Washington Post: Israel a target of US counter-intelligence operations
Paper publishes secret intelligence budget, obtained from Edward Snowden, detailing intel operations, including monitoring of Israel.
Edward Snowden Traitor or Hero? |
According to the report, Israel is the only US ally that American counter-intelligence officials suspect of spying on the United States. The other countries listed as targets of counter-intelligence operations are enemies and rivals of the United States, such as Iran, China, Russia and Cuba. (cont.)

Well, apparently, Israel did spy on the U. S., so who can blame them for that. Of course, there is so much more to the story of Jonathan Pollard than has been revealed, nor will be revealed anytime soon.
Jonathan Pollard |
Unfortunately, if were released anytime soon, I would be very concerned for his safety. There are those out there who simply do not want Pollard's secrets out on the street.
Odd, since that must mean that the powers that be believe that discrediting Pollard as a nut, if he opens his mouth, will not be sufficient.
This brings us back to Edward Snowden. When the news broke about him, and his alleged activities, he was vilified in the mainstream news media, and cheered in the alternative media. The fact that I took the latter position, and have since stuck with the latter position, is not the main point I want to make here.
The only point I would like to make AGAIN, because MAYBE you will listen this time, is that Israel and the U. S. are not friends.
They were never really friends in the first place.
The information about Israeli - U. S. relations is nothing new. However, it does support what I have been pointing all of this time.
I recommend that you read the comprehensive post on Tomer Devorah, for the complete "connecting of the dots."
You say, " I believe that the secrets he knows, or those the powers that be thinks he knows, are why he has yet to be released."
ReplyDeleteYou give the administartions of the US too much credit. They have therein anti-Semites and THAT is the reason they do not release him. The very same reason they put away and keep Sholom Rubashkin in jail.
Thanks for writing.
ReplyDeleteI guess I wasn't clear. You may very well be right, and probably are.
My point was that Pollard is not being released, because Israel, or rather certain Israelis, do not really want him released.
The U. S. could just be playing along,...besides any other motivations it has.
