Israeli Leftists: "Jews, Stay In France!"

י״א לחודש האחד עשר תשע״ו
Arutz 7: Labor voters don't want French Aliyah?
Supporters of Zionist Union and Meretz do not welcome immigration by French Jews, surprising poll finds.

Gil Ronen, 1/19/2016

Most of the people who voted for the Zionist Union (Labor / Hatnua) and Meretz would not encourage French Jews to immigrate to Israel, a surprising new poll found.

The poll, which is cited in conservative-nationalist website Mida, was carried out by pollster Prof. Avraham Diskin under the auspices of the Shaarei Mishpat college of law.

The respondents were asked – "Would you recommend to a close friend or relative in France, who is well-off as far as status is concerned, to make Aliyah to Israel?"

Most of the people who vote for the right-wing responded affirmatively. A total of 64.5% of Jewish Home voters said "definitely yes" or "yes, I think so," as did a total of 57% of Likud voters. The rest chose "I think not" and "definitely not."

However, most left-wing voters appeared to prefer to see the Jews stay put in France. Only 46% of the Zionist Union voters selected the positive answers, and among Meretz voters, only 17% would have encouraged the hypothetical French friend or relative to make Aliyah. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
I have been saying this for years, that the term “Zionism” has long since been hijacked. But, the re-invention of the term by the [un-] Zionist Camp of Herzog and Livni is only the tip of the iceberg.

Pining for a land for the Jews, any land, even Uganda, pushing for German to be the official language of such a land, and the collaboration with the Nazis by the so-called “Labor Zionists” should all be clues to the fact that the current application of the term “Zionism”’ has absolutely nothing to do with Zionism.
Using the word "Zionist" to re-brand the Labor party and Tzipi Livni's Hatnua was a brilliant move, opines Akiva Bigman in Mida, but Livni and Labor head Yitzchak Herzog may be "stretching their own definitions anew." If the majority among the group they represent does not recommend making Aliyah, this looks like "a new kind of Zionism," which "recommends that Jews remain in the Diaspora, while the minority that remains in the Land of Israel calls Obama every time it wants to build a new porch."
Hijacked.

At least “post-Zionists,” like Yossi Beilin, who declare that there is no longer any need for a Jewish state, are intellectually honest on this point.

Anyone who has not yet seen this, must wake up, and admit that they have been living mental and spiritual exile, or have succumb to the anti-Zionist indoctrination brainwashing, or most likely both.

Of course, the Left does not want French, North African, tradition and religious, Jews to make aliyah, and it is not just because of their views, and the way they will undoubtedly vote. The Left does not want to build up the Land. The Left does not want a Jewish state. The left wants an assimilated, Western progressive, potential member of the European Union, just like all of the previous Labor “Zionists.” In other words, they want a non-Jewish nation, just like the rest of the goyim, an accepted member of the globalist (ie. anti-nationalist) community.

Why can only so few Jews see what is so obvious to anyway, looking back at our history, and paying attention to the news?
Some in the nationalist camp have long suspected that the reason the Left has been less than exuberant in calling on French Jews to make Aliyah is that most of these Olim are Sephardic Jews with traditional, right-wing views.
Oh sure. The secular, Ashkenazy elite was perfectly happy to welcome (religious and traditional) Moroccan Jews into Eretz Yisra'el, so that they could enlist in the IDF, and take up the place of a more privileged Jew from North Tel-Aviv.

Liberal, secular, Ashkenzy Jews racists? You had better believe it.

In this week's Torah portion, B'nei Yisra'el see the miraculous parting of the Red Sea, and because of it, escapes the wrath of Pharoah and his soldiers.

Members of the Labor (AKA "Zionist Camp") and Meretz Parties are not only telling French Jews not to cross the Red Sea which has been parted for them, but are also telling them not to leave Egypt in the first place.

Those found in our history, who forsake our Divinely Promised Homeland, include the Erev Rav (Ex. 13:18) and the Meraglim (Num. 13-14). Take your pick.

But, I suppose that I should be grateful of those like Gil Ronen who are exposing this stuff, albeit too little, too late.

The only reason that a topic like this has made it into the mainstream news media, is because it has become too obvious to hide. Unfortunately, the indoctrination into this new "Zionism" is going to take some time, or some dramatic event, to wear off.

But, no one should be in the least bit surprised by the results of this survey.

And until, the so-called "nationalists" call for at least the encouragement of more Torah observance within Eretz Yisra'el, I will continue to view them as being in the same category.

Another Law to be Used Against Jews

צום החודש השביעי תשע״ו

Times of Israel: PM to push for mandatory minimum sentences for rock-throwers
After fatal Jerusalem attack, Temple Mount violence, Netanyahu to propose legislation at emergency meeting Tuesday

Times of Israel Staff, September 14, 2015

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is considering fast-tracking legislation that would introduce mandatory minimum sentences for suspects convicted of throwing stones and firebombs.

According to a Channel 2 report, the PM will propose the legislation at an emergency cabinet meeting Tuesday evening, once the Jewish New Year holiday is over. The meeting will address deterrent measures against rock-throwers and will be attended by Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon, Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan, Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked, Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein and representatives from the security forces.

The emergency meeting comes after a series of violent incidents over the holiday, including a rock-throwing attack that led to a fatal car crash in Jerusalem Sunday night and riots on the Temple Mount.

