Why is David Chai Chasdai Sitting in Jail?

English follows the Hebrew.

"All of us are with
the Prisoners of Zion"

All of us are with the Prisoners of Zion:
The Israeli Supreme Court has decided to leave David Chai Hasdai in detention until final court proceedings imprisoned behind bars for all of his "offenses."

David Chai spoke with friends he was forbidden to by the Shabba"k (Israeli secret police), which was implemented without any court ruling nor any presentation of evidence.

David Chai joins other Jewish boys who are sitting in jail on suspicion of talking to their friends and thereby violating the administrative order they received without having committed any crime!!!

#NoMoreAdministrativeDetention
#NoMoreAbuseofJewishChildren
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
This is not the first time we have seen Jewish youth imprisoned for exercising their right to free speech, such as speaking to their friends.

Meir Ettinger was imprisoned for the articles he wrote, and probably also because he is Rabbi Meir Kahane's hy"d grandson. He was also forbidden from speaking with a list of 100 of his friends and acquaintances.

In the year תשס״ו/2006, months after the Israeli Government expelled almost 10,000 Jews from their homes and land in Gaza and the Northern Shomron (Samaria), three teenage girls from K'far Tapu'ah sat in prison because of their participation in demonstrations against the expulsion, and were also not supposed to be released until final court proceedings "because they will talk with the other residents of their town." And what was the problem if they were to speak with their neighbors? Because they might have influence over them.

OMG! (eyes rolling)

Perhaps those who still claim that the State of Israel is a Jewish, democratic state will wake up and see that this is not at all the case, and that there is no such thing here as "freedom of speech."

Unfortunately, the probably won't.

Invitation to the Bris of Meir Ettinger's Son

Esser Agaroth (2¢) Translation:
Meir Ettinger, a Jew and lover of Israel, has been in "administrative detention" for eight months. This week, Meir's first child, a son, was born, Baruch HaShem. The Shabba"k (ISA) and Israeli Courts refuse to allow Meir to participate in the brith milah of his firstborn son.

Abba will not be there. All of us will be there instead!

The Ettinger Family invites the public to the brith milah of their son which will take place with great happiness on Monday, 25 Adar II at the "Qahal Hassidim" Hall, HaSh'lah Street 11, Jerusalem (Sha'arei Hessed) at 2:00pm.

Why is Meir Ettinger Still in Jail?

Tablet: Let Meir Ettinger Attend His Son’s Bris
Meir Kahane’s grandson has been held under administrative arrest for more than seven months

Liel Leibovitz, March 30, 2016

The 25-year-old, who is the grandson of the slain rabbi Meir Kahane, was arrested by Israeli authorities more than seven months ago. He is allegedly suspected of playing a part in underground efforts to overthrow the government and establish halakhic rule in its stead. Despite the weight of the accusation, however, the state has, to date, produced no evidence to support its case, said Yuval Zemer, Ettinger’s attorney. Instead, it placed Ettinger under administrative arrest. A legacy of the British Mandate’s martial laws, this judicial tool, signed by Israel into law in 1979, allows the government to detain individuals for a period of six months, with three-month extensions thereafter for as long as is necessary, without presenting a suspect or his legal representatives with any concrete evidence of wrongdoing. Ettinger, then, remains under arrest, permitted only minimal contact with his lawyer and his family, and now, unless the government has a change of heart, denied partaking in his son’s bris as well. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Of course, there's nothing to judge. He is in administrative detention for writing articles which the State does not like and feels threatened by.

Furthermore, how can any Jew who identifies as "Torah-observant," himself not also agree with the eventual implementation of Torah Law across Eretz Yisra'el (Land of Israel)? Does he not also pray three times per day for the Ge'ulah (Redemption), and coming of the Mashi'ah?

Doesn't "Religious Zionism assert that we are supposed to be a part of this process? And although prayer and Torah study are crucial, doesn't Religious Zionism encourage us to do more than this, as participants in the process? Are we to encourage aliyah (immigration of Jews to Israel), observance of Shabboth, kashruth, tefillin, and family purity, and that is it, even though this is only a portion of the Torah?

