Healing Jews with Tattoos? Or Hurting Them?

English follows the Hebrew.

YNET: Turning the scars of terror into tattoos
The Healing Ink project, which helps victims of violence deal with their trauma, comes to Haifa, where it gives new perspective to among trauma sufferers, including a woman who lost her parents and brother to a Palestinian terrorist, and a former soldier who was critically wounded in a shooting in Jerusalem

Ahiya Raved, 12.07.19

Ten of the world's leading tattoo artists recently arrived in Israel to offer their specialist skills to "Healing Ink," a project that helps people cope with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) due to violence.

Among the Israelis suffering from PTSD who turned up at the Israel National Museum of Science, Technology and Space in Haifa for a tattoo was Leah Gavish Georgy, who on Passover 2002, lost her mother Rachel, father David, brother Abraham and grandfather Yitzhak when a Palestinian terrorist broke into their home at the Elon Moreh settlement. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
I doubt you'll believe me when I say that I have nothing against these victims getting tattoos. I, too, am victim of Arab terror. I, too, lived in the Shomron (Samaria), and not so far away from Elon Moreh either. I blame the Israeli government. Instead of the government providing proper treatment ---  and do I have really have to say proper protection in the first place? -- it does a half-hearted job, trying to satisfy Israelis while doubly trying to make sure the international community doesn't get too upset.

But, who knows? Maybe the government -- right-wing, left-wing, it doesn't matter -- prefers to scare settlers out of their homes. After all it would save it the time, money, and trouble, when they try to do it again forcefully. That's right. I said when, and not if.

Of course, I also blame the driving force behind the war against Torah via assimilation, and that's not just who we see in the public eye in the government.

Several of the artists listed on Healing Ink's site have Jewish, if not Israeli sounding names. Having tinoq shenisha (Jews who do not know any better) -- giving them the benefit of the doubt as to their status --  it is like the blind leading the blind. They are healing these terror victims' feelings, without any regard for the correct actions Jews are obligated to take (mitzvoth - Torah commandments), and quite frankly their true, spiritual destiny.
"...nor imprint any marks upon you: I am the Lord. (Lev, 19:28)"
I also wonder if there are any Xian tattoo artists here to promote their doctrine of ignoring many Torah laws, believing they are irrelevant, now that they have their false deity/messiah to pray to.

It would not surprise me.

Forgetting the True Story of Hanukkah

English follows the Hebrew.

This post was prompted by The Light of Chanukkah by Daniel Greenfield AKA Sultan Knish.

The story of Hanukkah is recounted in the following, brief, video by Rabbi David Bar-Hayim.

I am happy to see someone actually mentioning that Jews fought Jews in the war leading up to Hanukkah. I am also glad that some mentions that the war was against assimilation. But, it was much more than that.

Jews love to misrepresent this war as into one of fighting for religious freedom. But, it wasn't at all. We fought this war for the freedom of Jews to observe the Torah in their own homeland, and not for any pluralistic free for all. The war began with not just an act of defiance, but the killing of a Jew committing an act of avdoah zarah (foreign worship), needless to say a politically-incorrect act in so many ways.

I do not see the explicit mention of Torah in this piece. I cannot say what the author's motivations are. As I said, his piece serves only as a prompt here, and no criticism toward it is intended.

Perhaps absence of the word Torah was that that the author wants to reach as broad an audience as possible. Or that that word "Torah" is too frightening for assimilated Jews to read, assimilated even they do not realize that they are assimilated. Such Jews are too used to doing what they want, instead of trying to do what The Almighty wants. Some are even convinced by their clergy members that what they want is what The Almighty wants.

These Jews are not actually misrepresenting Hanukkah and the preceding war. They were simply never taught the holiday's correct origins in the first place. In other words, they were lied to.

Please read about this further in The Politically-Incorrect But True Story Of Hanukkah.

Terror Attack Against Jews: When Will We Wake Up?

English follows the Hebrew.

Three Jews were killed in Jersey City, NJ at the hands of a terrorist with reported connections to a Black [Non] Hebrew [Non] Israelite community.

Many liberal Jews will be quick to point out (haven't they already?) that there are several such communities, including the Black [Fake] Hebrews in Israel, and so we should not condemn all of them, for that would be racist.

Many conservative (lower case "c") will be quick to point out the need to vote Republican and to do what needs to be done to keep President Trump in power.

Those Jews somewhere in the middle will talk about the need not to panic, and to stand together with all other Americans against violence and in support of peace, and point to the wonderful offer by the non-Jewish, African American man from New Jersey.