The prime minister sees incidents of rock-throwing and firebomb attacks against Israeli citizens as very severe and intends to fight this phenomenon with every available measure including stiffening punishments [for such crimes],” according to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office. Alexander Levlovitz, the man who died when he lost control of his car and crashed after terrorists threw rocks at the vehicle in Jerusalem. Levlovitz died early in the hours of Monday morning, the first day of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, on September 14, 2015. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Let us not forget that there are "Arab Israeli" citizens, in addition to Jewish Israeli citizens.

What will happen when there are clashes instigated by Arabs, and Jews have no other way of defending themselves but with rocks? The Jews will be arrested and the Arabs will go free.

How much do you want to bet that if this proposed law law passes, it will be applied differentially to Jews and Arabs. While shady if not absent eye-witness testimony will miraculously convict Jews of rock throwing, Arabs will be easily let off the hook for the same crime?

Gee, I wonder what those rocks are for?
Arab sitting in a mosque on Har HaBayith (Temple Mount).
Border Police police attempted to arrest suspects in the murder of Alexander Levlovitz, and were met with violent resistance on the part of local, Arab residents. Will there ever be a time when Arabs will be let off the hook, for the sake of police safety, while compliant Jews will be hauled in, arrested in the middle of the night?

Already, police have been known to avoid certain Bedouin clans in the Negev, fearing for their lives, thus the Israeli Government gives Bedouins defacto autonomy.

Earlier this year, two police officers were trapped in their vehicle, and on the verge of being lynched, in Rahat. Rahat is an Arab city in the northern Negev. It even has a train station, not what you would call out in the middle of nowhere.

The proposed law is also supported by opposition leaders Tzippy Livni (non-Zionist Camp) and Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid). So, my guess that the legislation will pass, and be spun on both sides of the aisle as a victory, perhaps even hailed as a victory in the struggle for unity.

Meanwhile, Jews will be targeted. But, they will call it a victory anyway.

Before making a new law, maybe the Israeli Government should try enforcing the laws it already has.

Can a Rabbi Get Fired for Criticizing the State of Israel?

י״ג לחודש השמיני תשע״ה

I have previously criticized the infusion of Hellenist democracy, or in Israeli's case deMOCKracy, into the Rabbinate, as one of the various strategies employed to chip away at the Torah.

The following is a report on yet another way in which the deMOCKratic State of Israel is attempting to chip away at the authority of the Torah,...and WE have been allowing it!
Life In Israel: Proposed Law: Firing a city rabbi
Yesterday the Knesset passed the first reading of a law that will allow a city rabbi to be fired.

According to the law, if it should pass into law, will allow the Minister of Religious Affairs to fire a city rabbi if he is not performing his duties and responsibilities properly. The firing would have to go through a committee that will be made up of dayan appointed by the Minister, a city rabbi appointed by the head of the Rabbanut Religious Council, a legal adviser of a government ministry. If the committee will investigate and deem the suspicions valid, they will be able to recommend to the Minister to fire the suspected rabbi.

Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Rabbi Eli Ben-Dahan says this is necessary because there are such rabbis in the system but the system has no ways or tools to deal with them. This law will increase the level of trust the public has in the rabbis. Ben-Dahan also said this law was prepared in coordination with Chief Rabbi Dovid Lau.

The Haredi parties do not like the law proposal. They don't like the possibility that a rabbi will be fired by a politician. MK Uri Maklev asked if judges have a similar system by which they can be fired. MK Yitzchak Cohen compared Habayit Hayehudi to Titus who destroyed the Beis Hamikdash. MK Aliza Lavie is dissatisfied for another reason - the committee is made up of men and they will protect other members of the club. Lavie wants the committee to include women.

Ben-Dahan responded to the Haredi MKs saying that during the rule of Shas, there was a decrease in rabbis, while he, Ben-Dahan, has appointed 69 new rabbis, to date. As well, Ben-Dahan asked them why they are concerned to protect and defend rabbis who don't fulfill their responsibilities but continue to take payment.

The first reading of the law passed by a vote of 54-11.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
At first I just thought this was another chipping away at the Torah, in favor of Hellenist, Erev Rav-controlled deMOCKracy.

Of course, I still do. In fact, I believe it to be a major attack on an already ransacked and unrecognizable "Torah style" of the State of Israel. We all know what "kosher style" means,...not in the least bit kosher. So, you should easily be able to determine exactly what I mean by "Torah style."

However, I also believe that this law contains the additional intention of increasing the "divide and conquer" as is suggested by the paragraph I have highlighted above. Or in the case of the Israeli Government, "keep divided and keep conquered."

Rabbi Yitzhaq Yosef and Rabbi David Lau
Israel's Chief Rabbis
Rabbi Ben-Dahan
Ben-Dahan apparently thinks that more is automatically better. In reality, though, this is just a continuation in the same ol' Religious Zionist vs. Haredi, "us vs. them" power struggle.

What Ben-Dahan appears to fail to realize is that the real "them" in the "us vs. them" is the Erev Rav controlled government. The "us" should be those who stand by the Holy One, Blessed Be He, and His Holy Torah. That is, those who stand by the authority of the Torah, even in the face of Israeli laws which contradict it.

Rabbi Shmu'el Eliyahu
Chief Rabbi of Tzfath
Rabbis, such as Rabbi Shmu'el Eliyahu of Tzfath, have been called "extremist," and demonized for this not only recognize the authority of The Almighty's Torah, but dare to declare this fact publicly, and encourage support for it. Rabbi Eliyahu's critics have not only included Justice Minister Tzippy Livni, as one would expect, but also Mamlakhtim (diehard, religious State loyalists), and the ever "nosing into Israeli affairs from the diaspora" Rabbinical Council of America [RCA].

