In the Eyes of the United Nations, Israeli Terror Victims Do Not Exist

"On his last day in office, the outgoing Israeli ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, recorded a video in which he strongly criticized the ignoring of the victims of the massacre." (YNET) What about Munich Olympics, 1972? The video is in Hebrew with English subtitles.

In the second video, which is in Hebrew, Amb. Erdan affixes a mezuzah to the new offices of the incoming Israeli ambassador to the United Nations. The mezuzah case is in the shape of the entire land of Israel, Judea, Samaria, Gaza, and the Golan Heights. It was donated by the Judea and Samaria Council. As usual, Southern Lebanon, which comprises the norther sections of the territories of the Tribes of Asher and Naphtali have been excluded.

Summary and commentary follow in English.

Amb. Gilad Erdan: "Tomorrow is the International Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Terrorism. And very soon it will be one year since October 7, the worst terrorist attack since the Holocaust. Despite this, the despicable UN did not see fit to present even one (!) Israeli victim of terrorism in the exhibition it is presenting for this Day of Remembrance. There are no words left to describe how rotten and morally perverted the UN is. Just a disgrace ‼️"

YNET: UN ignores October 7 victims in exhibit for terror victims remembrance day
Even though October 7 was the most deadly terror attack of 2023 and the most deadly massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, the UN leaves out Israeli terror victims in its commemoration events

Itamar Eichner | August 22, 2024

To mark the seventh commemoration of the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism, a virtual high-level event titled "Voices for Peace: Victims of Terrorism as Peace Advocates and Educators" took place on August 21. The exhibition includes victims of the Twin Towers attack in 2001 and even terrorism in Indonesia but not a single representation of the October 7 massacre terror victims or any other Israeli terror victim...

Israel's new ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, said: "The UN's ignoring of Israeli terror victims, and during the year of such a brutal and shocking massacre, is a disgrace and marks a new moral low for the UN. The October 7 massacre is the largest terrorist attack in the last year and the most brutal massacre against Jews since the Holocaust, in which 1,200 Israelis were murdered and 109 are still being held hostage in Gaza."

"The UN was able to find the mother of a 'Palestinian terror victim' who was killed in New Zealand but was unable to find a single terror victim from the most brutal massacre that happened this year, or any Israeli terror victim from the thousands of terror incidents carried out against us. The Israeli delegation to the UN will make sure that no one in this building forgets October 7 and our hostages," Danon added. "As long as the UN doesn't declare Hamas a terrorist organization, this day remains utterly meaningless."
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
The question is not "Why did the UN leave out Israeli victims of terror?" Rather, the question is, "Why are you all surprised?"

Israel is supposed to be a people, separate and distinct. We have not been very successful at this.

So, perhaps now, we are being forced back into the position where we are supposed to be.

ב A vote for Ayelet - a vote for the trash!

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
So far, it appears that the right of center parties have won a majority, 65 of 120, seats, and will mostly likely recommend Binyamin Netanyahu (Likud) to President Herzog as their candidate to form a government.

The winners must not be complacent. The voters for the winners must not be complacent. Arguing over cabinet positions has already been reported.

Former Mayor of Jerusalem Nir Barakat is arguing with previous Finance Minister Yisrael Katz over who will be the next Finance Minister. (Moran Azulay, YNET)

Former Speaker of the Knesset Yariv Levin and Member of Knesset [MK] David Amsalem and  are vying for, openly gay, Amir Ohana's old job as Justice Minister, who wants it back.

MKs Eli Cohen and Mikki Zohar are also reported to be expecting cabinet minister positions.

Netanyahu knows that every mandate counts. He now has the difficult task of keeping everyone happy. He cannot risk upsetting even four MKs in his coalition. We saw what happened to the Bennett-Lapid coalition. After one, then two, left the coalition, its downfall was sealed.

Israel's recent Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon is offering himself as Speaker of the Knesset. For years Netanyahu has seen him as a threat to his leadership. As a result, he sent him away, just like he has recently done to Gidon Erdan and Tzippy Hotovely. Although some have suggested that he is considering Hotovely as his heir to the Likud throne.

Other threats he has simply pushed out, like Moshe Feiglin.

I have no doubt that he will exploit Itamar Ben Gvir (Otzma Yehudit) to the extent that he can. "Keep your friends close; keep your enemies closer."

But Netanyahu also knows that the left will do his dirty work against Ben-Gvir for him. And so he does not have too much to worry about.

