Until now, Danny Danon was a marginal character from the extremist back benches. In the next Knesset, he will be at the heart of Israel’s ruling party

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Danny Danon lost miserably in his challenge to Binyamin Netanyahu's leadership of the Likud Party.
Moshe Feiglin received 25 percent of the vote. Dannon could not even break a double digit percentage of the vote.
Years ago, Danny Danon through his position of head of World Likud was going to help Christians settle in Israel. Not accept their donations, not accept their help through volunteering, but actually settle here.
Not just Christians, but pseudo-"Efraimites" who believe that the North of Israel is theirs (Northern Kingdom), and that Judea is ours.
They believe that they will eventually taken on mitzvot, and that we will take on the belief in their mythology.
Does that not disturb you?
Both Bibi and Bennett forsake that land in one way or another.
Does that not disturb you?
Does not such blatant disregard for halakhah (Jewish Law) disturb you?

It should.
It disturbs me but not enough to throw my vote away on otzma leyisrael. Danny Danon is only one of (hopefully) almost 40 candidates of Yisrael Beiteinu including Chotobelli and Feiglin who AFAIK have no connections to ovdei avodah zara. Get real. Only Bibi with a strong party can stand up to Obama and continue building in YOSH.Not to mention taking care of threats to Israel's security from Syria ,Lebanon and Iran.
ReplyDeleteGet real?
ReplyDeleteHave we not yet learned that in Israel's pseudo-democratic system (ie. deMOCKracy) that the leadership and/or the courts do whatever they want, irregardless of who is on the leading party's list?
*You're right about Feiglin. He wrote against this kind of Christian "help."
How much do you wanna bet that Bibi will appoint Meridor and Begin as ministers, and the presence of the good Jews on the Likud list, including the two you mentioned, will be meaningless.
Please do not tell me that being "realistic" means having to settle.
Of course, the mainstream media, including the (real) Settler and Haredi-bashing JPost, do not want us to believe that Ben Ari and Eldad can get in.
Several polls, including Reshet Bet's, of all polls, say that they will get in, probably with a third seat.
Bennett, of course, is just a handsome reincarnation of the now dead (B"H) Techiyah Party.
Bibi will try to give away Land; Bennet will try to give up some sovereignty, and hand out 1,000's of Israeli passports to the Arab enemy.
This is inevitable.
Having Ben Ari, Eldad, and Marzel in K'nesseth performing the misswath 'aseh of tokhahah, embarassing the hell of out the gov't will have a chance to wake up our fellow Israelis from their numbed-out sleep and existence within the endless cycle of learned helplessness, and lessen the damage.
