Isaac "Bougie" Herzog: Still Not My Israeli President

The Jewish Press: President Joins Opposition Parties, Leftist Mobs, in Attacking Majority’s Judicial Reform
By David Israel - 17 Adar 5783 – March 10, 2023

President Itzhak Herzog has broken all the rules in an attempt to appropriate powers to which he is not entitled. The former Labor chairman––who will never forgive Benjamin Netanyahu who trailed behind him throughout the 2015 election campaign only to defeat him decisively with 30 Likud mandates to Labor’s 24––took to the airwaves Thursday night to add his voice to Netanyahu’s enemies on the left, demanding that the majority coalition abandon entirely its judicial reform legislation. It was more than chutzpah, it was sedition.

After the establishment of the state, David Ben Gurion opposed the very institution of the presidency, but gave in to his great rival Haim Weizmann, after Weizmann had succeeded in convincing President Harry S. Truman to recognize the State of Israel, reject the British plan to cut off the Negev from Israel’s map, and give Israel the loan it so direly needed. The Prime Minister simply had no choice, Weizmann––the elder Zionist statesman responsible for the Balfour declaration––had to be rewarded in grandiose fashion. But Ben-Gurion staunchly prevented granting any powers to Israeli presidents. This was tested immediately by the first president, when in November 1948, he wanted to send a telegram to Truman requesting American arms. Ben-Gurion blocked the move, and wrote Weizmann: “It is desirable to warn the President of the State Council that he cannot negotiate with the President of the United States…” Later on, Ben Gurion strove to deprive the presidency of all powers, and generations of Israeli presidents obeyed those constraints.

Until last night.

Last night, President Herzog alerted the major television channels that he had something important to say about things in Israel, and they all trained their cameras on him. From what we know, he never coordinated this appearance with the prime minister, who was conveniently on a state visit in Italy.

Herzog came on like gangbusters, clearly unabashed about taking sides in the political struggle... (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Who could forget former and now disgraced President Moshe Katzav's refusal to to express his opinion on the 2005 expulsion of Jews from Gaza and Northern Samaria? While visiting the city of Ariel in Samaria, Katzav was confronted by a resident of a Jewish town in Gaza, over her impending expulsion from her home. Katzav remained silent, yet reportedly shed a tear.

Who could forget former President Ezer Weitzman's wife having to kick him under the table, everytime he made a political faux pas?

And finally, who could forget former President Shimon Peres for brazenly crossing the line of his apolitical role as president? What? No one? That's because the elder statesman was given a free pass. Or perhaps, people who too afraid to cross him.

Peres set a dangerous precedent. His successor Reuven "Ruby" Rivlin definitely pushed boundaries, under the guise of embracing all of what he called "Israeli Society," essentially shoving any serious Torah perspective aside.

And now, we have Yitzchak "Bougie" Herzog, who cannot possibly deny that he has thrown away any sense of political neutrality.

David Israel's piece in The Jewish Press, cited above, elaborates on Herzog's shenanigans.

How ironic that those claiming to be fighting for democracy are openly violating Israel's own political structure, in order to prevent the complete revamping of... Israel's own political structure.

We have a fancy term for this, and for what we are also seeing from afar in the U. S., double standards.

Yitzchak "Bougie" Herzog is still not my President. In fact, he isn't anyone's president, since he has violated his own position's rules.

The only questions remaining are how long will he be able to get away with it? And how long it take for his leftist flunkies to turn on him?

After all, he is certainly no Shimon Peres.

Does Israel's Left-wing Actually Believe in Democracy?

English follows the Hebrew.

YNET: Far-right will drive Israelis to the streets en masse
Opinion: Incoming government is set to trample on the beliefs and values of the Jewish democratic state, and will discover that non-religious Zionists will not give in easily
Ari Shavit | 08.12.2022

Widespread protests are imminent. Israelis will chose to take to the streets, there is no way around it.

They are coming our way because Bezalel Smotrich, Itamar Ben-Gvir, and Avi Maoz do not understand the meaning of the election results.

Protests are coming our way because the far-right bloc thinks that it can use its mandates to do whatever it wants to the state and its people. Protests are coming our way because the devotees of democracy among us will not be willing to give up on a Jewish democratic state. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
"Jewish democratic state?"

We just elected a new government. The winners are now being appointing to cabinet positions.

The winners.

The losers, on the other hand, are crying foul. Why? Simply put, they did not get what they wanted. So now they are having a tantrum, and threatening to continue their tantrum in the streets, until they get what they want.

In 2005, the right took to the streets, because they... No. They got what they wanted. But, then the government which they wanted, and which they elected then betrayed them.

You voted for Sharon, and got Peres

...was a popular bumper sticker around this time. Almost 10,000 Jews were forced out of their homes by a so-called "Zionist" government. Tell me again how forcing Jews off of the Land of Israel is Zionist?

To make certain that then Prime Minister Ariel Sharon could get away with this, he held a referendum within his own Likud Party, whether his so called disengagement program (euphemism for expulsion) was supported or not. He lost, meaning his own Likud party members voted his Disengagement Plan down.

So what did he do? Cancel his plan to expel almost 10,000 Jews from Gaza? No. Instead, he quit the Likud Party, made his own Kadima Party with Leftist extraordinaire Shimon Peres and went about expelling Jews anyway.

Does that sound democratic to you? Did we hear anyone from the left complain about this being undemocratic?

