Dave Portnoy, welcome to the club! ...Or rather, congratulations on the renewal of your membership to the Antisemitic Target Club.

And no, neither am I making fun nor am I minimalizing what you and other Jews in the U. S. go through on an increasingly regular basis.

I will hazard a guess that you are defending you place an American to reside in peace and tranquility in your homeland.

Well, in spite of so many of my fellow Jews here in Israel claiming that my pleas to you will fall on deaf ears, please indulge me.

The U. S. is not your homeland; is. And, as I have stated so many times, even with all of the flaws of the goverment and regime currently in control of it, the Land of Israel is your only, true homeland.

I am afraid that is one thing I cannot offer you in Israel, is really good pizza. I mean, there are acually a few decent pizza joints here. They are just not what you are probably used to in America. And, anytime anyone tries to open up a New York or Chicago style pizza joint, they never last very long. I am sure that California style* wouldn't have half a chance here either.

*Missing Mossarella's [kosher] whole garlic, artichoke heart, and marinated eggplant [kosher] pizza, San Diego, CA.

But, hey. Maybe you can offer it here, when you open your new sports bar!

There aren't very many sports bars in Israel. With your experience, yours could rise to be the most popular. Just think of what an exciting challenge it would be to open up a sports bar in Israel.  הערב בפריז יתקיים טקס פתיחת האולימפיאדה המודרנית ה-33. השנה יציינו באולימפיאדה כמה מאפיינים משמעותיים.

מדליות
אני תוהה אם מותר בכלל ליהודי לקבל מדלית האולימפיאדה (להלן) השנה בגלל "האלה" מאחורה (לא בתמונה). עכשיו כשאני חושב על זה, איזה ציורים היו במדליות של האולימפיאדות בעבר?

וגם למדליות יהיו פיסת ברזל שנאספה מהשיפוצים בעבר של מגדל אייפל. לא סוגדים למגדל אייפל - נכון? -- אבל בהחלט המגדל סמל זר מסוגו.

הספורט השנה ברייקדאנס תחרותי ייכלל באולימפיאדה, בעוד כדור בסיס (בייסבול), כדור בסיס עם כדור רך, וקראטה לא ייכללו? כלומר, ברור שברייקדאנס אתלטי. אבל למה לא קפוארה גם כן?

השתתפות מדינות
"פלסטין" תשתתף. פלסטין מעולם לא הייתה מדינה ריבונית, הערבים פיספסו את ההזדמנות שלהם לקבל מדינה כשהם דחו את תוכנית החלוקה של האו"ם בשנת 1947. מרשים לרוסיה ובלארוס, שהן כן מדינות, לשלוח רק ספורטאים, שנבדקו ואושרו על ידי הוועד האולימפי, בשל היותם בצד הלא נכון של סכסוך צבאי. ואם הספורטאים האלה שיזכו במדליה כלשהי, הם אפילו לא ישמעו את ההמנונים הלאומיים שלהם. תשתתף גם קבוצת הפליטים במשותף.

אני זוכר שבשנת 1980 נשיא ארה"ב ג'ימי קרטר החרים את אולימפיאדה במוסקבה, עקב פלישתה לאפגניסטן. ואז ב-1984, ברית המועצות חזרה בה, על ידי החרמת ה אולימפיאדה שנערכה בלוס אנג'לס.

חשבתי ששניהם החלטות מצערות.

עכשיו יש לנו קריאות ביזוי לנבחרת ישראל בכדורגל מסיבות פוליטיות.

מה קורה למשחקים האולימפיים שאמורים להמנע מלהתיחס לפוליטיקה?

מגדר
האולימפיאדה בפריז נגועת במחלוקת עוד יותר. ארגוני שחייה וקפיצה למים אתלטיקבה קלה, מסלולי ספורט ורכיבה על אופניים הבינלאומיים אינם מאפשרים להתחרות לטרנסיות שעברו התבגרות גברית, .

מערכת שידור ציבורי [PBS] מציגה את המחלוקת הזו כחוסר הכללה, מבלי להתייחס לחוסר ההגינות בכך שהיא מאפשרת לטרנסיות להתחרות בנשים טבעיות. רוב הנשים הטרנסיות עברו התבגרות גברית, מה שהעניק להן יתרונות פיזיים במסת העצם ובשרירים, בין היתר.

וכך, שוב, יש לנו עוד הוכחות לכך שאין שום דבר יהודי במשחקים האולימפיים.

כאמור בהתחלת הכתבה הזו, טקסי הפתיחה יתקיימו הערב. לדברי תומר דבורה (באנגלית), השבת נכנסת בפריז ב-21:19. זה שלוש שעות אחרי שישראל מקבלת לשבת, בהיותה קרובה יותר לקו המשווה, ובאזור זמן שעה קדימה.

זוהי ברכה לשומרי שבת. אנו לא נצפה את זה. עם זאת, עלינו להתפלל לשלומם של הספורטאים שלנו (בני בריתו), לאור האיומים במשחקים, שהתגלו זה עתה, 52 שנים לאחר טבח הספורטאים הישראלים במשחקי מינכן, שבוצע על ידי אנשים כמו מחמוד עבאס יש"ו.

Tonight in Paris, the Opening Ceremonies of the 33rd modern Olympic Games, which will be marked by a few, significant features.

Medals
I wonder if it would even be permissible for a Jew to possess one of these new, Olympic medals (above), as there is the depiction of a "goddess" on the back (not pictured). Now that I think about it, what has been depicted on the medals of previous games?

The medals will also include a piece of iron collected from past refurbishments of the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower may not be worshipped -- is it? -- but it is most definitely a foreign icon of sorts.

Changes In Sports
Competative breakdancing will be included in this year's Olympics, while Baseball, Softball, and Karate will not? I mean, I am not saying that breakdancing is not athletic. It is. But then why not Capoeira?

Country Participation
"Palestine" will be participating. Palestine has never been a sovereign country, the Arabs blowing their chance at a Pseudostine, when they rejected the United Nation's 1947 Partition Plan. Russia and Belarus, which are countries, were allowed to only those athletes, vetted and approved by the Olympic Committee, due being on the wrong side of a military conflict. And if these athletes win any medal, they will not even hear their own national anthems played. The collective team of refugees will also be participating. 

I remember when the U. S., under the President Jimmy Carter, boycotted the Moscow Olympics, due to its invasion of Afghanistan. Then in 1984, the USSR reciprocated, by boycotting the Games held in Los Angeles.

