Where did Jews Spend their Passover Vacations?

כ"ה לחודש הראשון תשע"ד
YNET: Tens of thousands of Jews living abroad come to Israel for Passover
Tourism ministry estimates about 125,000 visitors will arrive in Israel for Jewish holiday.

Noam (Dabul) Dvir, April 14, 2014

Tens of thousands of Jews living abroad arrived in Israel this week to share the Passover Seder with family members in the Holy Land.

"It's good to come here for Passover; the weather here is excellent and in Denmark it's cold," said Emil Denino who arrived from Copenhagen with his daughter for a Seder in Haifa.

"It's not my first time," he said, "but it's my daughter's first time in Israel as an adult. Last time we came she was just three-years-old. It's very exciting for us to be here for Passover." (cont.)

Well, that's nice. Maybe they will stay, or at least have a nice experience, encouraging them to return someday soon. Meanwhile,...

YNET: Israelis flock to Turkey for Passover
Some 24,000 Israelis to spend Jewish holiday in resort city of Antalya, a 150% increase in number of passengers from last year.

Danny Sadeh, April 12, 2014

Thousands of Israelis are heading to the Turkish resort city of Antalya for the Passover holiday, after years of avoiding Turkey's "all-inclusive" clubs due to the country's strained diplomatic relations with Israel.

The reason is mainly economical. "At these prices, one doesn't think twice," one of the Israeli tourists explains. (cont.)
According to what I saw on Ynet.co.il, the most popular destination out of Ben-Gurion International Airport this Pesah was Turkey, more specifically, Antalya.
Turkish PM Erdoğan

Such short memories we have.

We apologized to Turkey for defending our borders against hostile, invading thugs, armed with knives and iron bars, and losing one of our soldiers in the process.

Then history repeats itself, when the apology is not considered to be good enough.

Yet, all the Israeli tourist mentioned above can continue saying is...
"I'm not in favor of boycotts anywhere. I have a vacation package here with a price no one can compete with. Apart from that, I know the Turks are yearning for tourists from Israel."
We are indeed a "stiff-necked people" (Ex. 32:9). But I am not entirely sure that the Torah was referring to our self-destructive tendencies of today.

Actually, now that I think about it, it quite possible was.

Who the Hell Does Robert Serry Think He Is?

כ"ג לחודש הראשון תשע"ד

JPost: Israel denies UN envoy barred from pre-Easter ceremony in Jerusalem
Reuters, April 19, 2014

Jerusalem calls complaints by envoy attempt to inflate "micro-incident," noting there was no reported violence during Christian holy day. Robert Serry, Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process in Ramallah, 2009.

A United Nations envoy accused Israel on Saturday of trying to block him and other diplomats from a pre-Easter "Holy Fire" ritual in the packed Jerusalem church Christians revere as the burial site of Jesus.

The incident, following two days of violence at a separate flashpoint holy site for Jews and Muslims, pointed up rising tensions in the politically charged city ahead of Pope Francis's Holy Land visit next month.

Israel dismissed the UN complaint, calling it an attempt to inflate a "micro-incident" and noting there was no reported violence among the tens of thousands of Christians who thronged to the Holy Sepulchre Church in Jerusalem's old walled city.

"Holy Fire" is a traditional Orthodox Christian ceremony at which they say a miraculous fire appears at the site identified as Jesus's tomb every year on the day before Easter.

Robert Serrry, UN "Piece" Envoy conjuring up some Holy Fiya!
"Whateva! I'll do what I want!"

Robert Serry, the UN's peace envoy to the Middle East, said in a statement Israeli security officers had stopped a group of Palestinian worshippers and diplomats in a procession near the church, "claiming they had orders to that effect".

Serry added in separate remarks to Reuters he had waited with Italian, Norwegian and Dutch diplomats for up to a half hour crushed by a crowd against a barricade, while Israeli officers ignored his appeals to speak with a superior.

"It became really dangerous because there was a big crowd and I was pushed against a metal fence the police put up there, the crowd tried to push really hard," Serry said, adding they might have been trampled had police not finally let them pass.

"I don't understand why this happened," he added. "I'm not saying I felt my life was in imminent danger, but this wasn't something you associate with a peaceful procession for Easter."

"PROBLEM OF JUDGMENT"
Ban Ki-Moon
United Nations Clown General
Terry Balata, a Palestinian witness, told Reuters she heard the Israeli officer tell Serry, who was with about 30 other diplomats and worshippers, "so what?" when he identified himself as UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's envoy to the region.

Charging "unacceptable behaviour from the Israeli security authorities," Serry demanded in his statement that all parties "respect the right of religious freedom."

An Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman denied Serry's charges and accused him of displaying "a serious problem of judgment" as there was no reported violence during the prayers and a customary torch-lit "Holy Fire" ritual held at the church.

Spokesman Yigal Palmor acknowledged though that police took steps to limit the crowd packed into the church and narrow streets outside it. "If there was any pushing and shoving I would say it was a micro-incident," Palmor said.

Israeli police did not immediately comment on the incident, which came as they grappled with tensions elsewhere in the old city where Jews celebrated a week-long Passover festival at the same time as Christians prepared for Easter.

Earlier this week, police confronted Muslim protesters throwing stones near the al-Aqsa Mosque as Jews visited the surrounding area, which Judaism reveres as the place where biblical temples once stood.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Automatically assuming that Israel was at fault? Some journalistic objectivity!

Sure, JPost.com got it from Reuters, but the supposedly right of center, ie. not so quick to bash Israel and the leftist rags, was either too lazy to edit the Reuters report, or was pleased enough that it fit in perfectly with its agenda of pandering to Christians.

Of course, I wish that Israeli police had done more to prevent these going to their voodoo, magical fire, false man-deity, avodah zarah ceremony,...assuming that they actually did anything at all, besides crowd control, in order to protect the safety of these fools!

