Israeli Presidential Postal Protection

ג' לחודש התשעי תשע"ד

A while ago, when I went to pick up the mail for work, I saw the following stamps on the personal letter addressed to my boss.

Front: "Checked, Dept. of Security"
Back: "Not connected to the Bureau of the President"

Israeli Prez. Peres
The post office box number on the letter had been crossed out. Apparently, the sender had mistakenly switched two of the digits, which turned the number into the post office box number of the Bureau of the President.

How the letter was "checked," is hard to say. X-Ray? Special dogs to sniff out anything suspicious?

If the letter had been opened, then it was done so, and resealed so I could certainly not detect it.

Anyway, you should all be happy that the President of Israel's security guys and gals are on the job to protect him?!