I thought that both were unfortunate decisions.

Now we have booing of the Israeli soccer team for political reasons.

What happen to the apolitical Olympic Games? Were they ever?

Gender
The Olympic Games in Paris will be tainted with even more controversy. International swimming and diving, track and field, and cycling organizations do no allow transwomen, who have gone though male puberty, to compete.

PBS, the source of much of the information presented here, framed this controversy as lack of inclusion, without addressing the lack of fairness by allowing transwomen to compete against biological women. Most transwomen have gone through male puberty, providing them with physical advantages in bone mass and musculature, among other things.

And so, yet again, we have even more evidence that there is nothing in the least bit Jewish about The Olympic Games.

As stated at the beginning, the Opening Ceremonies will take place tonight. According to Tomer Devorah, Shabbat does not come in, in Paris until 9:19 PM. This is three hours after Israel takes in Shabbat, being closer to the Equator, and in a timezone one hour ahead.

This is a blessing for those of us who observe Shabbat, including refraining from using electronic devices. We will not be tempted to watch. However, we should pray for the safety of our athletes (בני בריתו), given the threats at the Games, which have just come to light, 52 years after the massacre of Israeli athletes at the Munich Games, perpetrated by the likes of Mahmud Abbas ysh"w.

מה לעשות לגרפיטי שנאת יהודים? / What Should We Do With Anti-Semitic Graffiti?

הסרטון להלן שודר במהלך סופרבול, משחק הגמר השנתי בין שתי הקבוצות בראש ליגת כדורגל אמריקאי.

בשנות ה-80 אותו הדבר קרה למשפחתי. מצאנו צלב קרס מצויר על שביל הכניסה ביתנו ליד המילה ״יהודי״. שוטרי המשטרה הגיעו לחקור את זה ואמרו לנו שמה שקרה לא סתם על ידי ילדים טיפשים. פנס הרחוב נהרס, ככל הנראה כדי לעזור לעברינים להסתתר בזמן הציור. אמא שלי התעקשה שלא נצבע עליו עד שכל השכנים ברחוב שלנו הגיעו וראו את זה.

אני גדלתי בשכונה במחוז סן דייגו, קליפורניה שבה היו כמה איטלקים ופורטוגזים, אבל בעיקר אירים. הם יכלו להזדהות איתנו על מה שקרה אבל לא במאה אחוז.

ולכן, יש לי קצת בעיה עם הסרטון הזה. הוא נותן ליהודי ארה״ב תחושת תקווה כוזבת.

היהודים רק צריכים לצאת מארה"ב כבר. אני מקווה שהפרסומת הנפוצה הזו לא מעודדת יותר מדי יהודים להשאר בהכחשה, וגם לא באמונה ששכנים הגוים ירוצו להציל אותם. זה ממש כשאנו התקבלנו בברכה על ידי מדינות מסוימות לאחר גירושנו מספרד ופורטוגל. אחרי כמה זמן תושבי המדינות החדשות שלנו התחילו לרדוף אותנו.

מי שמאמין שהמצב שונה בארה"ב הוא טועה בגדול.

ההכחשה והשאננות ואפילו אפשר להגיד שותפות בדבר של היהודים בארה"ב ובמדינות אחרות פשוט מעכבות את יציאתם מהגולה למולדתם האמיתית היחידה, ארץ ישראל.

The video above was aired during the Super Bowl on Sunday.

In the 1980s, the same thing happened to my family. We found a swastika painted on our driveway next to the word Jew. The police came out to take a report, and told us that this was not just some kids being stupid. The street light had been knocked out, presumably to help them stay hidden while painting. My mother insisted that we not paint over it, until every neighbor on our street had come by to see it.

I grew up in a primarily Catholic neighborhood in San Diego County, CA. There a few Italians and Portuguese, but mosly Irish. To a degree they could relate... to a degree.

And so, I take some issue with this commercial, and the false sense of hope is gives Jews.

Jews just need to get out of the U. S. already. I hope this widely seen commercial does not keep too many Jews in denial, nor in the hope that their non-Jewish neighbors will save them. This is no different than when we were welcomed by certain countries after our expulsion from Spain and Portugal. It was only a matter of time, before the residents of our new countries were to turn on us.

It is a grave error to believe that the U. S. is any different.

The denial, complacency, and dare I say complicity of the Jews in the U. S. and elsewhere only delays their departure for their only true homeland, the Land of Israel.

למרות סיום הצום החמישי (ט׳ באב) כדאי לנו להמשיך לזכור את חורבן בית המקדש היומיומי

״...אמרו כל דור שאינו נבנה בימיו מעלין עליו כאילו הוא החריבו. (תלמוד ירושלמי דף ה,א פרק א הלכה א גמרא).

אם אתם לא כבר בוכים או כועסים על חורבן המקדש, אז הסרטון הזה צריך לגרום לכם להרגיש כמו שצריכים. לגרום לכם לבכות, לזעום, ולצעק!

אבל לא כדאי לצעק בקול רם מדי. וכדאי להזהר על המילים היוצאות מהפה. למה? מפני שכוחות השלטון מוכנים לסבול אך ורק מצעקות וממילים לא יפות ממפגינים ששונאים, מסלפים, או מנסים למחוק את התורה. הם לא מוכנים לסבול מכך מיהודים מסוימים שמכבדים את הקב״ה ותורתו יותר מהמדינה. בסופו של דבר, יש חשש שיהודים כאלה שמפגינים למען צדק להר הבית יגיעו לבית כלא. חס וחלילה!

ואותם כוחות השלטון האלה מאשימים את היהודים מסוימים האלה בשנאת חינם. ואת העניין הזה של שנאת חינם הם מוציאים מהתלמוד מפרשים את זה מחוץ להקשרו ומסלפים את זה.

יהודים שעולים להר הבית כדאי לזכור העליה למקום הקדוש הזה לא סתם הזדמנות להצטלם. אלא היא מעשה חשוב ורציני מאוד.

In spite of the recent completion of the Fast of the Fifth Month (Tisha b'Av) this year, it is incumbant upon us to continue to be aware of the daily destruction of the Holy Temple.

"...They said, any generation in which it is not rebuilt is debited as if it had destroyed it." (Jerusalem Talmud 1:1)

If you are not already weeping or enraged over the Holy Temple's destruction, then this video should make you feel the way you should be feeling. Cry, get angry, yell!