But, does anyone ever point out the option of leaving the U. S., and relocating to Israel? It seems to be mentioned only rarely in Europe. Rather, the number of Jews in Israel applying for Spanish and Portuguese citizenship is growing. Fortunately, many French, as well as some Belgian and British Jews have been leaving up for Israel. (I do not have exact statistics off the top of my head.)

Many American Jews, even "Religious Zionist" Jews, will be quick to point out how dangerous it is in Israel. Well, it wouldn't be if they were here to invest their time and energy in the only true, Jewish Homeland, instead of in the temporary dwelling place of non-Jewish nations. That is, above and beyond the money they send throw at the State, and other institutions which hand it off to a lot more non-Jewish causes than they are led to believe.

Together, with a mass aliyah (Jewish immigration to Israel) of these "Religious Zionists," we would have the power to transform this Homeland of ours. I do not write "We would have the votes..." because for a time these Religious Zionists, Modern Orthodox, and secular right-wing would continue to vote for the status quo, keeping us in our current, stuck conditions, until they finally accept the reality of our situation here in Israel, and that includes seeing the manipulation of Israeli deMOCKracy, and legislation from the Bench by the secular, elitist, Left. Unfortunately, such an awakening might not occur until these new immigrants endure a few bumps in the path to redemption. A missile here, a bomb, gun, knife, or tractor attack there. May God forbid.

We should also pray that we would never have to endure such experiences. But, so many of you have accused me of being too idealistic and impractical. And so, I am changing my tune here, and laying down the reality.

But, until American, and other, Jews get kicked in the tuchus enough, we may continue to gain sympathy from non-Jews, temporary sympathy, and continue to get killed. May God forbid such a thing!

At least if you come now, we could limit the slow suicide of our people. I will not say spiritual suicide, because you are simply not ready to absorb that.

Is it really worth it?

Antisemitism is Woven into Western Culture

English follows the Hebrew.
The Jewish Press

Jewish Press Op-Ed: Antisemitism is Woven into Western Culture
It is not difficult to prove that antisemitism is an integral part of Western culture. This is radically different from saying that all Europeans are antisemites, yet Western leaders almost never admit this reality about their cultures. (cont.)
Dr. Manfred Gerstenfeld , 30/10/19
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Dr. Gertsenfeld provides examples of Antisemitism in this piece. And perhaps it is important to remind ourselves of these incidents and their number.

But the fact that antisemitism is woven into Western culture has been known for centuries, no matter how much and how often Jews regress into their state of denial about this.

The fact that antisemitism is woven into Western culture can be summed up in one rule taught by Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai:

Esau hates Jacob.

You can see how the term "Jewish Hatred" is much more precise than "AntiSemitism."

Esau has many faces and so his descendants are represented on this earth in many different ways, by the co-called right-wing Christians, the free-love European progressives, and so many others groups in between these two.

Christians claim The Almighty's grace over the Jewish People. This parallels Esau claiming his birthright back from Jacob. They follow their feelings, having rejected much of the Torah, and deciding for themselves what the rest of it means. Remember the midrash of Esau asking his father Isaac the rule for separating tithes from salt? Esau feigns righteousness, but is actually ignorant, and just does what he wants. He was not circumcized on his eighth day of life, due to heath concerns. Then he never bothered to be circumcized later in life. In other words, he never entered the covenant; he never fully committed to living the life The Almighty intended for him.

The progressives, on the other hand are also concerned with doing whatever they want, whenever they want, and will not hear any opinion counter to their own. They are just more overt about it than the Christians. The Millennial self-centeredness we hear about all the time now, is actually nothing new. We find it in the arrogance and boundary-destroying West, from the conqueror nations drawing boundaries for the now liberated indigenous peoples to the Globalists demanding to hammer the nails into the coffin of Nationalism.

On a more personal level, we have several reports of the sexual shenanigans of Esau and his descendants, both within the Written Torah, Bereishith Rabba, and elsewhere. Rome came out of Esau, followed by all of its various incarnations in the West. Rome's Bacchanalia and orgies were the precursors of the progressives' "free love" and "I'll follow my feelings, and do what I want" attitude.

Esau wants his birthright back, either with us, as Esau invited Jacob to join him (Gen. 33:12), or without us, before he gave it up for a bowl of stew, for his immediate gratification (Gen. 25:29-34).

