English follows the Hebrew.

YNET: Israeli rabbis ask pope to clarify remarks on Jewish lawEsser Agaroth (2¢):
Head of Jewish state's relations with Holy See sends letter to senior cardinal after Pontiff Francis appears to suggest during public sermon that Torah is obsolete and that 'fulfillment is only found withChrist'
Reuters | 08.25.21
Israel's top Jewish religious authorities have told the Vatican they are concerned about comments that Pope Francis made about their books of sacred law and have asked for a clarification.
In a letter seen by Reuters, Rabbi Rasson Arousi, chair of the Commission of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel for Dialogue with the Holy See, said the comments appeared to suggest Jewish law was obsolete...
..."The law (Torah) however does not give life." (cont.)
Why are Jews surprised by such comments? Christianity was founded on the basis of rejection of the Oral Torah. It is certainly clear that these rabbis know this. About two thousand years ago, Haza"l (Our Sages of blessed memory) led by Rabban Gamliel even added a blessing to our 18-faceted prayer because of these heretics: "May the heretics and the informers [apostates] be without hope..."
Why do we need interfaith dialogue? Must we convince the Pope that he and all the Christians in the world are greatly mistaken?
... you are not commanded to pursue them outside of the Land. (Mishnah Torah, Laws of Foreign Worship and non-Jews 7: 2)
No, we do not.
So, why should we care about his opinions of us?
Before Rosh Hashanah, we remind each other that "The King is in the field." At this time should not only worry about what Our King, The Almighty requires of us, but also finally stop concerning ourselves with what worshippers of false deities think of us, especially now that many of us live in the Land of Israel, in the Divinely Promised Homeland of the Jewish People.

"Esau hates Jacob." - Rabbi Shimon Bar-YochaiThat is, Esau (Edom) being the West (Malbi"m), and more specifically Rome, and its inheritors.

We should all know that 'interfaith' dialogue is really prohibited. The gedolei hador always forewarned never, ever to dialogue on 'religion' with other faiaths, but this is just what many of our so-called rabbis just love as they are what we know as Erev Rav rabbis. Chazal foretold us milennia ago, that at keitz hayamim, most of the 'rabbis' will be Erev Rav! We are truly the lowest generation and that is why Moshiach is very close by. We will have the Geulah (hopefully, b'rachamim rabim) because we will be standing on shoulders of our ancestors and may it come speedily!