But you should not shout too loudly. And you should be careful about the words that come out of your mouth. Why? Because the powers that be are willing to tolerate shouting and unkind words only from protestors who hate, misrepresent, or try to cancel the Torah. They are simply unwilling to tolerate any protestations from those Torah observant Jews, who hold the Almighty and His Holy Torah in higher authority than the State. In the end, you might end up in jail for daring to question any actions by the so-called democratic State! God forbid! 

And yet these same powers that be accuse these Torah-observant Jews of baseless hatred, a concept extracted from the Talmud, taken out of context.

And to those Jews who do ascend Har HaBayith (the Temple Mount), you should remember that going up to this Holy place is not just a photo opp. Rather it is a very important and very serious act.

שר התיירות מחה על היחס שזוכים לו ישראלים רבים שאינם יהודים לפי ההלכה ולא יכולים להתחתן בארץ. "גאווה על הפודיום, סוג ב' מתחת לחופה", כתב בעקבות דבריה של אמו של האלוף. "לא צריך לקבל אישור או דחייה מהרבנות"

...דבריו של השר [התיירות יואב רזבוזוב] נכתבו בעקבות הריאיון עם אמו של ארטיום, אנג'לה בילן, שסיפרה כי בנה מחויב להתחתן בחוץ לארץ עם בת זוגו שאינה יהודייה, ועד כה לא יכול לעשות זאת בשל שגרת האימונים וסגירת הגבולות. "המדינה לא נותנת להתחתן", סיפרה בילן ברדיו 103, "הם גרים ביחד שלוש שנים אבל צריך לצאת ולא נותנים. היא לא מפה, היא מבלרוס". גם דולגופיאט עצמו שגדל כיהודי, אינו יהודי לפי ההלכה - אלא רק מהצד של אביו. "סבתא שלו יהודייה ומבחינתנו הוא יהודי לגמרי", אמרה האם...

כולם משבחים את ארטיום דולגופיאט, ספורטאי הזכה מדליית זהב בגימנסטיקה. קוראים לו גיבור ישראל וכולם בוכים שהרבנות הראשית של [מדינת] ישראל לא נותן לו להתחתן עם בת זוגו. למה? מפני שהוא לא יהודי? מפני שהיא לא יהודייה? לא! מפני ששניהם לא יהודים! אז מה הבעיה? הם יכולים להתחתן בכניסייה אורתודוקסית רוסית.

אם זהותו יהודית חשובה לו עד כדי כך, אז למה הו רוצה להתחתן עם אישה לא יהודייה? ולמה הוא לא רוצה לעבור את תהליך הגיור? אולי מפני שמה שלימדו אותו כיהדות היא לא יהדות בכלל.

תומר דבורה שואלת אם הם ביחד שלוש שניםלמה הם לא התחתנו כבר? הם נוסעים בכל רחבי העולם. לא היתה להם ההזדמנות לקבל תעודת נשואין אזרחי? או לא פשוט לא היה מספיק חשוב להם?

כל זה לא אשמת דולגופיאט. הוא לא החליט לעלות לארץ ישראל, זאת אומרת ארץ מולדת עם ישראל. אלא ההורים שלו בני נשואין תערובת החליטו כך.

עכשיו כדאי להזכיר לכם על אחד העניינים הראשונים שרה״מ לשעבר אריאל שרון הסכים לתת לעלות לדיון. והוא היה שינוי בחוק השבות. הרב ח״כ בני אלון ז״ל העלה את זה לדיון. ולפי שרון, העניין עלה לדיון, לא עבר הצבעת הקבינט. ניסינו. לא הצלחנו. וזהו נגמר. לדעתי הוא לא השתדל לשנות את חוק השבות בכלל.

אני לא מאמין במקריות. פרשת ״קושי דולגופיאט להתחתן בארץ״ (אפילו שהוא כן יכול) מתפרסמת הרבה בשל הרפורמות הנוכחיות שנכפות על הרבנות הראשית על ידי הממשלה. הפרסום הזה מבשר את ההתקפות הבאות נגד התורה על ידי הממשלה ובג״ץ. בואו נראה אם דולגופיאט ישמש בתור נציג המאבק למען נישואין תערובת בישראל.

לינוי אשרם גם זכתה מדליית זהב, וכפי שזה קורה, היא באמת יהודייה. והיא זכתה את המדלייה שלה בשבת. מה זה אומר על האולימפיאדה ועל תחרות ספורט בינלאומית בכלל?

ואין וכן צריך לומר שבגד התעמלות אומנותית בכלל לא צנועה. בת ישראל אמורה להתלבש ככה?

עודה פעם אני חייב להדגיש זה לא אשמת אשרם על מעשיה אלא היא אשמת מערכת החינוך הממלכתי.

לונה צ'מטאי-סלפטר השתתפה בריצה כנציגת מדינת ישראל. נולדה בקניה היא לא יהודייה אבל נשואה ליהודי. היא הגיעה ארצה כדי לעבוד בשגרירות קניה. מיכל הרצוג רעייתו של נשיא מדינת ישראל אמרה לה "את גיבורה אמיתית בשבילנו"

צופים ישראלים גם התרגשו כשהמאמן הכדורסל של איראן נתן יד למאמן קבוצת הכדורסל של צ׳כיה שהוא ישראלי. באמת יש מאמינים שהמאמן האיראני נתן יד לישראלי בכוונה? באמת?! התמונת התרחשות זו הופיעה מייד בהרבה כתבות על ידי אנשי ״הסברה.״

ועכשיו כדאי להזכיר לכם על עוד משהו, היסטוריית האולימפיאדה לגבי היהודים. הספורטאים באולימפיאדה השתתפו בערום. רק גברים השתתפו ורק גברים ניתנו להכנס לצפות. היו לנשים תחרות ספורט שלהן, ״חגיגת הֶרַאִיָה״ על שם האלילה היוונית ״הֶרָה.״

יהודים שרצו להשתתף עברו תהליך לשחזר עורלתם או דרך משיכת העורלה מטה או דרך ניתוח להסתיר ליוונים את זהותהיהודים שרצו להשתתף באולימפיאדה או ואפילו להכנס לגימנסיה עברו תהליך לשחזר עורלתם או דרך משיכת העורלה מטה או דרך ניתוח להסתיר ליוונים את זהות יהודית שלהם. זאת אומרת הם ביטלו את ברית מילה שלהם.

