The US State Department announced on Wednesday additional sanctions against more Israelis. The US is imposing sanctions on Hashomer Yosh (Guardians of Judea and Samaria), an Israeli nongovernmental organization that provides support and protection to farms in Judea and Samaria, and specifically the Meitarim Farm, located near Hebron.

It is also sanctioning Yitzhak Levi Filant, the Ravshatz (civilian security coordinator) of the town of Yitzhar in Samaria. (cont.)

For years, I have been writing about Yitzhar and similar ideolgically-based towns, and how the State of Israel views them as existential threats, beginning with Yitzhar: The Israeli Government's Jewish Expulsion Laboratory in 2009.

Over the past several months, we have witnessed the U. S. government become increasingly involved in micromanaging Israel's affairs, and that includes dealing with the threats to allies of the U. S. in the Israeli government.

Increasingly, you ask? Yes. Increasingly. The U. S. has been meddling in Israeli affairs since the U. S. State Dept. recommended against President Truman's recognition of an independent State of Israel.

Government agencies -- the people who run them -- do not like it, when they do not get their way. A perfect example is the United Nations [UN] not getting the partition plan it wanted with Jerusalem being an international city, one of the most important milestones in the globalist enterprise. Having it solely in Jewish hands would be too much of a threat to them. Muslims (Ishmael) and Christians (Esau) fighting over it, less so.

The UN did not like not getting its way. So, ever since then it has been working toward its ultimate goal of control in the region, maybe leaving a token sliver of Israel for Jews. They would certainly never even allow us the original territory it intended for us. In the eyes of the UN, Israel Jews need to be made an example of.

Like the UN, the U. S. State Department also does not like not getting its way.

Am I seriously the only one who sees the pattern here? Just because the U. S. has mostly failed so far, does not mean that they will not keep trying. Democrat or Republican administration, the only difference is in the approach.

I stand by my theory from 2005, that the next major expulsion of Jews from Judea and Samaria will be at the hands of foreign troops. Demonizing the Torah-committed settlers in the leftist-controled, mainstream media will not be enough to support submitting IDF soldiers to the trauma of throwing Jewish out of their homes, like they went threw in תשס״ה/2005 in Gaza.

Israel will need the help of the U. S., perhaps even to use the U. S. as a scapegoat. The U. S. will be happy to oblige, seeing this kind of settler as obstacles to peace its ultimate objectives.

Sanctions are only the first stage.

Received an administrative order today (!!) from Central Command General Avi Bluth ordering him to be under full house arrest! for two months. why? Because Bluth and the Shabbak (General Security Service).

No evidence, no trial, nothing. Rubber stamp.

Of course, no leftist will ever receive such an order, not even the great anarchists who have been trolling the system for years.

Not even Bedouins and Arabs who are involved in serious crime, certainly not the children of infiltrators who ruin life in Tel Aviv. And they're not just the children of criminals.

2. שארה״ב נמנעת מלעודד כל מרד פנימי בתוך איראן. מסתבר למה אובמה סירב לתמוך בהפגנות ובמחאות באיראן שהתקיימו בזמן ממשלו.
3. גורדון גםמהצליח לשכנע את אובמה להסכים שהחששות של איראן לגבי שני הנושאים הללו, דהיינו פחד מפלישה ופחד ממוצא פנימי היו לכשריים. ואובמה עצמו אמר כך.

פיליפ גורדון בהחלט מסוכן לישראל. הוא מאמין שחמאס רוצה להשמיד את ישראל בגלל הכיבוש, והשמצת "זכותם" למולדת? האם מישהו יכול להיות כל כך תמים וטיפש כזה?

10:18 חסן אל-בנא הקים את ״האחים המוסלמים״ לפני כמאה שנה במצרים, הרבה לפני הקמת מדינת ישראל, כי הכל היה ב"כיבוש". (לעג מר)

 עד מתי עולם המערב יבין הערבים אינם כמו אנשי המערב. גורדון עצמו הזכיר את התרבות המוסלמית, ואת אמונתו עד כמה היא חשובה להם. למרות זאת, ברור שהוא לא מבין את התרבות המוסלמית בכלל.

יש מצב שהוא כן מבין את התרבות המוסלמית והוא ועוד כמוהו פשוט זורקים דלק על האש למטרת המשך את העימותים בין היהודים ומוסלמים? ...עד שעשיו (אדום / המערב) יוכל להכנס למזרח התיכון להשתלט על האזור במלואו?

כתב המנדט באזור, האו"ם שמתעסקת בעניינים שלנו, העלאת השאה של איראן לשלטון על ידי ארה״ב, מלחמת המפרץ הראשונה, מלחמת המפרץ השנייה, שימוש בישראל כמיופה הכוח שלה כדי להלחם במוסלמים (ישמעאל), העדויות הללו בדיוק מה שאנו ראינו במהלך במאה השנים האחרונות. הכל התחיל במסעות הצלב, לפני כמעט 1,000 שנה.

