Yet Another Movie Glorifying Intermarriage

English follows the Hebrew.

Newsweek: Netflix Hit 'You People' Branded 'Horribly Damaging' to Jewish People
BY RYAN SMITH ON 2/1/23

Jonah Hill's new Netflix comedy, You People, has been branded "irredeemable" and "horribly damaging" through its depiction of Jewish people.

The Kenya Barris–directed movie, which was released last month by the streaming giant, stars Hill as Ezra Cohen, a Jewish man who embarks on a romance with Lauren London's Amira Mohammed, a Black Muslim woman.

Their relationship is seen being tested through their respective families' reactions and the cultural differences between the two, with jokes that in many cases lean on stereotypical viewpoints. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth ():
Allison Josephs, Jew in the City, does a very thorough job elaborating on the problems with the film, including negative Jewish stereotypes, minimalization of the Holocaust, normalization of Holocaust denier Louis Farrakhan, may his name begin blotted out, the erasure of past and current Jewish persecution, while pitting Jews against Black people.

In an interview with The Advocate, Kenya Barris, the film's director, co-producer, and co-writer, claims that once Jonah Hill had been dating someone who was from a different culture, and that Hill said that they, the couple, were not the problem. Rather the people around them were. If true, this sounds to me like the typical "I'll do what I want" attitude of many Jews residing in the exile, physically and/or spiritually. I am not willing to say most Jews, since who knows how many of those in the U. S. identifying as Jewish actually are Jewish?

Jacob our forefather (Jews) did the best he could to follow God's will. On the other hand, his twin brother Esau, the forefather of the West, which includes both Christians AND so called progressives, did whatever he wanted. It is Esau's kingdom, Edom, that is the current, and hopefully last exile of the Jewish People. May it end speedily in our days! So Jonah Hill's attitude should come as no surprise.

There's that trendy, contemporary, buzz word again: "identify."

In spite of my continuous advocating for Jews to stop caring so much about what non-Jews think of us, it is it important to note that Barris lumps Hill together with white people, instead of Jews, pretty much erasing Hill's, and by extension our, identity as a people.

Also important to point out, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who portrays the mother of Hill's character, is the granddaughter of Pierre Louis-Dreyfus was a member of a Jewish family from Alsace, served as a cavalry officer and member of the French Resistance during World War II. (Wikipedia)

What on earth was she thinking when she agreed to participate in such a horrendous endeavor?

Many will criticize me for going after Jonah Hill personally. But am I? Am I really reinforcing any negativity with Jewish community or education Hill may have experienced as a child? I sincerely doubt that he gives a rat's tuchus about what I have to say.

At this risk of sounding condescending, I do not blame Jonah Hill, nor even his parents. Assimilation is, and always has been, one of the risks of residing in the golah (exile). In various ways, this insidious trend has been creeping into Israel, since the establishment of the modern State of Israel.

Many of us feeling strongly about being accepted by the non-Jews. Apparently, many of us feel that the only way to accomplish this is by emulating them, even demonstrating that we are better at being non-Jews than they are themselves!

Our so-called right wing seeks love and validation from Christians (Esau); while our left-wing Jews seek the same from Arabs (Ishmael) and European and American progressives (Esau).

I pray that we will increasing look inside ourselves, and eventually to the Heavens, for this love and validation we seek.

I encourage Jonah Hill, and all Jews in his or in similar situations, to give your heritage a second chance. There are plenty of organizations, including Chabad, Aish HaTorah, Young Israel, and the Orthodox Union, which specialize in answering all of those questions you never felt you got satisfactory answers to, or were even just too embarrassed to ask in the first place.

In conclusion, "You People" is, at the very least, yet another advertizement for intermarriage, and attempted justification for all of the intermarriage already so prevalent within the entertainment industry.

Intermarriage does nothing less than prevent Jewish souls from entering this world. No wonder that some of us refer to it as the Second Holocaust.

The Oscars Are Upon Us. So What?