הנה האולימפיאדה: משתתפים לא יהודיים נציגי מדינת ישראל, יהודים זוכים מדליות בשבת והיסטוריה של ביטול ברית מילה על ידי יהודים שרצו להשתתף. כל הדברים אלה מוכיחים שאין שום דבר יהודי בכלל על האוליפיאדה. אלא האולימפיאדה היא סמל ענק של התבוללות ולא רק התבוללות הלניסטית. ישראלים צועקים בגאווה שהם עם כמו כל אומות העולם ורוצים להתקבל כך.

כמה יהודים יודעים באמת שחג חנוכה נולד בזכות ניצחון במלחמה נגד התבוללות?

אולי הספורטאים הנזכרים לעיל כן גיבורי מדינת ישראל. אבל הם לא גיבורי עם ישראל. אלא הם סמלים של נשואין תערובת, דוגמאות התבוללות, ותוצאות של מערכת החינוך הממלכי ושל האסטרטגיות להסיר את האופי היהודי וההשפעה היהודית (תורנית) ממדינת מארץ ישראל.

בטח שהתרגשנו ממרק שפיץ, סנדי קופקס ומספורטאים יהודים אחרים. הם ועוררו לנו השראה. הגענו לכושר גופני טוב יותר. הדימוי העצמי שלנו עלה. הבנו שיש לנו יכולת אפשרית להפוך להיול לוחמים יהודים בנוסף להיות חכמים. אבל, לתחרויות ספורט יש גבול.

בשנת תשנ"ו/1996 אחרי ששמעון פרס הפסיד בבחירות לבנימין נתניהו, הוא השיב לשאלה עיתונאית לאחר: "מי הפסיד?" באומרו כי "הישראלים" הפסידו ו"היהודים" ניצחו.

עכשיו אנחנו צריכים להגיד שהישראלים זכו וניצחו באולימפיאדה, אבל היהודים הפסידו.

Everyone is heaping praise onto Artem Dolgopyat, an athlete who won a gold medal in gymnastics. He is called the Hero of Israel and everyone cries that the Chief Rabbinate of the State of Israel does not let him marry his partner. Why? Because he is not a Jew? Because she's not Jewish? No! Because they are both non-Jews! so whats the problem? They can get married in a Russian Orthodox church.

If a Jewish identity is so important to him, then why does he want to marry a non-Jewish woman? And why does he not want to go through the conversion process? Maybe because what he has been taught him as Judaism is not Judaism at all.

Tomer Devorah asks, if they've been together for three years, why haven't they gotten married already? They travel all over the world. Didn't they have the opportunity to have a civil marriage? Or was it just not important enough to them?

None of this controversy is the fault of Dolgopyat. It wasn't his decision to immigrate to the Land of Israel, that is, the homeland of the Jewish People. That was the decision of his mixed-married parents.

At this point, we should remind ourselves of a piece of recent history concerning the Law of Return (mentioned above). When now deceased, former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was first elected one, the Law of Return was one of the first issues he agreed to bring up for discussion. Rabbi MK Benny Alon z"l raised the issue. And according to Sharon, the matter did not pass the Cabinet. We tried, and that's it. In my not so humble opinion, Ariel Sharon didn't try very hard at all.

It is no coincidence that Dolgopyat's inability to marry in Israel, even though he can, has been heavily publicized. This is due to the current reforms being forced upon the Chief Rabbinate, forebodes the Government and Supreme Court's next assault on the Torah. Let's watch and see if Dolgopyat will be used as Israel's intermarriage poster boy.

Linoy Ashram also won a gold medal for the State of Israel. And she actually happens to be Jewish. She also happens to have won her medal on Shabbat (the Jewish Sabbath). What does this tell you about the Olympics, and about international sports competition in general?

Needless to say, Unfortunately, it actually is necessary to mention that rhythmic gymnastics outfits, such as worn by Ashram, are not in the least bit modest. Is this how a Bat Yisrael (Jewish woman) is supposed to dress? 

Once again I must emphasize it is not Ashram's fault for her actions. Rather it is the fault of the State's education system, and objective to reduce the Jewish nature of the State of Israel.

Born in Kenya, and originally coming to Israel to work at the Kenyan embassy, Luna Chamtai-Salpeter represented the State of Israel in track. She is not Jewish, but is married to a Jew. Michal Herzog, the wife of the State of Israel's President told her, "You are a true hero for us."

Israeli Olympic spectators also got super excited over the Iranian basketball coach who shook hands with the Czech basketball team coach who happens to be Israeli. Do people really believe that the Iranian basketball coach intentionally shook hands with an Israeli? Seriously?! Photos of this incident immediately made it into articles by those involved with "Hasbara" (co-dependent PR).

And now it bears reminding ourselves of the original Olympics regarding the Jews. The Athletes participated at the Olympics naked. Only men participated, and only men were allowed in as spectators. The women had their own athletic competition, the Heraean Games, named for the Greek goddess Hera.

Jews who wanted to participate in the Olympics, or even enter the gymnasium, hid their Jewish identity from the Greek, either by stretching their foreskin or restoring it through surgery, thus purposefully undoing their brith milah (ritual circumcision).

So, here we have it: Non-Jewish participants representing the Jewish State, Jews winning medals on Shabbat and a history of canceling ones brith milah by those Jews wanting to participate. All of these aspects demonstrate that there is nothing in the least bit Jewish about Jewish participation in the Olympics. Rather the Olympics are nothing more than an embarrassing symbol of assimilation. Israeli citizens proudly shout that they are a people like all other nations of the world and desperately want to be accepted as such.

How many Jews actually know that Hanukkah is a holiday born out of a war against such assimilation?

Perhaps the athletes mentioned above are indeed heroes of the State of Israel, but they are not heroes of the people of Israel, the Jewish People. Rather, they are symbols of intermarriage, examples of assimilation, and the results of the Israeli Mamlakhti (statist) educational system and of the objective to remove Jewish character and Torah influence from the State of Israel.

Sure, Mark Spitz, Sandy Kofax, and other Jewish athletes excited and inspired us. We got into better physical shape. We raised our self-image. We realized we had the potential to become Jewish warriors, as well as scholars. But, sports competitions have their limits.

