Jews Who Support Obama (or Romney)

ט"ו לחודש השמיני תשע"ג

Well, someone had to say it,...the truth, I mean.

I had never heard of E. T. Williams, the Doctor of Common Sense, until my homeboy out in LA-LA Land, Shalom pointed it out to me.

By the way, Mazal Tov, Shalom and Rachel on getting married!

Unfortunately, his website and associated video about Jews voting for Obama can no longer be found. Let me know if you find them at new locations.

That being said, Mitt Ronmey certainly ain't no prize. Unfortunately, my fellows Jews, physically and spiritually stuck in Am-Reiqa (Land of the Empty People) also have not been paying attention to what has been coming out of Romney's mouth.

Fortunately, Debbie Schlussel has been paying attention. See her piece on Romney's potential plans for the Middle East.

Disgraceful: Romney to the Left of Obama on Mid-East, Last Night; “When People in ME Vote, They Choose Peace” HUH?

Yeah, I know, I know. Stop abortion, gay marriage, etc., etc. Blah, blah, blah.

Good luck.

The adversarial relationship between Dems and Reps, MSNBC and Fox, or Likud and Labor are nothing more than illusions, distractions to keep us numbed out, and under control of the powers that be.

The ONLY vote Jews should make, is for Aliyah!

Moshe Dayan Doesn't Receive Any Tears From Me

מוצש"ק פר' לך לך תשע"ג
YNET: PM Condemns Desecration Of Dayan's Grave
Speaking at memorial service for late Minister Rehavam Ze'evi, Netanyahu says prevalence of vandalism of graves, holy sites is unacceptable

Omri Efraim, October 16, 2012

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has denounced the desecration of former Defense Minister Moshe Dayan's grave on Tuesday, saying that the deed and others like it were "unacceptable." (cont.)

"The minister of failure, in the name of the fallen"
In תשכ"ז/1967, Moshe Dayan won, and then handed over the Temple Mount to the Wakf (Muslim Religious Authority).

The Israeli government would later "give back" the Sinai Peninsula, promised to us for the future.  That future could very well have been תשל"ג/1973, if only we had allowed that future to happen.

In תשס"ו/2006, the Israeli Defense Forces [IDF] took control of Southern Lebanon up to the Litani River

Does anyone besides me see a pattern here?

Who knows if the redecoration of Moshe Dayan's tombstone was the work of "Tag Mahir" ("Price Tag") or the secret operations of some limb of the Israeli government, made to look like "Tag Mahir?"

I believe that at least half of such incidents are probably the work of some secret arm of an Israeli government enforcement body.  But, I do not have any evidence to this effect.

But you will also not see any tears from Esser Agaroth shed over the redecoration of Moshe Dayan's grave.

Everything You Need To Know About Deputy PM Dan Meridor

ט' לחודש השמיני תשע"ג

Now, I COULD say that Dan Meridor is a stupid asshole.  I'm not saying that he IS a stupid asshole.  I am only saying that he COULD be CALLED one.

Of course, it is illegal in the holy State of Israel to call a public official such names (I think?).  And, since I would NEVER want to violated the holy laws of the State of Israel, I had better NOT call Dan Meridor a stupid asshole.

Remember what happened to Nadia Matar when she was indicted and convicted of calling Yonatan Bashi a CAPO?  Highly inconvenient, even though she was eventually let off the hook, from the heinous crime of "name-calling."

So, much "free speech" in the holy State of Israel....

So, to find out everything that you need to know about Dan Meridor, WITHOUT calling him a stupid asshole, let us begin with my Esser Agaroth (2¢) analysis of the following article, which has been interspersed in blue italics.
IsraelNN: Deputy PM: No Plans to Adopt Pro-Settlement Report
Deputy PM Meridor says there are no plans to adopt the Levy Report. “Ramallah, Hevron not part of Israel.”

Maayana Miskin, October 19, 2012

See how well I blend in with my neighbors?
The government does not plan to adopt the Levy Report, Deputy Prime Minister Dan Meridor declared Friday. The groundbreaking report found the Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria is legal by international law.
I am not familiar with the "Levy Report," not do I care.  I don't need any report to tell me what legal or legal, according to International Law or Israeli Law.

I have the The Torah to tell me what is or is not "legal."

“Ramallah and Hevron are not part of the state of Israel, and I don’t think that Prime Minister Netanyahu plans to change that,” Meridor told Voice of Israel Radio (Kol Yisrael).

Meridor’s statements contradict earlier statements from Vice Prime Minister Moshe Yaalon. During a visit to Hevron earlier this year, Yaalon assured Jewish residents that Israel’s return to the city is “forever” and said the government is “working to develop our presence here.”
This is just evidence that the Likud is just a bunch of rag tag good ol' boys (and girls) thrown together, in order to pool together each others pools of voters.  They really do not have much else in common.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said this week that he would seek to adopt parts of the Levy Report. However, he has reportedly changed his mind due to strong opposition from Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein.
Even the Prime Minister cannot decide which position will get him more votes... not to mention which position will be easier to lie about change after the elections, in order to please his puppet masters friends in the West.
The report has caused upset in the Opposition. While the National Union is in favor of adopting the study, the left-wing Labor, Meretz and Kadima parties, as well as the Arab parties, are strongly against such a move.
So, basically, Meridor agrees with those in the opposition parties, including Uber-Leftist Meretz Party and the Arab parties which are known for wanting to revoke anything even remotely Jewish about Israel.