Other results of the election worth noting include United Torah Judaism's [UTJ] gain from seven to eight seats, as I have forecasted, and in spite of concern over this community's reported apathy. UTJ is the coalition of Ashkenazy Haredi (ultra-orthodox) parties.

Sha"s, the non-Ashkenazy Haredim and its religious, traditional, and secular supporters, also gained. But Sha"s has a history of its voters switching between Sha"s, Likud, and parties associated with Rabbi Meir Kahane hy"d.

The main winner was the average Israel, who really is right of center to right-wing, and who won simply by going to the polls. The voter turn out this election was reportedly the highest since 1999. (Sarit Avitan Cohen, Globes)

But be warned. We have not seen the last of kippah-wearing, former air force pilot and Minister of Religious Affairs Matan Kahana (Mamlakhti), who has authored transformations in conversion and kosher certification, and who is more dangerous than Shabbos transportation activist Merav Michaeli (Labor).

First of all VOTE FOR...

May Golan (119)

...and also perhaps Gadi Yevarkan (133)

DO NOT VOTE FOR...

Danny Danon (125) is the worst on the Likud primary list of candidates. Someone should ask him if really ever wanted to help Christians settle in Israel, or Christians were telling lies about him. Also in 2010, he apologized to Turkey for the incident on the 'Mavi Marmara' of the Gaza flotilla. In my opinion, he apologized for Israel Defense Forces [IDF] soldiers right to defend themselves. Why did he apologize? Fear of the so-called International Community and what it would think of us perhaps? Everything is about politics, it seems....

Yoel "Yuli" Edelstein (101) was the main speaker at THE FEAST, a missionary convention in 2012, in spite of having been warned about this group by former Jerusalem City Councilwoman Mina Fenton. The organizer of THE FEAST has also been connect to the King of Kings organization. He also attended the grand opening of the World Biblical Zionist Center of Joel Bell.

Gila Gamliel (121) and Ayoub Kara (167) joined him at the grand opening. Gamliel also abstained from voting, instead of voting against, former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's Disengagement Plan Expulsion of Jews from Gaza (including Gush Qatif) and Northern Samaria,... just as former Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Limor Livnat did.

Gershon Mesika (325) received Nigerian Pastor Enoch Adeboye as guest in Samaria. There are those who claim that Adeboye is a missionary.

Amir Ohana (103), in my opinion, did not have a proper investigation carried out into the death of Ahuviyah Sandak z"l and into the actions taken by the police.

Fortunately, the Likud prevented Shuli Mu'alem from running.

The Impartial Red Crescent, the Deadly Red Cross

Arutz 7: Danon demands condemnation of Palestinian Red Crescent
Israel's UN ambassador writes UN Secretary-General, demands he condemn Red Crescent for failing to treat wounded Israelis.

Nitsan Keidar: 11/17/2015

PRCS Hospital, Hevron
No Jews Allowed?!
Israel's UN ambassador, Danny Danon, on Monday wrote to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, demanding a condemnation of the Palestinian Red Crescent, following the revelation that the organization's ambulance was at the scene of the shooting attack near Hevron on Friday but the paramedics did not treat the wounded Israelis.

"An ambulance that doesn’t assist wounded civilians is a terrorist collaborator. This is a blatant disregard for all universal moral values a and blatant disregard for human life," Danon wrote Ban.

In the letter, Danon pointed out that the fact that an ambulance of the Palestinian Red Crescent failed to treat the wounded Israelis is a flagrant violation of international law.

“This is a blatant disregard for the moral commitment of the organization to any wounded person everywhere," he wrote.

The Israeli government also announced Saturday night intentions to launch an international campaign against the Red Crescent.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu ordered the foreign ministry to lodge a stern complaint with the International Committee of the Red Cross in Geneva, under whose auspices the Red Crescent operates, demanding an explanation as to why the Palestinian ambulance ignored Israeli victims, contrary to all humanitarian and ethical practices.

Magen David Adom has confirmed that when its own medics arrived on scene, they discovered a Red Crescent ambulance loitering nearby without providing medical help to the victims of the attack.
The Red Crescent disagrees, and claims that withholding of life saving treatment from the Jews, recently wounded by local Arab terrorists, quite possibly relatives of theirs, was an act of impartiality. Even though two of those Jews, Rabbi Ya'akov Litman and his son Netanel, soon dies from their wounds.
Arutz 7: Red Cross: Palestinian Red Crescent acted 'impartially'
Red Cross rejects Israel's criticism over Red Crescent ambulance which failed to treat wounded Israelis after shooting attack.

