דובר הכנסייה הקתולית בישראל, עורך דין פריד ג'ובראן, התייחס באולפן ynet לתיעוד שבו נראה חייל צה"ל מנתץ פסל של ישו בדרום לבנון. הוא אמר: "התפללתי שזה לא אמיתי. האגרסיביות שבתמונה ומה שנובע מהתיעוד הוא מאוד חמור ומטריד. יש דברים שלא עושים - זה היה ממש מקומם". הוא הוסיף כי מדובר ב"חינוך לקוי של הכשרה של לוחמים וחיילים בשטח. כשפוגעים לך במשהו שהוא בנימי נפשך, אי אפשר להישאר אדיש". ג'ובראן הבהיר שהוא מצפה שצה"ל יגנה את האירוע וציין כי החייל אמור להיענש.

רק רגע. האם הם משווים "חילול פסל ישו" עם "חילול שם"? מה הם אומרים בדיוק?

אם הם פשוט אומרים שמעשה זה "חילול השם" מפני שהוא מעצבן ומרגיז 30 אחוז מאוכלוסיית כדור הארץ שלנו, אז הם צריכים לפטר את עורך החדשות ולחפש עורך חדש.

מייסד Israel365, הרב טולי וייס, שארגונו עובד מדי יום עם נוצרים פרו-ישראלים ברחבי העולם, אמר שהוא מרגיש מחויב לפעול באופן מיידי. "כמי שעובד בשיתוף פעולה הדוק עם נוצרים פרו-ישראלים מדי יום, נחרדתי ממעשה חוסר כבוד שכזה כלפי חבריה הקרובים של ישראל וידעתי שעלינו להגיב באופן מיידי."

כלומר, הוא נחרד מהשמדת פסל של עבודה זרה? יש אפילו אוונגליסטים שמזלזלים בפסלים. נכון, אפשר לומר אותנו חיים במתב של "יד הגויים תקיפה", תחת איום מצד לא יהודים, אפילו שאנחנו מתגוררים בארץ.

היה אפשר להפחית את כוח האיום הזה בעבר, אם שמרנו את המצווה הזו:

לֹא-תַטֶּה מִשְׁפָּט, לֹא תַכִּיר פָּנִים; וְלֹא-תִקַּח שֹׁחַד--כִּי הַשֹּׁחַד יְעַוֵּר עֵינֵי חֲכָמִים, וִיסַלֵּף דִּבְרֵי צַדִּיקִם. (דברים טז,יט)

לֹא תַכִּיר פָּנִים: לא לכבד אחד שעומד לפניך יותר מהשני.

רש״י: משקבל שחד ממנו אי אפשר שלא יטה את לבו אצלו להפוך בזכותו.

פסוק זה מדבר על שופטים, על חכמים ועל צדיקים. לכן, אלו שאינם יושבים בדין צריכים להזהר עוד יותר.

הם בוודאי נואשים, שכן הם כוללים את כנסת הרבנים (התנועה הקונסרבטיבית) בישראל, את התנועה המסורתית (התנועה הקונסרבטיבית) בישראל, כמה בתי כנסת קונסרבטיביים ואת הרפורמים.

למעשה, הם קוראים למנהיגים רוחניים קונסרבטיביים ורפורמיים "רבנים". אני תוהה למה הם השמיטו את הריקונסטרוקציוניסטים. האם בסופו של דבר מעריצי נוצרים הללו יעודדו את קבלת נשים כרבנים? או שהם פשוט מנצלים את מי שאפשר לגייס למען מטרתם?

לקונסרבטיבים ולרפורמים יש תירוץ. הם גלובליסטים בעצם, ומעודדים את ההתבוללות, בין אם הם מבינים שזה מה הם עושים ובין אם לא. הם דוגמאות טובות של מה קורה בגלותנו של אדום (עשיו / המערב). לכן, הם מונחים על ידי רגשותיהם. הם נמצאים עמוק בחשיבה גלותית, בניגוד להבנה האמיתית של גאולה. אפשר לומר שהם כתינוקות שנשבו.

אני מניח שגם "לדתיים" ברשימת החותמים הזו יש תירוץ. אבל רק לאלה שמתגוררים בגלות. כל עוד הם בגלות, כלומר, בחו״ל, אין להם ברירה אלא להסתדר עם מארחיהם הנכרים. אבל אני לא בטוח שהם מבדילים בין מקום מגוריהם בחו״ל לבין ארץ ישראל.

לצערנו, רבים מהם לא מתיחסים לשכנים הגויים שלהם כמארחים בארצות המקלט הזמניות. אלא כשותפים בבניית מדינות אלה. הם מזדהים כחברים בחברה שלהם. הם מאמינים שהמדינות האלה גם שלהם.

יותר גרוע מכך, יש רבנים "דתיים" ברשימה זו ששוכחים שהם בגלות, או שגלות היא משהו שונה מאוד ממה שהיא באמת, או שמבחינתם גלותם לא באמת העונש.

אלה שלא ברשימה זו, ומאמינים שהמשיח יבוא וידאג להכל שזקוק לתיקון, אני לא מדבר עליכם. אלא אני מתייחס לאלה שמזדהים כציונים, אך אין להם שום כוונה לעלות למולדתם האמיתית היחידה.

בכל פעם שאני חושב שיהודים האלה כבר השתגעו כמה שאפשר הם מפתיעים אותי בכך שהם מוצאים דרך להשתגע עוד. כלומר. השקפתם הופכת להיות יותר קיצונית.

רבנים אלה בוודאי יודעים שהמילים האלה בספר ויקרא (יט,יח) הן רק חלק הסופי של הפסוק...

...וְאָהַבְתָּ לְרֵעֲךָ כָּמוֹךָ: אֲנִי, יְהוָה....

הפסוק מתחיל ב...

לֹא-תִקֹּם וְלֹא-תִטֹּר אֶת-בְּנֵי עַמֶּךָ,...

עַמֶּךָ: עם ישראל.

כלומר, פסוק זה מורה לישראל איך אנחנו אמורים להתייחס אחד לשני, איך עלינו להתייחס לאחינו היהודים. איך אנחנו צריכים להתייחס לגויים זו סוגיה שונה לגמרי.