One only has to look as far as the Likud Platform, which at one time (does it still?) proclaimed both the West AND East Banks of the Jordan River to be the Land of Israel, to know that Meridor is about as much of a Likudnik as I am.  Well, actually, I AM a member of the Likud Party.  I just keep forgetting to cancel my membership for its annual digging into my bank account for my membership fees.  So, just figure that I might as well vote in the primaries. After all, I paid for it.

But, I digress....

Everything you need to know is that Dan Meridor COULD be called a stupid asshole.  But, since that is illegal, we had better not.

Haveil Havalim #382: The Dual Elections Edition

ז' לחודש השמיני תשע"ג

Founded by Soccer DadHaveil Havalim is a carnival of Jewish blogs -- a weekly collection of Jewish & Israeli blog highlights, tidbits and points of interest collected from blogs all around the world. It's hosted by different bloggers each week, jointly coordinated through our Facebook Group., and headed up by Jack.  The term 'Haveil Havalim,' whichmeans"Vanity of Vanities," is from Qoheleth, (Ecclesiastes) which was written by King Solomon. King Solomon built the Holy Temple in Jerusalem and later on got all bogged down in materialism and other 'excesses' and realized that it was nothing but 'hevel,' or in English,'vanity.'

OK.  We might as well get the election fever, or as Batya at Shiloh Musings would call it, Political Pundits Dream Season , out of our systems, since I KNOW it's on all of your minds.  But, first, some Torah...

Torah

Israeli Elections: The Jewish Home Party Is Neither Jewish, A Home, Nor Even A Party. Discuss Amongst Yourselves

ערב שבת קודש פר' נח תשע"ג
YNET: PM: Elections To Be Held Early
Prime Minister Netanyahu says that economic, security situation require elections for 19th Knesset to be moved up; vote expected to be held early in 2013

Attila Somfalvi, October 9, 2012

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced in a press conference Tuesday that the elections for the 19th Knesset are to be moved up. He did not announce a date for the vote, which is expected to be held early in 2013.
Netanyahu has held consult meetings on Tuesday to determine whether to call for early elections. Consultations have been held all through the previous week, and Netanyahu has insinuated that negotiators were unable to agree on the Knesset budget, a reason he cited as sufficient enough to justify an earlier vote. (cont.)

(Tip Credit: Jews News)
So, do I bother to vote??

My rav says to vote.  Although I do not follow him blindly, his logic is compelling:
"Vote.  You do not have to like it, but vote.  Hold your nose, if you have to, but you must vote in order to prevent another leftist or Arab from taking even one more seat in the K'nesseth."
My friend Ariel at The Torah Revolution likes to remind me that when I vote, I am validating and giving power to the (non-Jewish and not even democratic) democratic) system.

I must say that his reasoning is also compelling.  If no one voted, or if there were not any Jews voted, we might actually have something there.

I cannot tell you just how tempted I am to vote for an Arab Party, though. Maybe Jews will finally stop playing games, and wake up.

But, of course, my friend Eliyokim at Jews News is right to ask me, "Can I vote for anyone not connected with Torah?"

After all, the ONLY justification for Jews to control and reside in the Land of Israel is the Torah, NOT the United Nations (AKA: United Nothings), nor any other non- or anti-Jewish entity.

That goes for Tel-Aviv just as much as it goes for Hevron, Beth-El, or K'far Tapu'ah.

Since I simply cannot vote for those Jewish Home Party jokers (the resurrected National Religious Party), unless they get rid of "The Mustache Club" (Hershkowitz, Smolensky, & Orbach), Shaul "deMOCKracy" Yahalom, and Zevulun "I'm not budging! ...from K'nesset seat" Orlev
"The Mustache Club"
But, if they don't, then what do I do?

Oh, and speaking of jokers, those Christian-lovers Ari and Jeremy are vying for spots on The Jewish Home Party list.  Thank God, they don't have a chance in hell, K'Einahora, poo, poo, poo...

"We LOVE you, Christians!  We LOVE you!  Do you love us?  Pretty please?"

Why can't the National Religious Party just die already???

I'll tell you why.  There's an Israeli political expression...
"There are those who would continue to vote for the National Religious Party, even if it had a cat on the list."

To understand this expression fully, you must first understand that in Israel, there maybe rats running around the streets in the sewers, carrying, God only knows what kind of, diseases.  But, it is the cat population which is the more visible, having chased the rats underground, becoming their own special category of vermin.

But, still some Israelis hat cats as pets.  So, every time you see a cat on the street, you have to ask yourself, "Is this cute little kitty someone's pet?  Or just more vermin?"

Believe me.  I ask myself that question about the Jewish Home Party/National Religious Party [NRP] ALL the time.

Well, I'll keep you updated on my grand decision.

Who knows?  Maybe Naftali Bennet will win the NRP leadership, and clean house.

Maybe Prime Minister Netanyahu will grow a pair, and tell the U. S.., the U. N., and everyone else that we are cancelling the Oslo Death Accords annexing Yehudah and the Shomron.(Judea & Samaria), and changing the course of history.

Yeah, and maybe monkeys will fly out of my...  Never mind.