Once again, I go back and forth, as to whether I should be giving Asher Schwartz and the [not always] Jewish Press free publicity.

Oh, well. What the heck.

by Asher Schwartz

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Asher, thanks for pointing out how star struck and materialistic we can be, and that we sometimes worship what we shouldn't be worshiping. At least that's what I got from your comic.

And, unfortunately, I cannot disagree with you.

Even more so, as a native Southern Californian, and one time very materialistic Southern Californian at that, I learned early on how tacky it was to treat celebrities as being on a higher level than everyone else.

We laughed at the tourists, and immigrants from suburbs, and yes, even those from New York City, who did.

It was even tackier to name drop. Anyone who said that he had just met a celebrity, either saw said celebrity in concert, on a talk show with a few hundred other star struck fans, or was simply lying. (Cocaine can do that, you know.) Even referring to celebrities by first name was at best borderline, but really to be avoided.

Instead, we would hint...

Remember that time in '85 in Nichols Canyon when the cops were called?

Or

Why weren't you at the Santa Monica party last night? (The one which had been in the news.)

*"The Santa Monica party" means that there was, after all, only one party of many in Santa Monica that night, which was worth mentioning.

If you didn't get it, then you were irrelevant. If you did get it, then you were probably just pretending that you got it anyway, and were irrelevant, unless you could be of use somehow.

You see, if we put celebrities on a pedestal, then we could never aspire to hang out with them, unless we were lucky enough to become one of the select few groupies, which we would never deign to become.

Mentioning street names and corners instead of cities or neighborhood names really threw people off, and was a sure way to weed out the tourists from the natives.

As a San Diegeño, I was quickly accepted into the fold upon moving to Los Angeles, since Angelinos, and everyone else in the U. S. and around the world, consider all of Southern California to be part of Greater Los Angeles anyway. I just made sure never to be seen rolling my eyes, every time this fallacy happened to be mentioned in conversation.

If you guessed that we were snobs, then you guessed correctly.

But, once you got to know us, and you accepted your place in the greater scheme of things,...beneath us, then you realized just how nice we really were.

If you guessed that we were condescending as well as snobs, then you guessed correctly again.

Seriously, though, Angelinos get a bad rap. They are really quite nice, just annoyed when others,...outsiders that is,...pretended that they're natives.

These individuals were simply not tolerated. But, everyone else was treated very nicely and with those friendly smiles, which everyone always thought were pasted on fakes, but really weren't,...most of the time.

Actually, you know who the nicest Angelinos are? The celebrities themselves. Every celebrity I have met (notice no name dropping?) has been super nice, and genuinely so. I was most impressed with the Oscar nominee standing in back of me in line to get into a club. Why didn't she just go right in? Surely, she would have been recognized. I took the opportunity to turn around casually to smile and say "Hi," which is code for "I'm on the same level as you. Wanna hang out?"

The answer was "no." But, I guess you get the point.

Our priorities were messed up. At least mine were. I had even been exposed to Torah observance as a kid, and even liked it.

Fortunately for me, these messed up priorities were just a phase.

I mean, who cares about who I knew and which clubs I was able to get into? (This was the beginning of the "selectors" in LA. OK. So, we stole the idea from New York,...I think. So, what?)

Or for that matter, who wins the Oscars?

Sure, I do watch movies, and the Oscars can be a helpful guide as to what to watch,...albeit less and less, and that was even before it became overrun by the ultra-Left-wing political agenda.

But, still, how will the results of the Oscars affect the universe?

Not at all.

"Star Wars" vs. Torah

On December 16, the long-awaited seventh film installment of the Star Wars franchise opened in Israel. Tickets were put on sale over a month in advance. The “merch,” associated merchandise soon followed, shirts, bags, dolls, action figures, and other toys.

Someone I know was one of the first in Israel to secure his tickets, calling in his order at 12:01 AM, on the first date of availability. He is your typical “frum modern orthodox” Jew, who grew up in a very large Jewish community in North America. To his credit, he came to Israel at the age of 18, not only studied in yeshivah here, but intends to make his life here. He has put his money where his mouth is.