"פרשנות יצירתית" כזו היא מה שאנו מצפים מתנועה הרפורמית, כפי שהיא ידועה בכך שצועקת ״צֶדֶק צֶדֶק, תִּרְדֹּף״ (דברים טז,כ), ללא הקשר שאר הפסוק ״לְמַעַן תִּחְיֶה וְיָרַשְׁתָּ אֶת־הָאָרֶץ, אֲשֶׁר־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לָךְ.״. וגם רבים מהם מאמינים שכל פעם המילה גֵּר מופיעה תורה היא אומרת גוי.

כמובן, רבים היהודים שאוהבים את הנוצרים, מאמינים ש"כִּי בֵיתִי, בֵּית־תְּפִלָּה יִקָּרֵא לְכָל־הָעַמִּים" (ישעיהו נו,ז) אומרת לנו שבסדר גמור לעודד לנכרים לעלות להר הבית, בידיעה ברורה שהם יתפללו ליש״ו (ימח שמו וזכרו). אולי כדאי לי לדון ביהודים האלה בכף זכות, ולהניח שהם פספסו את העדות שחבריהם הנוצרים לא מתפללים לאלוהים בשיתוף אל ליושקה (יש״ו) ישירות.

בהחלט, אני לא מעודד אף אחד להסתובב ולהרוס את פסלי אלוהות-שקר של אף מיעוט דתי, בגלל מסיבות שונות. 

אבל, אני מסרב לשבת בשקט ולא קורא לילד בשמו האמיתי.

כִּי-אִם-כֹּה תַעֲשׂוּ, לָהֶם--מִזְבְּחֹתֵיהֶם תִּתֹּצוּ, וּמַצֵּבֹתָם תְּשַׁבֵּרוּ; וַאֲשֵׁירֵהֶם, תְּגַדֵּעוּן, וּפְסִילֵיהֶם, תִּשְׂרְפוּן בָּאֵשׁ.(דברים ז,ה)

But thus you shall deal with them: you shall break down their altars, and dash their pillars in pieces, and hew down their Asherim, and burn their graven images with fire. (Deut. 7:5)

The spokesman for the Catholic Church in Israel, attorney Wadie Abunassar, addressed the footage showing an IDF soldier smashing a statue of Jesus in southern Lebanon in the Ynet studio. He said: "I prayed it wasn't real. The aggression in the image and what emerges from the footage is very severe and disturbing. There are things you don't do – this was truly revolting." He added that this is about "poor education and training of fighters and soldiers in the field. When something that is in the depths of your soul is harmed, you cannot remain indifferent." Abunassar clarified that he expects the IDF to condemn the incident and noted that the soldier should be punished.

Over 100 rabbis and Jewish leaders from across the denominational spectrum sign letter calling the act a “desecration of God’s name” and apologizing to Christians worldwide

What a minute. Are they equating "desecration of Jesus statue" with “desecration of God’s name?” What exactly are they suggesting?

If they are just saying it is a “desecration of God’s name” because of the uproar caused, upsetting 30 percent of the our planet's population, then they need to fire their news editor, and get a new one.

Here is a sampling of the signatories to the letter:

And last but not least...

• Rabbi Tuly Weisz, Israel365

Israel365 founder Rabbi Tuly Weisz, whose organization works daily with pro-Israel Christians around the world, said he felt compelled to act immediately. “As someone who works closely with pro-Israel Christians every day, I was appalled by such an act of disrespect to Israel’s closest friends and knew that we needed to respond immediately.”

In other words, he was appalled at the destruction of an idol. Hey. There are even Evangelicals frown upon statuary. True, we could be classified as living in a time of יד הגויים תקיפה, under threat from non-Jews, even while in Israel.

This threat could be lessened, albeit probably not erased entirely, if we heeded another verse in Torah:

לֹא-תַטֶּה מִשְׁפָּט, לֹא תַכִּיר פָּנִים; וְלֹא-תִקַּח שֹׁחַד--כִּי הַשֹּׁחַד יְעַוֵּר עֵינֵי חֲכָמִים, וִיסַלֵּף דִּבְרֵי צַדִּיקִם. (דברים טז,יט)

You shall not wrest judgment; you shalt not respect persons; neither shall you take a gift; for a gift does blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous. (Deut. 16:19)

Respect persons = one over another.

Gift = bribe.

Rashi: When one receives a bribe from him, it is impossible not to incline one's heart to turn to him in his favor.

This verse refers to judges, the wise, and the righteous. So, those who are not sitting in judgment should be even more careful.

They must really be desperate, since they include the Rabbinical Assembly (Conservative Movement) in Israel, the Masorti (Conservative) Movement in Israel, some Conservative Synagogues, and the Reform.

In fact, they refer to Conservative and Reform spiritual leaders as "rabbis." I wonder why they left out the Reconstructionists. Will these Judeo-Christians be advocating for female rabbis next? Or are they just exploiting whomever, and whatever resources they can enlist?

The Conservatives and Reform have an excuse. They are essentially globalists, and advocates for assimilation, whether they realize it or not. They are true products of our Exile in Edom (Esau / The West). So, they really cannot know any better. They are guided by their feelings. They are steeped in an exilic mindset, resistant to the true understanding of Geulah (Redemption).

I suppose that the "orthodox" individuals on this list of signatories also have an excuse, but only those residing in exile. As long as they are in exile, they have to get along with their non-Jewish hosts. I cannot be certain, though, that they differentiate between where they live and Israel.

Unfortunately, many of them do not see non-Jews as their hosts, while in their countries of our temporary refuge. Rather they see themselves as their partners in building up those countries. They seem themselves as full members of these non-Jewish societies. They see these countries as their own.

Worse yet, there are those "orthodox" rabbis on this list either forgotten that they are in exile, or that exile is something very different than it really is, or that their exile is not really the punishment.

Those who are not on this list, and who believe that Mashi'ah (Messiah) will come and take care of everything, I am not talking about you. I am mostly referring to those identifying themselves as Zionists, yet who would never think to relocate to their only true homeland.

Every time I think the usual suspects cannot go further off the edge, they surprise me by finding a way to go that extra few inches.

These rabbis surely know that these words from Lev. 19:18 only make up the end of the verse...