Minister Moshe Kahlon Quits Politics? No. Not Really.

ערב שבת קודש פר' נח תשע"ג
YNET: Minister Kahlon Quits Politics
Communications and social affairs minister announces he will not contend in Likud primaries; reason unclear

Attila Somfalvi, October 14, 2012

Three months before the elections for the 19th Knesset, Communications and Social Affairs Minister Moshe Kahlon has announced that he is taking a break from politics, and therefore will not contend in the upcoming Likud primaries.

It was not immediately clear what led to Kahlon's decision. As late as Saturday night Kahlon sounded determined to win the top spot on the Likud ticket, and was involved alongside Prime Minister Benjamin Netnyahu and Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz in gearing towards Wednesday's Likud Central Committee meeting.

He made his announcement in a press conference but refused to take questions from reporters.

According to several sources, the minister told Likud activists that he is taking a two-year hiatus from public life, and that his decision is not connected to any government roles promised by Netanyahu.

Kahlon made the decision over two weeks ago and was set to announce it after Wednesday's meeting. Leaked reports about his possible retirement scrapped that plan.

Kahlon was first elected for the 16th Knesset, and was ranked first on the Likud list in the elections for the 17th Knesset. He was sixth on the list in the last elections. (cont.)
Translation? Something is definitely going on behind the scenes.

This MK and government minister has consistently placed very high on the Likud list, pretty much guaranteeing him a seat in K'nesseth.

So, why is he leaving public life?

Prime Minister Netanyahu attempted to convince Kahlon to stay in politics.

Then Netanyahu said he understood why Kahlon wanted a break.

Then Kahlon took a the spotlight at the Likud Convention, where "thousands of supporters attend party event, urge outgoing minister to stay in politics."

Somewhere in there, the Likud Party launched a Kahlon SMS Campaign.

Kahlon said that he didn't understand the fuss.

...and  neither do I.

Is he a threat to Netanyahu?  Or does Netanyahu need him desperately?

Please just tell me that this whole Kahlon chapter isn't just some ploy to keep us even remotely interested in the elections.

If that turns out to be the case, then I would be VERY disappointed.

Hmm...  Maybe there is something to the U. S. Elections after all:

More entertainment value.

Stay tuned.  Hopefully more will be revealed.

Avodah Zarah Parade 5773 Wrap-Up!

ראש חודש השמיני תשע"ג

I didn't feel so well on the Thursday during Hol HaMo'ed Sukkoth, so I didn't end up going to a barbecue at a friend's in the [re-claimed Jewish] Shimon HaTzadiq Neighborhood.

Too bad, too, because I could have prayed Tefillath Minhah from the amud, which would have been a tiqqun for the fiasco last year, when I tried to do the same.  Last year, someone kept interrupting my hazarah, accusing me of "davening the wrong nusah."  I stopped after negotiating all of his interruptions, and finally making it through to the end of the first berakhah. I then gestured to this guy to take over, as a walked to the back of the yard where we were praying.

Later on, I set him straight about how there is ACTUALLY more than one nusah in the universe.  He realized his mistake, felt bad about it, and apologized, and ready to apologize to everyone present, until I stopped him from doing so.

I can forgive ignorance quite easily, when the offending party is willing to amend his knowledge.

But, since I did not go to the barbecue/Se'udath Hol HaMo'ed this year, I did not have the opportunity, nor merit, to pray in an area being re-claimed by its Jewish home owners, who temporarily lost access to their homes in 1948.  Then, of course, after reclaiming access to a good portion of our heritage in 1967, there was still the issue of Arab squatters.  That issue has turned out to be more difficult to deal with than the Jordanian, Egyptian, and Syrian armies put together.

But, I digress...

I spent that day at home instead.  Yet, I wanted to get outside a bit, so I walked over to Shalom Fallafel on Betzalel Street to buy a couple of containers of the best hilbeh I've ever had, besides homemade.  Unfortunately, it was closed.

On the way there, I had no choice but to pass by Jerusalem's annual Avodah Zarah Parade, known to most as the "Jerusalem March."

I had successfully blocked this annual embarrassment to Am Yisra'el, Eretz Yisrael, the Torah. I had thought about getting out of town, like to the beach.  But, like I said, I wasn't feeling very well.  I knew that I could not spend too much time in the area, as I knew that I incredibly upset an aggravated, and possibly even arrested.

Security was out in force, including a helicopter, courtesy of OUR TAX SHEQQELS, thank you very much, and all for the privilege of receiving a kiss from Esau's descendants.

Yeah, I know, I know...  Was I just running  away from the problem to put my head in the sand until it was over?   I don't know about that.  I believe that at this juncture, I can do more with a keyboard than with shouting and a picket sign.  Time and time again, we have learned than protests do absolutely nothing in Israel to change anything,...except, of course, those protests secretly set up by the Israeli government itself.

But, yet again, I digress...

On my way to Shalom Fallafel and back another way, I was able to mention to some (in Hebrew) what this parade was all about.   One of those few was a friend of mine.  I [nicely] asked him why he was watching the Avodah Zarah Parade, and showing his support.

The friend he was with grabbed his arm, and tried to get him to go.  Instead this friend of mine wanted to know what I meant.  I explained the problems with the Parade and its participants.  He didn't seem to happy with my "insulting" of "friends of Israel," so much so that he actually smacked me, albeit not very hard.

