaks, and tried to torpedo the negotiations by force."

The unnamed MK allegedly said that another point of contention between the parties centered on Otzma Yehudit's insistence that Jewish access to the Temple Mount be a plank in the party's platform, but the Otzma Yehudit source says there is no disagreement on this subject, since Yishai's mentor, Rabbi Meir Mazuz, has already come out in support of ascent to the Temple Mount. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
MK Eli Yishai
"However, during the negotiations a representative from Yishai's Ha'am Itanu party surprised us and claimed the first four spots are already 'flooded' with knitted kippot (national religious Jews as opposed to haredim - ed.), and there's no room for another knitted kippah in the first four," revealed the source.

This is truly one of the silliest thing I have ever heard regarding an election. Unfortunately, and this should be no secret, there is plenty of resistance among mamlakhtim (diehard State loyalists) to any unity with Haredim. The mamlakhtim seemed to be more concerned with what they have in common in regading to their relationship with the State, than with Torah. The so-called Jewish Home Party is a good example of this, open to non-religious candidates, and perhaps even non-Jewish candidates, but to Haredim? And so, there may actually be something practical to what was stated here. Unfortunate, but perhaps practical.
"...MK Yoni Chetboun, who left Jewish Home to join Ha'am Itanu (and is the only MK beside Yishai on the list..."
Looks pretty suspicious to me.

I have written positively about MK Yoni Chetboun (Yachad - Ha'am Itanu), which is rare for me, especially concerning one who has still not completely climbed out of the mamlakhti box.

So, I am more than a little disappointed in Chetboun, if the above report is an accurate one. Sure, I support more "Haredim" on the list. But, you want to be practical, right?
MK Yoni Chetboun
"We won't be dragged to the level of this goading discussion," said Chetboun disparagingly. "We have responsibility towards the nationalist camp and therefore to save the lost votes, we offered him (Ben-Ari) a reserved sixth spot."
Glossing over the danger that Yishai's independent run will also result in "lost votes", Chetboun continued: "it's a shame he is refusing, insisting time and again to lose votes for the right. Right-wing voters should know and internalize that Ben-Ari's independent run is liable to bring a leftist government of Tzipi (Livni) - Buji (Yitzhak Herzog)."
Ben-Ari will bring many votes that those with crocheted kippoth, you already have on your list. If you do not know this, then you are out of touch with the very people you think are going to vote for you, and you really don't have any being in the K'nesseth.

Yes, the people are coming around, waking up to the severe differences between Torah and State loyalty, and are demonstrating their preference for Torah.
Micha'el Ben-Ari
Regarding the issue of "lost votes," Otzma Yehudit has argued in the past that their ideologically-concerned voters will not have a party to vote for if they do not run, which would mean "lost votes" in any case, and that many religious Zionist voters disappointed with Jewish Home would also not vote at all without them as an alternative.

If the polls are any indication of what the K'nesseth makeup will be like, then the next one will not include either Micha'el Ben-Ari, Eli Yishai, or Yoni Chetboun.

Time to get it together.

Israeli Irony from MK Moshe Feiglin

ז׳ לחודש האחד עשר תשע״ה

From MK Moshe Feiglin:

אינני יודע מי כתב את הטקסט הזה, שהתגלגל אלי בדרך לא דרך. גם לא טרחתי לבדוק את מהימנותו - כי זה לא באמת משנה. קראו ותבינו:

Esser Agaroth (2¢) Translation:
"I don't know who wrote this text, which made its way to me in some round about way. I also did not bother to check its reliability - because in reality it doesn't matter. Read and you'll understand:"

The Model of Israeli Irony:

The Jewish Home Party submitted a petition to the Chair of the Elections Committee against the name of "The Zionist Camp" claiming that "they are not really Zionists."

In response, The Zionist Camp submitted a petition  to the Chair of the Elections Committee against the name of "The Jewish Home" claiming that "they are not really Jews."

So the beloved judge who sits as the Chair of the Elections Committee will be forced to rule on and to determine who is a real Zionist, and who is a real Jew.

And what is the name of the beloved judge?

Salim Jobran.

Even "Eretz Nehederet"* could not have written a better skit than this.
*"Wonderful Land" - an Israeli television comedy show of parody and satire.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Ironic, yes. But, also very sad.

This is how low we have sunk, in the name of "being just like everyone else."

Multicultural, politically-correct, pluralistic. And we are proud of this?

The truth is that not only is the "Zionist Camp" not really Zionist, and the "Jewish Home" is not really Jewish, but when you think about it, is the State of Israel either Zionist or Jewish?

The Dilemma of France's Liberal Jews Isn't Really a Dilemma

ו׳ לחודש האחד עשר תשע״ה

YNET: The dilemma of France's liberal Jews
Analysis: Paris terror attacks worsen the situation of secular French Jews, many of whom still believe in the Republic's universal values and feel that France, rather than Israel, is their national home.

Yossi Shain, January 15, 2015

A large part of the French Jewry has been going through accelerated "Israelization" processes for years: In its language, in its culture and religiousness, at home and in the communities.

They visit Israel on a regular basis, are involved in Israeli politics, enjoy Israeli music and films and even read Israeli literature, which has become a big hit among French publishers. The Israelization is particularly evident in the synagogues.

This process increased the pool of potential immigrants, mainly of traditional Jews, mostly of Moroccan descent. The soaring anti-Semitism among Arabs and the left, and of course the Islamic terror, accelerated these processes.

About 7,000 Jews immigrated this year, three times more than in 2012. The massacre at the kosher supermarket in Paris will likely bring thousands more, and tens of thousands will continue to nurture a "Boeing aliyah" lifestyle – with one foot in Paris or Marseilles and the other in Ashdod, Netanya or Jerusalem.

