שר התקשורת, שלמה קרעי, מקדם תקנות שבמסגרתן הוא יוסמך, לאחר היוועצות בשר לביטחון לאומי, להורות למשטרת ישראל לעצור אזרחים, להרחיק אותם מבתיהם, או לתפוס את רכושם – ככל שהוא שוכנע כי הפיצו ידיעות שיש בהן כדי לפגוע במורל הלאומי...

לא נראה לי שהייתי קורא להצעה הפשיזם... לפחות לא יותר שטיפת מוח הילדים שלנו כדי להאמין שמדינת ישראל באותה רמת החשיבות עם התורה. המביל יבין. 

ובזכות חיי החיילים שלנו, הילדים שלנו, בני משפחה שלנו אנחנו מבקרים את הממשלה ודורשים תשובות לשאלות שלנו.

חשוב להדגיש שבכתבה הזו אני לא מבקר את הממשלה על החדירה לעוטף עזה על ידי מחבלי חמאס. אלא אני מבקר את ההצעה של שר התקשורת שלמה קרעי.

שר התקשורת שלמה קרעי אמר בריאיון לגל"צ כי רה"מ נתניהו "השמיד את חמאס פעם אחר פעם, הפעם חמאס השתמש בגורם ההפתעה". השר התנער מאחריות הממשלה, ואמר: "אני שומע 'תתנצלו, תקחו אחריות, תבקשו סליחה'. על מה?". (ynet)

שר התקשורת שלמה קרעי התייחס לדברים שאמר בריאיון לגל"צ, ומסר: "אני מתנצל! חלילה לא התכוונתי להישמע גס רוח או להתנער מאחריות. להפך! מיד הוספתי שברור שיש לנו אחריות כהנהגה. אני מצד על כך שכשלתי בלשוני ושאנשים נפגעו ממני". קרעי אמר מוקדם יותר היום כי "אני שומע 'תתנצלו, תקחו אחריות, תבקשו סליחה'. על מה?". האם השר קרעי באמת דואג רק על המורל (בעברית בבקשה) נחישות ואמונהשלנו בדרך ובמטרה? או דורשים ממני להפסיק את נזק שם טוב של הממשלה ומפלגת הליכוד?

לפי דף וקיפדיה שלו, אני חייב להודות שאני מסכים עם כמעט כל ההשקפות שלו. וגם אני קראתי שבשנת 2022 אחרי הבחירות המקדימות של הליכוד המקום של קרעי עלה מה-24 לה-13. זאת אומרת שהוא עלה בפופולריות? בואו נראה בהמשך הנתיבה שלו בכנסת.

בינתיים, מטה, חברת ההחזקות של פייסבוק, אינסטגרם ועוד פרסמההערות ארוכות מאוד על המלחמה, ומה היא עושה במאבק נגד קבוצות טרור כמו חמאס. נראה לי ששינוי במדיניות הוא רק בגלל התלונות של האיחוד האירופי, אילן מאסק ואחרים.

וגם נראה שמטה עדיין מסדרת את השינויים במערכתה. או אולי לא? ליסה ליאל מדווחת ש...

ליסה ליאל הגבילה את המשמשים שמתאפשרים להעיר ברשומה הזו

"לפני כמה ימים, פייסבוק הודיע לי, ולכל משמשים שבאזור ישראל, שהרשות 'חברים של חברים' שיישמנו לתגובות עוברת שינוי ל'חברים בלבד' או ,׳חברים בלבד׳ ואנשים שעוקבים אחרינו לפחות שבוע או משהו כזה.

"ההרשאות הגלובליות שלי אומרות שהפוסטים שלי כולם פומביים לחלוטין, וש'חברים של חברים' יכולים להגיב עליהם. אבל כעת אני יכולה לשנות רק פוסטים בודדים, ואני לא רוצה לעשות את זה אחרי כל פוסט".

מכיוון שליסה ואחרים, שמפרסמים כמות לא מבוטלת של תוכן, מעדיפים להמנע מלשנות את ההרשות לכל פוסט בודד, פייסבוק מרשים שבעל חשבון פייסבוק בחר לשנות את ההרשאות מלכתחילה, ולא בפייסבוק.

אז איך הגבלת הדיון בדפים של כל יוצרי התוכן של פייסבוק באזור עוזרת להגביל את הפצת שקרי מחבלי חמאס?

זה לא עוזר בכלל.

Frontline News: Israel minister drafts law to arrest citizens who ‘harm national morale’
Law would crack down on Israelis who blame government for October 7th massacre

Israel Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi has drafted regulations that would allow authorities to arrest taxpaying citizens and seize their property for “harming national morale,” Israeli media reported Sunday.

According to the regulations titled “Limiting Aid to the Enemy through Communication,” members of the public or media who disseminate information that "undermines the morale of Israel's soldiers and residents in the face of the enemy" or "serves as a basis for enemy propaganda, including the spreading of the enemy's propaganda messages" or "aids the enemy in its war against Israel, its residents, or Jews" will be guilty of a criminal offense.

Regardless of the information’s veracity, the communications minister will be authorized to order the arrest of the information source and seize equipment used to spread the information.

The proposed regulations, which were drafted after consultation with Israel National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, come as 80% of Israelis reportedly blame the government for the October 7th attacks in which Muslim invaders massacred over 1,300 Israelis.

Security analysts are baffled by how the attackers were able to cross Israel’s heavily fortified border unimpeded and why it took Israel’s highly trained security forces over six hours to respond to calls for help. As we go to press no official investigations have been launched and IDF officials have said “now is not the time” to investigate what went wrong. (cont.)

Leftist rag "The Marker" calls the proposed law "fascism." Why I personally would not call this fascism, anymore than the indoctrination of religious Zionist children into believing that there little, if any difference, between Torah and Israeli secular law. המביל יבין. Need I say more?

And thanks to the lives of our soldiers, our children, our family members we criticize the government and demand answers to our questions.

It is important to emphasize that in this article I am not criticizing the government for the infiltration of the Gaza Strip by Hamas terrorists. But I criticize the proposal of Communications Minister Shlomo Karai.

Does Minister Kar'i really only care about our morale? Or is he being expected to control the damage to the government's, as well as the Likud Party's reputation?

According to Kar'i's Wikipedia page, I must admit that I agree with almost all of his views. I also read that in 2022 after the Likud primaries, Karai's place rose from 24th to 13th. Does that mean his popularity increased? I guess we'll see during his Knesset tenure.

Meanwhile, Meta, the umbrella company of Facebook, Instagram, and others have published its VERY LONG comments on the war, and what it is doing about cracking down on terrorist groups such as Hamas. It also seems that this is only due to complaints from the European Union, Elon Musk, and others.

It also seems that Meta is still working out the bugs from its policy change. Or is it? Lisa Liel reported that...

"A couple of days ago, Facebook notified me, and everyone else in the area of Israel, that the 'friends of friends' permissions we'd put on comments was being overridden and changed to 'friends only' or friends and people who'd been following us for at least a week. Or something like that.

"My global permissions say that my posts are all completely public, and that 'friends of friends' can comment on them. But I can only change individual posts now, and I don't want to have to do that after every post."

Since Lisa and many others, who post a significant amount of content, prefer not to change the permissions for each, individual post, Facebook makes it appear that the poster chose to change the permissions in the first place, and not Facebook.

So how does limiting discussion on the pages of all Facebook content creators in the region help to limit the dissemination of Hamas terrorist lies?

It doesn't.
