Question and Answer Session Following

Some of you will remember Riskin's recent shenanigans, otherwise known as "The Rabbi Jesus Incident," not to be confused with Frank Herbert's science fiction novel The Jesus Incident. You can refresh your memories by clicking here.

But, I digress....

I encourage all of you to come. Fill the house, and ASK your questions. Be prepared with your halachic sources, too. Let's see how he responds.

Just for kicks, does anyone have the guts to ask him if he or any of his institutions receives any money from Christian organiztions. And, if so, how much?

The chutzpah of Rabbi "Jesus" Riskin? As if the halachah matters to him.

Thanks for letting me know about the event, I hadn't heard of it anywhere else. Around a hundred people came, and most applauded when the talk was over. If any of the people you expected your post to draw there showed up, they didn't call attention to themselves.

They had announced at the start that questions would be taken in writing, but they didn't do that. People did walk up to ask questions individually but I didn't feel like eavesdropping. Really, I was disappointed, I'd have liked to have heard an opponent debate him, even if during the Q&A period. I don't know what sort of "guts" that would have required.

He mentioned how much money he's received. I didn't write down the numbers he said the amount he's received over the last ten years is negligible compared to one year's spending at all his institutions.

Thanks for the information. Very interesting, yet not surprising.
