הצלב האדום הודיע כי מזכ"ל אונר"א לשעבר פייר קרנבול, שהתפטר בעקבות חשד לשחיתות, מונה למנכ"ל הארגון. בחקירה שהתנהלה נגד קרנבול עלו טענות על הטרדות מיניות, נפוטיזם וניצול סמכויות. בין השאר, נטען כי קרנבול מינה את הפלסטינית מריה מוחמדי, שעימה לכאורה ניהל יחסים אינטימיים, לתפקיד בכיר באונר"א בשכר של 200 אלף דולר.

בדרך כלל אני מוכן להגיד שהדוח על ידי דניאל אדלסון מספיק כדי להבין את היסוד הרשע של הוועד הבינלאומי של ארגון הצלב האדום.

לא היום. אף פעם לא מספיק להדגיש דבר כזה כשיהודים עושים אותו הטעות פעם אחר פעם ומצפים לתוצאות שונות. איזה טעויות? לסמוך ותמוך בהוועד הבינלאומי של ארגון הצלב האדום, ולצפות מהם החלטות צדקות.

The Red Cross announced on Friday that former UNRWA Commissioner-General Pierre Krähenbühl, who resigned due to corruption allegations, has been appointed as the organization's director-general.

Investigations against Krähenbühl raised claims of sexual harassment, nepotism and abuse of power. Among other allegations, it's claimed that Krähenbühl appointed the Palestinian Maria Mohammedi, with whom he supposedly had an intimate relationship, to a senior position in UNRWA on a $200,000 salary.

Generally I am willing to say that the report by Daniel Adelson is enough to understand the evil element of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Not today. It is never enough to emphasize such a thing when Jews make the same mistake over and over and expect different results. What mistakes? To trust and support the International Committee of the Red Cross, and to expect it to make just decisions.

Families of the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza, met on Thursday with Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross in an emotional exchange bringing some family members to tears.

An International Committee of the Red Cross representative refused to bring a box of life-saving medicine to Israelis taken hostage in Gaza, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed in a Monday address to the Knesset plenum.

"I met with the Red Cross; I handed them a box of medicine for some of the hostages shown here. Some of them really need it...I told a representative to take this box to Rafah; she said no. It was a difficult conversation," he told a special Knesset session attended by families of hostages, who were heard shouting "Now!" at the prime minister as he explained the return of all hostages would take time.

"We are sparing no effort, both seen and hidden, to bring all of the hostages home," Netanyahu said.

אל תדאגו. אני לא מצפה מאף מכם להגיע ליהודים כאלה כדי לעזור להם. מוכרים לי וליהודים כמוני כולל דתיים מודרניים, השטויות והליכלוך של תעשיית הבידור. רבים מאיתנו מדרום קליפורניה, ניו יורק וכדומה, כבר היו מלכודים בציפורניה וברחנו ממנה בהצלחה.

עליכם להמשיך לעסוק בעניינים אחרים, בין אם ללמוד בבית המדרש או לחימה בשטח הקרב נגד אויבי טרור.

נראה כי היהודים המוטעים הללו גם אינם מודעים להומואים שנזרקו מגגות בערב הסעודית, או שעוברים ניתוחים כפויים לשינוי מין באיראן.

רבים מהגוים המפגינים נגד ישראל לא יכולים למצוא במפה את הנהר והים המדוברים. רבים מהיהודים כן יכולים. וזה מפחיד מאוד.

אין צריך לומר שהיהודים כאלה לא מוכנים להקשיב לי על ישראל ועל מה שקורה כאן. כנראה הם מרגישים שאני מתנשא ושאני אחד מהמדכאים הלאומנים היהודים וכו'. אין בעיה. יש יהודים שאתם כן מוכנים להקשיב להם. והנה הם:

Many in the various religious, Jewish communities would discourage, even shun, any Jews from being connected to the mainstream, entertainment industry, and perhaps rightly so. To them I say, as long as any Jew lives, there is the opportunity for this Jew to leave עלמא דשקרא the illusionary world, and come back to the meaningful, Jewish spiritual world of authentic Torah.

But do not be alarmed. No one is expecting you to venture out, and to anywhere near there. Along with many other Jews, including many Modern Orthodox Jews from Southern California, New York City, and the like, I have already been there, and successfully escaped its clutches.

You have other matters to concern yourselves with, whether learning in the Beth HaMidrash (religious Jewish, study hall) or fighting on the battlefield against terrorist enemies.

We've got this. We will reach back into galuth (the exile), both physical and spiritual, to those Jews more interested in the current fashion trends and celebrity gossip than in their people, their heritage, and homeland. We will do what we can to reach those Jews caught up with the trendy, politically-correct, self-hating, collaboration with those who would just as soon see them disappear, as any other Jews.

There are Jews wearing a combination of Palestinian and Rainbow flags, marching in protests, and carrying signs reading "From the River to the Sea." These Jews seem to be unaware that Israel grants asylum to transpersons escaping persecution from the Palestinians Pseudostinians, while the Palestinian Authority could not care less about them, nor about the women and gay men who are victims of so-called honor killings.

These misguided Jews also seem to be unaware of the gay men thrown from rooftops in Saudi Arabia, or who go through forced gender reassignment surgeries in Iran.

The scary part is that as Jews, of all those anti-Israel protestors, you probably actually know the names and locations of the river and sea being referred to.

Needless to say, you are not going to listen to anything I have to say. Perhaps you feel condescended to, that I am one of the Jewish nationalist oppressors, etc. That's totally fine. However, I believe that there are some Jews whom you are will listen to. And here they are:

Gal Gadot, Natalie Portman, Jerry Seinfeld, David Schwimmer, Michael Rappaport, and Gregg Sulkin.

None of these actors endorse, support, nor even condone this blog. Samples from their social media have been placed here, using a public, embed function, which would not have been possible, if their settings had not allowed it.

Save for Gadot, who has a home in Israel, these actors choose to live and work outside of Israel. As far as I know, none of them are Torah-observant either. Nevertheless, look to the examples they have set. So many Jews and non-Jews alike are enticed by the "money, success, fame, glamour,"* the sparkling night life of Hollywood, the fantastical empire of the entertainment industry, not the largely symbolic neighborhood in Los Angeles.

Yet, look at how these actors risk their reputations, future work, careers, financial base, what have you, in order to do what is right, stepping up to speak on behalf of their brethren. Here the sparks of their ידישע נשמות Jewish souls shine bright.

May their light re-spark the souls of those Jews on the verge of being completely disconnected and lost from their people.

May these professional entertainers יזכו למצוות, gain merit in Heaven from their various mitzvoth (Torah commandments), Ahavath Yisrael (love of their People), biqqur holim (visiting the infirmed), pidyon sh'vu'im (redemption of captives), and more.

ערוץ 7: עלה של סגנית נשיא ארה"ב "המציא" את סיפור חנוכה?
בעלה של קמלה האריס פרסם פוסט לצד תמונת הדלקת נרות חנוכה עם סיפור הגבורה של המכבים. לאחר שספג ביקורת כי "זה לא סיפור חנוכה האמיתי" הוא מחק את הפוסט.

