Jew Hating Wrap-Up 2013

זאת חנוכה תשע"ד

As the goyshe calendar counts down, let's take a look a some of the "end-of-year" wrap-ups. Here's one from the World Zionist Organization [WZO]. Personally, I find the WZO to be one of the least worst, mainstream Jewish organizations in existence. Unfortunately, that isn't saying much.

Antisemitic Incidents Map For 2013
Due to increasing levels of Antisemitism and Antisemitic incidents worldwide, the World Zionist Organization’s Center for Countering Antisemitism has created this global Calendar of Antisemitic Events. Reports of Antisemitic incidents that come from the World Zionist Organization’s global network of partners in the war against Antisemitism, as well as reports from the Coordination Forum for Countering Antisemitism (CFCA) have been put together in this interactive forum, providing you with an overview of current incidents of Antisemitism worldwide.

The map is fully interactive, and is constantly being updated. By clicking on any flag, you can learn about recent Antisemitic events that have taken place in a particular location.

If you would like to report an incident of Antisemitism, please fill out the form found at http://izionist.org/eng/red-email/.

The Center for Diaspora Communications & Countering Antisemitism
The Center serves as a hub for a global network of Zionist activists committed to standing up to Antisemitism. We also work to strengthen the bonds between Israel and Jewish communities in the Diaspora. Our volunteers come from around the world and bring their unique talents to serve the Jewish people. Our mission is to raise awareness and confront Antisemitic incidents around the world. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
What those around the world like to call "anti-Semitism," I call anti-Jewish. After all, Arabs are Semitic, too, are they not?

But, more importantly, what the WZO does not seem to understand is that there should no longer be a Diaspora. The only reason for the existence of "mainstream Jewish organizations" outside of Israel should be to encourage and assist aliyah (immigration of Jews to Israel). I suppose that qiruv (bringing Jews back to Torah) and education could be others, for now. Nevertheless, Aliyah is the only appropriate response to anti-Jewish attacks.
