I have been following Rabbi Chaim Druckman and his shenanigans over the years. I wondered why on earth he received the "Israel Prize," and most recently his public support for
Now, apparently, Rabbi Druckman has not stopped at kicking down Moti Elon's victims, but has continued this disgusting act by burying their faces in their shame, not to mention risking the safety of his own students at Yeshivath Or Etzion, located near Qiriyath Malachi.
Candidly Speaking from Jerusalem: Bayit Yehudi Cannot Remain Silent Over Rabbi Druckman
Isi Leibler, January 2, 2014
Rabbi Chaim Druckman, one of the most prominent Rabbis within the national religious movement, has responded to Rabbi Mordechai Elon’s conviction on charges of sexually assaulting minors, by employing him as a teacher in the Or Etzion Yeshiva where he serves as the Rosh Yeshiva. This has sent shockwaves through the religious Zionist community. It also poses a serious challenge to the Bayit Yehudi political party.
Naftali Bennet, the head of Bayit Yehudi, ran on a platform which highlighted religious reform. A charismatic personality, he communicates well with secular Israelis and has even succeeded in projecting himself as a trendy liberal. But until now, either from inability or unwillingness, he has failed to confront the tough issues of religious reform.
Bayit Yehudi cannot remain on the sidelines in relation to such a fundamental issue as sexual misconduct within the rabbinic community. If it does not respond appropriately to this latest imbroglio, it will contribute to its own demise. (continue reading)

I will go a step further.
Israel's Chief Rabbinate has been losing its credibility gradually over time. But its loss of credibility has been accelerating fast.
The less credible the Rabbinate becomes, the more religious Jews on the street will turn to the secular courts, believing they will have more of a chance of achieving justice through them, than through the rabbinic courts. This will only add fuel to the fire the Israeli secular courts have already set under the Rabbinate's feet.
Rabbi Yitzhaq Yosef and Rabbi David Lau Israel's Chief Rabbis |
Moti Elon has already been admonished and "punished" by a group of rabbis of his peers. All of this has been reversed over the past through months, single-handedly by Rabbi Druckman.
Not only does the Bayit Yehudi Party have to get its act together, but so does Israel's Chief Rabbinate, which must step in immediately, or else it, too, faces its own demise.

B"H - We live in a time where we have to watch our backs carefully, there is a lot of deception going on.
Yes, most definitely.
Ariel, I could take your comment almost literally to refer to predator male educators desire to sodomize their students, which would be perfect for this subject.
Yet I have a feeling you had some other intent. What is it?
