ערוץ 7: ...עו"ד חיים בלייכר מחוננו, המלווה את בעלי החוות, אמר, "שנאת ההתיישבות של פעילי שמאל רדיקאליים מעבירה אותם על דעתם, והם החלו לבצע מעשי טרור של הרעלה המונית של החי בטבע תוך סיכון עצום גם לבני אדם וילדים - שיכולים להיתקל בתמרים המורעלים".

עוד הוסיף, "התרענו תמיד על הפעילות המסוכנת של אותם אנרכיסטים, שלעיתים מעודדת טרור, ועתה מתגלה שהאנרכיסטים בעצמם נוקטים בצעדי טירוף של פגיעה בטבע ובאדם תוך חשש ליצירת אסון אקולוגי כלפי נדידת הציפורים וסיכון חיי אדם".

בלייכר קרא לרשויות לפעול בנחישות, "אנו קוראים לכוחות הביטחון, לשב"כ ולרשויות החוק לפעול בנחישות רבה למעצר החשודים בדבר, העמדתם לדין בחומרה והרחקה מיידית של אותם פעילים שכל עניינם פגיעה בהתיישבות היהודית".

עשר אגורות (2¢):
בהצלחה ביוזמה ובעתירות אלה.

שמאלנים מטילים אימה על מתנחלים במשך שנים, כרתו עצי זית או פגעו בתשתיות, ואז האשימו את היהודים בכל זה. תיעוד וידאו לא עזר הרבה. אם שמאלנים אלה אכן מקבלים השלכות כלשהן, זה קורה מאחורי הקלעים, ומדווחים בחדשות רק בתקציר קטן הקבור, אם בכלל.

בינתיים, מתנחלים יושבים בכלא או על פשעים שלא ביצעו, אלא שהואשמו בהם, או שרק הגנו על אדמתם ורכושם מפני גניבה ופגיעה הרסנית ומרושעת מכוונת ברכוש.

פרסום שלילי מתמשך הוא בדיוק מה שרוצים בעלי השררה.

זוהי אותה שיטה ישנה אך יעילה של "הפרד ומשול", המשמשת שוב, וגם כלפי חרדים.

עד מתי נתעורר ונוכל לזהות את זה, ונפסיק לתת להם לעבוד עלינו ככה?

Kav Hahashifut: Farm owners seize an anarchist suspected of spreading poison in the pastures, near the Jewish town of Roi in the Jordan Valley. The anarchist was arrested. See the poisoned dates and the goats that died of poisoning.

Arutz 7: ...At the same time, two other farms in the Jordan Valley reported incidents of poisoning in their grazing areas, resulting in the death of animals and birds. Complaints were also filed with the police in these cases.

Attorney Chaim Bleicher from the "Honenu" organization, who is assisting the farm owners, said, "The hatred of the settlers by radical left-wing activists drives them crazy, and they have started committing acts of terrorism by poisoning wildlife on a large scale, posing a huge risk to humans and children who may come into contact with the poisoned dates."

He further added, "We have always warned about the dangerous activities of these anarchists, who at times encourage terrorism, and now it is being revealed that the anarchists themselves are taking reckless steps to harm nature and humans, with the potential for an ecological disaster affecting migrating birds and endangering human lives."

Bleicher called on the authorities to act decisively, stating, "We call on the security forces, the Shin Bet, and the law enforcement authorities to act with great determination to arrest those responsible, prosecute them severely, and immediately remove those activists whose sole aim is to harm Jewish settlements."

Good luck with that.

Leftists have been terrorizing settlers for years, cutting down olives trees, or damaging infrastructure, and then blaming Jews for it all. Video documentation has not helped much. If these leftists do receive any consequences, this happens behind the scenes, and are reported in a small blurb buried in the news, if at all.

Meanwhile, settlers sit in jail either for crimes they did not commit, but were blamed for, or were just defending their land and property from theft and vandalism.

Continued negative publicity is exactly what is desired by the powers that be.