This person actually knows halakhah, and if he does not know the answer to a particular question, he knows where to look it up. However, he seems to have a robotic attitude to it. In all fairness to him, it seems to me that most Jews do.

I am not going to criticize his fascination with “Star Wars.” Many, if not most, of us these days all have our diversions. I certainly have mine.

Nevertheless, I was surprised at his reaction, when I pointed out to him that the movie theater where he was planning to see “Star Wars” operates on Shabboth.

Yes Planet - Jerusalem
“But it’s the only place where it’s playing, and 3-D I-Max….”

“Other theaters are opened on Shabbos.…”
and the one which really disappointed me was…
“But, I’m not going there on Shabbos., and it's mutar (permissible).”
I simply responded with the obvious, that he was supporting a business which operates on Shabboth.

He could not really respond to this, because he knew that he was. The subject was changed, or he had to go, or something like that. I don’t remember.

The worst part of this story is that his response was not even the worst of them all.

I wonder where “Who cares?” fits in. Is that any better or worse than, “Israel is a democracy?”

“Whatevah! I’ll do what I want!” is even more intellectually honest than either of these responses. In my opinion, this is even better than searching for the right rabbi to give you the answer you want to hear to your question, instead of searching for the correct answer, ie. the truth, whether you like it or not. Of course, none of these is an “orthodox” one.

Well, with the continuous increase in the hijacking of terminology, maybe anything can be considered “orthodox” these days. But, that certainly does not make it Torah.

Terrorists Or Freedom Fighters?

This is the bottom line of what they think.
Arutz 7: Israeli-Arab Actor Defends Hijacker: He Was No 'Terrorist'
Israeli Arab actor at premier of 'Sabena' says Black September hijacker who threatened to murder passengers was 'fighter' for 'stolen' land.
Yoni Kempinski, 8/12/2015
Award-winning Israeli Arab actor George Iskandar spoke with Arutz Sheva on Tuesday night at the premier screening of the film "Sabena" at Cinema City in Jerusalem, and claimed that the Black September terrorist he portrays in the film "isn't a terrorist."

The film recreates the May 9, 1972 hijacking by four Black September terrorists of Sabena Flight 571, a passenger flight arriving from Vienna to Lod Airport with 90 passengers on board, and the ensuing heroic rescue mission by Israeli commandos - including future prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
But Iskandar said, "I don't like this word 'terrorist.'"

Referring to Ali Taha Abu Sanina, who he plays in the movie, he said, "I don't call him a 'terrorist,' I call him a 'fighter,' he's a person who had something stolen from him, something taken from him, and he fights to get it back."
"I can not agree or agree with the way in which he fought. But I don't think that a person who had something stolen from him and fights for it back can be called a 'terrorist,'" he said, terminologically justifying attacks on civilians with the "stealing" of land at Israel's foundation. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Well, it seems that "Israeli Arab" actor George Iskandar believes that land was stolen at the State of Israel's foundation.

How many other "Israeli Arabs" feel the same way? For that matter, how many assimilated Jews feel the same way?

But, I digress...

It also seems that there is still a disagreement as to whether Arab terrorists with Jewish blood on their hands are terrorists or freedom fighters, simply because they have a reason behind their desire to annihilate the Jewish People, and not just attempting to do so for the heck of it.

Prime Minister Menachem Begin
(next to his secret police mugshot)
Former Israeli Prime Ministers Menachem Begin (Etzel) and Yitzhaq Shamir (Lechi) believed that the British were ruling over their land, and wanted to be rid of them in favor of a Jewish government. Were they terrorists or freedom fighters?

Since we have museums dedicated to the Etzel and Lechi, I guess that means that they were freedom fighters.

But, Arabs believe that this is their land, so why do we call them terrorists, and not freedom fighters?

Prime Minister Yitzhaq Shamir
(next to his wanted poster offering a reward for his capture)
The only justification for this differentiation is what the Torah says, that Eretz Yisra'el (Land of Israel) belongs to the Jews, and not the Arabs.

