PM Netanyahu Made A Speech & Received Standing Ovations From Congress: Big Deal!

26 of the Second Month 5771

Now that you have had a chance to recover from you fawning and swooning (or in my case, vomiting) over Prime Minister Netanyahu's speech to the U. S. Congress, maybe you will be able to listen to reason, and understand the error of your ways.

I did not listen to the speech, nor did I have to.

Now, wait a minute! Continue reading, and you will understand why....

1. In PM Netanyahu's speech, he agreed to the establishment of a new, Arab [terrorist] state for a fake, "Palestinian" people.

2. The Land in question is promised to Am Yisra'el by HaQadosh Barukh Hu (The Holy One, Blessed Be He), NOT Am Yishma'el (Arabs), AND was returned into our hands in תשכ"ז/1967. It is not for any human being, Jew or non-Jew, to give it away to anyone else. When, in the course of history, a foreign power has come to take possession of Jewish Homeland, to oppress us physically and spiritually, or to remove us, it has been at the decree of HaQadosh Barukh Hu , having used the goyshe king or emperor as a keli (tool) of His will.

In תשכ"ז/1967, a certain general by the name of Moshe Dayan handed the Temple Mount over to the Muslim Wakf, something which he had absolutely no right to do.

I have speculated that...
1. PM Netanyahu has, and will continue to, tell the so-called right-wing that הכל יהיה בסדר Everything will be alright. He made conditions on the Arabs, which we all know that they will never keep. Thus, Land will never actually be given up, and the Arabs will remain in limbo,..for now.

This has been tried countless times previously, with Israel never failing to cave into the demands of the Arabs (...and UN, and EU, and U. S.).

Sharon fooled many into believing that this was his strategy, when discussing the. Obviously, it was not. Then after the fact, Jews realized that unilateral, in fact meant, UNI-lateral (eyes rolling) .

2. The other "brilliant" strategy (eyes rolling again) which has been mentioned over the years within the various, so-called right-wing communities, has been that once the Arabs have their state, any terrorist act will be counted as an act of war, and give Israel more justification to fight back.

Furthermore, the other Arab countries will have to struggle to find something else to moan and groan about, and that their human rights violations will no longer be able to fly under the radar of mainstream media.

Baraq's strategy was to hand over 93% of Yehudah, Shomron, & Azza (Judea, Samaria, & Gaza), and be done with it. Fortunately, had saved us through the murderer and Nobel Peace Laureate (What does that tell you about the Nobel "Piece" Prize Committee?), known as Arafat יש"ו, who would hear nothing of the sort. Even then PM Ehud Baraq, was unwilling to put the division of Jerusalem on the table.

When will we ever learn to stop playing games, of speeches, wheeling & dealing, and political intrigues?

PM Netanyahu, next you plan to give a speech, and you do not plan to state clearly and directly that Yehudah & Shomron, and the City of Jerusalem have been miraculously returned to Am Yisra'el, and that these portions of our Homeland are not for him nor any other human being to give away, for money, for so-called peace deals (ie. "piece" deals), or for anything else, then don't even bother giving that speech.

Just like this speech of yours to the U. S. Congress, in which received a bazillion standing ovations, it would not be a big deal.

Tell the truth about the Homeland of Am Yisra'el, and that would be a big deal.

The Difference Between Good & Evil: MK Katz vs. Peres

22 of the Second Month 5771

Time to take a break from fawning and swooning, (or, in my case, vomiting) over Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, and be reminded of two reports which you have, no doubt, already forgotten.

First, one about good...
MK Katz: Honorable Prime Minister, State Our Rights To This Land

(IsraelNN.com) ...At this point in time, between your speech to the members of AIPAC last night and your address to the two Houses of Congress today, I wish to bring to your attention the fact that there was a glaring omission in your to speech to AIPAC in that there was no mention of our Biblical and historical rights to our land.

In the two thousand years of exile from our land, we became accustomed to a defensive approach, stressing our security needs, when addressing the tyrants who oppressed us.

But from the time we left the ghetto behind, returned to Zion and established ourselves as a free people in its own state, with the help of God, it is incumbent upon us to statth pride the real reason we are in the land of Israel, that which justifies our demand that the nations of the world recognize our rights to that land.

e wiThese basic claims are a chain linking all of Jewish history and are found in the Zionist movement’s writings, where your family served as a cornerstone. You expressed words in this spirit in your writings, your father Professor Ben-Zion Netanyahu, may he be granted long life, lectured and educated towards that goal; your brother Yoni, may his blood be avenged, Israel’s hero, dreamed and fought for this idea. Clearly stated words to this effect were part and parcel of the speeches and lectures of your late grandfather Rabbi Millikovsky-Netanyahu in his appearances all over the United States 90 years ago.

In response to claims based purely on security, the President of the United States offers opposing security claims. In response to claims that we have a right to this land there are no acceptable claims....