The Christians have decided that the Land of Israel is theirs, with or without us, sneaking into Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria), through volunteer service in the Israeli Defense Forces [IDF], through their lone, supposedly Jewish grandparent, through intermarriage with Jews. You name it. They have even concocted some nonsense, publicly denying their descendency from Esau, claiming they are from the lost Ten Tribes, and thus entitled to the territory which was once the Northern Kingdom of Israel.

This comes as no surprise, as the Christians have always just changed strategies whenever the current one wasn't working. First Esau tries to kill Jacob (Gen. 27:41), as in The Crusades, Inquisitions, and various pogroms. Yet, eventually, Esau kisses him (Gen. 33:4). Enter Evangelical "love" and ever flowing funding.

And what about the Jews? The so-called right-wing Jews apparently rationalize away the Talmud's statement that Jacob and Esau (TB Megillah 6a, Jerusalem and Qaesari) can never be in control at the same time.

The left wing Jews,...well,...can you spell A-S-S-I-M-I-L-A-T-I-O-N? These include both roped in Jews, as well as those who think they are Jewish, but really aren't. Although they continue their war against Torah, which they called their fight for freedom and democracy, by bringing as many non-Jews into Israel as possible, they will eventually fail. They will either wake up to see the truth, run away using their foreign passports, or just disappear.

Israeli Elections Wrap-up

English follows the Hebrew.

Binyamin Netanyahu

(JPost.com)

(Times of Israel)

Avigdor Lieberman
"Wrap-up? But, this chapter in Israeli election history isn't over yet!" You declare.

So, what.

These elections were just one big distraction two continue keeping us under control, numbed out, and in our perpetual state of learned helplessness, among other things.

And to keep Netanyahu's indictment under raps? Obviously. If nothing else, Netanyahu's legal troubles and/or greed have become a nuisance for his Western handlers.

From Tomer Devorah:
Two days after Israeli Election, Trump yet to call Netanyahu (JPost.com)

Trump says he hasn’t spoken to Netanyahu: "Our relationship is with Israel" (Times of Israel)

These headlines in the mainstream news media pretty much support this notion. But there are more pressing, much deeper issues at play here.

Haredi-hating Avigdor Lieberman has been brought up often enough in the same mainstream news media as Israel's potential "king-maker."

Maybe. But it might backfire on himself since the US and Europe wield the real power in Israel. Netanyahu's legal issues have become an inconvenience, not an outright thorn in the side of the U. S., so Netanyahu might be threatened to shape up or ship out, if he already hasn't been dumped.

Trump was asked about not calling Netanyahu after three days after the elections, asking if he still stood with Netanyahu. Trump's response? Something like he stood with Israel, in other words, not necessarily Netanyahu.

Now it seems Netanyahu has given back his mandate to Israeli President Rivlin, saying that he did not succeed in forming a government.

My guess? Netanyahu and Gantz will eventually come to terms, and form a unity government. In order to do that, Netanyahu will have to compromise away most all of his promises to voters. Then he will be able to throw up his arms, and say that he tried his best to fulfill those promises, but had no choice, unless we (translation: he) wanted to lose all control and be forced into yet another round of elections.

But, will he remain as prime minister in any leadership rotation?

Do you really think it matters?

The War against Shabbat is a War against the Torah

Israeli "Closed to All Vehicles" Sign

YNET: Shabbat shalom? Being a tourist in Israel has its challenges
Tourists are often unprepared for public transport to halt and shops, cafes and restaurants to close as Saturdays or Jewish holidays come around, and the sudden wailing of sirens used to mark memorial days can be a little shocking

Gilad Carmeli, 10.04.19

Tourists on the streets of Tel Aviv stood still, likely briefed that when they heard the siren they must stand.

Having visited the country before, German tourist Robin Seibers knew missile sirens sounded different and was able to calm other tourists' concerns.
"If the Israelis don't run, you are OK," she says. "That should be the rule."

"Most took out their phone to film people getting out of their cars in the middle of the road and standing still," she says.
This is a perfect example of how strange this country and its traditions must seem to visitors.

Israel has many holidays and memorials and at for at least two days a week, public services shut down completely. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Oh, puh-leeze!

This is just another excuse to chip away at Shabbat, and thus the Torah in its entirety. Worse yet, those who hallow Yom HaZikaron (Israeli Defense Forces Memorial Day) more than Tisha b'Av, commemorating the the destruction of the Holy Temples, among other calamities, and the Asarah b'Teveth, commemorating the initial breech of the walls of the Jerusalemmany of whom do not even know nor care about, are willing to compromise on Yom HaZikaron for the sake of tourists, who already step all over us, not caring at all about our culture and customs.