Aren't all Religious Zionists at supposed to be talking about the eventually spread of Torah throughout the Land, and its eventual place as the ultimate authority on all matters? Or have I gotten Religious Zionism all wrong, and most of those identifying as Religious Zionists are not really Religious Zionists at all, and are actually Mamlakhtim, those who believe that there is no conflict between State law and Torah Law?

In any event, on one side of this conflict, we have a Torah-observant Jew accused of encouraging the overthrow of the State's government, and on the other side, the anti-Torah State. Given the evidence, or in this case, the lack of evidence, who are we supposed to believe?

I believe that the answer can be found in the Torah itself, where the answer to every other question can also be found.

Yehoshu'a ben Perahiyah and Nittai the Arbelli received it [the Torah] from them. Yehoshu'a ben Perahiyah says make for yourself a rav, acquire for yourself a friend; and judge each Jew favorably. (Mishah Avoth 1:6)
As politically-incorrect as it may be, the Ramba"m, and others teach that the word אדם/adam indicates "Jew" in this mishnah. R' Ovadiah meBartenura goes a step further, and says this refers to a "kosher Jew," those who believe in the Torah, and observe it.

The Ramba"m also states a time when we should do the opposite, and this is when dealing with a known rasha (evil person). In this situation, we should assume that he have evil intentions, even if his actions appear to be beneficial on the surface.

Granted, we do not determine halakhah (Torah Law), based on a single source alone. Nevertheless, I ask you, to whom are we to give kaf zekhuth (benefit of the doubt)? To the Torah observant Jew? Or to the State, which happens to have some symbolic, Jewish sprinkles on top, while implementing its anti-Torah agenda at every step of the way?

The main objective of the State's imprisonment of Meir Ettinger, under an old law from the British Mandate used to imprison Jewish freedom fighters, is to break him, and to demonstrate to the masses that the State's laws are greater than Torah Law.

Of course, the State will never succeed in this endeavor.

Meir Ettinger Hunger Strike

English version follows the Hebrew.

HaKol HaYehudhi (The Jewish Voice): First Published: Meir Ettinger hunger strike
After almost six months since he was arrested a draconian administrative order. "It's time to distinguish between friend and enemy" administrative detainee Meir Ettinger said yesterday (Tuesday), at the beginning of a hunger strike, in protest of the conditions of his imprisonment. (January 21, 2016)
Close to six months have passed since Ettinger, a married, 24-year-old, resident of the Shomron (Samaria), was arrested, and has been held in administrative detention, under signed order from Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon, without trial and without any evidence presented against him.

Evyatar Slonim and Mordechai Ben Gedaliah (Mayer) were arrested along with Ettinger. About three weeks ago, the General Security Service (ISA/Shabba"k) announced that the information that was relied upon to issue the Minister of Defense's signed administrative detention order, against Ben-Gedaliah was misleading. Thus, it was canceled, and he was released.

Ettinger has been in harsh prison conditions, in in solitary confinement, completely isolated from other prisoners. And as such, he has been forbidden to talk on the phone, except for a short period of time each day, and only with a few close relatives. The administrative order against Ettinger, is expected to expire on Thursday, 25 Shevat (Feb. 4).

Three months ago, Ettinger was forbidden to talk on the phone, and because of this, he began a hunger strike to protest the conditions of his detention. A week later, it was decided by the prison service to allow Ettinger phone access, with the specific restrictions, mentioned above.

Those close to Ettinger said that "the defense establishment, led by Defense Minister, did not know how to deal with a wave of terror, which claimed the lives of dozens of Jews and injured hundreds of others, and took advantage of arson in the village of Duma to take out some of those who do not think like them."

We hope that the security system will come around, and the State of Israel to distinguish between friend and enemy."
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
We have already seen Arab prisoners go on hunger strikes many times. And what happens to them? They get released.

And Jewish prisoners? What happens to them? I promise you that Meir Ettinger has no chance of being released, as a result of his hunger strike.

As a Jew observes Torah and misswoth, who sees The Holy One, Blessed Be He on a higher level than the State of Israel, and who regards His Torah as being on a higher level that human-made law, the State of Israel's security personnel regard him as an existential threat to the State, more so than Hamas, Hezbollah, or even Iran.