The French-Republican dream faded away for many Jews not just because of the growing Arab-Islamic presence accompanied by violent anti-Semitism, but also because Israel has turned into a source of attraction and influence for the Jewish world.

Israel is today the center of Jewish existence in Paris and in the entire world. Its big shadow attracts Jews to immigrate, and even its critics among the Jews, like Prof. Dominique Moïsi, need Israel as a source of their identity and tribal belonging.

The more secular French Jews are caught in a big trap. Many of them still believe in the Republic's universal values, including the secularism doctrine. They feel that France, rather than Israel, is their national home.

They include members of "progressive Judaism" communities like the Reforms and Conservatives in the United States. For example, the 15th arrondissement community led by young female Rabbi Dolphin Horvilleur.

Horvilleur studied medicine at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and was ordained as a rabbi in the US. She speaks fluent Hebrew and is trying to advance the French multiculturalism vision with a focus on interfaith dialogue. The guest of honor at Horvilleur's synagogue last Yom Kippur was Imam Hassen Chalghoumi, who is attacked by radical Islamists.

The recent terror attacks worsen the situation of liberal Jews like Horvilleur. Some of them will become more Zionist, perhaps beyond their original plan, while others will drift away or look for immigration options in North America and Australia.

Meetings with liberal Jews in France are always accompanied by a sense of embarrassment over the Republic's future. The older people yearn for the golden era in the France-Israel relations in the 1960s, while the young people stress the economic possibilities created by globalization and a transnational Europe.

"There is no longer a Jewish issue in France," says Dominique Schnapper. "There is only a French issue."

Schnapper, a devout Republican, served until recently as a member of the Constitutional Council of France. She is also known as the daughter of famous Jewish intellectual Raymond Aron.

Schnapper is the chairman of the board of the French museum of Jewish art and history, but does not see herself as part of the Jewish community. Some of her grandchildren are Catholic.

But Schnapper belongs to a generation which is becoming extinct. When she talks about the "French issue," she is referring to the growing gap between France's official commitment to a universal citizenship and secular culture, and a tough reality of growing Middle Eastern ethnicity and burdensome Muslim religiousness.

Schnapper is against the strengthening Israelization among France's Jews, stressing that the "new anti-Semitism" only comes "from the bottom," while official France works tirelessly to protect the Jews and even encourages cultural Jewish prosperity.

The French prime minister's statement that "if the Jews leave, France will lose its identity" is definitely authentic. But even the liberal Jews admit that the fear of sending their children to governmental schools is taking over their lives. It's possible that the liberal French Jewry has reached the twilight stage.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
I do not understand the dilemma of France's liberal Jews.

The only dilemma I can see here, is that the desire to do whatever they want, instead what The Almighty wants, is strong enough to put them in physical danger. The proper spiritual direction of the Jewish People is the farthest thing from their minds.

The French Jewish community appears to be getting a proverbial kick in the pants, and will hopefully receive the message to leave France, and connect even more with their own people, land, and heritage.

But, there are still some stubborn, Republican diehards who refuse to see and to accept their true paths as part of the Jewish People, and thus, not part of the French people. They are lost. I am afraid that I simply do not see how they will be able to find their way out of the fog of galuth (exile).

Much worse, though, Jews like Horvilleur are not only not helping, they are causing a great deal of harm to those in their communities who look to them for guidance.

The "guest of honor" at Horvilleur's synagogue was a goy (non-Jew) Need I say more? No, I do not, but I will anyway.

The prevailing mentality in such communities is one of galuth and assimilation. The need to fit in and be accepted by the goyim, takes precedence on their list of priorities over that of standing as a people, separate and distinct, let alone even attempting to fulfill the Will of The Almighty.

The cosmetically Jewish "leaders" have a field day, picking and choosing from the Torah, and then distorting it to their own aims, fooling themselves and their followers into believing that they are fulfilling the Will of The Almighty.

Unfortunately, this not only includes diverting Jews from our collective spiritual path, but also putting them in grave, physical danger.

As the author points out, "some will drift away or look for immigration options in North America and Australia." However, if the Jew-hatred in France is any indication of to expect next in North America and Australia, as I expect that it will, this is only a temporary solution, decided based a deep denial of the reality around them, as well as a deep denial of their spiritual roles in This World.

Such denial is not only validated, but encouraged by the so-called "post-Zionists," who believe that there is no longer a need for a special, physical place to serve even as a safe haven for Jews.

Being encouraged to fight or to hide ones identity with a gimmick is only a temporary solution for survival within France and elsewhere in exile.

"Progressive Jewish" are no better by encouraging Jews to identify with their fellow Frenchmen, including both Yishma'elim and Edomim (non-Jews), instead of encouraging them to embrace their own separate and distinct, nature and status, as dictated by the Torah.

According to the the Kol HaTor, the joining together of Yishma'el (Arabs/Muslims) and Edom (The West) is the role of one segment of the Erev Rav, descendants of the "mixed-multitude," the false converts who came out Egypt with us, and have caused us trouble from within ever since.

Of course, those like Horvilleur are more likely than not, only pawns of the powers that be, who are the real culprits in keeping the Jewish People down, and in a state of increasing risk of annihilation.
...וּבָחַרְתָּ, בַּחַיִּים--לְמַעַן תִּחְיֶה, אַתָּה וְזַרְעֶךָ.(דברים ל,יט)

...therefore choose life, so that you you may live (Deut. 30:19)
The only solution for the survival of French Jews is aliyah, coming back to their only truly homeland, Eretz Yisra'el.

Israeli Police Attack Guard of a Jewish Town!

ו׳ לחודש האחד עשר תשע״ה

Arutz 7: Investigation into Police Officer Who Brutalized Security Guard
A guard in the town of Michmash says he was attacked by police - just because he was doing his job.