MK Ya'akov Katz basically asked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to tell the U. S. Congress the truth, what he neglected to mention to the American Israel Public Action Committee [AIPAC]: The Holy One Blessed Be He gave the Land of Israel to the People Israel. It is for us, yet not for us to give it away. This is Am Yisra'el's only, valid claim to the Land, as is recorded in our Holy Torah.

Unfortunately, PM Netanyahu is more concerned with convincing the goyim that we are entitled to what HaShem has given, and after all, we are going to give some of it up anyway (God forbid!)., to a made up people with a made up history who have no claims to our Land whatsoever. The point is that even Netanyahu does not care that this Land is not ours to give away.

And, now, one from the dark side...
Peres: Israel Will Submit To US For Good Relationship

(IsraelNN.com) President Shimon Peres said Tuesday that despite the appearance of tensions between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and United States President Barack Obama, relations between the two countries are excellent and that there is good dialogue between America and Israel on security issues, Army Radio reported.

Peres said that Netanyahu's upcoming speech in front of the U.S. Congress will be the "speech of his life" and will bring great international attention. The president said that Netanyahu's speech will outline a planned retreat from Judea and Samaria regions in order to allow for a new Arab state in Israel's heartland run by the Western-backed Palestinian Authority.

Peres made the comments from a visit at a military drill in a southern military base.
Shimon Peres appears to act as if EVERYONE who is progressive and enlightened (member of a borderless, global community) KNOWS that such a plan of action is the ONLY possible way to proceed, in regard to our relationship with the Arabs.

Peres appears to be completely devoid of any connection to the Holy Land, except for convenience it brings him to be in the center of the Torah world, to be able to fight against it. In fact, he appears to be quite pleased with himself, that he has succeeded this far in the steps toward the creation of yet another sovereign state for our terrorist enemies, who want to wipe us off of the face of the earth, or just push us into the Mediterranean Sea. Whatever!

Peres is one of the only architects of the Oslo ("Death To Jews") Accords who has remained in Israel. All of the others took flight, after succeeding in doing the damage they had set out to do. How many Jews have been killed as a result? I've lost count.

This does not demonstrate a commitment to Israel, its People its Land and its Torah; this demonstrates a commitment to the successful raffling off of the only, true Homeland of the Jewish People, along with the security of the crumbs which will be left in the end.

In Peres's Valley Of Peace Initiative, one of Israel's borders will be erased gradually in a very sneaky manner. Europe (Esau) and Jordan (Yishma'el) will be recruited to invest in the project, a dangerous prospect, both physically and spiritually.

See for yourself...

Haveil Havalim #317 Is Up!

19 of the Second Month 5771

The Rebbetzin's Husband is hosting this week's edition (#317) of the Haveil Havalim Blog Carnival.

He calls it the Lag b'Omer Edition.

Israel Isn't The Only Country Turning Into A Police State (Updated)

18 of the Second Month 5771

As you know, I could not give a rat's tuchus as to what goes on in the U. S., with one exception.

That exception is when pointing out certain things occurring in the U. S. will help demonstrate to Jews reasons to leave, and to re-locate permanently to Israel (aliyah).

This is a must see video. When a notably left-wing news source, such as MSNBC, is critical of the current, left-wing, formerly proclaimed Messiah, President, it pays to pay attention to the criticism.

I am not at all familiar with Rachel Maddow, and her take on things. However, I do believe that she did a very good job analyzing this particular speech of President Obama's. Anyone residing in the U. S., or planning to visit should find this speech frightening.

Rachel Maddow did make one mistake, though. In one of her statements, she suggested that the longest amount of time any citizen in a normative democracy can be held without due process is 28 days, and that is in the United Kingdom.

However, in Israel, I have known citizens who have been in "administrative attention," for up to six months, based on the recommendation of Israel's secret police Shabba"k (General Security Service). True, there was court approval, yet charges were never filed, let alone a trial held.

Perhaps Maddow does not consider Israel to be in the category of "normative democracy," in which case she would be correct.

Then, I saw this...
13-Year-Old Boy Questioned by Secret Service Over Facebook Posting

(FoxNews.com) A 13-year-old boy in Washington state faced federal interrogation by a Secret Service agent over a Facebook posting that warned President Obama of suicide bombers, q13fox.com reports.

Vito LaPinta of Tacoma, Wash., said he posted a message on Facebook after Usama bin Laden's death, saying Obama should be careful of possible retaliatory acts against him by other terror members, according to the station.

"I was saying how Usama was dead and for Obama to be careful because there could be suicide bombers," the boy told the station.

A week later, the boy said a man walked into Truman Middle School "with a suit and glasses and he said he was part of the Secret Service."

"He told me it was because of a post I made that indicated I was a threat toward the president," he said.

The boy's mother, meanwhile, says she's not happy her son was questioned by Secret Service without her knowledge or consent, the station reports.

"I just about lost it," Timi Robertson told the station. "My 13 year-old son is supposed to be safe and secure in his classroom and he's being interrogated without my knowledge or consent privately."

