הרב אהד טהרלב הוא מבית הלל. בתיאור והחזון באנגלית של בית הלל כוללים מילות מפתח כמו "משכיל" ומילות סיסמא כמו "כוללני". העברית מציעה שבתוך עולם הדמוקרטיות, "...השקפות השוויוניות הפכו לאידיאל". הגרסה באנגלית ממשיכה "...אנו מאמינים שזה הכרחי לכלול נשים בתפקידי מנהיגות ציבורית."

על הרב ירמי סטביסקי אני שמעתי עליו רק דברים כאיש חינוך. למרות שאני לא יודע הרבה על דעותיו המסימות, שהוא למד בישיבת הר עציון וקורא לרב יהודה עמיטל ״רבי ומורי״ אני חושד שהוא יכול להיול ממלכתי כמו כל האחרים הרשומים ברשימת המשתתפים בהפגנה הזו. רב יהודה עמיטל היה ח״כ מתנועת ״מימד״ שהיתה בסיעת מפלגת העבודה של רה״מ שמעון פרס.

ניר אורבך הוא פשוט עוד אחד שהצטף לנפתלי בנט הוא היה במפלגת בית היהודי ואז מפלגת [מה שנקרא] מפלגות ימין חדש.

Dr. Yoaz Handel has no business identifying himself as "right-wing," ever since joining Naftali Bennett in his government.

Yoram Cohen former head of the Shin Bet (Shabbak). Do I really have to elaborate here on the Shabbak? Yes. I suppose that I do. Click here for and elaboration.

Emily Amrusi was the spokesperson for the Judea, Samaria, and Gaza [Yesha] Council, before, during, and after Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's expulsion of almost 10,000 Jews from Gaza in תשס״ה/2005. Do not be fooled. The Yesha Council collaborated with the Sharon Government in the expulsion. If you have not yet seen the video "Meraglim" (Spies), then you really need to, in order to understand fully what it must have meant to be the Yesha Council's spokesperson.

Pinchas Wallerstein is the ultimate example of divisiveness among the settler community. If you are not one of his kind of "well-behaved," elitist, mamlakhti (diehard State loyalist) settler, then you don't count. In 2008, he was accused of attacking three minors physically, with the apparent intention of quashing the assertion of their free speech, which the State claims to foster. 

Rabbi Ahed Taharlev is from Beit Hillel, and organization I really should have written about ages ago. No matter. In short, Beit Hillel's description and vision include buzz words like "enlightened" and code words such as "inclusive." The Hebrew suggests that within the world of democracies, "...egalitarian views became the ideal." The English continues "...we believe it imperative to include women in public leadership roles." We'll have to leave it at that for now.

Rabbi Yerami Stavisky, I have to be fair, and must say that I have heard only positive things about him as an educator. Although I do not know much about his specific views, Har Etzion Rabbi Yehudah Amital

Nir Orbach is just another one of Naftali Bennett's former lackeys from the Jewish Home and so-called New Right Parties.

None of them are in the least bit interested in having any discussion. Their idea of unity on consensus is when everyone else agrees with them.

None of them are in the least bit right-wing. 

The Expulsion From Gaza: Who Was To Blame?

י' לחודש החמישי תשע"א

More than six years ago, Efraim Tashnady, long time resident of Neve Deqalim, approached his local rabbis to ask what they were doing to organize the struggle against their impending expulsion from their homes in Gush Qatif (Southern Azza).

The rabbi's response?

Rabbi: "Pray." 

ET: "To pray is good. But which practical steps are being taken?" 

Rabbi: "None. Pray. It is upon everyone to take personal inventory, with whichever rabbis he listens to. Not once in history have entire communities been led to such ruin." (What about Yamit?)

Most of the residents of Azza proceeded to follow this advice, and to remain in the same denial until it was too late.

And, what did other rabbis do?

Some rabbis actually aided in the expulsion. That's right. They actually told residents to leave their homes, and helped remove their belonging. Those "rabbis" included Shlomo Aviner, who is still prohibited from making rulings on niddah, yet continues to do so anyway, and Moti Elon, whose coercion of his students to engage in sexual acts with him was recently exposed by his peers.