Ben Ariel: 11/18/2015

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on Tuesday rejected allegations that a Palestinian Red Crescent was at the scene of last Friday’s shooting attack near Hevron but the paramedics did not treat the wounded Israelis and fled the scene.

In a statement on its website, the ICRC said that the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) had “immediately provided factual accounts, firmly rejected these allegations, and unequivocally reaffirmed its commitment to impartial response” to the attack.

The PRCS’ record of principled and strictly humanitarian action is uncontested and well recognized. The ICRC assessment is that the PRCS operates with professionalism and in full respect of the principles of the RCRC movement, including impartiality. Any question and concern that may require clarification or correction is examined and addressed accordingly, without complacency, by the ICRC, with the national societies, and addressed directly with the concerned authorities,” added the statement. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Blah, blah, blah...

International law is irrelevant. The Arabs do not care about international law. Likewise, Jews should not care about international law either. Jews should only concern themselves with Torah Law.

If Jews would bother to pay attention, they would see that the Arabs want to annihilate us, and take our Land, which pretty much qualifies as milhemeth mitzvah (obligatory war). And, guess what the Torah says about that! Well, I do not intend to tell you, even though I probably should, because even those of you Jews wearing some sort of head covering are not ready to accept it, let alone read it.

(Screen Shot from PRCS Website)
"Israeli Occupation Forces" does not sound "impartial," does it? Whether the IDF is an occupation force, a conquering force, or a force co-dependent on Arab terror, it has nothing to do with the Red Crescent's supposed imperative to save lives. Nor should this supposedly apolitical organization be expressing opinions on political issues.

(Screen shot from the PRCS Website)
Apparently, the PRCS's "humanitarian duty" includes withholding life saving services from Jews who are bleeding to death, because they were shot by Arab terrorists, perhaps even by relatives of the PRCS workers on duty.

If a Hotzoloh or Magen David Adom [MDA] medic refused to provide life saving the State would, no doubt, have them arrested, and tried for "negligent homicide," or some other such "crime."

So, why haven't the PRCS personnel been arrested?

As Ambassador Danon wrote in his letter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon...
"An ambulance that doesn’t assist wounded civilians is a terrorist collaborator...."
Isn't being a terrorist collaborator worse than being just a criminal?

And, by the way, where did their orders to withhold life saving measures from Jews come from, the PA, or the PRCS itself?

When has the PRCS ever saved the life of a Jew?

I guess Ambassador Danon's statement does not just say all that needs to be said about the Red Crescent. It also says all that needs to be said about its umbrella organization, the International Red Cross.

Personally, learning about the Red Cross's visit to the Terezinschadt Concentration Camp, and resulting, the Jews here are fine, nothing to see here assessment, during World War II, was enough to allow all of my Red Cross certifications to expire. Due to the Red Cross's monopoly on health and safety training in the U. S., it was near impossible to find subsequent work as a lifeguard and coach of aquatic sports, without Red Cross certifications.

The Red Cross has also admitted to harboring Hamas terrorists. The Red Crescent has also transported armed terrorists in Azza (Gaza), aiding in their escape from IDF capture.

I call on all Jewish volunteers for the Red Cross to resign immediately in protest of the Red Cross's continued failure to show any concern whatsoever for Jewish lives, except for when they cannot get away with avoiding it.

I also call on all Jewish volunteers for the Red Cross to close your mouths, now gaping wide open from the shock of this post. Flies might fly into your mouths, and you might end up swallowing them.

And flies, like the Red Cross, are not kosher.

Livni Stating the Obvious and Netanyahu's Election Strategy

Arutz 7: Danny Danon Will Be UN Ambassador
Science and Space Minister will replace Ron Prosor. Zionist Union's Livni says the choice is politically motivated.

Gil Ronen, 8/14/2015

Danny Danon
Minister of Science and Space
Science and Space Minister Danny Danon will replace Ron Prosor as Israel's UN Ambassador, according to Channel 2 reporter Amit Segal.

If the report is true, Danon will resign from the Knesset, allowing in Sharren Haskel, who was number 31 on Likud's Knesset list in the last elections.

In a Ynet interview in June, Haskel was depicted as a “moderate” who could easily fit into a leftist party – whose top political issues include animal rights and the environment, and who believes in coexistence with Israel's Arabs and “understanding” them as a top priority.