If this were a Muslim country requiring women to dress a certain way, we would not even be having this discussion. No one would question a Muslim country's right to determine its own rules for its visitors. Female officials and journalists demonstrate this all the time on the news. Rare is the occasion when a visiting female dignitary shows this same respect at the Kotel (Western Wall).

But with the self hating Jewish contingent of the Erev Rav who wants all of us to fit in (ie. assimilate) into Western (ie. non-Jewish), globalist society, you can see it is even worse than simply suggesting that we accommodate non-Israeli, (translation: non-religious and non-traditional Jewish) tourists.

Are these the same concerned citizens who complain about the increasing presence of kosher (ie. closed on Shabbat), even Kasher leMehadrin restaurants in Tel-Aviv. Even though these businesses are simply responding to supply and demand in order to improve their profits?

Very likely.

Are Synagogue Prayers on Rosh HaShannah and Yom Kippur too Long?

English follows the Hebrew.

This past Rosh Hashanah morning, I found that my clock battery was dying, providing me with an inaccurate time. So I ended up arriving late to hear shofar (ram's or other kosher, properly prepared horn) blown after the Torah reading. So, in order to fulfill the mitzvah mid'Oraita (explicitly written commandment) of hearing the shofar blown on the first day of the Seventh Month (Tishrei), I really had no choice but to endure the excruciatingly long repetition of the Mussaf amidah, the additional prayer, of Rosh HaShannah.

When I used to pray on Rosh HaShannah in Jerusalem by my rabbi and teacher, this was never the case. Rather it was a reasonable, and yes, halakhic in length and components, and for that matter, easy to concentrate on, and meaningful.

Many of us do not know the blasts during the rehearsal of the Supplement Prayer are the shofar blasts to hear in the first place. The hundred shofar blosts that are used to stick after reading the Torah are simple for the elderly and the sick who cannot suffer to stay in the hospital during supper prayer, and for women who need to take care of the children.

You can criticize me for intending to come and hear shofar, and then immediately leave. But that's an issue for discussion for another time.

And how is it so clear to me that most of us do not realize that shofar blasts during the repetition of the mussaf amidah are the  ideal time to hear them, as opposed to those blown right after the Torah reading? Because of all the chatter among the men and noisy kids running around. Most of this congregation where I prayed were suffering and indeed, did not pay so much attention to the repetition of mussaf.

It is a pity to think that all the possible added poetry and paragraphs must be said in order to fulfill ones obligation, and thus not only suffer physically and emotionally but also spiritually.

With regard to the word torture used here in the video in English below, there is no intention of minimalizing of the torture of our youth, even minors have undergone by the powers that be.

The rabbi simply emphasizes the seriousness of the problems of such practices that prevent us participating fully and connecting in our own prayers.

The Population War is not between the Jews and the Arabs

English follows the Hebrew.

One afternoon before Shabbat, and before the recent Israeli election re-do, upon returning from the beach, I went to a convenience store to buy some snacks for Shabbat. Some lady put her items for purchase at the cashier in front of me, while I was paying for my things. After I paid, I asked this woman, "Excuse me, but can I get my things? '

'Please do," she said. But she didn't move. The religious cashier immediately picked up on what was happening, and told me he would bring them to me.

I said to this lady, "You know. There's a lot like me ..."

She started to reply, before I has a chance to finish my sentence, "A lot? Yes, there are a lot of donkeys in Haifa, in Tel Aviv, in ... "

"Religious Jews," I said, now interrupting her mid-sentence. "Even in (our town's name)."

Then when I took what I bought and started walking away, she called out to me, "There are a lot of secular people in (our town's name)..."

I turned right around, and shot back, "With God's help, there eventually won't be any."

And why would I something like that to her? Because secular Israelis do not give birth to children like the Haredim (untra-Orthodox), Settlers, nor other Religious Zionist, even modern Orthodox families.

And so they are not producing nearly as many future voters which would allow them to hold onto power.

And so what do they do what they must do to fight against the threat of a Torah-observant majority.

They bring non-Jews with supposedly one grandfather to Israel. They fight against any change to the Jewish Law of Return, entitling anyone with at least one Jewish grandparent to settle in Israel.

They bring Christian Ethiopians to Israel, pretending that they are Jewish, and in spite of the objections of the truly Jewish Ethiopians.

They fight for the permanent residency status, if not full citizenship, for foreign workers.

They protest against the expulsion of the of the African infiltrators, despite their extensive criminal activity, even though there has been regime change in the Sudan at least. They will want them to receive citizenship too, eventually.