...וְאָהַבְתָּ לְרֵעֲךָ כָּמוֹךָ: אֲנִי, יְהוָה....

...but thou shalt love thy neighbor as yourself....

This verse actually begins...

לֹא-תִקֹּם וְלֹא-תִטֹּר אֶת-בְּנֵי עַמֶּךָ,...

You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people...

Your people = Israel.

In other words, this verse is referring to how Israel must relate to each other, how we are to relate to our fellow Jews. How we are to relate to non-Jews is a different issue entirely.

This is the kind of "creative interpretation," we have come to expect from the Reform Movement, as it well-known for doing to צֶדֶק צֶדֶק, תִּרְדֹּף Justice, justice, you shall pursue (Deut. 16:20), leaving off the rest of the verse, in order that you shall live, and inherit the land that the Lord your God has given you. Another example is that many of them believe that the word גֵּר stranger, signifies any non-Jew, anytime it appears in the Torah.

Of course, many of the Jewish, Christian-lovers believe that "House of Prayer for all nations" (Isaiah 56:7) means it is just fine to encourage non-Jews to ascend the Temple Mount, knowing full well that they will be praying to Jesus (may his name and memory be blotted out). Perhaps I should give them the benefit of the doubt, and assume they missed the memo regarding their Christian allies praying to Yoshke directly, and not through him as an intercessor.

For various reasons, I am certainly not encouraging anyone to go around destroying a religious minority's idols.

But, I refuse to sit silently, and not call a spade, a spade.

...בין המגנים את מעשי ישראל היום היה גם שר החוץ האיטלקי אנטוניו טאיאני, שביקש להביע הזדהות עם הפטריארך והקוסטוס: "לא מקובל שנמנע מהם להיכנס לכנסיית הקבר בירושלים. לראשונה, משטרת ישראל מנעה ממנהיגי הכנסייה הקתולית את האפשרות לחגוג את מיסת יום ראשון של הדקלים באחד המקומות הקדושים ביותר למיליוני מאמינים ברחבי העולם. הוריתי מיד לשגרירנו בישראל להביע את מחאת הממשלה בפני רשויות תל אביב ולאשר את עמדת איטליה בהגנה, בכל עת ובכל הנסיבות, על חופש הדת". שגריר גרמניה בישראל שטפן זייברט מסר כי "זה כואב לכל הנוצרים. הסולידריות שלנו עם הפטריארך והקוסטוס"....

עשר אגורות (2¢):
אז הנה המילים שאף אחד לא רוצה לומר בקול רם: בישראל לא אמור להיות חופש הדת.

אַבֵּד תְּאַבְּדוּן אֶת-כָּל-הַמְּקֹמוֹת אֲשֶׁר עָבְדוּ-שָׁם הַגּוֹיִם, אֲשֶׁר אַתֶּם יֹרְשִׁים אֹתָם--אֶת-אֱלֹהֵיהֶם: עַל-הֶהָרִים הָרָמִים וְעַל-הַגְּבָעוֹת, וְתַחַת כָּל-עֵץ רַעֲנָן. (דברים יב,ב)

*כל מי שטוען שמצווה זו מדברת אך ורק על שבעת עמי כנען, כלומר הכנעני, החתי, האמורי, החווי, הפרזי, היבוסי והגרגשי, מוזמן ללחוץ כאן ללמוד עוד עליה.

לא. אני לא מציע את הריסת כנסיות בישראל כיום. אני פשוט רושם דוגמה לחוסר הסובלנות של התורה כלפי דתות פרט לשמירת תורה ומצוות של היהדות בארץ ישראל, למרות האמונות הקסומות של יהודים הסובלים ממחלת תלות שותפית, שמתלהבים ומעריצים ו את האהבה ואישור הקיום שהם מקבלים מחבריהם הנוצרים לכאורה.

לאלו שאוהבים לצטט פסקי הלכה של המאירי ורבנו גרשון מחוץ להקשר, אני מזכיר לכם שכוונתם היא כלפי החיים והמסחר של היהודיים באירופה, כלומר, בגולה. בארץ ישראל המצב ואז יישום ההלכה שונה לגמרי.

בואו נשים את זה בצד בינתיים. ואם ברצונכם ללמוד על ההלכה בארץ ישראל אז ללחוץ כאן.

אפילו לרבנים רבים שמסכימים בסתר שהנצרות אינה כשרה, חסר האומץ להצהיר את הסיבה ההלכתית היחידה שמאפשרת לנוצרים להכנס לארץ ישראל ללא רסן: ש כיום אנו בזמן שיד הגויים תקיפה. ולכן אינם במצב שמאפשר לאכוף את כל המצוות התורה נגד לגבי עבודה זרה. (משנה תורה, הלכות עבודת זרה י, ט [ו]).

זה לא פוטר יהודים מלתמוך, ואף לעודד, נוצרים להתיישב בארץ ישראל, לבנות מזבחות ולעבוד אלוהות-שקר.

תפילה בשיתוף מותר לגויים, אתם טוענים? כל סוג של כפירה בתורה אינה מקובלת בארץ ישראל. וכשיגיע הזמן להציע להתיר לגויים להתגורר ארץ כגרי תושב, אז הם יצטרכו לקבל את האמת של כל התורה כולה.

ללחוץ כאן כדי להקשיב לנוצרי אחד, שמשפחתו נמצאת בארץ, מסביר כיצד הוא מתפלל ישירות למשיח השקר שלו.

אולי אנחנו צריכים לאסיר תודה על כך שמנעו את אירוע שנתי חשוב מאוד לגויים של העבודה הזרה וחילול השם... גם אם שלא התכוונו. אבל, רגע!

הרשויות מנעו את כניסת הפטריארך הלטיני של ירושלים לכנסיית הקבר בעיר, על מנת לקיים בה את תפילת "מיסת יום ראשון של הדקלים" - ומחאה התעוררה על כך בכנסייה הקתולית • "מתוך כוונה לאפשר לכלל העדות הנוצריות את חופש הפולחן בכנסיית הקבר", מסרה המשטרה, "אושר מתווה תפילה מצומצם" לידור סולטן, 30.03.2026

רה״מ נתניהו אפילו ניסה להסביר להם על המצב באופן הגיוני.