This all took place the day after the Fast of the Fifth Month (9 b'Av). The day after the destruction of the Temple, it was still burning, thus the custom of Am Yisra'el to continue the refrain from eating meat, drinking wine, cutting ones hair, trimming ones beard, listening to music, and laundering clothes until the afternoon of the 10th.

The first tragedy to befall Am Yisra'el was the negative report on the Holy Land, brought back back the meraglim (spies), sent out by Moshe Rabbeinu (Numbers 13:23-33). The negative report resulted in the curse of mass deaths, each year on the 9th of the Fifth Month, killing off an entire generation of men. Only Yehoshu'a Bin-Nun and Kalev Ben-Yefuneh expressed their faith in HaQadosh Barukh Hu (The Holy One, Blessed Be He), defending the Land.

Meanwhile, Rabbi Dov Lior (Hevron-Qiriyath Arba) and Rabbi Zalman Melamed (Beth-El) were barricaded in a K'far Darom synagogue, fighting for Eretz Yisra'el, while watching over our youth, who were doing the same. These rabbis were the Yehoshu'a and Kalev of the day. The other "rabbis?" Well,...you can do the math on your own.

Heroes defending the Land were accused of being "provocateurs" of the Shabba"k (General Security Service) and otherwise demonized.

Daniel Pinner was acquitted of aggravated assault, a charge lessened from an original charge of attempted murder. He still had to serve a two year jail sentence. Go figure...

Others were place in "administrative detention," at the whim of the Israeli Justice system, on advisement of the Shabba"k.

So, on this sixth anniversary of the expulsion of Jews from Gush Qatif and the rest of Azza, we must take a look at who is really to blame, and whether we are going to trust these people again:

Mamlakhti "Rabbis" and the YeSh"A Council.

Below, for your convenience, I have re-posted the entire film Meraglim (Spies, 40 min.). You have not yet see it, I highly recommend that you do. If you have seen it, I recommend that you see it again.

Then after you get angry, you can cry by watching the video montage of Jewish life in Azza, and the subsequent expulsion, created by Efraim Tashnady's son P'niel.

Part 1
This first part of the series introduces us to the lying liars of the Yehudah, Shomron, and Azza [YeSh"A] Council, and to the activists who regret having listened to them.

The lying YeSh"A Council members were honest about one thing. They were concerned about their public image.

Part 2
This part begins with the real manner in which YeSh"A Council members regard rabbinical rulings it does not like. It ignores them, or worse. (We have seen this approach before, among the members of the National Religious/Jewish Home Party.)

This part also brings forth the truth about then Rosh Yeshivath Merkaz HaRav Rabbi Avraham Shapira ztz"l's opinion regarding which takes precedence, Torah or Israeli law, when there is a conflict between the two. Mamlakhtim (religious, yet undying state loyalists) have tried to distort the presentation of Rabbi Shapira's views.

The YeSh"A Council found "other rabbis," who agreed with them. Shlomo Aviner, emphasized their presence, and then yelled to "listen to the rabbis!" Pure hypocrisy!

The YeSh"A Council's imprisonment of activists at K'far Maimon is the focus of this part, as well as its collaboration with police.

Take note of then MK Effie Eitam hugging the police commander. One year later, he would incur a head injury at the Amona Pogram. Let's hope he has learned his lesson.

Part 3
Rabbi Avraham Shapira ztz"l did NOT care about public image (ie. PR). The YeSh"A Council distorted the presentation of the plan to enter Southern Azza (Gush Qatif) through its "military expert." This convinced Rabbi Shapira to withdraw his support for the plan.

In actuality, the YeSh"A Council's military expert Ami Shaqed provided activists with a different story, than that which was presented to Rabbi Shapira.

The YeSh"A Council continued to sabotage the protest efforts through the sneaky activities of Pinhas Wallerstein (Ofra, Then Binyamin Counil Head) and newly appointed member Rafi Ben-Bassad (Neweh Tzuf), including the dispersion of activists and more staged arrests.

Rabbinical collaboration is also exposed in this part.

Some IDF rabbis actually claimed it was permissible according to the Torah to expel all of these Jews from their homes, and to hand over the land to our most deadly enemies.

Shlomo Aviner is shown convincing the residents of Gan-Or to allow the IDF soldiers into their town. Until he arrived, Gan-Or residents had been preventing their entry successfully.