Likud members and everyone else who voted for the National Union Party made up of Moledet, Tekuma, and National Religious Zionist Party (break off from the National Religious Party) understandably took to the streets. Because they did not get what they want, and had a tantrum about it? No. Because they did not get what they were promised by the government they elected. They did not get what the voted for. They were lied to, and they were betrayed.

As I have mentioned before, time and time again, the Left does not actually believe in democracy. The Left only believes in doing whatever it takes to get what it wants. And what it wants is what they have been striving for ever since we left Egypt, thousands of years ago, to be like all the nations of the world, to erase the separate and distinct nature of the Jewish People.

Their version of democracy is nothing less than vote stacking. They do not have enough votes to get what they want. So rather than producing more Jewish children, and thus producing more future voters, they bring non-Jewish voters into country.

While distorting the what the Torah actually says about strangers, refugees, and foreign workers, and justice, they also force upon us quickie conversions to Judaism, acceptance of Reform and Conservative "conversions," emergency conversions (whatever the heck those are!), and even their redefinition of "Who is a Jew?"

Tell me again how Zionism can mean building a homeland for non-Jews within the Land of Israel? I will tell you how. They call it Labor Zionism, the only Jewish organization by the Nazi regime in Germany recognized. They call it secular Zionism, which is simply an excuse to do what they want by hijacking the term Zionism from its original source, the Torah.

The New Price of Peace with Ishmael (Arabs)

English follows the Hebrew.

Green = Future "Palestinian" State
Shimon Peres used to refer to the victims of the Oslo [Death] Accords as the "price of peace."

The Trump Plan, the so-called "Deal of the Century," (pictured left) includes Israel handing over chunks of territory in the Negev, not the mention the rail and highway connections we would be expected to build for them.

The UAE Deal prevents Israel from even pretending that we have any control over our ancestral territories of the Tribes of Manasseh, Ephraim, Benjamin, and Judah, known too many as the West Bank of the Jordan River. Oh yeah, and besides flights to and from the UAE, allowing Israelis to shop at the largest duty-free mall in the world, and visit the tallest building in the world (eyes rolling), according to President Trump's son-in-law Yoel Chaim "Jared" Kushner, we get to have an unlimited number of Arab tourists visiting the Temple Mount, furthering their claim to it! Meanwhile, Jews are still not allowed to pray there, on our holiest site.

As far as we know, the Bahrain Deal yields flights between the two countries, and a barely recognizable possible acceptance of Israel's right to exist by the Bahraini. The most notable component of the agreement is yet another emphasis on support for the so-called Two State Solution. Read: ...emphasis on Israel's inability to lay claim to its ancestral homeland.

Meanwhile, I take it that the last remnant of Jews residing in Bahrain feel just that much safer in their Arab dwelling place. And worse still, feel the lack of any need to move to Israel, the only true, Homeland of the Jewish People.

And besides participation in the Jewish People's public castration, what else does Bahrain get out of the deal? A Torah Scroll (see above). Yoel Chaim, excuse me, but a Torah Scroll is not a souvenier or prize to hand out at parties. A friendly reminder: Under most circumstances, Jews are not even allowed to teach Muslims even the Written Torah.

Now, there are reportedly a handful of other Muslim countries standing in line to sign deals with Israel.

Sudan is one example. Sudan claims that as part of an agreement with Israel, it will repatriate its citizens who have been infiltrating our borders, raping and pillaging South Tel-Aviv (along with some Eritreans) illegal aliens and otherwise roaming around the country? I'll believe it when I see it.

So, what do we get out of these so-called deals? More love and validation for our existence from non-Jews?

How big will Israel be after a few more "peace deals?" And what of the claim of the “right of return” of those Arabs calling themselves "Palestinians?" Our only hope is how much the Palestinians Pseudostinians are looked down upon by other Arab nations, except for Jordan.

The King of the made-up country of Jordan knows all too well to be careful. The majority of his made-up country's population is made of these groups of Arabs (plural used here intentionally). His wife identifies as one of them. And 70 years ago, his father, the previous king killed at least 2,500 of them. There were members of terrorist organizations. Nevertheless, this King isn’t so stupid to get on board with this trend in peace agreements.

Then there is the issue of Israel functioning as the American military proxy in the region. I pray that my fellow Israelis will finally wake up, and realize what that means. Haven't we lost enough of our sons and daughters to war Arab terrorism??

It seems to me that the Arabs are learning from the Christians. First they learned how to lie differently from them, under Arafat ysh"w. Now, along with the increasing integration and assimilation of Arabs into Israeli society, they are learning how to kill us with kindness. Literally.

Is This Hanukkah?

Only Simchas: Watch: Obama Hosts His Last Chanuka Reception at White House Using Shimon Peres' Menorah

2016-12-14

President Barack Obama hosted his final Chanuka reception at the White House where a menorah owned by the family of late Israeli President Shimon Peres was lit.

The menorah is one preserved during the Holocaust by the Waldens, the family of Peres’ son-in law, and was used for years at family Hanukkah lightings.

“The menorah survived the Holocaust and was carried from Poland, to France, and finally, to Israel by the family of the Ninth President Peres’ son-in-law, Professor Rafi Walden,” said the statement. “The late Ninth President Shimon Peres, who was raised on Jewish values and traditions at the knee of his grandfather, Rabbi Zvi Melzer, lit the Hanukkah candles every year, and made sure that this special menorah held a place of honor in the Walden-Peres family.”