מבוכה לבעלה של סגנית הנשיא קמלה האריס. דאג אמהוף, בעלה של סגנית הנשיא קמלה האריס, פרסם תמונה שלו מדליק את נרות חנוכה יחד עם רעייתו.

לצד התמונה הוא פרסם פוסט על סיפור החנוכה וגבורת המכבים, אלא שגולשים רבים פרסמו תגובות ובהן ביקורת כי "לא מדובר בסיפור האמיתי של חנוכה".

בעקבות הביקורת, מחק אמהוף, שהוא יהודי, את הפוסט. "הסיפור של חנוכה וסיפור העם היהודי תמיד היה סיפור של תקווה וחוסן. בסיפור חנוכה העם היהודי נאלץ להסתתר. אחד לא חשב שהם ישרדו או שמעט טיפות השמן יחזיקו מעמד. אבל הם שרדו והשמן המשיך לבעור", כתב אמהוף.

"במהלך שמונת ימי המסתור, הם קראו את תפילותיהם והמשיכו במסורות שלהם. בגלל זה חנוכה פירושו הקדשה. באותם לילות אפלים התמסרו המכבים לשמירה על תקווה ואמונה בשמן, זה בזה וביהדותם. בימים אפלים אלו, אני חושב על הסיפור הזה".

אלא שזמן קצר לאחר פרסום פוסט החלו גולשים רבים להעביר ביקורת על אמהוף בטענה כי הפרטים אינם מדויקים ולא מדובר בסיפור האמיתי של חג החנוכה. "הקרן למורשת ישראל" פרסמה ציוץ בו נכתב כי "בושה! אף אחד בארה"ב לא צריך להסתיר את זהותו. מצטערים, אבל זה לא מה שציפינו ממך. כל יהודי בארה"ב תמיד יחשוף את זהותו!".

גולשת בשם טליה כץ הוסיפה בציוץ "זה...לא הסיפור האמיתי של חג החנוכה". גולש בשם ג'ק פוסובייץ כתב כי "דאג אמהוף מחק את זה, כי זה אינו סיפורו של חנוכה, מרד המכבים המתואר בתנ"ך". ג'ייסון בדריק מקרן המורשת הוסיף גם הוא ביקורת. "אני באמת מקווה שהג'נטלמן השני השאיר את זה לאיזה מתמחה אומלל וחסר השכלה שלא יכול היה לטרוח אפילו להתייעץ עם ויקיפדיה. שמונה ימים של מסתור? איכס, בן אדם!", כתב בדריק.

אז איך דאגלאס אמהוף אמור לדעת משהו על יהדות ובמיוחד על חג חנוכה? התנועה הרפורמית והחילונים בארץ ועוד מעוותים את סיפור על חנוכה שנים.

המלחמה לקראת חנוכת בית המקדש מחדש היתה מלחמה נגד התיוונות ונגד התבוללות בכלל. המלחמה לא היתה למען חופש ביטוי הדת. אין דבר כזה בתורה פרט למנהגים אם בכלל. דווקא ההפך כתוב! וברור שלא אכפת לרפורמים לא מחנוכת הבית השני ולא מבניית הבית השלישי!

בליל הראשון של חג חנוכה, אמהוף היה אורח מכובד בטקס הדלקת נרות של חב״ד. שיטה של חב״ד היא לא לבייש אלא להזמין וללמד למטרה לקרב יהודים כאלה לתורה. אפשר להניח שהוא עסוק מאוד. למרות זה היתה לו הזדמנות לשאול או להקשיב לטיפ-טיפה של סיפור על החג על ידי הרב המסדר את הטקס.

יש לאמהוף ניצוץ בגודל מספיק בנשמה יהודית שלו כדי לקום ולגנות את דברי נשיאות האוניברסיטות המגעילים בשימוע שעברו בועדת האנטישמיות בקמפוסים בבית הנבחרים ארה״ב. לכן אני מוכן להגיד כל הכבוד לו למרות החשש למניעים נסתרים אפשריים.

ניצחון במלחמה הזו לא היה רק ניצחון פיזי, אלא גם היה ניצחון רוחני עם חנוכת בית המקדש מחדש. המכבים נלחמו נגד ההתיוונות ונגד ההתבוללות בכלל. הם לא נלחמו למען חופש לביטוי הדת. אין דבר כזה בתורה מלבד מגוון המנהגים בין שבטי ישראל ומגוון המנהגים המתבטא היום. למעשה, התורה מצווה לנו בדיוק על ההפך מחופש לביטוי הדת!

בליל ראשון של חנוכה אמהוף היה אורח מכובד בטקס הדלקת נרות של חב"ד. השיטה של חב"ד ליהודים כאלה היא גישה של הכלה וחינוך במטרה לקרב אותם לתורה.

אפשר להניח שדאגלס אמהוף עסוק מאוד. למרות זאת, היתה לו הזדמנות להקשיב לדברי הרב בטקס או לבקש עלון או קישור אינטרנט כדי לעיין בדרך לאירוע הבא שלו.

בטקס הדלקת נרות של חב"ד, אמהוף אכן הוכיח שדי ניצוץ בנשמתו יהודית כדי לקום ולגנות את דבריהן המגעילים של נשיאיטת האוניברסיטה בשימוע האחרון בבית הנבחרים בוועדה לאנטישמיות בקמפוסים. זו הסיבה אני מוכן לדון בו בכף זכות לגבי מניעיו.

הוא פשוט לא התכונן מספיק. אבל מגיע לו תוכחה על כך כי דבריו דווקא היו על אירועים היסטוריים של בני עמו.

ולמרות שאני מרחם על אמהוף מה שקרה כל כך חשוב שכדאי להגיב ולא להתעלם מהטעויות שלו.

אני מתלבט. אסור להגיד לשון הרע על כתינוק נשבה. בצד השני אסור להתעלם מהנזק לכלל ישראל על ידי כתינוק שנשבה שנ׳ לא תעמוד על דם רעך (ויקרא יט,טז).

וכן עליו לעשות שיעורי בית שלו. אין לו תירוץ. הוא בייש את עצמו. הוא בייש את עצמו, ומול כל כך הרבה שדברי התוכחה פומבית שלי לא ממש מוסיפים לבושה שלו, בהנחה שהוא מרגיש את הבושה.

האשמת בושתו לא חברי התנועה הרפורמית ללא אינספור כתינוק שנישבה ואף לא על חברי התנועה הרפורמית שהם גויים גמורים. אלא האשמת הבושה של דאגלאס אמהוף היא על אלה שכן יודעים להבחין בין טוב לרע. האלה פועלים יומיומי כדי לחזק ולהגדיל את ההתיוונות בעם ישראל ולכך לפעול להשמדתו מבפנים.

הגויים מכירים את היהודים האלה כהגלובליסטים היהודים. היהודים מכירים אותם כחלק של הערב רב.

Fox News: VP Harris' husband botches Hanukkah story on social media during celebration of major Jewish holiday

Douglas Emhoff, the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris, got his Hanukkah story wrong in a Monday social media post and was scolded for the confusion before he deleted it.

In a post on X, formally known as Twitter, Emhoff posted an image of himself and Harris lighting a menorah. The post was accompanied by his version of the origins of the eight-day Jewish holiday.