Moshe Cohen, January 25, 2015

Police officials have appointed a committee to investigate an incident in which a security guard was attacked at the gate to the town of Michmash, north of Jerusalem, over Shabbat. The guard claims that police brutally attacked him, injuring him and causing him psychological damage.

To add insult to injury, said a spokesperson for Michmash, police had not come to arrest anyone or conduct a search – but simply to pick up another officer who lived in the town.

The incident occurred at about 6 a.m. Saturday, with police arriving at the gate and demanding to be let into the town. The guard, a father of five who is the resident of the town, asked the officers what they wanted in the town – considering that it was a religious community, and the vast majority of people were likely to be sleeping. The officers said that they were there on “police business,” and words were exchanged with the officers, according to footage taken by another resident on his cellphone.

Boaz Arazi, a spokesperson for Michmash, said that police refused to answer the guard's questions, despite his telling the officers that he was not allowed to open the gate without knowing what their business in the town was. Eventually, the guard opened the gate – and was immediately arrested by the officers, who claimed that he had “interfered” with their work.

The guard was taken several kilometers up the road to the Binyamin police station and booked. He was released a few hours later – and began walking home from the station, towards Michmash. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Both the incident itself and the shock the guard appeared to experience come as no surprise to me.

Who knows when the Jews in Yehudah and the Shomron (Judea and Samaria) will wake up to the fact that they are just pawns of the government? There are more than a few non-mamlakhtim in Mikhmas.

You would be surprised at the occasional anti-government sentiment I would hear even in traditionally mamlakhti town of Ofra, which lies just north of Mikhmas, when I lived there.

On the other hand, when I lived in K'far Tapu'ah, I witnessed the residents of the town gradually sell out over time, assimilating into the collective of diehard, "religious," State loyalists. Thanks to the mainstream, Israeli (Leftist) news media, many Jews still believe that K'far Tapu'ah is the home to "Jewish extremists." Yet, this could not be farther from the truth.

I have seen guns being taken away, licenses revoked, and licenses being made impossible to obtain. I have seen private guarding companies have been put into place in towns, even when residents, most all IDF veterans, would prefer to guard their town themselves. At least some of these private guarding companies do not allow their guards to work in the towns where they live, only in other towns.

This makes sense when you think about it. When (not if, but when) the government sends whomever it sends to expel Jews from their homes and lands, guards who are residents are less likely to cooperate, and more likely to resist, than those guards who are not residents.

Many of us are still blind and/or numbed out to the reality which surrounds us. Hopefully it will not take too many more incidents like this recent one in Makhmas to wake people up to the reality of our relationship with the Israeli Police, and to the exact nature of their role when it comes to Yehudah and the Shomron, not to mention Haredi neighborhoods, and the developing "no-go" zones of South Tel-Aviv and within the Negev.

We can take an example from Arazi's children:
Arazi said that the guard had suffered physical and mental injuries as a result of the incident, and that his children, whom the guard had raised to respect police, had become very cynical as a result of the incident.

Concerned about anti-Semitism, Israeli barber makes ‘magic kippa’ out of hair

Renee Ghert-Zand, January 21, 2015

(Tip: Life In Israel)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
The title above the title "Blending In" says it all.

Funny how Jews have criticized Haredi Jews for their chothing, and even the hiding away of their payos (side locks) under their hats. Even though such practices began while still in Europe, in order to "blend in,"

Please do not tell me that this is just some sort of gimmick, for publicity or a money making scheme.

The Jews of France do not need to blend in. They need to get the hell out of there!

Making their recognizeable identities disappear only brings them one step closer to disappearing period, on the path toward total assimilation.

In the meantime, they can continue doing what they have already been doing for years, put on a baseball cap.

Terror Attack in the Negev Desert by "Israeli" Arabs!

ערב שבת קודש פר׳ בא תשע״ה

YNET: Policeman rescued from Rahat mob: We were sitting in the car waiting to die
Inquiry commission investigating why officers were in Rahat during funeral of man killed in police drug raid; 'We were on the way home, and we accidentally arrived at a situation we shouldn't have been in,' says one of the policemen.

Ilana Curiel, January 22, 2015

Police was investigating why police cars were dispatched to Rahat at such a sensitive time, while a funeral was held for Sami al-Ajar, who was killed in a police drug raid in the city.

One of the policemen described the incident: "We went home at the end of our workday and all of a sudden we were pelted with stones. It was a massive and scary amount (of stones), from all directions. We weren't prepared for something like that. The vehicle started taking stones and it reached a life-threatening point. We were surrounded. You just sit and wait to die, or for someone to get you out, reading 'Shema Israel.'"

The police knew that its presences at the funeral might cause uproar. For this reason, it was agreed that the Rahat municipality will manage the funeral without police presence.

The policemen, meanwhile, insisted they were not lost. "We were on the way home, on a main road, and we accidently arrived at a situation we shouldn't have been in. When we realized we were somewhere we shouldn't be, it was too late."

The policemen's version of events raises questions, as the funeral procession did not go through a main traffic artery. (cont.)

So, where is Rahat, you ask? Near Hevron in Yehudah (Judea) or near Shchem or Jenin in the Shomron (Samaria), where Arabs calling themselves "palestinians" dare to lay claim to Jewish lands, and have created the illusion of a fight against an occupying force?

Nope. Actually, Rahat can be found smack dab in between Arab occupied Azza (Gaza) and Arab controlled Yehudah, where even the UN (United Nothings) considers considers to be Israel,...as if we should care what they think.

Rahat is hardly what we would call far from civilization. It even has its own Israil train station, enabling residents' commute to and from work in Tel-Aviv and Be'er Sheva.