Peres’ son, Chemi, and granddaughter, Mika Almog, attended the ceremony, which you can watch below. The service was run by Rabbi Steven Exler of the Hebrew Institute of Riverdale. (Skip to the 45 minute mark)

The White House will also host an evening Chanuka reception starting at 7:35 p.m. EST, which OnlySimchas News will stream live online.
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
I am just beside myself over this report.

The event itself?

Not so much.

No real surprises here.

An American president, pushing for the removal of Jews from the Land Divinely promised to them, hosts a "Hanukkah reception" .

Barack Obama
An "Open Orthodox rabbi" participates, in what I can only assume is a demonstration of a Jewish holiday observance at the seat of Esau's power, and not an manifestation of לא תוסף עליו, ולא תגרע ממנו, the prohibition against adding and subtracting from the Torah (משנה תורה הל׳ ממרים ב,יג [ט]).

But, seriously? Did a Hanukkiyah really have to be lit? I guess the visual "special effect" was expected.

(I'll give you a topic. "Open Orthodox rabbis are neither open, orthodox, nor even rabbis." Discuss amongst yourselves.)

Shimon Peres
Shimon Peres, quintessential Erev Rav, believing in the removal of borders, chipping away at Torah, assimilation into a global community, and the unification of Esau with Yishma'el, is praised.

Hanukkah is about a war against assimilation, and against Jewish collaborators. Hanukkah is one of our most politically-incorrect holidays. But, you would never know it from such an event. Would you?

As pessimistic as this may sound, none of the above surprised me. Not in the least.

What did surprise me was that this event was publicized on Only Simchas.

Where is the simcha (happiness) in collaborating with the supposed leader of the Western world (Believe me when I tell you that there are quite a few individuals much higher up in the food chain that Barack Obama.), who, interestingly enough, who has a mother from Esau, and a father from Yishma'el.

It may be necessary for Jews to get along with their non-Jewish neighbors, and not cause trouble in their non-Jewish host countries. But, slobbering over and kushen tuchus (Google it!) someone who fought against The Almighty's Will for the Jewish People? Is this really necessary? No. But, like I said. This event did not surprise me in the least.

Where is the simcha in praising an individual who fought against The Almighty's Will for the Jewish People from within Israel? Using his family's hallowed menorah seems apropos.

Where is the simcha in potentially misleading uneducated and assimilated Jews regarding how to observe a Jewish holiday?

If you answered, "There isn't any" to the above questions, then you answered correctly.

The Kidnapped Yemenite Children Document Release

English follows the Hebrew.

YNET: Yemenite Children Affair documents to be released
Hundreds of thousands of documents relating to the disappearance of thousands of Yemenite children during the founding of the state are to be released on Sunday.

Moran Azulay, 12.11.16

After decades of struggling, the public may finally be able to have access to documents which deal with the investigations into the disappearance of thousands of Yemenite child immigrants on Sunday.

These children along with children, whose families originate in Muslim countries in the Middle East and the Balkans, went missing during the first years of the State of Israel.

Minister Tzahi Hanegbi will submit a proposal on the issue. As long as there are no last-minute roadblocks, hundreds of thousands of documents will be brought to light regarding this tragic period wherein thousands of children were allegedly kidnapped from their parents.

The minister is expected to request the government to put all of the documents on an internet site so that they will be easily accessible and so that the suffering of these families will finally come to an end.

The draft resolution indicated that the public interest must be taken into account when exposing these documents. This, in conjunction with court orders regarding the protection of privacy, and other secrets. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
The planned release of documents related to the kidnapping of non-Ashkenazy babies has been in the works for some time now. But I am not sure what to make of it.

Now that Peres is dead, will the real "truth" be revealed? Or will a planned continuation of the cover-up continue, with the release of documents filled with omissions and misdirection?

The above report continues with...
Several of the documents related to the issue won't be allowed to be published due to national security issues and personal privacy laws.
Well, I guess that answers my question, doesn't it?

Barry Chamish z"l

Barry Chamish z"l
A few days days ago, Barry Chamish passed away, in exile, apparently in his sleep, at the age of 64. I say in exile, as he spent his final years in the U. S., not in his beloved Israel.

Barry was one of the most demonized writers in the world, and for what? Because he put the truth out there, the truth many could not believe, and even more did not want to believe.

Of the headlines announcing his death,...
The Jerusalem Post discounts him.

The Jewish Press mentions his interest in alien encounters.

And Arutz 7 identifies him as a writer and conspiracy theorist (which he was). Nevertheless...
Barry was best known for his book Who Killed Yitzchak Rabin?, in which he exposes the inconsistencies in the investigation into the former Israeli prime minister's death, as well as the possible involvement of the Shabba"k, Israel's secret police, now re-branded as the ISA (Israeli Security Agency).

Barry was teased and mocked, even by friends of mine, and readers of this blog. Yet, even Rabin's daughter, former MK Daliah Rabin-Philosoph (Labor), has said that she does not believe we know know the full story of her father's death.

Barry was constantly criticizing another one of Israel's former prime ministers, as well as former president, Shimon Peres, accusing him of everything from involvement in irradiating Jewish children, giving away Israel's land through the Oslo "Death" Accords, collaborating with the Vatican to give them control of King David's Tomb and other properties, to involvement in Rabin's death.