My eyes popped out of my skull.  I asked him that he would strike a fellow Jew for the sake of those, whose beliefs and practices pollute the Land.  That seemed to go over his head.  So, I kept it plain and simple.  I told him that he was not my friend, and I walked away.

Before anyway starts up about Ahduth Yisra'el (Jewish Unity) and Hava'ath Shalom bein Adam leHavero, (making peace between individuals) I will remind you that there are limits to these concepts.  There are limits in Judaism.

Believing what you want about a group of people, you are being blinded by smiles and money (Read: co-dependence and bribes), doesn't make the halakhoth (Jewish Laws - and there are many of them related to this subject!) go away.

More Disturbing News From France

ל' לחודש השביעי תשע"ג

On Shabbath, Hol HaMo'ed Sukkoth, I received some disturbing news from France.

We have all heard quite a bit of disturbing and tragic news from France over the past year, but the news I heard this time was particularly disturbing.  Here's why.

I was staying by friends in Eli. For dinner, we were joined by a family from France, which had only been in Israel for not even two months.  My French is almost non-existent, and the husband's English seemed to be almost as bad as my French.  But, his Hebrew was pretty good.  So, we were able to communicate.

We went back and forth with the usual questions.  Honestly, I couldn't wait to ask him about France.  Was it really that bad for Jews?

It was worse.

I'm not talking about not being able to wear a kippah in most Paris neighborhoods, Muslim unrest and violence, the French Foreign Minister's denial that Jews have any connection to Israel, or even the fear of getting shot (חס וחלילה ולא עלינו!).

What could be worse?

French rabbis, or rather French "rabbis," are telling Jews to STAY IN FRANCE!

But, that's not all!

A resident of Eli, originally from France, was actually prevented from speaking in a synagogue (or more?) in Lyon.

Prevented!  What were they afraid of?  I wonder.

It sounds strangely similar to when Rabbi Yissakhar Shlomo Teichtel ztz"l was prevented from speaking in synagogues in Hungary during World War II.  He knew what was coming.  His fellow Hungarians might have as well, but couldn't or wouldn't face the inevitable.

Can't European Jews learning from history?  Do they really have such short memories?

Heck!  Even former Prime Sinister Ariel Sharon told Jews they should make aliyah, and didn't seem to care too much that he upset more than a handful of French officials.

It is no coincidence that that Jewish towns with a high percentage of French speakers have been growing over the past ten years.

French Jews living in Israel having been working very hard to encourage aliyah.  Towns like Ofra, for example, did not have any significant French speaking population 10 years ago.  It does now, and it's not the only one.

French Jews ARE leaving France, in spite the "rabbis" and brainwashed colaborators putting stumbling blocks in front of them.

But, how many more will be able to make it out, before it's too late?

Can Israel Win A War Against Iran? (or Syria? or Hezbollah? or anyone?)

ערב שבת פר' בראשית תשע"ג

I heard a very good interview, which I recommend to everyone in Israel who can understand English, and to EVERY Jew, living outside of Israel.

Kerry Cassidy of Project Camelot interviewed Barry Chamish (August 22, 2012)....

Say what you will about Barry Chamish, but before you say anything at all, please consider two things:
1. Barry is the author of Who Killed Yitzchak Rabin?  Most everyone in Israel, from left to right, religious to secular believes that we do not know the full story behind the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin in 1995.  Even Rabin's own daughter, former Member of Knesset Dalia Rabin-Philosof (Labor) believes that the full story behind her father's death has yet to be revealed.
2. One Jerusalem rabbi said it all, when he stated...
"Even if Barry Chamish is only 5% correct, we are still in big trouble."

It's hardly a stretch to consider Barry Chamish to be at least 5% correct. Personally, I believe he is correct a heck of a lot more often than Jews want to admit.  Denial (not just a rive in Egypt) just seems to be a lot more comfortable for them He's almost like the mythical character of Cassandra, who had the gift of prophesy, yet was also cursed, in that no one would ever listen to her.

In this interview, Barry asks questions that no one seems to be asking besides him:

"Can Israel win (or survive) a war with Iran?  And, what about Hezbollah?  Thoroughly unstable Syria?"

This interview was a month ago, so I will add to this list Egypt and Jordan.  Hopefully, Jews and everyone else in the world have learned that nothing is off the table, when the Middle East is concerned.

In addition, many in the various, independent media communities love to make comments about Zionists, and all the "evil" they are responsible for.  Finally, Barry Chamish comes along to provide the only response that anyone might listen to, not the usually whiny and co-dependent "hasbarah" crap.

He points the finger, and, in my opinion, he point the finger at the correct people to blame, the so-called Labor Zionists.

Labor Zionists include the late-Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhaq Rabin who gave the order to shoot, killing fellow Jews on the Alta Lena, Ehud Baraq, who when he was prime minister, wanted to throw 1,000's of Jews out of their homes, 12 years before the expulsion from Azza, our own illustrious, Vatican collaborating, President Shimon Peres, and last but not least, the "right-wing" clothing, current Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.  You remember, don't you? He's the one who didn't revoke Israel's agreement to the Oslo Accords, when he said he would, auctioned off Hevron, Jericho, and Azza, before any leftist had the chance, and who refuses.