Most of the reports of Bedouin shenanigans, such as theft of infrastructure components such as electronic parts, theft of livestock, and extortion of "protection" money from local residents, come from much deeper in the desert, like between Be'er Sheva and Mitzpeh Ramon. Bedouins even stole a statue from a tourist site in Mitzpeh Ramon where they enter come and go freely, and even own a business or two. There have been plenty of incidents in this area in which the police have avoided entering the situation.

The incidents of Arab shenanigans in the North Israel which never make the mainstream news media are too numerous to list here. Fortunately, a group of volunteer guards from before the State of Israel has been revitalized, and has included many secular Jews from Kibbutzim (collective communities). Still, the Arab population continues to increase in the North, and incidents which do get reported have been on the rise.

How much longer must we remain in denial about the threats from within? How many more Jews must be attacked and even killed, before we actually enact a permanent solution?

Naftali Bennett

I also wonder how long Naftali Bennett, head of the supposedly "Religious Zionist" Jewish Home Party, will maintain his fool claim that 99.9% of Israeli Arabs are "loyal citizens."

Only time will tell.

No Need for a Referendum on Sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. The Issue has Already been Decided.

ערב ראש החודש האחד עשר תשע"ה

While some support putting sovereignty to referendum to voted on by Israel citizens, I was referred to this recent video (Hebrew/English subtitles), put out by Women In Green, promoting candidates which support sovereignty over Yehudah and the Shomron (Judea and Samaria).

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
No.

We must not make a referendum on sovereignty over Yehudah and Shomron.

We must not vote, in anyway, shape, or form, on sovereignty over Yehudah and Shomron.

This issue has already been decided, and by a higher authority than men.

We must stand behind this truth, declare it, and act upon it. That truth is stated in the Torah.

Eretz Yisra'el (Land of Israel), ALL of Eretz Yisra'el, belongs to Am Yisra'el! There is nothing to vote on. It is not our decision. The decision has already been made. It is an embarrassment that some of these "religious" Zionists support a referendum.

It is important to take a closer look at the figures, included in this video. Do they, themselves really support sovereignty over Yehudah and the Shomron, like Women In Green?

Yisra'el Katz (Likud): The "Green Line?" Why to we insist on even using, let alone acknowledging such ridiculous terminology? Nowhere in the Torah is there a green line. This is a term made up by goyim, and accepted by co-dependent Jews. It is ridiculous, and should by expunged from our vernacular immediately.

The "Territories?" If we are to speak of "territories," then we should speak of the territories of the Tribes of Re'uven and Gad, the Northern segments of the territories of the Tribes of Asher and Naftali, and how have those returned to their rightful owners: Am Yisra'el.

Forget where those are? Here's a map:

Naftali Bennett (Jewish Home)? Here's Bennett's plan...

Bennett's Plan vs. Oslo "Death" Accords
Find the difference.

Doesn't look like the above map, based on the Torah, does it?

'Nuff said.

Uriel Ariel (Jewish Home) and outgoing Speaker of the K'nesseth Yuli Edelstein (Likud) and Yariv Levin (Likud) present an approach much more compatible with Torah principles than Bennet.

Ze'ev Elkin (Likud) those "pieces of Eretz Yisra'el over which we all agree belong to us." What's that on his head? A kippah? HaShem has already decided that it does not matter which pieces over which we agree belong to us nor which pieces that the "international community" of goyim agree belong to us. It is not up for discussion. All of those "pieces," agreed upon or not belong to us. Which Torah has he been following, as a "religious" Zionist?

Miri Regev (Likud) means well. The main flaw in her reasoning stated in this video is that she actually expects her own party to follow its own rules. Good luck!

Ayelet Shaqed (Jewish Home)..Hmm...So far, the women are two for two. And the men? Don't ask. And, those MK's not identifying as "religious" also adhere more to Torah principles more so that those who identify as "religious."

Moshe Feiglin (Likud) would actually like to Israel as a Jewish State. Already think it is? Guess again. Then either you don't actually live here, or haven't been taught that the Torah touches every aspect of our lives, not just what we put into our mouths and we so or do not do on Shabbath.

With the opinions by some of the so-called "Religious" Zionists, presented here in this video, there should no longer be any doubt that the State of Israel is from it.

Rabbi Eli Ben-Dahan (Jewish Home) also presents a position, compatible with Torah. But, don't think that this him Ben-Dahan off the hook for the various, silly remarks he has made in the past.

Zevulun Kalfa, Orit Struk, and Shuli Mualem (Jewish Home) , at least in this video, also express views from a Torah based reasoning. Unfortunately, this by far not always the case, at least not for Kalfa, let alone from their other, fellow Jewish Home Party MK's.

Moti Yogev (Jewish Home), wants to adopt the Levy Report, and apply sovereignty to Yehudah and the Shomron. Gee, MK Yogev, ever thought of adopting the Torah Report? Nope, probably not. What's that on his head? A kippah?

Hmm... No mention of Tzippy Hotovely (Likud)? I'm very surprised,...but pleasantly so.

She, like the other Religious Zionist "hero," Naftali Bennett, allow room for granting Arabs citizenship. This position is only a tad better than Danny Danon's ridiculous friendship with Christians, who have been slowly, but steadily sneaking in through the back door of "volunteering," bot out in the field with non-profit organizations, and through serving in the Israeli Defense Froces [IDF] themselves.

But, I digress...

After the 2:45 mark in the video, a bunch of endorsements are thrown in, from various other famous, and infamous people, over whom we are supposed to be impressed. If you would like to sit in front of your computer screens are weed through them, be my guest.

Then, after that, the video becomes even more worthless than you thought it already was. International Law, History, Western logic from the mouths of not only Israeli lawyers, but from non-Israeli, non-Jews, and who knows who else.

The only, I repeat, the only justification for Jewish claims to Eretz Yisra'el is because HaShem says that it belongs to us, and He tells us so via His Holy Torah. This is the only relevant document we need as a people.