And this...
Indiana High Court Rules People Cannot Resist Illegal Entry by Police Into Homes

(FoxNews.com) INDIANAPOLIS -- People have no right to resist if police officers illegally enter their home, the Indiana Supreme Court ruled in a decision that overturns centuries of common law.

The court issued its 3-2 ruling on Thursday, contending that allowing residents to resist officers who enter their homes without any right would increase the risk of violent confrontation. If police enter a home illegally, the courts are the proper place to protest it, Justice Steven David said.

"We believe ... a right to resist an unlawful police entry into a home is against public policy and is incompatible with modern Fourth Amendment jurisprudence," David said. "We also find that allowing resistance unnecessarily escalates the level of violence and therefore the risk of injuries to all parties involved without preventing the arrest."

Justices Robert Rucker and Brent Dickson strongly dissented, saying the ruling runs afoul of the U.S. Constitution's Fourth Amendment against unreasonable search and seizure, The Times of Munster reported....
Thinks it's just about fighting "terrorism" and "terrorist threats?" Watch this...

Nakba النكبة Day Wrap-Up!

13 Jumada Al-Akhirah, 1432
(12 of the Second Month 5771)

OK, so let's see what happened on this year's Nakba Day!

First off,...

Suspected Terror Attack In Tel Aviv; 1 Dead

Man killed, 17 wounded as Arab truck driver goes on rampage in southern Tel Aviv

Yoaz Zitun, YNET.co.il

Terror in Tel Aviv? One man died and 17 people were injured in what police suspect was a terror attack in Tel AvivSunday morning, after a truck driving along Bar-Lev street hit and ran over several vehicles.

The fatality in the incident was identified as Aviv Morag, 29, from Givatayim.

The truck driver, 22-year-old Aslam Ibrahim Isa, from Kfar Kassem, was arrested and taken in for questioning, where he vehemently claimed that he did not set out to perform a terror attack, but rather simply lost control of the vehicle, after one of its tires blew.
What a coincidence. Elder Of Ziyon reports on what a couple of Palestinian news outlets had to say. Needless to say, they were excited by the "incident." You do the math.

Meanwhile,...
Two Policemen Run Over In East Jerusalem
Omri Efraim, YNETnews.com

Two police officers suffered mild injuries in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber.

The two were in the process of checking the papers of Palestinian suspects when a car ran them over. Two Palestinians were also lightly injured. Police forces are canvassing the area for the car and driver.

In the north,...
Syria: Israel's Actions Criminal

Damascus condemns IDF's use of force against Syrian infiltrators who crossed border, calls on international community to 'hold Israel responsible for deadliest confrontation along borders in years'
In other words, Syrians blamed Israel for protecting its borders from hostile, foreign infiltrators. How dare Israel protect its borders!

And, what would Nakba Day be without Jewish cheerleaders?

Radical Leftists: Soldiers Are Killers

In show of support for 'Nakba Day' extreme leftists hold protest in Tel Aviv calling for end to 'killing of innocent civilians.' Right wing activists hold counter protest: You're fifth column

Yoav Zitun, YNETnews.com

Around 100 extreme leftists are protesting near Tel Aviv's Cinematheque in a show of support for the Palestinian "Nakba Day," "the Just people's uprising", and against "the killing of innocent civilians".

The protesters were carrying Palestinian flags and posters reading "Stop the civilian deaths", "Free Palestine", "the IDF is the most moral terror organization in the world", and "There is no holiness in the occupied city."

No surprises here,...just more self-hating Jews, hating Jews, hating Israel, hating Torah. But, I don't blame them. They are [probably] only tinoq shenishbah (could not possibly no any better). Their leaders are the rasha'im.

Of course, the mamlakhti (religious, "all you need is love") crowd does not help matters. They are the reason that such protests are even allowed to persist. As long as they align themselves with the secular government, and maintain their delusions of "democracy" being compatible with Torah, or least while we wait around for Mashi'ah, Ge'ulah will definitely be delayed more than it has to be.

The only surprise here is the use of the term "radical leftist," by the left-wing, Israeli news source YNET. They must be pretty left-wing for YNET to call them "radical!" I wonder what that makes former Education Minister Yuli Tamir (Labor)? She wanted Nakba Day to be taught in Israeli schools, and to be included in textbooks.

The Israeli secret police General Security Service chimed in...

Shin Bet Chief: Regional Instability Benefits Extremists
YNETnews.com

Newly installed Shin Bet Chief Yoram Cohen warned Sunday that the current regional instability in the Middle East benefits extremist Islamist elements.

He added that "the situation also affects existing threats and those we have ahead of us in the Palestinian arena."
Gee. Ya' think? So, now, what are you going to do about it? Same ol', same ol', send the "Jewish Department" out to harras more Jews. Makes sense, right?

And, now, for the good news....

Prime Minister Netanyahu said the following in a speech in the K'nesseth:
"We must stop beating ourselves up and blaming ourselves," Netanyahu said, "The reason there is no peace is that the Palestinians refuse to recognize the State of Israel as the Jewish people's nation state."
Unfortunately, the rest of his was crap. Oh, well. There's always next year. Maybe then the government will stop repeating the same damned mistakes over again, expecting different results. But, probably not.