Rabbi Mordechai Elon uses his rhetorical skills to convince Netzer-Hazani residents to leave quietly. "Rabbi" Elon's sexual predation was recently exposed by his peers.

Meanwhile, everyone seems to be ignoring the greatest poseq and dayan of them all, Rabbi Shapira.*

The end of this part exposes the collaboration of YeSh"A Council Head Bentzi Lieberman with police, putting the nail in the coffin of Newe Deqalim, the largest Jewish town in Azza.

Part 4
This part begins with more collaboration on the part of Bentzi Lieberman, followed by the staged removal of Tzviki Bar-Hai and Ze'ev "Zambish" Hever, who then directs the violent expulsion from the Neweh Deqalim synagogue. (You've got to see this! It's so blatant and ridiculous that they thought they could hide it.)

The last two minutes provides a conclusion of not only this particular blot on Jewish history, but of the deeper issues facing the Jewish People:

We will let this happen again? Will we let the meraglim fool us again?

Will we again hold Israeli law above the Torah?

Can There Be Any Doubt About The YeSh"A Council?

Barak Lauds Wallerstein on Mutiny

(IsraelNN.com) Defense Minister Ehud Barak reacted Sunday to the “Kotel mutiny” in which soldiers at a swearing-in ceremony protested the IDF's eviction policy, saying that he viewed it “very gravely.”

"However,” he added, “Yesh"a Council Director Pinchas Wallerstein's sharp reaction against the deed was in my eyes the right voice of the settlers in Yehudah (Judea) and Shomron (Samaria).”

One compliment from Ehud Barak says it all....

In an interview on Voice of Israel government radio, Wallerstein called the soldiers' action “unforgivable.”

Can there now be any doubt in anyone's minds where Wallerstein's priorities are? Can there be any doubt about his conflicts of interest? Can there be any doubt about his being a government collaborator?

The so-called YeSh"A Council is suppose to encourage the settlement of Yehudah and Shomron, not discourage it, and certainly not support any enterprise which discourages it or, worse, destroys it.

Because of such soldiers, some Jewish strongholds still stand. Why would Wallerstein want to put them down? If he secretly supports them, why would this want to bury the truth? The truth is that Pinhas Wallerstein cares first and foremost for Pinhas Wallerstein, second for Pinhas Wallerstein, and third for Ofra, the town in which he resides.

Rabbi Elyakim Levanon, Head of the Hesder Yeshiva at Elon Moreh and a member of the Judea and Samaria Council, voiced support Saturday for the soldiers and demanded that Wallerstein resign his post.

Rabbi Levanon is one of the rabbis who knows which takes precedence, Torah Law or man-made laws, and is not ashamed to express it. Barukh HaShem we have [real] rabbis like him.

"I call upon every soldier to reveal his views in public,” Levanon urged. “Clear value-oriented statements by soldiers are a clear sign of the general public feeling against the eviction of any Jews from their home.”

Encouraging freedom of speech? See how dangerous such truth-bearing rabbis are?

The Yesh"a Council is made up of local government chiefs in Yehudah and Shomron and claims to represent the Jewish population in those regions.

So true is the manner in which Gil Ronen phrases this last sentence. The YeSh"A Council is self-chartered, self-perpetuating, and self-serving. The rare, decent members, like Rabbi Levanon, stick around only in an attempt to facilitate positive change. Unfortunately, they spend most of their time doing damage control.

Pretty much sums up the expulsion of Jews from Azza, doesn't it?

Finally, a documentary has been produced, exposing the collaborators who were behind the expulsion of Jews from Azza, and the mesirah (handing over) of their property over to goyim (non-Jews), even more so, to bitter enemies of the Jewish People.

The documentary is entitled "Meraglim," after the spies who delayed B'nei Yisrael's settlement of Eretz Yisrael by 38 years, through their lack of faith in HaQadosh Barukh Hu (The Holy One, Blessed Be He), and their lashon hara (See Numbers 13-14).

I know Rabbi Moshe Cohen of Beth El personally. We taught junior high school together years ago. He's an amazing Jew, and an amazing teacher, now teaching at the Beth El Yeshivah. He's a Jew with his priorities straight. That's for sure.