Let us pray for Meir David Hai ben Tovah's (Ettinger) speedy release from State custody.

Mordechai Mayer Released by Shabbak (ISA). Now What?

YNET: Released Shin Bet detainee: they wasted five months of my life
Mordechai Mayer, placed in administrative detention for five months on suspicion of belonging to the Jewish "Revolt" terror group, released to nighttime house detention and barred from West Bank.

Elisha Ben Kimon, 01.06.16

Mordechai Mayer, 18, from Ma'ale Adumim in the West Bank, arrested five months ago on an administrative detention order on suspicion of belonging to a Jewish terrorist organization was released last Sunday without being charged but was given a restraining order barring him from the West Bank.

Mayer was released the day the indictments were filed in the Dawabsheh murder case. He was arrested a few days after the attack on the Dawabsheh family home in Duma. "It was all a big lie from beginning to end," he told Ynet on Tuesday. "They just harassed me, just as they did to all the others who were detained."

Mayer was taken initially to Rimonim prison for two months and was then moved to Eshel prison. Also detained at the same time were Evyatar Slonim and Meir Ettinger, considered one of the main targets of the Shabak's Judea Brigade and the leader of the "Revolt" group. Ettinger is still in detention, and in the coming days it will be decided whether he will be released. As of now there is no knowledge of an indictment being prepared against him.

Mayer recounted that "six or seven policemen came for me in the morning, issued me with an administrative order and told me I was going to administrative detention. They did not let me take anything. They threw me right away into a cell without explanations. They hurled false accusations at me and did not let me speak at all. I feel that they have stolen five months of my life for nothing. There is a sense that they are hunting after those who wear a kippah and have peyot."

Mayer spent some of his time in detention with Slonim: "We mainly learned Torah together and strengthened our love of the Torah and the country", he said. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Mordechai Mayer has been released, after five months of incarceration, with limited access to counsel. The Shabbak, with support of the Israeli "justice" system, was able to keep him, and other boys, locked up, under the auspices "administrative detention," something left over from the British Mandate, which allowed the British to hold Jewish freedom fighters, whom they thought were threats to their maintenance of control over Israel, pretty much indefinitely.

Often these Jewish freedom fighters from organizations like Etze"l and Lech"i were turned over to the British by their fellow Jews from Ben-Gurion and Rabin's Haganah/Mapai.

The administrative detention and probable torture of these boys was even supported after the fact by the Defense Minister, the Justice Minister, and the head of the so-called "Jewish" Home Party himself, Naftali Bennett.

Anyone else see that history is repeating itself?

I am guessing the Shabbak actually does have a plan. Maybe the goal here was simply to crush them, and to scare anyone else who holds The Almighty and His Torah in higher authority than the deMOCKratic State. Maybe they actually think this was enough to scare the hilltop youth and stop them, at least temporarily. But, from doing what? I have no idea. Goatherding?

Better yet, perhaps they will simply wait, and observe, and monitor the chatter, and then decide upon their next step. The Israeli Government has a pattern of gathering data from its operations, large, and small, as well as orchestrated.

Moshe "Bogie" Ya'alon
Minister of Defense
On the other hand, "Bogie,...I am not so sure. All we know about him, is that he thinks that a "Torah State" is not something to work toward, and that those who do choose to work toward such a thing, are dangerous.

Or maybe, the Government intended to kill two birds with one stone. The State's representatives can now declare that they are perfectly ready to "do what needs to be done" to Jews, in an attempt to justify "doing what needs to be done" to Arabs.

Naftali Bennett

Of course, everyone involved on the State's side of this conflict, including "Jewish" Home Party head Bennett, has failed to consider one important factor: emumah (faith). This is what they are ultimately afraid of, and what they see as the ultimate threat to the existence of a secular, "democratic," State, a State which is increasingly unable to call itself even cosmetically Jewish.

"Bogie," the Minister of Defense himself, declared his belief that desiring a Torah State was a disastrous thing, and that those working toward such a goal were dangerous. So, what would he say to a Torah Kingdom instead of a State?