נתניהו אמר שהמקומות הקדושים בירושלים תחת איומים לאחרונה, וציין כי "במכה אחת, רסיסי רקטות התרסקו מטרים מכנסיית הקבר". המשטרה גם ציינה את "המציאות הביטחונית המורכבת של מבצע ׳אריה שואג׳", והוסיפה כי "טילים ופסולת איראניים פגעו בתוך העיר העתיקה".

רשויות הכנסייה תיארו את ההחלטה הראשונית כ"תקדים חמור", ואמרו שזו "הפעם הראשונה מזה מאות שנים" שאנשי דת בכירים נמנעו מלקיים מיסת* יום ראשון של הדקלים באתר. בהצהרה מאוחרת יותר, אמר הפטריארכיה כי הנושא "טופל ונפתר" והביע "תודה כנה" לנשיא יצחק הרצוג על מעורבותו. (i24)

הרצוג? אין כאן הפתעה. אומרים שאביו, הרב הראשי הראשון של ישראל, יצחק הלוי הרצוג, על כך אמר כי:

"אחת הסיבות לכך שהאו"ם נתן לנו רשות להקים את מדינת ישראל, היא שחובתנו לתת חופש לכל הדתות ולהגן על המקומות הקדושים של כל הדתות."

עם כל הכבוד לרב הראשי הראשון של ישראל, מאז מתי יש לגויים זכות להשתתף בדיוני הלכה?

אין הם.

האם השבע לנו האו"ם את ארץ ישראל, או השבע לנו הקב"ה את ארץ ישראל?

This does not excuse Jews from supporting, even encouraging, Christians to settle in the Land of Israel, build altars, and worship.

Praying through an intercessor is acceptable for non-Jews, you say? Any form of kefirah (denial of Torah) is unacceptable within the Land of Israel. And when the time comes to offer non-Jews the opportunity to reside here as gerei toshav (resident aliens), they will have to accept the truth of the entire Torah.

"One of the reasons the UN gave us permission to establish the state of Israel, was our duty to give freedom to all religions and to protect the holy sites of all religions."

With all due respect to Israel's first Chief Rabbi, since when are non-Jews involved in discussions of halakha (Torah Law)?

They are not.

Did the UN grant us the Land of Israel, or did The Holy One, Blessed Be He?

I have never understood why Jews wish non-Jews happiness or blessings on their holidays in Israel. Do they realize what it is they are supporting when they do so? Do they actually believe that the literary figure of Yesh"u (Yoshke), and that he was resurrected after death? Do they actually believe that Muhammed divinely received the Quran? Do they realize that beliefs in such events directly contradict the Torah?

I am not so sure that they do.

Now, "freedom of religious expression for all," now that's an easy one to understand. Propping up such freedom, helps to insure that the Erev Rav and its minions can to do whatever it wants, and proceed on the path of achieving its objectives: the battle against the Torah, and the destruction of the Jewish People through assimilation, intermarriage, and sacrifices to war.

I knew there was a reason for the timing of the release of the movie Conclave, a thriller centered around the Vatican's process of selecting a new pope.

Coincidence? Or were they expecting the death of the 88 year old pope in ill health, sooner than later. This pope's views were, at times, considered controversial by Catholics. I will let the conservative and liberal Catholics discuss amongst themselves about that.

Here I will address the leader of the Catholic Church, as he relates to Israel.

Following the last consistory in December 2024, [liberal] Pope Francis created 21 new cardinals, while 23 were created by [very conservative] Pope Benedict XVI and five by [conservative] Pope John Paul II.

Pope Francis created cardinals from 72 different countries, and 24 of those nations have never had a cardinal before. (Sky News) With the new additions, the pope will have created 110 of the 140 cardinals under the age of 80 permitted to choose his successor. (Deutche Welle)

So, did Francis only appoint those sharing his vision for the Catholic Church? If so, anyone of his ilk would have a huge advantage.

Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Italian, Vatican diplomat, 70.
A punters' favourite, Parolin is seen as a compromise candidate between progressives and conservatives. He has been a Church diplomat for most of his life and served as Pope Francis' secretary of state since 2013, the year Francis was elected. (Reuters)

Not sure how they can say that he is a compromise candidate, when Sky News reports that he as a close ally of the dead pope.

Jean-Marc Aveline, archbishop of Marseille, French, aged 66.
Aveline is known for his folksy, easy-going nature, his readiness to crack jokes, and his ideological proximity to Francis, especially on immigration and relations with the Muslim world.

He would also be the youngest pope since John Paul II (Reuters).

OK. So, he's a globalist. Well, all representatives of The Vatican are globalists. Isn't that the ultimate goal? Making everyone in the world Catholic? Maybe they'll leave the Eastern Orthodox factions alone... for now. Nevertheless, they believe they are bearers of the truth, and are on a mission, just like the Evangelical Christians.

The College of Cardinals does not really care for popes on the young side. If they do not like his vision and associated changes he makes to Church policy, they will have to suffer all the longer. Funny, isn't the pope considered to be infallible, or at least he makes statement ex cathedra (from the throne).

Don't you love Latin phrases? They remind me of , But more importantly, it should remind us of our current, and אי״ה (if The Almighty pleases), our last, exile, the exile of Edom (Esau / Rome). Too bad more Jews cannot take the hint.

The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem was made a cardinal by Pope Francis two years ago.

He has devoted himself to the Middle East, facing several crises, including the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

On 16 October 2023, he condemned Hamas' actions as barbaric and offered himself as a hostage in exchange for captive Israeli children held in Gaza during the 2023 Israel–Hamas war.

OK. But...

Pizzaballa has advocated for an end to the 2023 Israel–Hamas War and the Israeli occupation of Palestine. Pizzaballa was a signatory to the "Statement on the Escalating Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza" which condemned attacks on civilians, called for de-escalation and called for humanitarian aid to enter Gaza. His statement was criticized by Israeli foreign minister Eli Cohen.

Did he call on citizens to stop collaborating with Hamas? did he call on citizens to report on Hamas taking the humanitarian aid meant for them?

Of course, Pizzaballa knows the Bible, and so he knows that the Land of Israel was divinely promised to the People of Israel, and not to Ishmael and his descendants (Arabs / Muslims).