"Okay, I understand that you are trying to be politically correct, but it cannot be possible that you are not awaiting the moment that will enable you to become a Knesset Member,” the interviewer asked Haskel.

"I am waiting patiently and I am excited. I am already ready for the difficult work that will stand before me if I enter,” she replied.

Danon, 44, is also Chairman of the Likud's Central Committee. In the previous government, he served as Deputy Defense Minister but was fired by the prime minister when he voiced harsh criticism of the government in the initial phase of Operation Protective Edge.

The accepted political wisdom among pundits is that Netanyahu wanted to appoint Danon to the UN as a way of removing him from the internal Likud political arena for several years. Danon was making Netanyahu's life miserable in power struggles within the Likud Central Committee and Secretariat.

The Zionist Union's MK Tzipi Livni reacted badly to the news of Danon's appointment. “Netanyahu is abandoning Israel in the difficult diplomatic battle in the international arena, and preferring his personal interest inside the Likud Central Committee over Israel's security interests."

The Zionist Union's response began with a jab at Danon's present job as Science and Space Minister, for which he was mocked by many snobbish leftists as being intellectually unfit.

"Houston, we have a problem,” read the party's statement. “The appointment of the Space Minister as UN Ambassador is another nail that Bibi is hammering into the coffin of Israel's foreign relations. The prime minister is behaving like a low-tier Likud functionary who arranges jobs for people, and not as a leader who has Israel's interests as his top priority.”
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
What can I say about Livni? When she's right, she's right.

Christian "Zionists'" buddy Danny Danon does not seem to be complaining, though, about being pushed out of the way.

MK Miri Regev is interested in the position Likud Central Committee Chair. I could think of anyone better to take over from Danon.

On the other hand, I am not at all thrilled with the prospects of a future MK Sharren Haskel.

Could Prime Minister Netanyahu finally be accepting the possibility of elections breathing down his neck?

Stay tuned!

Danny Danon: Watch Me Pull a Christian out of my Hat/!

More "Palestinian" prisoners are expected to be included in additional, future "deals for nothing," due to a very pushy and Jew-hating, U. S. Secretary of State John Kerry, and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's perpetual begging and boot-licking of the U. S. Government.

Enter Danny Danon, Deputy Minister of Defense, fellow member of the Prime Minister's Likud Party, and previous rival for party leadership in the last primaries.

Danon gets a "B-" for grabbing the publicity opportunity by the,...proverbial horns, trying to look like a Zionist hero, with his eye on the prize of the Israeli premiership, while squeezing in some serious disrespect for most all of his potential competition at the same time. I suppose that the ultimate disrespect was toward MK Moshe Feiglin, by ignoring him, his unabashedly strong convictions, not to mention the kippah on his head.

Has Danon so quickly forgotten that he was not the one to receive the second highest percentage of votes in the Likud Primaries; it was Mosh Feiglin.

I do not believe that Danon would have the overall support of the current government, and would need to work toward forming a new one, and win Likud primaries first. In other words, he would have to bring down the current government, and he would need to go after Prime Minister Netanyahu very hard.

But, if Danon could win the Likud leadership position, or at least garner a high enough percentage of votes in the primaries to raise his relevance in the Party, what would a Danon Likud Party look like?

Jewish Israel: Messianic Calev Myers and Likud MK Danny Danon form new Knesset Caucus

Ellen Horowitz, December 9, 2011

When they hand out the "wise men of Chelm awards" for this year, Likud MK Danny Danon may walk off with the lion's share. He and messianic/evangelical attorney Calev Myers have just founded a Knesset caucus to battle international anti-Semitism.

Putting Myers at the helm of such a venture would be something akin to appointing fallen White House Press Correspondent Helen Thomas as director of the Anti-Defamation League…only it's worse. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
We must remember that no matter how "heroic" Danon may seem, his entrance into a more powerful position means Christian influence entering a more powerful position with him, a most disturbing thought.
MK Danny Danon (Likud) and John Hagee (Jeezer worshipper)

We must not forget just how deep in with these people Danon is, including, but not limited to encouraging Christian immigration to Israel

Meanwhile, Israeli President Shimon Peres is laughing all the way to wherever he is on his way,...while we are distracted, and looking the other way.

But, of course, this last part is only speculation on my part.

Arutz 7: Deputy Minister Threatens to Resign Over Terrorist Release
MK Danny Danon (Likud) says he won't 'sit in a government that releases terrorists in exchange for Tzipi Livni's fantasies.'