In 1996, after losing the premiership to Benjamin Netanyahu, Shimon Peres was asked by a journalist, "Who lost?" Peres responded, "Israelis." He was then asked, "Who won?" To this, he responded, "The Jews," clearing differentiated between the two.

Now we can say that it was the Israelis who won at the Olympics, but it was the Jews who lost.

There is nothing in the least bit Jewish about the Olympics.

The message of the purchase of 50 percent interest in the Beitar Yerushalayim Football (Soccer) Club by members of the United Arab Emirates Royal Family is quite clear: 

We can buy you Jews and your property. We can control you, Jews. And you, Jews, are going to let us do it!

And why are we going to let them buy us and control us? Because our desperate, co-dependent need for love and validation from non-Jews is worth more to us than our own self-respect. This love and validation isn't even real! And to received this love we are required to compromise on our Holy Torah.

Just like Arafat ymsh"w the Terrorist learned how to lie more effectively from the West, so too have have our new "Arab friends" learned more effective strategies from the West, in particular from Christians:

Money is a good weapon. But, a wink and a smile are even better ones.

The door has been opened for Arabs to start buying up Israel. Why should they shed any blood at all in their endeavor to conquer Israel, when they don't have to?

What better way to start than to buy a football team which was known for its all-Jewish team, and nationalist ideals?

Currently the Jewish People is made up of many races (Hebrew, Caucasian, African, Asian, South Asian, and even Arab). Beitar Yerushalayim fans are hardly racist. They are nationalist, and want to maintain the Jewish character of the supposedly Jewish State, currently in control of the Divinely Promised, Jewish Homeland.

These days, anyone opposed to the marriage of a Jew with non-Jew, in violation of God's Holy Torah, is considered a racist.

No one cares about the fans visiting from Um Al-Fahm chanting in the video above (2013):

"With spirit, with blood, we will redeem Aqsa!"* . 

*refers to the Al-aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount

The lame excuse used for not bringing these fans to justice, over their calling for the murder of Jews because of their control of the Temple Mount, is their lack of understanding of Arabic.

It's a pretty lame excuse, considering all of the members of Knesset (Israel's Parliament) calling for increased Arabic studies in Jewish schools.

Let's face it. The Abraham Accords are none other than the rejection of Jacob (Israel) as Abraham's spiritual and physical heir, the bringing of Isaac's brother Ishmael (Arabs/Muslims) and Jacob's brother Esau (The West, both conservative AND progressive) back into the equation.

The Abraham Accords is code for the unification of Ishmael and Esau, the de-Jewification of the Land of Israel, and the Land's subsequent assimilation into a globalist entity.

Prophesy strongly suggests an all out war between the two. Let us pray that we Jews finally wake up, and get out of their way, before that happens.

In the meantime, please ask yourselves if you want to be proud Jews? Or proud mascots?

במעשה נדיר של נורמליות, ממשלת ישראל,דרך משרד הבריאות שלה, אישרה לא לעטות מסכות עד לסופ"ש בכיתות ובמרחב הציבורי, בגלל הטמפרטורות הגבוהות מאוד ולא רגילות לעונה הזו, והקבלה שהיתרונות הבריאותיים ללא ללבוש מסכה יותר חזקות מכל היתרונות של ללבוש אחת בחום כזה הן.

אתמול ראיתי שרוב האנשים בתל אביב עשו שימוש בפטור הזמני הזה של המסכה. ולא ראיתי את אף אחד חבש מסכה, מתלונן בפני מי שלא לבש, אפילו לא באוטובוס או בחללים סגורים.

נמאס לנו.

התמונות (למטה) צולמו ביום ג', יום אחד לפני שהוסר האיסור לשחות בים .אין שום ספק שכמה מכם יגידו שהישראלים פשוט עושים את מה שרוצים לעשות ושלא אכפת להם מהחוקים. לפי הנסיון שלי זה לא נכון. ולפני שאחד מכם יתחיל לבזות את מגזר מסוים בעמנו, חילונים, דתיים לאומיים, חרדים, או לספר עליו בשבח כאילו הם גיבורים, אני אגיד לכם שהיו משתתפים מרחבי המגזרים למרד השקט הזה.

הממשלה אסרה לנו להיכנס לים, למרות שהנגיף הזה לא יכול לחיות במליחות הגבוהה. הממשלה אמרה לנו לא לשכב בחוף תחת השמש למרות שהנגיף ייהרג בחום כזה, ולמרות שהלחץ שלנו יכול לרדת באווירה הרגועה הזו, ולמרות שהחמצן החמצן המיונן לשלילה באזור הים יכול להיות לטובת הבריאות שלנו. כל זה היה יותר מדי לנו לסבול מזה ולסבול במשך תקופה ארוכה מדי.

אני כבר כתבתי על כך שאין לנו סובלנות עד כדי כך להאלץ להישאר בבית. אישית העדפתי ללבוש בנדנה, והיתה לי הזדמנות להסביר לצעיר אחד שהעיר עליו, שזה מזכיר לנו על דמות של שודד שבסרט ישן. במקרה שמעתי אל קרי קאסידי בפרויקט קמלוט גם להציע בנדנה כחלופה למסכה.


אני גם שמח לכתוב ששוטרי המשטרה לא הקפידו ללבוש מסיכות בחוץ.

מצד שני, אולי אנחנו מאמינים את כל מה שיוצא מהתקשורת הנשלטת ע"י כוחות השלטון, ופשוט מרדנים ולא אוהבים את זה כשאומרים לנו מה לעשות, ובמיוחד על ידי הממשלה שהושבעה רק אחרי שלוש בחירות, בהנחה שהממשלה היא בעצם בשליטה.

בכל מקרה, בואו נראה אם כוחות השלטון יצליחו לגרום לנו לחזור ללבוש מסיכות אחרי הטמפרטורות יירדו לרמה הרגילה לעונה.

אני מתפלל ששמירת "ריחוק חברתי", והשתקת קולותינו באמצעות דרישת המסכות לא ישפיעו באופן שלילי כל-כך עלינו ועל תרבותינו הישראלית של מגע.

The Health Ministry on Tuesday has temporarily lifted the requirement for citizens to wear protective masks in open public spaces and in classrooms until Friday, March 22 [May 22], due to the extreme heatwave.

Israel is beset by what may be one of the longest and most extreme heatwave ever recorded this week, with temperatures expected to reach around 40°C [104°F] for at least the next six days. (cont.)