But, as long as we remain wishy-washy about this, and relate to only part of the Torah, and not to the entire Torah, we will continue to remain in this precarious position, of there doubt over our claim to Eretz Yisra'el.

Did we steal Arab land, or did we reconquer it? Why are we afraid to use this word "conquer?" The Arabs are not afraid to use it.

PLO military insignia
The Land cannot belong to both peoples. As we have see countless times in the past, the Arabs do not just want Yehudah, Shomron, and Azza (Judea, Samaria, and Gaza) alone.

They want it all, and they clearly do not want to share it with Jews, let alone allow Jews to be a part of its future, deMOCKratic goverment.

Our fellow, yet confused Jews, indoctrinated into Western, non-Jewish society, and constantly inundated with mixed messages from all around them, are looking for self-identity and self-esteem everything except authentic Judaism. After all, who would even think about search for self-identity and self-esteem in a place where the representatives appear to be just as confused as they are?

Whether searching for self-identity and self-esteem within the so-called "movements" of pseudo-Judaism, as an "American," like many German Jews did in the 1930's, by assimilating into Western culture, or by disappear into a shrine, an ashram, a church, or a mosque, these Jews are lost, and cannot blame them.

With whom would you side, one who is direct and committed to its beliefs, or one who is not?

Which of these sides would appear to you, to have a strong self-identity and high self-esteem?

Until we stand up and say directly that Eretz Yisrael belongs to the Jews, and not just "sort of," or "maybe so," or "partly," then we cannot expect our fellow Jews to stop siding with the Arabs' claim to our Land.

And so, I ask you, were Begin and Shamir terrorists or freedom fighters?

They were fighting for the freedom of our Land, Eretz Yisra'el, so the answer should be a no-brainer.

Hamas: Connecting The Dots

Hamas: the Islamic Resistance Movement

Dot #1: What does the Left-wing Israeli say?
When I saw the recent report on transgendered, Israeli pop star and left-wing poster child Dana International's diatribe against Hamas, like many, I thought that Mashi'ah was surely on his way. He very well could be. But it is well worth our time to take a closer look at what Dana International, as well as what she did not say.
Breibart: Transgender Israeli Singer to Europe: 'Shut Your Mouths About Gaza, You Raped the World'
Raheem Kassam, August 7, 2014

...these criticisms have not gone unmatched, with the latest rebuke coming from a former Eurovision song contest winner, and leading transgender icon.

Dana International, who was recently featured on YouTube dancing in a synagogue, issued a firmly-worded statement aimed at Israel's critics. She said: “You need to shut your mouths, you have murdered millions and millions of people throughout history.

"Shut up Dutch people! Shut up Belgians! Shut up British people!

"You conquered half of the world. You raped Africa, you raped half of the world. Bring back Africa's money!

"There is no nation in Europe who can come in guilt free and criticize Israel.

"[Israel] is learning our first steps of normal civilization, normal culture.

"Israel has a different mentality than Europe. Europe had many wars. Now it’s our turn to learn how to become more cultural.”

International's words serve to highlight Europe's alleged hypocrisy in hitting out at Israel. Her point, according to PinkNews, was made during a video interview in the Netherlands, which took place at the Israeli Ambassador's house. It is unlikely that European ministers, who are always quick to hit out against the Jewish State, will heed her words.

(Tip: Jews News)
I do not exactly know what Dana International means by "normal civilization, normal culture," or by "more cultural." I will hazard a guess that it has something to do with being more like the goyim, only not anti-Israel,...theoretically. Like many Jewish endeavors, this could mean outdoing the goyim at their own game,...at being more goyshe than the goyim, an anti-Torah message, if their ever was one.

With the apparent "awakening" of the left-wing in Israel, and the change in tune of a handful of Jew-haters, . In pure, native, leftist denial, they continue to insist that "These Arabs" are different from "Those Arabs."

Thus, this "awakening" of the left is really only an illusion.

