The Sun Lion tipped me off to this report....
iHLS: Soon Israeli Police to Visit Citizen HomesOf course, this is all for "our own protection." I don't know whether to become even angrier than I already am with the Israeli Government, or at myself and my fellow Israeli citizens for allowing this to get as far as it has.
Natalie Novitski, June 19, 2014
Did police officers visit your home without your knowledge and took some of your possessions? In the very near future the answer to that question might be a definite “yes”. A new legislation proposed by the government aims to allow Israeli police to covertly search suspects’ homes without their presence or knowledge. A clause even allows taking photographs and removing objects as evidence. When the investigation ends, even if there was no indictment, suspects will probably never know that the visit took place. (cont.)
This article is definitely worth reading in its entirety. I cannot make heads of tails of this site. Is it about glorifying Israeli security technology? Or just objectively report the results of its investigations, as was apparently done in this piece.
Americans should find this familiar, pushing the limits, chipping away at your Fourth Amendment Constitutional protections, thanks to the Patriot Act.
In any event, this revelation about the Israeli police being allowed "legally" to do this or that should not surprise anyone.
The Israeli police have already been responsible for entrapping settlers, beating up settlers, beating up Haredim, kicking Jews out of their homes, and all with the court's consent.
So, why should sneaking into a Jew's house be a surprise to anyone? Who believes that this has not already been happening? Those of you who do not are simply fools,...or worse, "sheeple."
Meanwhile,....and you all should have know that this was coming...
Ha'Aretz: Hundreds of Israelis decline biometric ID cards, as program gets underway
Orr Hirschauge and Ilan Lior, Jul. 9, 2013
Contentious national project will remain voluntary for two years as authorities examine its process; at completion of pilot program, it will be determined whether to make biometric ID mandatory for every Israeli citizen. (cont.)
For several more articles from [eve] the Left-wing/statist Ha'Aretz news source, conduct a search for biometric pilot. Or just Google biometric pilot Israel.

(Translation: I will not obey the biometric legislation, and am ready to be imprisoned over it. )
Don't worry that "they" will find out about your less than supportive feelings toward "their" innovations.
"They" already know.
This is part of the NWO criteria creeping across the world. (UN, NATO et al). This and much much much more is already occurring in America.
ReplyDeleteWe might be looking at this some day ch"vs
ReplyDeleteMost Americans don’t seem to care that the TSA is fondling thousands of women and children in airports all over the nation every single day.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that the NSA is recording billions of our phone calls and emails.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that our police are becoming increasingly militarized. As I wrote about the other day, there were only about 3,000 SWAT raids in the United States back in 1980. But today, there are more than 80,000 SWAT raids per year in this country.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that a baby was recently maimed for life when a police officer threw a grenade into his crib during a SWAT team raid.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that police recently tasered a man 18 times. In fact, it barely made a blip on the national news.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that the Obama administration has discussed making gun owners wear RFID tracking bracelets.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that a new California law would allow police to confiscate guns based on accusation alone.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that our public schools have been transformed into “Big Brother” indoctrination centers.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that the U.S. border is considered to be a “Constitution-free zone” where officials can freely grab your computer and copy your hard drive.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that people are being sent to prison for collecting rain water on their own property.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that facial recognition technology is being installed all over the nation.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that the Obama administration has expressed a desire to establish a national DNA database.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that our cell phones are essentially high tech surveillance devices.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that if you type the wrong thing into a search engine that the police could come knocking on your door.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that local governments all over the country are now using automated license plate readers to scan our license plates.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that the federal government is grabbing hundreds of thousands of acres of private land all over the country.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that Bible-believing Christians are regularly identified as “religious extremists” in official government training materials.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that the federal government has identified dozens of different categories of Americans as “potential terrorists“.
Most Americans don’t seem to care that we have a president that is treating the Constitution like a piece of toilet paper.
@Nahama, Perhaps the apathy toward your list of issues is because Americans have more pressing issues, like medical insurance premiums that have been allowed to rise at 10-15% per year for the last two decades.
ReplyDeleteIf you are rich enough to be flying, do you think the majority should care about your problems when you don't list any issues they care most about?
Compare your FUD list with the fact that the cheapest monthly health insurance premium for a 60 year old couple is $1200/month and covers nothing till they have spent $6000 more, and many life saving medications cost them several hundred dollars a month.
And as far as your worry about keeping your gun, most Americans worry about being able to buy a few rounds at the bar, rather than at the gun counter at Walmart.
Neshama & tovlitoda,
ReplyDeleteThanks to both of you for commenting.
At the risk of sounding shmaltzing, I think you're both making good points.
But,...
...as far as flying goes, all you need is a one way ticket to Israel.
I'm not sure where tovlitoda is, or what your circumstances. I know that it is not as simply as just getting on a plane, as I would like everyone to think it is.
But, I do hope that you are working toward that end goal. (For all I know, you're already here.)
The U. S. is not our country. It;s the land of our exile. We so easily forget that exile is supposed to be a punishment.