In a rare move of normalcy, the Israeli Government, specifically its Ministry of Health, has temporarily lifted the mask requirement in open spaces, and in classrooms. This is due to the unusually high temperatures for this season, and realizing that the health benefits not wearing a mask in such heat outweigh any benefits of wearing one.

Today I saw that most people were taking advantage of this temporary mask exemption, and I did not see anyone wearing a mask, complaining to anyone who wasn't, even on the bus or in closed spaces.

We're sick of it.

The photos (above) are from Tuesday, one day before the prohibition against swimming in the ocean was lifted. Some will no doubt suggest that Israelis simply do what they want. My experience is the opposite. And before you start to demonize any particular segment of the population, secular, modern orthodox, Haredi (ultra-orthodox), or for that matter put anyone in particular on a pedestal,  this quiet revolt had participants from across across the spectrum.

Being told not to go into the sea, when this virus cannot survive in the high salinity, being told not to lay out in the sun where the virus would be killed in heat, our stress level would get reduced in the relaxed atmosphere, and we would benefit from the negatively ionized oxygen, was just too much for us to take for too long.

I have already written about how we have little tolerance for being forced to stay inside. And, personally, I preferred to wear a bandanna, explaining to one young man who commented on it, that it brings up the image of a bandit from an old movie. This was also suggested as an alternative by Kerry Cassidy at Project Camelot.

I am happy to say that the police were lax with their own masks as well.

On the other hand perhaps we believe everything being fed to us by the powers that be, are just rebellious and do not like being told what to do, especially by a government, which took over a year and half to form, assuming the government is actually calling the shots.

Either way, it will be interesting to see just how easily they will be able to force us back behind are masks, once the temperatures return to normal.

I pray that keeping us a part through "social distancing," and silencing our voices through being forced to don masks will not permanently, negatively influence us and our touch oriented Israeli, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean cultures.

בתגובה, אני מספר לכם סיפור. לפני יותר מעשרים שנים, הרב מרדכי אליהו זצ"ל נכנס למקווה בשכונת גבעת שאול בערב שבת. הוא נהג להגיע מוקדם עם השמשים שלו כדי לשמור על הפרטיות שלו. בערב השבת הזה בדרך לצאת מבית המקווה, הוא אמר לבלן להוריד את המגבת הנמצאת בקבלה.

According to the Yeru-Shahmat website, this club's objectives do not seem to be political at all. They just want to play chess.

Now, look at their logo. Would you want your children to walk around a shirt with a logo like this?

Surely some of you will ask, "What's the problem? It's not a cross... exactly."

In response I will recount to you a story I heard directly from the men's miqwah (mikveh - ritual immersion pool) attendant. More than 20 years ago, Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu ztz"l (pictured above) came to his local miqwah in the Givat Shaul neighborhood in Jerusalem on Erev Shabboth. He was accustomed to arriving early with his shamashim (attendants), so as to maintain his privacy. On this particular Erev Sabboth, upon leaving the miqwah, Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu told the miqwah attendant to take down the towel that was hanging in the entryway.

The miqwah attendant did not want to argue with the rabbi, even more so the for Chief Sepharadi Rabbi of Israel (AKA: Rishon leTzion). But he also wanted to know the rabbi's reasoning.

So, the miqwah attendant asked the rabbi why this towel needed to be taken down. Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu said that there was a cross printed on the towel. The miqwah attendant responded that there wasn't actually a cross printed on the towel. Rather it was a design of interlocking crosses.

Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu then said, "It's a cross. Take it down." And then he left the miqwah.

And so, I ask again, "Would you want your children to walk around a shirt with a logo like this?"

One more question: What do you think about the "coexistence"  message implied in this logo?

Israel Back to the Beach 5777!

Beach season has been well-underway in Israel, and that includes the Hof HaNifrad (Separate Beach) in Tel-Aviv. Tel-Aviv's religious beach is located just north of the Hilton Hotel, down the hill from Gan HaAtzma'ut Independence Park.

Men's days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Women's days are Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Other separate beaches in Israel divide the days up like in Tel-Aviv. Others stagger the mornings and afternoons instead.

One of the criticisms of the beach's designation as a religious/separate beach is the lack of a mehitzah (divider) on its south side. It was dilapidated and in disrepair, and so why finally taken down, but has yet to be replaced. From where I was standing, nothing "exciting" can be seen anyway. Nevertheless, it should be rebuilt.

Ironically the next beach south which can be seen right underneath the Hilton Hotel has been gradually developed into the unofficial gay beach. You can see the rainbow roofed shaded areas which were just never taken down after an annual celebration.

This beach sports a volleyball net, which was in use most of the time I was there on the day  of these photos.

So was the gym equipment.










But, the most exciting scene of the day was the "purple flag," indicating the presence of meduzot (jellyfish). There were quite a few of them too. I, myself, was stung, or shot at, or whatever jellyfish do.

The are very hard to see, like glass in water. Even though when they get beached, their color is a milky white.

The lifeguards will occasionally catch them to show the beach goers, especially the kids, in order to educate them about this beach hazard.

One thing I noticed which was new this year was at the snack bar. It seems that it still carries the usually ice cream novelties and junk food. But, it has also added four different beers on tap!

Be careful, though, as alcohol can be dehydrating.

The Night the Jewish Lights Went Out in Georgia!

JTA: University of Georgia Jewish students riled by homecoming concert set for Yom Kippur

(JTA) — Jewish students at the University of Georgia have objected to a homecoming concert because it was scheduled for Yom Kippur eve and the band is known for its Christian rock music.

The concert featuring Needtobreathe was set for Oct. 11, the university announced Monday.

Two years ago, hundreds of students petitioned the university to change the annual homecoming football game from Yom Kippur.

Stan Jackson, director of student affairs communications and marketing initiatives, said in a statement emailed Tuesday to the student newspaper, The Red and Black, that the date chosen for the concert was the only day that the Stegeman Coliseum, the event venue, was available.

“Some students who observe Yom Kippur may be disappointed with the date chosen,” Jackson said in the statement. “Representatives from University Union and UGA Homecoming are in correspondence with Jewish student organizations such as Hillel at UGA and Chabad at UGA to explain the logistics that required that date to be selected.”

Delaney Fox, a junior who is Jewish, told WSB-TV Atlanta, “It’s upsetting that they don’t take into account that there’s going to be a large number of students that can’t attend.”

