A Look at the U. S. Border with Mexico

י״ח לחודש הרביעי תשע״ד

Many of you may wonder why I am writing about this, since I have often stated how little I care about what takes place with the U. S., and especially since I renounced my U. S. citizenship a few months ago.

This issue caught me attention, as a dot which could potentially be connected to the dots represented by other events around the world. Just because I generally do not care about what takes place with the U. S., does not mean that we cannot still glean crucial information from what takes place there, from the way the U. S. government operates, and from the quality of the response from the American people,...or lack thereof.

It can also be helpful to keep up to date on events in the U. S., in order to bring them to the attention of all those Jews still imprisoned there spiritually, or in one way or another. Moderate and apparently temporary, levels of fear have repeatedly failed in influencing Jews to leave their current exile. Memories are too short and too occupied with the daily grind, in order to connect the dots. Yet if I can wake up even Jew to the face that the U. S. is the land of his exile, and succeed in reminding him that exile is, in fact, a punishment, then this was all worth it.

As we learn...

Yahoo! News: Rick Perry stands by Obama immigration conspiracy theory
Eric Pfeiffer, July 7, 2014

Texas Gov. Rick Perry repeated an accusation that undocumented children coming to the U.S. from Latin American countries might be a result of “ulterior motives” from President Obama.

“I have to believe that when you don’t respond in any way that you are either inept or you have some ulterior motive of which you are functioning from,” Perry said during an interview Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.”

“I don’t believe he particularly cares whether or not the border of the United States is secure,” Perry said when asked by host Martha Raddatz if he stood by comments made in a June 17 interview with “Fox and Friends.”

“This president, I will suggest, is either totally and absolutely either inept, or making some decisions that are not in the best interests of American citizens,” Perry said during that interview with Fox News.

Perry also suggested that non-Mexicans crossing the U.S.-Mexican border are coming from Middle Eastern countries such as Syria.

“We also have a record high of other than Mexicans being apprehended at the border,” Perry said. “These are people that are coming from states like Syria that have substantial connections back to terrorist regimes.”
Then there was this from an American Four-Star General....
WND: General: Border crisis threatens U.S. existence
Top commander worries about what's 'easily' smuggled in
Drew Zahn, July 6, 2014

...Particularly in regards to the drug trade, murder rates and terrorist activity brewing in Central America, Kelly says, the waves of Latin Americans sweeping through Mexico and illegally into Texas presents a threat to the U.S. every bit as serious as Iran or North Korea...

...“Last year, we had to cancel more than 200 very effective engagement activities and numerous multilateral exercises,” Kelly said, explaining that a full 74 percent of “actionable illicit trafficking events” simply go unanswered, because he doesn’t have the funds or resources to do anything about it.

“I simply sit and watch it go by,” he continued. “And because of service cuts, I don’t expect to get any immediate relief, in terms of assets, to work with in this region of the world.”

Worse yet, he continued, with smuggling routes wide open for business, it’s far more than cocaine or children seeking a better life getting a free pass across the border.

“Clearly, criminal networks can move just about anything on these smuggling pipelines,” Kelly said in testimony before the House Armed Services Committee in February. “Terrorist organizations could seek to leverage those same smuggling routes to move operatives with intent to cause grave harm to our citizens or even quite easily bring weapons of mass destruction into the United States.” (cont.)
Tomer Devorah adds her analysis...
The US has opened its southern border to an invasion force of illegal aliens which the media has now labeled "undocumented immigrants." Word is that this is part of a larger plan to turn America into a North American Union - no more border with Mexico to the south or with Canada to the north. They are being picked up and bused or flown to all parts of the country. There have already been stand-offs in a few places where citizens are trying to stop the onslaught. Maybe this is why the police in the US have been militarized over the past few years. How long until federal drones are raining hellfire on Texas? Esser Agaroth (2¢):
I wonder if the U. S. is being punished "middah ka'neged middah," (measure for measure). While the U. S. pushes Israel in the direction of weakening and irrelevant borders, fading Jewish identity, and ultimate destruction from Arabs both inside and outside of Israel, the U. S. appears to be incurring the very results it wants to impose on us.

The southern border of the U. S. is becoming irrelevant. In addition to the transformation of American society by facilitating the introduction of millions of undocumented workers illegal aliens, greater and greater dangers now appear to be passing through, as mentioned above.

Part of this is simply the U. S. Government's complicity in the globalist agenda, attempting to pull the nationalist carpet out from under the feat of the American people, some of whom do not intend to take this lying down.
(WMD) Radio host Rush Limbaugh led his show Tuesday with stories about the successful pushback against the illegals going on across America.

“Here’s what you do not know,” he said.  “There are towns all over America standing up to this invasion, just like they did in Murrieta, California.  You’re not hearing about it, however, and I am here to tell you why you’re not hearing about it.  Westminster, Maryland, is a town standing up to it, just like Murrieta, California, did. Oracle, Arizona, is standing up to it.

