היה זה בשנת תרצ"ג. הגאון הרב שמעיה אליעזר דיכובסקי (בנו הוא הדיין הגאון רבי שלמה דיכובסקי שליט"א) ביקש לעלות לארץ ישראל. באותה שנה הרימה האנטישמיות ראש באירופה כשהצורר הנאצי עלה לשלטון. המוני יהודים חשו כי הקרקע שתחת רגליהם אינה בטוחה. הרב שמעיה דיכובסקי ביקש לשמוע מפי מרן ה"חפץ חיים" (רבי ישראל מאיר הכהן), האם כדאית היא העליה לארץ ישראל.

וכך הוא מספר בספרו "נאות דשא":

"בטרם הספקתי להביע בפניו את החששות שבלבי, ובייחוד את החשש הגדול מפאת המצב הבטחוני השורר בארץ ישראל בגלל בני ישמעאל המתנכלים ליהודים, כי רק כמה שנים חלפו מאז טבח חברון (בתרפ"ט), אבל הוא הקדימני ולא הייתי נצרך להעלות שאלה זו כלל. וכך הוא אמר:

התורה הקדושה אומרת על ישמעאל: 'והוא יהיה פרא אדם' (בראשית ט"ז, י"ב). הלא ידוע כי התורה שלנו היא נצחית, ואם היא אומרת זאת על ישמעאל, משמעות הדברים היא, שישמעאל ישאר לנצח פרא אדם. גם אם יתאספו כל עמי התרבות שבעולם וירצו לחנך את ישמעאל ולעשותו בן תרבות, לא יעלה הדבר בידם. התורה העידה עליו שיהיה פרא אדם, ו"יהיה" פירושו גם לעתיד, לנצח.

ה"חפץ חיים" נאנח ואמר: מי יודע מה פרא אדם זה עלול עוד לעשות לעם ישראל באחרית הימים!....

הרב שמעיה דיכובסקי כן עלה לארץ ישראל למרות המצב הבטחוני שהיה בזמנו. הבן שלו הוא הדיין הגאון רבי שלמה דיכובסקי שליט"א והוא נולד בירושלים.

אז נו? איפה כל היהודים האמריקאים?

נכון שכ-300,000 חזרו ארצה כבר מתחילת המלחה הזו. אני מתפלל שהפעם פחות מ-80 אחוזים ייאבדו בחושך כמו שנאבדו במצרים ושיותר מ-20 אחוזים יצליחו לצאת מהגלות הנוכחית שלנו של אדום (עולם המערב).

Rabbi Shemaya Dichovsky asked to hear from Maran the Chofetz Chaim, whether it would be worthwhile to immigrate to Eretz Yisrael. The Chofetz Chaim sighed and said: Who knows what this savage man might still do to the people of Israel in the end of days!

It was in the year 1833. The Gaon Rabbi Shemaya Eliezer Dichovsky (his son is the Dayan Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Dichovsky shlit"a) asked to immigrate to Eretz Yisrael. That year, anti-Semitism reared its head in Europe when the Nazi oppressor came to power. Masses of Jews felt that the ground under their feet was not safe. Rabbi Shimaya Dichovski asked to hear from Maran the Chofetz Chaim (Rabbi Israel Meir HaCohen), whether he should immigrate to Eretz Yisrael.

And so he tells in his book Naot Desha:

"Before I had time to express to him the concerns in my heart, and especially the great concern due to the security situation prevailing in the Land of Israel because of the Ishmaelites harassing the Jews, because only a few years had passed since the Hebron massacre (in 1929), but I would not have had to raise this question at all. And so he said:

About Ishmael the Holy Torah says: 'And he will be a wild ass of a man' (Gen. 16:12). Is it not the case that our Torah is eternal, and so if it says this about Ishmael, the meaning of this is that Ishmael will forever remain a wild ass man. Even if all the civilized peoples of the world gathered and wanted to educate Ishmael and make him a civilized person, it would not be up to them. The Torah testifies that he would be a wild man, and the meaning of "will be" indicates the future, forever.

The Chofetz Chaim sighed and said: Who knows what this savage man still might do to the people of Israel at the end of days!....

You will be happy to know that Rabbi Shemaya Dichovsky did immigrate to Israel despite the security situation at the time. His son, Rabbi Shlomo Dichovsky, mentioned above, was born in Tel Aviv.