3:31 He was Obama's, at the time, future Middle East coordinator when he was first went into government. Obama was the one that selected him. That should tip you off, also as to where this story is going. He believed that Muslim terrorists were basically angry over their culture being surpassed by the West's. But they were believers in freedom of speech and democracy, etc.

4:18 Philip Gordon characterized us as the local upstart. Okay. That's how he characterized Israel, as the local upstart.

4:35 - 5:25 He [Philip Gordon] claimed that America was creating terrorists by three things:
1. By illegally detaining Al-Qaeda terrorists... on the battlefield, not at Guantanamo Bay.
2. By failing to punish American soldiers who were disrespectful to Islam.
3. By justifying any Israeli military action.

6:15 - 7:55 Gordon urged Obama to assure Iran of the following three things:
1. That the United States had no intention of using military force against Iran under any circumstance.
2. That we would forswear fomenting any internal descent within Iran. This explains why Obama refused to support the protests and demonstrations in Iran that broke out under his administration.
3. He got Obama to agree that Iran's concerns about these two issues namely fear of invasion and fear of internal descent were legitimate. And Obama said as much.

8:02 - 8:36 Right now Philip Gordon is Kamala Harris's national security advisor and he's seen as a possible, future Secretary of State. I've been told, from people I know in Washington, it is also possible that he may be shortlisted for National Security Advisor. That would be even more dangerous for us, because the advisers operate in the shadows, and have daily contact with the President.

8:46 Just a few weeks ago in fact Gordon urged Israel to stop seeking victory over Hamas and accept a hostage deal that would explicitly allow Hamas to survive, and he also advised Israel to release as many security prisoners as Hamas required for a ceasefire.

9:23 In justification of these acts, he said that he believes that Hamas may eventually accept Israel. RBH: Obviously that's clearly the what they're aiming for.

9:55 Regarding Hamas's covenant to exterminate Jews, Gordon said that these are just words on paper. Forget about October 7th. These are just words on paper. And second of all, if they did mean it, it was the result of the occupation, and the denigration of Palestinians' Fakestinians' right to a national homeland.

10:43 Daniel Greenfield ended his piece by saying that if Philip Gordon and Ilan Goldenberg, just those two, actually became prominent members of a Harris Administration, we would be dealing with, quote, "an Obama administration on steroids." And that's pretty frightening to contemplate, which is why -- RBH: it is absolutely horrifying to contemplate -- when I heard about this, first Goldenberg, and now this [Philip Gordon].

Pollard concludes by stating the necessity of eliminating, and not just defeating our enemies, and working toward military independence.

Philip Gordon is certainly dangerous to Israel. He believes that Hamas wants to destroy Israel because of the occupation, and denigration of their "right" to a homeland? Could anyone possibly be this naive and stupid. 

10:18 Hassan Al-Bana established the Muslim Brotherhood well about a 100 years ago in Egypt, well before the establishment of the State of Israel,... because it all was all about "occupation." (sarcasm)

When will the West finally realize that Arabs are not Western. Gordon himself has mentioned Muslim culture, and his belief in how important it is to them. Yet, he clearly does not understand it himself, not in the least.

Or does he, and people like his are simply throwing gas on the fire to keep Jews and Muslims at each others' throats? ...until Esau (Edom / The West) can move in, and finally take full control over the region.

The British Mandates in the region, the United Nations' meddling, putting the Shah of Iran into power, the First Gulf War, the Second Gulf War, using Israel as its proxy to fight Muslims (Ishmael) are just what we have been seeing during the last hundred years. It all began with The Crusades, almost 1,000 years ago.

It is past time to realize that the West, whether Evangelicals, progressives, or mainstream Americans standing ready to exploit us, cannot be trusted. They are not our friends.

We must take Pollard's advice, and Moshe Feiglin's, and others' to actively work toward our independence from the West, and not just militarily, but also psychologically, spiritually, and yes, economically.

I guess I was wrong for suggesting that U. S. politics, especially election politics, was for entertainment purposes only. Well, it is. It just pays to pay attention to it, and to understand that it never results in a happy ending for Israel.

Never.

Wait a minute. Do you think that maybe I should be careful with my words? After all, I do not want to incur sanctions from the Biden Harris administration.

Be careful with my words for fear of receiving sanctions from the U. S.?