And now, on to Robert Serry and the United Nations Nothings... How typical of really, any so-called "official" stomping into our Land, stomping all over us, and our traditions, and trying to tell us what we should and should not do.

Religious freedom? There's that phrase again. Everything seems to get turned toward the issues of religious freedom and democracy, and away from the issues of Torah and Jewish sovereignty,...issues which have absolutely nothing to do with religious freedom and democracy.

Haven't we learned? Since before our expulsion from Spain, we have tried to be like the goyim, and yet they have always rejected us anyway. But, the anti-Torah, Haskalah movement, not to mention the likes of Shimon Peres, Yossi Beilin, and their Labor Zionist, Oslo/Geneva collaborating cohorts continue to press the issue as part of their ultimate plan to assimilate the Jewish People into Western, "progress" culture (Read: "disappear").

So, in actuality, the deeper issue here involves the likes of pride filled trash like Robert Serry simply doing what he was always meant to do, challenging the Jewish People, the hopeful result, our waking up from our numbed-out robotic state, and preventing such "officials" from running around our Land, doing whatever they like, and stepping all over us in the process.

Gee, maybe we would even wake up enough to prevent such filthy practices as Jeezer holy fire and other false deity worship as well, one of the most fundamental elements of our Holy Torah.

Igniting The Temple Mount

אסרו חג הפסח תשע"ד

I posted this article from Ha'Aretz, which I prefer to call "Am Ha'Aretz" (riff-raff), in its entirety. My highlighting only points out some of this rag's slant, such as referring to Torah-observant Jews as "fanatics." Misswoth (Torah Commandments) such as qorbanoth (sacrifices) are looked down upon as archaic and barbaric, flying in the face of the "holy," Western/assimilationist, "progressive" (Read: non-Jewish) values. Acts, such as attempting to bring tefillin onto the Temple Mount, are tantamount to smuggling.

It is important to recognize the voice of those whose lives' purpose is to battle against the Torah, as well as their common strategies.

Ha'Aretz: Temple Mount, a flash point ready to ignite
More than the political stalemate between Israel and the Palestinians, it is rising tensions in the Temple Mount that could lead to an escalation.

Amos Harel and Nir Hasson, April 20, 2014

The rising tensions in Jerusalem in recent weeks escalated even further on Sunday morning with the injury of two police officers and 24 Palestinian protesters on the Temple Mount. The events on the Temple Mount, which attracts both Israeli and Palestinian fanatics, has been receiving more and more attention from the security establishment recently.

Most striking, on the Israeli side, have been the activities of various organizations which have managed to advance their interests by securing the support of right-wing Knesset members. On the Palestinian side, the Palestinian Authority has been responding to the increased presence on the Temple Mount of Hamas and similar organizations. It seems that Hamas has recognized, rightly so, the Temple Mount’s potential for reigniting an intifada in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, while it upholds the ceasefire on the Gaza-Israel border.

The Israel Police have deployed a large contingent to keep the peace on and around the Temple Mount. But, aside from their goal to keep the peace, the police are under constant criticism from the right-edge of the political spectrum, which claims that they are giving in to Palestinian demands on the Temple Mount and failing to act against Muslim stone-throwing at both Jews praying at the Western Wall and the security forces.

The tensions on the Temple Mount become even more important due to the stalemated negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. Most media attention has been directed toward the American attempt to guarantee continuation of the talks until the end of the year, at the least, by securing prisoner releases and creating other incentives. At the same time, the PA has resumed threatening to dismantle itself, which would force Israel to take responsibility for civil administration in the West Bank.

But, in actuality, it seems that the biggest threat of escalation is events on the ground – from tensions between extremist settlers like those in Yitzhar and their Palestinian neighbors to the clashes on the Temple Mount. It is also important to note that struggle for control of the Temple Mount has historically been a contributing factor to escalation between Jews and Palestinians – from the 1929 riots, to the clashes in 1990, and the outbreak of the Second Intifada in 2000. (The word "riots" is used here instead of the more precise word "massacre.")

Turning point
In retrospect, Passover 2014 might be remembered as a turning point in the escalation of violence on the Temple Mount. As with every holiday, increased tensions were certainly felt over Passover, but this time, it seems that conditions for increased violence on the Temple Mount were perfect. On the Jewish side, the various “Temple movements” (there are around 30 organizations clamoring to rebuild the Jewish temple or reinstate ritual sacrifice), have made unprecedented achievements in bringing the notion of altering the status quo on the Temple Mount into Israeli public discourse. The issue is also on the daily agenda of various Israeli MKs and ministers, including Uri Ariel, Moshe Feiglin and Miri Regev.

MK Moshe Feiglin (3rd from left) and other Jews on the Temple Mount

In recent months, not a day has gone by without some kind of incident between Jews attempting to enter the Temple Mount and police. Sometimes it’s yeshiva students caught with tefillin. Other times, important rabbis or MKs are refused entry to the mount. But despite what seems like the police being overly strict with its policies toward Jews, Temple Mount activists should be more than satisfied with their achievements over the last year.

Temple activists have managed to get questions of the mount into Israeli public discourse, and not just as a matter of Israeli sovereignty, but rather as a question of Jewish religious freedom. Roughly two months ago, the Knesset held its first discussion of the issue. The Internal affairs committee, headed by MK Miri Regev, has held numerous discussions on the subject, and has also created a subcommittee to examine religious freedom on the Temple Mount, headed by MK David Tsur. Even Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz, not considered a supporter of the Temple Mount activists, has written on his Facebook page in favor of changing Israeli policy on the mount. No less important is the fact that a decade ago only a handful of Jews would periodically visit the Temple Mount. Now, they come out in droves.

