הארץ: בג"ץ מעכב את מינויו של הרב הצבאי הראשי עקב התבטאויותיו על נשים

אייל קרים אמר בעבר כי יש להרוג מחבלים שנפצעו, הומואים הם חולים ונשים הן סנטימנטליות. שופטי העליון, שדנו בעתירת מרצ נגד מינויו, מתחו עליו ביקורת חריפה ודרשו שיבהיר עמדותיו

בג"ץ הורה לעצור את מינויו של אלוף משנה אייל קרים לרב הצבאי הראשי עד שיבהיר את עמדותיו, זאת לאחר פרסום התבטאויות עבר בעייתיות שלו, בין היתר בנוגע לנשים. שופטי בג"ץ דנו היום (שני) בעתירה של חברות כנסת מפלגת מרצ כנגד מינויו של קרים. במהלך הדיון מתחו השופטים ביקורת על אמירותיו ודרשו כי יבהיר את עמדותיו בנושאים לגביהם התבטא. צו ביניים הוצא למינויו לתפקיד.

שופטי בג"ץ קיבלו את טענת העותרות, לפיהן מאמירותיו של קרים "עולה שנאת נשים יוקדת, הומופוביה וחוסר סבלנות משווע כלפי זרים". במהלך הדיון אמרו השופטים: "רב ראשי בצה"ל הוא דמות ערכית ומוסרית. לא יכול להיות שדברים כאלה מזעזעים יעברו מבלי לקבל הבהרה. האם הרב עומד מאחוריהם גם היום?". השופט סלים ג'ובראן אמר כי "הדברים שנאמרו מזעזעים בלשון המעטה", ושאל: "איפה בהלכה כתוב שמותר לאנוס נשים?".

קרים ספג ביקורת בעקבות התבטאויותיו בנוגע לאונס נשים בזמן מלחמה וגיוס נשים לצה"ל. כמו כן, טען הרב קרים בנוגע לשאלות שהופנו אליו באתר "כיפה" כי יש להרוג מחבלים מתאבדים שנפצעו, כי נשים אינן יכולות להעיד בבית משפט מפני שאופיין "הסנטימנטלי" אינו מאפשר זאת, וכי היחס להומו צריך להיות כאל "חולה או בעל מום". בנוסף, סבר קרים כי יש לשרוף את הברית החדשה. עשר אגורות (2¢):
הנה בית משפט גדול צדק [בג״ץ] חילוני ,שרוב (כל?) השופטים שלו פסולים לעידות, שולט על מינוי של רב.

הנה שופט ערבי שרוצה ללמד אותנו תורה? והשופט הזה הוא נוצרי. חוסר לנוצרים חצי התורה, תורה שבעל פה, ואז הם לא יכולים להבין את הפירושים המדויקים של התורה שבכתב.

אבל יש משהו יותר גרוע מזה: יש יהודים, יהודים שטוענים שהם שומרי תורה ומצוות, שמקבלים את זה. למה? ״למען הדמוקרטיה.

 בואו נקרא את מה שכתוב בתורה. ואחר מכן, אתם תוכלו להגיד לי מי יודע תורה יותר טוב, הרב כרים או השופט ג׳ובראן והשופטת נאור.

אונס נשים בזמן המלחמה (והמלחמה הזאת היא מלחמת רשות):

וְרָאִיתָ, בַּשִּׁבְיָה, אֵשֶׁת, יְפַת-תֹּאַר; וְחָשַׁקְתָּ בָהּ, וְלָקַחְתָּ לְךָ לְאִשָּׁהכִּי-תֵצֵא לַמִּלְחָמָה, עַל-אֹיְבֶיךָ; וּנְתָנוֹ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ, בְּיָדֶךָ--וְשָׁבִיתָ שִׁבְיוֹ. (דברים כא,י-יא)

להסתכל למחבלים ערבים כחיות בר:

וַיֹּאמֶר לָהּ מַלְאַךְ יְהוָה, הִנָּךְ הָרָה וְיֹלַדְתְּ בֵּן, וְקָרָאת שְׁמוֹ יִשְׁמָעֵאל, כִּי-שָׁמַע יְהוָה אֶל-עָנְיֵךְ. וְהוּא יִהְיֶה, פֶּרֶא אָדָם--יָדוֹ בַכֹּל, וְיַד כֹּל בּוֹ; וְעַל-פְּנֵי כָל-אֶחָיו, יִשְׁכֹּן. (בראשית טז,יא-יב)

 הומוסקטואלים (זכרים; ולפי רש״י מדברת כאן על התנהגות מסוימת אחת):

וְאִישׁ, אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁכַּב אֶת-זָכָר מִשְׁכְּבֵי אִשָּׁה--תּוֹעֵבָה עָשׂוּ, שְׁנֵיהֶם; מוֹת יוּמָתוּ, דְּמֵיהֶם בָּם.(ויקרא כ,יג)

אתם לא צריכים לאהוב את זה. אתם לא צריכים להסכים עם זה. אבל, להגיד שהרב כרים לא יודע תורה, הוא דבר מגוחך.