Why is it that so many Jews, calling themselves "Zionists," are anything but?!

But, I digress...

I will conclude this diatribe with the e-mail I sent to Barry.  Do not forget to check out Barry's website, nor Barry's books @ Lulu.com.

Hi, Barry, I heard your interview with Kerry Cassidy on Project Camelot, from August. It was great! It was even better "hasbarah"* than anything I've heard from these co-dependent "Please accept us, world!" Hasbarahniks.

The difference? You weren't afraid to point the finger. These Hasbarahniks want to portray this "All you need is love" mentality, and it's going to get us all killed, whether by outside forces, or by their naivete, the gov't's indifference to everyone living outside of Ramat Aviv Gimmel, Hertzliyah Pitu'ach and K'far Shmaryahu ("Limosine Liberal," "We know better that you!" neighborhoods and towns), or all of the above. And, in my opinion, you pointed it in the right direction.

I believe that Ben Hecht's "Perfedy"* also backs up your premise about the Labor Zionists wanting to bump off religious Jews, no?

You did more to battle anti-Semitism (Let's call it what it really is: anti-Jewishness) in one hour than most could do during the span of a fancy week-long convention with a 24-hour, Kosher leMehadrin buffet. ;-) I'll try to write it up when I can.
Shannah Tovah!  May the coming year be better than the last one!

U. S. Troops In Jordan: Now Will You Believe Me?

כ"ה לחודש השביעי תשע"ג

For years I have been suggesting that the U. S. government's sending of troops into Israel (Yes! In Israel!), and into anywhere near Israel, has been based on anything but "good intentions." Whether it is to gain eventual control of Jerusalem, Christian historical sites, or more, the presence of U. S. Troops in Israel is not for the benefit of the Jewish People.  I say that EVEN if U. S. Troops are coming (or are already here) to serve some sort of role in Shimon Peres's the Israeli government's grand scheme of things.

For years, I have tracked the sightings of U. S. Troops in Israel., first turned onto their possible presence by Who Killed Yitzchak Rabin? author, Barry Chamish, Israel National Radio talk show host Tamar Yonah.  U. S. Troops have showed up in the Shomron (Samaria), in Ashdod, and, of course, in the Negev Desert.  Sightings of their presence is not so much the problem.  Their presence has sometimes been celebrated in the Leftist-controlled mainstream, Israeli news media, like when they were here in תשס"ג/2003 to "defend" us from a potential "scud missile onslaught," resulting from the U. S. attack on Iraq. The lack of any evidence of their complete exit from Israel is the problem!

The following news item from Yahoo came to me from Tomer Devorah, one of the few Jews, and definitely one the few bloggers, out there who has a sense for seeing historical patterns.

Her blog is one of only two I make the effort to read on a regular basis.

I recommend that you do the same.

My Esser Agaroth (2¢) are in blue italics.  The black bold indicates highlights from Tomer Devorah, the red bold from me.

Panetta: US sends forces to Jordan
The United States has sent military troops to the Jordan-Syria border to bolster that country's military capabilities in the event that violence escalates along its border with Syria, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Wednesday.
Speaking at a NATO conference of defense ministers in Brussels, Panetta said the U.S. has been working with Jordan to monitor chemical and biological weapons sites in Syria and also to help Jordan deal with refugees pouring over the border from Syria. The troops are also building a headquarters for themselves.
But the revelation of U.S. military personnel so close to the 19-month-old Syrian conflict suggests an escalation in the U.S. military involvement in the conflict, even as Washington pushes back on any suggestion of a direct intervention in Syria.
Maybe, maybe not.  What concerns me is what happens after the U. S. troops have completed their "publicized" tasks.  Then what?
It also follows several days of shelling between Turkey and Syria, an indication that the civil war could spill across Syria's borders and become a regional conflict. (Hint, hint...)
"We have a group of our forces there working to help build a headquarters there and to insure that we make the relationship between the United States and Jordan a strong one so that we can deal with all the possible consequences of what's happening in Syria," Panetta said.
Translation: make the relationship between the United States and Jordan such that the United States can control Jordan....
...A U.S. defense official in Washington said the forces are made up of 100 military planners and other personnel who stayed on in Jordan after attending an annual exercise in May, and several dozen more have flown in since, operating from a joint U.S.-Jordanian military center north of Amman that Americans have used for years....
Tomer Devorah:
If the US has secret designs on Jerusalem, they could be positioning themselves for more than Syrian refugees and intel gathering.

More Esser Agaroth (2¢):
...and I will reiterate what I wrote above...  Whatever the intentions of the U. S., I believe them to be nefarious.  That does not mean that those intentions might very serve the plans of the Israeli government.  In fact, I believe the opposite; they may very well serve its plans.

In תשס"ה/2005, the Israeli government received proof positive that having its own Israeli Defense Forces [IDF] throw fellow Jews out of their homes was a psychological and public relations disaster.  The Israeli government has simply not been successful enough in demonizing settlers, in order to remove them from wherever and whenever it wants.

Even the Israeli public has its limits, in spite of its learned helplessness.

Even certain IDF units, such as Tzanhanim (paratroopers) and Naha"l Haredi (a strongly religious unit), were not dragged called in to participate in the expulsion, because it was well-known that the Israeli government would have had hundreds of soldiers refusing orders to carry out the operation.