So, that was then, this is now? Well, it would not be the first time Christians changed the rules and understanding of the Bible, beginning around 2,000 years ago, and thanks to none other than... Jews. These Jews rejected the authority of the Oral Torah. You know, like the Sadducees before them, then the  Karaites, the Reform Movement, etc.

The Sanhedrin under the leadership of Raban Gamliel even added a blessing to our Amidah, our standing prayer that we pray three times a day on regular weekdays, in which we refer to them as minim (heretics), malshinim (informers, as in rats), or meshumadim (apostates). Of course, we also condemn them in this prayer.

Christians believe that they are the true inheritors of The Almighty's favor, and thus the Land of Israel as well. They believe that their false deity/messiah will come and sort everything out for them. So, what do they care who currently has control of the Land? Better to go with the politically-correct, terrorists, in the meantime.

Sure, Jews are exempt from doing anything about this outside of the Land of Israel (A-hem!), and today probably even within Israel. But are we still in the position where we have to console the millions of followers of a false deity?

The Orthodox Union appears to answer this question for us. And the answer is yes.

Maybe I'm late to the party. But, I was just made aware of a dance challenge video clip making the rounds. It can be viewed by clicking here, if you must. I refuse to embed it on Esser Agaroth (2¢), both due to its Christian message and to the immodest dancers presented in it.

Why is this video being sent around by Jews? Is this being propped up as some sort of positive PR for Israel and Jerusalem? Hasbara?

You need to know that this video is not about that. Didn't anyone bother to read the lyrics? Irregardless of the composer's original intentions, from my perspective, this song is a reminder that everyone wants a piece of Jerusalem, and that many believe it should be an international city, just like the United Nations (and Erev Rav) has always wanted it to be. The Vatican, Christian Orthodox, Evangelicals, Muslims, Africans laying claim to Israel, and of course, so called progressives and globalists ALL want a piece of Jerusalem, if not all of it for themselves, and that includes the Temple Mount, I might add.

Jerusalema song by Master KG and Nomcebo is a true Gospel song. The key meaning to the song is that ” Jerusalema is my home, (Lord) guide me, walk with me, do not leave me here. (Gumbaza)

South African dance worship song “Jerusalema” has hit 124 Million views and numerous international copy dance videos around the world. Understanding the lyrics can help you can worship God with the song as well as enjoying the tune and dance. In context, the singer speaks of ‘Jerusalem’ as the heavenly city, which is her true home she is looking forward to. She asks God to walk with her and protect her until he takes her home to heaven.... (Joy News) (I refuse to post the Christian doctrine which follows.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Metaphor for the Christian version of the afterlife or not, there is absolutely no reason for any Jew to enjoy, praise, distribute, nor even exploit this song as positive PR for Israel or Jerusalem.

This is song is not about how wonderful Jerusalem is, in the hands of the Jews it was Divinely promised to. It is about non-Jews possessing it, physically, spiritually, metaphorically.

Take your pick.

If this does not touch you, then the song's basis in avodah zarah (foreign worship) should. It is forbid to receive any benefit from avodah zarah whatsoever.

I emphasize that my issue is not with the writer or the singer of this song. Christians do what Christian do, much like their ancient progenitor Esau did. Rather, I am rebuking my fellow Jews who participated, albeit most probably did not know any better, especially now right before Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year).

And needless to say, this is how many Christian denominations pray, with palms together like this. And even if this is not exactly avodah zarah (foreign worship), it is indeed a non-Jewish custom and without a doubt these are just the kind of things which lead us along the road to assimilation.

Why not say Shalom in the first place? In my opinion, to say "Namaste" is very popular in the world today. And in our collective psychological (and spiritual?) state as Jews, we often prefer to seek acceptance from non-Jews rather than accepting ourselves. This is a symptom of co-dependence.

Some Jews are quite happy to be accepted as one of the non-Jewish nations of the world.

אחרי שאני קראתי את ״The Light of Chanukkah״ על ידי דניאל גרינפילד (סולטן קניש) הומרצתי לכתוב את ההערות האלה.

אני שמח לקרוא מאמר שנזכר בו בפועל שיהודים לחמו ביהודים במלחמה לקראת חנוכה. אני גם שמח שאחדים מזכירים שהמלחמה הייתה נגד ההתבוללות. אבל, המלחמה הזו היתה ממש יותר מזה.

כיום יהודים אוהבים להציג מצג שווא את המלחמה הזו כמאבק למען החופש לנהוג לפי כל דת שרוצים. אבל, זאת לא היתה הכוונה של המלחמה הזו. אלא נלחמנו במלחמה זו למען חירות עם ישראל לשמור תורה ומצוות בארץ מולדתנו, ולא למען שום מטרה פלורליסטית. המלחמה החלה לא רק במעשה התרסה, אלא בהרג יהודי שביצע מעשה של עבודה זרה. ואין צריך לומר שמעשה הזה להרוג יהודי כדי להפסיק אותו מלעבוד לפי רצונו ולדבר על זה לא מקובל באופן פוליטי.

המילה ״תורה״ לא נזכרת במאמר הזה. אני לא יודע למה לא נזכרת בו ולא יודע את המניעים של מי שכותב אותו. כמו שכתבתי כבר, המאמר שלו פשוט עודד אותי לכתוב את ההערות האלה ואין לי שום כוונה לבקר אותו. אולי המילה ״תורה״ נעדרת בגלל רצון של הכותב אותו שקהל רחב ככל האפשר יוכלו לקלוט ולקבל את המסר שלו. או מפני שהמילה "תורה" מפחידה יהודים מתבוללים ומונעת אותם מלקרוא את קטע כזה בכלל.יהודים כאלה רגילים לעשות את מה שהם רוצים לעשות ולא מעניין אותם את רצון הקב"ה. וברור יש יהודים שאין להם שום מושג שהם מתבוללים. והרבה מהם משוכנעים על ידי הרבנים המזויפים שלהם שמה שהם רוצים ומה שהקב"ה רוצה הם אותם הדברים.

האמת היא היהודים האלה לא מציגים באופן שגוי את חג חנוכה ואת המלחמה שקדמה לה. אלא הם פשוט מעולם לא למדו את הסיפורים הנכונים של החג מלכתחילה. זאת אומרת שיקרו להם.