Torture is Acceptable When it is Against Jewish Dissidents

Arutz 7: ISA 'sexually harassed' Duma suspect
Attorney Itamar Ben-Gvir demands immediate end to investigation after suspect confesses under duress, calls for investigation into ISA.

Yoni Kempinski, 12/22/2015

Attorney Itamar Ben-Gvir, who is representing Jewish suspects arrested over the Duma arson attack in July, announced Tuesday morning that the main suspect provided evidence that the Israel Security Agency (ISA or Shin Bet) sexually harassed him during the course of their interrogations.

"The sexual harassment against my client damages all that is sacred to him, his values of Torah observance and the commandments," Ben-Gvir stated, adding that his client had been sleep-deprived for an extended period of time.

"After the interrogators passed the initial stages of interrogation and my client stuck to the truth, they simply received a license to kill," he continued, adding that the interrogators may have sodomized him. "At some point four thugs entered his room, beat him, and tied him to his bed."

"The descriptions are shocking and appalling: they tied him upside down and beat him again and again, until he screamed 'Enough! Leave me alone, let me go, I didn't do anything!'" Ben-Gvir said. "They broke him. I believe very much that there are doubts that any confession he made are usable in court. They beat him into a shadow of a person."
"The things my client said have no weight, because any person in this situation would admit to anything," he added. "I think that each and every citizen of Israel would admit the charges against him in this case."(cont.)
What does the Prime Minister say to this?
PM Binyamin Netanyahu
YNET: Netanyahu backs Shin Bet as right-wing protests continue
Ministers Bennett, Shaked and Ya'alon also come out in defense of the Israel Security Agency amid allegations of torture of Jewish suspects in Duma arson; 15 protesters arrested during demonstrations against Shin Bet.
YNET reporters, new agencies: 12.22.15
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement of support on Tuesday to the Shin Bet, condemning criticism of the agency surrounding allegations of torture used against the Jewish suspects arrested in connection with the arson in Duma that claimed the lives of three members of the Dawabsheh family.
Yoram Cohen, ISA Head
Is that a kippah on his head?
"Director Yoram Cohen and his personnel are doing important and excellent work for the people of Israel and for the security of Israel. I find the attacks on them to be unacceptable," Netanyahu said.
Jewish extremists have for years vandalized or set fire to Palestinian property, as well as mosques, churches, the offices of left-wing Israeli groups and even Israeli military bases. The so-called "price tag" attacks seek to exact a cost for Israeli steps seen as favoring the Palestinians. (cont.)
Well, YNET has certainly gotten that wrong. Jews want a Torah State Kingdom, not an assimilationist, Erev Rav-controled State, hellbent on battling against the Torah, destroying anything even remotely recognizeable as Jewish within the Divinely Promised Land of Israel.

Palestinians Arabs are only a small part of it.

The Prime Minister continued...
He called for the end of the "cynical political incitement against the Shin Bet and its people, who are acting in accordance with the law, with a close and strict legal guidance, and the investigation they are conducting is meant to bring uncurbed terrorists to justice."
Acting in accordance with the law? Which "law" would that be?

Here is a photo of a segment of a court transcript from the December 16, 2015 hearing of one of the imprisoned boys...

@AriWaxman
Translation:
Q: Do you need any medical treatment?
A: For my back, maybe.
Q: What is going to happen now, is that your lawyer will come in and ask questions!
A: I can't anymore (cries).
Q: They have requested an additional extension of detention a few more days. I should hear from your parents and your lawyer?
A: But they don't know what they're doing to me there, and entire night of abuse. I said to them they will kill me, and don't do that to me. Give me poison. I beg your honor, [I] can't anymore. (suspect cries)Q: I will hear the lawyer and the investigative unit's representative, and before I decide, I will call you.
Now, watch this video demonstration video from HaKol HaYehudi (The Jewish Voice), and see if you agree if these practices are "in accordance with the law."

Previous news reports indicated that the torture included being kicked in the genitals, until one of the boys could not feel anything. The message here is clear. The Erev Rav not only wants to castrate the power of their emunah (faith), but wants to stop them from procreating,...literally. This is what following the Torah, and giving it precedence of State law, will get you!