Barry claimed that both he and his family had been threatened. The last threat to his life was a car accident, which wasn't an accident, claiming that an attending physician even told him so. This "accident" was the last straw for Barry, and he left Israel, claiming that it was for his own safety.

No, Barry did not get it right all of the time. He made mistakes, and I was one to call him on them. But, overall, his endeavors to expose evil were heroic.

But, as one well-known Jerusalem rabbi, controversial himself, and no fan of Barry's, once put it...

"Even if Barry Chamish is only 5% right, we're in big trouble."

http://www.barrychamish.com/

Barry's legacy also includes...

His attempts to bring the kidnappers of Yemenite Jewish children almost 70 years ago, to justice. "Coincidentally," one day after Barry's death MK Tzachi HaNegbi (Likud) announces the declassification of documents related to the investigation into these kidnappings. Do not expect anything earth-shattering from this declassification.

His ongoing efforts to expose those responsible for radioactivity experiments on Jewish children, mostly of North African origins.

His book Bye, Bye, Gaza, in which he recounts the inevitable Gaza giveaway, which so many Jews refused to see coming.

And, in my opinion, probably his most important work, his exposé of Labor Zionism, its collaborative efforts with the Nazis, its responsibility for the deaths of countless Jews, and its current endeavors to destroy the Jewish nature of Israel, from within, can be heard in this interview with Kerry Cassidy (August 14, 2012).
Also recommend are Dr. Daisy Stern's Barry Chamish ברוך דיין אמת - זצ"ל and Asking Some Hard Questions after Barry's Passing.

You can review his various other works on hi website BarryChamish.com.

Say what you will about Barry Chamish. But, he was brave, and said what needed to be said, which much more that I can say about so many others.

Israel Continues on the Path to Divide Jerusalem

My friend the Kalashnikover Rebbe had this to say about U. S. Vice-President Joe Biden's visit to Israel...
Posted by Kalashnikover Rebbe on Wednesday, March 9, 2016
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
The Kalashnikover Rebbe's questions are rhetorical, of course. They must be, because the answers are so obvious, at least to anyone in Israel, who has been paying attention. Nevertheless, I will address his questions point by point.
Joe Biden
Can someone 'splain me what Joe Biden was doing meeting Shimon Peres, at the Peres Center for Peace on an OFFICIAL Diplomatic visit?
1. Because Peres is the true overload of Israel, and Biden knows it.
Shimon Peres
Peres is not a member of the Israeli government, and the Peres Center is a supposedly non political NGO that is not in line with the ideology or positions of the Israeli government. What business does a US official have there?

2. None, but see the answer to Question #1.
How is such chutzpa tolerated?
3. Because the Israeli public has been successfully brainwashed, and is the quintessential example of learned helplessness.
How long will people like Shimon Peres continue to UNDERMINE the elected government of Israel to promote their nefarious agendas?
4. Probably until 120, but hopefully not for that long.
Why does the Israeli government tolerate this?
5. See answers to Questions #1 and #3. We vote for them.
The Oslo Death accords were the result of ILLEGAL treasonous meetings with the PLO behind the back of the Israeli Government. Now they just go and do it out in the open???
6. Yes. Because we're numbed out, and we let them.

Meanwhile, talk about dividing Jerusalem as a "solution" to Arab terrorism steadily increases, the three terrorist attacks upon Vice-President Biden's arrival even being used to support this cockamamie idea.

Arieh King
Jerusalem City Councilman Arie King has been warning us of the Israeli Government's plans for years. But, this has only fallen on deaf ears.

It is the same collective denial we saw in 2005/תשס"ה when residents of Azza (Gaza/Gush Qatif) refused to believe that the government would ever expel almost 10,000 Jews from their homes.

And look what happened there.

IDF Chief of Staff Disrespects the Talmud? Or Worse?

Arutz 7: IDF Chief of Staff dismisses Talmudic 'slogan'
Eizenkot questioned by high-schooler on open-fire orders endangering soldiers' lives, goes on to pooh-pooh famed maxim of the Jewish sages.

Ari Yashar, 2/17/2016

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gadi Eizenkot made a surprising statement on Wednesday morning during a visit to Bat Yam, in which he defended the army's controversial open-fire orders and brushed off the teachings of the Jewish sages.
Eizenkot (right) with Defense Minister Ya'alon, before his promotion last year.
During his visit to the city's cultural center which was attended by high school students, he said, "the phenomenon of terror accompanies Israeli society throughout the years, and there also were knifings years ago. It could be in Tel Aviv, in Otniel or Ariel. We see mutual influence between what happens in the Middle East with Daesh (ISIS) and what happens for us here (in Israel)."

One of the high school students asked Eizenkot whether he intends to change the opening fire procedures, arguing that the current orders endanger the lives of IDF soldiers and are stricter than ever.

Last August the orders were made even tighter, mandating soldiers in Judea and Samaria to only fire in the air, and not even shoot the lower extremities of an attacker other than in extreme cases of imminent life-threatening danger. In May, it was reported that IDF soldiers were told to avoid killing terrorists, even if they spot them as they are about to throw a potentially lethal firebomb or rock at a car.

But Eizenkot argued the orders don't need changing on Wednesday, and went on to disparage a famous Talmudic maxim on self-defense.