"The story of Hanukkah and the story of the Jewish people has always been one of hope and resilience. In the Hanukkah story, the Jewish people were forced into hiding," he wrote. "No one thought they would survive or that the few drops of oil they had would last. But they survived and the oil kept burning."

"During those eight days in hiding, they recited their prayers and continued their traditions," Emhoff, who is Jewish and is working with the White House on combating antisemitism, continued in the now deleted post. "That’s why Hanukkah means dedication. It was during those dark nights that the Maccabees dedicated themselves to maintaining hope and faith in the oil, each other, and their Judaism."

He added that he thinks of the story during "dark times."

However, the Hanukkah story isn't about Jews hiding with only a little bit of oil. The holiday celebrates the re-dedication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem in the second century and celebrates the Jewish Maccabee's victory over their Greek-Syrian oppressors.

When the Jews sought to re-dedicate the temple, they found only a one-day supply of sacred oil that miraculously lasted for eight days.

Several social media users criticized Emhoff's post, with many saying his version didn't happen.

"How could this have happened?" wrote Noah Rothman, a senior writer for the National Review.

"I’m really hoping the Second Gentleman left this to some hapless and uneducated intern who couldn’t be bothered to even consult Wikipedia. Eight days of hiding? Yikes, man!" wrote Jason Bedrick, a research fellow for the Heritage Foundation’s Center for Education Policy.

Hanukkah began on Dec. 7 and runs through Friday.

Douglas Craig Emhoff was born on October 13, 1964, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Jewish parents, Barbara (née Kanzer) and Michael Emhoff. He has a brother and a sister. From 1969 to 1981, he grew up in Matawan and Old Bridge Township, New Jersey, and attended Cedar Ridge High School. His family were congregants of Temple Shalom, a Reform synagogue in Aberdeen Township at which Emhoff became a bar mitzvah in 1977....

Previously I have pointed out how cringey at least one of President Obama's Hanukkah celebrations was. Now it's Vice-President Kamala Harris's and her husband's turn.

But how is Douglas Amhoff supposed to know anything about Judaism and especially about Hanukkah? The Reform Movement, secular Jews in Israel, and others have been distorting the story of Hanukkah for years. And it is clear that those associated with the Reform Movement are not in the lease bit interested in the Holy Temple, not in its rededication over 2,000 years ago, and not its ultimate rebuilding!

The war culminated not only in a physical victory, but also in a spiritual victory with the rededication of the Temple. The war was against Hellenism and against assimilation in general. The war was not at all for the sake of the freedom of religious expression. There is no such thing in Torah, save for possibly that of the diversity of customs among the Tribes of Israel, which we can still see manifested today. In fact, the Torah proclaims quite the opposite of freedom of religious expression!

On the first night of Hanukkah, Amhoff was a guest at the Chabad's candle lighting ceremony. Chabad's approach to such Jews is not one of shaming, but rather one of inclusion and education, with the objective of bringing them closer to Torah observance.

We can assume that Douglas Emhoff is very busy. Despite this, he could have listened to a tidbit of a story about the holiday by the rabbi conducting the ceremony, or could have asked for a pamphlet or weblink to review on the way to his next event.

At the Chabad candle-lighting, Emhoff did demonstrate that the spark of his Yiddishe neshamah (Jewish soul) was sufficient to stand up and condemn the disgusting words of the university presidents at the recent Congressional hearing of the Committee on Anti-Semitism on Campuses. This why I have been willing to give him the benefit of the doubt regarding his motives.

He was just unprepared. But he should be admonished for being so unprepared when it came to historical events of his own people.

And although I feel sorry for Emhoff, I am afraid this is too important a faux pas, not to call him out on it.

But, wait a second. Some of you will call me out for calling Emhoff out.

It was taught [in a baraitha] before Rav Nahman bar Yitzhak: Anyone who humiliates another in public, it is as though he were spilling blood (Babylonian Talmud, Bava Metzia 58b)

...and he does not have any portion in the World To Come (Mishnah Avoth 3:14).

I go back and forth on this. On one hand, it is forbidden to say lashon hara (inappropriate speech) about a ketinoq shenishba (like a Jew held captive by non-Jews from childhood), and who does not know any better. On the other hand, it is forbidden to ignore the damage to all of Israel caused by him, as it is said "Do not stand idly by" (Lev. 19:16).

He should have done his homework. He has no excuse. He embarrassed himself, and in front so many that my words of public admonishment do not really add to his shame, assuming he experienced any.

No. The guilt falls solely on and not even on the ountless ketinoq shenishba and completely non-Jewish members of the Reform Movement. The guild is upon those who do know better, and operate on a day to day basis to keep Hellenism alive among the Jewish People, working to destroy it from within.

Non-Jews know them as Jewish globalists. Jews know them as a segment of the Erev Rav.

רוב הישראלים שמעו על נשיאות האוניברסיטות הרוורד, פנסיבניה, והמכון הטכנולוגי של מסצ׳וסטס שהשתתפו בשימוע בועדת אנטישמיות בקמפוסים של בית הנבחרים ארה״ב.

גם בליגת "האייבי״ (״הקיסוס״ - בגלל החומות המכוסות בקיסוס) עם הרווארד ופן נמצאות האוניברסיטאות השמאלניות הידועה לשמצה בראון וקולומביה. האם אוניברסיטאות ייל ופרינסטון ודארטמות' יכולות להיות טובות יותר? חבר ובוגר של אוניברסיטת קורנל בדיוק אמר לי שהוא חושב שקורנל גרועה באותה רמה.

בחוף המערבי של ארה״ב יש אוניברסיטת קליפורניה, ברקלי ואוניברסיטת קליפורניה, לוס אנג'לס [UCLA] איפה אני למדתי. אני נזכר היטב שבשנות ה-80 רשמו את הביטוי "ציונות = גזענות" על דלת המשרד של אגודת הסטודנטים השחורים (אמריקאים אפריקאים).

*הציונות לא מוציאה מכלל גזע מסוים, אלא רק אמונות.

גורמים ליהודים האמריקאים ליהודי אמריקה שמאמינים שיש להם חובה להשיג תואר אקדמי באוניברסיטה, מה אתם אמורים לעשות עכשיו? להסתיר את זהותכם היהודית באוניברסיטות האלה? להתנהג שעברתם בהתלחה את שטיפת המוח של שנאה עצמית? או לעבור את שטיפת המוח זו באמת כדי לשרוד באווירה כזו? שווה לכם?

ככה זה בארה״ב אצל משפחות יהודיות. מי שלא לומד ומצליח להפוך להיות רופא, עורך דין, או עמיל בורסה הוא כשל. נותנים לבן אחד משפחה הגדולה להיות רב ועוד אחד לעבוד בבידור. וזהו.

יש חברות הייטק מפסיקות לדרוש תוארים אקדמיים ופשוט דורשות יצירתיות. יש חברות בכלל מפסיקות לדרוש תואר שני במנהל עסקים ומעדיפים יותר ניסיון.

לא אכפת להורים יהודים בארה״ב. אלא הם מצפים שהילדים שלהם ישיגו את חתיכת הנייר הזו (תעודת גמר).