הבוקר פרסמה מפלגת עוצמה יהודית בראשות השר איתמר בן גביר מודעה נגד ראש השב"כ רונן בר, שבה נכתב בין היתר כי מי שנכשל ב-7 באוקטובר "מוביל לאסון נוסף", כשהכוונה לעסקת החטופים. שר הביטחון יואב גלנט תקף בצהריים (ראשון) את בן גביר בישיבת הממשלה הסגורה ואמר: "הזדעזעתי הבוקר לפתוח את העיתון ולראות שאתה משתמש בכספי מדינה לתקוף את ראש השב"כ". שר החינוך יואב קיש הוסיף: "זו שערורייה, זה לא במקום. במיוחד לא בזמן מלחמה".

בן גביר השיב לטענות נגדו: "לראש השב"כ מותר לתקוף שר בממשלה?", והשרה גילה גמליאל העירה: "לא יכול להיות שתוקפים את ראש השב"כ בזמן מלחמה". מי שגיבה את השר בן גביר הוא שר התקשורת שלמה קרעי, מהליכוד: "לעשות מסיבה ולטפוח האחד לשני על השכם זה כן בסדר?", וגלנט עקץ: "אני רואה שכל חברי המפלגה של בן גביר תוקפים אותי".

בדיון התייחס תחילה גלנט ללחימה בצפון, ואמר כי תהיה "הסדרה או מלחמה, אבל בכל מקרה בסוף תהיה הסדרה". בן גביר תקף בתגובה את שר הביטחון: "הרעיון שאחרי מלחמה הם לא יוכלו להשיב - אבל אתה נעול על הסדרה, לא מבין שאתה פוגע בתושבי הצפון".

אז השיב גלנט בביקורת ואמר כי הוא הזדעזע מכך שהוא תוקף את ראש השב"כ מכספי מימון מפלגות. "למה לראש השב"כ מותר לתקוף שרים, לצאת נגד מדיניות הממשלה, לפרסם מכתבים נגד ראש הממשלה ולי אסור להטיח בו ביקורת?", השיב השר לביטחון לאומי. השר קרעי תקף כאמור גם כן: "להם מותר לממן מסיבה של 1,500 איש של חליוה?".

"הבעיה שאתה כבר לא חבר בליכוד ולא מבין שדין אחד לצפון ודין אחד לתל אביב", אמר בן גביר לגלנט, "אתה מבין מה קורה בקריית שמונה, אתה מתעלם מכך שחיזבאללה חוצה את הקווים האדומים, עובר את כל הגבולות ושר הביטחון שלנו מדבר על הסדרה"...

...נתניהו השיב: "אני מסכים שגם אם רוצים לומר ביקורת יש דרך לומר אותה. ואני מבקש לומר לשרים: 'איזה הוא גיבור? הכובש את ביקורתו'. זה יום שהיינו צריכים כולנו להיות מאוחדים כאיש אחד. האויב רואה בפילוג בינינו קורי עכביש מפוררים. אנחנו חייבים להראות לו שאנחנו מאוחדים כאיש אחד כאגרוף כנגד הרוע".

• נתניהו מחכה בשקט ובסבלנות ואז מחלק ושולט. ועוד דבר, אי אפשר להתווכח על ״...יש דרך לומר אותה״. הגיוני נכון? והוא מצליח להעליב גם את בן-גביר וגם בר וגם גלנט באותו רגע. בוא נגיד שעדיין יש לו את זה.

במודעה שפרסמה עוצמה יהודית בעיתונים הבוקר נכתב כי "רונן בר נכשל ב-7.10 ומוביל את ישראל לאסון נוסף. אומרים לא לעסקה מופקרת".

בעקבות המתקפות עליו, 169 בכירים לשעבר במערכת הביטחון, שחברים בפורום "חומת מגן", פנו היום במכתב לראש השב"כ ואמרו לו כי הם מבקשים לחזק את ידו מול המתקפות של בן גביר. "שירות הביטחון הכללי בראשותך מתמודד באחרונה עם אתגרים רבים ובראשם המלחמה בטרור", כתבו. "לצערנו לאחרונה נדרש השירות להתמודד גם עם הטרור היהודי. אנו מבקשים לחזק את ידיך ואת כל עובדי השב"כ מול המתקפות הפרועות והגסות של שרים שלצערנו מורשתם הכהניסטית נותנת את אותותיה בהחלטות ממשלת ישראל. במיוחד כעת כשהשב"כ, צה"ל, המוסד ושאר ארגוני הביטחון, עסוקים בלחימה יומיומית".

במכתבם התייחסו הבכירים, בהם רמטכ"ל, מפכ"לים, ראשי שב"כ ומוסד לשעבר למודעה שפורסמה. "היום אנשי השב"כ התעוררו למודעת הכפשה נגדם הממומנת מכספי ציבור. אנו קובעים כי הניסיונות להחליש את מערכת הביטחון ולהפחיד את ראשיה מלהביע עמדה מקצועית, יפוררו את ישראל ויפגעו בביטחונה". לדבריהם, "ריקון המשטרה מיכולת תפקוד לאור ערכים ממלכתיים והפגיעה האנושה בתפקודה הם תוצאה ישירה של מסע ההסתה וההפחדה של השר בן גביר הממונה עליה ומינויים בוטים 'מטעם' ומשמעותם סיכון מיידי של ביטחון המדינה ושל יכולתה לפעול כמדינת חוק דמוקרטית".