Sa'eb Erakat ys"w said in his speech:
"The negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians are over. I'm tired of the Israelis ignoring me; I'm tired of people trying to dictate to me what is good and what is not," he said.
Good. Now, we can get down to the business of worrying about the welfare of Jews, building up a [truly] Jewish state, and dealing with the internal Arab problem.

Nope. Probably not.

Yes. Today, truly was a Nakba (tragedy),...but for the Jews. Today was nothing, though.

Read about the real, Jewish Nakba النكبة here.

How Ex-Haredi Artists Can Reapproach Judaism

8 of the Second Month 5771

From The Arty Semite Blog at The Jewish Daily Forward
Ex-Haredi Artists Grapple With Their Pasts

Shulem Dean, April 27, 2011

...The woman in the photo is ex-Hasidic, as is the artist who took it. Both hail from a culture in which the act is still shocking and offensive: a woman entering a man’s domain in search of spiritual fulfillment. The portrait, of course, is powerful both for its rejection of traditional values and the re-appropriation of its ritual objects — especially given its personal context. But it’s the playful, slightly mischievous smile that is most captivating. It is as if both subject and artist, still, after many years, delight in the act of ritual subversion....

I definitely appreciate where many of these artists are coming from.

My father, the artist, left frumkeit, probably for similar reasons. I'll never know because he has never wanted to discuss it, and have to respect that.

When Jews are told to daven every word in the siddur or you're yotzei, you have to stay in schul for 6 hours on Rosh haShannah, and at the Seder Pesah you have to starve and be bored, and then gulp down food at 12:30 at night quickly, is it any wonder that Jews are turned off by Judaism?

Then they're told that the only alternative is to throw away Torah sheb'al Peh (Reform), distort it through unbelievable pil pul (Conservative), or pick and choose (Reconstructionist). After all, God is in all of us, so daven to the God within the person on your left (so called Renewal)....

You get the point.

But, Judaism is just so much easier than that. It is so much easier that it calls into question the motivations behind these "Jewish leaders" Are they really trying to make Judaism easier, more accessible, and/or more meaningful?

I believe that is what these leaders' minyons believe. But, the truth behind the leadership within so-called "liberal" or "progressive" Judaism is a lot more nefarious; it is nothing less that a battle against the Torah itself. The Tzadoqim (Sadducees) and the early Christians tried the same strategy of targeting Torah sheb'al Peh (Oral Torah) first. But, only the early Christians experienced any "success" with this, but only after they started targeting non-Jews, who are inherently disconnected from Torah sheb'al Peh.

Also, please, be wary of these organizations "supporting" those of you making the exodus from Borough Park, Williamsburg, and Kiryas Yoel, and the like. Many of them have an aggressively anti-Torah agenda, and take advantage of your vulnerability.

I highly recommend going out to learn what the various halakhoth actually are, and don't let any "rabbi" (or more likely his shamash or gabbaim) stand in your way!

When you ask a rabbi a question, and he responds with "Da'as Torah," press him to provide you with at least one source, just one source. But that that should include the citation of a specific section and paragraph.

If you are feeling really gutsy, you can ask him where all of the humroth came from which look nothing like the Shulhan Arukh,...which so many Jews claim to holds by. Ask him what the Beth Yosef meant in his introduction to the Shulhan Arukh. Did he really intend for it to be a codification of Jewish Law?

If you speak with a Litvish rabbi, you can ask him why Ashkenazi Jews are required to hold by the Mishnah Brurah. And, if that is truly case, then why is it that Ashkenazi Jews, who say that they do hold by the Mishnah Brurah, do actually hold by it,...except for when they don't.

Confused? You should be confused, because it does not make any sense. The above only expresses some examples the irrationality of galuth (exile) Judaism, which can be found all around the world, including Israel.

You would also probably be surprised at what authentic Judaism actually looks like.

You won't see any Borsolino black hats, because they are not Jewish; they are Italian. And ties? Nope. I would bet you thought they were French, but they are actually Croatian in origin. Still, they are not Jewish.

You won't see most of the countless humroth (stringencies) developed while in galuth (exile). But, you might see one or two you would not expect to see. No doubt, you will be enlightened to find that many of those things which were implied, if not actually told, to you were halakhoth, turn out to be humroth, or minhagim (customs), and that quite a few of those minhagim turn out to be,...well as nonsensical as most of the humroth.

By now, you can tell that I am not just speaking to the ex-Satmar, and the other "ex's" out there, but also to those Jews who do not know the Alef-Bet, and to every Jew in between.

You certainly won't find permission to perform every kind of performance art piece you'd like to within Judaism. But, artistic expression and Torah observance are most certainly compatible! we here on this earth to do whatever we want? If so, then order me a sausage pizza!

We are actually not here on this earth to do whatever we want. If we were, then order me a sausage pizza!