Even the anti-Zionist, Neturei Karta believe that Eretz Yisra'el belongs to Am Yisrael. They simply believe that we are not yet to take possession of it, and not to do so in the manner in which we have already attempted to do so.

I may not agree with their position, but I do not ever remember anyone from Neturei Karta calling for a vote on the Torah (חו"ח).
Now what are we going to do about it?

Vote? By voting, we are saying that there is an alternative to the Torah position.

There is not.

Dear Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook Rejects Extremism? Seriously?

ערב שבת קודש פר׳ וארא תשע״ה

Oh, I know that I am probably going to get into trouble for this, one way or another, assuming that Mark ever sees this, and bothers end up reading it, which I seriously doubt. Disrespecting a brother in public is a big "No-No," albeit not my intention to do so. Since Mark is a brother, I will do my best to put this as nicely as I can.

Nevertheless, I do believe this issue is important enough to warrant an open letter to founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg, brother or not.

That being said, I am also certain that many Jews will get on my case for not being strong enough in my calling him out for his recent statement on "extremist."

If I have taken his statements out of context, then by all means, let me have it. This was what Mark Zuckerberg (or his staff) posted on his own Facebook page, January 9, 2015, which was swiftly picked by the usual social media transportation devices:

Let me share an experiment with you. Those of you with Internet savvy probably have some experience with Google Translate. Although I appreciate this tool, and it has been getting better, it is far from perfect, even with languages closely related to each other.

Sure, some of U. S. President George W. Bush's famous last words included, "We don't have enough Arabic translators." and this was one of the few times that he was right (Ahem!).

However, using Google Translate can provide us, including Mark Zuckerberg and his staff, with enough information to know if a particular Facebook group is connected to an "extremist" group. It even provides definitions below, confirming the proper use of the words and phrases entered.

Here are some examples. Just spell "Hamas" in English, translate to Arabic, and then translate the Arabic back into English. Copy this word and search for on Facebook, and see what comes up.

حماس = Hamas
A Palestinian Islamic movement founded in 1987 with the aim of establishing a Palestinian state incorporating present-day Israel and the West Bank. In 2006 Hamas defeated the more moderate Fatah in the elections for the Palestinian National Authority.

حزب الله = Hezbollah
An extremist Shiite Muslim group that has close links with Iran, created after the Iranian revolution of 1979 and active especially in Lebanon.

تنظيم القاعدة = Al-Qaeda
A militant Islamic fundamentalist group.

الدولة الإسلامية في العراق وسوريا = Islamic State of Iraq and Syria

الدولة الإسلامية في بلاد الشام = Islamic State of the Levant

Apparently, ISIS and ISL are too new for a definition. Or if the absence of a definition popping is a result of an error in spelling after all, well, then you still have three more groups above to use in your searches.

Sure, your search results will invariably include those set up as anti-terrorist groups and pages. But, these can be weeded out with a quick translation of the title.

See for yourself just how many come up on your searches.

Why can't Zuckerberg's team uncover these as easily as we can?

Now try searching in Hebrew, or even in English, for so-called "extremist" groups. I doubt that you will find too many of them, not to mention the double standards when it comes to defining what is, or is not, an "extremist" group.

Debbie Schlussel is one of several writers who have reported on the application of double standards on Facebook, including their own personal experiences with Facebook censorship. I recommend that you check out her site.

There are plenty of misguided, Jewish leftists, both English and Hebrew speakers, ready to jump on anything they find to be even remotely threatening to their assimilated, anti-Torah ways of life. Some of them may even get paid to sit in front of their computers screens, and search and report any group, page, forum, or comment, they find to be offensive to their Western exile, assimilationist sensibilities.

In fact, one theory has suggested that a certain "peace center," which shall remain nameless for now, employs such individuals to do just that, as well as making certain that enough comments which reflect their view can be found on every news item.
Now, let's hope that the Esser Agaroth Facebook Page is still where I left it, after Shabbath.

Oh, yeah, and please don't hesitate to "like" it.

Rabbis Menachem Margolin and Avraham Cooper are Both Wrong!

כ״ה לחודש העשירי תשע״ה
Free Beacon: Europe’s Leading Rabbi: Jews Must Begin Carrying Guns
Top Jewish org petitions EU to permit Jews to carry guns

Adam Kredo, January 15, 2015

One of Europe’s most prominent Jewish organizations is petitioning the European Union to pass new legislation that would permit Jewish community members to carry guns “for the essential protection of their communities,” according to a letter obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

The European Jewish Association (EJA), which represents Jewish communities across Europe, says that gun license laws must be altered following a string of deadly attacks on Jews in France and other European countries, where anti-Semitism has been growing at an alarming rate.

The recent attacks, including one on a Kosher market that killed four, “have revealed the urgent need to stop talking and start acting” in a way that empowers Europe’s Jews, according to a letter sent Tuesday by EJA General Director Rabbi Menachem Margolin to EU leaders. (cont.)
Rabbi Margolin goes on to elaborate on just how bad it is getting for the Jews in Europe, and uses this to support his position that Jews must allowed to arms themselves. Meanwhile...
Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, said that while guns could help Jews defend themselves against an individual attack, only authorities can protect them against a mass attack like those carried out in France.

“As to personally being armed, such a move could help when a Jewish person is threatened by thugs, but won’t help if G-d forbid, Charlie-type terror attacks are launched,” Cooper said.

“Bottom line: Only the Police and intelligence can protect France’s Jews from terrorism,” Cooper said, noting that it is expected French authorities will continue boosting defenses. “If the government doesn’t, then there is no long range future for Jews there.”

“In the meantime, additional steps by the community to train and defend Jews from hate attacks are appropriate, necessary, and prudent,” Cooper said. “I pray that all these steps will help.
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Seriously, Rabbi Cooper? Depend on the authorities of the lands of our exile to defend us? Not only did it not work last week, but it has never worked.