And they are not even so opposed to Christian evangelicals living here in the country because secular people know full well that once these religious rights of one group of people are banned, the rights of the Reform, the Conservatives, and finally the secularists will be the next targets of a future Torah-based government to ban.

Secular Israelis have invented a new identity, an Israeli identity, so we have both Jews and Israelis. In fact, former President Shimon Peres had already said such a thing to a journalist that he lost in the national elections of 1996 to Benjamin Netanyahu and the Likud.

Secularists are afraid. They are afraid of the true source of Zionism, of our true identity. They are afraid of the Torah.

Their leaders want us to be assimilated among the nations of the world.

And so their fight is against the Torah.

The Democratic Camp Party isn't Really Democratic

English follows the Hebrew.

To look into the eyes of the right-wing, this is courage.
The Democratic Camp: Nitzan Horowitz, Stav Shaffir, Ehud Baraq

"Expanding Shabbat violations, the problem of the LGBT [agenda],
No holiness - then all possible wars come, the Temple is the cure." - Rabbi Yisrael Ariel

The Democratic Camp: If we don't wake up, he will educate our children.

New teachers: 7 for Physics, 477 for Jewish Studies
- from an ad in The Marker

The Democratic Camp/MeretzIf we don't wake up,
the rabbis will educate our children.
The truth is that leftists are not really interested in democracy at all. If they were interested in democracy, then they would accept the decisions of the majority ... even when the ultra-Orthodox and the settlers will eventually be the majority, the majority of voters.

But "democracy" is the slogan, and its interpretation is "to oppose anything related to the Torah."

They do not want a democratic state. They want a state with a government system according to their rules and desires, a state like all nations of the world, a state of assimilated Jews, a state of Jews marrying anyone they want, meaning goyim, including goyim who think they are Jews, such false converts, and those fooled by leftist leaders into believing they are Jews.

So, what future do the leftists want for the people of Israel?

There is no doubt that they want a future without Torah except for the unobtrusive parts and no rabbis who say things that disturb them. And needless to say, they do no want a re-built Holy Temple.

Why I Cannot Vote for the Noam Party

English follows the Hebrew.

Rabbi Tzvi Tau
(Photo: Michael Yaacovon)

Noam Party
A Normal People in Our Land
About two weeks ago, I passed by a Noam Party booth. The teenager standing there looked at me like he was deciding whether to approach me or not. I decided for him and approached him. I told him that even though there is no doubt that Rabbi Tau is Torah scholar, and that I appreciate what he is doing now {working against men and women serving together in the same  Israeli Defense Forces [IDF] units}, his followers are still too mamlakhti (diehard State loyalists), and so I still could not vote for his party. He said, "Really?"

"Really," I said, and left. But, then I stopped and went back to him. "Excuse me. But, would you refuse an IDF order that contradicts the Torah?"

"It depends," he answered.

I was actually very impressed with his response. In preparation for the expulsion of Jews from Azza (Gaza, including Gush Qatif) and northern Shomron (Samaria), Rabbi Tau did not favor refusing military orders. Of course, he told soldiers to ask for a job transfer or to faint or to act sick to avoid participating in the disengagement plan expulsion. So, it seems there is progress in the mamlakhti camp. That is, as Rabbi Tau sees and talks about the problems of the State of Israel, his students (rabbis who follow according to his teachings) and their students also see the problematic situation around them. But, in my opinion, they still have a way to go. They are still way too mamlakhti.

I cannot vote for them.

Note: I was contacted by fellow blogger Tomer Devorah who stated that Rav Tau actually said to his students, something like...

"...making a blanket ruling for all religious soldiers to disobey orders was not something he was willing to do at the time. But he said that it could not be that religious soldiers would throw any Jew out of his home. So, he said every religious soldier must tell his commander that he can not follow that order."

Riding the Train between Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv

English follows the Hebrew.

I finally took the train on the new route between Jerusalem Station - Navon near the Tel Aviv Central Bus Station. The route still only reaches Ben-Gurion Airport. Eventually, it will reach Tel Aviv and even to Herzliya, and after that, Carmiel as the work progresses on the electrical power system.

This video shows a southwestern view between the first and second tunnels where you can see the Mount Menuchem cemetery, and between the second and third tunnels where you can see the City of Mevaseret Zion.

Jeffrey Epstein Accused Sex Abuser and Trafficker Found Dead!

FoxNews.com: Disgraced financier dead from apparent suicide in jail cell; AG Barr 'appalled', orders probe
Lucia I. Suarez Sang, Aug. 10, 2019
Disgraced multimillionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of sex trafficking minors, died from an apparent suicide inside in his Manhattan jail cell, officials confirmed Saturday.

