"Kosher" Media Network

 כ' לחודש השישי תשע"ג

Kosher Media Network

I received a message from jblast.com, due to my subscription to Kosher Media Network. It included the following lines about Yom Kippur tefilloth (prayers):

How is this "kosher?"

Clarification: In case you have no clue what I'm talking about, I mean the female "rabbis."

Apparently, there will be a "livecast" of the "services," as well.

Well, over 10 business days ago, I wrote the following in response to receiving this utterly offensive, and galuth (exile) mentality-oriented, e-mail:

Don't you think it's misleading when the "kosher media network" lends its name to associates such as these?

After all, being "kosher" has to do with a heck of a lot more than just what goes into a Jew's mouth.

Thank you in advance for your response.

P. S. I do love your book Quick And Kosher!

What are your thoughts on this? I think this either about compromising principles for the sake of money, or just plain ol' feminism, sneaking into where it does not belong, Kosher Judaism.

It's like those "kosher style," "Jewish restaurants," traif with schmaltz.

Batya, if there's enough schmaltz, it can be bateil b'shishim. :)