• כל פעם שח״כ או מישהו קישור לממשלה אומר את המילה ״דמוקרטית״ אנו חייבים לצחוק. אין להם מושג מה זאת דמוקרטיה. כל שמיניסט בארה״ב שלומד מידע פוליטי וכלכלה בכיתה י״ב יודע יותר על דמוקרטיה למעשה יותר מח״כים. או אולי הם כן יודעים על דמוקרטיה ופשוט מעוותים את העניין.

היחסים בין בן גביר לבר הפכו מתוחים מתמיד בשבוע האחרון, לאחר שבישיבת הקבינט המדיני-ביטחוני בשבוע שעבר נטש השר לביטחון לאומי את הדיון בזעם - במחאה על מכתב של ראש השב"כ רונן בר, שפורסם בחדשות קשת. במכתב, שבו הזהיר בר מפני "הטרור היהודי" שמסכן את ביטחון המדינה ואת עצם קיומה, הוא גם מתח ביקורת חריפה על בן גביר ועל הפרת הסטטוס-קוו בהר הבית.

• בר מדבר על הסכנה למדינה ועצם קיומה, ולא על הסכנה לעם ישראל או לארץ ישראל. הוא מדבר על פעילויות המתנחלים להגן על עצמם כ״טרור יהודי״. נראה שמבחינתו, כל דבר ש באמת קשור בתורה איום הקיומי על המדינה.
• הממשלה הכשילה את אותם מתנחלים, נאמנים לתורה על פני המדינה, פעם אחר פעם. מצמצמת חיילי צה"ל מיהודה ושומרון בתירוץ הנחוץ להם בעזה. למתנחלים הממלכתיים -- הילדים טובים שמתנגים יפה -- אין הרבה בעיות בביטחון. לא כדאי לאף אחד להתפלא.
• להיות ממותגים כ"טרוריסטים" על כך שהם מגנים על עצמם, כאשר הממשלה לא יכולה או לא רוצה להגן עליהם, ובזמן שרבים מהם משרתים בעזה ומגנים על המדינה כולה, הוא אחד הדברים הגרועים ביותר שממשלת ישראל עשתה אי פעם.
• אירועי הרצח של אלטלנה היו רעים, אבל המדינה עדיין לא הייתה מדינה.
• "טרוריסטים" האלה אפילו מוסרים את חייהם כדי להגן על האליטה חילונית ששונאת אותם.
(כבר היינו צריכים ללמוד את הלקח שלנו ממלחמת לבנון בפיקודו של אהוד ברק.)
• בינתיים הממשלה מקפידה להמנע מלפגוע ב"אזרחים [הלא כל כך] התמימים" בעזה שנמצאו מחזיקים בני ערובה ישראלים, מחשש לעונש מהקהילה הבינלאומית. לא לדאג. אנו נענש על ידיהם בכל מקרה.
• מי שמציע אסטרטגיה שונה מהגנת האזרחים בעשה, שיכלה להציל חיים של אינספור חיילי צה"ל, הוא מסתכן בהאשמתו בעבירת הסתה, ואז יורשע וייענש.

לפי הדיווח, בר טען כי התקדמות בכיוון של בן גביר "תוביל לשפיכות דמים רבה ותשנה ללא היכר את פניה של מדינת ישראל", והדגיש: "נדרש מאמץ בין-משרדי למיגור התופעה. אני משוכנע שזה צריך להיות אחד היעדים המרכזיים של הממשלה. מוקדם לפני שיהיה מאוחר מדי. תופעה זו מייצרת סיכון משמעותי ביותר לביטחון האזור". כמו כן, הזהיר מפני "פיגועי נקם".

Ha'aretz: Ben-Gvir Runs Ad Against Shin Bet Chief for 'Failing on October 7' in Israeli Newspapers
The ad, which includes the logo of Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit party and a photo of Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar, claims Bar 'failed on October 7 and is leading Israel to another disaster,' adding 'Say no to a reckless deal.' The Prime Minister's Office has yet to respond

Far-right party Otzma Yehudit published a paid ad in Israeli newspapers on Sunday morning against a hostage deal with Hamas and against Shin Bet security service chief Ronen Bar.

The ad, which includes Otzma Yehudit's logo and portrays Bar's picture, states: "Ronen Bar failed on October 7 and is leading Israel to another disaster. Say no to a reckless deal."

