Why Can't This IDF War Veteran Leave the Hospital?

ערב שבת קודש פר׳ בחקתי תשע״ו

Translation:

Wounded Soldier Isn't Returning Home Because he is a Settler

Yehuda HaYisra'eli who was critically wounded in Operation Protective Edge (צוק איתן ,2014) is unable to leave the hospital because the Ministry of Defense does not give approval to building a ramp in his home. The reason - he lives beyond the Green Line, in a town without an [approved] urban building plan.

(Arutz 7) Recall that Yehuda was wounded in the head, and was taken to Soroka Hospital believed to be mortally wounded - there they succeeded in stabilizing his condition. He then underwent surgery to remove shrapnel from his head, until being transferred to Tel HaShomer Hospital, where he remained unconscious a long period of time.

This photo was taken from Yehuda's se'udath hodayah, in Har Brachah. A se'udath hodayah is a traditional feast of thanksgiving made after surviving a life threatening event.

I am not at certain of the detail's of Yehuda's current condition, including the functioning of his right eye. The Arutz 7 report above included that "Yehuda Yitzhaq began issuing words from his mouth a few months ago."

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Where are the disabled rights activists?

Where are the veterans rights activists?

This is not the first time the State has turned its back on its war veterans.

Why isn't anyone noticing?

Why Israel's Right-Wing Wants Avigdor Lieberman in the Coalition

ט"ז לחודש השני תשע"ו

...Because they're not really right wing.

From Arutz 7:
Avigdor Lieberman
Yisra'el Beitenu
(Israel Our Home Party)
"Among the party policies Liberman said he would not be pushing in talks are demands to enforce haredi enlistment to the IDF, as well as instituting civil marriage and conversion reforms - the latter two of which are particularly important for Yisrael Beytenu's Russian immigrant voters."
Translation? He would not be pushing to enforce haredi enlistment to the IDF, as well as instituting civil marriage and conversion reforms,...until he does.

If you think that Lieberman is willing to drop those issues which are particularly important for Yisrael Beytenu's Russian immigrant voters, then you are insane.

Remember the non-Jews the Leftists actively recruited for "aliyah" from the Former Soviet Union, to increase their voter base? The strategy backfired. Many of them ended up backing Lieberman. And now Lieberman is obligated to them.

Lieberman has previously sought to disband religious councils, and to shift responsibility for all religious services from exclusively Orthodox bodies to elected local government.

Furthermore, Lieberman is well-known for his support for yet another made-up, Arab country, on our Divinely promised Land. He calls them "land exchanges," even though it is not his to "exchange."

Prime Minister Netanyahu and Tzippy Livni have expressed agreement with the plan in principle. Naftali Bennett's own infamous plan to grant autonomy to Arabs within Eretz Yisra'el (Land of Israel), is hardly any better. So, Lieberman's presence in Israel's governmental coalition will only add fuel to the fire of Land giveaways, and expulsions of Jews.

Lucky for Lieberman, he lives in Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem, [which he believes to be] safe from such a fate.

Some believe that Lieberman's presence  in the government, as a cabinet minister, and even more so, as Defense Minister, will boost Israel's fight against terrorism.

Seriously?

I guarantee you that the bitter cycle of enabling terrorism, we are currently stuck in, will not just go away with the addition of Lieberman to the quasi-"right-wing" team.

There is no significant difference between Avigdor Lieberman and opposition leader Yitchak "Bugie" Herzog.

They both forsake the Land, in one way or another.

They both actively battle against Torah principles, whether they realize it or not, fighting for the de-Judaizing of the already de-Judaizing of the "Jewish" State.

They both support the increased influx of non-Jews into the "Jewish" State, Lieberman through sham conversions of many who have no intention whatsoever of keeping Torah and mitzvot, and Herzog through his party's support for foreign workers, and granting "special" status to many of them and their children, thus contributing to the de-Jewifying of the "Jewish" State.

The only difference between Lieberman and Herzog is the name of their political parties, both of which are jokes.

Israel Our Home and Zionist Union indeed!

Did John Kasich Really Say That?

ד' לחודש השני תשע"ו
John Kasich to Orthodox Jews: Abraham, not Moses, the star of the Torah
April 13, 2016
WASHINGTON (JTA) — John Kasich bantered with haredi Orthodox Jews about which biblical figure was most significant and other lessons from the Jewish Bible.
On Tuesday, the Ohio governor and one of three Republicans left vying for the party’s presidential nomination toured a Jewish book store in Borough Park, a Brooklyn neighborhood, Jewish Insider reported. New York state’s primary is on April 19.
Ohio Governor John Kasich
“The story of the people are Abraham and God made a covenant with Abraham — not Moses!” Kasich told Ezra Friedlander, a haredi lobbyist who was escorting Kasich through the heavily Haredi neighborhood.

Friedlander had tried to explain that for Jews, Moses is considered the most important biblical figure, and more important than the patriarchs, because he brought the law to the Jews.

“Moses is up there,” Friedlander said, as Kasich, an Anglican who was born Roman Catholic, examined shelves of Jewish texts.

Kasich’s conversations seemed predicated on the assumption that his fervently religious interlocutors didn’t know much about Judaism.