We are here on this earth to do what God wants to make Torah the reality in this world.

But, how do we know what that is, and how to implement it?

You will find the answers in authentic halakha.

Rabbi Me'ir Kahane hy"d Vindicated?

7 of the Second Month 5771

Like many of you, I received this in an e-mail from Women In Green. I have yet to find a link to it on the web, and so I will post it here, in its entirety, followed by my comments.
Yom ha-Atzmaut 5771
Israel Independence Day 2011
MK Ze'ev Elkin at Netzer:

"There Is No Room on the Hills of Judea and Samaria for Two States. It's Either Us or Them"

Hundreds of people came from throughout Israel last night for the independence celebration at the Netzer hill, organized by Women for Israel's Tomorrow (Women in Green), out of solidarity with those who are struggling there to rescue the state lands from a takeover by the Arabs.

To the cheers by those present, MK Ze'ev Elkin said:

"In the struggle for Gush Etzion in 1948, the Jews fought for a Jewish Jerusalem. In the present struggle for the hills of Judea and Samaria, and also for this hill [Netzer], the struggle is for the future of the Jewish state, no more and no less. For there is no room on these hills for two states. It's either us or them. And so, each hills says 'We are here' - and if us, it's us, and not them."

The Israel Prize laureate former MK Geula Cohen recited the Shehekhiyanu ("... who has brought us to this time") blessing for the Holy One, blessed be He, having enabled her to be part of the struggle for Eretz Israel, from before the establishment of the State of Israel to the present. And here, too, at Netzer, the struggle for Eretz Israel is taking place, Cohen pointed out.

Rabbi Gideon Perl, the Gush Etzion regional rabbi, greeted those present. He related that in every generation there are pioneers who go before the camp, and this is how they act at Netzer, to save the lands.

The happening at Netzer began after the fireworks from all the communities of Gush Etzion had fallen silent. Dozens of cars filled the parking places at the foot of the Netzer hill- parking that had been prepared the preceding day for the convenience of the celebrants. The entire hill was illuminated by torches and spotlights. Looking from below, this seemed to be a settlement that had been established in a day. And indeed, within 24 hours the hill became a place brimming with life. Automobiles and jeeps unloaded equipment for the event: generators, chairs, a stage, a sound system, gravel to improve the paths. The place wore a festive appearance with the dozens of Israeli flags that blew in the wind of the Judean hills.

Guides directed people to the top of the hill. For those who had difficulty in climbing up, a jeep stood in readiness to shuttle them to the top.

Already on the way up, the smell of felafel filled the air, and when the celebrants reached the hill top, they could enjoy hot, fresh felafel that was prepared on the spot, hot coffee and cookies, and the Eretz Israel music of Udi Gefen and the Israelim band. The children enjoyed the balloons in all different shapes by Elazar Brandt.

When Geula Cohen arrived, she asked, amazed: "How did you manage to bring so many people up here?"

The dancing kept everyone physically warm, and the words by the speakers warmed people's hearts, and kept alive the fire of the fighting spirit.

Yes, this was a breathtaking sight at Netzer on Yom ha-Atzmaut 5771. Hundreds of people, men, women, and children, took the hills of Netzer with their feet. On the way they saw the hundreds of trees that have been planted in the past two years by the members of Women in Green and the Netzer Group.

This was a moving evening at Netzer - an evening of growth, thanksgiving, and Eretz Israel.

The following day, Tuesday, Yom ha-Atzmaut, dozens of hikers and families filled the hills of Netzer in order to increase the Jewish presence and to enjoy this enchanting picnic site. Thank G-d, Netzer is on the map of awareness as a place that continues the pioneering spirit of the redemption of the lands of Eretz Israel.

Yom ha-Atzmaut Sameah!
Happy Independence Day!

Correct me if I am wrong, but a Member of K'nesseth is advocating the transfer of Arabs out of Israel, or at least Gush Etzion?

Is that not what Rabbi Me'ir Kahane ztz"l hy"d was saying in his book They Must Go!?

Funny how former MK Ge'ulah Cohen (Techiya) was standing right there.

It was Ge'ulah Cohen's Techiya Party which advocated annexation of Yehudah & Shomron (Judea & Samaria), yet would never think of "transfer."

In fact, it was not Ge'ulah Cohen's Techiya Party which was behind the legislation banning Rabbi Kahane's Kakh Party. That's right. It was a right wing party, not a left wing party which was in the forefront of Kakh's demise in the K'nesseth. (Photo: Rabbi Tzvi Yehudah HaKohen Kook and Rabbi Me'ir Kahane)

Could it be that Ge'ulah Cohen's Techiya Party was concerned over the surveys, suggesting that Rabbi Kahane's Kakh Party was expected to receive 14 mandates in the next elections?

Could it be that Techiya Members of K'nesseth were concerned that those mandates would be taken from them, and not from a left wing party?

All of this is speculation, of course. Yet, it is ironic that former MK Ge'ulah Cohen was a party to such "Kahanist" rhetoric, given her history and apparent negative attitude toward Rabbi Kahane and Kakh.