Attorney General William Barr said in a statement Saturday that he was "appalled" to learn of the death and the Inspector General would open an investigation into the circumstances of his death. The FBI is also investigating. (cont.)
Then, wouldn't you know...
FoxNews.com: Epstein’s 'very high-profile' associates breathing easier: Deroy Murdock
Lukas Mikelionis, Aug. 10, 2019
High-profile people in politics and finance are likely “breathing a sigh of relief” after disgraced multimillionaire Jeffrey Epstein was found dead from an apparent suicide early Saturday morning inside his Manhattan jail cell, said Fox News contributor Deroy Murdock.
The 66-year-old Epstein, who was accused of sex trafficking minors, died at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City. He was transported to the New York Presbyterian-Lower Manhattan Hospital and was dead on arrival, officials said.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed that the FBI would be investigating the death.

Murdock told “Fox and Friends” Saturday morning that the shock death raises questions about how Epstein, who was already once found in his cell with thumbprints on his neck, ended up dead.

“Apparently he was supposed to be on suicide watch. Given how high profile a suspect he is, you’d think there would be a doctor in there …. and cameras and lights to make sure nothing like this happen,” he said.
“The fact he was able to either commit suicide or somebody got to him – who knows what happened because so little information here – it is amazing.”

The Fox News contributor went on to stress that Epstein’s alleged crimes implicated a lot of high-profile individuals, perhaps most notably former President Bill Clinton who occasionally flew on Epstein’s airplane. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
I have to say that Epstein's death is really no surprise, given all of the probable pedophiles higher up on the food chain, who may have hung him out to dry. I wonder who he angered? Or maybe he was just so careless that the higher ups were getting nervous.

What is a surprise is that a mainstream media outlet is suggesting something similar.

Rumors had been circulating quite some time ago about a huge amount of indictments of sex crimes, including pedophilia, being prepared for execution. When I say huge, I mean in the thousands.

It could be that the allusion here to the high profile individuals breathing a sigh of relief is a suggestion that the fight isn't over, or that Epstein was not the last scapegoat to be offered up, and that more are to come in an attempt to save those even higher on the food chain.

Why aren't Otzmah Yehudit and Noam Getting Married?

English follows the Hebrew.

Rabbi Tzvi Tau
(Photo: Michael Yaacovon)

Noam Party
A Normal People in Our Land

Rabbi Tzvi Yehudah Kook ztz"l and Rabbi Meir Kahane hy"d at the Western Wall
Tomer Devorah explores the agreement between Otzmah Yehudit and Rabbi Tau's nascent Noam Party. She makes some very good and important points. However, I would like to expand upon them.

Otzmah Yehudit Party

Rabbi Tau has always been very mamlakhti (diehard state loyalist). Having learned with Rabbi Amital, who was eventually involved with the Meimad (religious faction of the Labor Party), this should come as no surprise.

The story of Rabbi Tau's exit from the Merkav HaRav Yeshiva and subsequent establishment of the Har HaMor Yeshiva is a bit more complicated than the historical disagreement regarding how to qualify teachers. But, I will not elaborate on this here.

Rabbi Avraham Shapira ztz"l
The main difference between Har HaMor and Merkav HaRav is that the Merkaz HaRav students were told to go out an protest the impending expulsion from Gaza (2005). The Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Avraham Shapira ztz"l (who ascended to the position over Rabbi Tau) told IDF soliders not only to refuse orders which violate the Torah, and not only to sit in jail for it, but also to be proud that they were sitting in jail because of this; whereas Rabbi Tau was very much against refusal of IDF orders.

The significance of Rabbi Tau's displeasure, to say the least with the IDF's co-ed units policy, ... He is actually acknowledging in a very grand way that the State is not perfect, and perhaps we no longer have to be "patient" with the non-religious Jews running the State, after all.

There is a story  that Rabbenu Tzvi Yehudah signed a letter saying (paraphrase) that it would be good that Rabbi Meir Kahane would be in the Knesset. The mamalakhti students claimed that Rabbi Tzvi Yehuda was starting to become senile, and so brushed off his signature on this letter. The eye witness testimony I received states that Rabbi Moshe Kaplan indeed brought such a letter to Rabbenu Tzvi Yehudah. The Rabbi read it, and signed it. But, this eye witness also states unequivocally that Rabbi Tzvi Yehudah maintained possession of all of his faculties until two weeks before his death.

www.rabbikahane.org
Yesterday, it seemed that one of the greatest scholars, of the mamlakhti camp, is willing to join with students of Rabbi Kahane, after years of disagreeing with much of his approach.