If the victims of ISA abuse had been Arabs, we were never hear the end of it. In fact, the ISA recently came out bragging at how well it treated, the now dead, Hezbollah leader Samir Kuntar while he was in custody.

And speaking of Minister Naftali Bennett...

Naftali Bennett losing his kippah and working his magic!

Kippah: Bennett concerning the investigation of the Duma detainees: Everything is within the law
The Education Minister attacked those with "price tag:" "This is terror which aims to destroy the foundations of the state. They are trying to bring about the War of Gog and Magog. [We] need to work against them harshly.

Efrat Krasner, 10 Teveth 5776, 22/12/15
...The Minister of Education also addressed to evidence of the handling of the interrogations by the ISA and said that the investigation is monitored and controlled, "We have heard a lot of things and I can say that the actions implemented are actions under tight legal control and supervision to prevent the next attack. We know [we can] trust the ISA, the ISA protects us every day from thousands of potential attacks and [you] need to trust it on this [course] of action as well...."

(Tip: The Jewish Libertarian)
Bennett, who just approved the building of a new Arab College (as if that's going to appease them) uses the most ridiculous, circular reasoning here.

Defense Minister Moshe "Bogie" Ya'alon
Defense Minister Moshe "Bogie" Ya'alon has already criticized Jews protesting the, now cancelled, destruction of a synagogue in Giv'ath Ze'ev, for wanting a Torah state. Apparently, he believes to be a bad thing.

Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked seems to think she knows some about Torah by randomly citing דרך ארץ קדמה לתורה "Appropriate behavior takes precedence over Torah." And I suppose that she thinks that it is OK not to keep Shabbath, too, as long as she behaves appropriately. Guess what. A Jew keeping Shabbath IS appropriate behavior. Food for thought.

And speaking of Torah, there is story regarding the outlawing of Rabbi Kahane's Kach Party in the 1980's. Then Supreme Court Justice Menachem Elon, father of Christian-loving, former MK Rabbi Benny Elon, and Beth Din convicted, sexual manipulator Moti Elon, told Rabbi Kahane hy"d that he did not know what Torah he followed, and that they followed different Torahs.

Israeli Supreme Court Justices
I wonder what "Torah" Bennett and Cohen follow. Honesty, it seems more and more, that they are just making up as they go along, meticulously replacing the Land of Israel with the State, the Torah with Israeli State Law, and the Supreme Court as the Sanhedrin, most of the justices disqualified from serving on a proper, Jewish court.

The Israeli Supreme Court, which supposedly has oversight over the ISA's treatment of those in its custody, is to blame. Just another battle in its anti-Torah agenda for Jewish People.

Actually, I take that back. They're all culpable, standing so proudly next to the flag of the State of Israel, none of them appearing to be experiencing any shame over this. What does that tell you about the "holy" State of Israel? Or worse, what does this tell you of the current spiritual state of the Jews allowing this to happen, even supporting it?

Please pray for the safety, recovery, and freedom of the following Jewish political dissidents being held prisoners:

On Rabbi Meir Kahane's 25 Yartzeit: Torah vs. State

Rabbi Meir Kahane hy"d
This Shabboth marked 25 years since the murder of Rabbi Meir David Kahane hy"d, at the hands of the FBI-handled El Sayyid Nosair.

For this year's yartzeit, I will take the opportunity to give you some of my impressions of Rabbi Kahane, based on a prompt from a friend on Facebook.

I love when I hear Israeli activists "talk tough" but stay away from Rav Meir Kahane's words because they view them as extreme. News flash, most of what Kahane said was about core Jewish values from the Torah. I guess all these activists know what is better for Israel.....*sigh*.

During this string, the issue of "coexistence" came up.

Rabbi Kahane’s position against coexistence was not based on emotions, as is so often the case in Western “progressive” culture, in other words the culture of American and European galuth (exile). His position was, and is, based on Torah reasoning, devoid of emotional influence. His emotions expressed in his speeches were due to his passion for the truth, and frustration over the inability of the Jewish People to see it.