More Codependent YeSh"A Coucil PR Crap

Tremping into Jerusalem Erev Shabbath, I had an opportunity to take a picture of the huge billboard at the entrance to Shiloh, Shevuth Rahel, and their surrounding hilltop communities. The sign next to the blond haired, blue-eyed boy, dressed up in a Kohen Gadol (High Priest) costume, reads "Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria), the story of every Jew."

The billboard is part of the YeSh"A (Judea, Samaria, and Azza) Council's latest attempt at a public relations campaign to win over the hearts of "regular" Israelis, living on the coast, in the Gallil, and in the Negev.

The campaign is not only codependent and a waste of taxes, but also just plain crap.

The photo from the campaign's official website shows children who are all light-skinned and pug-nosed. There is not even a parallel English site. If there were, then this display would at least make a little sense, playing on the sympathies of their Christian "friends" and wealthy American Ashkinazim. Nope. They didn't even think of that, did they? (Is an English version hidden somewhere under a completely unrelated URL?) I am very surprised about this, too, as this photo more reminiscent of Christian, school Bible plays and Christmas videos, than of anything Jewish.

Although one point of the campaign is to remind Jews that Yehudah and Shomron comprise the heart of the Jewish Homeland (true), thus "the story of every Jew,"

The photo also does not present any boys with long payoth (side locks) or large kippoth (male head coverings). Bigdei Tzitzith (fringed garments) are conveniently hidden underneath the children's costumes, even though during the periods represented, such garments were worn where they can be seen, much like today's hilltop youth.

This was an obvious attempt to avoid any associations with hilltop youth which they consider to be an "extremist" element. The irony is that more than a few of such "extremists" (my eyes are rolling) live in Shiloh's surrounding hilltop communities, as well as in Shiloh itself.

If the YeSh"A Council thinks that gaining the support of the Israeli public actually means something, then they are living in a fantasy world. Do they actually think that the numbed-out Israeli public will come out and protest further expulsions of Jews?

Look what happened when YeSh"A residents went door to door (Ofra to Holon, Shiloh to Qiriyath Ono, etc.) to convince Likud Party members to vote against the proposed party policy to pull out from Azza (A reasonable idea, no?). Sure, sixty percent of those who voted in the referendum, voted against the proposal. However, then Prime Minster Ariel Sharon ignored his party's wishes, and expelled 8,000 Jews from their homes anyway.

Re-vamped, re-re-vamped, or not, the YeSh"A Council collaborated with the government in the expulsion of Jews from Azza. When Neve Deqalim resident Efraim Tashnady approached the local authorities and "rabbis" in Azza about what the plan was to resist the expulsion, the response was to pray. He was dumbfounded (Hebrew).

I am dumbfounded that there are Jews willing to place their faith, yet again, in the YeSh"A Council. Sure, good Jews like Shomron Council Head Gershon Mesiqa, are members now. But when people like Danny Dayan as YeSh"A Council's head, and Sha'ul Goldstein and Pinhas Wallerstein with their hands on its cookie jar, people are nuts for even giving it the time of day.

The YeSh"A Council receives its budget directly from the Office of the Prime Minister. In most "normal" countries, this would be called a conflict of interest.

So, just what exactly does the YeSh"A Council have in mind this time?

Rabbi Binyamin Kahane HY"D was right when he said we should just LET them all think we're crazy and violent. Then maybe they'll just leave us alone.

YeSh"A Council Non-Political? Yeah, Right!

Yesha Council Remains Non-Political
February 9, 2009

(IsraelNN.com) The Judea and Samaria Council emphasized Monday that it is a non-political body and will not endorse specific parties in Tuesday’s elections. The council also explained that although some council members have made their personal views public, they do not reflect an official council policy....

Maybe not technically, but c'mon! YeSh"A Council head Danny Dayan is a candidate on the Jewish home Party list.

And then, of course,...


...Last week Council CEO Pinhas Wallerstein publicly endorsed the Jewish Home party. He explained that he could not vote for the Ichud Le’umi (National Union) party since it contained elements which did not respect the authority of the state.

Um,...yeah, like "elements" which violate Torah Law.

You may recall that Pinhas wallerstein was a long time council member, and Head of the Binyamin Regional Council, before "retiring." He then mysteriously popped back on the scene as executive director. I wonder if they had to beg him to come back.

When the YeSh"A Council's Head and its executive director publicly endorse political parties, how can it get away with making such an outrageous statement like "it is a non-political body?"

