Arutz 7: Peres Reaffirms Israeli Commitment to Coexistence
July 9, 2013
President Peres and Interior Minister Saar met Israeli Arab Regional Council Chairmen Tuesday in order to promote dialogue and coexistence, "We wish to tell you that all the essential issues of and society faced by Israeli Arab leadership is high on our agenda as well. We aim to provide all the support, advice and assistance we can in our common goal of peace and equality with the 1.5 million Arab citizens of Israel," said the President.
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
"Equality?" Well, by now, I should not have to say that President Shimon Peres gives a hoot about halakhah (Jewish Law), which is diametrically opposed to his vision of so-called "coexistence," as well as to any other vision of his I can think of.
If we assume that President Peres is not in the least bit stupid nor naive, then what follows logically is that he knows exactly what he is doing.
And, what he is doing would be twofold:
1. Running around being political and influencing public policy. Even though the role of Israeli President is supposed to be anything, but political.I suppose that he would defend himself by saying that he is the President for all Israeli citizens, and
2. Aiding and abetting those who would see Israel, the People and the Land, destroyed.
