YNET: From beach to war: How reservists left their vacation as soon as Hamas infiltrated Israel
The moment they heard their country was under attack, the beaches, hotels and spas were immediately deserted as they rushed back home and put on their uniforms, ready to lay down their lives; IDF reservists talk about the transformation from leisure to combat

Roy Rubinstein | October 11, 2023

...Amit Mered from Modi'in... arrived Tuesday morning after returning from a family vacation in Greece. He explained, "I tried to reach here on Saturday, but our flights were canceled. Eventually, I managed to secure a flight and make it here. Although my parents were concerned, my father insisted that we come because there is no other option, and we have to be here."

Similarly, Nathaniel Ben Menachem from the West Bank settlement of Kochav HaShahar cut short his year-long trip to the US with his wife. Although they were scheduled to arrive in Israel in a few weeks, they decided to return upon hearing of the Hamas massacre. Netaniel will likely have conversations with each of his six brothers out of eight who have been called up and will be participating in the upcoming war. "One of my brothers is in the regular army, while the others are in the reserves. So, my primary concern is for our parents. However, this is the moment, and we must step up to fight because our very existence is at stake," he said.

Mai arrived back from Thailand this morning, and his parents are still unaware of his return. Regarding the transition from his leisurely vacation a few days ago to his re-enlistment, he said: "It's a drastic change, but given the circumstances, I couldn't just stay in a hotel....

Some say that this is. After all the warnings that God has been sending us, telling us Jews to return to our only true homeland, from the volcanic eruption in Iceland that prevented Jews from returning to Israel after their "Passover vacations," to all of the incidents of anti-Semitism Jew-hatred, hatred of Jews and abroad over the years. The number of these incidents, murders, attacks, as well as protests, is only on the rise.

How many American Jews, trapped by the luxurious, materially opportunistic life offered by the U. S., will be able to escape?

Perhaps after the war, assuming this is not the final war, these Jews will return permanently bringing their families. Something sparked in them, prompting them to return. Perhaps that spark will rise into a flame.

How many will be trapped in darkness, like the 80% left behind in Egypt.

We shall see.

Besides Jews returning home, guided by the spark within their souls, here is another piece of good news.
Translation of the YNET report above:
7000 foreign workers left, Israel offers grants to those who will stay in agriculture
Thousands of foreign workers have left the country since the outbreak of the war, about 1,900 are Thais from the Otaf who were the main labor force in the farms: "They were the first to be hurt, some were murdered or kidnapped. Nevertheless, most of them want to stay." To prevent another departure, Israel offers, among other things, financial incentives and the possibility to extend the residence visas
Itamar Eichner | October 21, 2023
Maybe we will learn from this not to trust foreign work[ers] (double meaning: foreign work = foreign worship) and especially in agriculture, in other words, food production. Unfortunately, the population authority of the Interior Ministry is looking to provide grants for those foreign workers who choose to stay. (MOI Hebrew)

More bad news...
Times of Israel Live Blog: As foreign workers head home amid war, ministry says West Bank Palestinians aged 60+ will replace them
Carrie Keller-Lynn, October 22, 2023

The Agriculture Ministry has expressed support for the daily entrance of some 8,000 West Bank agricultural workers to Israel, in light of the high number of foreign workers who have left Israel due to the ongoing war. (cont.).
What is this? Evil? Stupidity? Or are we so hard up for food, we need to invite more enemies into help with the harvest?

Well, at least the Yitzchak Rabin memorial has been cancelled this year (TOI).

In the meantime, we are waiting for more positive outcomes of the war, however painful and heartbreaking it has been so far, and, unfortunately, will continue to be, as long as the Israeli Government continues to avoid what needs to be done once and for all.:

For the African refugees infiltrators to runaway, such as those from Sudan and Eritrea.

For all those non-Jews to run away, who were allowed to immigrate to Israel under the Law of Return, such as those from the former Soviet Union. I will never forget one I met in 1997 who said that he was not Jewish, came to Israel for his FREE Master's degree, then intends to move to Canada.

For all those refugees to run away, the non-Jewish ones, which I imagine are the majority, who recently arrived from the Ukraine.

For the descendants of the Erev Rav to run away. This refers to the descendants of the "mixed-multitude" (Ex. 12:38), those false converts who left Egypt with us. Sure I would prefer that they would do teshuvah (repentance), and prove me wrong, but...

In 2007, Avraham Burg, the former Speaker of the Knesset (Labor), and former Chair of the Jewish Agency recommended that every Israeli should obtain a foreign passport (The Marker). He himself received a French passport, though his wife. In addition, he also expressed being in favor of redefining Israel as a Jewish state. I guess every Erev Rav descendant has already requested, and received a foreign passport.

Israeli Members of Knesset [MK] are required to renounce any citizenship they posses besides Israeli, before taking their seats. Perhaps Erev Rav MKs will succeed in their search for countries willing to grant them asylum.

Incidentally, Israeli Supreme Court President Esther Hayut also just happened to have stepped down. I wonder why, and why now.

Crazy times. Considering how treasonous and unabashedly anti-Jewish the far Left had become, it doesn't surprise me that we have this terror war...

At the beginning of statehood when they were ilding up the land; agriculture, etc., it
seemed it wasn't so necessary to invite outsiders (those who are not Jews) to help them.
Maybe if they didn't become so jealous and desirous of the flambouyant lifestyle of the nations, but instead behaving as true Jews, they would understand better than having invited in outsiders who could be spies, infiltrators, etc. The leaders (all leftists Erev Rav) made sure, including the so-called Jewish Agency that brought in so many goyim and said they can be Jewish if they want, sold their souls (if they have any) to the nations, which was the goal of the erev rav since they left mitzrayim millenia ago, to make sure that eventually they would deJudaize the people and the Land.
The real true Jews were soon put in their place and those dedicated to H' were ejected from the knesset or eventually murdered by the savages, many of whom were just doing the bidding of higher ups. It's an ugly story which must be exposed daily and might have some influence on the younger generation which has been corrupted by drugs, alcohol, the immoral lifestyles, etc., etc.
This latest carnage should be a wakeup call but who knows. Praying for H's Mercy.

Very interesting article. Good to know the Israelis came HOME.
But the foreigners???

What does this say about who these foreigners are:
Taba (A.S. Begin) - 11,382
Jordan River - 5,868
Haifa Port - 5,176 Araba (Rabin) - 2,144
Allenby Pass - 1,095

Batya,
Yes. Pretty much.

Moshe,
Well-said. Don't forget to send me your email address in a comment (which will not be published).

Neshama,
"36,151 foreigners entered Israel."

Excellent question. No idea.