I am happy to see someone actually mentioning that Jews fought Jews in the war leading up to Hanukkah. I am also glad that some mentions that the war was against assimilation. But, it was much more than that.

Jews love to misrepresent this war as into one of fighting for religious freedom. But, it wasn't at all. We fought this war for the freedom of Jews to observe the Torah in their own homeland, and not for any pluralistic free for all. The war began with not just an act of defiance, but the killing of a Jew committing an act of avdoah zarah (foreign worship), needless to say a politically-incorrect act in so many ways.

I do not see the explicit mention of Torah in this piece. I cannot say what the author's motivations are. As I said, his piece serves only as a prompt here, and no criticism toward it is intended.

Perhaps absence of the word Torah was that that the author wants to reach as broad an audience as possible. Or that that word "Torah" is too frightening for assimilated Jews to read, assimilated even they do not realize that they are assimilated. Such Jews are too used to doing what they want, instead of trying to do what The Almighty wants. Some are even convinced by their clergy members that what they want is what The Almighty wants.

These Jews are not actually misrepresenting Hanukkah and the preceding war. They were simply never taught the holiday's correct origins in the first place. In other words, they were lied to.

בתגובה, אני מספר לכם סיפור. לפני יותר מעשרים שנים, הרב מרדכי אליהו זצ"ל נכנס למקווה בשכונת גבעת שאול בערב שבת. הוא נהג להגיע מוקדם עם השמשים שלו כדי לשמור על הפרטיות שלו. בערב השבת הזה בדרך לצאת מבית המקווה, הוא אמר לבלן להוריד את המגבת הנמצאת בקבלה.

הבלן לא רצה להתווכח עם הרב הזה, קו"ח הרב הראשי לישראל הספרדי (הראשון לציון) לשעבר. אבל הוא גם רצה לדעת את הסיבה של הרב.

ואז הוא שאל את הרב למה צריכים להוריד את זה. הרב אמר יש צלב מודפס על המגבת. הבלן הגיב שבמגבת אין צלב אלא עיצוב תשבצים של צלב.

הרב הגיב, "זה צלב. תוריד את זה." ואז הבלן הוריד את המגבת והרב יצא.

ולכן, אני חוזר. האם אתם רוצים את הילדים שלכם להסתובב מלובשים בחולצה עם סמליל כזה?

According to the Yeru-Shahmat website, this club's objectives do not seem to be political at all. They just want to play chess.

Now, look at their logo. Would you want your children to walk around a shirt with a logo like this?

Surely some of you will ask, "What's the problem? It's not a cross... exactly."

In response I will recount to you a story I heard directly from the men's miqwah (mikveh - ritual immersion pool) attendant. More than 20 years ago, Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu ztz"l (pictured above) came to his local miqwah in the Givat Shaul neighborhood in Jerusalem on Erev Shabboth. He was accustomed to arriving early with his shamashim (attendants), so as to maintain his privacy. On this particular Erev Sabboth, upon leaving the miqwah, Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu told the miqwah attendant to take down the towel that was hanging in the entryway.

The miqwah attendant did not want to argue with the rabbi, even more so the for Chief Sepharadi Rabbi of Israel (AKA: Rishon leTzion). But he also wanted to know the rabbi's reasoning.

So, the miqwah attendant asked the rabbi why this towel needed to be taken down. Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu said that there was a cross printed on the towel. The miqwah attendant responded that there wasn't actually a cross printed on the towel. Rather it was a design of interlocking crosses.

Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu then said, "It's a cross. Take it down." And then he left the miqwah.

And so, I ask again, "Would you want your children to walk around a shirt with a logo like this?"

One more question: What do you think about the "coexistence"  message implied in this logo?

A Christian Invoking Rabbi Meir Kahane's Name?

Arutz 7 (Israel National News): Israeli Court ouster of Ben-Ari paves way for future Draconian rulings
Wake up, people in the late great State of Israel!

Meir David HaKohen Kahane lives! And he's affecting politics from the grave as Israel's highest court in an unprecedented move rubbed salt in the murdered Rabbi’s wounds by allowing radical anti-Zionist Arab parties Balad and the United Arab List on the ballot while banning Kahane-supporter Michael Ben-Ari. 

Never mind that these approved parties support terrorism and want to see Israel cease from being a nation, the court-of-last-resort somehow summonsed other-world 'wisdom' saying, "Vote for anyone you want other than who we don't want you to vote for.”
The court apparently didn’t want to be confused with the fact that Dr. Ben-Ari is a former Knesset member of good standing whose views haven’t changed. They ousted him anyway, just three weeks before elections. 

For what? Making comments critical of Arabs and committing the 'unpardonable sin' of 'daring' to post on Facebook that Israel must oppose terrorism. It’s a throwback to the scene in Casablanca where policeman Captain Louis Renault mustered feigned outrage over ‘discovering’ that there was gambling in Rick's Cafe, despite the fact that he was one of Rick’s regular gambling patrons. 

Following the selective demonization of Netanyahu's alleged 'high crimes,' this court decision paves the way for a potential paradigm shift in the future Israel--if it’s allowed have a future.

It doesn't take a lot of imagination for anyone with a pulse to figure out what type of future Supreme Court justices the regime might confirm. Verdict in: No more Israel? No more problem. 

Ah, all in the name of 'free and fair' elections in what might become the late great state of Israel. 

Between the witch hunt against Netanyahu and the injection of land-for-false-peace Knesset members, anti-Zionist terrorists must be licking their chops. Oh, my, did I just commit a hate crime--for hating hate and loving Israel?

I have mixed feelings commenting on this piece. For one, it's from Artuz 7. But hey, if A7 is the only source carrying a particular piece, what's a guy to do? And, second, I don't like giving these people, like the author of this piece, free publicity. Sometimes it's better just to ignore them. They really hate that.

"Meir David HaKohen Kahane lives!"

First off, Gerald, that's RABBI Meir David HaKohen Kahane. (sigh)Yes, he mentions "rabbi" soon after. Nevertheless it is appropriate to include his title at the first mention of his name.