And why shouldn't it be a political body?

The YeSh"A Council is supposed to be encouraging settlement of Yehudah and Shomron, and for that matter Azza (Judea, Samaria and Gaza), not making deals to give up or trade this piece for that, and certainly not collaborating with the [almighty] State to expel Jews from their homes in these areas. Respecting authority is one thing; actively helping is another.

There is no question that the YeSh"A Council should be endorsing the Ihud Le’umi (National Union), the ONLY party which has been clear that it is against land giveaways to our enemies (The Jewish Home Party is not.), thus the only party which comes even close to supporting the YeSh"A Council's supposed goals.

But, what do you expect from a "non-political body" which received its budget directly from the Office of the Prime Minister.

How The YeSh"A Council Thugs Celebrated Israeli Independence Day

My sources tell me that there was a major poster war during the recent nights of posting announcements for Yom HaAtzma'uth (Israeli Independence Day) events in Yehudah and Shomron (Judea & Samaria).

The war was between publicizing a "Land Of Israel Supporters event in the destroyed town of Homesh in the heart of the Shomron near Jenin, and a YeSh"A Council-sponsored event in the mamlachti town Migron, just north of Jerusalem.

Layers upon layers of posters over posters, from the back and forth coverage, could be found throughout the Shomron. In between were the Jonathan Pollard posters struggling for space. My sources tell me that if there was a choice between covering up a YeSh"A/Migron poster with a Pollard poster versus covering up a Homesh poster, it was a no-brainer.

The YeSh"A/Migron poster got it.

Important rabbis, unafraid to express Torah truth, even if means criticizing the Israeli Goverment, could be found in Homesh. They included Rabbi Yisrael Ariel (Sanhedrin, Temple Institute), Rabbi Dov Lior (Qiriyath Arba-Hevron), Rabbi Gadi Ben-Zimra (Ma'aleh Levona), Rabbi "Dudi" Dudekevitch (Yitzhar).

Where do you think my friends were?

This year's Yom HaAtzma'uth preparations did not go unmarred by the typical violence and suppression of free-speech expected in Yehudah and Shomron.

Yet, this time around it was particularly disgusting, as it was perpetrated [openly] by the YeSh"A powers that be, and their thugs....

Pinchas Wallerstein of the Yesh"a [Judea, Samaria, & Gaza] Council leaders violently attacked three minors who were putting up posters near Ofra. The posters attacked the YeSh"A Council and its agreement regarding [the removal of some of] its strongholds.

Vallerstein ripped up the posters, and with the aid of three security personnel from Ofra, struck the minors, broke into their vehicle, and stole about 2,000 posters.

The minors demanded that he identify himself, but he refused, and was identified by the residents of Ofra who were also there.

They are currently checking into the filing of a complaint with the police regarding the attack and the theft.

In Mevo Horon, the YeSh"A Council, together with the town administration uprooted the stronghold adjacent to the town.

In Beth Yatir, the YeSh"A Council, together with the town administration destroyed caravans (mobile home/trailers) in its stronghold to the south.

The YeSh"A Council calls us out to march in Migron on Independence Day, and at the same time it says, "these days in which they talk about destruction and evacuation...." when they themselves are participants in activities destroying Jewish towns!!!

Including attempts to convince the people of Migron to move to the town of Adam (Geva Binyamin).

The call to come to march in Migron is an empty display of the struggle which in fact puts the pressure on to help Migron willingly.

We should not fall into this trap!

Stop the agreement [to remove] strongholds!

Go out into the open spaces!

The second poster distributed, and which can also be found at the link above, basically states that the Independence Day Parade by Migron (the mamalachti town closer to Jerusalem than Ofra) is a joke, and is really its funeral procession.

Defense Minister Ehud Baraq has said previously that he plans to move the community this summer.

Today some of the Lard Of Israel activists paid the Migron event a visit....

Activist Groups Clash in Migron

(IsraelNN.com) Supporters and opponents of the Yesha Council clashed Thursday during a rally in the community of Migron. Police arrested two activists who were involved in the fighting.

Thousands of Israelis streamed to Migron on Thursday to show support for the town, which the government has threatened to destroy this summer. Members of the Loyalists to the Land of Israel, lead by Daniella Weiss, began distributing pamphlets accusing the Yesha Council of “assisting in the expulsion of Jews” through its support for the voluntary evacuation of some Jewish towns in exchange for official government authorization for others.

