השר לביטחון לאומי, איתמר בן גביר, נשא נאום תקיף בכניסה לדיון בעתירות הדורשות את הדחתו. בן גביר אישר את טענות היועמ"שית לגבי מעורבותו העמוקה במשטרה ובשב"ס: "נבחרתי כדי למשול, אני לא עציץ של הפרקליטות".

...בנאום שנשא בכניסה לאולם הדיונים, בחר בן גביר שלא להתגונן מפני טענות היועצת המשפטית לממשלה, אלא לאמץ אותן בגאווה כהוכחה למילוי הבטחותיו לבוחר.
בן גביר פתח את דבריו בסדרת אישורים לטענותיה של גלי בהרב-מיארה נגדו: "היא אומרת שאני קובע מדיניות ומשנה את המשטרה? היא צודקת. היא אומרת שמיניתי יותר מ-1,100 קצינים כדי ליישם את המדיניות שלי? היא צודקת. היא אומרת שאני נותן גיבוי ללוחמים ושתומך ב'כוח 100' מול עלילת הדם נגדם? היא צודקת. עם ישראל בחר בי ובעוצמה יהודית כדי להוביל את כל הדברים האלה וברוך השם שהצלחנו". הוא לא חסך במילים קשות כלפי היועצת המשפטית לממשלה, אותה כינה בנאומו "היועצת המפוטרת".
לדבריו, הסיבה היחידה לדיון בבג"ץ היא העובדה שהעז לשלוט במשרדו: "אני לא דוגמן של הפרקליטות. אני לא עציץ. אני שר שנבחר כדי למשול. היועמ"שית רוצה שר של טקסים, עם ישראל רוצה שר של מעשים. הסיבה היחידה שאנחנו נמצאים כאן היום היא כי עמדתי במילה שלי לבוחרים, הבטחתי מדיניות, הבטחתי משילות, הבטחתי שאני אשלוט במשרד שלי, זה בדיוק מה שעשיתי - וזה מה שהיועצת המפוטרת לא סובלת".
לקראת סיום דבריו, שלח השר מסר ברור לשופטים ולמערכת המשפטית: "הגיע הזמן שמי שמצביע ימין יקבל ימין. הניסיון להתערב במינוי שר ובסמכויות שלו מסוכן. זה מדרון חלקלק למשבר חוקתי. בדמוקרטיה השר קובע מדיניות והשר גם ממנה את מי שמבצע אותה. לא יועצת משפטית, לא פרקליטות ולא שליחים שלהם. אל תגררו את מדינת ישראל לשם. הדמוקרטיה לא תיפול. אבל הדיקטטורה המשפטית - כן"....
שר הביטחון הלאומי פשוט עושה את מה שהבוחרים בחרו בו לעשות. הבוחרים הצביעו רה״מ נתניהו להמשיך בדרכו כולל מינוי שרים.
בג"ץ מנסה למנוע זאת. בג"ץ מנסה למנוע את יישום רצון העם - רצון הבוחרים - שבחרו בממשלה הזו, שמפלגותיה הבטיחו במפורש לקדם רפורמה של מערכת המשפט.
...בפן המשפטי, השופט עופר גרוסקופף הביע דאגה עמוקה מהתנהלות השר והשפעתה על רשויות האכיפה. בפנייה למייצג הממשלה, עו"ד מיכאל ראבילו, אמר גרוסקופף: "הטענה היא פוליטיזציה של המשטרה וזאת סכנה מיוחדת לדמוקרטיה. זה בעייתי מכל זווית אפשרית".אבל זה בדיוק מה שעושה בית המשפט העליון באמצעות הדיון להדחת בן-גביר האפשרית. עוד דוגמה למוסרים הכפולים של השמאל כדי לבטל את שלטון הממשלה שנבחרה על ידי העם כדי לקדם אתאבל זה בדיוק מה שעושה בג״ץ. עוד דוגמה לסטנדרטים הכפולים של השמאל כדי לבטל את שלטון הממשלה שנבחרה על ידי העם למען קידום מטרותיה כגון להטמיע את עם הישראל בתוך התרבות המערבית ולבטל את השפעת התורה בארץ ישראל.

שיקמה ברסלר היא פרופסור לפיזיקה, ואחד מנהיגי תנועת המחאה נגד הרפורמה המשפטית. ברסלר צריכה להבין שבתי המשפט כבר הפך לעצמה לא כשר באמצעות סירוב להשאר בתחום רשות השלטון שלה בממשלה, רשות המשפט. אלא נכנס לעניינים של הרשות המבצעת והרשות המחוקקת.

...Addressing the press before the hearing, Ben-Gvir chose not to refute Attorney General Gali Bahrav-Miara's claims, but adopted them proudly as proof that he had followed through on his promises.
"She says that I determine policy and change the police? She's right. She says that I appointed more than 1,100 officers to implement my policies? She's right. She says that I back up officers and support Force 100 in the face of a blood libel against them? She's right. The people of Israel elected Otzma Yehudit and me to lead all these things and, thank G-d, we succeeded."
Ben-Gvir did not hold back when talking about the Attorney General, whom he referred to as the "fired attorney." According to the minister, the only reason for the Supreme Court hearing is the fact that he dared to control his ministry: "I am not the prosecution's doll. I am not a plant. I am a minister who was elected to rule. The Attorney General wants a ceremonial minister; the people of Israel want a minister of action. The only reason we are here today is that I stood by my word to voters, I promised policy, I promised governance, I promised that I would control my ministry, that is exactly what I did, and that is what the fired attorney can't stand."
Toward the end of his remarks, Ben-Gvir sent a message to the judges and judicial system: "The time has come that those who vote for the right will get the right. The attempt to interfere in the appointment of a minister or their authority is dangerous. It is a slippery slope to a constitutional crisis. In a democracy, the minister determines policy, and the minister also appoints those who execute it. Not the Attorney General, not the prosecution, and not their emissaries. Don't drag the state of Israel there. The democracy will not fall. But the judicial dictatorship will...."
The Minister of Internal Security is simply executing what the electorate elected him to do, having given Prime Minister Netanyahu the authority to appoint his choice of minister to do so.
The High Court is interfering with this. The High Court is interfering with the will of the people -- the voters -- who chose this government, whose parties specifically promised to pursue reformation of the current judicial system.
In his opening remarks, Justice Ofer Grosskopf said the petitioners allege attempts to politicize the police, warning that this poses a particular danger to democracy.But, politicization is exactly what Israel's High Court is doing. This is just another example of the double standards begin employed by the Left, in order to further their agenda, including full assimilation of the Jewish People into Western culture, thus bringing Israel into the Western-based, globalist society, and elimination of any influence of the Torah within the Land of Israel.
"The politicization of the police is unacceptable," he said. "Assuming a national security minister is acting to politicize the force, it's possible the prime minister has no interest in removing him from office, perhaps because it aligns with his own interests." (Ha'aretz)

Furthermore, she should remember that Israel's judicial system was already dismantled, and reconstructed in 1996, by former Chief Justice Aharon Barak.
Prime Minister Netanyahu, Justice Minister Yariv Levin, and Itamar Ben-Gvir, are the ones who have been trying to fix it, standing in the way of the Courts full control over the State, in other words, a dictatorship.