אז מה יש להורים יהודים באמריקה לעשות? לשלוח את הילדים שלהם ארצה? זו יכולה להיות ההתלבטות שלהם קשה ביותר. ילדיהם יקבלו השכלה אוניברסיטאית ברמה הגבוהה אפילו יוקרתית. אבל מה אם הם ימצאו בן או בת זוג? ואז מה אם הם רוצים להישאר בארץ? אוי גוואלד! (בציניות)

כשמציעים להם את הפתרון הזה הם יגידו "תודה לאל שילדינו לא מדברים עברית!"

אין בעיה.

כיום יש הזדמנויות רבות לסטודנטים ללמוד באוניברסיטה באנגלית, ולא רק לתואר ראשון, אלא גם לתארים מתקדמים. יש אפילו בתי ספר לרפואה דוברי אנגלית בתל אביב באר שבע ובצפת.

יש תוכנית MBA דוברי אנגלית במכון הטכניון היוקרתי. למרות הירידה בדרישות MBA, יש הזדמנויות של סטג׳, הרשת, וההשמה בעבודה שיש! כמובן שזו סיבה נוספת לכך שהורים יהודים באמריקה יתנגדו לילדיהם ללמוד בישראל.

אז מה הכוונה של הכתבה הזו?

כדברי הרב משה ליכטמן, בספרו ארץ ישראל בפרשה (באנגלית), "היהודים שכחו שהגלות היא עונש".

יהודי אמריקה עדיין לא מסוגלים או לא רוצים לראות את הכתובת על הקיר (כמו במשתה בלשאצר; הסמנים המופיעים בענייני השעה). יותר קל להם להכחיש את העלייה באנטישמיות בשנאת היהודים בארה"ב, ולא רק בקמפוסים של אוניברסיטות. פעם אחר פעם, יהודים מתעקשים להאמין ששוב הכל יהיה בסדר, ושיהודים כמוני הם משוגעים משיחיים ואוהבים לעשות בלגנים וליצור מחלוקות.

הורים יהודי אמריקה בהחלט לא מעוניינים להתיחס לישראל כהמולדת האמיתית היחידה של עם ישראל אלא מרגישים בבית יותר בארה"ב. אפילו רבים מהציונים כביכול הדתיים המודרניים לא מוכנים להשתתף ממש בבנייתה חוץ מבזריקת כסף עלינו. הם מוכנים לאפשר לילדיהם לבלות שנה בישיבה, או אפילו בצה"ל, למטרה להסיר מעצמם את הרגשותם של האשמה שהם עדיין גרים בחו״ל בגולה.

הביטוי התקוע בראש שלהם הוא "ישראל היא ארץ מולדת של העם ישראל, אבל יהודים אחרים יכולים לעשות את כל העבודה שם בשבילנו".

אפילו יש יהודים מתעקשים באומרו, "גם העבודה שלנו למען ישראל בארה"ב חשובה!"

עד מתי תפסיקו לחיות בסרט הזה?! אם אתם לא מוכנים להשתתף בבניית ארץ מולדתנו, אם אתם מתעקשים להמשיך להשקיע בארצות מקלטנו הזמניות שמספקות על ידי בעליהן הגויים, אם אתם מתעקשים להתלונן על הבעיות שבממשלת ישראל (אני מתלונן עליה כל הזמן!), אבל לא מוכנים להשתתף בפתרון לשנותה, אז בבקשה תצילו את ילדיכם, מציפורני הגלות.

אני כבר מניח שלא תקשיבו לי.

אתם רק רואים את המלחמה ממוקדת בארץ ומסרבים לראות שרק מרכז המלחמה נמצא כאן. המלחמה נמצאת בכל רחבי העולם. הילדים שלנו בארץ מסכנים את חייהם למען מולדתנו, ונופלים כמו זבובים, בשל המדיניות הנוגד בתורה של המדינה.

אנחנו באמת צריכים עזרה מכם.

אתם באמת צריכים עזרה ממנו, אבל אתם מסרבים לקבל את זה.

אז אני מאחל את הילדיכם בהצלחה בהרווארד, או ב-UCLA, או בכל מקום אחר. האונברסיטות של התבוללות. אני מתפלל שכולכם תצאו בהצלחה מהגלות של אדום ולא תהיו אבודים כשמונים אחוזים עם ישראל שנאבדו בארץ מצרים.

ואם לא אז אני מתפלל שהילדיכם יצליחו לצאת מהאוניברסיטות האמריקאיות בלי ג׳וקים בראש של שנאה עצמית ובלי בן או בת זוג נכרי.

I cannot imagine that any Jew in the U. S. who watches the news, does not know of the abhorrent testimony by three university presidents before the House of Representatives' Committee on Anti-Semitism on Campuses. The three unversities represented at this committee were Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania [Penn], and the Massachussetts Institute of Technology [MIT]. All three presidents failed miserably. Penn's president is no more. Harvard's president survived a no confidence vote of the university's board.

This whole affair begs the question: Could any normal Jewish parent possibly approve, and thus be willing to pay for, a child's education at any of these institutions?

Also in the Ivy League with Harvard and Penn are the notoriously leftist Brown and Columbia Universities. Could Yale and Princeton and Dartmouth Universities any better? A friend and alumnus of Cornell just told me he thought his alma mater was just as bad.

On the west coast we have the University of California, Berkeley [Cal] and my alma mater, the University of California, Los Angeles [UCLA], when even in the mid-1980s the phrase "Zionism = Racism" was posted on the door of the Black Students Association [BSA].

*Zionism doesn't exclude any particular race, just creeds.

Those American Jews Jewish Americans believing they have an obligation to obtain a university degree, what are you supposed to do now? Become crypto-Jews at these institutions, pretending that they drank the woke kool-aid? Actually dring the woke kool-aid?

As I have written previously, these Jewish parents are not willing to consider the option of letting their kids off the hook from working to obtain that almighty piece of paper, known as a university diploma. Read Doctor, Lawyer, Broker, Loser, 2010.

Not even the latest trend for high tech is not to have one. Only those with creativity need apply.

MBAs are also no longer a jewel on one's resume; experience is.

So what are Jewish American parents left to do? Send their kids to Israel? This would be their ultimate dilemma. Their children would receive a top level university education. But what if they meet someone? What if they want to stay? In Israel of all places?! Oy Gevald!

"Thank goodness my children don't speak Hebrew!"

No problem.

There are now many opportunities for students to study in English, not only for their Bachelor's degrees, but for graduate degrees as well. There are even English speaking medical schools: Tel Aviv, Be'er Sheva, and Tzfat.

There is English speaking MBA program at the prestigious Technion Institute. Even though we are seeing a trend MBA, think of the networking and job placement opportunities to be had! Of course, this would be another reason why Jewish American parents would oppose their children studying in Israel.

So what is the point of this post?

In the words of Rabbi Moshe Lichtman, in his book Eretz Yisrael in the Parsha, "Jews have forgotten that the exile is a punishment."

Jewish Americans are still so unable or unwilling to see the writing on the wall. It is just too easy to deny the increase in Anti-Semitism Jew-hatred in the U. S., and not just on university campuses. Time and time again, Jews insist on believing it will all just die down again, and that Jews like me are messianic-crazed, apocalyptic nuts.