The Israeli government also apparently does not have enough non-Jewish (eg. Jews-hating Ukrainians, here under questionable documentation for purely economic reasons) Yassa"mnikim (riot police) to beat up throw Jews out of their homes and hand over their lands to hostile Arabs.

As I wrote, a full six months before the Israeli government's "unilateral disengagement," AKA "expulsion of Jews," from Azza (Gaza), the use of foreign troops (ie. non-Jews) to do the Israeli government's dirty work is no longer the personal conspiracy theory of a handful of those of us able to see the writing on the wall; it is inevitable.

At first, I thought that those foreign (U. S.) troops might come through Syria, after completing their search for weapons of mass destruction, smuggled in from Iraq in תשס"ג/2003.  That didn't happen.  But, it was only a matter of time when a new, potential plan to invade Syria began to rear its ugly head: More "regime change."

Now, it appears that the U. S. is going right for the jugular veins.  The assumption is the U. S. Troops in Jordan will have a convenient launching point to go into Syria.  Whether they go into Syria or not, is insignificant, in my opinion.

They may be there to save King Abdullah's tuchus, or so he thinks.  More likely, though, they will be so conveniently situated, that they will be able to reach their first expulsion targets within minutes, carrying out the final expulsion exactly as I said they would years ago.

By using foreign troops, the Israeli government believes that...
1. It will avoid the deep, psychological damage of its own troops, caused the last time IDF soldiers had to throw their fellow Jews out of their homes.

2. Settlers, not the suburbanites of Efrat or Neve Daniel, but SETTLERS, will have much less qualms about laying hands on the foreign troops attempting to expel them from their land and homes, than they would about laying hands on Jewish troops.  Thus, "accidents," "expected, harmless skirmishes," and "fatal misunderstandings" will easily end up killing two (or more) birds with one stone.  (Pun intended)
Think I'm nuts?  Probably you do.  But, you had also better hope that I am wrong.

U. S. Elections: "To Vote Or Not To Vote?" OR "Stuck Between A Muslim And A Mormon"

כ"ג לחודש השביעי תשע"ג

I've heard so many theories about why voting in the U. S. elections is so crucial, and that voting for this one or that one would be better for Jews, Israel, and even the U. S. (...as if I actually cared about the U. S.).

I do not give a...

Here are just a few of the reasons which have been forced down my throat...

Pro-Obama
1. Obama will make it so bad for the Jews, that they'll fight to get on planes to Israel.
*Um,...I do not think that it is permissible to do wrong anything knowingly harmful to fellow Jews.

2.  Obama is so way out there, that he will neve succeed in having any significant influence over an Israeli prime minister.
*Um,...Someone hasn't been paying attention to the news, nor to history.  Israeli prime ministers have traditionally not needed any help whatsoever in making screwed up decisions for the Israeli public.

Pro-Romney
1. If Obama wins, then Vice-President Biden will still only a heartbeat away from the Oval Office
*Isn't anyone else as astounded as I am that Obama is keeping this buffoon on the Democratic ticket?  Watch for an "October Surprise!"

2. Romney will prevent and abortions and gay marriage.
*Yeah,...I guess.

The ONLY theory that makes any sense to me is the one where Jews put faith in HaShem, His Torah, and in ourselves standing on our own two feet.

Nope.  You didn't think of that one, did you?

So, should I vote for the lying, crack-smoking, Kenyan, Muslim closet case (not that there's anything wrong with that. - alla "Seinfeld")?

OR

...the one who believes that stolen and distorted, Native American theology was found on golden flatware, that Yesh"u transported appeared in North America, told him that he would eventually become a deity himself on another planet, who may (or may not) take along his wife to be his co-deity? *Sounds a little Zoroasteran to me. Why does there never seem to be a Scientologist around when you need one?

OR

Since I am registered to vote in California, does it really matter if I vote at all?  I mean, is it really worth a NIS 2.00 stamp.  *That's about $ 0.52. The bottom line is that the U. S. isn't my country.  Everyone wants to tell me that it's my hishtadluth (my part, my effort) to vote in the U. S. elections,...because I can.  Hmmm...

Personally, I have always preferred science-fiction over soap operas (or wasting postage stamps), but no matter.

Just don't forget to search on YouTube for "Larry Sinclair, Obama."  Then you'll will understand the above, explicit description of the Muslim.

As far as the Mormon goes, he apparently believes in a "two-state" solution, which automatically pasuls (disqualifies) him in my book anyway.  Yeah, some Christian he is! Oh, that's right. A lot of Christians don't even consider Mormons, Christians, per se,...as if I really cared about Mormons or Christians.

I do not give a...
JSpace: Romney Promotes Two-Solution; Criticizes Obama On Iran

Governor Mitt Romney laid out a foreign policy plan Monday night, in a speech aimed at profiling the GOP candidate’s foreign affairs platform ahead of the election.
In the lead up to his Monday address at the Virginia Military Institute, media received a transcript of Romney’s planned remarks. News reports circulated that the former Massachusetts governor would work to challenge President Obama’s handling of the Middle East riots last month—a claim that ultimately proved true.

The released statements included a line about a free, democratic Palestine that seemed to contradict comments Romney made in a secret fundraiser tape circulated last month, a clip known colloquially as the “47 percent video.”

