מוצש״ק פר׳ ואתחנן/נחמו תשע״ד
In response to supporters of Hamas, critical of the children being killed in Gaza, I have been leaving the following response, or something similar:
So we are supposed to risk the lives of our children in order to save the children, Hamas is using as human shields?
We are supposed to stop defending ourselves, and allow Hamas to continue firing rockets at us and our children?
Is this what you would do in the same situation with your children?
The more Jewish children that die, the better? (חו״ח)
We are just supposed to lie down, and let them kill us? (חו״ח)
The bottom-line is that the "international community" hates Jews, and would like us to just that, roll over and die. This has nothing to do with Israel or the Palestinian Authority.
Our tradition teaches us from over 1,900 years ago, that Esau (the West) hates Ya'aqov (Jews), and that Yishma'el (Arabs/Muslims) hates Ya'aqov (רשב״י).
Nothing has changed since then.
Let us hope that members of the Israeli government, not to mention Jews around the world, finally wakes up to this fact.
Well I think the point the gentiles who criticize Israel are making is that the very existence of the State of Israel is illegitimate, hence the Palestinians have the right to fight it. So under this line of thinking, the Palestinians have every right to resist and Israel does not have the right to defend itself.
ReplyDeleteAnd you know what? They have a point. Most Israelis are rootless and have no right to live in this Land.
When the day comes that we have real Jewish leadership the gentiles will no longer criticize us for fighting the arabs; they won't even dare to as much as look at us the wrong way. But you get the leaders you deserve and the criminal public who expelled us from Gush Katif absolutely deserve this crappy leadership.
Paragraph #1: OK. I get that.
ReplyDeleteParagraph #2: Not sure if there is a halakhic justification for this statement. And, I hope that you know by now that halakhah is one of my main focal point. And I believe in not waiting around for it to become a focal point in the "state" of Israel. Rather, I believe in informing as many as I can that halakhah needs to be the basis for our existence, not just what we eat and what we do or do not do on Shabbath.
Paragraph #3: I wonder if this will be true what you say, because we will actually be [at least trying to] follow HaShem's instructions. Thus, both on a pragmatic AND spiritual level, the goyim might just start changing their attitudes.
Regarding the last sentence, I wish this were not true, but it is.
Just please be careful with you're use of pronouns, because I didn't vote for them. (wink)