Jewish American parents are certainly not interested seeing in Israel as the only true, homeland of the Jewish People, as opposed to the U. S. Not the even many of the Modern Orthodox "Zionists" are willing to participate in its manifestation. Rather they are willing to alow their children to spend a year in yeshiva, or even in the IDF, to get the Zionist guilt out of their, and their kids', systems.

"Israel is the homeland of the Jewish People, but let other Jews do all of the work for us."

Some even insist by saying, "Our work in the U. S. is important, too!"

Oh, when you stop fooling yourselves?! If you are not willing to help build up our homeland, if you insist on continuing to invest in the temporary refuge provided by non-Jewish countries, if you insist on complaining about the problems with the Israeli Government (I complain about it all the time!), but are unwilling to be part of the solution by trying to change it, then please at least consider saving your children, from the clutches of galuth (the exile).

But you won't.

All you see is the war, focused in Israel, refusing to see that only the focus is here. The war against the Jews is everywhere. Only our children are risking their lives for our homeland, and dropping like flies, due to the anti-Torah policies of the State.

We could really use your help.

And you could use ours, but you refuse to see it.

Good luck at Harvard, or UCLA, or wherever. Universities of assimilation. I pray that all of you will make it out of the galuth of Edom and that you will not become lost like 80 percent of Israel who were lost , and did not make it out of Egypt.

If not, then I pray that your children will at least be able to leave American universities unscathed, without Jewish self-hatred, and without a non-Jewish spouse.

As you have hopefully come to learn from reading this blog, this piece could not be found in the mainstream media, neither in Hebrew nor English. Thus, as you have also come to learn from reading this blog, how important I find it to publicize such reports.

Truly, the video and and short report speak for themselves.

It begs the question, though, if the powers that be would consider these young men to be part of the "together" in the catchphrase psy. opp. "Together We Will Be Victorious."

The answer should be obvious: "No."

I was very surprised to see that there were not even any government officials present to exploit photo opps. from the event. No one knew about it. No one had informed them. Perhaps later, at the lighting of the first candle this evening.

מי נכלל ב"יחד" של הביטוי הזה שבאופנה היום? בעלי אזרחות ישראלית הלא יהודים? הערבים? הדרוזים? הצ'רקסים? הנוצרים דוברי רוסית ואוקראינית שבמקרה יש להם סבא יהודי אחד?

ואת מי הממשלה "כוחות השלטון" מוציאים מהאלה שנכללים ב"יחד?"

החרדים והמתנחלים שמאמינים ש״חוקי התורה קודמין לחוקי האדם״?

החרדים שמאיימים אותם פעם אחר פעם באלימות פיזית, בהוצאת הילדים מבתים שאינם מוכנים לתת לילדים לעבור את שטיפת המוח הממלכתית, ובעונש מאסר בגין סירוב לשרת בצה"ל?

אם מסתכלים למי שנכלל ב"יחד" אז אי אפשר לומר ש"יחד ננצח" אומרת "יחד ננצח" במאבק להקים מדינה יהודית אמיתית. ואין צריך לומר ממלכה יהודית.

בעבר, האסטרטגיה של כוחות השלטון הייתה ״הפרד ומשול״ באצעות עידוד מחלוקות בין קהילות, החילונים, הדתיים הדתיים הלאומיים והחרדים.

ולכן אולי פירושו "יחד ננצח" בעצם...

"יחד" = מספר האנשים שעוברים שטיפת המוח בהצלחה יעלה.

"אנחנו" = כוחות השלטון "ינצחו" במאבק להשאר בשלטון.

זו פשוט גירסה חדשה של מבצע פסיכולגי ישן.

Does it mean "we will be victorious" against Hamas, once and for all?

Does it mean "we will be victorious" in redeeming all of our hostages?

Does it mean "we will be victorious" against all remaining existential threats to the State of Israel?

Who is included in the "together" part of this catchphrase? Non-Jewish, holders of Israeli citizenship? Arabs? Druze? Circassians? Russian and Ukrainian speaking Christians who happen to have a Jewish grandparent?

What about foreign workers? What about African insurgents, the deportation of whom the Israeli Supreme Court has somehow been able to block for over 10 years?

And what about the Evangelical Christians residing in Samaria, who believe that the Land of Israel is theirs anyways, and most Jews do not seem to be bothered by this, assuming they even know they are here? Are they also included in "together?"

Is the U. S. included in the together? An alliance with The West, Christians and progressives alike, that is the Jewish People's current exile of Edom (See Gen. 25:30; 36:1-43)?

No doubt the descendants of the Erev Rav (See Ex. 38:12) are included in the "together," the mixed-multitude, false converst who left Egypt with us, and who have been causing us trouble ever since. The Erev Rav is undoubtedly behind this quasi-unity movement, and its associated catchphrase.

And who does the government do "the powers that be" exclude from their understanding of "together?"

Those Haredim (ultra-orthodox) and settlers who hold Torah Law above State law?

The same Haredim who have been threatened time and time again with physical violence, removal of children from homes not conducive to State indoctrination, and prison time for refusing to serve in the Israeli Defense Forces [IDF]?

Those settlers who are attacked by Arab terrorists in Judea and Samaria, as I write this, and who under additional threat by their Ishmaelite neighbors' collection of weapons, under the noses of the Israeli government? ...or maybe not?

Considering who is included in the "together," it certainly does not mean "together we will be victorious" in creating a truly Jewish Kingdom, let alone a Jewish State.

In the past, the strategy of the powers that be has been to divide and conquer, creating rifts between secular, Religious Zionist, and Haredi Jews.

Perhaps "Together We Be Victorious" actually means:

"Together" = the indoctrinated masses will increase in number.

"We" = those in power "will be victorious" in staying in power.

מי הן שתיים מה"נשים" וה"ילדות" שישוחררו מהכלא בהפסקת האש האובדנית הזו? ה"ילדה" שגרה 3 בתים ממני שדקרה את השכנה שלי בשנה שעברה ונעשה בדם קר כשהשכנה הלכה ברחוב עם התינוקת בעגלה. רק בשבוע שעבר ה"ילדה" נידונה ל-12 שנות מאסר על פשעיה (עונש מגוחך). וה"ילד" ה״מתוק״ משם שהמתין במארב בפינה מחוץ לשכ׳ שמעון הצדיק וירה בשני מתפללים חרדים מטווח אפס ברכבם ואז השליך את האקדח בין השיחים וחזר לבית הספר כאילו לא קרה כלום. הדובדבן שבקצפת הוא שה״ילדה״ אמורה לחזור לגור ממש מול האישה שהיא ניסתה לרצוח ובעלה משרת כעת בשירות מילואים בעזה.

לממשלה נלעגית הזו יש כבר הדם של 1200 הקורבנות וכל החיילים שנפלו מאז על הידיים. עוד כמה דם תמים יישפך בגלל ההסכם המחפיר הזה? כמה ממבצעי הטבח הנוכחיים שוחררו בעסקת שליט? למה שאויבינו לא ימשיכו לחטוף יהודים ולנסות לרצוח אותם בידיעה ברורה שהם לעולם לא יצטרכו לשלם על הפשעים שלהם? לכל מי שיש לו יד בזה צריך לתת להם דין וחשבון!!! בושה למפלגות החרדיות ולציונות הדתית שתומכים בעלבון הזה! האם באמת דם החטופים שווה יותר מדם תושבי שכ׳ שמעון הצדיק ודם כל הקרבנות העתידיים שישפכו?