Now, what exactly does Gerald McGlothlin mean by this statement? When Jews say it, we mean that his Torah ideas are alive. But, when McGlothlin says it, does he mean "alive" as in Christian messianic mythological alive? Or does he mean Rabbi Kahane's influence? Now that I point this out, I wonder how he would respond. Any guesses?

And his next statement? "And he's affecting politics from the grave..." Just a metaphor? Or a suggestion of something else?

"But, isn't he right?" you may be asking. Irrelevant. That is not the point of this post.

And besides [in times when Jews maintain control over the Land of Israel] one may not speak about such individuals with praise.

Oh, and how do I know that he is a Christian? Google him. The description of the YouTube channel he is associated with is more than enough for me.

Great State? Nowhere in the Torah does it mention a state. It does mention kings, as well as the Sanhedrin, ואין צריך לומר the Land. And so, I am not insulted by the concern that the State might be "late." Eventually, we will have a Kingdom.

My only question is this: Is McGlothlin simply one of those Christians who believes in pushing along his mythological beliefs, which include events pertaining to Jews, and their actions? Or is he one of those who believes that Christians will, one way or another, eventually reside in the Land of Israel, and are even entitled to do so?

"But, didn't Rabbi Kahane speak to Christians and even go on Christian talk radio?" you may be asking.  Irrelevant. Christian strategies have changed drastically, just like their predecessor Esau changed his strategies in the Torah, and his descendants have continued to do so through out history, in order to overpower Ya'aqov (Israel).

סאטורנליה (בלטינית: Saturnalia) הייתה הפסטיבל שצוין בלוחות השנה הרומאיים ב-17 בדצמבר, חגו של האל הרומאי סאטורנוס. הסאטורנליה הייתה מחגי רומא הידועים ביותר – ואולי אף הפופולרי שבהם: המשורר הרומאי קטולוס קרא לו "סאטורנליה, הטוב שבימים!"‏ (Catulus 14.15). החג צוין במרחב הפומבי וכן במרחב הפרטי, ואופיין באווירה חגיגית ושמחה: בתי המשפט ובתי הספר היו סגורים, נהגו לצאת לקניות ומותר היה להמר בפרהסיה. חופש הביטוי הותר לכל אדם, ובעיקר לעבדים. בנוסף, בחג נהוג היה להעניק מתנות אחד לשני, ואחד ממנהגי החג הידועים ביותר היה היחס השווה בו נהגו בעבדים באותו יום. החג צוין גם בתקופת האימפריה, ונראה כי שמר על פופולריות עד המאה החמישית לספירה – כאשר נטמע בחגיגות הנוצריות לציון השנה החדשה וחג המולד....

התאריכים של חג סאטורנליה נמצאת באמצע עד סוף חודש דצמבר. מבחינת אסטרולוגיה זה הגיוני. מזל גדי (22 דצמבר - 19 ינואר) הוא "נשלט" על ידי כוכב הלכת סטורן (שבתאי), שלא לדבר על צירוף מקרים של היפוך החורף ואת ראש השנה הלועזי. סאטורן (קרונוס ביוונית) היה האל של הזמן, כלומר הביטויים "אבא זמן״ ו-״בייבי השנה החדשה" [הלועזי] 31 דצמבר / 1 ינואר.

אבל, יצרו השיגו את מנהגי חג המולד מדתות ותרבויות שונות הקיימות לפני קיום חג המולד, ולא רק מן הרומאים. בעצם מקורות של כל מיתולוגית הנצרות נמצאים בדתות ותרבויות שונות הקיימות לפני הנצורת (ללחוץ לצפות את הסרטון הזה באנגלית).

...חופש הביטוי הותר לכל אדם, ובעיקר לעבדים. בנוסף, בחג נהוג היה להעניק מתנות אחד לשני, ואחד ממנהגי החג הידועים ביותר היה היחס השווה בו נהגו בעבדים באותו יום (ממש כמו "יום הקופסאות" ב-26 בדצמבר באנגליה של היום) .

Saturnalia was an ancient Roman festival in honour of the god Saturn, held on 17 December of the Julian calendar and later expanded with festivities through to 23 December. The holiday was celebrated with a sacrifice at the Temple of Saturn, in the Roman Forum, and a public banquet, followed by private gift-giving, continual partying, and a carnival atmosphere that overturned Roman social norms: gambling was permitted, and masters provided table service for their slaves....

...Although probably the best-known Roman holiday, Saturnalia as a whole is not described from beginning to end in any single ancient source. Modern understanding of the festival is pieced together from several accounts dealing with various aspects. The Saturnalia was the dramatic setting of the multivolume work of that name by Macrobius, a Latin writer from late antiquity who is the major source for information about the holiday. In one of the interpretations in Macrobius's work, Saturnalia is a festival of light leading to the winter solstice, with the abundant presence of candles symbolizing the quest for knowledge and truth. The renewal of light and the coming of the new year was celebrated in the later Roman Empire at the Dies Natalis Solis Invicti, the "Birthday of the Unconquerable Sun", on 23 December. Although we are now led to believe that Saturnalia is the holiday, in which people, during the winter, conserved the kindling of mother nature by bringing evergreens into their home.

The popularity of Saturnalia continued into the 3rd and 4th centuries AD, and as the Roman Empire came under Christian rule, many of its customs were recast into or at least influenced the seasonal celebrations surrounding Christmas and the New Year.

The placement of Saturnalia in mid to late December makes sense astrologically, as the sign of Capricorn (December 22 - January 19) is "ruled" by the planet Saturn, not to mention the coincidence of the Winter Solstice and the secular New Year. Saturn (Gr.: Chronos) was the god of time, ie. "Father Time/Baby New Year" December 31/January 1.

But, Christmas customs have actually been borrowed stolen from many different religions and cultures, coming before it, and not just from the Romans, just like Christianity mythology itself was borrowed.

Although there has been an ongoing movement of Christians to remove the pagan aspects from Christmas, such as the Christmas tree itself -- as if worshiping a false deity wasn't pagan -- prompting "religious" Jews to view them as fundamentally different than the Christians of old. This is, of course, is ridiculous, as these Christians use the same mythological and sociopolitical texts to justify their belief and worship of, a false deity.