Dot #3: "The Green Prince"
The documentary, "The Green Prince," recounts the capture, interrogation, imprisonment, and subsequent "handling" by the Shabba"k (General Security Service AKA: Israeli Secret Police) of Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of Hamas leader Sheikh Hassan Yousef.

Is is any coincidence that the "The Green Prince," has only had its general release seven days ago on August 8, even though it had already been completed ages ago, and had  won the Sundance Film Festival award for Best Documentary back in January?

This Shabbath will be the anniversary in the Gregorian calendar of the Expulsion of Jews from Gaza (inclusive of Gush Qatif).

Was this just a strategic move on the producer's part, capitalizing on the publicity Hamas has been garnering while bombarding Israel with missiles?

By the way, I do not happen to believe that the Shabba"k necessarily has any involvement in such a conspiracy. I believe they have other things with which to concern themselves, which they believe to be more pressing.

Dot #3: What does the Right-wing Israeli say?
This one doesn't even deserve a dot. It's way too boring. But, whatever...

The right-wing Israeli says whatever the internal voice, stemming from his programming indoctrination he received in the Israeli public, "religious" education system, tells him to say.

And, in case of any , there is the fail safe of the numbing calming, collective voice of the puppets "rabbis," on the payroll of the State, as well as those "rabbis," who genuinely confuse the State with Torah. As farfetched as this may seem, these "rabbis" most certainly do exist. Not only that, but they are very popular, charismatic, and effective at making speeches, telling the masses what they want to hear, that which is palatable and easy to digest.

Dot #3: Demon-acracy
Demon-acracy is just one of the many consequences, resulting from the continuous failed attempts at pounding Arab, square peg into a Western, round hole.

Team America: World Police
Parody? Or Documentary?
Is no secret that the U. S. was, and continues to be, very unhappy that democracy backfired on them when Hamas came to power in the Palestinian Authority elections in 2006.

Sure, Hamas risks the lives of its constituents by using them as human shields, that is if children unable to vote count as constituents. Still, Hamas does build hospitals and schools, and provides just enough food to take credit for it, and blame Israel and the rest of the world for what it lacks.

The U. S. Government may or may not have sown the seeds of Hamas. But, they certainly watered and fertilized the terrorist organization, with the enthusiastic collaboration of the Arabs in Gaza.

When will the U. S. Government ever learn? Probably when it is too late, when the battle between Esau (The West) and Yishma'el (Arabs/Muslims) is at it climax,...and only after it sees that its attempted "mating" with Yishma'el does not produce the desired results..
United States Humanitarian Assistance to Gaza
Office of the Spokesperson
Washington, DC
July 21, 2014

Today, Secretary of State John Kerry announced that the United States is providing $47 million to help address the humanitarian situation in Gaza. This assistance includes:
  • An initial $15 million contribution to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in response to UNRWA’s $60 million Gaza Flash Appeal;
  • $3.5 million in emergency relief assistance from USAID’s Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA);
  • $10 million in existing USAID bilateral funding, redirected to meet immediate humanitarian needs; and
  • $18.5 million in new USAID bilateral funding for humanitarian and emergency relief assistance.
These funds will provide critical humanitarian aid, including shelter, food, and medical supplies to Palestinians in Gaza. The United States remains committed to addressing the humanitarian needs of the Palestinian people, and will continue to monitor the humanitarian situation closely.
"Monitor the humanitarian situation closely," perhaps, but not the money trail.

I find it VERY difficult to believe that the U. S. Government is that naive in thinking that the $47 million in "humanitarian" aid will actually be used for humanitarian purposes. A hospital, a school of radical Islamic doctrine, and little bit of food,...the usual pattern.

Perhaps the U. S. believes that a portion of these funds are bound to become unaccounted for anyway; some funds trickling down to the people is better than no funds at all. And besides, to the U. S. Government, Jewish blood seems to be pretty cheap!

Meanwhile...

Dot #4: Friends in Name Only,...Not Even That
The Jewish Press: Obama Holds Up Weapons Transfer to Israel
Tensions between Israel and the Obama administration are at an all-time high.