So? Where are all the American Jews? Why aren't they coming to invest their blood, sweat, tears, and money in our only true, homeland?

Although it is true that approximately 300,000 Jews have returned to Israel since the beginning of this war, I worry about Jews being lost along the way. Only 20 percent made it out of our first exile, our exile in Egypt. Eighty percent of Israel was lost in Egypt during the plague of darkness, will be lost this time.

As I pray that our impending Redemption from the clutches of our fourth exile, the exile controlled by Edom (The West), will be our final exile, I also pray that more of us survive, and succeed in leaving this this time, than the only 20 percent of us who made it out of Egypt.

Every time you say Gush Qatif, gush (goosh), meaning "block," as in a geographical area, and qatif (qah-TEEF), meaning "picking" certain fruits and flowers, you are not talking about returning to the 17 towns in Southern Gaza from which Jews were expelled in 2005.

Rather you are excluding Kfar HaDarom and Netzarim in the center of Gaza, Nissanit, Dugit, and Alei Sinai in the far north of Gaza, and the four towns in Samaria, Homesh, Ganim, Sa-Nur, and Kadim, from which Jews were also expelled.

Here is a not so fun, but important fact: Alei Sinai including Jews who had previously been expelled from Yamit on the Mediterranean coast of the Sinai, thus "Alei Sinai," the leaves of the Sinai, as a result of the Camp David Accords, giving up the Sinai to Egypt.

Returning home to Gush Qatif.

Here is another not so fun, but important fact: Nissanit, Dugit, Alei Sinai were not originally on the proposed list of Jewish towns to dismantle destroy. Rabbi MK Benny Elon z"l helped to expose the plan to build a casino in Gaza, thus the need for these towns to be Judenfrei (German: cleansed of Jews).

Do you believe it is alright to say Gush Qatif now, because the focus is on Gaza? Wake up! Look closely at the maps of "Palestine" embedded within the emblems of the Arab terrorist organizations above. Then listen to the President of the Pseudostinian Authority himself.

Please start paying attention to the news about the clashes between Jews and Arabs in Judea and Samaria (West Bank), about armored vehicles being given to Arabs in Shchem (Nablus). This is already a four-front war: Gaza, Lebanon, Judea and Samaria, and Houthis from Yemen.

So, now, will you please stop saying Gush Qatif? Instead, start saying Kol Eretz Yisrael Kulah - All of the Land of Israel.

We need a war fighter, a Jewish war fighter at the helm of our government. We need to get rid of a whole host of generals, who were largely responsible.

The actual reasons why this happened will come out eventually. Why the Gaza Division, whose headquarters were overrun, stood down. Why it was that it took six hours for any reaction to occur.

Army and airforce bases were within earshot of what was going on. I have friends who were helicopter pilots, who were attack pilots who were sitting in their cockpits, ready to take off, fully loaded, ready to stop them at the fense. They didn't get their orders for six hours.

They could hear it. They could hear the fighting. They were called by friends in the border kibbutzim and moshavim (towns) that were being overrun and slaughtered, saying help us. Please! They're killing our children.

They weren't given permission to take off. That will haunt my friends for the rest of his life. He feels personally responsible for many deaths because of that. Wrongly.

Throughout the last 27 days, a few of us have been asking, "How could this have happened? Cyber hack? Inside job? Or just one major, industrial strength screw up?"

"Who is responsible? Is he (are they?) still in charge? Why?"

But the responses are always the same.

"Now is not the time."

"We can't think about this now..."

"My kids, my husband, my grandchildren are there..."

"First we win the war."

Then their voices trail off.

My pessimism sets in. "No we won't," I say to myself.

"We can't win a war with the same people who failed us in the first place. We cannot win any war with the same old people in charge, worried more about what the so-called international community things, than their own constituents."

Eventually, a commission will be set up, from whom we will hear the results of their investigation, two years from now. In the meantime, we will end up repeating the mistakes over again, expecting different results, ie. insanity prevails.

These words of Jonathan Pollard make up only one of the many testimonies we have already heard. Legislation was even proposed my the Ministry of Communications to suppress such testimony, for the sake of what? Morale! I would sure like to see the government try to jail Jonathan Pollard!

And as Jonathan Pollard suggests, how do we expect to win any war, assuming we will actually try to win, in the face of opposition from the international community, and micro-managing from the U. S.?

