בעקבות נערים שנחשדו ביידוי אבנים, ניידת הבילוש ניגחה את רכבם מאחור ומעוצמת הפגיעה הועף מהכביש. נער אחד נהרג וארבעה נוספים נפצעו בהתהפכות רכבמאת אילת כהנא ו׳ בטבת ה׳תשפ״א 21/12/2020..."הדם על ידיהם של מפקדי ימ"ר ש"י שמתירים את דמם של טובי ילדינו", התבטא בחריפות שמואל (זנגי) מידד, מנכ"ל חוננו. "הזוועה הזו צריכה להרעיד את אמות הסיפים של משטרת ישראל והמשרד לביטחון פנים. וכך גם כל הדרגים שמנחים התנהגות רצחנית כזו ומתקצבים אותה בתקציבי עתק. ארץ אל תכסי דמם!"
עו"ד איתמר בן גביר, מראשי עוצמה יהודית, קורא להקים ועדת חקירה על הריגת נער הגבעות במהלך מרדף של בלשי היחידה המרכזית מחוז ש"י. "המרדף נעשה בניגוד לנהלי המשטרה, כאשר התנהלות השוטרים בשטח סיכנה את עצמם והן את הצעירים", הוא אומר. "אין ולא הייתה כל הצדקה למרדף כזה ודאי כאשר עסקינן בעובדה שהשוטרים ידעו את זהות נוסעי המכונית. אין לי ספק שאם היה מדובר באירוע ברהט או באום אל פחם, המשטרה הייתה מכילה את האירוע ולכל היותר עוצרת את הצעירים בשלב מאוחר יותר. אין זו הפעם הראשונה ששוטרים במחוז ש"י פועלים באגריסביות יתר מול נערי הגבעות ולא פעם הנערים הללו סובלים מהתעללות משטרתית. הגיע הזמן להקים ועדת חקירה שתבחן את התנהלות משטרת מחוז ש"י".

הילדים האלה נחשדו שיידו אבנים ברכב ערבי בתגובה על רצח של אסתר הורגן הי״ד. שוטרי משטרת כוחות השלטון החליטו להשתמש בכוח אדם שלהם לרדוף אחר נוער הגבעות ולא להוסיף שוטרים לחיפוש רוצחיאסתר הורגן. ומה עם ההשקעה ומאמצים בכדי למנוע את פיגוע הטרור הבא?

אינני יכול להוסיף למה שמואל מדד ואיתמר בן גביר כבר אמרו, חוץ משקשה לי מאוד לקבל שתקשורת החדשות חייבת לקרוא לאירוע הזה ״תאונה״ לפני תום החקירה.

The Jewish Press: Bat Ayin Teenager Killed in Car Accident During Police Chase

A 19-year-old* youth from the Gush Etzion Jewish community of Bat Ayin was killed Monday in a car accident during a police chase in Samaria.
Israel police were attempting to arrest a group of young Israeli “hilltop youths” and young men — including Ahuviya Sandak – who were suspected of throwing rocks at Arab vehicles as they passed near the town of Kochav HaShachar in the Binyamin region......Shmuel Medad, CEO of the Honenu an Israeli Zionist legal aid organization, accused the police of killing the teen.
“The blood is on the hands of the commanders of Judea and Samaria district, who allow the spilling of the blood of our best children,” Medad said.
“This horror should make the Israel Police and the Public Security Ministry tremble. And so too for all the echelons that guide such murderous behavior and allocate huge budgets for it. The land should not cover their blood!”December 21, 2020...Otzma Yehudit leader Itamar Ben-Gvir slammed police, complaining that had the 19-year-old* been a Bedouin from Rahat, the officers wouldn't have chased him......Ben-Gvir, who is also a lawyer, argued that the chase was not called for since the officers on the scene allegedly knew who all the passengers in the car were. He called on the Knesset to hold an inquiry into police conduct in the West Bank.The right-wing NGO Honenu argued that the passengers were cuffed before being taken to hospital despite their injuries, N12 reported....
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
These kids were suspected of throwing rocks in retribution for Esther Horgen's hy"d murder. Instead of searching for Esther Horgen's killers, and dare I suggest trying to prevent the next terrorist attack, the minions of the powers that be chose to expend resources to chase kids. And dare I say recklessly?
I could not possibly add to what Shmuel Medad and Itamar Ben Gvir have already said, except to say that it is very difficult for me to accept that the news media must call this incident an "accident" before the completion of the investigation.
*Ahviyah was not 19 years old; he was 16 years old.