Apparently, someone forgot to tell the RCA that...
אין תורה כתורת ארץ ישראל - בראשית רבא.
There is no Torah like the Torah of the Land of Israel. - Bereishith Raba
But, I digress...

Will Rabbi Shmu'el Eliyahu be the first to fired by a government committee, for not "not performing his duties and responsibilities properly?" Apparently, this clause was authored by the Supreme Council of Vagueness.

Or, perhaps, "they" will go after Ashkenazy Chief Rabbi Dovid Lau for daring to suggest that aliyah, immigration to Israel, be reserved for only those who are permitted to do so, according to the Torah,...Jews, according to the Torah definition of Jews, which flies in the face of the Israeli "Law of Return," which currently allows all those with at least one Jewish grandparent to immigrate.
(Tip: The Torah Revolution)

Surely, the only rabbis the Erev Rav controlled government is willing to tolerate are those rabbis not only willing to tow the government line, but those who actually delusional enough to believe in it.

For now, that is.

Stay tuned!

Netanyahu: Jerusalem Is Under Attack

מוצש״ק פר׳ נח תשע״ה

YNET: Netanyahu: Jerusalem is under attack
Palestinians continue to inflame tensions in east Jerusalem as prime minister orders massive reinforcement in capital after consultation with top security echelon.

Noam (Dabul) Dvir, October 23, 2014

"Jerusalem is under attack," charged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday, less than 24 hours after a terrorist plowed through a crowd of Israelis at a Light Rail station.

The prime minister convened a security consultation at the Jerusalem Police headquarters with the internal security minister, the chief of police, the head of the Shin Bet, the mayor, and the regional commander – as rock throwing incidents continued across the capital.

Netanyahu ordered the assembled officials to emphasize Israeli sovereignty over all parts of Jerusalem using massive reinforcements.

"Jerusalem is not the only city under attack by terrorists; other cities across the world are, as well. But the offensive in Jerusalem is supported by the chairman of the Palestinian Authority, Abu Mazen, who glorifies the murderers and embraces the group they belong to – Hamas," said Netanyahu.

Netanyahu used the occasion to remind world powers of the threat posed by terrorism. "Against these acts we face international flaccidity. But there is no such weakness here. We will stand strong for our rights and our obligations to protect our capital."

Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, however, urged moderation in Israeli officials' public statements after the incident. "Condemning Abu Mazen's inciting remarks is justified but is not enough. We must also stop the tempestuous declarations, the irresponsible legislative proposals, the provocative construction, or the dead-of-night celebrations over buying homes in Muslim areas."

Livni emphasized self-restraint. "We have a massive responsibility. We one step away from the nationalist conflict turning religious – from the Israeli-Palestinian conflict converging around Islam. Now is the time to act wisely and responsibly. That responsibility falls upon the shoulders of both sides."

President Reuven Rivlin, who spoke at the Haya's funeral, said that he saw at the cemetery "the terrible pain of the baby's family."

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Justice Minister Tzippy Livni (HaTenu'ah) criticizes the celebration of the misswah to redeem Eretz Yisra'el. Yes, it is a misswah, and so much so, that certain activities not allowed to be performed on Shabbath, are regarded with leniency for the sake of this misswah. Apparently, not only does Livni complete disregard such notions, she has already summarily decided that parts of Eretz Yisra'el do not even belong to us. How much longer with we stand for "self-restraint." That is same strategy that the Israeli Government employs most of the time. But, where has it gotten us?

It it the same old "hammer the Arab square pegs into the circular, Western hole" approach all over again. In other words, the secular, Ashkenazy controlled government persists in treating Arabs as if they are secular Ashkenazim. They are not. They are Arabs, with they own culture. Just pick up the Tana"kh (Bible) or mesekheth of Talmud, and you will see countless examples of Arab (Yishma'elite) culture. They understand force of strength, not "dialogue." This strategy has proven its success over and over again, in War of Independence (1948), the Six Day War (1967), and the Yom Kippur War (1973).

PM Netanyahu
On one hand, Netanyahu occasionally declares the truth be announcing, "If they could, the murderers would eliminate all of us – and this simple truth must guide the entire international community."

Yet, those of us who put two and two together and arrive at the answer of four, are demonized as racists, as extremists. It was an Arab who just killed a three month old, Jewish baby, and not the opposite. Even though representatives of the U. S. Government insist on calling the her death the result of a "traffic incident," it was a terrorist attack.

On the other hand, Netanyahu stands by, and watches the double standards which continue to prevail. Arabs continue to build on "disputed" lands without any permits. But, as soon as a dispute magically comes to light, buildings having stood for 13 years, are destroyed in a heartbeat. Arabs continue rioting and destroying artifact on Har HaBayith (Temple Mount). Even though they are the ones who are allowed to pray there, while Jews are not. The Arabs riot; it is the Jews' fault.

Why? Political correctness? Downplaying the truth to the public? Placating the "international community," our Prime Minister cares so deeply for?

Furthermore, no matter how hard Netanyahu tries to convince the "international community," especially those members also under attack from Muslim violence, to identify with Israel, it never works. He fails to understand that we stand alone as a People, with only The Holy One, Blessed Be He, on our side.

Meanwhile, President Rivlin has got a lot of hutzpah (gall) speaking at three month old Hayah Zisel's hy"d funeral, having just addressed the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities at a special conference on “From Xenophobia to Accepting the Other.”
“The tension between Jews and Arabs within the State of Israel has risen to record heights, and the relationship between all parties has reached a new low. The epidemic of violence is not limited to one sector or another, it permeates every area and doesn’t skip any arena.