Almost no one has been able to refute his halakhic (Torah legal) claims, falling back on name-calling and demonizing instead. Those who have attempted to do so, have done so with questionable arguments, or with arguments which have not held up to halakhic scrutiny.

Rav Kahane’s greatest “crime” was to quote Biblical verses and halakhic statements from the podium in the Knesseth. My favorite was his mention of the Ramba”m’s Laws of Kings and their Wars, chapter 3.
10 [9] ...needless to say, if the King rules the cancelling of a mitzvah, one does not heed him.
The mention of this is not just about whether non-Jews may reside in Eretz Yisra'el (Land of Israel), or marry Jews, issues for which Rabbi Kahane was particularly known, but any situation in which a strirah (conflict) exists between Torah Law and State laws, such as the giving away for Land and the throwing of Jews out of their homes.

Many mamlakhtim (die-hard State loyalists) have been taught that the Knesseth is a stand-in for the King today. So qal we'homer (even more so) does this halakhah apply.

In 2005, even “mainstream” rabbis such as Rabbi Avraham Shapira ztz”l, the late Rosh Yeshivah of Merkaz HaRav told soldiers not only to sit in jail, before throwing Jews out of their homes, but to be proud doing so. But the mamlakhti “rabbis” with the money and powerful publicity machine, not to mention the support from the government, quashed Rabbi Shapira's message, and continue to do the same to any rabbi attempting to point such conflicts between the Torah and the State. Thus most Jews outside of Jerusalem never heard that he said this, and when they finally did, most would not believe it.

It is no wonder that years before, Rabbi Kahane once said that sitting in jail for the sake of Am Yisrael (Torah, Eretz Yisrael, etc.) should be a requirement for being called “rabbi.” Machon HaMiqdash (Temple Institute's) Rabbi Yisra'el Ariel was one who fulfilled this requirement.

The very popular mamlakhti rabbi, Shlomo Aviner, who helped to throw Jews out of their homes in Azza (Gaza/Gush Qatif), referred to Rabbi Kahane as a “walking Sefer Torah.” I guess he was right about something.

Rabbi Kahane attempted to work within the system to facilitate the process of infusing Torah into the State of Israel, already in existence. In the end, he discovered that this was not going to work. Play by the rules, make gains, and the those in control simply change the rules.

Years later Moshe Feiglin (Likud), would also find this out the hard way. In the last election, MK's Eli Yishai and Yoni Chetboun (Yachad) were prevented from re-entering the Knesseth, because of thousands of fake balloting cards being smuggled into polling booths to replace the real ones. And so all of these votes, 12,000 of them were disqualified,…by the Arab judge, supervising the "fairness" of the elections.

Israeli democracy, or rather deMOCKracy, was time and again revealed to be nothing more than a hypocritical instrument in the maintenance of the citizens' loyalty to the State, above all other loyalties.

The Arab who killed Rabbi Meir Kahane may have done so, because of how he felt. The Arabs who killed Rabbi Binyamin Kahane may have done so for the same reasons. And the same could be said about the Arabs now threatening Rabbi Kahane's imprisoned grandson, Meir Ettinger. But in actuality, these Arabs are not trying to kill Jews, they particularly hate. Rather, they are attempting to kill the truth.

As the Ramba"m states...
Laws of Repentance 3:17
These three are deniers of the Torah: ...(3) and the one who says that the Creator has changed this mitzvah for another mitzvah, and has already cancelled this Torah, even though was from HaShem, such as the Christians and the Muslims, each of these denies the Torah.
Rabbi Kahane also warned Christian missionaries to stay away from Eretz Yisra'el.

The basis for the negative mitzvah of לא ישבו בארצך ("they will not settle in your Land") is to prevent kefirah (denial) of the truth from being present in the Land and influencing us negatively.

But, Rabbi Kahane's message was not just about about the dangers of coexistence with goyim, how it would not only not work, but how it would be the end of us. Rabbi Kahane's message went even further, and concerned the importance of Jews living according to Jewish principles (ie. Torah), and not the Western/non-Jewish principles we picked up over the last 1,700 years in the golah (exile).

As I write this, I wonder when Jews will realize the dangers of further attempts at coexistence between Torah and State.