Bar issued a public warning three days ago, claiming that Jewish terror is posing an existential threat to Israel. In a letter sent to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, cabinet ministers and the attorney general, Bar warned that the leaders of the Jewish terrorists "want to cause the system to lose control, causing indescribable damage to Israel."

• When Bar says "Israel," I am certain that he means "the State of Israel," and not the "People of Israel" nor the "Land of Israel." To him, anything Torah-related, that is truly Torah-related, is probably his existential threat to the State. The YNET piece in Hebrew above, in which he says "State," instead of "Israel," confirms this.
• The government has failed those settlers, loyal to Torah over State, time and time again. Removing IDF resources from Judea and Samaria with the excuse they are needed in Gaza, while the "well-behaved," mamlakhti (diehard State loyalist) settlers do not appear to be having too many issues, should come as no surprise to anyone.
• Being branded as "terrorists" for defending themselves, when the government cannot or will not defend them, and while many of them are serving in Gaza defending the entire State, is one of the worst things the Israeli government has ever done.
• The Altalena incident murders were horrible, but the State was not a State yet.
• These "terrorists" have even been giving their lives to defend those secular elitists who hate them.
(We should have already learned our lesson from the Lebanon War under Ehud Barak.)
• Meanwhile the government has been careful not to harm the not so "innocent civilians" of Gaza (who were found holding Israeli hostages), fearing retribution from the international community, retribution which we are bound to receive anyway.
• Anyone who suggests a different strategy than this one, that could have saved countless lives of IDF soldiers, risks being accused of the crime of incitement, convicted and punished.

Bar added that police incompetence and "perhaps a sense of hidden support" for these acts are increasing considerably, reflected in "the significant expansion" of those taking part in these acts.

He noted that the perpetrators of Jewish terror have lost all fear of administrative detention "due to the conditions they get in prison and the funds they receive after their release from Knesset members as well as legitimacy and praise, alongside a delegitimization campaign against the defense officials." All these give a tailwind to the Jewish terrorism, Bar argued.

On Friday, Ben-Gvir issued a statement to the media attacking Bar and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in wake of the arrest of four settlers suspected of committing "terrorist acts against Palestinians."

"The captains of the failure, Ronen Bar and [Defense Minister Yoav] Gallant, the father of the [pre-Oct. 7] misconception, continue to harass patriots," he wrote.

"The head of the Shin Bet, who sent 'an emergency letter' should have received a letter of dismissal by October 8. The ongoing failure is his and the defense minister's behavior should end, the sooner, the better," Ben-Gvir added.

The Prime Minister's Office has yet to respond to a Haaretz request for a comment on Otzma Yehudit's ad.

• Actually, in the YNET report in Hebrew found above, Netanyahu mentions how "there is a way to issue criticism," implying that he does not approve of the way Ben-Gvir went about criticizing Shabbak Chief Ronen Bar. Netanyahu waits quietly and patiently and then divides and conquers. We cannot even argue with his logic, can we? He also manages to put both Ben-Gvir, Bar, and Galant in their place, all in one shot. Let's just say that, like him or not, Netanyahu has still got it.
• The YNET report also mentions "threats" to democracy. Every time MK or someone linked to the government says the word "democratic" we have to laugh. They have no idea what democracy is. Every 12th-grader in the U. S. who is required to take "civics" knows more about democracy than any MK. Or perhaps MKs do know about democracy, but simply distort it for their own gain. The only threat to Israel's fleeting democracy is its own Supreme Court.

Opposition leader Yair Lapid said in response that "Only an unstable clown like Ben-Gvir is capable in the middle of the war, while residents in the north are in shelters and soldiers are getting killed, of paying for an ad attacking the head of the Shin Bet who is a patriot and a real fighter like Ben-Gvir never was and never will be."

Yesh Atid lawmaker Meirav Ben Ari took to X, slamming Ben-Gvir. "In the middle of a war, the national failure minister pays for an ad attacking the Shin Bet chief. There has never been, and never will be, such a pathetic and incompetent cabinet minister in Israeli history," she wrote.

Sure, Ha'aretz is biased... very biased. But in my experience, it pays to pay attention to the tripe it puts out once in a while. Sometimes, it can even backfire on itself. And that is well worth it to that, when it happens.

It also happens to be the first version in English, reporting on the same internal, government fighting as the YNET piece in Hebrew above.

Although I appreciate the various criticism of Internal Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, including that of Yonatan Pollard, maybe he is no doing such a bad job after all. He has definitely hit some nerves.

• Ben-Gvir: There is no status quo. Wakf, Palestinians trampled it that. Jews have every right to pray on the Temple Mount.
• Ben-Gvir says a synagogue should be built on the Temple Mount.
• Ben-Gvir dares to criticize the head of the Shabbak (Internal Security Service).
• Members of Government criticize Ben-Gvir using party funds to criticize the head of the Shabbak, while a party for outgoing IDF Intelligence Chief Aharon Halivah and 1,500 people is funded by the government itself. 
• Herzog: no place for Kahanism needs to be removed from government.