Yet, there is another story, which I have yet to confirm with any of the parties involved, that a young yeshiva student came to Rabbi Tau to seek counsel regarding his impending engagement. Rabbi Tau reportedly told this student that the woman's father was a hacham (Torah scholar), so what was the question? Soon after, that yeshiva student married the young lady in question, one of Rabbi Kahane's daughters.

This time around, Rabbi Tau is not so interested in a marriage between his students and those of Rabbi Kahane. Apparently, Otzmah Yehudit is open to including a secular candidate; whereas Noam is not. And, personally, I completely understand.

Unanswered Questions about MK Betzalel Smotrich

English follows the Hebrew.

Waller with MK Smotrich

In the Foreign Prayer Space
About a year and half ago, founder of the Hayovel organization Tommy Waller was caught on video speaking about sharing the message of Christianity to Jews in the Shomron (Samaria). Apparently, he did not realize he was being filmed. After he was caught, he "apologized," and called upon all Christians to stop their missionary activity. And the Hayovel volunteers continued their work as before.

National Union-Tequma chair, and current Minister of Transportation, Betzalel Smotrich was photographed with members of the Waller Family, along with their Jewish collaborators (faces hidden) years before Waller's "apology" video.

So, what is Minister Smotrich's excuse? What is his current connection with these Christians, who are essentially residing in Israel?

These very questions were sent to Minister Smotrich,...twice. In spite of receipt confirmation of one of these emails from his staff, any response from the minister has yet to be received.

And now, Smotrich is being referred to as "Harda"l," Haredi-Religious-Zionist.

If walking around and chatting with, and even speaking in the prayer space of a group which worships a false deity-messiah warrants being called "Harda"l," then I am afraid to ask what being called a regular Religious Zionist entails.

There is a positive commandment to build a House for The Almighty, prepared for bringing the sacrifices, and for celebrating three times each year, as it says, "Make for me a Temple" (Ex. 25:8); and it is already understood in the Torah the Mishkan (Tabernacle) that Moshe Rabbenu made, in the meantime, as it is said, "For you have not yet come..." (Deut. 12:9) Mishneh Torah, Laws of the Temple 1:1
"For you have not yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the LORD your God gives to you. But when you go over the Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God causes you to inherit, and He gives you rest from all your enemies round about, so that you dwell in safety; then it will come to pass that the place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause His name to dwell there, there you will bring all that I command you: your burnt-offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which you vow to the LORD.  And you will rejoice before the LORD your God, you, and your sons, and your daughters, and your men-servants, and your maid-servants, and the Levite who is within your gates, for as much as he has no portion nor inheritance with you. Take heed to yourself that you do not offer your burnt-offerings in every place that you see; but rather in the place which the LORD will choose in one of your tribes, there you will offer you burnt-offerings, and there you will do all that I command you." (Deut. 12:9-14)

Ehud Baraq and Avigdor Lieberman out to Scare the National Religious

English follows the Hebrew.

Pepe Alalu (Meretz): Free or Haredi

Together we will stop the Haredization -Meretz/Labor

A Torah Law State or a Democratic State Democratic Israel - Ehud Baraq

In 2008, Nir Barkat was elected Mayor of Jerusalem. During the election, leftists wandered around Jerusalem trying to scare the city's residents, and in particular those within the national religious community.
"Do you want modesty patrols in your neighborhoods?"

"Do you want them to tell your wives to cover their hair and how to dress?"
That is how they tried to frighten national religious, modern orthodox, and traditional Jews.

City Council member and self-proclaimed "orthodox feminist," Rachel Azaria (Yerushalmim, Yesh Atid) produced the film "The Battle for Jerusalem," and worked hard to encourage the building of  new towns for the Haredi (Ultra-Orthodox) community. Sounds like a helpful thing to do, right? Not at all. She wanted to prevent the "Haredization" of Jerusalem by encouraging the Haredim to live in such new towns. In other words, not in Jerusalem.

Nir Barkat's victory against Menachem Porush (United Torah Judaism) was due to the internal dispute between Haredim, particularly within the Gur community.

Lieberman. Yes to a Jewish State No to a Torah Law State! Yisrael Beitenu - Israel Our Home
Eleven years later, the strategy of attempting to frighten the national religious community into voting more left than they usually would is alive and well, and in full force.