With the Israeli Supreme Court calling the shots on one hand, and the Israeli Government using them as an excuse, if not overtly battling against Torah principles themselves, and the mamlakhti "rabbis" standing by to keep the wool pulled over our eyes, defending of their holy State, it seems to be a fairly futile cause, attempting to combine the two.

Unfortunately this is the state (and the State) in which we are currently living.

There is a conflict, and we are all going to have to choose.

Meir (ben Tovah) Ettinger, is sitting in administrative detention, without being charged, let alone having been indicted or convicted of any crime, because he has chosen loyalty to HaShem and His Holy Torah, rather than the State.

Esser Agaroth Year in Review

After a long hiatus, I have brought back my annual Top Ten Words and Phrases post, renaming it to the more precise "Year In Review."

Here is a look back at the significant trends of תשע"ה/5775. Let's just that I hope for a much improved תשע"ו/5776.

10. Refugees
Where from Africa or Syria, whether to allow them in to Israel or not, the Israeli Government seems to care more about "refugees," and what they can do to boost its public image and overall standing in the eyes or the "international community," than its own citizens.

Same thing, different word. 'Nuff said.

8. Women of the Wall
Yep! They're still around! The most, simultaneously hysterical and pathetic thing about the Hags of the Wall is that they have no clue that they're just being used as pawns. Unfortunately, they may be successful in convincing some naive, and perhaps disenfranchised Jews, that they represent anything even remotely related to Judaism.

7. BDS
Boycotting, Divesting, and Sanctioning Israel may just be the kick in the pants we need to wake up! Unfortunately, we Jews are too busy whining about it to notice.

6. ISIS
Israel is pretty surrounded by ISIS in the Sinai Desert, Azza (Gaza), Syria, and who knows what's going on in Jordan. We also have a suggestion here and there, that ISIS is already in Israel, having either sneaked in from abroad, or just inspired Israeli Arabs to join up via Internet.

ISIS Banner on the Temple Mount
Summer
No doubt, the Israeli government will take advantage of the ISIS threat as a means to show the Israeli public that it needs it to protect them.

Shimon Peres
5. Shimon Peres
Shimon Peres wants to give away parts of our Divinely Promise Land, join together Esau (The West) with Yishma'el (Arabs/Muslims), and encourage our assimilation into Western, "progressive" culture, the antithesis of Torah. Doesn't anyone else see this?

4. Jewish Terrorism
Fatah Emblem
(eyes rolling) Fear mongering by the Israeli government and it loyal minyons trying to scare the public into believing that Torah observant activists are equated with Taliban, Iran, and ISIS, and will take everyone's Western "progressive," assimilation "rights" away if they had the chance. Pseudostinians who kill Jewish babies are "freedom fighters" in the eyes of the world, and in the eyes of many Jews as well. PA President Mahmud Abbas's Fatah Party emblem clearly  shows its ultimate goal for the Land of Israel,...erasing it from the map. But, Jews daring to ask questions about authentic Torah observance are "terrorists."

3. Torah vs. State

This year we have more reports than I can remember regarding the conflicts between Torah Low and Israeli Law. But, instead of talking about the conflict, religious lackeys of the Israeli Government insist on arguing that any conflict between the two does not exist.

2. Iran
Iran still insists on wiping us out, and apparently, so do the U. S. President and Secretary of State.

Maybe it is time to turn for help to the only one who can actually do something to protect us from Iran, and I don't mean any human power either.

1. Meir Ettinger
Meir Ettinger
People see this name, and are scared. Why? Because he is sitting in jail without indictment, conviction or trial, and absolutely no evidence whatsoever of any wrongdoing? Because he wrote some articles? In other countries, one would expect him to be called a "political dissident." However, Meir Ettinger has the wrong religion, the wrong beliefs, and the wrong loyalties for that.

In case you interested in what Meir Ettinger has actually said, and actually believes, you can read it here for yourself, instead of relying on rumors and lies.

Mosques and Churches Burn! Everyone is Outraged! Synagogues Burn, Who Cares?

Synagogue Arson: Books and Tefillin are Undamaged
Employees discovered the fire at the 'rest stop' synagogue just off Highway 6 before it spread into the building.