The following story I was told by one his closest talmidim, illustrates what I mean:
A day in K'nesseth, someone came running up to Rabbi MK Kahane to tell him that MK Ge'ulah Cohen was being attacked by an Arab MK in the K'nesseth cafeteria (I do not recall his name).

Rabbi MK Kahane ran out to the cafeteria to MK Cohen. Whatever ensued, I do not recall. However, it is my understanding that MK Cohen told Rabbi Kahane, "I do not need you to defend me."

Rabbi Kahane replied with something like, "Who said I did it for you. It is a mitzvah to defend a Bat Yisra'el."

MK Cohen stormed away in a huff.
Ah, but alas! The lack of clarity in the translation of MK Elkin's speech concerns me.

Experience has taught me to be a pessimist when such words are being spouted off by MK's at Women In Green events.

MK Elkin most likely was referring to the "one-state" solution, and never intended anyone to think that he would consider the transfer of Arabs out of Yehudah & Shomron.

And, so, it appears that former MK Geulah Cohen was simply hearing someone mention her Techiya Party line, and perhaps even reminiscing about it, without any notion at what a failure it was.

The Techiya Party is dead and gone, B"H.

But saying I told you so, even if these Jews had a clue, would be no vindication for Rabbi Kahane hy"d, who loved Am Yisra'el dearly.

As long as Jews continue to be killed, as long as Jews continue to make the same mistakes, expecting different results, as long as Jews repeat the mistake of negotiating with the Yishma'elim (Arabs) in the way that they do, as long as Jews repeat the mistake of encouraging assimilation among goyshe (non-Jewish) cultures, and as long as Jews repeat the mistake of discouraging aliya (immigration to Israel), even by religious Jews, Rabbi Kahane's memory will not achieve any vindication.

IDF Reservists Refuse Orders,...To Return African Refugees To Egypt

6 of the Second Month 5771

This article was published on the [Am] Ha'Aretz news site a while ago. But, I am still dumbfounded when I look at it, and strongly believe it to be a significant issue on which to post. This incident has the potential to fly under the radar, all too easily. We cannot let it.

IDF Reserve Refuses To Carry Out Return Of African Refugees To Egypt

Soldiers and officers had heard descriptions from colleagues who regularly serve in the area about abuse of the Africans by Egyptian border policemen.

Anshel Pfeffer, April 22, 2011

Soldiers and officers in a reserve battalion that served on the Egyptian border in recent weeks have told their commanders they will not take part in "immediate return" - the sending back to Egypt of Africans sneaking into Israel. The brigade commander, meanwhile, has confirmed that the battalion will not carry out "immediate return."

The Negev Brigade's elite reconnaissance battalion completed a three-week deployment on the border. Nearly every night, Africans crossed the frontier, mostly Sudanese and Eritreans, and at least one time, Libyans. (Read the entire article...)

What about the abuse of Jews by the Yassa"m (riot police)?? What about the murder of Jews by the so-called Palestinian Authority Police Force??

IDF soldiers so easily refused orders to kick these Africans out, and back to Africa. Yet, in 5765 (2005), Jews were gathered up from their homes, synagogues, businesses, and gardens, and thrown off of their own Land. Many of these Jews are still homeless, and they have not been the last Jews to be gathered up and thrown off of their Land.

This is so typical, placing concern for non-Jews over Jews, even in ones own country. Despicable! No other country bends over backwards for illegal immigrants, who are here to take advantage of Israel's co-dependent generosity and naiveté.

Sudan oppresses them, Egypt shoots them, and Israel is expected to clean up after the abusive, alcoholic husband Muslim racists?!

Unbelievable!

And what kind of punishment did these soldiers incur for their choice to refuse orders? Absolutely none. Their commander agreed with them, contacted his superior, and managed to have them released from carrying out the order. The article does not say whether the High Court approved order was carried out by another unit.

Soldiers who refused to carry out the expulsion of Jews from their homes five and half years ago were jailed, removed from elite units, or otherwise transfered to less desirable positions. Furthermore, these soldiers had mamlakhti (undying state loyalist) "rabbis," breathing down their necks to make sure that they carried out their orders, and that Jews left their homes. Those rabbis who supported, and still support, the refusing of orders which run contrary to Torah, had less money and less access to the media and publicity machines than those collaborating with the government did and do.

Double standards persist in Israel, in the the government, in the courts, and in the military.

Dear Ariel, Please Join Me In Saying Hallel On 5 b'Iyyar

4 of the Second Month 5771

The following is a response to my friend Ariel Ben Yochanan's "Don't Celebrate 'Independence Day!'" posted at The Torah Revolution.

I plan to say Hallel on 5th of the Second Month (Iyyar), and not on the 6th.

I will be saying Hallel, not for the establishment of the State, per se, but for the miracles HaQadosh Barukh Hu (The holy One, Blessed Be He) did to save us from annihilation, and for the freedom from foreign rule He granted to us, in particular, freedom from the oppressive, British Mandate. This was the first time in over 2,000 years, that Eretz Yisra'el (Land of Israel) was not ruled by a foreign power.