The double standards Ben-Gvir is continually up against -- the double standards that WE are continually up against -- the doesn't seem to be any end to them.

The mezuzah case is in the shape of the entire land of Israel, Judea, Samaria, Gaza, and the Golan Heights. It was donated by the Judea and Samaria Council. As usual, Southern Lebanon, which comprises the norther sections of the territories of the Tribes of Asher and Naphtali have been excluded.

To mark the seventh commemoration of the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism, a virtual high-level event titled "Voices for Peace: Victims of Terrorism as Peace Advocates and Educators" took place on August 21. The exhibition includes victims of the Twin Towers attack in 2001 and even terrorism in Indonesia but not a single representation of the October 7 massacre terror victims or any other Israeli terror victim...

Israel's new ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, said: "The UN's ignoring of Israeli terror victims, and during the year of such a brutal and shocking massacre, is a disgrace and marks a new moral low for the UN. The October 7 massacre is the largest terrorist attack in the last year and the most brutal massacre against Jews since the Holocaust, in which 1,200 Israelis were murdered and 109 are still being held hostage in Gaza."

"The UN was able to find the mother of a 'Palestinian terror victim' who was killed in New Zealand but was unable to find a single terror victim from the most brutal massacre that happened this year, or any Israeli terror victim from the thousands of terror incidents carried out against us. The Israeli delegation to the UN will make sure that no one in this building forgets October 7 and our hostages," Danon added. "As long as the UN doesn't declare Hamas a terrorist organization, this day remains utterly meaningless."

Why aren't people more angry at him? Are they?

Maybe the problem is that his oaths were to the wrong entities. He was loyal to the IDF, to the State, and to its citizens, but not to the Jewish People and its homeland. To those of you who believe that these are one and the same, I suggest that you think harder on this.

Of course, God and His Torah were either absent from this oath, or the words were distorted to confuse.

Halivah does mention the benefit of the Jewish People in his speech. So, perhaps he is one of those [mamlakhtim] who believes that "the State and its citizens" are interchangeable with "the Jewish People."

So, now what? Investigation? Stripping of rank and pension? Criminal charges? Negligence? Manslaughter? Worse?

Doubt it.

He just gets to apologize, and that's it?

It is right to establish a state commission of inquiry to thoroughly and deeply investigate all aspects that led to war, so that what happened to us will not happen ever again - for the sake of our children and future generations."

JNS: State attorney seeks probe of Israeli singer over ‘incitement’ against Gaza
"Erase Gaza. Don't leave a single person there," superstar Eyal Golan said following the Hamas-led Oct. 7 massacre.

(August 19, 2024 / JNS) Israeli State Attorney Amit Aisman has requested permission to open a preliminary criminal investigation against Eyal Golan, one of the Jewish state’s most famous musicians, on suspicion of “incitement to violence” against the residents of the Gaza Strip, it was revealed on Monday.

Aisman’s decision stems from remarks Golan made following the Oct. 7 Hamas-led massacre of some 1,200 people, mainly Jewish civilians, in which the popular singer urged soldiers to “wipe out” the terrorist enclave.

“Erase Gaza. Don’t leave a single person there,” Golan told Channel 14 in an Oct. 15 interview, adding, “They are simply human animals, people that came to murder women, children and babies.”

Golan’s remarks were cited earlier this year in South Africa’s case against the Jewish state at the International Court of Justice in The Hague. (cont.)

In 2005/תשס״ה, when popular singer Ariel Zilber went to Gaza to protest the pending expulsion of Jews, became increasingly religious, then full on Chabadnik, they called him names. Now Israeli superstar Eyal Golan is threatened with charges for daring to call out sworn enemies of the Jewish People???

Let us not forget that hostages were being held by Gaza civilians, and that civilians followed invaders into the towns surrounding Gaza, in order to pillage spoils from brutally murdered Israelis.

And we are supposed to be concerned that he may have hurt their feelings? Make them feeling threatened? Does the State's Attorney really believe that anyone will charge into Gaza on his own, because he was incited to do so by Eyal Golan?  Does the State's Attorney believe that Golan himself would lead such a charge?

Anyone ever think that one week after our land and people were attacked, Golan and everyone else might be more than a little angry? Is it possible that none of us were entirely focused too clearly on the exact words coming out of our mouths? Does the State's Attorney really think Golan is the only one to have expressed this sentiment? Is he that concerned over the potential influence he has over his fans?

Once again, we see the State of Israel's double standards at play, more concerned over what the non-Jewish, international community thinks of it, even over what its constituents think. Jewish self-respect is not even secondary.

I wonder how many under the Attorney General's authority even identify as Jews. Do they prefer to identify as global citizens?