Needtobreathe was selected for its popularity, not its religious affiliation, according to Jackson.

“The student groups compare several performers each year in terms of popularity, not content, and strive to select an artist that will appeal to as many students and community members as possible,” the statement said.

Homecoming activities will take place during the entire week.

This report on the University of Georgia's Homecoming Week is old, but I still cannot let it go. It is an example of just how hopelessly stuck Jews are in their exile.

I cannot decide which part of the report is sadder, that Jews are so concerned about missing one day in a full week of Homecoming celebrations, or believing that a Southern university was going to consider cancelling a performance, because it was by Christian group,...and because the Jewish students didn't like it. Some reports seemed to suggest that Jewish students were upset that they would be excluded from attending the concert,...the concert with a Christian Rock band. That would be very sad, indeed.

When I was in college, I too wanted to be attend university events. I cannot fault them for that. But, I suppose I had it easier, having gone to UCLA. There was no way that the Homecoming, nor the UCLA vs. USC game was ever going to conflict with a Jewish holiday,...not in Los Angeles.

Weeding through the various, sloppy reports, floating around the internet in one form or another, finally revealed that the Homecoming game was not actually held on Yom Kippur.

No one raises an eyebrow about University of Georgia games being held on Shabboth, and with the well-known, Jewish player's participation, no less. Nor would I expect them, too. They're just not there, yet.

I suppose we should be grateful that at least these Jewish students still care enough to know they need to stay away from Christian events, and that Yom Kippur is important. Unfortunately, some, if not more than some, believe that starving for a full day, accompanied by utter boredom, not knowing what is going on in a place they frequent a handful of times a year, is what this day called Yom Kippur is all about. And, of course, this is not what Yom Kippur is about at all.


Two years ago, right after Yom Kippur, Jewish students felt the brunt of southern hospitality at Emory University, just around the corner from the University of Georgia. I can only imagine the incidents which have unreported. Yet, these Jews insist on calling Georgia,...and the U. S. in general their home.

The night the lights went out in Georgia was long ago. But, Jewish lights there are still out.

I pray that they will be turned back on soon.

Note: I am aware that Atlanta has a strong and growing Jewish community. I am happy to write that I have met quite a few Jews, students, families, and lone IDF soldiers, here in Israel, whose lights turned on long ago.

Israelis get upset when Arab (Lebanese) athletes prevent our athletes from getting on the bus at the Olympics.

Israelis are proud of these athletes who stop fighting the Arabs and decided to go for the next bus.

Israelis get upset about the Egyptian (Arab) judokah when he refused to shake our athlete's hand.

Israelis get excited about his victory, and his receiving the bronze medal.

"Now the non-Jewish nations around the world understand that we are just like them! And now they love us and will wake up to the fact that we (Israelis and Jews) are the victims, and not the 'Palestinians' (Arabs) and  that they are the inciters."

These Arabs are doing us a favor, and only a few Jews can see it. We are supposed to be a separate and distinct nation. The rejection of us by the nations is taken as a slight to our collective ego. It should be taken as a message.

And why are we participating in the Olympics anyway? I am not against athletics, or even athletic competition, but we need to remember its ultimate goal for us, to prepare for war, and defending ourselves. Marshall Arts like Judo are particularly helpful.

Once the Greeks took part in sports competitions nude. And Jews drew perform circumcisions hide that they are Jews to these competitions participated.

We forget why the holiday of Hanukkah exists. It is the festival which marks the victory of the Jews against the Greeks, their influence over us, and our fight for Torah observance.

Before the victory of the Maccabees, many Jews wanted to be like all of the other nations.

And today? Has the situation changed?

Why Was Winning Cavaliers Coach David Blatt Fired?

Blatt, who moved to Israel more than 30 years ago after playing for the USA basketball team in the 1981 Maccabiah, surprisingly was appointed head coach of the Cavs in 2014.

The dream came to an abrupt end for David Blatt on Friday as the 56-year-old American-Israeli coach was sacked by the Cleveland Cavaliers, despite leading the franchise to the 2015 NBA Finals and the best record in the Eastern Conference so far this season. (cont.)

Well, regardless what you think about Hellenist, competitive sports, and whether we like it or not, many Jews will be able to get the message embedded in this story, more readily, than a direct, Torah one.

Whether David Blatt's firing was due to LeBron James's assertion of his prima donna power, or the same ol' boring Jew-hatred, many American Jews make a habit of ignoring, it doesn't matter. David Blatt, like all other Jews need to be in Eretz Yisra'el (the Land of Israel).

Just over a year ago, the U. S. State Department reared the ugly head of its double standards toward professional athletes from Israel.

Marginally right-wing, Minster of Culture and Sport Miri Regev (Likud), whom I have previously praised on this sit, disappoints us with her comments in support of Blatt...

David there is no doubt that you will still make a magnificent career in the NBA. You should know that there is an entire country here that is behind you that loves you and supports you. Have a good week, and [may we hear] only good news.

She should have encouraged him to come home, and to return to coaching here in Israel. As Minister of Sport, one would think that her position would include the encouragement, even the recruitment, of the best and brightest sports stars, not to mention [former] aliyah role models. Instead she takes the "NBA is the best, so go for it" tact.

Well, at least she posted in Hebrew. Small consolation.

Another person of notoriety to opine with his two cents, whether we like it or not, was U. S. Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro (left).

Listen, Dan, we'll be interested in your opinion on sports (or anything else for that matter), only when you finally start playing for your own team.

Soccer, Cell Phones, and the Jewish People

Although I am not at all anti-sports, nor anti-competitive sports, I must tell you about what is wrong with Israel's recent, and not yet finished, battle withing the Fédération Internationale de Football Association [FIFA].

Some appear to claim that we have brought this on ourselves...

This is just silly, especially since there was no mention of the "Israeli Arabs" at Israeli soccer games, yelling in Arabic, "With spirit, with blood, we will redeem the Aqsa Mosque!" and receiving absolutely no consequences, while Jewish soccer fans are demonized, and jailed.



This is not the first time, politics has been played out on the soccer field. Which was worse, a French soccer player's reverse Nazi salute, or Israeli fans fawning over the Qatari supported, Barcelona soccer team? I would say the latter.

And now, many are crying about the next threat to Israel's acceptance as a sovereign state, with a right to exist.