Do we have oppressive forces ruling over us now? Yes, certainly.

Do they act like a foreign power? Yes, in many ways. They often do not operate as a truly Jewish government. They often take orders from abroad. Perhaps, we could call them Hellenists or Romanists, Americanists, or any other number of names. Nonetheless, Israel is not currently ruled by a foreign power.

And, as the Hungarian, Rabbi Teichtel ztz"l says in his monumental work Em HaBanim Sm'echa,...
1) The non-religious Jews will receive some reward for building up the Land.
2) Do not fear, for their rule over the Land will only be temporary.
3) The level of their pride will fall, and they, too, will cry out to HaShem.

The list goes on. I highly recommend this book. It reconciles many of the halakhic (Jewish legal) questions posed by anti-Zionist, Haredim. rabbis. I believe that he will satisfactorily answer yours, too.

The 5th of the Second Month, 5708 was when the Yishma'elim (Arabs) started to attack, and thus the beginning of HaShem's miracles. Albeit, the attacks began on this day, in response to David Ben-Gurion's declaration of a State

Just because the State has screwed up, time and time again, and is not a legitimate, Torah government, this has nothing to do with the miracles done for us. On Hanukkah we say Hallel for the miracles HaShem did to save us from annihilation during the military actions between the kosher Jews (Mattithiyahu Ben Yochanan, the Hashmonaim/Maccabees and their followers) and the non-kosher ones (Helenists) with the ones who did not know any better. Even though the Hashmonaim fell spiritually a couple of generations later, HaShem's miracles did not get retroactively canceled, and we did not stop saying Hallel for them.

You do not have to call it Yom Ha'Atzma'uth (Independence Day). Call it whatever you want. But, do not let the State and the regime be confused with Jewish sovereignty over Eretz Yisra'el, even if you only call it potential, Jewish sovereignty.

Do not let evil people prevent you from praising HaShem and the miracles He has done for us. That is exactly what they want to do.

Haveil Havalim #315: One Wedding And A Funeral

4 of the Second Month 5771

Introduction
Welcome to Haveil Havalim Edition #315!
Founded by Soccer Dad, Haveil Havalim is a carnival of Jewish blogs -- a weekly collection of Jewish & Israeli blog highlights, tidbits and points of interest collected from blogs all around the world. It's hosted by different bloggers each week and coordinated by Jack. The term 'Haveil Havalim,' which means"Vanity of Vanities," is from Qoheleth, (Ecclesiastes) which was written by King Solomon. King Solomon built the Holy Temple in Jerusalem and later on got all bogged down in materialism and other 'excesses' and realized that it was nothing but 'hevel,' or in English, 'vanity.'

A few bloggers seemed to think that I would not include their posts in this edition of Haveil Havalim due to previous expressions of personal differences of opinion. Well, I do not operate that way. I guess those bloggers failed to read between elephants the last time around. Oh, well....

Anyway, did anything else happen during recent weeks besides a wedding and a burial at sea? Let's find out....

More Insanity From Diaspora Jews!

30 of the First Month 5771

Leah-Perl Sholar at the so-called Jewish Learning Institute [JLI] Community Blog asks the question "Can We Celebrate Osama bin Laden's Death?"

Here is my response to her post....
It is a shame that you miss the main point, at least where Jews are concerned, and that is halakha (Jewish Law).

1. We do not learn halakha from random pesuqim.

2. We do not learn halakha out from isolated sections of Talmud.

3. We do not learn halakhic determinations from women.

4. It is a misswah for Jews to take revenge on non-Jews; yet, we do not take revenge on fellow Jews, rather, if they deserve punishment we take them to Beth Din (Rabbinical Court). Many questions regarding the former were taken to rabbinical authorities regarding the Holocaust, and the go ahead was given. Certainly, there are reasons which may preclude the carrying out of this misswah. But, it is a misswah, nonetheless.

5. If nothing else, the elimination of this murderer, of Jews and non-Jews alike, has prevented loss of life.

6. How dare you compare Jews fighting for their lives killing Nazis with Yishma'elim (Arabs - "perei adam" - There's random pasuq proof!) in Ramath-El (Ramallah) killing Jews whose only crime was to take a wrong turn!

7. This post is an excellent example of the confusion between Western culture and sensibilities and Jewish culture and sensibilities, experienced by Jews in the golah (exile). They are not one and the same, and not even necessarily compatible.

I doubt you will publish this comment, so I will.

So what is the JLI? Apparently, it is a "division of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch - The Educational Arm of the Worldwide Chabad Lubavitch Movement"

Two things do not surprise me about this:
1. Active apologetics directed toward the goyim. This is a typical galuthi response. But, what I do not understand why they needed to post something like this at all? They could have remained silent, until someone started spouting antisemitic epitaphs. But, even then, I do not believe this would have been necessary.