The prosecutor's office clarified that they were required to prepare a legal reference to statements made by political parties and other influential people after October 7, clarified that it was transferred to the Ombudsman - but refused "to refer to the internal documents or the opinion". According to the announcement, no criminal investigations were opened - and the decision was made before the publications surrounding Golan and Kobi Peretz (August 19, 2024, Hebrew above)

So, what will happen to Eyal Golan? I pray that he will land on his feet, and not have to put up too much of a fight. But who will be the next target? Can our government possibly sink any lower get any lower?

לא להעלב מהכינוים לא יפים שיוצאים מהפה שלו. מה אכפת לכם מהדעות שלו עליו? אנו צריכים להקשיב לו למרות הכינוים. הוא שואל שאלה חשובה.

גם אם יהודי צעיר כזה היה בתל אביב כדי לספק תוצרת אורגנית, פטריות מהודרות או ביצים חופשיים לאליטה החילונית, שוטרי משטרה היו להביט בו יותר מצעיר ערבי. פיגוע הטרור שנכשל האחרון שביצע ערבי מיהודה ושומרון בדרום תל אביב לא ישנה כלום. כפי שכתוב לעיל, למרות כל האיתות סגולה על ידי תושבי השכונות המרכזיות והצפוניות הנחשקות של תל אביב, אפליה מעמדית כן קיימת בעיר.

כנראה בנו של סינוואר לעולם לא יימצא ברחוב לח"י בשכ׳ התקווה כל שכן דרומה יותר משם באמצע שכונות מלאות פליטים מסתננים סודנים ואריתריאים, שבית המשפט העליון בישראל מסרב לאפשר את גירושם.

אז מה התשובה לשאלה של הערבי בסרטון? מחלת תלות שיתופית שלנו בקהילה הגלובליסטית הלא יהודית? לשמור על המראה של שוויון גזעי ודתי? או שניהם?

Don't be offended by his name calling. You need to listen beyond that. He asks a valid question.

I believe the answer may very well be that Sinuar's son is an Arab, and presumably a well-off Arab. Of course, there is always the chance that he is being surveilled. Nevertheless, money and power talk in Israel, especially in Tel-Aviv, regardless of background. Well, wealthy Haredim (ultra-orthodox) from the U. S., might only receive a forced smile and handshake, but certainly not any invitation to a wedding or bar-mitzvah celebration, unless a corporate merger was on the line.

A young man in Tel-Aviv, wearing a large kippah (Jewish male head covering), knit with thick yarn, tzitziyoth hanging out of his shirt, or worn over his shirt, with untrimmed beard, would be deemed suspicious. To the powers that be, he can be there only for reason, to cause trouble, hang propaganda posters, write graffiti, or dare to exercise his theoretical right to free speech, by attending a protest for the wrong side. 

Even if such a young man was in Tel-Aviv to deliver organic produce, fancy mushrooms, or free-range eggs, to the secular elite, he would catch more side glances from police than any Arab would. The recent, botched terror attack carried out by an Arab from Judea and Samaria in South Tel-Aviv would not change anything. As alluded to above, in spite of all of the virtue signaling, flowing out of the more desireable Central and Northern neighborhoods of Tel-Aviv, the city is still fairly classist.

I doubt Sinuar's son would never be caught dead on Leh"i Street, let alone farther south in the midst of Sudanese and Eritrean refugees infiltrators, whose deportation Israel's Supreme Court refuses to allow.

So, what is the answer to this Arab's question? Co-dependence on the non-Jewish, globalist community? Keeping up the appearance of ethnic and religious equality? Or both?

לפני כמה ימים אני נכנסתי לבית הקפה הרגיל שלי, ראיתי את מנהל המקום מסתובב במטבח עם גבר די צעיר בן לא יותר משלושים וחמש חובש כיפה. היה לו זקן קצוץ, ולבוש כלאחר יד. לאחר שהוא סיים להסתובב ולדבר עם המנהל הוא ישב לשתות קפה בשולחן שבו הוא הניח את קסדה שלו. הקסדה לאופניים או לקורקינט. ידעתי שהוא צריך להיות משגיח הכשרות מקומי.

אחרי עוד כמה דקות ניגש אליו אחד מעובדי בית הקפה כדי לשאול אותו שאלה. לא יכולתי להמנע מלשמוע. העולה החדש יחסי שפנה אליו שאל למי הוא צריך לפנות כדי לברר את דינו כיהודי בעיני הרבנות, ובכך גם המדינה. כמובן שכיום למדינה לא אכפת מי יהודי ומי לא.

אם העולה הזה רוצה להתחתן דרך בארץ ובדרך הרבנות הראשי והנישואים יוכרו רשמית כנישואים כשרים, עליו להוכיח לרבנות שהוא באמת יהודי.