Hezki Ezra, Gil Ronen, March 19, 2014

Deputy Defense Minister, MK Danny Danon (Likud), met bereaved mothers Wednesday and demanded that the fourth tranche of the release of terrorist murderers be canceled, vowing to resign otherwise. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Yeah! Do it! He should resign!

Yes, I am sure Danny Danon's resignation would stop any further prisoner releases,...not to mention solve the "Palestinian" problem overnight!

Well, actually, I don't really believe Danon's resignation would do anything of the sort. Rather, I believe it would increase donations from your Christian buddies, and might even get you a job in some high paying, high ranking, non-profit organization.

In that case, I would happily say "good riddance."

Now, run along, and go play with your Christian friends.

When Jews finally wake up, I assure you, those practitioners of avodah zarah (forbidden worship) will be the only friends you have.

Could Allowing Israeli Settlers to Fend for Themselves be a Good Idea?

Rumors of "abandoning" settlers in Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria) have been for years. The following reports are nothing new, save for confirmations,...of the existence of the rumors.

Certainly, one must be careful with rumors, or even slips or open statements of unreliable politicians. Nonetheless, let's have some fun speculating about these rumors, slips, and statements, and see if we can formulate an reasonable hypotheses about what could, would, or should happen.
Times Of Israel: PM would let all settlers remain in West Bank, official says
Netanyahu will not force any Jews living in what would become ‘Palestine’ to leave, and would insist they get the option to stay where they are under peace deal
Raphael Ahren January 26, 2014

PM Netanyahu
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not intend to uproot Jewish settlements anywhere in the West Bank, and will not force any settlers to leave, even under a permanent peace deal with the Palestinians, a well-placed official in the Prime Minister’s Office told The Times of Israel on Sunday. Rather, the prime minister will insist that settlers be given the free choice of remaining in place and living under Palestinian rule, or relocating to areas under Israeli sovereign rule, the official said.

That requirement seems certain to constitute a significant obstacle in Israeli-Palestinian peace efforts, since Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has categorically rejected the idea of any Israeli — soldier or civilian — remaining in a Palestinian state. (cont.)

...Netanyahu was and remains a fierce critic of the 2005 disengagement from Gaza, under which prime minister Ariel Sharon forced the evacuation of all Gaza settlers and the demolition of their settlements.

Netanyahu raised issue of settlers remaining in a future Palestine during recent talks with John Kerry, Palestinian official says
Elhanan Miller January 27, 2014

The Palestinian refusal to accept Israeli settlers in their future state does not stem from anti-Jewish sentiment, Palestinian officials said on Monday. Hanan Ashrawi, a member of the PLO Executive Committee, told The Times of Israel that Jews and members of all religions would have the right to apply for Palestinian citizenship. But “Palestine” could not accept “ex-territorial Jewish enclaves” where residents maintained their Israeli citizenship status, she said. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
I thought this might happen, and I actually have somewhat mixed feelings about it.

On one hand, I'm afraid for them. On the other hand, how do we know that this will be the route to the new Kingdom of Israel?

I can see the suburbanites running away, and the warriors from Yitzhar sticking around, with the "10's chasing after the 100's."

It is too complicated, costly, and traumatic for the IDF, and for that matter, the Israeli Government itself, to be involved in any mass expulsions of Jews. I believe that most Israelis across the political and religious spectrum can see the logic in this statement, in agreement with it or not.

And so, if the IDF and the government itself limit their involvement as much as possible, what, then are the options?

1. Have some other entity, like the U. S., with its troops, do the Israeli Government's dirty work.

2. Find a way to convince the settlers to move out on their own,...perhaps by scaring the heck out of them.

3. Let the settlers "take their chances." Many will even want to do just that. And then, if they are annihilated (God Forbid!), the Israeli Government can "I told you so!" and "Look at how barbaric the Palestinians really are!" both in the same breath. And, of course, those pesky settlers will no longer be around to "cause problems," such as follow the Torah, instead of Israeli law.

Leaving Israeli settlers to fend for themselves would be an easy and relatively cheap way to get rid of them, just like another certain, former, Israeli prime minister tried to "get rid of" the pesky settlers of Hevron, back in 1994/תשנ"ד, by letting the Arabs do the job for him. Reprehensible, but true.

Before Purim of that year, posters in Arabic read, "We will finish the job Haman started!"(See Esther 3:5-11)

But, then a certain physician became the ultimate glitch in his plans.

You can call this a 1994 "conspiracy theory" if you insist,...as long as you look at the writing on the wall of 2014.