While the fight over the Palestinian attempt to suspend Israel from FIFA has ended on Friday in Zurich, Israeli diplomats warn that the next battle is near – the Olympics.
"Rajoub has three roles - he's the head of the football association, the minister of sports and the chairman of the Palestinian Olympic Committee," a Foreign Ministry official said.

"The Olympics are in a year. Today it started with soccer, tomorrow it could be volleyball, handball or basketball," the official continued. "We have to stay on our toes and realize there is now a political dimension to Israeli sports." (cont.)

The fact that the Olympics originated from the same Hellenist empire, we fought against, culminating in the celebration of the first Hanukkah, was not mentioned. What can I say? The revisionist historians have gotten the best of us, when it comes to Hanukkah.

The more recent fact that the 1972 Munich Olympics will always be known to us as the "apolitical," international sports competition in which 11 Jews were kidnapped and murdered, was also not mentioned. (I'm not holding my breath.). Yet, the International Olympic Committee [IOC] refuses to allow even a moment of silence to memorialize their brutal deaths, insisting that the Olympics remain "apolitical."

The Arab terrorists who murdered these 11 Jews obviously did not care about the supposedly apolitical nature of the Olympics. Neither did U. S. President Jimmy Carter in his boycott of the 1980 Moscow Olympics, in protest of the Soviet Union's invasion of Afghanistan, and creating the Taliban in the process.

But, I digress...

Of course, the non-Jewish endeavor to separate us from them has been going on since our "liberation" from the ghettos. But, we Jews continue to battle against this, and by extension, battle against our status as a separate and distinct people.

Leaving the ghettos was supposed to be a victory, a blessing if you will. But, has it been? I suppose it has, in that we have had to learn how to maintain our Jewish identity in the face of galuth (exile), and threats of foreign cultures, while attempting to glean the permissible wisdom from the goyim (non-Jews), making us stronger, and gaining zekhuth (merit) for ourselves, as a result.

On the other hand, so many of us have failed at this miserably, that one could just as easily see leaving the ghettos in an opposite light, or at the very least, as one of the greatest challenges in our history.

The goyim continue to demonize us, and push us away, and we continue to fight against this.

In April 2012, the Co-operative, Britain’s fifth-largest food retailer, declared it would no longer be importing agricultural produce from the territories or any Israeli supplier linked to produce from there. Five years earlier, retail giant Marks and Spencer announced that it was boycotting products from the West Bank, while the Tesco supermarket chain stopped marketing dates from the Jordan Valley.

And they are not alone: Over the past few years, numerous other companies from various countries around the world have announced some kind of a boycott of Israeli goods or companies. (cont.)

The latest supporter of the boycotts against Israel has been a partner company of one of Israel's own cellular phone companies.

(Arutz 7) If he could, Stephane Richard, the CEO of French mobile company Orange said Wednesday, he would “tomorrow” end his company's association with its Israeli partner.

Why hasn't anyone suggested a boycott of the Orange Company in Israel? There has been plenty of whining across the political spectrum, from Tzipi Hotovely, Aryeh Deri (Shas), and Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid), but as far as I know, no calls for a counter-boycott.

(Arutz 7) Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) on Wednesday night sent a letter to the CEO of the France-based Orange mobile company, Stephane Richard, urging him to take back his remarks regarding a boycott of Israel.

A protest on Facebook has been launched, but by any Israeli officials? Nope.

Orange in France apologized.

Orange in Israel says the apology is bologna.

I am surprised that Orange in Israel has not fallen already, with new, and much cheaper, competition on the scene, such as Golan and Rami Levy. But, that is another matter.

But, anyway, so what?

It is all the same, and it will all continue, until we let go of our desperate attempts to seek love from th goyim, and validation for our existence, instead of seeking both from The Holy One, Blessed Be He, the only love and validation and guidance we ever need.

The goyim are doing for us, what we are apparently unable to do for ourselves.

Let's stop caring, and let them.

U. S. State Department's Double Standards toward Israel Spread to the NBA

A petty new low…

As the Obama administration is contemplating a sweeping amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants to the United States, the US State Department is refusing to extend a simple P1 visa currently held by Israeli basketball star Gal Mekel of the NBA. The State Departments actions have prevented the NBA’s Indiana Pacers from signing Mekel.

Gal Mekel was recently dropped by the Dallas Mavericks as part of a deal to free up space on the team while helping the Indian Pacers sign a badly needed point guard. Multiple injuries have left the Pacers with only one point guard and they are desperate to sign Mekel.

Now apparently, Indiana has been forced to back out of the deal with Mekel after the US State Department has refused to renew his visa without explanation.

Breitbart News reports that:

Normally, visas for foreign-born players in the NBA are automatically transferable with the players to whom they are issued. More than 100 foreign-born players are currently in the NBA. This is the first instance many basketball analysts can recall where a foreign-born player was prevented from signing with a new NBA team because a visa could not be transferred.

Gal Mekel is one of only two Israelis in the NBA; the other is Omri Caspi of the Sacramento Kings.

I can certainly understand wanting to excel in ones profession, in order to reach the top, even besides the opportunities for fame, glitz, and glory which can be found in an American professional athletics organization. With the exception of soccer, the U. S. has really outdone itself in this regard.

But, professional athletes, Jewish athletes, cannot be exempt from reading the writing on the wall. Players from Europe, Asia, and elsewhere are having trouble their visa renewals?

Gal, have you ever thought that maybe, HaShem does not want you to be in America?

It would not be the first time that HaShem (The Almighty) has sent messages through nasty, evil people. Pharoah of Egypt comes to mind. This time, though, Jews do not have to wait around until it gets go bad in exile, to have to scream out to HaShem. Nowadays, you can just get on a plane,...for now anyway.

I guess that playing professional basketball is as good a reason as any to have diggs in Sacramento. To us native Californians, Sacramento, California's capital, is not know to be a terribly exciting place. I have overheard state politicians talk about dreading their trips "back there." Apparently, even former Governor Arnold Schwartzenagger never spent any more time in Sacramento than he had to. You get the point. Omri Caspi must really love basketball, if he is willing to live in, or even close to, Sacramento.

And speaking of basketball, although Head Coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers David Blatt is a U. S. citizen, I wish that he would get the message, too, and return to Israel. As the former coach of the Maccabbee Tel-Aviv Basketball team, he I am sure that he would not have too much trouble getting a job in the field he loves. Better yet, why not Israeli Minister of Culture and Sport?

My Brothers, it's time to come home.