"The IDF cannot speak in slogans like 'when someone comes to kill you – kill him first,'" he said, citing the dictum. Eizenkot also dismissed as a "slogan" the following: "everyone holding scissors must be killed." Arab terrorists have conducted numerous lethal stabbings with scissors during the recent wave of attacks.

The Talmudic dictum was recently quoted by Chief Sephardic Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef last October, when he praised soldiers who kill attacking terrorists and lauded them for performing a mitzvah. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
The impression of Gen. Eizenkot we get from this report descends fairly quickly from a place of apparent naïveté to one of either ignorance or incompetence. It is hard to tell. Eizenkot does not even come off like a real general. Instead, he seems more like the caricature of a general.
In his visit on Wednesday, Eizenkot also spoke about the security cooperation with the Palestinian Authority (PA).

"There is cooperation with the Palestinian security mechanisms, there are 40,000 security personnel of this sort," he said, noting the large number of PA forces who were established and armed by Israel in the 1994 Oslo Accords.
The general is proud of this fact? That the State of Israel has been arming people who want to annihilate the Jewish People, and conquer all of Eretz Yisra'el, the Jewish Homeland, for its own?

Does he really mention the Oslo Accords as something which has shown itself to have been something positive to Am Yisra'el? It sure sounds this way.

Ari Yashar quite correctly points out that...
A growing number of the terrorists in recent attacks have proven to be PA policemen, in a disturbing trend that is being openly promoted by sources such as Hamas.

Following the 2000 Second Intifada or Oslo War, in which over 1,000 Israelis were murdered, PA officials later bragged that 70% of the attacks were conducted by PA Security Force members.
In a report from YNET, on the general's visit to the Bat-Yam cultural center, we are informed that he stated...
"The West Bank has thousands of troops operating amongst two million Palestinians and hundreds of thousands of Israeli citizens. We educate our soldiers to act according to the IDF's ethics and spirit, and it is much easier to work with Syria or Lebanon in this matter. If we were to act in an unethical manner in our rules of engagement, it would pose a threat to the IDF. There were 170 terrorist incidents in recent months, and more than 100 terrorists were killed in situations in which the troops had split-second decisions to make. I would not want a soldier to unload an entire clip into a girl who is holding scissors. Our troops are moral and we know how to preserve this quality."
Well, it no surprise that Gen. Eizenkot favors Western exile morality over Torah morality. In contrast...
...A week earlier senior Sephardic Rabbi Meir Mazuz urged Israeli bystanders to kill terrorist attackers rather than capture them alive, and Tzfat (Safed) Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu likewise warned not to let terrorists "survive their attacks," to prevent their ability to be freed and return to attack again....
To what "threat" Gen. Eizenkot is referring, which he believes would target the IDF, I have absolutely no idea. Nor, do I know what he means by "unethical manner." Defending oneself effectively against attack is unethical, and waiting until the last possible millisecond to defend oneself is ethical?

Fata"h Party Emblem
PLO Emblem
worn by Arafat ysh"w
Furthermore, Gen. Eizenkot has obviously never seen, or is, at the very least, oblivious to the maps which can be found the emblems "Palestinian" organizations. These are not even considered by the State of Israel as the extremists, but rather the mainstream "Palestinian" leadership.

Has he been living under a rock?

How does he believe these maps ended up on their emblems? By accident?

I do not know which would be worse, Gen. Eizenkot really seeing PA President Abbas's Fata"h Party differently from Hamas and Hezbollah, or him not seeing them as being much different from one another, but pushing such IDF policies anyway, which put soldiers at even greater risk than they already are.

Many will gladly point the finger at Gen. Eizenkot, knowing how obviously wrong and dangerous the IDF's open-fire policy is. But, the finger really needs to be pointed at those much higher up on the food chain, orchestraters of the Oslo Accords, such as Shimon Peres (left). Second on the list, should come Prime Minister Netanyahu (right), who has apparently been rendered powerless to do anything, by his handlers, both inside and outside of Israel.

Jewish lives clearly do not matter nearly as much as what the goyim will say.

Oh, and what about the State of Israel's chief military officer referring to a line from the Talmud as a "slogan?"

If this really shocks you, then you are the ones who have been living under a rock.

Three Jews Shot Near Beth-El: Same Old Response from the Government

YNET: Three wounded in shooting attack next to Beit El
Terrorist, a member of the Palestinian security services, arrives at checkpoint, exits car, and opens fire with a handgun, wounding two moderately-to-seriously and one lightly; he was shot and killed.
Elisha Ben Kimon, Yoav Zitun, Elior Levy,  01.31.16
Three Israelis were wounded in a shooting attack on Sunday morning at a checkpoint south of the settlement of Beit El in the Samaria region of the West Bank.
The terrorist, who arrived at the checkpoint by car from the direction of Ramallah, was shot dead by IDF troops at the checkpoint. He was using a handgun to commit the attack.
One of the wounded, 21 years old, was taken to the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem's Ein Karem in serious condition with a gunshot wound to his neck. His condition was later updated to moderate.

Another, 31, in serious condition, was taken to the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem's Mount Scopus with gunshot wounds to his stomach and extremities. The third, 20, was also taken to Hadassah in light condition after being hit in his extremities. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Shimon Peres
This attack reminds of previously shooting attacks, in which former Prime Minister Yitzhaq Rabin was blamed for having given weapons to the Palestinian Authority's [PA] police force.