Rachel Levy, August 14th, 2014

An imminent delivery of Hellfire missiles set to arrive in Israel from the US has been held up by the White House.

Moreover, the transfer of any weapons and other military hardware to Israel, even routine munitions requests, is now being blocked by the State Department and the White House.

In clear language, it means that any form of American military aid – once a ‘given’ by Israel’s “closest friend and ally” – is now being scrutinized by President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, at a time when Israel is facing an enemy supplied by Iran and Syria, and intent on its destruction.

The move has only served to further wind up an already tense relationship between the White House and Israel.

According to an Israeli government official quoted by the Wall Street Journal, “We’ve been there before with a lot of tension with us and Washington. What we have now, on top of that, is mistrust and a collision of different perspectives on the Middle East. It’s become very personal.”

Specifically, the Pentagon blocked delivery of the Hellfire missiles because officials at the White House and in the State Department were worried about the reaction of Palestinian Arabs in the US and abroad, according to the report.

The WSJ article cited a number of past conflicts between the Obama administration and the Netanyahu government. It then went on, however, to say the straw that broke the camel’s back had to do with the attack near the UNRWA school in Gaza.

“The watershed moment came in the early morning in Gaza July 30. An Israeli shell struck a United Nations school in Jabaliya that sheltered about 3,000 people. Later that day, it was reported in the U.S. that the 120-mm and 40-mm rounds had been released to the Israeli military,” WSJ reported.
A US diplomat complained about being “blindsided” and officials at the White House and State Department were disturbed by what they considered a risk to regional stability and Israel’s interests due to a “humanitarian catastrophe,” according to the report.

However, no one was blindsided. The Israelis filed a routine request for munitions as they always did. Israeli bureaucracy is famous for its automated mentality, which is set in motion months in advance. Even the draft notices for upcoming 18-year-olds begin two years earlier – at age 16 – and then are sent out six months before the actual appointment.

“There was no intent to blindside anyone. The process for this transfer was followed precisely along the lines that it should have,” the official said.

But with regard to the July 30 attack, the information was reported from Gaza inaccurately from the start, deliberately manipulating and inciting American officials.

Pallywood wins again – but it is a bit odd that top government officials could so easily be misled, unless it’s an active choice on their part.

That’s not the fault of American media but rather due to the Hamas propaganda machine and the willingness of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) to collaborate.

It’s also due to the need for journalists to stay alive; there have been more than a few reporters who have managed to leave Gaza and later were courageous enough to admit they were threatened with death if they were to photograph, let alone report, the truth of what they were doing to their own civilians there.

The lone shell that was fired struck outside the school compound, as was already admitted by at least one UNRWA official in a tweet several hours after the event.
This report from Rachel Levy was not bad, albeit to kind to everyone involved, and no information was provided regarding the munitions hidden in this UN "schools," nor reminders of previous UN collaborations with Arab terrorist organizations.

And, by the way, before we start blaming Obama and Kerry for everything -- and I certainly do not mind blaming them -- I must say that this all just part of the illusion of significant differences between Democrats' and Republicans' attitudes toward Israel (and Jews).

Ronald Reagan was perhaps the least worst. Yet let us not forget the Iran Contra Affair (AKA: Iran Contra Mess). Which would have been worse? That he knew about it? Or that he did not know about it?

George Bush, Sr. threatened Prime Minister Shamir, if he did stop building in Yehudah and Shomron.(We're still here, by the way!) He insisted on Israeli "restraint" during the first Persian Gulf War

George Bush, Jr. sold us out for Arab oil.

All of them made a mess of Iran and Iraq. Donald Rumsfeld is Saddam Hussein's buddy one, day, and enemy the next.

There isn't any significant difference. As far as I am concerned, anyone who does not see the following map as Israel,...