“Have you studied Joseph?” he told a group of yeshiva students. “Did you hear the most important thing Joseph said to his brothers? ‘My brothers you meant it for evil, but God meant it for good.’ Did you know that?”

Kasich went on to explain: “He may have been a little bit of a braggart, you know, Joseph, may have been a little, maybe, but they threw him in that ditch and then his brother saved him, and then they sold him into slavery, and that’s how the Jews got to Egypt. Right? Did you know that?”
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Why is everyone so shocked?

Of course, he touts Avraham Avinu (Abraham) as the "star" of the Torah.

He is a Christian, and like all Christians, he believes that they are Avraham Avinu's true inheritors. Muslims believe the same for themselves.

But the truth is that the Jews are Avraham Avinu's inheritors, through his grandson Ya'aqov Avinu (Jacob), and certainly not through his son Yishma'el, as Muslims would have you believe, and and not through the Ya'aqov's tricky brother Esau, who is well-known for his self-righteousness, as well as his pursuit of immediate gratification, food, sex, you name it.

Christians believe that they are here to pick up where Ya'aqov's children left off. But, the reality is that Christians are actually the spiritual descendants of Esau.

Idiot Kasich not only had the hutzpah to lecture yeshiva students on Torah, even though like all Christians he lacks the entire Torah, and so could never possibly know what he is talking about, but also had the hutzpah to lecture them on the Christian false deity!

If Christians really want to "be our friends," and sneak into our hearts, our souls, and yes, into our Land (their current goal), then they had better find another commander in their army to replace Kasich.

In the meantime, let's hope that Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for President, crosses Kasich off the list of possible running mates,...and fast!

Why do we Need a Holocaust Remembrance Day? (UPDATED)

כ״ז לחודש הראשון תשע״ו

That's actually a very good question.

Holocaust Memorial Day was established in 1951 by the Israeli Government,...a "Workers Party of the Land of Israel" government. In other words, Labor Zionists, whose goal has always been to de-Judaize both the People and Land of Israel, made up this day. The day is half way between Passover, the Jewish holiday of freedom and Israel's Memorial Day.

The date, the 28th of the Hebrew month of Nissan, which like Independence Day, the government has deigned to move around as needed to reduce Shabboth violations, is also supposed to [sort of, but not really] coincide with the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, which actually began Erev Pesah, תש״ג/1943.

28 Nissan also happens to mark the liberation of the Buchenwald Concentration Camp by the American army in תש״ה/1945. However, this sounds more like a time for celebration than mourning. Many Jews died during Israel's War of Independence and Six Day War, yet we celebrate on these days. Besides, no matter how particularly nasty the Buchenwald Concentration Camp was, there were many others.

Oh, wait a minute. I forgot. This camp's liberation appears to be an after thought. (See above in the first paragraph.)

The idea to add Holocaust Memorial to the public fast day of the 10th of the Hebrew month of Teveth, an already established day of Jewish mourning, is often shunned by Religious Zionists. The State has made a decision, and so they must abide by it. Even though the 10 b'Teveth was designated as a memorial day for all those whose day of death is unknown, by none other than the State of Israel's Chief Rabbinate.

The creation of this made up memorial day is nothing more than manipulation by the State to keep various factions fighting with each other, a simple divide and conquer strategy which has worked so well for so long, not to mention gradually detracting us from Torah, in favor of... well,...something else.

Even the so-called "Conservative Movement" has argued for the 9th of the Hebrew month of Av, to be designated as Holocaust Memorial Day, as it is the date upon which many Jewish calamities in Jewish history have occurred, not the least of which being the judgment that B'nei Yisra'el would not immediately enter the Land of Israel after being taken out of Egypt, the destruction of both the First and Second Batei haMiqdash (Temples), the defeat at Beitar, and the plowing over Har HaBayith (Temple Mount) by the Romans (Mishnah Ta'anith 4:6).

Modern events related to the Holocaust having occurred on the 9 b'Av include:
  • Germany entered World War I on August 1–2, 1914 (Av 9-10, AM 5674), which caused massive upheaval in European Jewry and whose aftermath led to the Holocaust.
  • On August 2, 1941 (Av 9, AM 5701), SS commander Heinrich Himmler formally received approval from the Nazi Party for "The Final Solution."
  •  As a result, the Holocaust began during which almost one third of the world's Jewish population perished. On July 23, 1942 (Av 9, AM 5702), began the mass deportation of Jews from the Warsaw Ghetto, en route to Treblinka.
Overall, this suggestion makes much more sense than a day in Nissan, a month in which Jews traditionally refrain from historical mourning practices. But, like I alluded to above, such an issue would not have concerned the Labor Zionists in the least.

So, the answer to the question as to why we need a Holocaust Memorial Day is that we do not need one. We already have one, two even. But, if I had written this at the beginning of the post, most of you would have stopped reading almost as soon as you had begun.

Instead of continuing to play the victim, to gain sympathy from the goyim (non-Jews), probably one of the only strategies the Israeli Government has left to delay the State of Israel's eventual destruction, what we really need is a Holocaust Prevention Day, which I wrote about back in 2009. This would involve the educating our children as to how to refrain from repeating our greatest historical mistakes, such as assimilation, intermarriage, and dependence on outside human forces for protection.

But, since the only way to do this would be to teach our children the Torah way of life, don't count on the Israeli Government to get on board anytime soon.