In response, Shimon Peres has responded that the attacks were not carried out by the guns the State of Israel provided them, but rather with different guns.

Seriously?

Here is a video of one such accusation, from the heroic Jew who neutralized the Arab who shot and killed seven high school, and one post-high school, students at the Merkaz HaRav Kook Yeshiva, eight years ago on 30 Shevat (March 6, 2008). By the way, this Arab terrorist, was also employed by one of the yeshiva's suppliers. Actually, this accusation was waged against Shimon Peres himself.

No doubt that the Government's spin doctors will insist that the was fluke occurrence or a "lone wolf" attack. Even though...
...A-Sukari is not the first member of the Palestinian security services to commit an attack - Mazen Aribah of Abu Dis, an officer in the Palestinian security services, moderately wounded an Israeli civilian and lightly wounded a soldier in a shooting attack near the Hizma checkpoint outside of Jerusalem.
A third Palestinian security officer opened fire at an IDF force near Silwad, but did not hit the troops. He was caught and under arrest in Israel.
Or someone will say that this was an attack motivated by reasons other than ideological ones...
A source who knew the a-Sukari told Ynet that reason for the attack was the terrorist's serious financial problems. According to the source, a-Sukari was in serious debt to several different people, and was only making NIS 2,200 at his job.
Even though in the terrorist's own words, posted on Facebook, he wrote...
"A morning of victory. There is no god but God and Muhammad is the prophet of Allah. There is nothing worth living for on this land. Unfortunately I don't see anything worth living for as long as the occupation makes our souls disappear and kills our brothers and sisters. Have mercy on our martyrs, heal our wounds and release our prisoners. You came first and we, Allah willing, are following in your footsteps."
Meanwhile, exactly what is the Israeli Government doing to combat the belief that Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria) belong to anyone other that the Jewish People?

Hemming and hawing, and employing the use of various games of words and rhetoric.

But, don't despair! Minister of Education Naftali Bennett has a "plan," to further confuse the issue!

Sorry, but you can have this...

Or this (God forbid!)...

Fata"h Emblem
See the map?
But, not this...

Bennett's Plan vs. Oslo Death Accords
Can you tell the difference?

Mr. Netanyahu Goes to Washington!

Much can be gleaned from this report on Prime Minister Netanyahu's visit to the U. S., this week. See the interspersed blue italics to see how I read between the lines. In fact, to save time, I would just read the blue
YNET: Bad tidings await Netanyahu on US trip
On the eve of the prime minister's flight to Washington, sources in the White House warn that there will not be good tidings regarding Israel's compensation package for the Iran nuclear deal in his meeting with Obama, saying that Federal budget cuts are part of the issue.

11.07.15

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not be getting what he wants out of his trip to Washington, according to White House sources who spoke with the New York Times on Friday.

The sources claimed that Israel would not be getting an increased compensation package from the US government. Netanyahu is due to take off for Washington on Sunday in order to meet US President Barack Obama, the first meeting between the two since the signing of the Iran nuclear deal.

One of Netanyahu's central goals for the trip was to strike an agreement on a new defense deal for Israel for the next decade, including compensation Israel was supposed to receive in light of the Iran deal.

The White House sources noted that the issue would not come up in the meeting between Netanyahu and Obama, and furthermore claimed that any compensation would not be increased as had been suggested in earlier reports.

"There is no justification for an increased compensation package, especially in light of the Federal budget cuts and the current battle in Congress over the 'wastage' of the US government," a White House source said.
So, basically, U. S. President Obama either made promises which he was not sure that he could keep, is punishing Israel for its lobbying against the "Iran Deal" and "The Speech," or he just outright lied. It is probably a combination of all three.
It was reported this week that Israel requested that the US raise its yearly security assistance sum from the current $3 billion to $5 billion. Israel's first proposal was leaked to Reuters by an Israeli source.

According to the document, Israel had been pushing for the desired $5 billion yearly aid package to run for 10 years – amounting to a total sum of $50 billion. Obama is not expected to authorize this agreement, instead granting Israel a billion dollars less.

Also overshadowing the forthcoming meeting are the soured relations between Jerusalem and Washington following Netanyahu's repeated attacks on the Iran deal, as well as his speech to Congress on the matter.

Following the deal, Democratic members of Congress also had their invitations to a Rosh Hashanah press conference at the Israeli embassy in Washington canceled – solely for the reason that they had voted in favor of the Iran agreement.

The New York Times claimed that Netanyahu had changed the compensation package proposal and that he was traveling to Washington in order to try and heal the rifts in the US-Israel relationship.

However, the two sides still regard each with suspicion and mistrust.
It serves PM Netanyahu right. Even if the Prime Minister does not trust Obama, as he shouldn't, he erred in his calculations of his clout in congress, the power of American, pro-Israel lobbies, and apparently, the U. S. economy itself.
Obama does not believe negotiations will recommence while he is in office Obama does not believe that negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians will recommence before the end of his term in the White House, one of his senior advisors told a press briefing held ahead of Netanyahu's visit.

The advisor, Ben Rhodes, told reporters that in Obama's view, no peace deal would be reached by January 2017 – the date that he leaves the office of the president.

"Despite what we were wanting, we do not see the chance for a two-state solution at the moment," Rhodes said. "We tried direct and indirect dialogue, but each time we were at the point of taking a decision, the two sides themselves did not take sufficient steps.