“I too have been exposed to verbal abuse every time I post something on my Facebook page which doesn’t sit well with one group or another. It is time to honestly admit that Israeli society is ill – and it is our duty to treat this disease.”
Israeli society has got a disease alright, but it is not xenophobia. Rather, the disease is that of self-destructive ideation and its resulting self-destructive behavior, often manifested in a dual diagnosis with the either the disease of assimilation or co-dependence.

Keeping Judea and Samaria will not be Determined by Israeli Public Opinion

כ"ו לחודש השנים עשר תשע"ד

Arutz 7: Public Opinion Key to Keeping Judea and Samaria, Experts Say
Gershon Mesika
Ahead of Thursday's academic conference on the Disengagement, and in light of peace talks, experts note the power of the public eye.

Tova Dvorin, February 25, 2014

The first-ever academic conference studying Israel's Disengagement from Gush Katif will commence Thursday. In light of the historic event, Arutz Sheva spoke to prominent political strategist Eyal Arad and Samaria (Shomron) Regional Council Chairman, Gershon Mesika.

Arad, who will be one of the main speakers at the conference, noted that the main lesson from the horrors of the Disengagement is how a bad idea can be "sold" to the public so easily (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Sold to the public?

Whoever said that the expulsion of Jews from Azza (Gaza/Gush Qatif) was successfully sold to the Israeli public?

The prime minister at the time, who might not even have been Jewish, held a referendum of his only Likud Party members. 63% voted against his plan. So, he broke off from the Likud, and formed the Kadima Party with arrogant, power-hungry Likud and Labor Party MK's, such as current Israeli President Shimon Peres and current Justice Minister Tzippy Livni (HaTenu'ah). The prime minister then did what he wanted anyway.

Mesika with Enoch Adeboye, nicknamed "The African Pope."
Mesika's Assistant David HaIvri and Likud MK Ayoub Kara
accompany them, August, 2011
In 1993, the vote on the illegal, Oslo [Death] Accords was bought for only two, brand new cars.

The public opinion regarding the forced expulsion of Jews from Azza was stolen. The opposition, including its representative rabbis, was never allowed the forum to express itself, as if that even mattered. The vote took place long ago,...on Mt. Sinai.

If anything, it was the Israeli public's learned helplessness which clinched the deal.

To think that Israeli public opinion has ever had any influence over the agenda of the Erev Rav-controlled, Israeli Government is insane.

Repeating the same mistakes over again, expecting different results." - the definition of insanity, attributed to Albert Einstein.

Whether Gershon Mesika was speaking out of gross naivete, control by the YeSh"A Council of Collaborators, or someplace in between, only time will tell.

Who is the "Common Israeli?"

כ"א לחודש האחד עשר תשע"ד

Livni: Bennett Speaks for 'Settlers' - Not the Common Israeli
Livni attacks Bennett over assessment of two-state solution on Israeli economy, claims he prefers 'settlements' over Israel.

Tova Dvorin, January 21, 2014

Justice Minister Tzipi Livni sharply criticized Economics Minister Naftali Bennett Monday, after the Jewish Home party leader remarked at a faction meeting that a Palestinian state would "crush" the Israeli economy.

"The Economics Minister must decide if he represents the Israeli people, or just the residents of isolated settlements," Livni insisted.

"In these trying times, when both left-wing and right-wing businessmen are deeply concerned about the future of the Israeli economy, the person in charge of that economy actually prefers to listen to extremist Rabbis," Livni claimed.

"The role of a responsible, Zionist leader is not to side with policies that isolate Israel and damage the economy and every Israeli citizen, but instead to push for a political agreement which could advance Israel's status in the international community, strengthen Israel's economy and security, and secure a Jewish, Democratic state."

Earlier Monday, Bennett had stressed Israel's need to maintain its borders and independence for economic growth, despite mounting pressure from the European Union and others to divide Israel in the face of boycotts.

During his speech, Bennett demonstrated on a map what the borders would look like if Judea and Samaria were given to the Palestinian Authority (PA), showing that the region provides access for missiles to fall on the center of Israel, especially the Tel Aviv area.

"Imagine if just one missile per day fell on Herzliya Pituah, what that would do to Israel's economy. If even one plane which was supposed to land at Ben Gurion Airport crashes (due to terrorism) per year, it would crush the Israeli economy," he elaborated.

"We have had economic pressures placed upon us - I'm not denying it," Bennett fired. "There may be a budding boycott movement, but why should we give away our land because of it? Why should we divide Jerusalem because of that?"

The European Union has been unrelenting in its criticism of Israel's construction in Judea and Samaria. The EU promotes boycotts of products made beyond 1949 Armistice lines, and has effectively redrawn Israel's borders to those lines in policies to its member states.

Recently, the EU has gone so far as to offer "unprecedented" aid packages to both Israel and the PA in the event that a two-state solution - and a withdrawal - results from negotiations.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Economic Minister Naftali Bennett does make a compelling counter-argument to Livni's co-dependent slobbering over goyshe (non-Jewish), economic threats, as well as the European Union's capitulation to bribery.

Unfortunately, it is the only argument that Livni and her ilk are willing to hear.

He even bridges his economic argument to maintaining Israel's territorial integrity.

Livni's complaint about Bennett preferring to listen to "extremist" rabbis is just silly. I WISH that he preferred to listen to "extremist" rabbis!

But, what really captured my attention in the report was Livni's description of the "common Israeli."

Settlers are not like the common Israeli, huh?