In all fairness to Chabba"d, it is called "more Zionist than the Zionists." Well, it is in neighborhoods like Me'ah She'arim. The point is that I doubt this kind of post would come from a Chabba"dnik in Israel. At least, one would hope.

The Jews did not do it, and it was a popular death among even the goyim. Go figure....

2. A woman was allowed to cite and interpret HaZa"L (Our Sages, may their memories be for blessings) and delve into matters of halakha. Over the years, one of the ways in which Chabba"d has demonstrated its increasingly condescending attitude toward other Jews has been to allow their women to address such issues.

Ironically, Chabba"d is very into letting everyone know how frum they are.

They have the most Pesah humros (Passover stringencies) of any Jewish community, save for perhaps Satmar and Toldos Aharon. Yet, they allow their women to enter the domain of men.

Yes, VERY frum, indeed!

Chabba"d's unpublicized attitude has always been... "If you're religious, that's good, but if you're not Chabba"d, you're still wrong."

More and more, its attitude has become ... "Everyone who is not Chabba"d is as unknowledgeable as a fresh ba'al teshuvah (one new, or coming back, to Torah). Even our women know better than you."

The Embarrassment In A City Called Modi'in

30 of the First Month 5771
JPost.com: Royal wedding fever hits the streets of... Modi’in
Lahav Hakov, April 26, 2011

British immigrants to host a Sheva Brachot/Shabbat Dinner/Street Party in honor of Prince William and Kate Middleton's impending nuptials.

As Anglophiles around the world prepare for the upcoming nuptials of Prince William and Kate Middleton, British residents of Modi’in plan to offer their own special mazal tov to the royal couple.

Over 200 people are set to attend a sheva brachot celebration in the streets of Modi’in hours after the royal wedding. The Shabbat dinner will take place in the Shvatim and Moriyah neighborhoods, which are popular with Anglos and have many British residents....
Now, let me get this straight...

Jewish children are going to bed hungry in South Tel-Aviv. The rain of rockets on S'deroth, Be'er Sheva, and Ashqelon could start up at any moment. Hizbollah is doing push-ups and gathering ammunition in preparation for its own rain of rockets in the North.

There are young Jewish couples in the Shomron (Samaria) and the Hevron Hills who can barely afford a modest wedding, the used bed they sleep in, and the rent on their caravan (trailer - yes, there are Jews who live in trailers...).

What about the new orphans of Arab terror in the town of Itamar? Will they be spending Shabbath with anyone to raise their spirits?

And, if you do not have any concern for any of the above, then what about the poor British and American, new immigrant children in Efrath, Beth Shemesh, and Ra'anana who any get $50 a week in allowance, instead of $100. since moving to Israel?

Boo Hoo!

But, no. Instead of being concerned about all or any of the above, your fellow Jews, you are concerned with celebrating the marriage of a couple of goyim (non-Jews),...and not just any goyim.

These goyim are a the future King and Queen of the England, the very same England which royally (pun intended) screwed over Jews left and right, while in control of Eretz Yisra'el, including killing them. (In "Competing visions of 'Never Again,'" Caroline Glick reminds us of just how nasty the British were toward us.)

It is one thing to be stuck in the galuth (diaspora/exile) mentality. Glorifying it is a completely different matter.

The British Royal Family can afford their own mockery of a Jewish ritual. They do not need any help from ex-pats in Modi'in,...home of the Maccabees indeed!

Matithiyahu and his sons are rolling over in their graves!

Haveil Havalim #314 Is Up!

28 of the First Month 5771

Haveil Havalim #314 is up at Frume Sarah's World.

It's the Post-Pesach Edition.

I am set to host next week's edition. Please send me the posts you would like me to include via the on-line submission form.

Is He Really Dead?

28 of the First Month 5771

Hours after President Obama announced that Usama bin Laden was killed by U.S. forces in P
akistan, the Al Qaeda leader's body is buried at sea, p
rompting Americans to celebrate the good news a block from Ground Zero.

Is he really dead?

The world may never know.

How convenient that Bin Laden ysh"u was buried at sea, no?

When Saddam Hussein's ysh"u were bumped off, they were put on display for every American and Iraqi to see for himself, and for autopsy results to be confirmed for everyone's satisfaction.

Bin Laden could have died from kidney failure for all we know. But, if he was eliminated, we will never really know the precise details as to how. Maybe he could have been captured, but the orders were to kill him.

What a shady president the U. S. has. It takes him several years to release his birth certificate. He has a social security number from the State of Connecticut where he has never lived. He used it to register for selective service in 2007, when he should have registered in the 1980's.

And, now this? Check out the photo. Is it him? Maybe it is.

But, that's not the point.

Whether Obama has done anything wrong or not, is also not the point.

His decisions make him appear to be hiding something, or somethings.

His actions make the U. S. look bad. the rest of the world is asking, if this is how the American president operates, then is this also how Americans operate?

CBS News claims that the body has been positively identified. But, c'mon. Does anyone still trust the mainstream, American news media?