בראשון לציון יש לפחות שלוש חנויות שמוכרות ציוד וקישוטים לחג המולד. וחג המולד הוא חג שמציין את היליד של יש״ו (פירוש: ימח שמו וזכרו) האל המזויף ומשיח שקר של הנוצרים במיתולוגיה שלהם.

אפשר לקרוא את Disproving Christianity in 10 Minutes ולצפות את הסרטון (אנגלית) כדי ללמוד עוד על האגדות של הנוצרים לקחו מכל מיני מיתולוגיות העתיקות שכבר קיימות לפניה. למשל, הסיפור של מציל/מושיע שנולד לבתולה הוא סיפור פופולרי מאוד בתרבויות עתיקות כאלה.

אני לא זוכר מהעבר שהיו כל כך הרבה חנויות איפה מוכרים קישוטים וציוד אחר של חג המולד בגלוי בגלוי. זה נראה הולך ומחמיר. ראשון לציון ידועה כעיר מלאת אוכלוסייה די גדולה של עולי (ברית המועצות) בריה"מ לשעבר. אני לא יודע את האיפור של האוכלוסייה המסוימת הזאת. אבל כבר ב -1997, אלה שהגיעו מברית המועצות לשעבר היו רק 40% יהודים, או אפילו פחות. אז, או בעלי חנות בראשל"צ הם יהודים המנצלים עבודת זרה, כמו שמצאתי בירושלים במדרחוב בן יהודה, או שהם פשוט נוצרים עצמם. קשה לדעת. מאז שנת 2006 לפחות, התחנה המרכזית החדשה בתל אביב מלאת דוכנים של מכירות לקישוט ומכירה של חג המולד, ולא בשביל הערבים הנוצרים המגוררים ביפו, אלא בשביל העובדים הזרים מהודו, מהפיליפינים וממקומות נוספים.

התחנה המרכזית הישנה בתל אביב נראת כמטה הנוצרים בגלל כל הנוצרים אתיופים ואפריקאים אחרים המסתובבים שם ומצוידי צלב סביב הצוואר ותמונות של האל המזויף שלהם תלויות במסעדות ובבתי עסק אחרים.

פעם אנשים כאלה היו נזהרו לא להסתובב ככה לפרסם לציבור שהם לא יהודים. הדור החדש של נוצרים אתיופים ואוקראינים, וגם עובדים זרים, כבר לא מתביישים.

אפילו האוונגליסטים והמתנדבים הנוצריים ביהודה ושומרון שהשליכו את סמלי הפגאניות. מפני שהם פועלים כדי להשיג חניה באדמתנו, כנראה הם רואים את הדמוקרטיה של מדינת ישראל כעוזרת להשגת המטרה הסופית הזאת שלהם.

זה אירוני שנוצרים כאלה מתרכזים על החשובות של את הסמלים פגאני האלה, תוך כדי הם שומרים על אותם התיאולוגיה והספרות.

הדבר האחרון אני רוצה להגיד על ציון הלידה המיתולוגית של אלוהות / משיח שקר הזה. במקרה, אני ראיתי את התמונה הזאת בפייסבוק. כן, לראות את התמונה כזאת עצובה. אבל, מה שיותר עצוב הוא שאנשים צחקו עליה, אפילו לפחות יהודי דתי אחד. ועוד מישיהי ששיתפה את התמונה היא בעלת עבר חשוד, ונראה שהיא מתעלמת מהבקשות להסביר את שהיא עשתה בעבר. ועכשיו, מגיע החלק הכי העצוב . מיסיונרית חשודה זו זוכה לשבחים על ידי "ציונים דתיים" על הפעילות שלה למען ישראל. (אֲנָחָה)

איזה חבל. יש מיסיונרים לשעבר שעשו תשובה, ואפילו התגיירו והצטרפו למאבק נגד עבודה זרה.

אם מישהו פעיל אמיתי למען ישראל , אז הוא צריך להיות פעיל למען נשמות יהודיות גם כן.

לפיכך אפשר להבין מלעיל, אנחנו צריכים עוד פעילים למען ישראל,...פעילים אמיתים.

In Rishon LeTzion (south of Tel-Aviv) there are at least three stores which sell Christmas decorations. Christmas is the the holiday which marks the celebration of Yesh"u (Heb. acronym: "May his name and memory be blotted out") the false deity/messiah in Christian mythology.

Read Disproving Christianity in 10 Minutes, and watch the video posted there, for the mythology Christians adopted from various ancient cultures which came before it. For example, the "virgin birth" of a savior figure had already been a rather common myth already on the scene.

I do not recall so many openly Christmas-pushing stores before. It seems to be getting worse. Rishon LeTzion is known for its very large population of residents from the former Soviet Union. I do not know the make-up of this particular population, but as early as 1997, those coming from the Former Soviet Union were said to be only 40 percent Jewish, if that. So, either those in Rishon LeTzion are Jews exploiting avodah zarah, like in Jerusalem with the Christian tourists, or just they are simply Christians themselves. It's hard to tell. Since at least 2006, Tel-Aviv's new Central Bus station has been a bastion of Christmas decoration and supply sales, and not for Christian Arabs in Yaffo, but for foreign workers from India, the Philippines, and elsewhere.

Even the evangelicals and the Christian "volunteers" in Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria) who frown on these pagan symbols. As they are here to gain a foothold on OUR Land, may see this as Israeli deMOCKracy championing their cause. Besides, with or without the symbols. The Evangelicals and "volunteers" are simply more focused and savvier in their attempts at their ultimate objectives.

It is ironic, though, that they consider the symbols pagan, while maintaining the same theology and texts.

One final note on this day marking the mythological birth of a false deity/messiah. I happened upon this photo on Facebook. Yes, it is sad, the juxtaposition But, what is even sadder is that people actually found it funny, including one apparently religious Jew. One person who shared the photo has a suspicious past, and seems to ignore calls for her to come clean about a possible missionary past. (Click here for a full report.)

And, now comes the even sadder part. This suspected missionary is praised by so-called Religious Zionists for her "pro-Israel" activism. (sigh)

Such a shame. Several other former missionaries have done teshuvah (repentance), and have even converted and joined the battle against avodah zarah.

If someone is truly "pro-Israel," then they should be pro-Jewish souls as well.

As you can see from the above, we could use a lot more truly "pro-Israel" people.