"Part of our appraisal is based on the reality on the ground," Rhodes added. In light of the current state of affairs, Obama is not likely to apply pressure on Netanyahu to renew peace talks.
Well, this appears to be some good news. We will have a temporary respite from the U. S. butting its nose into our business. Of course, as long as Israel continues to expect and accept money from the U. S., Israel should expect nothing less than mixing-in from the U. S. How can the Israeli Government not see this connection?
"In the immediate term we will seek trust-building measures in order to lower the tension, reduce the violence and incitement and leave open the option of a two-state solution," Rhodes continued.

"We want to hear from the prime minister which steps Israel is prepared to take in order to safeguard the Palestinians' aspirations," Rhodes emphasized. "Obama believes that settlement-building damages trust and makes it difficult to realize the solution of a viable Palestinian state."
There they go again, pushing for the establishment of another Arab terrorist state, within the borders of our Divinely-promised, Jewish homeland. This should come as no surprise, but unfortunately it does to most Jews, who refuse to see the dangerous nature of a relationship with the U. S.

You can take the Jew out of exile, but trying to take the exile out of the Jew is a completely different story.

Enter Dr. Ran Baratz, and his social media accounts. Ever heard of him? Most people haven't.
Also in the background of Netanyahu's upcoming visit is the affairs concerning Netanyahu's newly-appointed spokesman Dr. Ran Baratz. Immediately following the appointment, numerous harsh statements made by Baratz about senior US officials – including Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry – came to light.

Dr. Ran Baratz
"...this is what modern anti-Semitism look like..."
After Netanyahu's speech to Congress, Baratz wrote on Facebook: "Obama's attitude to Netanyahu's speech is what modern anti-Semitism looks like in Western liberal countries."

Baratz also ridiculed US Secretary of State John Kerry on October 18, 2014 when he posted on Facebook that he was present at a speech given by Kerry during which, according to Baratz, he made a connection between Israel and Islamic State.

"After his tenure as secretary of state he is assured a prosperous career as a stand-up comic in one of the clubs of Kansas City, Mosul, or the Holot detention center," wrote Baratz.

State Department Spokesperson John Kirby called Baratz's statements "troubling and offensive."

"We obviously expect government officials from any country, especially our closest allies, to speak respectfully and truthfully about senior US government officials," Kirby said.
Hmm... I like Dr. Baratz already. no mincing words from him. He just calls it like he sees it. Unfortunately, like all Israelis connected with the government, who dare to tell the truth, they either cave in to pressure to "tone it down," or just fade away and eventually disappear, never to be heard from again.
Following the revelations, Netanyahu promised Kerry that he would reconsider his appointment of Baratz.

"These statements do not reflect my stance nor government policy," Netanyahu said. "Dr. Baratz has apologized for his statements and requested to clarify them in a meeting with me. We have agreed to meet on my return to Israel."

In spite of his promise, Netanyahu then tweeted that he has not promised to reconsider the appointment but that he will deal with the issue on his return from the US.
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Well, there you have it, a summary of Prime Minister Netanyahu's visit to the U. S.

The problem with U. S. - Israel relations can be solved in one fell swoop, with Israel' cease of acceptance of anymore funding from the U. S.,...like that's going to happen, anytime soon.

Shimon Peres
The focus on money and influence from the U. S. is just a diversion of focus from the real threat to Jewish sovereignty over Eretz Yisra'el (Land of Israel). That threat is from those at home

Anyone who pays attention should know that pressure from the U. S. is just an excuse to bow to pressure to those from within who want to see Israel cut in half, and the Jewish People assimilated into a borderless, Western, "progressive" society, such as....

Esser Agaroth Year in Review

After a long hiatus, I have brought back my annual Top Ten Words and Phrases post, renaming it to the more precise "Year In Review."

Here is a look back at the significant trends of תשע"ה/5775. Let's just that I hope for a much improved תשע"ו/5776.

10. Refugees
Where from Africa or Syria, whether to allow them in to Israel or not, the Israeli Government seems to care more about "refugees," and what they can do to boost its public image and overall standing in the eyes or the "international community," than its own citizens.

Same thing, different word. 'Nuff said.

8. Women of the Wall
Yep! They're still around! The most, simultaneously hysterical and pathetic thing about the Hags of the Wall is that they have no clue that they're just being used as pawns. Unfortunately, they may be successful in convincing some naive, and perhaps disenfranchised Jews, that they represent anything even remotely related to Judaism.

7. BDS
Boycotting, Divesting, and Sanctioning Israel may just be the kick in the pants we need to wake up! Unfortunately, we Jews are too busy whining about it to notice.

6. ISIS
Israel is pretty surrounded by ISIS in the Sinai Desert, Azza (Gaza), Syria, and who knows what's going on in Jordan. We also have a suggestion here and there, that ISIS is already in Israel, having either sneaked in from abroad, or just inspired Israeli Arabs to join up via Internet.

ISIS Banner on the Temple Mount
Summer
No doubt, the Israeli government will take advantage of the ISIS threat as a means to show the Israeli public that it needs it to protect them.

Shimon Peres
5. Shimon Peres
Shimon Peres wants to give away parts of our Divinely Promise Land, join together Esau (The West) with Yishma'el (Arabs/Muslims), and encourage our assimilation into Western, "progressive" culture, the antithesis of Torah. Doesn't anyone else see this?