Well, it appears that the Arabs disagree with you.

PA President Abbas's vision for "Palestine:"
Israel's complete eradication,...including Tel-Aviv.

ALL "Israelis" are settlers. Why hasn't Justice Minister Livni gotten that yet??

Time and time again, survey after survey has described the average Israeli as...

1. Right of center, politically
2. Traditional, if not religious. And, by the way, more than half of Israeli fourth graders are now Haredi or Religious Zionist.
3. Against any territorial concessions.

So, who is not the common Israeli?

Well, I suppose everyone else,...and that includes Tzippy Livni.

Shimon Peres Isn't Through with Politics?

י"ד לחודש העשירי תשע"ד

Arutz 7: Diskin’s Denial: I’m Not with Peres
Former Shin Bet head denies his attacks on Netanyahu are a prelude to going into politics with Peres.

Maayana Miskin, December 15, 2013

Former Shin Bet head Yuval Diskin has denied reports that his repeated criticism of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is a prelude to entering politics.

Diskin was rumored to be planning to go into politics with a new political party currently being formed. President Shimon Peres has also been rumored to be involved in establishing the new party.

Diskin has been harshly critical of Netanyahu’s response to talks between the West and Iran, and of reports of high expenses at the Prime Minister’s Residence.

In a post to his Facebook page, Diskin denied that his recent criticism of Netanyahu - among other things, he called the Prime Minister "weak" - stemmed from personal political aspirations. He also rejected the suggestion that he slammed Netanyahu out of frustration that he had not been appointed to head the Mossad.

“Yes, I agree that I am frustrated – because I am a citizen who cares,” he wrote. “I’m a citizen who had a very long career in the defense establishment, sometimes on the front lines… And more than anything, I’m a father to children, two of whom are currently serving in elite IDF combat units, and the third will join them soon.

“So I feel that I have a few shares in this country (as do we all), and as a share-holder, I definitely care, and if I have something to say – I’ll say it!” he continued.

“But it’s a long way from here to deciding to go into politics,” he wrote.

Diskin wrote that he is enjoying his new career in hi-tech, and added, “I have no political ties to former Prime Minister Olmert, or to the imaginary party that President Shimon Peres (whom I admire and respect) is establishing, or to Yair Lapid who I have never – ever – met or talked to… I am not politically connected to any of those people, period.”

With that said, Diskin did not rule out a future in politics. “What will be in the future – I don’t know,” he said.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Former Shabba"k (General Security Service, ie. "secret police") chief Yuval Diskin hints to current Israeli President Shimon Peres's potential re-entry into politics.

"Diskin has been harshly critical of Netanyahu’s response to talks between the West and Iran," yet he has also "called the Prime Minister 'weak.'"

Can you make sense of these two statements? I certainly can't. Unless, Shimon Peres is interested in secrets, and Diskin probably possesses many, even I would suggest that he stay far away from Dikin as a political partner.

A year ago, current Justice Minister, and chief "Peace Piece Process" negotiator, Tzippy Livni (HaTenu'ah) tried enlisting President Shimon Peres (Kadima) into her new party. He said no, as did a handful of others. She ended up winning six mandates, three times as many as her former Kadima Party received. Perhaps, Peres wanted to wait this one out, and complete his term as President, while taking his time to see how the dice fall.

Still, I do not see why Shimon Peres needs an official position anyway. He has the power already. Could it be his ego? His need to know that We know he is the one in charge? I cannot say.

I would be surprised if the K'nesseth does not make up a new position, specially designed just for Shimon Peres,...like King. May The Almighty have mercy on us!

In any event, I will hazard a guess that we have not seen the last of Shimon Peres in the political arena.

More Proof that Israel's Chief Rabbinate isn't Jewish

מוצש"ק פר' כי תצא תשע"ג

Esser Agaroth (2¢):

"Anointing?" Was that really the verb used, or was it a mistranslation for "installing?"

I am too afraid to check it out for myself. No, not afraid,...disgusted, really.

I have already posted about how the Israeli Chief Rabbinate is not Chief, a Rabbinate, nor even Israeli. Now, I am afraid that I will have to point out that the Israeli Chief Rabbinate is not even Jewish. Puppets with conflicts of interest, chosen by deMOCKractic voting, to fill roles created by the British, glued onto the foundation of something Turkish can mean only one thing: NOT JEWISH.

But, that's not all!

The fact that Shimon Peres is involved with this non-Jewish ceremony, erases ALL doubt whatsoever that the Israeli Chief Rabbinate is not in the least bit Jewish.

Silly, absurd, paradoxical, nefarious, and diabolical are just a few of the words which come to mind upon seeing Shimon Peres presiding over the non-Jewish ceremony to appoint men to non-Jewish roles on a non-Jewish body.

"Keep your friends close; keep your enemies closer." So, since the Torah is Shimon Peres's enemy,...well, you get the picture.

The only question I have about the so-called Israeli Chief Rabbinate is who will succeed in getting their strings wrapped around them first.

P. S. Minister Livni gets the most points here. She dresses more modestly than women in certain Jerusalem, "religious" neighborhoods. Sure, she didn't cover her hair. But, hey, no one's perfect.

We should be patient with our fellow Jews, struggling to find their way back to Torah, even if they do not yet know that is what they are trying to do, and even if un-Jews like Shimon Peres stands in their way.

Livni vs. Bennett over "Women of the Wall"

י"ג לחודש השלישי תשע"ג

Arutz 7: Livni: I won't let Bennett decide on Kotel
Gender war in the Cabinet? Justice Minister says she won't allow Minister of Religion to decide on Women of Wall.