Most of the visitors wear knitted yarmulkes, although some soldiers visit as well (within the framework of historical and cultural trips,) as do students, women, secular people and even some ultra-Orthodox, even though for the ultra-Orthodox, visiting the Temple Mount used to be forbidden under any circumstances.

Jerusalem's police, which have been stretched thin with the weekend activities, the Christian Easter holiday, the Passover holiday and last night’s “Big Bong Night,” has been subject to criticism from both the public and politicians over the perception that it has given in to Palestinian violence on the Temple Mount. As such, efforts have been made over the last few days to allow Jews to visit the mount despite the violence. Only small groups have been allowed to up for short, rather unsatisfying visits, as far as they’re concerned. A senior police official admitted that the insistence on opening the mount to Jews and tourists is a matter of principle, to show Palestinians that violence does not pay off.

For Temple Mount activists, Passover is considered the peak time of year, due to the commandment of ascending to the Temple and offering sacrifice, which they see as one of the most important commandments in Judaism. “If the prime minister would allow it, Jerusalem would be bustling with thousands of young lambs and goats being brought to sacrifice by Jews fulfilling this most important of commandments from the Torah,” read a statement jointly published by the temple movements. “It is the only commandment, aside from circumcision, that is punishable by karet [a kind of spiritual punishment equivalent to cutting off the soul from God]” adds journalist Arnon Segel, one of the Temple movements’ leaders.

As with every Passover, goat sacrifice “practice runs” took place in the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood of Jerusalem, and eight activists were arrested en route to the Temple Mount carrying a goat. In contrast to years past, this time it seems that the Palestinian side is taking rhetoric about changing the status quo rather seriously. The security establishment has also indicated that there is a connection between the breakdown of negotiations and the escalation of violence in Jerusalem in general, and the Temple Mount specifically. The relative weakness of Fatah in Jerusalem has also been a contributing factor. The police are well aware of the back and forth between the Jewish Temple activists and Islamic activists, “they are very attentive to every discussion in the Knesset, every committee meeting, as well as to websites for the Jewish movements, and they respond immediately,” said one police official.

Special riot police presence on the Temple Mount

Escalation has been slow but steady. Over the last year, police forces have entered the Temple Mount on every holiday. But this Passover, police have been on the Temple Mount every day, and there has been a significant increase in violence, as well as the use of firecrackers thrown at police. Every police entry to the Temple Mount includes almost 2,000 police personnel, and ends with 15 injured Palestinians, on average.

Since 2003, when the mount was reopened to visits from non-Muslims, no police personnel have entered the mosques there. The decision for police to enter the mosques, if it comes, will be made by senior Israeli leadership. In the meantime, the Palestinians have taken advantage of the Israeli reluctance to enter the mosques. Every day during this holiday, Palestinians have prepared for a battle of attrition against the police on the mount. They arrive in the evening, barricade themselves inside the AL Aqsa Mosque, equipped with stones and firecrackers, and wait until morning. The mosque doors are the flashpoint for violence – that’s where the crossfire happens, stones and firecrackers in exchange for tear gas and stun grenades.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
There is that term "religious freedom" being thrown around again (and again, and again). The Erev Rav State controlled media cleverly takes its losses, the advancement of Torah activists' goals and objectives, and attempts to turn them upside down.

When "religious freedom" is discussed, it ends up encompassing the "religious freedom" of everyone in Israel, including Jews who are not Torah-observant, Jews who are not Torah-observant, before who want everyone to believe that they are, and, or course, goym. But, not just Muslims, Druze, and Arab Christians, but also Hindus, Buddhists, Mormon, Bahai, and last, but certainly not least, messianic and Evangelical missionaries, bent on staking a claim on Jewish souls, as well Jewish Lands.

"Religious freedom" is used in an attempt to veer activists away from fighting for rightful, Jewish sovereignty over Har HaBayith (Temple Mount)

The bottom line?

Torah activists are making some headway, and the towers of the party line, Leftists and Mamlakhtim (diehard State loyalists) alike are running scared.

The last thing either of them wants is a truly, Jewish State, let alone a restored, Jewish Kingdom.

Police Prevents Passover Pot Protest

מוצש"ק חוהמ"פ תשע"ד

YNET: Police block roads to prevent marijuana legalization event
April 19, 2014, 11:12 PM

The Jerusalem District Police on Saturday closed the roads to the Wohl Rose Park following an event called "The Big Bong Night" a protest for the legalization of marijuana. The event, that was suppose to start at midnight, called on people to arrive at the park and smoke the drug.

On Friday, the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court accepted the police's request to ban the event. The police claimed that the organizers of the event didn't request a permit to assemble and that it intend to exercise the court's warrant and prevent protestors' entrance to the park.(Noam 'Dabul' Dvir)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Well, it is now 1:15 AM, and I have been hearing a yelling crowd for quite some time now. My guess is that it is coming from Yaffo Street, close to the Shuq. I cannot be sure due to the echoing common in this are, and I do not feel like going out to investigate.

For now, I will hazard a guess that the sounds of protest from outdoors have something to do with not being allowed to carry out their smoke-in, smoke-out, or whatever they call it, The Big Bong Night in the Rose Park, near the K'nesseth, a common venue for demonstrations.

According to Walla!, two of the organizers were arrested.

Marketing Christian Messianism

ג' חוהמ"פ תשע"ד

I cannot possibly bring myself to place the filthy, disgusting symbol of avodah zarah I saw yesterday being sold on anything from magnets and bracelets to bags.

So, I have depicted the three components of this symbol individually. It is bad enough, I put that fish symbol here.

The first two should be easily recognizable by Jews, the Menorah and the Magen David. The last one might not be.

The simplistic fish outline, sometimes seen with a dot for an eye, as I understand, is a very old symbol used by the first Christians as a secret code for identifying each other. I was taught that the symbol could be found on homes as an identifier. A friend of mine, raised as a Christian, and now a Jew by conversion, explained to be that one Christian would casually draw a curve with his foot in the dirt. If the person he was with understood the gesture, he would do the same, drawing a second curve, and completing the drawing of the secret fish symbol. Then, they would know that they were in safe company.