There is no long range future for the Jews in Europe, because there isn't supposed to be any! The lands of Jewish exile are temporary dwelling places only, nothing we need to invest in with our time, money, nor enery, let alone our lives.

Rabbi Margolin needs to be reminded that arming the Jews in the lands of our exile is also not the solution to saving the may have work in the time of Mordechai and Queen Esther c. 2,400 years ago, but they did not have much of a choice. Whereas, the Jews of today do.

Rabbi Yisachar Shlomo
Teichtel hy"d
I would like to remind Rabbi Margolin of another European rabbi, Rabbi Yisachar Shlomo Teichtel hy"d, author of the book Em HaBanim Smeicha. From the lack of Zionist enthusiasm, Hungarian community of Rabbi Teichtel, not only saw and read the writing on the wall of pre-World War II Europe, but spread it around, and encouraged what he knew to be the only possible solution: Aliyah (immigration to Israel)

Certain rabbis may not want to leave their comfortable lives in the Europe or in the U. S., either desiring to arm themselves or to continue to depend on their non-Jewish neighbors for help. That is their choice. But they should be ashamed that their words are keeps their fellow Jews imprisoned in the golah (exile) with them.

The only solution is aliyah, return to our only true, homeland, Erertz Yisra'el.

Rabbi Meir Kahane h"yd
There are some who have been invoking a favorite quote from Rabbi Meir Kahane hy"d...

"For every Jew a 22!"

...22 calibers that is.

But, apparently, these same individuals have selective memories. Do I really have say it?

OK, I will. Rabbi Kahane moved to Israel.

'Nuff said.

May God Bless and Keep the U. S. Government,...Very far away from Israel!

כ״ה לחודש העשירי תשע״ה

Adapted from the film "Fiddler On The Roof"

The following report is being hailed as something positive. The fact that is does not have a chance in hell of passing votes in Congress, let alone being signed into law, is irrelevant.
Times of Israel: Senate bill seeks to force embassy move to Jerusalem
Legislation is opening salvo as Republican lawmakers look to use Congress to challenge Obama’s foreign policy

Rebecca Shimoni Stoil, January 14, 2015

WASHINGTON — Senators Dean Heller (R-NV) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) ushered in the new Congressional session by proposing legislation Tuesday to force the Obama administration to change longstanding US policy and move the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

The bill, which stands little chance of surviving both Congress and the presidential veto pen, nonetheless represents the opening shots from a newly Republican Congress that has vowed to challenge presidential authority on key foreign policy questions.

It also comes as the Supreme Court readies to rule on a high profile case which could determine Congress’s ability to shape foreign policy and force the State Department to change course and recognize Jerusalem’s status on passports of Americans born in the city.

The Jerusalem Embassy and Recognition Act of 2015 seeks to force the executive branch to uphold the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995, which calls for the relocation of the embassy from Tel Aviv to the Israeli capital, but has been pushed off by pro forma presidential measures since.

“Almost fifteen years ago Congress passed the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 with overwhelming bipartisan majorities in both the House and Senate,” Cruz, the bill’s cosponsor, wrote in a statement Tuesday. “It is my hope that members of Congress on both sides of the aisle support this important bill. It is long past due for our government to finally and unequivocally recognize Israel’s historical capital both in word and deed.(cont.)

A nice sentiment, right? Well-deserved validation of our Divine claim to Jerusalem and surrounds, right? This will only help us to gain full control over Har HaBayith (Temple Mount), right?

Wrong! Read on.
...The bill is co-sponsored by Cruz, a Tea Party Republican thought to be a main contender for a GOP presidential run in 2016 and it is one of the first attempts to use the new Republican-controlled Congress to challenge Obama’s foreign policy decisions. In the coming weeks, a number of legislative initiatives are likely to attempt to shape foreign policy...
On one hand, Israel is simply being used as a tool in the ongoing battle between the Legislative and Executive Branches of the U. S. Government, and between the Democrats and Republicans. Of course, this is all an illusion of adversarial relationships. Other than a handful of "social issues" and arguments overa money distribution and economics, is there really that much of a difference between these two parties?

But, I digress...

We have got Jew-hating/Arab (Yishma'el)-loving, "liberals" (Esau) and their assimilated, co-dependent, Jewish sidekicks, desperate for existential validation and love on one side, and conservative Christians (also Esau), who want to be our "friends," with their enamored, Jewish lackies on the other.

Either way you slice it, Americans from this group or that want to control Eretz Yisra'el (Land of Israel).
...Supreme Court challenge The anticipated battles over which branch of government has a say in determining foreign policy are not restricted to Pennsylvania Avenue. In the coming months, the Supreme Court is expected to deliver a long-anticipated ruling in Zivitofsky v. Kerry, in which the current policy of not writing “Jerusalem, Israel” as a place of birth in US passports is challenged.
The Supreme Court case, which originates in a request by the parents of Menachem Zivitofsky to write “Israel” as the place of birth in their Jerusalem-born son’s passport, is popular among court-watchers for its potential implications for Congress’s role in shaping foreign policy.

Although a narrow ruling that does not have sweeping implications for the shaping of foreign policy is expected, it is still possible that the Supreme Court could attempt to swat down attempts like Cruz’s to change the State Department from outside...
Although I applaud the efforts of the Zivitofskys, fighting on the side of truth, and bringing this truth to the attention of the world, why should we care what the U. S. government thinks of us?

Arutz 7 Report: American Consulate Established 'Armed Arab Militia'
US Consulate replacing Israeli security guards with armed Palestinians with criminal records, report claims, alleging secret armory as well.

