תנ"צ אבי וייס אומר לגלי בת חורין: המוסד ואמ"ן מתחרים בניהם מי ישיג יותר הישגים במידע על חיזבאללה ולכן אנחנו מגיעים למידע מודיעיני טוב. בלבנון למזלנו אין גופים מטורללים שבאים מטעם המחבלים להגיש עתירות ולעצור אותנו, כמו שקורה בעזה. הגדרת המטרות יותר קלה ואפשר לתקוף מטרות. לדבריו בעשור הקודם השב"כ ניהל ריגול אחרי יהודים ביו"ש במקום אחרי מחבלי החמאס ולכן כשלה פעילות המודיעין בעזה. לדברי וייס, המערכת המשפטית השתלטה על חיל האוויר, וב-7/10 הגיעו משפטנים לבור לקריה באופן מידי כדי להגביל את צעדי חיל האוויר, בעוד הטבח המזעזע מתרחש בשטח. יש ראיות שנתניהו הורה לחיל האוויר לתקוף בעזה, ואילו היועמ"שית והפצ"רית אסרו על ההפצצות. מערכת המשפט הישראלית העדיפה לאפשר פגיעה באזרחי ישראל שנשחטו נאנסו ונטבחו, העיקר שלא יפגעו "בלתי מעורבים" מעזה, וזאת בניגוד לבקשת ראש הממשלה לתקוף. כל צווי איסור הפרסום שהפרקליטות מוציאה מיועדים להגן על עצמה.

• הסתירו מידע צה"ל: חיילים שהופקדו לתצפית על עזה והגבול ראו רבות מהנקודות ברשימות הבדיקה שלהם. לאחר שדיווחו על כך, איימו עליהם הממונים שאם לא יפסיקו להפריע להם, יהיו לכך השלכות.
• הפלישה הממתינה הייתה ידועה בשעה 02:00 לפנות בוקר. החדירה והטבח החלו ב-6:29 בבוקר.
• כבר דיווחנו כי ראש המודיעין הצבאי דאז, אלוף אהרון חליווה, התעורר באמצע הלילה של 6-7 באוקטובר פעמיים, ובכל זאת חזר לישון.
• מודיעין הוסתר מנתניהו.
• נתניהו רצה לשנות את צווים לצה״ל, אך אמרו לו כי הוא זקוק תחילה לאישור הקבינט, ובכך עיכבו את התגובות הראויות לאויבנו חמאס.

According to him, the previous decade, the Shabbak (General Security Services) spied on Jews in Yo"sh (Judea and Samaria) instead of Hamas terrorists, and that is why the intelligence activity in Gaza failed. According to Weiss, the legal system took over the Air Force, and on October 7, lawyers arrived at the Kirya (military headquarters) immediately to limit the steps of the Air Force, while the shocking massacre was taking place in the field. There is evidence that Netanyahu ordered the Air Force to attack Gaza, while the ombudsman and the Judge Advocate General forbade the bombings. The Israeli justice system preferred to allow injury to Israeli citizens who were butchered, raped, and massacred, the main thing being that "uninvolved" people from Gaza should not be harmed, and contrary to the Prime Minister's request to attack. All gag orders issued by the prosecutor's office are intended to protect itself.

I have yet to see any translation to English of Police Commander Avi Weiss's revelations. So I have translated the main points of the article in Hebrew from Tov News.

Rabbi David Bar-Hayim and Yonatan Pollard mention these points, as well as additional intel, and put it all together. Here are a few highlights:

• IDF suppression of information: Soldiers assigned to observe the Gaza and the border were seeing many of the points on their checklists. After reporting this, they were threatened by their superiors that if they did not stop bothering them, there would be consequences.
• The pending invasion was known about by 2:00 AM. The invasion and massacre began at 6:29 AM.
• We have already reported that then Military Intelligence Chief Maj. Gen. Aharon Halivah was awoken in the middle of the night of October 6-7 twice, yet went back to sleep.
• Intelligence was hidden from Netanyahu.
• Netanyahu wanted to change the rules of engagement, but was told that he first needed Cabinet approval, thus delaying proper engagement with the enemy.

I am not a fan of Prime Minister Netanyahu and also think that he should resign and hand over the of the Likud party leadership to the next generation. But only after the war. There is no excuse for what the Kaplan Group (anti-Judicial Reform protestors), the Histadrut (Union leaders), and all Ehud Barak and Yair Lapid's pawns are doing to him. As Yonatan Pollard says in the video, the left would rather burn this country down, than allow a right-wing or conservative government rule for one more day. And Maj. Gen. Aharon Halivah gets a retirement party? Where is the justice?