Hezki Ezra, 8/16/2015

Arsonists set fire to a small roadside synagogue in north-central Israel before dawn in Friday, but the fire was put out before it could consume holy books and tefillin (phylacteries). The synagogue is located next to a rest stop on Highway 6, and enables travelers to make a “pit stop” for praying and then continue to drive down the major thoroughfare.

Mendi Makmal, Chabad's emissary at the synagogue, told Arutz Sheva that the report about the attack was received at 5:00 AM Friday. The same synagogue was burned to the ground in a previous arson attack, 14 months ago, and Makmal feared that the same thing had happened again. Happily, he was proven wrong.

"In the end it was the employees at the site who showed initiative, took fire extinguishers and water and succeeded in putting out the fire,” he recounted. “Thank God, the damage is only external, the tefillin and books remained whole, and only the walls and air conditioners were damaged. We will fix them and activity will resume with even greater gusto.”

Security cameras were installed after the previous arson, and the recordings are in the hands of the police, said Makmal.

While the synagogue is located near the Arab town of Baka al-Gharbiya, Makmal was not quick to point the finger at that specific community. “There are fields and orchards here and a person can approach from any direction. If you want to set the fire, you just have to cover your face and set the fire.”

Makmal said that the arsonists apparently had helmets on. They poured gasoline and set it on fire, and then got away. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Apparently, still no word on the analysis of the security camera footage. My bets are on Arabs.

Helmets? A professional job? Maybe. Well-planned out? Definitely.

This was second time this synagogue was set on fire in 14 months. It is "located near the Arab town of Baka al-Gharbiya," yet the rabbi "was not quick to point the finger at that specific community."

However, the rabbi did not rule out Arabs as the culprits either.

More importantly, though, where is the outrage?

Meir David Ettinger sits in jail under an old British Mandate legal action, called "administrative detention," used against Jews fighting for Israel's independence, cohorts of former Prime Ministers Begin and Shamir. Ettinger is being held as a suspect in the alleged arson of of an Arab's house, killing it's owner and infant son.

All evidence appears to be pointing to the consequences of Arab clan wars. But, has anyone recanting their scatching accusatory assumptions that it was Jews? Has any Israeli politician displayed regret for his calls for the death penalty?

A church was burned in the north, and the world is up in arms. Two additional young, Jewish men sit in "administrative detention," accused of the church's arson. But, at least one of them was with his parents at the time the fire started.

Naftali Bennett
...calling for the death penalty.
A mosque was burned down in an Arab village next to K'far Tapu'ah in the Shomron (Samaria), supposedly by Jews. A former neighbor of mine, another grandson of Rabbi Meir Kahane hy"d was taken in for questioning for about eight hours, before being released. Also named for his grandfather, Meir David is nice and bright, young man, as gentle as his father Rabbi Binyamin Kahane hy"d
A leftist professor had a pipe bomb blown up next to him. At least 15 Jews were dragged in for questioning, myself included. This incident still smells like a "false flag event" to me, an excuse to harass Jews who fear The Almighty more than the Israeli Government, and a chance to convince them to work for them.

Arabs burning synagogues, running people down with cars, buses, and tractors are either said to be "acting alone," crazy, freedom fighters, or sufferers of battered wives syndrome.

They go to jail, sit around, watch television and eat pizza, waiting their turns to be released in the next prisoner exchange, after which they can go out and kill some more Jews (May The Almighty save us from ourselves!).

Whereas Jews suspected of killing of killing an Arab, even without any eyewitnesses, let alone any evidence at all, sits in jail, with limited contact with counsel, if that, and are called extemists, and threats to the State's vary existence, and anti-Semites and self-hating Jews have a field day yelling out, "I told you so!" and comparing them to the Taliban and ISIS.

These young men are supposed to be "extremists," because they acknowledge that the Torah touches every aspect of a Jew's life, and not just "shabbos and kashrus shailos."

Whereas the bumbling idiots, hanging on with dear life to their seats of power, call themselves "Zionists," and have obviously forgotten what the term realy means, not to mention the actual origin of the concept, from thousands of years ago.