4. Jewish Terrorism
Fatah Emblem
(eyes rolling) Fear mongering by the Israeli government and it loyal minyons trying to scare the public into believing that Torah observant activists are equated with Taliban, Iran, and ISIS, and will take everyone's Western "progressive," assimilation "rights" away if they had the chance. Pseudostinians who kill Jewish babies are "freedom fighters" in the eyes of the world, and in the eyes of many Jews as well. PA President Mahmud Abbas's Fatah Party emblem clearly  shows its ultimate goal for the Land of Israel,...erasing it from the map. But, Jews daring to ask questions about authentic Torah observance are "terrorists."

3. Torah vs. State

This year we have more reports than I can remember regarding the conflicts between Torah Low and Israeli Law. But, instead of talking about the conflict, religious lackeys of the Israeli Government insist on arguing that any conflict between the two does not exist.

2. Iran
Iran still insists on wiping us out, and apparently, so do the U. S. President and Secretary of State.

Maybe it is time to turn for help to the only one who can actually do something to protect us from Iran, and I don't mean any human power either.

1. Meir Ettinger
Meir Ettinger
People see this name, and are scared. Why? Because he is sitting in jail without indictment, conviction or trial, and absolutely no evidence whatsoever of any wrongdoing? Because he wrote some articles? In other countries, one would expect him to be called a "political dissident." However, Meir Ettinger has the wrong religion, the wrong beliefs, and the wrong loyalties for that.

In case you interested in what Meir Ettinger has actually said, and actually believes, you can read it here for yourself, instead of relying on rumors and lies.

The United States is sending an additional 75 troops and other military assets to Egypt's Sinai Peninsula to bolster the security of international peacekeepers, who have come under attack from militants in recent days, the Pentagon said on Thursday.

Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook said the deployment included a light infantry platoon and forward surgical teams, as well as equipment and vehicles.

"Our concern right now, our top priority, is the safety and security of those US personnel there," Cook said.

The announcement came a week after bomb attacks wounded six soldiers, including four Americans, who were assigned to the Multinational Force and Observer (MFO) peacekeeping mission. Cook said planning began before that incident.

The MFO was created as a result of the 1979 peace treaty between Egypt and Israel and is based in Sinai, the peninsula that lies between Israel, the Gaza Strip and the Suez Canal.

There are more than 700 US troops are currently based in Sinai, the majority of whom are in the southern part of the peninsula, said Pentagon spokesman Major Roger Cabiness.

Israel has called on Egypt to crack down on growing lawlessness in the Sinai, which has become a hideout for jihadi groups opposed to Israel.

Islamist militants were suspected of killing 16 border guards last month in North Sinai, prompting Egypt to send armored vehicles and hundreds of troops in the biggest build-up in the demilitarized zone since Egypt's 1973 war with Israel.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Who else completely forgot, or never knew in the first place that there were U. S. troops stationed in the Sinai Peninsula,  as part of international "peace keeping forces" do-nothing-for-now, globalization preparation forces?

Are there any in Jordan, where the threat is almost, if not already across its border? If not, why not?

Are we seeing a build up of excuses for the U. S. to bring troops into Israel to help protect us invade us?

We have already seen countless suggestions of the U. S. government moving in this direction, not the least of which being Secretary of State John Kerry's desire to station U. S. troops in Israel's Jordan Valley, supposedly to allay Israel's fears of insurgents crossing the Jordan River, resulting from negligence or collaboration from a future Psuedostinian Arab Terrorist state.

U. S. troops are also in Jordan.

I also still contend that they will very likely be part of future expulsions from Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria), so that the Israeli Government will not have to be concerned with soldier trauma, resistance to fighting with fellow Jews, and refusal to carry out anti-Torah orders.

Let us also not forget that the U. S. already has troops in Israel itself. U. S. troops have been here off and on since 1991 as part of missile defense in one form or another.

What? You thought they all left after 2003, and then again after each of the various conflicts, necessitating their operation of "Iron Dome" to protect us? Guess again.

The U. S. Government's interest in asserting control, not just in the Middle East as a whole, but in Israel itself, is coming at us in all directions: The "Piece Process," and Jordan Valley troops, the Sinai, probably threats from Russia trying to noise its way into Syria and else, and of course, the Iran Deal, the contents of which the Iranian leadership knows more about the deal than the Israelis stuck in the middle, let alone the American voters.

Shimon Peres
The Vatican and Shimon Peres want Jerusalem as an international city, for all religions, much like the United Nations Nothings proposal of 1947.

Arabs just want all of it.

PA President Mahmud Abbas
and his Pseudostinian Vision
If you cannot see that the stage has been set for the next chapter in the war between Esau (The West) and Yishma'el (Arabs/Muslims), then all I can say is that you are blind.

The U. S. appears to get something out of this, too, beside "regional influence" or the "securing of petroleum resources."

Israel is not just stuck in the middle; Israel is the target, Israel is the ultimate goal.
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of staggering unto all the peoples round about, and upon Judah also it will fall to be in the siege against Jerusalem. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a stone of burden for all the peoples; all that burden themselves with it shall be sore wounded; and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it. (Zech. 12:2-3)
Fortunately, the God-less powers that be, as well as the West and the Arabs, and Persians will have a very rude awakening to face.
In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that stumble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as a godlike being, as the angel of the Lord before them. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. (Zech. 12:8-9)