המשגיח נתן לו את המספר שלו ואמר לו ליצור איתו קשר, והוא יכוון אותו הלאה.

אני כותב על החוויה הזו לאור הביקורת המתמשכת על הרבנות בישראל, כולל מצד עצמי.

הביקורת כוללת איך הרבנות מתיחסת לאלה שרוצים להתגייר ולתהליך הגיור בכלל, ושהרבנות צריכה להחמיר פחות. אני לא מסכים עם הביקורת הזו.

בגלל אלו שעוברים תהליך גיור שקר למשל דרך התנועה הרפורמית, בני זוג של ישראלים שעוברים גיור לא-אכפתית ממניעים נסתרים, והנוצרים המתגנבים דרך הדלת האחורית הזו, על הרבנות לשמור על עמדותיה הנוכחיות.

מאז שאני זוכר בית המשפט העליון מחליש את כוחה של הרבנות ומקדים את האג'נדה שלו להפוך את מדינת ישראל היהודית והדמוקרטית למדינה יותר "דמוקרטית" ופחות "יהודית". ובאותו רגע משטה את העם להאמין ששתי התכונות הללו הן כאחת ואותו דבר למעשה. כמובן זה לא נכון. מערכת שלטונית יוונית (הלניסטית) אינה משתווה למערכת יהודית.

הרבנות בכלל לא מושלמת. אבל למרבה הצער, כולנו מתרכזים יותר מדי בפוליטיקה המדווחת על הרבנים הראשיים וצוותיהם, ובאמירות של דעותיהם בהלכה שהוצאו מהקשרם.

מצד שני, לא מדווחים את החוויות החיוביות שלנו עם נציגיה המקומיים בשטח, שמדברים עם אנשים פנים אל פנים, כמו הרב צעיר ונגיש בבית קפה.

אבל הדבר האחרון שאנחנו צריכים הוא ארגונים כמו צהר ובית הלל להשתלט וליצור את הרבנות מחדש בצלמיהם. בין אם הם מבינים זאת ובין אם לא, ארגונים כאלה רק יזרזו להקדים את האג'נדה 'ערב רב' של בית המשפט העליון והיא מדינת ישראל לא יהודית, מעין דמוקרטית, למרות שכולם מאמינים שהיא כן מדינה יהודית.

The other day when I came into my regular café, I saw the manager walking around the kitchen, talking to a man wearing a kippah (Jewish male head covering). He could not have been older than in his thirties, with a cropped beared, dressed casually. After finishing with the manager, he sat down to drink his coffee, at the table wear he had set down his helmet, made for either a bicycle or scooter. I determined that he was a local mashgi'ah kashruth (kosher supervisors).

A few minutes later, one of the café's employees approached him to ask him a question. I could not but help overhearing. The relatively new immigrant who approached him asked who he should contact to work out his status as a Jew in the eyes of the Rabbinate, and thus the State. Of course, the State couldn't care less. Just come to Israel, and look around.

If this young man wants to get married through the official Jewish channels in Israel, and have that marriage officially recognized as a koshe one, he must demonstrate to the Chief Rabbinate of Israel that he is, in fact, a Jew.

The mashgi'ah gave him his number, and said to contact him, and that he would direct him further.

I am taking the time relay this experience, in light of the continuous criticism of the Rabbanate in Israel, including from myself.

The criticism includes how it deals with those desiring to convert and conversion in general, and that the Rabbinate could be less stringent. I do not share this criticism.

With of those having gone through fake conversions such as through the Reform Movement, boyfriends, girlfriends, even spouses of Israelis going through the motions of conversion with ulterior motives, and the Christians sneaking in through this backdoor, the Rabbinate must maintain its current standards.

The Israeli Supreme Court has been chipping away at the Rabbinate's power since I can remember, pushing its agenda to make the Jewish, democratic State of Israel more "democratic" than "Jewish," and fooling the populace into believing that these two qualities are one and the same. Even though they are not. A Hellenist governmental system does not equal a Jewish one.

The Rabbinate is far from perfect. But unfortunately, we are all too wrapped up in the politics reported about about the Chief Rabbis and their staffs, and statements of their politically-incorrect halakhic (Torah legal) opinions, taken out of context. "The Torah is not politically-correct; it is absolutely correct, regardless of the nuances among the various rabbinic opinions of its understanding.

On the other hand, what does not get reported are our positive experiences with its local representatives in the field, working directly with the people, like a young, casual, and approachable rabbi in a café.

The last thing we need are the Tzohars and Beit Hillels to take over and remake it in their own image. Whether they realize it or not, organizations like these will only serve to hasten the realization of the Israeli Supreme Court's Erev Rav agenda, a non-Jewish, quasi-democratic State of Israel, with everyone fooled into believing that it is Jewish.
