טוב, אז לא נראה לי שהצעות כאלה לשיעורי תורה ישפיעו לשכנים שלי לגרש אותי מהעיר, אני נזהרתי מאוד בבחירת המילים שלי. וניסחתי את רוב ההצעות האלה בצורת שאלה. כמובן, לשאול שאלות הפך להיות פעילות מסוכנת יותר ויותר כיום. אין צריך לומר, שהצעות כאלה עבור שיעורי תורה בהחלט יגרמו להרים כמה גבות, ואפילו יעצבנו אותם קצת.

בעצם אני לא מדבר על איזה ישוב מסוימת, אלא על קבוצה הולכת וגדלה של ישובים, גם בארץ וגם חוצה לארץ.

אני רוצה לדעת מה אתם חושבים. לכן, נא לרשום את ההערות שלכם למטה.

שמירת הנגיעה: חובה או אופציה?

צניעות יהודית: הלכות מסוימות או מנהגים המשתנים בכל דור ודור?

האם יש פירוש אחר של המילים רבעבעצין או רבנית חוץ מ"אשתו של הרב?"

שמירת תורה ומצוות: ההרגשות שלי נוגעות בעניין? 

האם הנוצרים עובדי עבודה זרה? זה משנה?

הנה כמה הצעות לשיעורי תורה, המבוססות על תורתו של הרב יוסף סולובייצ'יק זצ״ל ועל פרשנויותיו ״היצירתית״:

יש התר לפיקוח ילודה שאינו קושיר לפיקוח נפש או סכנת נפשות?

דו שיח בין דתי: הרבה רבנים משתתפים בדבר כזה, אז מה הבעיה?

להיות דתי מודרני: האם אנחנו מתאימים את התורה למודרניות, או מתאימים את המודרניות לתורה?

הנה כמה הצעות לשיעורי תורה, המבוססות על תורתו של הרב קוק זצ״ל, ועל ״היצירתית״:

המצוה לשמור על גבולות ארץ ישראל: האם אפשר לקיים את מצוה הזאת רק באמצעות שירות צה"ל?

פקודת צה"ל הנוגדת בתורה: האם יש דבר כזה?
(רמז: נראה לי שהרב אברהם שפירא זצ"ל, ראש ישיבת מרכז הרב קוק חשב ככה, יחד עם רבים אחרים.) 

האם יש סתירות בין חוקי התורה לחוקי מדינת ישראל?
(אני באמת צריך לשאול את השאלה הזאת? נראה לי שכן.)

האם יהודה והשומרון שייכים לעם ישראל או אנחנו פולשים על אדמות הישמעאלים (הערבים)? האם התשובה באמת מסובכת?
(רמז: לא, זאת לא מסובכת בכלל. ראו את המפה למטה.)

מה המקור של הציונות? הרצל או התורה?
(לצערי, שיעור כזה הוא ממש הכרחי.)

OK, so maybe these suggestions for Torah classes would not really get me kicked out of town, mainly because I was rather careful with my word choice, as well as phrasing most of these suggestions as questions. Of course, asking questions has also become an increasingly dangerous activity these days.

I'm not actually talking about any town in particular, but rather an increasingly growing group of towns, both within Israel and outside of Israel.

Needless to say, these suggestions for Torah classes will definitely raise some eyebrows, not to mention, raise a little ire.

(Hint: Rabbi Avraham Shapira ztz"l, the late Rosh Yeshiva of Merkaz HaRav Kook seemed to think so, along with many others.)

Is there ever any conflict between Torah Law and Israeli State Law?
(Do I really have to ask this question? Apparently, I do.)

Do Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria) belong to the Jewish People? Or are we squatters on Arab lands? Is the answer really that complicated?
(Hint: No, it's not at all complicated. look at the map.)

What is the original source of Zionism? Hertzl or the Torah?
(Unfortunately, this lecture is actually quite necessary.)

Christians Harassed on the Temple Mount

A friend posted a video on Facebook of Christians being harassed on Har HaBayith (the Temple Mount). A debate over it ensued. Here is my response.

I do not bother arguing with non-Jews about issues related to Eretz Yisra'el (the Land of Israel), which they desperately want to get a foothold on (The wife of the head of HaYovel has appeared to say so herself), nor about any aspect of halakhah (Torah Law). They are simply not part of the conversation, not to mention that they could not possibly know anything about prophesy or Torah law. They only have half of the Torah, as they rejected the oral law. Only now are they supposedly "rediscovering" it and working hard to make it fit into their theology. Esau changes his strategy to take over the Jewish (Ya'aqov's) physical and spiritual inheritance as his need dictates.

This non-Jew, presumably a Christian, goes on to say that...

"HaYovel was there to help when no Jews would go to HarBracha to work I’ve been there 5 times with them how many times have been there to help I know for fact we are not trying to convert anyone in fact most of us are Torah observers...."

Hmm... I wonder if he is aware of the punishment non-Jews incur for keeping Shabboth (the Sabbath), assuming they do so correctly. They could not possibly comprehend the Oral Torah, which they have rejected anyway. It is exclusively ours, and it is forbidden to instruct non-Jews in Oral Torah with the exception of Noahide Laws, and related matters. And so, there is no way they could know how to keep Shabboth correctly anyway, unless they had guidance from observant Jews. Such Jews would be considered collaborators, not to mention causing harm to the very non-Jews they so desperately want financial support, co-dependent love and validation from.

This non-Jew then claims that a verse in Yishiyahu (Isaiah) is prophesy that "they will be here." First of all, regardless of what the rabbi of Har Berakhah has, or has not, stated regarding this verse, we do not rule on halakhah based on prophesy. Second, these Christian "volunteers" may not be here, unless of course you believe that Jews are not in full control of the Land (יד הגוים תקיפה). Then, you could possibly make a case for such non-Jews to visit here, albeit and extremely weak one. And we certainly not allowed to allow them a foothold on Eretz Yisra'el. Do these Jews believe that Jews are not in full control of the Land? Doesn't sound traditionally "Zionist" to me. Of course, many of these same Jews have this ridiculous notion that Christians are no longer considered עובדי עבודה זרה (practitioners of foreign worship). But, that is only because they have completely misunderstood the meaning of the term, believing it to mean "idolator." It does not. Nevertheless, even by these Jews' own distorted definition of עובדי עבודה זרה, the fact that Christians worship a false deity, and believe in ספרי שקר which counter Torah, begs the question how they could possibly NOT include them in this category.

This non-Jew then finally states...

"HaShem called me there. His authority overrides anything you have to say."

How does he know this? False prophesy? And, of course, we know what exactly his concept of HaShem really is. Christians have learned to keep many of their theological thoughts to themselves.

Like I stated above, from the time when Esau and Ya'aqov were born, if one strategy does work for Esau, he simply tries another one. First he wants to kill us, then he wants to convert us, and then he wants to "love and support" us.