“In Nebraska they’re gonna stand up to it when they find out. The governor is fit to be tied,” Limbaugh continued.  “Upper Michigan, same thing. There are towns all over America standing up to this.  There are protests happening, but they’re not being covered.”
These Americans will no doubt be demonized as racists, in some distorted way, just like Israelis have been demonized.

The U. S. Government's treatment of Israel should not be underestimated as having influence on the consequences of it actions.

Its blatant hypocrisy can only serve to make things worse. Here are some examples.

The belief that the American acquisition of various parts of the southwestern U. S. was less than "kosher," has been gaining prominence.

Won fairly in a war? Through final settlement negotiations?

The addition of the California Republic to the U. S., how consensual was that? That's right. Many do not know this historical fact, but California was an independent state before joining the Union.

Just ask Native Americans living on reservations about "Land For Peace." Some have suffered health problems such as obesity, due to the U. S. Government's gracious food subsides, as in foods running contrary to their dietary needs. I could on for quite some time regarding the damnable treatment by the U. S. government toward those who were residing in North America long before them.

A banner which used to hang from an apartment building in Jerusalem
the corner of King George and Agron Streets

And what about the "encouragement" of the Queen of Hawaii to relinquish her islands to the U. S. Government?

When I was a kid, like every American elementary school student, I learned about the "purchase" of the island of Manhattan from the local Native American tribe for $24 in goods (est. $1,000 today). But, since the Dutch did it, and then the British acquired it from then, and then was included in the lands won by the nacent U. S. A. from the British, that makes it ok.

And, who does not remember the phrase "Manifest Destiny," already a developing concept before America's Revolutionary War? Who else remembers these propaganda educational shorts from the 1970's?

The participation of the U. S. government in the globalist agenda will surely backfire, in one way or another. Having dared to tell Israel what it should or should not do with the our Divinely granted Land will only make things worse for them.

And I will bless them that bless you, and him that curses you I will curse; and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed. (Gen. 12:3)

The U. S. will eventually die. Let's hope that the Jews finally wake up to this fact, and pass the current test presented to them: Coming back to their only true home, in spite of the rockets, in spite of the potential, future rockets with more explosive power, potential future rockets from the North, threats from Iran, and now the self-proclaimed Islamic State of Iraq and Syria [ISIS].

It's an unpleasant situation, to be sure. Hispanics and other immigrants have ruined the United States.

As for the manifest destiny stuff, I never had too much of a moral problem with it. Let's be honest, a lot of the Indians who were displaced had themselves taken the lands that they were on from other Indians. Sadly, we live in an imperfect world that has a great deal of scarcity, and all peoples have historically suffered from land hunger which has led to wars, massacres and ethnic cleansing. I'm not sure that "being there first" is a rock solid claim to ownership of a land, or else that means the Canaanites were right to fight us.

The United States is already past the point of no return. Maybe 25 years ago it's problems could have been addressed, but it's too late now.

I do sometimes wonder if the collapse of the US is part of G-d's plan to force the last of our exiles to return. I will tell you this, the thought of aliyah never once crossed my mind before the 2008 economic crisis when I realized the US was doomed.

Sometimes Jews need a little push to do the right thing. That said, not sure how I feel about bringing 3 million Labor and Yesh Atid voters to Israel.

Everything you and Devash wrote is so correct. One thing not mentioned, unless I missed it, is that these invaders are bringing diseases that the population and medical estab. is unprepared for. Among these invaders are terrorists, drug pushers, murderers and rapists. Already, these creatures are attempting to kidnap females for unmentionable acts. The US may soon have to deal with epidemics and deaths from So American diseases. Not to mention the rampant lice issue. Prayer rugs and other Muslim items have been found in places where they cross over and enter th US. There are air flights from many countries arriving in El Paso, only to begin their trek across the non-border.

Press and Govt officials are not allowed to view what is taking place at he border. There is so much more.

I addressed the "getting there first" myth here.

Interesting that it took 2008 to get you you to consider aliyah. Unfortunately (and fortunately), you're right, giving Jews the particular nudges they need, according to the countries and cultures in which they are located.

I believe there may be some filtering out taking place, either now, or will be soon. IOW, those Labor and Yesh Atid voters who end up coming, probably will not last long as Yesh Atid and Labor voters, if the can see the writing on the wall. Perhaps, their eyes opening will allow them to see the Torah written on the wall, too.

Neshama,

Thanks. And you make very good points. I stayed away from the particulars. But, I believe you are correct.

No wonder why the press and officials are not allowed in.

Haggai Amir has on numerous occasions pointed out that the Israeli media is nothing more the propaganda arm of the regime, and this current war proves it.

It is mind boggling to read piece after piece in the Hebrew press congratulating themselves on the "great victory" the IDF is obtaining when half the country is cowering in bomb shelters.