In the video, Romney states that an independent Palestine is not possible, as the Palestinians do not actually want peace. He adds that the solution is to “kick the problem” down the field, insinuating he would leave the matter for a future administration.

In the released text of his Monday night speech, reporters caught on to a portion that showed the candidate making a stark turn from his earlier Palestine remarks. In his address, Romney called for a recommitment “to the goal of a democratic, prosperous Palestinian state living side by side in peace and security with the Jewish state of Israel.” (cont.)

And I thought that flip-flops were a type of footwear...  Boy, was I wrong!

Anyway, talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place, or rather, between a Muslim and a Mormon.

How Does A Drone Come From Lebanon Into Southern Israel Without Being Detected?

YNET: IAF Shoots Down Suspicious Aircraft In Northern Negev
Unmanned, unidentified aircraft infiltrates Israeli airspace Saturday morning; IAF fighter jets intercept aircraft shortly thereafter; IDF: Aircraft did not depart from Gaza or carry explosives

Yoav Zitun, October 6, 2012

The Israeli Air Force intercepted an unmanned and unidentified aircraft that entered Israel's airspace early Saturday morning.

The aircraft was shot down by two F-16I jets in an open area in the northern Negev region, and its remains were scattered in an open area in the south Mount Hebron region. Army forces were alerted to the scene in order to collect the remains in hopes of identifying the drone, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit said. (cont.)
1. How did it get so far south, undetected?

2. Were there operatives in the south?

3. Why was it done?  To see if they could?  Reconnaissance?

4. Was this a "false flag" event?

One resident of the Gallil suggested that the drone could have traveled over the Mediterranean Sea, then darted inland, and was controlled via GPS.

I am still not convinced.

Then there was this...
YNET: UNIFIL: No Drone Detected Crossing From Lebanon Into Israel
UN force says it hasn't spotted any breach of Israeli airspace from Lebanon; responsibility for UAV mission yet to be claimed
(Tip Credit: Jews News)
Not that we should even think twice about trusting anything at all which comes out of any UN (United Nothings) body, but this would go along with the water fly-over theory. If the UN did detect something off to the west, it technically would not be lying,...technically.

Perhaps more will be revealed regarding this awfully odd event, or perhaps only that which the Shimon Peres Israeli government wants to be revealed will be revealed.

Turkey vs. Syria: What About The Kurds?

מוצאי יום שמיני עצרת תשע"ג
YNET: Syrian Soldiers Killed in Turkish Strike
Turkey continues to bombard Syrian posts following mortar attack that killed five Turks; Turkish parliament set to discuss further military action

Turkish artillery hit targets inside Syria on Wednesday, killing several Syrian soldiers according to activists, after a mortar bomb fired from Syria killed five Turkish civilians and prompted NATO to call for an immediate end to Syria's "aggressive acts."

In the most serious cross-border escalation of the 18-month uprising in Syria, Turkey hit back at what it called "the last straw" when a mortar hit a residential neighborhood of the southern border town of Akcakale. (cont.)
I'm going to hazard a guess that this back and forth has something to do with the Kurds.

The Turks, who wiped out countless Armenians, and still deny, and repeatedly said they would "mix in,' even in Iraq, if they sensed any threat of Kurdish nationalism.

The last thing they want is a Kurdish state, or even anything even remotely more autonomous than what the Kurds currently have in Northern Iraq.  The Turks are afraid of their own Kurdish population "getting out of hand."

Why I am suspicious that this back and forth between Turkey and Syria has something to do with the Kurds?  Unless I missed them, Kurds have been conspicuously absent from any of the mainstream news reports.  (Did I miss them?)  And yet, too perfect of an excuse to go after some Kurds, under the guise of defending against the highly unstable situation in Syria.

This is not the first skirmish along this border.  And, I suspect that it will not be the last.

There is constant debate, in Israel at least, as to which country will be the next to fall to Islamic extremism.  Algeria?  Turkey?  Even Jordan?  Perhaps the fall of Egypt is already in progress....

My guess is that we will not see any significant move in this direction, until it gains full membership in the European Union.
"At the siege of Vienna in 1683 Islam seemed poised to overrun Christian Europe.  We are in a new phase of a very old war." - Gates Of Vienna Blog
To break through the gates of Vienna this time, they are using very different methods.

In the meantime, let's keep an eye on what happens with the Kurds, one of the only peoples left on this earth without some kind of control over their homeland.

The pride of the Turkish government may overpower them yet, ruining their chances of accelerated infiltration into Europe through membership in the European Union.

Arutz 7 Still Doesn't Get It About Christians (Updated!)

ג' חול המועד סוכות תשע"ג

Yeah, I know, I know....  Don't shoot the messenger.

The point of this post is not to criticize Arutz 7 (Israel National News) for reporting the news.  It IS to criticize Arutz 7 for omitting parts of the full story.

Here's the gist of what they wrote:
Arutz 7: 3,000 Christians Support Israel
The International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem [ICEJ] hosts 3,000 Christians from around the world who come to express their support for Israel.

Elad Benari & Yedidya Ben Or, October 4, 2012

About 3,000 Christians from around the world attended on Tuesday a huge event in support of Israel. The participants included members of pro-Israel lobbies from the U.S. Congress and from parliaments around the world.