However, I do not see such negative, end results occurring. Just as Israeli President Shimon Peres has said that he is an optimist, in a way, so am I.

I cannot help but recall the images evoked by the following passage from the Torah, the end of Parashath Behar into the beginning of Parashath Behuqotai:

Deuteronomy 26
1. You shall not make yourselves any idols, neither shall you raise up for yourselves a graven image, or a pillar, neither shall you place any figured stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am the LORD your God. 2 You shall keep My Sabbaths, and revere My sanctuary: I am the LORD. 3 If you walk in My statutes, and keep My commandments, and do them; 4 then I will give your rains in their season, and the land shall yield her produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. 5 And your threshing shall reach to the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time; and you shall eat your bread until satisfied, and dwell in your land safely. 6 And I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make frighten you; and I will cause evil beasts to cease out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land. 7 And you shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. 8 And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase ten thousand; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword. 9 And I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you; and will establish My covenant with you. 10 And ye shall eat old store long kept, and ye shall bring forth the old from before the new. 11 And I will set My tabernacle among you, and My soul shall not abhor you. 12 And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be My people. 13 I am the LORD your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bars of your yoke, and made you go upright.

I included this extensive passage here, in order to remind all of us that the so-called "settlers" living in highly ideological towns and hilltops are known for keeping to all of the above.

I envision many, but by far not all, of the suburbanites in Yehudah and Shomron pick up and leave, leaving Yitzhar, some from K'far Tapu'ah and Elon Moreh, Havath Gilad, Eish Qodesh, Havath Ma'on, and like minded towns to fend for themselves, something which many of us have wanted to do all along.

I can easily imagine Arabs running away in fear from these "crazy settlers," who will receiving the prosperity which accompanies their great emunah (faith) in the above passage.

And, just like it only took one from Israel, Nahshon ben Aminadav, to enter the Sea of Reeds, before it split, perhaps it will only take a few hundred "settlers" to keep a hole on the precious gift of a Divinely granted Homeland, before The Almighty will take care of the rest for us.

Likud vs. Likud

Arutz 7: Bibi Boots Elkin from Plane for Embarrassing Him
Prime Minister tells deputy foreign minister to fly El Al to New York, after Elkin embarrasses him with old quote against PA state.

Gil Ronen, September 25, 2013

MK Ze'ev Elkin
(Likud - Beteinu)
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has punished Deputy Foreign Minister, MK Ze'ev Elkin, by barring him from joining the prime ministerial flight to New York's UN General Assembly as was planned, reports Yisrael Hayom. The decision is reportedly Netanyahu's way of disciplining Elkin, after Elkin embarrassed Netanyahu politically.

Elkin will have to take a regular El Al flight that leaves Saturday night. He will be replaced on the prime minister's plane by Minister Gilad Erdan. Both Elkin and Erdan are members of Likud.

According to the report, Netanyahu is upset because of a speech Elkin delivered at a Likud event ten days ago, and also because of a petition he co-signed with about 30 other MKs, calling on Netanyahu to cancel any further releases of terrorist prisoners.

In the speech, Elkin quoted Netanyahu's own words, 11 years ago, regarding the possible establishment of a Palestinian state. “The Palestinians will enjoy all of the rights,” Netanyahu said then, “except for one right – the right to annihilate Israel. Self rule – yes. A state – no.”

Netanyahu added, then: “They tell us that the Palestinian state is a vision for the future. Well, our nation also has a vision for the future. 'And the wolf will dwell with the sheep. When that vision is realized in the Middle East, we will go back and reconvene the Likud Central Committee and discuss the issue again.”

By quoting Netanyahu, Elkin was showing that he has backtracked on his stated principles. Netanyahu now favors a "demilitarized" Arab state inside Judea and Samaria.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
I just LOVE this picture of Bibi! Don't you?
So now, do we applaud MK Zev Elkin for getting up to the plate, and declaring the truth?

Do you Likudniks out there condemn him for embarrassing your precious prime minister, and working in the opposite direction of Party unity?

Do the "pragmatists" out there condemn him for not choosing his shots in a terribly efficient manner?

Do those of us on the sidelines ask whether MK Elkin really thinks he has the backing to get on the next Likud list of candidates without Bibi's rubber stamp, especially now that he has stepped on even more toes?

Should we even care?
Well, in between yawns, I applaud MK Elkin for not only speaking up, and calling the prime minister on his shenanigans, but for also not second guessing himself. At least, that's my take on what happened.