Gil Ronen, May 15, 2013

Livni = White
Tzipporah = Bird
Tzippy Livni = "White Bird"
Justice Minister Tzipi Livni announced Wednesday that she will not allow Minister of Religion,Naftali Bennett (Jewish Home party), to solve the Women of the Wall (WoW) controversy by promulgating new regulations for Kotel prayer.

"I am informing you of my principled stand on the matter, before you make any new regulations," she announced, in what she said was a letter that she sent to Bennett. "I accept the court's decision and I, too, believe that it will make a meaningful contribution to the advancement of women in Israeli and religious society."

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
How many times to I have to point out to everybody that the so-called "Women of the Wall" are not the problem? I guess a lot.

Livni:
"The advancement of women in Israeli and religious society"
"Advancement" is a synonym for "progress," the good ol' Western/assimilationist, galuth (exile) mentality buzz word. The left (and center, and right) consider the religious, particularly Haredim and the ideological settlers, founding hilltop communities and working on agricultural pursuits to be "primitive," and in need of some sort of psychological help or "rehabilitation." After all, "they" don't look like us, they don't act like us, and they certainly don't think and feel like us.

I wish that Haredim and this brand of settlers would finally wake up and get together on more issues than they already have. And, yes, they have made a little bit of progress in this direction.

Bennett:
What has Minister of Religious Affairs Naftali Bennett done so far to show that his focus is on Torah, even though he heads the "Jewish Home Party," formerly the "National Religious Party?"

Not much.
Bennett: Having difficulty keeping his kippah on.
What has he done to prevent Prime Minister Netanyahu's building freeze building in Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria)?

And what does Bennett's plan for carving up Eretz Yisrael (the Land of Israel) look like? Not really any different from Arafat's ysh"w.

So, what should make us think that any "plan" (read: "compromise") regarding the so-called "Women of the Wall" would be any more Torah-focused?

Absolutely nothing.

Conclusion:
Livni vs. Bennett

Bennett vs. Livni

Either way you slice it, it all comes up the same. This illusion of a real disagreement will result in a another illusion of resolution, and the K'nesseth will end up rubber stamping what the Erev Rav Israeli Supreme Court essentially, already legislated from the Bench.

These women will be able to do whatever they want, even at the "democratic" expense of those who disagree with them.

Evyatar Borovsky HY"D: A picture is worth 1,000 words.

כ"ב לחודש השני תשע"ג

Before.

And after, encountering an Arab terrorist at Tapu'ah Junction int he Shomron (Samaria), not to far south from his home in Yitzhar.

Evyatar Borovsky's son hugs his father's body at his funeral.
Meanwhile, in the K'nesseth, the Israeli Parliament...

One leftist MK Michal Roisin (Meretz) didn't feel that Evyatar Borovsky's murder warranted even a mention, during a committee meeting.

One Yishma'elite (Arab) MK Jamal Zahalka (Balad) refused to condemn Evyatar Borovsky's murder, stating that "Settlers had no right to self-defense."

Let me tell you something, my Jewish brothers and sisters: Tel-Aviv residents are also "settlers."

PA "President" Mahmud Abbas's (Abu Mazen) vision of Palestine,...Tel-Aviv included.
Two K'nesseth Ministers, Tzippy Livni (HaT'nu'ah) and Yitzchak Aharonovitch (Likud-Yisra'el Beteinu) decided to form a discussion of how to deal with Tag Mahir ("price tag") a Jewish activist organization, kn ow for its aggressive tactics toward Arabs, and which may or may not even exist.

This, after a Jew gets killed by an Arab?

For this, I bothered to vote three months ago??

If a picture is worth 1,000 words, then the three pictures above tell you everything you need to know about what is really taking place in Yehudah (Judea) and the Shomron.

You Voted For Netanyahu And Got Livni

ערב שבת קודש פר'תצוה/זכור תשע"ג

(Title Credit: Yaad Greenberg)

Remember how those of you who voted for Ariel Sharon, and ended up with Shimon Peres?

Remember how those of you who voted for Bibi Netanyahu, and ended up with Ehud Baraq?

Well, it looks like we are getting another "surprise" almost a month after the elections.
Arutz 7: Livni Will Not be a Part of Next Government
A report in Haaretz said that Netanyahu had made clear to several of his senior staff that no talks were taking place with Tzippy Livni

David Lev, December 27, 2012

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu tried on Wednesday to limit the damage from news reports that he was planning to set up a coalition with Tzippy Livni as a chief partner. A report in Haaretz said that Netanyahu had made clear to several of his senior staff that no talks were taking place with Livni or other members of her “Hatenua” (“The Movement”) party, and that the chances of her joining the next government with him as Prime Minister were nil.

“Livni managed the negotiations with the Palestinians poorly,” Netanyahu told ministers, the report said. “Her entire stance is wrong and unacceptable to me.” (cont.)
And, now?
YNET: Likud Members: Livni Will Block Rightist Legislation
Tzipporah = "bird;" Livni = from the word for "white"
Ruling party officials slam Netanyahu, say coalition agreement gives Hatnua leader too much power. Habayit Hayehudi: Putting negotiations in hands of woman who was responsible for Gaza disengagement plan make it hard for us to join coalition

Moran Azulay, February 20, 2013

The first coalition deal, which granted Hatnua Chairwoman the justice portfolio and put her in charge of the peace negotiations with the Palestinians, has irked many Likud members, who claim she was given excessive powers in exchange for her willingness to join Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu 's new government.