זה לא ששופטי הבג״ץ לא אוהבים את הבנת התורה של הרב כרים. (בטח שהם לא אוהבים את זה.) אלא, השופטים האלה לא אוהבים את התורה בכלל. שהתורה משפיעה ליהודים ואפילו למדינת ישראל טיפה קטנה מכעיס ומפחיד אותם להם חבל על הזמן.

השופטים האלה פשוט רוצים שמדינת ישראל תהיה כמו כל מדינה בעולה וחברה בקהילה גלובלית, ורוצים שעם ישראל יהיה ככל עם אחר בעולם. אבל, האנשים ששולטים עליהם מאחרי הוילון רוצה להשמיד את עם ישראל, ואת השליטה היהודית על ארץ ישראל, מבפנים.

עדכון:
הרב כרים טוען שסילפו את הדעות שלו לגבי העניינים הרשומים למעלה. וח״כ זהבה גל-און טוענת שהרב כרים מתחרט על הדעות שלו ולכן יש [למפלגת מר״צ] ניצחון.

כנראה, הרב כרים דיבר על העניינים האלה בעבר בשיעורים ובעיקרון. ועכשיו הוא הבהיר את הדעות שלו.

Israel's High Court of Justice issued an interim order on Monday to delay the appointment of Col. Eyal Karim as the new chief rabbi of the Israel Defense Forces. The court ordered Karim to clarify his positions in light of reports of problematic statements – including on issues concerning women and gays – that he has made in the past.

In response to the court's order, the IDF cancelled Wednesday's planned ceremony at which Karim was due to officially replace the current chief rabbi, Brig. Gen. Rafi Peretz.

The High Court's decision was taken at a hearing Monday after a petition was filed by the Meretz party against Karim’s appointment, which was proposed by IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot. During the hearing, the justices criticized a number of statements made years ago by Karim. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
So, basically, we have a secular court with the power to intervene in the appointment of a rabbi. Not only that, but , most (all?) of the judges of this High Court are disqualified under Torah Law from providing testimony in a Rabbinic Court, and thus disqualified from serving as judges of Torah Law.

We have a non-Jewish judge telling Jews what the Torah says. Even more so, we have a Christian judge, one who lacks the Oral Torah, and thus could not possibly understand the Written Torah, in the first place.

Let us take a look at what the actually Torah says, vis-à-vis Rabbi Karim's comments:

As a civilian, over a decade ago, Karim was asked about the biblical verses relating to how a soldier should act during wartime if he sees a beautiful woman behind enemy lines and wants to rape her. At the time, Karim reportedly said, "Although fraternizing with a non-Jewess is a very bad thing, it is allowable in war out of consideration for the difficulties of the fighters."

When you go out to war against against your enemies, and the LORD your God delivers them into your hands, and you carry them away captive, 11 and sees among the captives a woman of goodly form, and you have a desire for her, and would take her to wife... (Deut. 21:10-11)

Gay Men:

And if a man lie with mankind, as with womankind, both of them have committed abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Lev. 20:13)

Arab Terrorists as animals:

Behold, you are with child, and will bear a son; and you will call him Ishmael, because the LORD hath heard your affliction. And he will be a wild ass of a man: his hand shall be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he will dwell in the face of all his brethren. (Gen. 16:11-12)

You can agree or disagree, like or dislike, but the point is that is statements regarding what the Torah says are not out of the blue, not even close.

It is not that they do not like Rabbi Karim's understanding of the Torah. They don't, of course. But, rather, it is that the do not like the Torah period. The thought of the Torah having anymore influence in Israel than the little that it already does, both angers and frightens them.

These judges may simply want the State of Israel to be like any other member state of a global community, and want The People of Israel to be like any other people. But, those who are pulling their strings, whether they know it or not, are trying to destroy the Jewish People, and Jewish sovereignty over the Land, from within.

Update:
Rabbi Karim believes his statements were distorted. MK Zahava Gal-On believes that Rabbi Karim has recanted on his statements, and that this is [some sort of] of victory [for the Mere"tz Party and the Left].

My guess is that Rabbi Karim was speaking about these issues in class and theoretically in the first place.

I stand by the main point of the this post.