The truth is that leftists are not really interested in democracy at all. If they were interested in democracy, then they would accept the decisions of the majority ... even when the ultra-Orthodox and the settlers will eventually be the majority.

U. S. Politics: Mostly Only for Entertainment Purposes

Daily Wire: Trump's Tweets Are A Gift To His Enemies
Matt Walsh, July 15, 2019
Flag of the United States of México
Last week was a particularly bad week for the Democrats. After Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) implied that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is racist by accusing her of "singling out" minority representatives, a very intense and public squabble (don't call it a catfight!) broke out between the different factions of the Democratic Party. Meanwhile, a group of protestors at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility tore down an American flag and replaced it with the Mexican flag. At a different ICE facility, an Antifa terrorist waged an attack with a gun and explosive devices. He was killed by police. Like I said, it's been a bad few days for the Democrats. All Trump had to do to win the week was step back and let them self-destruct. Instead, as is so often the case, Trump threw the Democrats a lifeline in the form of a stupid tweet. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
July 4, 1776 coincided with 17 b'Tammuz.
Now, as most of you know, I see American politics as existing mostly for entertainment purposes. Mostly. Now that U. S. President Trump has become more involved in the back and forth with these four Members of Congress, I expect that things may devolve from being entertaining into something more akin to being cringe-worthy.

Many of my American Jewish friends cringe at this statement, both the "Armchair Zionist" variety and even many of those Jews who actually made it here to Israel, but still celebrate the Fourth of July for some odd reason.

They still see the U. S. as the all important and power ally, in spite of the threats of U. S. troops on our soil, which they would probably welcome, impending forced land giveaways, which they are still in denial about, and increased Christian tourism, which they would also probably welcome, even encourage (Gotta grow the economy, right?!). The smart Christians, by the way, have long since set aside missionizing (for now), in favor of attempts to reside here permanently. Many of the these proud American Jews do not see an issue with. Yes, even the religious ones, mostly because they have been taught the incorrect definition of avodah zarah (foreign worship), and to throw around the names "HaMe'iri" and "Rabbenu Gershon," even though their rulings regarding avodah zarah have little if anything to do with whether they may, or may not, reside in the Land of Israel.

The Land of Israel
The "Armchair Zionists" are in far worse shape. To many of them, the U. S. is, and always will be, their home. Even though the U. S., and every other country outside of Israel, is only supposed to be a temporary dwelling place, until residing in Israel once again became attainable. I have been trying to get this message through Jewish politicians still residing in galut (exile), for some time now.

When I say "Armchair Zionists," that includes President Trump's religious (orthodox) Jewish son-in-law, who may, or may not, be involved in forcing Israel to give up parts of the territory it has conquered (albeit in a half-hearted way, it seems these days), lands which have been Divinely Promised to the Jewish People, lands which are not his, the President's, the Israel Prime Minister's, or any other human being's decision to give up.

In a nutshell, the so-called "right-wing" Jews have aligned themselves with Esau  (the West, both Christians and progressives), and the "progressive left" has aligned itself with Yishma'el (Arabs / Muslims).

Meanwhile, the Erev Rav (mixed multitude), one of whose roles is seen as attempting to join together  Esau (the West, both Christians and progressives) with Yishma'el , thus delaying ge'ulah (redemption), are laughing all the way to the bank,...and all the way to the polls.

Meanwhile, one of the only times when U. S. politics is not for entertainment purposes, is when they are trying to distract us from something. Then it is actually important to pay close attention!

Avigdor Lieberman's Definition of Normal

English follows the Hebrew.

Natan Sharansky
Yoel "Yuli" Edelstein

Lieberman. Yes to a Jewish State. No to a State of Torah Law!
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Yisael Beitenu Party Chair Avigdor Liebman, I am sure that Natan Sharansky and Speaker of the Knesset Yoel "Yuli" Edelstein did not go through all of their self-sacrifice for the Jews of the former Soviet Union in order to make aliyah and speak English!! Did you create this campaign in English for the sake of new immigrants? Did you write this ad to mimic the style of U. S. President Trump's slogan?

And what exactly does "Make Israel Normal Again" mean? Jewish, but without Torah?

Photo credit: Gali Tibbon, Israel Hayom, 2014
So, then when you go to the Western Wall in full religious regalia, it is just to pander to the religious, and get every vote you can? Votes from these same religious Jews who pray three times a day for The Holy One, Blessed Be He, to bring us Mashi'ah and to return the Beth HaMiqdash (Temple) to its place?

Clearly, you do not believe in the same Israel they believe in. So that must have been just an old strategy from a previous election.