The fish symbol represents the Christian false deity/false messiah, yet certainly not the first religion to apply the symbol of the fish to its mythological savior figure. The Babylonians thought of the idea, long before the Christians.

In the symbol I saw yesterday being hocked to Christian tourists, gathering in Israel now for their various festivals of avodah zarah filth, eg. Easter, combine the three symbols I have depicted here separately.

On the bag I saw, and two word quote from Christian mythology, "Grafted In" was included, with the textual citation. The fish "grafted in" to the Menorah and the Magen David is representative of this grafting into Israel concept. Of course, it is much more like digging their claws in and hanging on for dear life, as we try to shake them off. Smiles and "monetary support" make it virtually impossible for many in the so-called right-wing, Zionist camps, both religious and not religious varieties, to shake them off.

They do not even see the Christian claws as a problem, but rather of great benefit to them.
...nor shall you take a bribe; for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous. (Deut. 16:19)
I have spoken to vendors have this symbol. Calling it problematic would be a gross understatement. Some claim not to have know what was exactly. After all, it cleverly disguised, as is the result of Esau's sneakiness.

Others play dumb, and still others do not see a problem with making money off of the tourists, by selling them souvenirs they desire, albeit based on lies.

Either way you slice, such filth, such messages of joining with Israel, in order to brainwash us into their cult of false deity worship, or false messiah, or whatever they are calling it these days, in order to make it more palatable for us, has no place in Eretz Yisra'el. It does nothing less than add to the pollution of avodah zarah, already present here.

The grafting is no longer about missionizing and attempts as converting Jews, and has not been for quite some time. It is about finding new and effective ways and means to sneak into Israel, stay, and eventually usurp inheritance.

Esau wants his birthright back, and throughout history, he has adapted and changed strategies according to his needs, in order to achieve his nefarious, anti-Torah goals.

Safed Stabbing: Exclusive Report!

ערב פסח תשע"ד

YWN: Man Stabbed to Death in a Tzfas Shul
April 13, 2014

In a tragic event, a machlokes between three people in the “Macharov” (מכארוב) Shul on Bar Yochai Street in Tzfas ended up in a fatal stabbing. When EMS personnel arrived they found a man in his 50s bleeding to death from stab wounds. The attacker is described as a homeless man in his 30s, wearing a black yarmulke.

The victim was in traumatic cardiac arrest and resuscitation began as he was prepared for transport. He was pronounced dead in Ziff Hospital.

Reports from the scene indicate the attacker stabbed the victim seven times with a knife. No one was able to stop him. A number of mispallalim reportedly tried, albeit without success. A number of mispallalim sustained light injuries, apparently in an effort to stop the attacker. At least others were treated for light injuries in Ziff Hospital.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
According to my source from Tzfath, a friend of the stabbing victim, the hero of the day was actually a heroine.

A local rabbi's wife entered the men's section, and clobbered the attacker from behind with a chair.

As we enter this Pesah (Passover), with this horribly unfortunate tragedy, we can recall the unfortunate tragedy of those left behind in Egypt, killed during the plague of darkness. Yet, we can also remember the various heroic acts of Am Yisra'el before, during, and after our departure from Egypt, women such as Yocheved, Miriam, and Bath Paroah, as much much as the men.

Israel Cuts Off Talks with "Palestinians" OR PM Netanyahu Grows A Backbone

י"ד לחודש הראשון תשע"ד

I was not sure where to nip and tuck this report, so that you wouldn't get bored with it. The dots needing to be connected are buried too deep in the shmutz. So, maybe just skim the Esser Agaroth (2¢) red-colored highlights. Then cut to the commentary.
Bloomberg.Net: Israeli Ministers Cut Off Meetings With Palestinians
Calev Ben-David, April 9, 2014
Prime Minister
Binyamin Netanyahu
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered cabinet ministers to stop meeting with their Palestinian counterparts, a government official said, hours after the U.S. blamed Israel for the breakdown of peace talks.
Israeli government officials have been told to refrain from meeting their Palestinian counterparts because the Palestinians violated commitments made under the peace talks, the official said. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to discuss diplomacy for the record.
U. S. Secretary of State John Kerry
Yesterday, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry charged that the announcement of 708 new Jewish homes in east Jerusalem derailed eight months of Mideast peace talks. Testifying before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, he said the sides were closer to resolving differences over a delayed Israeli release of Palestinian prisoners when “700 settlement units were announced in Jerusalem and, poof, that was sort of the moment.”
While Kerry said both sides took “unhelpful actions,” some Israeli officials fumed at his suggestion that Israel’s April 1 announcement of settlement construction brought the talks to collapse.
Naftali Bennett
Religious Affairs and
Commerce Minister
“Israel will never apologize for building in Jerusalem,” Economy Minister Naftali Bennett, whose Jewish Home party is the third-biggest faction in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ruling coalition, said in a Facebook post. “Construction in Jerusalem is no ‘poof,’ construction in Jerusalem is Zionism,” said Bennett, whose pro-settlement faction controls the Housing Ministry and opposes any peace deal that creates a Palestinian state.
‘Crystal Clear’
Shortly after Kerry spoke to lawmakers, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki issued a statement saying that he was “crystal clear that both sides have taken unhelpful steps and at no point has he engaged in a blame game.”