You are more than welcome to leave a comment suggesting that I've got this all wrong, and that I do not know MK Elkin as well as you do. I'll probably publish it. I do not have enough emotional investment in the Israeli governmental regime to care, and you'll only be doing me a favor by providing me with some additional insight.

But, until then, MK Elkin if one of the few MK's and even fewer Likud MK's who still have my attention, and positive view.

In case you are wondering who the other Likud MK's are still on my "smiley face" list (for lack of a better term), they are MK Moshe Feiglin, of course, and MK Yariv Levin.

Nope, not Christian lover MK Danny Danon, who was never on said list, and MK Tzippy Hotovely recently revealed her true colors, and so was immediately removed.

MK Hotovely, I have some words for you!

YNET: MK Hotovely: Must give Israeli citizenship to Palestinians

June 20, 2013

Deputy Transport Minister Knesset Member Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) participated in an event marking 20 years for the Oslo Accords and said: "The Oslo paradigm has crashed. It is time to abandon the two-state solution in favor of an annexation resolution, meaning applying Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria and giving an Israeli citizenship to all Palestinians."

Hotovely added that in order to "keep a demographic advantage", a national goal of bringing a million Jews to Israel in the next decade should be set. (Moran Azulay)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
"Must?"

MK Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) has truly lost it.

That's all there is to it. At least, I hope that's all there is to it.

Ramba"m, Laws of Avodah Zarah and Statutes of the Goyim 10:9
These things mentioned (above) are only in effect during the time when Yisra'el was exiled among the nations, or when the attacking hand of the goyim is upon us. But, when the hand of Yisra'el is upon the nations of the world, it is forbidden for us to place goyim who practice foreign worship among us; even one dwelling here temporarily, or one who moves from place to place for business, he will not pass through our land, until he accepts upon himself the seven misswoth that B'nei No'ah were commanded--as it says "They will not be in. And if he accepted upon himself the seven misswoth [B'nei No'ah], he has the status of a resident alien. But, resident aliens are not accepted, except at the time when the Jubilee [year] is in effect; but when is is not, only converts are accepted.

Please forgive me, but I do not recall Yovel (Jubilee) being back in effect, nor any Arabs going before a beth din to declare formal acceptance of the seven misswoth B'nei No'ah. As a people, they are certain guilty of three of these, if not more.

Wikipedia:
Hotovely practises Orthodox Judaism and is a self-described "religious rightwinger." At the age of 34, she was the 18th Knesset's youngest member. She is described as the "ideological voice" of the Likud Party.
I think she needs to do a little bit more "practicing" of that Orthodox Judaism of hers. "Rightwinger?" "Ideological voice?"

How does giving citizenship to Yishma'elite enemies, who want to annihilate us, make her a "rightwinger" or an "ideological voice?"

Of course, I agree with the one million But, let's set that aside for the moment

Although screaming and yelling on the surface, I am sure that underneath it all, the "Pseudostinians" will be quite happy to accept Israeli citizenship. It will much easier for them to travel abroad. Then, when the commit terrorist acts in other countries (and they will!), those very countries critical of Israel's current treatment of the "Pseudostinians" will criticize Israel for allowing the anger of "poor, poor Arabs" with "battered wife syndrome" to spill over into their backyards.

So, why are you recommending this "plan" of yours, this plan which has already had various incarnations, and which has already died several times?

The Techiyah Party, Rabbi Benny Elon (Moledeth), and now Naftali Bennett (Jewish Home) have "invented" virtually the same plan. In fact, MK Hotovely even goes farther than Bennett, who has already incurred the wrath of Esser Agaroth's criticism several times.

Why is that? I suspect that this is exactly what the powers that be want. I will assume for now that you are not "in on it," and just a pawn in their schemes. Although, I seriously doubt you appreciate being called a pawn.

For years now, there has been this illusion of an adversarial relationship between those favoring yet another independent Yishma'elite country adjacent to Israel, and those who do not.

Yet, the major force behind the only viable option to those who truly value Jewish life, the emigration of the Yishma'elim from Israel, was assasinated.

Why is that?

I am certainly not suggesting that we will be able to that next week, or even next year. But, it is truly disturbing that politicians feel the need to be silent about this alternative, supposedly for the sake of the greater good which can be accomplished be hanging on to ones seat in the K'nesseth.