Knesset members from the ruling party said that should Hatnua also head the Ministerial Committee for Legislation, the centrist party would thwart all 'rightist' initiatives. (cont.)

The Bayit HaYehudi (Jewish Home) Party is one to talk.  Those who voted for Bennett (Jewish Home) got Lapid.   Even some in the Likud are concerned about this.

YNET: Likud: Bennet Will Bring About Leftist Gov't
Stalled coalition negotiations see political finger-pointing gain speed as rightist parties butt heads

Tzvika Brot, February 17, 2013

The cooperation between Habayit Hayehudi Chairman Naftali Bennett and Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid has the Likud up in arms, as officials in the reelected ruling party blamed the former of hindering the coalition talks to the point where it may force the formation of a left-wing government. (cont.)

So, we have already been down this road how many times??

Really, now, I am very surprised that anyone is surprised by this.

MK Elazar Stern? Oy!

ראש חודש השנים עשר תשע"ג

Wait a minute!  How did this guy sneak in, and how could I have missed it??

Former Maj. Gen. Elazar Stern is now Member of Knesset Elazar Stern!

He is part of Tzippy Livni's break-off from the Kadima Party, the party of which she lost the leadership.  He serves with fellow "stars" of Israeli politics:
  • FAILED Labor Party Leader Amran Mitzna
  • FAILED Labor Party Leader and former Union Leader Amir Peretz
AKA: "Let's shut down the country and have a tantrum"
  • Musical chairs party member and minister Meir Sheetrit
And who is the Elazar Stern of whom I speak?

From Elazar Stern's Wikipedia page:
MK Elazar Stern
As head of Human Resources Stern has overseen a program to convert non-Jewish IDF troops to Judaism. He has also led the integration of hesder units, homogeneous units of Orthodox male soldiers combining yeshiva studies with military service, into mainstream units. While criticised by some religious Israelis that the action was meant only to prevent insubordination of religious troops during the Gaza pullout, Stern maintains that it is better for the troops.

On October 14, 2005, Stern and his family were assaulted in Jerusalem while praying at the Western Wall in protest of his leading role in expelling Jews from the Gaza strip.
Esser Agaroth (2¢) Analysis:
Convert non-Jewish IDF troops - These IDF conversions have been nick-named גיור לייט  (conversion - light),...in other words, "just one calorie."  You do the math.

I am sure that there are good and true converts resulting from this program, but are all of them?

Integration of Hesder units - Translation?  Destruction of the hesder military yeshiva system. There was criticism, for Gaza ease, and for other reasons

Better for the troops - Yeah, better for the IDF leadership to maintain control of the troops,..."for their own good," of course.  Blah, Blah, Blah.

Assaulted...while praying at the Western Wall - A sometime guest of Rosh Yehsivah Aharon Binah of Netiv Aryeh in Jerusalem's Old City, Maj. Gen.Stern would pray at the Western Wall.  The incident mentioned above included Stern's being cursed out by a well-respected Hakham (Torah scholar) one who would certainly not behave in such a manner without good reason.  This Hakham's views and opinion of Stern were probably discounted, due to his lack of undying State loyalty.  After all, the mamlakhim (undying religious State loyalists) refuse to see any conflicts between the Torah and the State's laws.

Hakhamim, such as the one above, who hold Torah in higher regard that the State, are considered dangerous by the likes of Elazar Stern.

The fact that Stern is a member of Livni's left of center/left wing HaT'nu'a Party ("The Movement") makes perfect sense to me.

The fact that he wears a kippah does not.

Who's Afraid Of Jeremy Gimpel? I Am!

י' לחודש האחד עשר תשע"ג

I was debating as to whether or not I should add to the highly undeserved publicity which publicity whore and K'nesseth candidate Jeremy Gimpel has been receiving lately.

The ruckus began with the rejection the Bar-Ilan Students' Union of Jeremy's participation in a multiparty debate, hosted by that university.
Arutz 7: So, Who's Afraid Of Jeremy?
Bar Ilan's student union apparently did not want Bayit Yehudi's Jeremy Gimpel in a debate.

Gil Ronen, January 16, 2013

Bar Ilan University's Student Union did not want Bayit Yehudi to be represented by Jeremy Gimpel in a three-way debate hosted by the Union Thursday. The reason, according to Bayit Yehudi campaign manager in the English language, Jeremy Saltan, is simply that Gimpel is too effective a debater, and someone on the other side is afraid of him. (cont.)

For the record, I disagree with the decision of Bar-Ilan University's Student Union.  Even though Israel is a deMOCKracy, it really should keep up the appearance of free speech.

What concerns  me a lot more than the above semi-censoreship is the fact that democracy has nothing to do with Torah, and thus Judaism, and the except, of course, inside the head of a "galus rabbi."

Hmm... I do believe I recall Mr. (Whoops!  I mean "Raaaaaaaabbi") Gimpel himself using this term on his former radio show on Arutz 7 with his buddy Ari.

Jeremy may have apologized for this very grave lahson hara'.  Nonetheless, calling the head of a special committee of Israel's Chief Rabbinate a "galus rabbi," with a listening audience of thousands, is no small thing to be brushed under the table.  The fact that there were non-Jews among the listeners only made the Hillul Hashem even worse.

Yes, ladies and gentleman, Jeremy apparently has a piece of paper stashed away somewhere saying that someone "made him" a "rabbi."

Believe me, when I tell you, though, that Esser Agaroth will be one of the last places you will find this lover of ovdei avodah zarah (practitioners of foreign and forbidden worship) called a "rabbi."