Nimer Hamad, an adviser to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, told Voice of Palestine Radio that Israeli punitive actions against the Palestinians “are intended as a message to the Americans because of John Kerry’s statements to Congress.”
More than eight months of talks, accompanied by barrages of mutual recriminations, went off the rails last week after Israel didn’t go through with the last of four promised releases of Palestinian prisoners, then announced the settlement plans. The Palestinians, who want to establish a future capital in east Jerusalem, retaliated by resuming their statehood campaign outside negotiations, applying in the name of the state of Palestine to join 15 international accords.
Applications Intact
“The Palestinians will not withdraw their application to join UN organizations,” Hamad said. “Israel is responsible for such moves because we had commitments and Israel didn’t honor them.”
The breakdown came as the sides approached the April 29 expiry of the nine months of negotiations they consented to, leaving Kerry’s efforts to extend his peace mission in tatters. His original aspiration when he brought Israelis and Palestinians back to the negotiating table in July after nearly three years was to reach a final accord by the end of this month.
Kerry is due to meet today in Washington with Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman, who said last week that “Israel has done all that it can to reach an agreement with the Palestinians, and the ball is now in their court.” Liberman has been in New York this week for a conference.
Kerry’s efforts have received some support in Netanyahu’s government from parties who support talks to reach a two-state solution with the Palestinians.
Funny,...the "Palestinians" do not seem to want a two-state solution.
‘Double Game’
Environment Minister Amir Peretz, speaking today on Army Radio, accused Bennett’s Jewish Home faction of “playing a double game” by trying to sabotage Kerry’s initiative from within the government.
“They don’t stop trying to do everything they can to throw cold water on the process, if possible to blow it up, in order that the people of Israel completely lose all hope,” said Peretz, whose Hatenuah party is headed by Israel’s chief negotiator, Justice Minister Tzipi Livni.
Kerry told the Senate panel that leaders on both sides said they want the negotiations to continue, and U.S. mediators are talking to them.
“I’m not going to suggest anything is imminent, but one always has to remain hopeful in this very difficult, complicated process,” Kerry said.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
It is actually not at all difficult, nor is it complicated. It quite simple.

The Almighty gave Am Yisra'el, Eretz Yisra'el (The Land of Israel).

Yishma'elim (Arabs) want to kill us and take it for themselves.

Esau (The West) wants it for itself. Remember The Crusades?? John Kerry is now one of their main captains. The Christians believe that they are entitled to our Land, and that they have usurped us.

Meanwhile, various faction leader within the Erev Rav continue their battles against the Torah, either forsaking the Land completely, or holding it and it current control by the State of Israel in higher regard than He Who granted it to us in the first place.

Enter Bennett who means well. He is trying to "explain" our position. Yet, when you present even only 90 percent of the truth, you are actually hiding 10 percent of the truth, and that hidden 10 percent might just be what could have saved the day.

Now, welcome Prime Minister Netanyahu into the picture. He says no to more releases of prisoners,...at
least for now he does. And, so for the moment he seems to have grown a backbone.

We seem to be the only people on this earth bending over backwards to please anyone and everyone, except for the Only One who matters, even up to the point of releasing murderers with our people's blood on their hands.

This is just insane.

Jews Back To Germany

YNET: Tragic past, rebirth in Berlin's Jewish community
Upsurge in Jewish population in German capital has spurred tourism to an array of monuments, synagogues, museums related to Jewish history.

Associated Press, April 8, 2014

Rykestraße Synagogue
East Berlin, Renovated, 2007
The epicenter of the Holocaust, the city where Hitler signed the death warrants of 6 million Jews, seems an unlikely candidate for the world's fastest growing Jewish community.

But despite this stigma of Nazism, Berlin's dynamic, prosperous present and its rich, pre-World War II Jewish past initially attracted an influx of Jews from the former Soviet Union. The community has kept growing with the arrival of thousands of Israelis and smaller numbers of often young immigrants from Australia, France, the United States and elsewhere.

And this upsurge in the Jewish population - believed to be more than 40,000 - has also spurred tourism to an array of monuments, synagogues, museums and workaday places related to Jewish history and present life in Germany's capital.

In fact you can literally trip over this history while walking the streets and looking down on some of the 2,800 shiny brass tiles embedded in sidewalks by artist Gunter Demnig. These palm-sized "Stolpersteine," or stumbling stones, bear the names of those murdered by the Nazis, and are placed in front of their onetime homes.

Like these stones, Berlin's most prominent Jewish sites are connected to the tragic past, but a healthy antidote and probably the best way to begin a tour is a visit to the Jewish Museum, a multi-layered panorama of 1,000 years of Jewish culture, lore and history in Germany. And it's housed in one of the city's most striking contemporary buildings, a jagged structure coated with silvery zinc plates and punctured by slanted windows slits. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Israeli PM Binyamin Netanyahu
"A picture is worth a thousand words."

Now, the above piece does not exactly suggest that we forget the Holocaust, nor Germany's part in it. However, it most certainly seems to praise the rebirth and growth of the Jewish Community in Germany.

For a Jew to go back to Germany, and re-settle it is like going back to visit Egypt during Passover, even more so for a Jew who has already been residing in his only true Homeland of Israel.

Originating from the Associated Press, and scooped up by Erev Rav controlled YNET, both parties want to see the de-Judaizing and eventual de-Jewification of Eretz Yisra'el (Land of Israel). So, this piece, and its praise, really do not surprise.

Various goyshe countries and groups desire Eretz Yisra'el for their own, while the Erev Rav continues its battle against the Torah, doing everything in its power to prevent the arrival of Ge'ulah (Redemption).

True, the Erev Rav will eventually fail. However, we simply cannot wait around for the the final results, without doing anything at all. Those of us who can learn Torah, must learn. The rest of us should learn what we can, but also take additional actions. And, of course, we should all pray.

Otherwise, the process leading up to Ge'ulah will be much more painful than it has to be.