עשר אגורות (2¢):
מפריע לי ש כמעט אף אחד לא שואל "מהי ההלכה לגבי הסכם להשיג שיחרור בני הערובה?" פ׳אוצ'י רומז לכך בכתבה שלו. הרב דוד בר-חיים ראש מכון שילה, יונתן פולארד, הרב חנניה ויסמן ועוד כמה עולים את הנושא לדיון. כפי שאמר רבי בר-חיים בעבר, התורה נוגעת בכל ענייני חיי יהודים, ולא רק בשאלות לגבי שבת וכשרות.

העיקר לא שלא אכפת להרבה יהודים ממה שהתורה אומרת על עניין הזה. אלא יותר מדי יהודים לא יודעים שהם צריכים לשאול על דעת התורה. הם מאמינים שזה עניין פוליטי. יש לנו מדינה יהודית, ולכן כל החלטה שהיא מקבלת חייבת להיות החלטה יהודית, נכון?

בכלל לא נכון. מתסכל מאוד כמה פעמים המדינה מקבלת את ההיפך מהחלטה יהודית, ואז רוב היהודים פשוט מקבלים את זה בלי עוררין. כל שכן כל עסקה שיכולה להשיג את שיחרור האהובים בשבי צריכת להיות נכונה כי מרגישים שהיא נכון. אבל הרגשות אינם הבסיס לפסוק פסק הלכה. הרגשות הם הבסיס ל פעולות עולם המערב, גם הנוצרים וגם מה שנקרא הפרוגרסיבים.

מצד אחד, יש לנו מצוות עשה של פדיון שבוים. אני מתפלא שלא שמעתי הרבה אנשים מצטטים את זה ובמיוחד מכיוון שנושא זה משתלב בדעה הרווחת. כנראה מצטטים את זה בגלל אם כן אז צריכים להתעמק בפרטי המצווה הזו, ואז לא יאהבו את מה שמגלים. הרב בר חיים מתייחס לשאלה "באיזה מחיר?" ב-15:00.

מצד שני, יש המשל של המרן מרוטנברג שנחטף ואז הורה לתלמידיו לא לשלם שום כופר לחוטפיו, מחשש שאם כן אז ימשיכו לחטוף יהודים. עלו את המשל הזה בהתנגדות לעסקת גלעד שליט, שנזכרת על ידי יעקב פאוצ'י.

הננו בארץ ישראל אך עדיין תקועים בחשיבות רגשותינו בפסקי דיני תורה. ברור לעשות כך ללא שום יחס לרגשותינו יכול להיות קשה מאוד. הרבה יותר קל לדבר על זה מלבצע ככה. אף על פי כן, מאכזב מאוד שרק מעטים, אם בכלל, אפילו עולים את השאלה "מהי ההלכה לגבי בני הערובה?" מהן ההלכות לגבי המצב שלנו?

Who are two of the “women” and “minors” that will be released from jail in this suicidal ceasefire prisoner swap? The “girl” who lives 3 houses down from me that stabbed my neighbor last year in cold blood when she was pushing her baby carriage down the street and only last week was sentenced to 12 years in prison for her crime (itself a ludicrous sentence) and the sweet “boy” from Schem that waited in ambush on the corner outside of Shimon Hatzaddik and shot two Haredi worshippers at point blank range in their car then tossed the gun in the bushes and went back to school as if nothing happened. The icing on the cake is that the girl will be returning to live right across the street from the woman she tried to murder and whose husband is currently serving in reserve duty in Gaza.

This pathetic government already has the blood of the 1200 victims and all of the soldiers that have since fallen on their hands, how much more innocent blood will be shed because of this disgraceful agreement? How many of the current perpetrators of the massacre were released in the Shalit deal? Why should our enemies NOT continue to kidnap Jews and attempt to murder them knowing full well that they will never have to pay for their crimes? Everyone who has a hand in this needs to be held accountable!!! Shame on the Haredi parties and Religious Zionism for supporting this outrage! Is the blood of the hostages really redder than the blood of the residents of Shimon HaTzaddik and the blood of all the future victims that will be shed?

My concern is why isn't anyone asking "What is the halakhah (Torah Law) in this case?" Fauci alludes to it in his post. Rabbi David Bar-Hayim, Head of Machon Shilo, Yonatan Pollard, Rabbi Chananya Weissman, and a few others are even bothering to discuss it. As Rabbi Bar-Hayim as stated previously, the Torah touches all aspects of a Jew's life, not just questions of Shabbos and Kashrus (dietary laws).

It is not that not so many Jews care about what the Torah says on this matter. Rather, too many Jews do not know that they should ask. They believe it is a political issue. We have a Jewish State, and so whatever decision it makes must be a Jewish one, right?

Wrong. It is so frustrating how many times the State makes the opposite of a Jewish decision, and then to see most Jews just going along with it without question. Even more so, any deal to get are captive loved ones back must be right, because it feels right. But feelings are not the bases for halakhic decision making. Feelings are the bases for the way the Western world operates, whether we are talking about Christians or so-called progressives.

On one hand, we have the mitzvah (Torah commandment) of פדיון שבוים pidyon shuvim (redeeming the captive). I am surprised I haven't heard more people cite this, especially since it is in line with popular opinion. I suppose it is because they might be forced to delve into the details of this mitzvah, and then not like what they find. Rabbi Bar-Hayim addresses the specifics of "at what price?" at time marker 15:00.

On the other hand, we example we have the well-know case of the kidnapped Maran of Rothenberg who instructed his students NOT to pay any ransom to his captors, for fear that it would only happen again. This was one of the examples brought up in opposition to the Gilad Shalit deal, that Yaakov Fauci mentions.

Here we are in Eretz Yisrael (Land of Israel), yet still stuck in our Western feelings. Sure, making a Torah-based ruling, and having to set aside our feelings in order to do so is much easier said than done. Nevertheless, it is extremely disappointing than only a few, if any, will even bring up the question of "What does the Torah say?"

בשל רצף אמירותיה הפרו-פלשתיניות המקוממות בשבועות האחרונים - כאשר האחרונה שבהן הושמעה בנאום שנשאה בהפגנה שהתקיימה בניו יורק ב-17 בנובמבר - נזרקה הלילה (שלישי) סוזן סרנדון מסוכנות האמנים המובילה שמייצגת אותה. בתקשורת האמריקנית מדווחים כי הסוכנות, UTA, סיימה את התקשורת עם השחקנית האמריקנית בת ה-77, שמקפידה לנקוט בצד אנטי-ישראלי, ויש שיגידו אנטישמי מובהק, בכל הקשור למלחמה הנוכחית (אבל לא רק).