We cannot forget that the U. S., like every other nation on earth, wants control of Israel. Most will agree that on the surface they want want control of a major supply of fossil fuel. Is anyone really fooled by its pathetic attempt to feign a desire for peace?

After we get the answers to "how?" and "by whom?" we will need to obtain the answer to the question as to "why" this war started they way it did.

I guarantee that none of us will like the answer, no matter what it turns out to be.

And when we recover from the shock, we will have to decide what to do about it.

I commend Ambassador Gilad Erdan for his statements. And in spite of the opposition expressed by Foreign Ministry officials and Yad vaShem, I also commend him for his actions. However, I would like to point out one small fact about the Yellow Star of David.

Parallel to the prohibitions on calling people "Nazi," the new law prohibits the wearing of striped clothing similar to the clothing worn by concentration camp prisoners, and a yellow patch in the shape of a Star of David, and the drawing of swastikas or symbols associated with Nazism. (Translated from the Haaretz quote above, June 12, 2014)

During protests against then Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's impending Expulsion of Jews from Gaza, Women In Green founder Nadia Matar was arrested for calling one of the expulsion administrators Yonatan Bassi a kapo.

A kapo was a prisoner in a Nazi camp who was assigned by the SS guards to supervise forced labor or carry out administrative tasks. (Wikipedia). In other words, a Jewish collaborator against fellow Jews.

Charges against Matar were eventually dismissed, the judge calling them ridiculous.

Years later, it is not clear if kapo or Judenrat (German: Jewish council) is included in the list of prohibited names of this law. Nevertheless, it does appear that there is greater freedom of speech in the UN than there is in Israel.

No one. I repeat, no one should be surprised.

ועדת החקירה הבינלאומית העצמאית של האו"ם טענה כי זיהתה את המפקד והיחידה הצבאית בצה"ל שלדעתה אחראים ככל הנראה להרג של העיתונאית הפלסטינית-אמריקנית שירין אבו עאקלה בשנה שעברה. כך דווח ברשת CNN האמריקנית. הוועדה לא חשפה את שם החייל, אך ציינה כי מדובר ביחידת דובדבן. אבו עאקלה נהרגה במהלך חילופי אש שניהלו כוחות צה"ל עם חמושים פלסטינים במחנה הפליטים ג'נין במאי 2022. יו"ר הוועדה נאווי פילאי אמרה כי החקירה הגיעה למסקנה "שכוחות הביטחון הישראליים השתמשו בכוח קטלני ללא הצדקה במסגרת חוק זכויות האדם הבינלאומי, ובכוונה או בפזיזות הפרו את זכותה של אבו עאקלה לחיים". באמת? sווקא עכשיו ועדה של האו״ם מוציא לאור את תוצאות החקירה שלה?

איזה נוח להם!

והכוונה שלה ברורה מאוד.

מה הם חושבים שהרגו אותה בכוונה? למה? בכדי למנוע מלאפשר לה לפרסם את החדשות? חדשות שקר?

ישראל ובמיחוד צה״ל רגילים ללשון הרע עליהם על ידי הישמעאלים (הערבים / עולם האיסלם) וגם על ידי בני עשיו (עולם המערב). אז איזה מטרה אפשר להשיג באמצעות הריגתה?

היא היתה עיתונאית. היא ידעה את הסכנהשל העבודה שלה. היא פשוט היתה במקום הלא נכון בשעה הלא נכונה.

UN says identified IDF unit commander responsible for journalist killing last year, report
The UN commission of inquiry into the killing of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh last year, said it identified the commander of the IDF unit, they claim was responsible for the fatal shooting. According to a CNN report, the chairman of the commission said Israeli forces used unnecessary and imprudent lethal force in contradiction to international human rights laws. (Ynet, Oct. 26)

Really? Why is a UN committee publishing the results of its investigation now?

How convenient!

And the commission's intention is very clear. To add to the demonization of Israel and its Defense Forces [IDF].

What do they think? That they killed her on purpose? Why? To prevent her from publishing the "news?" Pseudostinian lies?

Israel and especially the IDF are already used to being slandered by the Ishmaelites (the Arab and Islamic world) and also by the descendants of Esau (Edom / the Western world). So what would killing her achieve?

She was a journalist. She knew the risks of her job. She was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Or maybe the Arabs killed her. In any event, they now have another martyr to exploit.