Staff, January 14, 2015

Three Israeli security guards who worked at the US consulate resigned in the wake of a plan to hire 35 Palestinians from East Jerusalem as armed security guards who are currently undergoing training in Yericho (Jericho). One of them has gone so far as to accuse the consulate of creating "an armed Palestinian militia."

According to the report in Yediot Aharonot, the plan is to employ the Palestinians mainly to escort convoys of American diplomats in Judea-Samaria.

This is a breach of an agreement between the Consulate and the Israeli government, signed in 2011, whereby only guards who served in combat units in the IDF who are employed by the consulate will be allowed to carry arms.

The report said that the change in the consulate Israelis began months ago, with the appointment of consulate security officer Dan Cronin. Employees say that since they started working there seven Israeli security guards were fired, compared with one Palestinian guard.

The three Israeli guards who recently resigned in protest at his behavior, say he is training the Palestinian security guards at the American facility in Jericho, where Palestinian security forces are training. Some of the guards were even flown to the US for training.

U. S. Consulate, Jerusalem
This is where you can renounce
your U. S. citizenship, just like I did!
Employees who were employed at the consulate blame Cronin for blatantly opposing Israel and expressing pro-Palestinian statements.

"The law in Israel is only a recommendation for him," one employee fired. "Cronin does whatever he wants."

According to them, some of the Palestinian security guards employed at the consulate were arrested in the past for throwing rocks or have relatives who were convicted of hostile terrorist activities.

"The Consulate head's behavior tends toward the Palestinians, and Cronin actually established a Palestinian armed militia for the Consulate," an employee said. "He is training them with weapons, combat and tactical exercises. There is a lack of responsibility here - who ensures that such weapons, once given over to Palestinian guards, won't make their way to terror groups?"

Armory with machine guns, rifles and shotguns
The report further stated that the consulate has an armory with machine guns, rifles and shotguns, without permission from the Israeli authorities, although Israel is aware of the issue.

The anti-Israeli character of the consulate today is clear, according to the report: the most senior adviser is a Palestinian Arab, Ibrahim Delalsh, who sat in Israeli prison for belonging to Fatah-linked terror groups. Another advisor is a relative of one of the leaders of Hamas in Jerusalem, Muhammad Hassan Abu Tir, who has been in and out of Israeli prisons many times.

While diplomats at the Consulate live in Jewish areas of western Jerusalem, they consider themselves "American Ambassadors in Palestine," according to the report. Its armored vehicles often move to and from Judea and Samaria, its people have contacts with the Palestinian Authority and it takes part in surveillance over construction of Jewish communities in the region.

The Consulate said in response: "The US Consulate General in Jerusalem has full confidence in the professionalism of its staff. We do not discuss the security of our diplomatic mission but note that there are many inaccuracies here. In addition, we coordinate our work with local authorities to the fullest." (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
How convenient! Translation?

"We don't really give a damn! We're the U. S. Government! We'll do whatever we want!"

And we still do not have any answers as to what happened two weeks ago, when U. S. Consular officials failed to coordinate their "visit" to the Shomron (Samaria) with Israeli Defense Forces [IDF]. "Coordinate our work with local authorities to the fullest," indeed!

They are already dangerously close to Israel in their dealings with ISIS. Whether they Israel in Gog u'Magog fashion (with or instead of Russia or other foreign invaders), or be invited in with open arms by the Israeli Government, only time will tell.

U. S. Secretary of State John Kerry announced that he would like to place U. S. troops in the Jordan Valley, something which I have been writing about since 2005.

It is no secret that the U. S. State Department in particular has been the bane of the Jews and Israel's existence, since 1948, when it recommended to then President Harry S. Truman against recognizing the State of Israel.

Actually, even before that, Jewish refugees fleeing Nazi ridden Europe, were turned away from U. S. shores. The answer to the question as to why, has still not been answered to my satisfaction. The only answer I ccn come up with is the politically-incorrect answer of Jew-hatred.

Isn't it odd that the U. S. Consulate is not on the west side of the 1949 Armistice Line, nor on the east side of it, but rather right on top of it?

Talk about playing both sides of the fence, and I mean that literally.

Whether planned as a command base for reconnaissance, intelligence gathering, and U. S. troop movements, which according to some, it already is, or the future U. S. Embassy in yet another Arab terrorist state, its chosen location is just too uncanny.

Of course, we Jews will eventually have the last laugh. Now, if we can only bring ourselves to stop accepting financial support from the U. S., that laugh might come just a little bit faster.

May God bless and keep the U. S. Government,...

JPost.com: Twelve dead, four wounded critically in shooting at headquarters of French satirical newspaper

Reuters, January 7, 2015

Shooters reportedly say, "We have avenged the Prophet," as they enter offices of Charlie Hebdo with Kalashnikov guns.

PARIS - Hooded gunmen stormed the Paris offices of a weekly satirical magazine renowned for lampooning radical Islam, killing at least 12 people, including two police officers in the worst militant attack on French soil in recent decades.

One of the men was captured on video shouting "Allah!" as four shots rang out. Two assailants are then seen calmly leaving the scene and remain at large.

Charlie Hebdo (Charlie Weekly) is renowned for courting controversy with satirical attacks on political and religious leaders and has published numerous cartoons lampooning the Prophet Mohammad. The last tweet on its account mocked Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the militant Islamic State, which has taken control of large swathes of Iraq and Syria.

"This is a terrorist attack, there is no doubt about it," President Francois Hollande told reporters after rushing to the scene of the attack. His government raised France's security level to the highest notch and scheduled an emergency cabinet meeting...

...Another 20 people were injured in the attack, including four or five critically. (cont.)
At least two of those murdered, Georges Wolinski and Dr. Elsa Cayat, were Jewish. May God avenge their blood!