בהפגנה האחרונה ועל רקע הנסיקה בתקריות האנטישמיות והעוינות המורגשת כלפי יהודים בארה"ב, אמרה סרנדון כי "יש אנשים שמפחדים להיות יהודים כרגע. הם מקבלים טעימה איך זה להיות מוסלמי במדינה שלנו, ולהיות נתון תחת אלימות תכופה". באמירות קודמות, כזכור, ליהגה השחקנית ש"לא צריך להיות פלשתיני כדי להבין שטבח של כמעט 5,000 ילדים הוא פשע מלחמה שאינו מתקבל על הדעת", וש"כל כך הרבה אנשים לא מבינים את הקונטקסט שבו התרחשה המתקפה של 7 באוקטובר, ואינם מודעים להיסטוריה של העם הפלשתיני ב-75 השנים האחרונות".

כמו כן היא פרסמה ב-X (לשעבר טוויטר) פוסט אשר הציג נתונים מטעם משרד הבריאות הפלשתיני על מספר ההרוגים בעזה, על רקע גרפי "מדמם".

כעת, כאמור, משלמת סרנדון את המחיר על דבריה, לאחר ש-UTA, מסוכנויות האמנים החזקות ביותר בהוליווד שמייצגת גם אמנים כמו הריסון פורד, שרליז ת'רון, ליזו, קווין הארט, טימותי שאלאמה, ג'וני דפ ורבים אחרים, מוותרת על "הזכות" לעבוד איתה....

אני כתבתי הרבה פעמים שמה שקורה אצל הגוים לא עניין שלנו. אבל ברגע שראיתי את ה דוח על החלטת הסוכנות שלה להפרד ממנה אני לא יכולתי להתאפק. הרגשתי את הצורך להעיר על זה.

Academy Award-winning actress Susan Sarandon was dropped as a client of UTA, a major Hollywood agency, following her controversial comments that American Jews are getting a "taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim."

A UTA spokesperson confirmed to Fox News Digital Sarandon is no longer repped by them.

At a pro-Palestinian rally in New York City on Nov. 17, Sarandon called for protesters to listen and have conversations with Jewish Americans, as many have said they don't feel safe because of the rise in antisemitism since the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attack.

"There are a lot of people that are afraid, that are afraid of being Jewish at this time, and are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country, so often subjected to violence," Sarandon said.

Her comments received intense backlash, including from Muslim American writer and education activist Asra Nomani who wrote a lengthy thread on X about how her parents experienced a life of freedom and opportunity in the United States that they wouldn't have experienced living in a Muslim country.

"This is a ‘taste’ of life for a Muslim family in America. Please don’t minimize the experience of Jewish Americans by sanitizing the hell that it is for Muslims living in Muslim countries and vilifying America for the life — and freedoms — she offers Muslims like my family. Go, live like a Muslim woman in a Muslim country," she wrote.

"You will come back to America and kiss the land beneath your feet."

I have written many times that what happens to non-Jews outside of Israel is none of our concern. But as soon as I saw the report about Susan Sarandon's agency's decision to let her go, I couldn't help myself. I felt compelled to comment on this.

As soon as native Israelis learn that I was born and raised in Southern California, they love to ask me questions about the world of Hollywood. It happens to me all the time. It doesn't bother me and it's even fun to hear their reactions.

I have some interesting stories about my normal time in Los Angeles, the parties, anchoring the night, and the celebrities I have met. I am careful about name-dropping, of course, because name-dropping is what? Tacky.

The main point I make in all my stories is that there is little to no Jewish spirituality to be found there, with all due respect to the rabbis working hard to remedy this. I heard on behalf of Rabbi Dov Begun, Rosh Yeshiva of Machon Meir in Jerusalem that the word California is like the word qelipoth (spiritual impurity). Food for thought.

I am happy to inform you that I have met several of our brethren in Israel who succeeded in leaving that nasty world, including an Oscar winner.

Don't feel sorry for Susan Sarandon. She'll be fine...financially and probably professionally too. If she wants to stay buried deep in her world of lies, then let her. It's not our problem.

Those Jews involved in the world of entertainment representation may also receive backlash for any of their decisions, just perhaps from the opposite direction. They, too, will have to decide whether to stand up as a Jew, and be counted, like Gal Gadot, Julianne Margulise, and Natalie Portman. (I expect to have more to say about Portman in a forthcoming post), go all out for the full-on, self-hating, industrial strength PC, pro-Pally[wood] wielding power, or remain silent, dodging politicized decisions like bullets. 

My preference would be for them all to pick up and get on the plane already. Of course, I should add the following warning:

Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered themselves together unto Jerusalem within the three days; it was the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month; and all the people sat in the broad place before the House of God, trembling because of this matter, and for the great rain. And Ezra the priest stood up, and said to them: 'You have broken faith, and have married foreign women, to increase the guilt of Israel. Now therefore make confession to the LORD, the God of your fathers, and do His pleasure; and separate yourselves from the peoples of the land, and from the foreign women. Those who get it, will get it. Those who don't, won't.

And don't use the ridiculous laws of the secular State of Israel as an excuse to bring them along. Ezra followed the Torah, not the secular laws made by those who want to justify their desires on paper.

It is time to return to an authentically Jewish way of life. Who knows? Maybe your wives and husbands will be into it, and choose to convert properly, truly meaning it.

במסגרת הפוגה בלחימה במהלך ארבעת הימים, חמאס הסכים לשחרר 50 נשים וילדים, בתמורה לשחרור ישראל של 150 אסירים ערביים -- מה שנקרא פלסטינים. בני הערובה שישוחררו צפויים לכלול בת שלוש ובעלת אזרחות ארה"ב אביגיל עידן, יחד עם לפחות עוד שני בעלי אזרחות ארה"ב.

כמובן, אני מאמין שעלינו להניח שממשלת ארה"ב פשוט מנצלת את היהודים האלה בעלי אזרחות ארה״ב בדיוק כמו שניצלה את עזרא שוורץ (2015), נפתלי פרנקל (2014) ומייקל לוין (2006), קובי מנדל (2001). ה׳ יקום דמם!

כעת, לאחר שארה"ב אישרה לאזרחים ישראלים לבקר בארה"ב ללא ויזה, אין שום צורך לשאול את שאלה זו. כמובן, אלו מאיתנו בעלי אזרחות ישראלית בלבד עדיין לא יכולים לעבוד בארה"ב ללא ויזת עבודה, אלא אם כן היא מתחת לשולחן.

וגם ממשלת ארה"ב יכולה לבטל את המדיניות הזו מתישהו בעתיד.

"העמלה" עבור ויתור על אזרחות אמריקאית הופחתה לאחרונה חזרה ל-450 דולר, מהעלייה ל-2,350 דולר בשנת 2012. אולי עולה תמריוץ נוסף לוותר אזרחות ארה״ב. אבל לא נראה לי.

הרבה מהאמריקאים בארץ מודאגים גם על קבלת אזרחות ארה״ב עבור ילדיהם שנולדים בארץ. אישית אני מאמין שלאבד את הזכות הזו היא לטובתם.

אני דווקא כתבתי ״בעל אזרחות ארה״ב״ ולא ״אזרחי ארה״ב.״ קודם הכל הם יהודים, ולא אמריקאים גם על פי הלכה וגם על פי כל ראש יהודי נורמלי המחכה לגאולה.

ולכן, איך אתה מגדירים את עצמכם? האם אתם אמריקאים יהודיים או יהודים מאמריקה?

האם אתם יהודים ממוצא אמריקאי או אמריקאים יהודיים?