...and the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down, and shall strike upon the slope of the sea of Kinnereth eastward; and the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the goings out thereof shall be at the Salt Sea; this shall be your land according to the borders thereof round about.' And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying: 'This is the land wherein ye shall receive inheritance by lot, which the LORD hath commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe; for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers' houses, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers' houses, have received, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance; the two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sun-rising....' Numbers 34:11-15

...is anti-Israel. I guess that is not saying too much about members of the Israeli Government, either, does it?

Although perhaps the Democrats are just more open about their vile hatred for us....
Conservative Tribune: Obama Supports Charging Israel With “War Crimes”
(Tip: Destination Green Hill)
War crimes? What are we supposed to do? Roll over and die? (חו״ח) Apparently....

But, I digress...

The most important piece of information I believe Rachel Levy mentioned in her report was...
...but it is a bit odd that top government officials could so easily be misled, unless it’s an active choice on their part.
Just as I point out above, regarding the fate of "humanitarian" aid, funneled in through Arab terrorists, the question is...
Are members of the U. S. Government really that stupid, or are they evil?
Food for thought....

Dot #6: Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu
I have yet to figure out what this man's motivations are. People like former Israeli President Shimon Peres are much easier to figure out.

In any event, it appears that, for whatever reason, PA President Mahmud Abbas is being made out to look like the "Good Arab." This is supported by the Left above, cursing Hamas, and yet still "loving" the Arabs more than themselves.

This map of PA President Mahmud Abbas's vision should say it all. But even this in-your-face map has difficulties penetrating the deep denial of Jews, implanted within us by the Exile, and by those collaborators insistent on our remaining there...

PA President Mahmud Abbas's vision for a Palestinian State, ie. absent of any Jewish state.

Connecting the Dots
Well, if you have been paying attention, you will see that...

The U. S. is not our friend, and never has been. It has only helped us when it supported its agenda. From the arrival of the colonists to the "promised land," to the "manifest destiny" of the Polk Administration, even the toying with the idea of using Hebrew as the official language of the U. S., the West has been waiting in the wings to challenge Israel for its birthright.

Holocaust denier and one of the masterminds behind the Munich Olympic Massacre of 11 Israeli athletes, Mahmud Abbas is now the "Good Arab?"

"These Arabs" or "Those Arabs," take your pick. Either way, Israel is simply repeating the same mistakes over again, expecting different results.

Nothing has changed, only some of the details and strategies to make us think that they have changed.

Israel is on the same co-dependent path toward self-destruction.

As Rabbi Me'ir Kahane ztz"l (OOOOH! There's that "scary" name! Scary, out of ignorance, and defensiveness of the Western-assimilationst mindset....) teaches in his book Listen World, Listen Jew, the strategy of assimilation, of trying to be just like the goyim, and seeking their acceptance, has not been working for us, at least not since our significant presence in Spain, and subsequent expulsion.

So, how about trying a different strategy already?

Let's try to live like Jews, instead of like goyim?

And, how do we do that? The instructions are right in front of us. We just have to pick them up, and study them.

Instructions of how to live like a Jew are all in Torah.

Sean Penn To The Rescue

Noted actor, director, and writer has done a lot of crazy, liberal stuff in his day, including his visit to Iraq, his defense of the late Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. The list is just too long to post here.

Most of us first became familiar with Penn through his notable performance in the 1982 film "Fast Times at Ridgemont High," playing a stereotypical Southern Californian teenager, forcing those of us who were growing up in Southern California at the time to ask ourselves, "Do we really act that way?"

The answer for most of us was, "Yeah, but who cares?"

in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High"
The movie was supposedly based on Claremont High School in San Diego, although many claim the film was based on their high schools.

But, now it seems that he has set his antics aside, both on and off stage, and put his "social activism" to work, for the sake of a religious Jew, Jacob Ostreicher, who has been imprisoned in Bolivia for almost two years.

Actor suggests putting pressure on sponsors of money-making Dakar Rally to reroute race until Jacob Ostreicher freed

May 22, 2013

WASHINGTON (JTA) — Actor Sean Penn urged a congressional hearing to pressure Bolivia to release a haredi Orthodox father of five under house arrest in the country.