Fighting broke out when members of Loyalists to the Land of Israel began shouting during a speech by Yesha Council head Danny Dayan. [Daniella] Weiss later said she felt it was important to interrupt Dayan in order to publicize the Yesha Council’s tactics. [Yesh"a Council Head Danny] Dayan said the Yesha Council was doing what was necessary to strengthen Jewish life in Judea and Samaria, and would not be deterred by violence.

Same old YeSh"A Council hypocrisy, ,...and the mamlachti (state loyal religious) sheep going to slaughter,...but not before they hug the soldiers.

Feiglin Responds to Yesha Endorsement of Netanyahu

Likud Manhigut Yehudit Jewish Leadership faction head Moshe Feiglin compared the Yesha Council endorsement of Binyamin Netanyahu to a "battered woman returning to her abusive husband."

Feiglin stated that the decision by veteran Yesha leaders Bentzi Lieberman and Pinchas Wallerstein to back Netanyahu is testimony to their achievements in their battle to preserve the communities in Gaza and northern Samaria. Feiglin added that Netanyahu is well-aware that he will be able to carry out the next expulsion, resting assured he will have the backing of the settlement council.


My comments:

What a minute! Wasn't it the YeSh"A Council who brought down Netanyahu back in 1998?

Specificly, I recall that "residents of Ofra" had been involved, and maybe even took a little pride in it.

Included in the list of prominent residents of Ofra, Wallerstein, Uri Elitzur (He's OK, as far as I know), Hayim Falk (the not at all famous #9 on the Mafda"L list), Rav Avi "Don't Pick Arab olives [even though Rav Eliyahu says it's OK, and other rabbanim say there's no such thing as Arab olives]" Gisser (member of the infamous Dovrat Education Comm.). Less prominent residents of Ofra include the Lt. Ravsha"tz Gabbi Biton who turned into the police three teen-aged girls for allegedly letting the air out of the tires of an Arab car or two. He then took time out of his day to go to the police stn. to fill out forms and provide testimony. If he HAD to do something, why not just call their parents? And where were these cars? The mini Arab (white and green tag) workers parking lot just outside the entrance to the yishuv, and next his wife's restaurant. (Many Arabs enter the yishuv every morning to work.) His wife openly does business with these animals, and even rides around with them in their cars.

Well, that's Ofra, for you. And from my experience, Ofra is not alone in its mamlachti ideas. It has many other yishuvim in its camp of misguided idiocy and self-destruction.

But, I digress... With so-called "religious, Zionist" Jews like these, the Arabs and leftists do not even have to break a sweat to do their evil!

Anyway does this ring all ring a bell? This sure supports the above statement about returning to ones vomit.

Regarding "high-level" jobs, what DID ever happen to Mor-Yosef, also from Ofra? You know the former PeSh"A Council member who removed his beard because he didn't want to look like a "fanati." Did he ever get that job with the Foreign Ministry in exchange for securing that Ofra will never be dismantled? Guess again Mr. Mor-Yosef.

Well, at least the good news is that as usual the YeSh"A Rabbanate has its priorities arranged more appropriately than the PeSh"A Council, placing Torah before all else, including avodah zarah, fascism, and idiocy.

I would hope that we can expect nothing less from our rabbis.

Well, I guess I'd better go out and do my duty as a registered member of the Likud, and vote.

Gee....Whose advice should I follow? The advice of Amei HaAretz or some of the decreasing number of decent Rabbanim in this country?

Yesha Rabbinic Council Calls on Likud Voters to Choose Feiglin

Although the Yesha Council has called on the public to vote for Binyamin Netanyahu, the head of the Rabbinic Council of Yesha (Judea, Samaria and Gaza) has issued an endorsement for Moshe Feiglin.

This is not the first time that Yesha' rabbinic leadership has come out on the opposite side of an issue from the government salaried lay-leaders.

Rabbi Dov Lior, who heads the council, called Sunday night for Likud voters to choose the candidate, "who is faithful to the values of the Nation of Israel and who will strengthen the Jewish identity of the State, who fought the whole way against the cursed Oslo process and against the destruction of Gush Katif and northern Samaria and in the end truth will overcome."