מומלץ להחליט כבר.

As part the four day lull in fighting, Hamas agreed to release 50 women and children, in exchange for Israel's release of 150 Palestinian Pseudostinian prisoners. The hostages to be released are expected to include three-year-old, U. S. citizen Abigail Edan, along with at least two other U. S. citizens.

Of course, I believe that we should assume that the U. S. is simply exploiting these Jews with U. S. citizenship just like they exploited Ezra Schwartz (2015), Naftali Frenkel (2014) and Michael Levin hy"d (2006).

I do not think that will happen anytime soon. When I announced my intention to renounce my U. S. citizenship, in an opinion piece on this issue, Batya Medad asked, "Is foreign citizenship a matter of national loyalty or is it just the convenience of not needing to deal with visas when traveling to various other countries?"

Now that the U. S. has granted Israeli citizens to ability to visit the U. S. without a visa, this is a moot question. Of course, those of us possessing only Israeli citizenship still could not work in the U. S. without a visa, unless it was under the table.

The U. S. government could also always rescind this policy in the future.

The "fee" for renunciation of U. S. citizenship was recently reduced back to $450, from its 2012 hike to $2,350. Perhaps this will be an added incentive to renounce. But I sincerely doubt it.

Some Americans would also be concerned with losing their ability to obtain U. S. citizenship for their children born in Israel. Personally, I believe that losing that ability would be a good thing.

So, how do you self-identify?

Are you Jewish Americans or Jews from America?

Does it make any difference to you whether any of those captive Jews are Americans? It does not matter according to halakhah. So, I certainly hope you do not think so either.

I highly recommended that you make up your minds already.

אין לישראל הזכות להגנה עצמית / Israel Does Not Have the Right to Defend Itself

1:30 - 3:00: אלוף ג'ק קין (בדימוס), לשעבר סגן הרמטכ"ל, צבא ארה"ב: הכוונה של חמאס היתה לקבל תגובה אלימה בחזרה מהישראלים, ולקבל גינוי נרחב בינלאומי. חמאס יודע לנצל זאת ב-16 השנים האחרונות. (ראו את המעגל המר של טרור) אבל חמאס לא ציפה את החליטה של ישראל שזהו זה. האריס פוקנר מציגה אז את מה קרה פעם במוסול שבעיראק על ידי כוחות ארה״ב כדוגמה לצביעות.

After that, the comparisons made between Israel and the U. S. are nothing more than Esau's (The West: Christians and progressives) attempts to join with Jacob (Israel; Gen. 33:4). Christians call it "grafting onto Israel," interestingly enough, much like one of the Torah prohibitions within the category of כלאים kilaim.

פרנצ'סקה אלבניז הגיעה, המדווחת לאו״ם למען השטחים הפליסטינים ביום שלישי במהלך נאומה בפני מועדון העיתונות הלאומי של אוסטרליה, כאשר היא ראתה שזכותה של ישראל להגנה עצמית "לא קיימת" על פי החוק הבינלאומי, כאשר האשימה את ישראל שסועת המלחמה על "ההפצצה הבלתי פוסקת של עזה" ופעולות אחרות. לטענת אלבניז, ישראל אינה יכולה לטעון לזכות להגנה עצמית מכיוון שאינה מאוימת ממדינה אחרת. חמאס טוען שלא משתמשים במנהרות? למרות כל הראיות האינספור שסופקו כבר?

האם ארגון הבריאות העולמי [WHO] יכול להבטיח שדלק, מזון וציוד רפואי יגיעו לידי האזרחים ולא לידי חמאס? לא. האם חברי ארגון הבריאות העולמי מי כל כך טיפשים? או פשוט שונאי ישראל ורוצים לעזור לחמאס?

לעתים קרובות יהודים דואגים להיות "לְאוֹר גּוֹיִם" (ישעיהו מב,ד). הפסוק הזה אחד הפסוקים הכי לא מבונים ולא המיושמים בצורה נכונהה מהתנ"ך.

המשמעות האמיתית של הפסוק הזה היא לא לרוץ לכנסיות כדי להראות לנוצרים (האח הגדול שלנו עשיו) כמה אנו אוהבים אותם ומאריכים אותם בחזרה. המשמעות האמיתית של הפסוק הזה היא לא לזכות פרסי נובל יותר מכולם. אלא המשמעות האמיתית היא להיות דוגמה לגוים. איך יהודי אמור להיות דוגמה? לשמור את הכללים שלנו. מהם הכללים שלנו? שמירת תורה ומצוות. כל המצוות ולא רק המצוות שעליהן אנו מרגישים שמחים.

REUTERS: WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION (WHO) says Israeli raid on Gaza hospital is totally unacceptable

GENEVA, Nov 15 (Reuters) - The World Health Organization head said on Wednesday that the Israeli military incursion into Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza was "totally unacceptable".

Israeli troops entered Shifa, Gaza's biggest hospital, on Wednesday as part of their assault on the Palestinian territory.

Israel says Hamas fighters have a headquarters in tunnels beneath it. Hamas denies this is the case.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told a press conference in Geneva that patients and staff must be protected even if hospitals were used for military purposes.

"Hospitals are not battlegrounds," he said. "Israel's military incursion into Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza City is totally unacceptable."

The WHO, a U.N. agency, also said it was "urgently exploring" the possibility for evacuating patients and medical staff from the facility.

"To make sure this can be enabled, of course there is a need for safe passage and also for fuel for the ambulances," said Rik Peeperkorn, WHO representative in the occupied Palestinian territories....

...The WHO's chief legal expert, Steve Solomon, said health facilities were always under the protection of international law.

"Under international humanitarian law, hospitals...must be safeguarded against all acts of war," he said.

The U.N. special rapporteur to the occupied Palestinian territory claimed this week that Israel does not have a right to self-defense against Hamas under international law and accused the country of committing "war crimes."

Hamas denies using tunnels? That's even a consideration after the countless pieces of evidence provided?

The WHO is able to guarantee that fuel, food stuffs, and medical supplies will not end up in the hands of Hamas? No, it cannot. Are WHO associates really that stupid? Or that obviously Jew-hating?

Please do not confuse this post for hasbarah (PR to non-Jews). This post is for Jews, to help them understand just exactly how much we are despised, and not only can nothing be done about this, nothing should be done about it.

"It is a known halakhah that Esau hates Jacob (Sifrei, Num. 69:2) We need to focus on our job, and not concerning ourselves so much with what the nations think and feel about us.

Jews are often worry about being "for a light unto the nations" (Isa. 42:6), one of the most overly used and incorrectly applied verses from Tana"kh (Bible).

The actually meaning of this verse is not running around to be a speaker in churches in order to reciprocate pay back Esau's "love," with ulterior motives, nor win a disproportionate number of Nobel Prizes. Rather it means to set an example. What does it mean for the Jewish People to set an example? It means for us to follow our own rules. What are our own rules? Keeping Torah and mitzvoth, in other words, doing our job.

Jews around the world have had the right idea, praying more, learning more, trying harder to keep Shabbat (Sabbatical) and Kashrut (dietary) laws, and men putting on tefillin (phylacteries).

Let us hope pray that this is continues, and is not simply a temporary trend.