Interestingly enough, Charlie Hebdo is a left-wing magazine, and is not unknown for poking fun at Jews and Christians, as well as Muslims. Read Debbie Schlussel's full report.
JPost.com: Four dead at Paris kosher market after raid; one hostage taker on the run, Hebdo gunman killed

JPost.com Staff, Reuters, January 9, 2014

Report: the hostage taker said he belonged to ISIS and his female accomplice is still on the run, according to CNN.

PARIS - Four hostages were killed and four others were critically wounded as a result of a hostage standoff in a kosher supermarket in eastern Paris on Friday.

One hostage taker, Amedy Coulibaly, was killed during the police raid, but it is believed he had a female accomplice, 27-year-old Hayat Boumeddiene -- who remains at large, according to a CNN report. The report says that Coulibaly and Boumeddiene have been in a relationship since 2010.

During a conversation with local French media during the hostage crisis, Coulibaly claimed to choose the supermarket because it was Jewish and said he was part of ISIS, according to CNN .

French media reported on Friday that the police raided the kosher supermarket where a gunman took at least five people hostage. At least 14 hostages were freed in the raid, press has reported. (cont.)

The synagogue was evacuated during the kosher market siege, Le Monde reported on Friday, and did not reopen for services on Friday night. (cont.)

Northeastern Quarter

So, the Grande Synagogue de Paris, a good 5km (3mi) away from the besieged kosher market, was evacuated and closed during and after the attack on the Charlie Hedbo satirical weekly.

Why wasn't the Synagogue de Tournelles? Not only does it lie within closer proximity to the kosher market which was under siege, and it is also no stranger to sieges itself. During the anti-Israel, pro-Gaza (AKA: "Israel should lay down and die, and not defend itself.") protests last July, hundreds of Jews were trapped inside, until police arrived to "rescue" them.

And the Synagogue de Nazareth? I could not find any reports on this synagogue either.

Odd, to say the least.

It seems to me the French Jews were doomed long ago...
Washington Times: Muslims segregated from French society in growing Islamist mini-states

Rowan Scarborough, January 7, 2015

A backdrop to the massacre in Paris on Wednesday by self-professed al Qaeda terrorists is that city officials have increasingly ceded control of heavily Muslim neighborhoods to Islamists, block by block.

France has Europe’s largest population of Muslims, some of whom talk openly of ruling the country one day and casting aside Western legal systems for harsh, Islam-based Shariah law. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
French Jews are still not out of danger. As Yishma'el (Arabs/Muslims) slaughters us, and whoever else gets in the way of slaughtering us, Esau (The West - Progressives and Christians) comes at us with with hugs, reassuring words, and money.

Will all of the French Jews actually leave France? Will they move to Israel? Will some be taken in by the trappings of North America? Many French Jews of North African origin have already ended up in Montreal, yet another bastion of growing Jew-hatred.

How many French Jews, sitting on the fence of self-identification, choose to identify themselves as French, and not as Jews? How many French Jews will respond to the recent, horrifying events, by staying away from all things Jewish, instead of moving closer to their communities?

And worst of all, how many French Jews will heed the words of so-called, European Jewish "leaders" who tell them "not to give up," but to "stay and fight?"

After all,...
VOA: Charlie Hebdo continues
Also Friday, the French newspaper Liberation made room for the surviving Charlie Hebdo journalists to prepare the satirical weekly’s next edition. The newspaper plans to print 1 million copies, 30 times its regular run.

Charlie Hebdo journalists and cartoonists have returned under heavy police protection, Reuters said.

"Since a long time, Charlie Hebdo and Liberation are seen, are like brothers. It's like a fraternity," Liberation editor Pierre Fraidenraich said. His paper had welcomed Charlie Hebdo staff after the newspaper was firebombed in 2011.

Fraidenraich said his newspaper would host the Charlie Hebdo team for "all the time they want."
Who knows how many Jews are still involved. Nevertheless, if there are any, why on earth would they stick around? Probably, because within their ideological minds, they do not have any choice.

Yishma'el is dangerous. Except to those of us in deep, delusional denial, this is not a secret.

Esau is dangerous, but many cannot, or will not, see this, because of how sneaky they are about it, about seductive, with physical pleasures, avodah zarah, or money.

The Erev Rav, descendants of the false converts who came with us out of Egyptian exile, and their pawns, are still very much around, causing problems from within, and discouraging.

Israeli Government officials appear to be supportive of French Jews, and encouraging their immigration to Israel. Yet, I do hope that nos frères et sœurs juifs français, our French Jewish brothers and sisters, get over their honeymoon period quickly, and do not expect anything from the Israeli Government.

There are well-established French-speaking communities, especially in Jerusalem and in Netanyah, not mention significant numbers of French-speaking families, living in small towns, such as Kokhav Ya'aqov, Eli, Ofra, Kokhav HaShahar, and Alon Shevuth.

I hope that these new immigrants from France listen to these veterans, and glean from their experience, strength, and hope, rather than depending on the government.

But, that can all be worked out later. The time has long passed for French Jews to get on the plane already.

In contrast to the spin on Jewish emigration in the mainstream news, Jews leaving France and the rest of Europe is a good thing, albeit it is happening in a more painful way than necessary. Although the plans of quite a few Jews to relocate to Israel are simply being expediated, many are leaving France not for purely ideological reasons, because Israel is the Jewish People's only true homeland (not France, not the U. S., not the UK, etc.). Rather, they are running for their lives.

Nevertheless, the ends are the same, as they should be, Jews returning to, and re-settlling our Promised Land.

Isn't it ironic how the same Muslims who demand that Jews remove themselves from parts, and eventually all, of our Homeland, are actually causing more and more Jews to come back to it, due to their threats of annihilation.

Their plan will, of course, backfire in the end. The Almighty is on our side, and appears to have had enough taunting of His People. (Ezeq. 36)