The event is an annual conference held every year during the holiday of Sukkot and hosted by the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem. The event was planned by the International Israel Allies Caucus Foundation, headed by former MK Rabbi Benny Elon, as well as the World Jewish Congress and the Ministry of Public Diplomacy and Diaspora Affairs. Participants included members of the U.S. Congress and parliamentarians from Canada, Brazil, Finland, Macedonia, the Philippines, Portugal, South Africa, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Estonia, Hungary, Spain, Uruguay, Portugal and the UK.

The event was also attended by Minister of Information and Diaspora Yuli Edelstein and World Jewish Congress Secretary-General Dan Dicker. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu sent a video greeting...
The rest of the report is just additional details,...as in "The Devil is in the details...."  You read and see for yourself, by clicking the link above.

What Arutz 7 did NOT report about ICEJ was reported by Jewish Israel.  The below information is nothing new.  Fortunately, Jewish Israel knows that, unfortunately, we Jews can have very short memories.
ICEJ declares that their core mission is to tell the world that jesus is coming back and to spread that word from Jerusalem

This September 2012 video from the international director of the International Christian Embassy, Jerusalem (ICEJ) makes it clear that ICEJ's "core" mission is to let the world know of "the return of the lord jesus", and to spread that news from Jerusalem to the nations. Is this the "Christian Zionist" message that the Jewish State should be supporting?
I don't know about you, but the title was pretty clear to me.

It also leaves me with a few questions:
1. Is Arutz 7 knowingly or unknowingly "aiding and abetting" the ICEJ in fulfilling its core mission?

2. Is the Israeli Government knowingly or unknowingly "aiding and abetting" the ICEJ in fulfilling its core mission?
3. Do Arutz 7 and the Israeli Government really think that the following pasuq from the Torah doesn't apply to them?
Deuteronomy 16:19 Do not twist judgment; do not show deference; and do not take a bribe; for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise, and distorts the words of the righteous.
Inquiring minds want to know....

OK.  So, I guess that was silly to expect that most members of the Israeli Government would actually be concerned in the least about what is written in the Torah, save for the occasional opportunity to pervert the Torah by using it to support government policies.

But, Religious Zionist Arutz 7?  What's their excuse?

Jewish Israel was even interviewed on one of Arutz 7's own radio talk shows, Derech Eretz, as recently as a month and half ago, albeit I do not know if the ICEJ's agenda was covered.

On a final note, I guess I wrong about the title of this post.  It should have been...

Arutz 7 And The Israeli Government Still Don't Get It About Christians

Update!
W
To Arutz 7's Credit, one staff member posted the following:

Activists: Beware Concerned Christians
At least two prominent Jerusalemites believe that Israel is “selling its soul” to Christian missionaries for their political support

David Lev, October 4, 2012

While many Israelis welcome the support shown by evangelical Christians for the State of Israel, at least two prominent Jerusalemites – [former] city council member Mina Fenton and real estate activist develop Aryeh King – believe that Israel is “selling its soul” to Christian missionaries. And, they say, they represent many other Israelis who are uncomfortable with the idea of Christian missionaries taking such a prominent role in support for Israel. The organizers of the Christian “Feast of Tabernacles” celebration, who have brought more than 3,000 tourists to Israel for the week of Sukkot, “have their own interests, namely the spreading of the vision of their messiah and the arrival of his kingdom,” said Fenton. While all people are free to believe and worship as they wish, Fenton said, Jews must proclaim that their Messianic vision is at odds with the Christian one. The Christians' profession of “love for the Jewish people,” she said, is a “mask” for their true desire, which is to convert the Jews to their religion. “When they talk about the rebuilding of the Temple, they mean it to be a Christian temple,” Fenton said. As far as they are concerned, the establishment of the State of Israel, as far as evangelicals are concerned, is a Christian event in and of itself, Fenton said, because it advances the Christian messianic agenda.

“There are people, especially on the right, who are prepared to pay a price [of getting close to Christians] that great rabbis of the Jewish people rejected for generations,” said King. The Chief Rabbinate has gone on record as opposing the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem [ICEJ] – but, said King, many in the religious community are hesitant to speak up because of the massive support that evangelicals provide Israel, in a world where such support is in short supply.

Fenton and King suggest that Israelis and American Jews get to know the “real” feelings and beliefs of the evangelicals organizing events like the Feast of Tabernacles via Youtube videos, where viewer can see what their beliefs are on the role of the Jewish people and the State of Israel in Christian “end of times” theology. Particularly interesting, they said, is the Christian viewpoint on Jerusalem. “Jerusalem will not be a Jewish city, they say this openly,” said Fenton adding that she finds it difficult to understand how people with such views are part of the political discussion on the future of the city.
Still, David, you left the part out about how they're not just trying to steal souls.  They want our Land, too!

Why is this Christian couple living in a caravan (trailer) somewhere in the Shomron?
*Note: When clicking on the link to the video, it now comes up as "Private."  How convenient...
Which family from Azza or Beth-El is homeless and couch-surfing because a Christian couple has taken away its heritage?

Why are residents of K'far Tapu'ah, Har Berakhah, and Itamar violating a negative commandment, by helping them to settle here?

Now, go read Zekhariah Ch. 12-14.  The pen truly is mightier than the sword,...so far.