Getting back to those one million immigrants who like to arrive within the next decade. Getting them to come, even with money (which I never got, BTW), free Hebrew lessons, and Nefesh b'Nefesh handholding, is already harder than convincing them to pull their own teeth. So, how do you expect them to get on the plane knowing that the newly chosen country's government's idea of protecting them from Arab terror, is to give millions of potential Arab terrorists the same citizenship, rights, and passport.

I guess the "Pseudostinians" would end up receiving some form of their demand for the "right of return" of the second, third, and fourth generations of Arabs of those who saw that the Jews meant business, and ran away.

Thanks a lot, MK Hotovely!

One by one, Likudniks have shown themselves to be disappointments: Begin and Netanyahu land giveways, Danon and Asulin Christian chumminess, and of course, we do not even have to mention Sharon's despicable actions. Even Shamir, the lease worst prime minister of Israel, accepted that ill-fated invitation to Madrid.

And, now you...

Oh, before I forget, Mazal Tov on your marriage! You know, you may want to consider spending more time with Or, now that you're married,...A LOT more time, as in ALL of the time.

But, however you choose to spend your time, please keep your unoriginal and insane ideas to yourself, and out of the K'nesseth.

In fact, how about putting that Orthodox Judaism to good use. Set aside, just for a moment your "practical," political ideas, and spend some searching out some, authentic, Torah ideas.

Why Are People Still Enamored (And Fooled) By Danny Danon?

MK Danny Danon
Until now, Danny Danon was a marginal character from the extremist back benches. In the next Knesset, he will be at the heart of Israel’s ruling party

Matti Friedman, January 8, 2013

(Tip Credit: Westbank Mama)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Danny Danon lost miserably in his challenge to Binyamin Netanyahu's leadership of the Likud Party.

Moshe Feiglin received 25 percent of the vote.  Dannon could not even break a double digit percentage of the vote.

Years ago, Danny Danon through his position of head of World Likud was going to help Christians settle in Israel.  Not accept their donations, not accept their help through volunteering, but actually settle here.

Not just Christians, but pseudo-"Efraimites" who believe that the North of Israel is theirs (Northern Kingdom), and that Judea is ours.

They believe that they will eventually taken on mitzvot, and that we will take on the belief in their mythology.

Does that not disturb you?

Both Bibi and Bennett forsake that land in one way or another.

Does that not disturb you?

Does not such blatant disregard for halakhah (Jewish Law) disturb you?

It should.

The Nice, But Ineffective Likud Party List Of Candidates

IsraelNN.com: MK Ben Ari: Likud List Is Nice, But Ineffective
'Elkin, Levin, Hotovely and Danon were in the Knesset when Netanyahu froze construction.'

Gil Ronen, November 27, 2012

MK Michael Ben-Ari
MK Michael Ben Ari (Power to Israel) said Tuesday that the newly selected Likud list contains good nationalist names – but those names are not enough to keep Likud's leader from steering the nation in the wrong direction. "Without a doubt," he said, "Elkin, Hotovely, Yariv Levin and Danny Danon are honest ideologues and they mean what they say. However, we must remember that they were already in the Knesset in the previous term, and that did not prevent Netanyahu from recognizing a Palestinian state and freezing construction in Judea and Samaria."

"The influence of these members is marginal, I am sorry to say, and it will continue to remain marginal. We see this already this morning, with Netanyahu saying that he wants to keep Dan Meridor and Benny Begin at his side. What does that tell you about the Likud's true direction?

Ben Ari did not mention the newly elected Moshe Feiglin in his statement.

Ben Ari also blasted Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman. "The man is an elections hound, and history proves that on the eve of elections he always makes right wing statements and is suddenly deep within the Right, but it is no secret that inside, at home, in critical government votes, Lieberman turns out to be an opportunist, and he was a partner to all of this government's failures."

Ben Ari noted the government's "surrender" in Gaza as a case in point. "Instead of entering Gaza, erasing the enemy and bringing Hamas down on its knees, the Netanyahu-Lieberman government delivered a disappointment, and not for the first time."

Ben Ari heads the newly formed Power to Israel faction together with MK Aryeh Eldad.

MK Ben-Ari is right on point.

However, he failed to mention Danny Danon's history of collaboration with Christian missionaries, nor his infamous, and completely unnecessary, apology to Turkey.  He also neglected to mention the destruction of 10-year old neighborhood in Beth-El, the destruction of Migron, and the destruction of any number of other Jewish strongholds in Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria).

Nevertheless, it looks Ben-Ari and Eldad's "Power To Israel" Party will be getting my vote, come this 11 Shvat (January 22, 2013).