Penn appeared Monday at a hearing on the case of Jacob Ostreicher of Brooklyn, who has been held nearly two years in Bolivia on accusations that he was in business with drug traffickers and money launderers. No proof has ever been provided in court....
I am still in shock, although pleasantly so, and wondering what the news reports must have left out. Does he have some kind of special pull in South America? Was he contacted, and asked to use his influence? Does Penn have ulterior motives? Given his history, what else am I supposed to think?

Penn even suggested financial pressure through the re-routing of a big money-making race. Is this just an opportunity to cancel a polution creating race through potentially, environmentally sensitive areas? Farfetched, perhaps, but I do not know what to think!
Jacob Ostreicher with his children
...Penn urged Congress to write letters to the corporate sponsors of the Dakar Rally motorcycle race, which in 2014 for the first time will go through Bolivia. As the race is a huge moneymaker for the participating countries, Penn said pressure should be exerted on the sponsors to demand the release of Ostreicher.
If Ostreicher is not freed, Penn said, the race should be rerouted to avoid Bolivia, depriving it of money and positive publicity....
His statement below hammers this idea home.

...The actor said he was “not only personally and thoroughly convinced of Mr. Ostreicher’s innocence, but particularly alarmed by a consensus both among Bolivian officials that the unevidenced prosecution against Jacob Ostreicher was standard operating procedure in the fundamentally corrupt Bolivian judiciary....”
Is the Bolivian governmental regime far right-wing or far left wing these days? I stopped keeping track when I was a teenager. While my family and I were traveling through South America, Bolivia had three different presidents within the span of one month.  If I remember correctly, one of the changeovers was even the result of a coup d'etat, shortly after we left Bolivia.

I ask this, because if it is far-left, then it would not only go against Penn's pattern of pals, but would also be "Hollywood Politically-Incorrect," a fate far worse for actors than just everyday "politically-incorrect." Of course, Penn has the clout to risk. But, why would he?

Is he really just doing the right thing?

And, with that I say a cautious,... If he succeeds in the misswah of pidyon shevuin (redeeming the captive) getting Jacob Ostreicher released, then more power to him,...but not too much.

Star Trek XI

Mossa'ei Shabbath Qodesh Parshath Wayesse 5768

And, now for something completely different...

Chris PineThe casting of the major roles for the the new Star Trek film has been completed, with the casting of Chris Pine as the young Star Fleet Cadet, James T. Kirk.

William Shatner as Capt. KirkThe 11th installment of the Star Trek films will take us back to Captain Kirk's Star Fleet Academy days, and recount the story of how he meets his future Enterprise crew: Spock, Dr. McCoy, Scottie, Sulu, Uhura, and Chekov.

Karl Urban as EomerIn addition to Chris Pine, th cast will include actors such as Karl Urban as Dr. McCoy. Urban should look familiar to you. He played Eomer in the second and third installments of the Lord Of The Rings films.

Zachary QuintoAnother actor who should look familiar is Zachary Quinto as Mr. Spock. Quinto plays the role of Sylar on the hit TV series "Heroes," and before that had a role on "24."

And, this just in, Wynona Rider has been slated to play Amanda, Spock's human mother.

Only one major casting question remains, who will play Capt. Christopher Pike, the captain of the USS Enterprise sometime after Jonathan Archer and before James T. Kirk.

Personally, I am also curious to know if Nurse Christine Chapel, the character created by Majel Barret, the late Gene Roddenberry's widow will appear in Star Trek XI.

Now that the casting is almost complete, I am starting to get a little nervous. i hoe that there is a method to their casting. I hope they have Star Trek mavens (Trekkers), like myself, on board, people who actually know the details of the Star Trek Series and films. They can help keep this film consistent with previously established story lines.

For example, Dr. McCoy is much older than the rest of the crew, and should have graduated already, stuff like that.

I have a felling that this film will either be really good, or really suck.

OK. We now return you to your regularly scheduled, right-wing, Israeli blog....