Naftali Bennett: Right and Wrong, but Mostly Wrong

מוצש"ק פר' אחרי מות/הגדול תשע"ד
Arutz 7: 'Get Me the Votes and I'll Annex Judea and Samaria'
Economics Minister says he needs 40 Knesset seats to annex Judea-Samaria; 'We're not going to disappear to satisfy their desires'.
Moshe Cohen, March 31, 2014
Speaking to students at Ono Academic College Monday, Economics Minister Naftali Bennett said that if it were up to him, he would annex Judea and Samaria and impose Israeli law there. “Give me 40 seats in the Knesset and I will take care of it,” he said in response to students' questions.
Bennett spent most of the session answering questions, many of which were about the negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. He predicted that the talks with the PA would soon fall apart, “for a simple reason – they do not recognize Israel. We must get used to the idea that we will be able to live here despite our disagreements with the Palestinians and their supporters. But we must be unified. We are not going to disappear to satisfy their desires,” he said.
Despite the aura of crisis surrounding the talks and the perceived threat to tens of thousands of residents of Judea and Samaria who would be uprooted from their homes if Israel and the PA signed a deal, Bennett said that things were looking up in the region.

“If you go to the Barkan industrial zone near Ariel in central Samaria, you see that there are many businesses where Jews and Arabs work together. The secret to this coexistence is that when people are working and earning money, they realize how petty the political issues are.”
Bennett added that if it were up to him, he would remove roadblocks in Judea and Samaria. “We need to enhance security with intelligence and intervention, not barriers – and we know how to do this,” he said.
Bennett also said that he was working to ensure that the government did not release terrorists. “We are in a dangerous cycle, where we are being told we have to release terrorists in order to continue negotiations,” he said. “I have conducted many negotiations in my lifetime and I have never been told that I have to pay up front in order to talk, but this is what PA chief Mahmoud Abbas wants.”
Regarding Abbas' threats to take his case to the UN if Israel does not consent to release more terrorists, Bennett said that “Abbas should stop threatening us, as he is alive only because we protect him. Without the IDF, he will not survive,” Bennett added.
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
I have been contemplating this report for a while now. But, it is really not as complicated as some would like to view it.

1. First of all, why are we protecting Abbas? Because we know him, and are worried about ending up with someone worse? This man wants us dead, and he wants our Land,...ALL of our Land!

2. Coexistence, with the Barkan industrial area as an example? How many of those Arab workers are spies, fishing for information about where their bosses live? How many are doing reconnaissance? How many will be "activated" during the next Intifada?

Oh, yes! We have certainly seen how well coexistence has worked for us!

Anyway, the only coexistence in the Torah, the only coexistence which should have any meaning whatsoever to the Jewish People, allows for those who follow the 7 Misswoth B'nei No'ah, and who are accepted to live here when the Misswath mid'Oraitha of Yovel is in effect.

Murder, and not bringing murders to justice violate to of these seven. Coexistence, indeed!

3. Look at this map of Bennett's "plan," is this what he means when he says "annex?"

Then what's the point? I mean, seriously?

This is the same recycled plan from the old, washed-up Techiya Party: "Keep the Land, but perish the thought of throwing out the Arabs."

Former Minister Rabbi Benny Elon later came up with a similar plan of Arab, autonomous "cantons," and land exchange.

This wishy-washy approach must stop. The only chance we have that it will, is when we finally stop worrying more about how the goyim (US, EU, UN, international community, etc.) see us, than how we view ourselves, not to mention how The Almighty, who promised ALL of this Land to us in the first place, views us.

Bennett makes one or two good points, but the way he thinks we should implement them is nothing less than silly game-playing.

This is not a game. This is not a dress rehearsal. This is real life. As Jews we are supposed to be living these lives of ours according to halakhah (Torah Law),...

...and not making it up as we go along.

How Much Longer Will The Almighty Tolerate Arab-Israel "Peace Talks?"

י' לחודש הראשון תשע"ד

U. S. Secretary of State John Kerry
Arutz 7: Kerry Blames Israel
Kerry tells Senate 'Israel didn't release Palestinian prisoners...announced settlements in Jerusalem, and poof, that was it.'

Ari Yashar, April 8, 2014

US Secretary of State John Kerry spoke before the Senate on Tuesday, where he blamed Israel for the breakdown of peace talks last week.

Prime Minister
Binyamin Netanyahu
"Israel didn't release the Palestinian prisoners on the day they were supposed to be freed, and another day passed, and another day, and then another 700 settlement units were announced in Jerusalem, and 'poof'...that was sort of the moment," remarked Kerry before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

The fourth and final batch of terrorist releases, meant as a "gesture" for the talks, was set for March 29 but put on hold given the total lack of progress in talks, and the widespread protest to the unpopular move. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu reportedly told Kerry the release could topple his government. (cont.)

(Tip: Jews News)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Well, Prime Minister Netanyahu has certainly gotten that right! Joe Israeli on the street is simply not going to stand for more anymore Arab murderers to be released. Perhaps he also paid attention to Pollard's move to keep himself out of any heinous deal.
Kerry simply noted before the senate that Abbas's move [to join 15 UN agencies] was "clearly unhelpful." He added "it is the responsibility of the two sides to make decisions," noting that "both sides took negative steps."
Gee! I am sure that the Arabs are shaking in their boots at such admonishment! Whereas on the Jewish side of things, when Kerry referred to "settlement units," he did not mean Hevron or K'far Tapu'ah. He meant the South Jerusalem neighborhood (That's right! "Neighborhood") of Giloh, as if that matters.

Regarding Israel's demand that it be recognized as a Jewish state, Kerry had this to say:
"The government of the United States and the president supports the notion of Israel being defined as a Jewish state," Kerry noted. "We believe that that should happen. But when it happens, and how it happens, has to be part of the negotiations. It's not going to happen in the beginning."
...as if he really believes that the Arabs will change their minds??

I still cannot decide whether Kerry is delusion, evil, or both.

Probably both.