On October 19, Jews were reported to be blocking roads, so as not to allow armored vehicles to be gifted to Arabs in Shchem. At that time, it was not clear whether it was the U. S. or Israel providing these.

Could they be Biden's reaction to "settler violence?"

Fortunately, UN Secretary General António Guterres just did that for me.

Still praised by Jews every November 29, commemorating the UN's 1947 vote to partition Israel, and to graciously grant the Jews a piece of their own homeland. That piece did not even include the eternal capital of the Jewish People, Jerusalem.

Oh sure, Prime Minister Netanyahu cites the Torah once in a while, when convenient, and when it fits into his agenda.

But when will a Jewish leader, with any power, finally stand up and proudly use the word "conquer?"

Incidentally, the Hebrew word for "conquer" is the same as the Hebrew word for "occupation."

What about the word "possess?" What about "inherit?" Are these words off limits as well?

Some say that this is. What is this? Evil? Stupidity? Or are we so hard up for food, we need to invite more enemies into help with the harvest?

Well, at least the Yitzchak Rabin memorial has been cancelled this year (TOI).

In the meantime, we are waiting for more positive outcomes of the war, however painful and heartbreaking it has been so far, and, unfortunately, will continue to be, as long as the Israeli Government continues to avoid what needs to be done once and for all.:

For the African refugees infiltrators to runaway, such as those from Sudan and Eritrea.

For all those non-Jews to run away, who were allowed to immigrate to Israel under the Law of Return, such as those from the former Soviet Union. I will never forget one I met in 1997 who said that he was not Jewish, came to Israel for his FREE Master's degree, then intends to move to Canada.

For all those refugees to run away, the non-Jewish ones, which I imagine are the majority, who recently arrived from the Ukraine.

For the descendants of the Erev Rav to run away. This refers to the descendants of the "mixed-multitude" (Ex. 12:38), those false converts who left Egypt with us. Sure I would prefer that they would do teshuvah (repentance), and prove me wrong, but...

Israeli Members of Knesset [MK] are required to renounce any citizenship they posses besides Israeli, before taking their seats. Perhaps Erev Rav MKs will succeed in their search for countries willing to grant them asylum.

Incidentally, Israeli Supreme Court President Esther Hayut also just happened to have stepped down. I wonder why, and why now.

אני אפילו לא מעריץ של טראמפ. נראה לי שמעריצים הנערים המגוחכים שלו עדיין בהכחשה עמוקה לגבי ההשלכות האמיתיות של תוכניתו על האזור, והן כוללות מסירת חלקי ארץ מולדתנו לערבים והקמת עוד מדינת טרור ערבית.

כבר חתנו של טראמפ יואל חיים ״ג׳רד״ קושנר הזמין כל ערבי שרוצה לעלות להר הבית להתפלל במסגד שם לבוא ולעלות. (צפו את הסרטון) ובינתיים עדיין אסור ליהודים להתפלל בהר הבית, במקום הכי קדוש שלנו.

אין לי שום חשק או כוח עכשיו להתייחס לנזק שעלול להיגרם לנו מהסכמי אברהם.

Many rushed to criticize President Trump for what he said about Hezbollah and the State of Israel.

Do any of you even know what he said?

Many have still not bothered to listen to his words in full context, but rather only to short pieces sailing around the Internet. Trump said that Hezbollah is smart (00:17),... only after he criticized every security official (00:47) who said he hoped Hezbollah wouldn't attack Israel from the north since the north is Israel's weak point.

(1:14) He also said that Israel was not ready.

People are now claiming Trump said all this because he is still angry with Netanyahu, who rushed to congratulate Joe Biden on his presidential election victory.

What does it matter? If the Israeli government passes the regulations proposed by Communications Minister Shlomo Kar'i, then can I be arrested for agreeing with Trump?

I am not even a fan of Trump. His ridiculous fan boys and girls still seem to be in deep denial about the true implications of his plan for the region, giving up land and new Psuedostinian terrorist state included.

Trump's son-in-law Yoel Chaim "Jared" Kushner has already taken the opportunity to invite any Arab who wants to ascend the Temple Mount and pray at one of the mosques. (See the video) Meanwhile, Jews are still not allowed to pray on our holiest site. Do not even get me started on the long-term damage we may incur from the Abraham Accords.