I'm sorry, but I'm supposed to call a protégé of Stevie Wonder,* or even someone remotely connected to him, a "rabbi?"

I think not.

The next stage in the publicity orgy excitement was when an old video of Jeremy's mysteriously surfaced only days before the election.  How convenient!

Gee.  I wonder how that got leaked ended up into the hands of journalists?
JPost: Bayit Yehudi Hopeful's Temple Mount Quip Starts Row

Gil Hoffman and Daniel Clinton, January 19, 2013

In 2011 video, Jeremy Gimpel addresses US Christian crowd, says "it would be incredible" if Dome of the Rock was "blown up."

Tzipi Livni's Movement party said Saturday that it planned to request the disqualification of a Bayit Yehudi candidate from running in Tuesday's election after a video emerged of him speaking of the Dome of the Rock being “blown up”.

The clip, which was first uncovered by Channel 2 television, shows the 14th candidate on the Bayit Yehudi list, Atlanta native Jeremy Gimpel, addressing a group of Christian Zionists in Florida in November 2011. (cont.)
While Tzippy Livni and other insane Jews and un-Jews were wailing over one of (in my opinion) Jeremy's rare moments of clarity, yet all too frequent, sensationalist theatrics, I was focused on the real concern of this JPost expose:
Asked about the connections of his Landofisrael.com to Messianic Christian organizations, Gimpel said: "We have a policy of staying away from Jews for Jesus groups. Our major donors are Jews. We don't take money from Christian organizations, but we do accept money from individuals of all backgrounds."
According to one of my sources, who has successfully infiltrated Jeremy and Ari's Christian Circus of the Stars, this is how Jeremy is able to make the above statement with a straight face.
"...is he and other Jews like him will go and speak at churches or they will speak in a public hall, which xians are invited to attend.  They do not "pay" them but they take up an "offering" or donations and that money is given to the speaker."
Did you notice that Jeremy never said that they did not have any connections to Christian organizations?  He only said that they did not accept money from them.  And I just demonstrated how easily they could get around that, if they so choose.

Oh, yeah, and who was connected to Jeremy and Ari's show in the U. S.?

Getting back to the part about the Temple Mount, Jeremy continues with:
Gimpel states in the clip, “Imagine today if the golden dome, I’m being recorded so I can’t say blown up, but let’s say it was blown up, right, and we laid the cornerstone of the Temple in Jerusalem. Can you imagine what would be? None of you would be here. You would be going to Israel. It would be incredible.(cont.)
This part was also, undoubtedly, not in the least bit disturbing to most Jews.  Yet, I would still like to know why e? "None of you would be here. You would be going to Israel."

Is Jeremy suggesting that they would all be on their way to Israel?

It's possible.  after all, non-Jews did make offerings to the Temple.

However, their filthy avodah zarah was most unwelcome, and certainly not invited onto Judaism's Holiest site!  On the contrary!  The punishment for such practices within the Land of Israel could be said to be worse than Jeremy's vision for the mosques on the Temple Mount!

But, Jeremy's attitude here does not surprise me, though.
"They [Christians] are our lost brothers in Abraham!"
...is a direct quote from Mr. Gimpel's mouth, heard by no less than two witnesses.

No, Jeremy, they are not our "lost brothers in Abraham."  They are descendants of Esau, who believe that they are the true inheritors of HaShem's favor AND His Land!

Our Sages z"l teach us that עשו שונא ליעקב - Esau hates Ya'aqov (ספרי במדבר פיסקא סט ד"ה), yet we never learn. Instead we are continually fooled by Esau's next choice of weapon. We fool ourselves into thinking that this time it will somehow be different.

During the Crusades, the weapon was the sword, just like Esau tried to kill Ya'aqov.  Now the weapon is the smile, just like how Esau tried to kiss Ya'aqov, and convince him to come home with him.

Jeremy is No. 14 on the list of candidates for the Jewish Home/National Religious Party.

Now ask yourselves, if Jeremy Gimpel gets into the K'nesseth, who exactly will be whispering in his ear, hmm?

Be afraid.  Be VERY afraid.

*Rabbi Shlomo (Steve) Riskin, of "Rabbi Jesus" video (ימח שמו וזכרו) fame, was nicknamed "Stevie Wonder," way back when, by some students at Yeshiva University, after expressing immense pride in figuring out how to turn something which might have been assur (I forget which inyan) into something mutar.

For more information, search on YouTube for "Riskin Rabbi Jesus," view at your own risk!

Update:
Just as I was sending this post out to readers, I received a mass-recipient request from Ari Abramowitz to disseminate a video response of Jeremy's.

Yeah, right!  As if!

How ironic, don't you think?

Kvelling Avigdor And Grinning Bibi

 ערב שבת קודש פר' וארא
ערב ראש החודש האחד עשר תשע"ג

Israels' Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor Lieberman (Likud-Yisrael Beiteinu) with his granddaughter
My granddaughter's Kindergarten visited the K'nesseth as part of a project.  Without a doubt, getting a hug like this from a granddaughter in the middle of a workday gives me great moments of happiness.
Prearranged photo opportunity?

Maybe.  But, it's still clever, even cleverer that Tzippy Livni's attempt to have parents identify with her having a son in the IDF, and on the the front lines.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu (Likud-Yisrael Beiteinu) has snowball fights with his family, in yet another shameless photo opportunity precious, family moment captured on film.

Too bad it's a month too late.  This could have made the cover of a great Christmas Hanukkah card.