Nevertheless, it is the Israeli Government who is to blame for even allowing any compromise on our Divinely granted Homeland.

And we are to blame for allowing them to.
Yehezqel 36 - (the haftarah for Parashath Parah)
22 Therefore say to the house of Israel: Thus says the Lord GOD: I do not this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name, which you have profaned among the nations, from where you came. 23 And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD, says the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. 24 For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.
How much longer will The Holy One, Blessed Be He tolerate the "peace talks," which are nothing less than a desecration of His Holy Name?

He brought back to our home, and this is how we repay Him, by "negotiating" over it?

Setting Precedents for Arabs to Secede from Israel

ח' לחודש הראשון תשע"ד

Events during the last 30 years have included the shift of borders, according to the will of various peoples, and how they have identified ethnically.

Even the United Nations' original Partition Plan of Israel was based on the demographic data of the time. The lines drawn dividing Pakistan and India, and India and Bangladesh, were similarly based.

The constituents of Yugoslavia broke up along ethnic, albeit a made-up country in the first place, and a mish-mash of various different peoples in the first place. the end.

Czechoslovakia broke up into its constituent Czech and Slovak peoples and territories, as soon as the opportunity arose.

Back to collapsing Yugoslavia, Kosovo's autonomy was not sufficient for it, so it took more. Even "loyal" Montenegro finally broke away in the end.

The struggles of Muslim Chechnya and Dagastan have yet to be resolved.

Ethnically Russian, South Osetia seceded from Georgia.

And now, we have Crimea, and possibly all of eastern Ukrainian breaking away from The Ukraine. Whether they end up under Russian control or not is irrelevant, as they identify as the same people or ethnicity.

Israeli President Shimon Peres and Russian President Vladimir  Putin

Meanwhile, Arabs in the Galilee have been watching these events closely. If Europeans can get away with it, then why can't they? The murmuring spreads...

Were all of the previous events orchestrated for the sake of sending "Israeli" Arabs the hint? Sounds too much like a crazy conspiracy theory, even to me. And yet, one of the roots of this issue can be traced back to the United Nations. In 1947, they had a plan for borders in this area of Israel. Even though it was the Jews who said fine, and the Arabs who said no, the United Nations has never forgotten nor forgiven the Jews for taking what they have always considered more than their fair share.

I believe that the United Nations will be very please with themselves when they get their way, and have will then be able to say, "See? We told you so. Do NOT mess with the U. N.!"

Of course, the Jew-hating U. N. would not mind in the least if Arabs ended up taking more than their fair share. Serves us right!

Exposure to cockamamie ideas such as Lieberman's "Land Exchange" plan, emboldens Arabs even further. See? Even right of center members of the Israeli Government see their own countries borders as being flexible,... not carved in stone, as it were.

Naftali Bennett's plan for Arab autonomy does as well, even though it has been presented, recycled, and re-presented many times over.

Israel's borders are to be determined by The Holy One, Blessed He, alone. We fight for the Land. We retain what we have, win more, or lose parts, according to The Almighty's Will.

Did we fight enough against the giveaways of the Sinai and Azza? Apparently not, as neither are currently in our hands.

Why are we, including those of us who walk around in public with head coverings, so desperate to chop up our Land which was Divinely promised to us?

We even won back the northern parts of Asher and Naftali's ancient, tribal territories, more commonly known to the outside world as Southern Lebanon, up to the Litani River.* But, then we retreated, effectively giving back which had been handed to us on a silver platter.

These kinds of conflicts over which nationality belongs to which piece of land in the world.may be good for the goyim, just like democracy may be their preferred manner of fulfilling one of their seven misswoth, that of setting up courts.

But, we are a people, separate and distinct. Neither are for us. Whether discussing the borders of Land, or how is should be administrated, it has already been determined for us, and communicated to us.

Eretz Yisra'el belongs to Am Yisra'el, not to the Arabs (Yishma'el), and not to the Christians (Esau), sneaking in through the back door, ready to khop (grab) Land at the soonest opportunity.

Much has been reported on the so-called demographic issues in our region. However numbers are irrelevant to the Arabs and to Jew-hating "international community." The Arabs residing in Israel have enough precedents built up to form not only the Islamic Republic of the Galilee, but the Bedouin Principality of the Negev, both sitting adjacent to  to the Oligarchy of "Palestine," three additional made up countries in the world.

Until we, as a People finally stop expressing such virulent lack of gratitude, stand up, and declare, once and for all that this is our Land, and not anyone else's, and its borders are not negotiable, we will always have less than 100 percent security that it will remain so.

*Opinions vary on the exact location of Eretz Yisra'el's norther border.

Jewish-Israeli Blog Round-Up, AKA Haveil Havalim, Metzorah 5774 Is Up!

Neturei Karta: The New Settlers

ז' לחודש הראשון תשע"ד

Rafi saw this reported on the haredi site Hadrei Haredim in Hebrew. So, rather than go back and translate it myself, I will post his summary in its entirety, and comment on it and the issues presented. The highlighting is mine.
Life In Israel: Yeshiva Shaarei Ramallah - won't be opening anytime soon
April 3, 2014
This is really a non-issue, simply because the idea did not pan out, so I should not even be mentioning it.. but I found it funny enough that someone would actually try this that I wanted to point it out.

There has been talk about the possibility of Jews remaining in their homes in Judea and Samaria even in the event of a peace deal that would give land to the Palestinians. Some say they would be willing to live under Palestinian rule...

That was all a theoretical discussion. When PM Netanyahu even raised the possibility in a public forum, after a diplomatic snafu between him and Habayit Hayehudi, it became clear that it was so theoretical that it was only even said in order to throw some pressure onto the Palestinian side, but is not a realistic possibility.

