It seems to me that this is a lot of ground to cover here, so I will intersperse my Esser Agaroth (2¢) worth, within this piece in blue italics.

Hopefully, you will notice that I will not bother battling Hanan Ashrawi, words against words. I refuse to use her "who was here first" or "who is more racist" or "who is more oppressive" logic.

This is all irrelevant.

PLO official claims that recognizing Israel as a Jewish state would "deny the Palestinians' rights."

Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) official Hanan Ashrawi said on Saturday that Israel's demand that the PA recognize it as a Jewish state is an attempt to “legalize racism,” reports the Ma’an news agency.

Ashrawi, a member of the PLO’s Executive Committee, said that defining Israel as a Jewish state would signify that any Jewish person would have the right to return to “Palestine”, while Palestinian Arabs would lose that right.

Israel wants to "create a narrative that denies the Palestinian presence, rights, and continuity on the historic Palestinian lands," she charged, in a conversation with Ma’an.

Actually, Israel did not create this "narrative." It has already been written down in something called

She also claimed that a "Jewish state" recognition would exempt Israel from its responsibility towards the so-called “Palestinian refugees” who fled their homes in 1948.

1. They fled their homes,...FLED. We have NO responsibility toward them. Furthermore, there were plenty of Israeli Leftists who went out to our borders, begging these "refugees" to stay.

2. They were not "refugees." YOU, with several other Arab nations attacked US, because YOU did not like the United Nations 1947 Partition Plan. YOU did not want the State of Israel to come into existence in the first place, and have been trying to erase it, and the Jewish People, from the map ever since.

3. It does not matter who was here first,...this time, anyway. The Holy One Blessed Be He took it away from the Canaanites, and gave it to Israel. The Canaanites were seven peoples which laid claim to our Land, in spite of The Almighty's wishes, including the Jebusites, of whose identity Yassar Arafat ysh"w  at one time, tried to claim. Of course, he failed to fool anyone with that particular lie.

4. Those so-called "refugees" simply fled from the wrath of The Almighty, saving us, the Jews, the trouble of all of the work involved in the following...

By the way, the last time I checked, Hana Ashrawi was a Christian, and that Christians, too, believe in the truth of the above verses.

I do hope that someone will correct me, if I am mistaken on this point.

The official policy of the PA is to demand repatriation for the descendants of Arabs who fled Israel in 1948 to their original homes in Israel, thus flooding the Jewish state with Arab refugees and effectively erasing Israel from the map, replacing it with a “secular, democratic Palestine.”

The Fatah party, headed by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, has repeatedly stressed that the PA will never give up on the so-called “right of return”.

Abbas had previously made statements indicating that in a peace agreement with Israel he would be willing to give up on this demand, but was quick to cave in to public pressure and retract these claims.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has repeatedly demanded PA recognition of Israel as a Jewish state, noting that the PA’s refusal to recognize Israel is the root of the decades-long conflict.

Not only has Abbas refused to recognize Israel, the PA regularly incites against Israel in official media, even as peace talks have resumed.

What bothers me most about the above is not that it does not paint Ashrawi in the evil light she deserves, (I have already done that for you in the photos above) but rather that points out all too clearly the wishy-washiness of the Israeli Government, and yes, many of its rabbis. 

When will we (and our rabbis) finally stand up and declare that Eretz Yisra'el, ALL of Eretz Yisra'el belongs to us, and NOT to anyone else??!!

When we finally do, I guarantee you that the Arabs will listne, just like in 1948, and 1967, and 1973.

Half-measures, such as in 2006 and 2009, and wimpy, unilateral retreats from The Alimghty's land, not ours to give away, simply confirm the unfortunately accurate Arab assessment of where we sit,...one the proverbial fence.