Well, it looks like some people might actually consider it as a realistic option, if they could work out the details.
According to a report on Bechadrei, some rosh yeshiva from Yerushalayim has initiated a plan to establish a yeshiva in the Palestinian Authority territory. As mentioned, the plan has been shelved - for now - as it has been deemed to be not possible at this time.
Yisrael Meir Hirsch, of the Neturei Karta, revealed that he had helped a rosh yeshiva (unnamed) put together such a plan to move his yeshiva and students to the Palestinian territories. The purpose of such a move would be to avoid the Israeli draft issues that will now affect the haredi yesivas.
Hirsch says he looked into the option, but at this time there is nobody and no body within the Palestinian Authority that is willing to take responsibility for the security of such a yeshiva.

The plan has been put on hold for now. Maybe at some future time when the Palestinian State might become more official, it could possibly be raised again as an option.

With Yeshivat Shaarei Ramallah off the table, Hirsch decided instead to advise the rosh yeshiva on his alternative options for getting his students out of the claws of the IDF draft. He told the rosh yeshiva that they should go to the draft board and declare that they do not recognize the State of Israel and its borders, as an occupying force. That, Hirsch says, would get them off the hook of the draft. He says this is how the anarchists on the left get out of the draft, and this is what should be done.

I wonder what ramifications there are for making such a statement in an official capacity.. Perhaps it means the yeshiva won't receive any budgets for such students that so declare their positions. Perhaps such boys would be ineligible for the various welfare payments and Bituach Leumi and whatever else the State of Israel gives its citizens, whether haredi or not (child payments, unemployment, stipends for kollel, etc.). Doing so might move such people into the realm of those who refuse to take money from the state...
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Interesting...

So, the self-proclaimed, anti-Zionist Haredi Jewish group, Neturei Karta would turn into settlers,...sort of, and without the kevanna (intent). So, is this some form of middah k'neged middah (measure for measure-justice)?

It seems to me that they still value living in Eretz Yisra'el. As I have tried to tell people, time and time again, the only differences between the so-called "Religious Zionists" and Neturei Karta are the how, when, and by whom.

Are we to come to Israel now, build it up, and take possession of it?

Or are we to wait for Mashi'ah to come first, and do all of the work?

Neturei Karta still believes that Eretz Yisra'el is the homeland of the Jewish People, and that all goyim (non-Jews), not fulfilling certain requirements to live here, will not be allowed to live here.

Surprise, surprise...

Even the venerated Satmar Rebbe ztz"l, Rabbi Yo'el said that the proper place for the performance of misswoth (Torah commandments) is Eretz Yisra'el. We are just not supposed to come here en masse,...yet.

Interesting that the deal breakers appear to include the lack of "Palestinian" interest and the lack of security concerns being addressed.

"Palestinians" do not have a place on their map, even for Neturei Karta.

Gee. I guess the "Palestinians" just see Neturei Karta as Jews, just like any other Jews, and do not want them around, just like they do not want settlers around, and for that matter do not want left-wing, self-identified "allies" around in Tel-Aviv either.

You see? We are all just Jews to them.

Danny Danon: Watch Me Pull a Christian out of my Hat/!דני דנון: תסתכל אליי כשאני מוציא נוצרי מהכובע שלי!

 ד' לחודש הראשון תשע"ד

More "Palestinian" prisoners are expected to be included in additional, future "deals for nothing," due to a very pushy and Jew-hating, U. S. Secretary of State John Kerry, and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's perpetual begging and boot-licking of the U. S. Government.

Enter Danny Danon, Deputy Minister of Defense, fellow member of the Prime Minister's Likud Party, and previous rival for party leadership in the last primaries.

Danon gets a "B-" for grabbing the publicity opportunity by the,...proverbial horns, trying to look like a Zionist hero, with his eye on the prize of the Israeli premiership, while squeezing in some serious disrespect for most all of his potential competition at the same time. I suppose that the ultimate disrespect was toward MK Moshe Feiglin, by ignoring him, his unabashedly strong convictions, not to mention the kippah on his head.

Has Danon so quickly forgotten that he was not the one to receive the second highest percentage of votes in the Likud Primaries; it was Mosh Feiglin.

I do not believe that Danon would have the overall support of the current government, and would need to work toward forming a new one, and win Likud primaries first. In other words, he would have to bring down the current government, and he would need to go after Prime Minister Netanyahu very hard.

But, if Danon could win the Likud leadership position, or at least garner a high enough percentage of votes in the primaries to raise his relevance in the Party, what would a Danon Likud Party look like?

MK Danon, who has recently been working to promote [IDF] recruitment within the Christian community, is expected to recommend the passing of legislation on this issue . "Regulating Act funding will help in the eradication of the harassment of recruits Christians" (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
The point of this piece. Of course, I have no doubt that Western Christians who volunteer to serve in the IDF, either because of "love" for Israel and/or a way to support a later application for Israeli citizenship, will benefit as well.
Jewish Israel: Messianic Calev Myers and Likud MK Danny Danon form new Knesset Caucus

Ellen Horowitz, December 9, 2011

When they hand out the "wise men of Chelm awards" for this year, Likud MK Danny Danon may walk off with the lion's share. He and messianic/evangelical attorney Calev Myers have just founded a Knesset caucus to battle international anti-Semitism.

Putting Myers at the helm of such a venture would be something akin to appointing fallen White House Press Correspondent Helen Thomas as director of the Anti-Defamation League…only it's worse. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
We must remember that no matter how "heroic" Danon may seem, his entrance into a more powerful position means Christian influence entering a more powerful position with him, a most disturbing thought.
MK Danny Danon (Likud) and John Hagee (Jeezer worshipper)

We must not forget just how deep in with these people Danon is, including, but not limited to encouraging Christian immigration to Israel

Meanwhile, Israeli President Shimon Peres is laughing all the way to wherever he is on his way,...while we are distracted, and looking the other way.

But, of course, this last part is only speculation on my part.