It is the same old, but effective, "divide and conquer" strategy, also used again Haredim (ultra-orthodox).

When we will finally wake up and see this, and stop buying into it?

זה קורה כל שנה ושנה. מה יוסי דגן חושב? שהממשלה מוכנה לעשות משהו למען המתנחלים עכשיו? בזמן המלחמה?

אגב כשאני כותב ״מתנחלים״, הכוונה שלי היא המתנחלים המתגוררים ביהודה ושומרון בזכות התורה ובשם כיבוש הארץ, ולא האלה המתנהגים יפיה כביכול, ולא נאמני המדינה ללא שום שאלה (הממלכתים), ולא המזדהים כתושבי הפרוורים.

לדעת הממשלה המתנחלים כאלה הם מטרדים. וכן אפילו ממשלה ימיני כביכול חושבת ככה ואז קל וחומר ממשלת החירום הנוכחית.

כרגיל הממשלה עסוקה בחילוק צווי הרחקה למתנחלים או מטרידה אותם.

הממשלה מתיחסת ליהודים בשומרון, העובדים כרועים ובשאר תחומי החקלאות, מסיבות מבוססות בתורה. מתמיד כוחות השלטון רואים איום קיום באמונה של המתנחלים הרוצים לכבוש את הארץ ש״הקב״ה נשבע לנו״.

הקיבוץ תמיד מקובל על ידי כוחות השלטון. הם זוכרים את ההרפתקה הזו וסיפורי גיבורים שלו. הרבה קיבוצים עזבו את החקלאות לטובת ייצור או בילוי, כגון פארקי מים ואפילו מועדוני לילה.

בעיני כוחות השלטון, העלית החילונית, אף יהודי בעל כבוד עצמי לא ינסה באמת להתפרנס כרועה צאן, נכון? הוא צריך ללמוד כדי לקבל תואר אקדמי ממוסד אקדמי מאושר. ורק הישיבות המלמדות את ההשקפה הממלכתית (נאמנות המדינה) ראויות לכל כבוד, כמו הישיבות ״המכינות״ לפני שירות צה"ל.

הם אפילו צוחקים על חקלאים אורגניים וצמחי מרפא שמאלנים. אבל הם מוכנים לסבול מהם כי ההשקפות שלהם מספיק מקובלות ולא מאיימות את קיום המדינה.

בעיקר מאמינים שאיום הקיום למדינה הוא בגלל ההשקפה של המתנחלים כאלה ״חוקי התורה קודמים לחוקי האדם״. שיעור הילודה שלהם גם מאיים את המדינה החילונית כי הוא גבוה בהרבה מהממוצע. בקיצור, אלו אותן הסיבות שהמדינה מפחדת מהקהילות החרדיות מאיימות, ולכן זקוקות לפייס ולהרגעה.

האסטרטגייה של הרגעה לא הצליחה לשלוט על המתנחלים כאלה.אכפת להם מהתורה יותר מכסף. לכן האסטרטגיה המועדפת הנוכחית היא פחד גם על ידי הערבים וגם כוחות השלטון, באמצעות הצבא, המשטרה והשב״כ. הישאר מעודכן לגבי האפשרות של הכנסת חיילים זרים לשטח כדי לבצע עבור המדינה את המעשים המלוכלכיים שלה.

שנים כבר ממשלת ישראל רודפת אחרי יצהר והישובים כמוהו, כולל הישיבה שלה. אפשר שממשלת ישראל מאמינה שברגע שתצליח לשבור את הכוח והאמונה של יצהר, אז שאר היישובים ביהודה ושומרון יעברו לשליטתה המלאה בקלות ויפסיקו לאיים את המדינה.

רוב היהודים לא מבינים שרוב תושבי ההתנחלויות הם נאמני מדינה לגמרי, האלה ש"מתנהגים יפה". גם תושבי הישובים בעזה לפני הגירוש משם בשנת תשס״ה/2005 היו נאמני המדינה למרות פעולותה המתנגדות לתורה.

רמת התקוה שלי במה שרוב עם ישראל קורא הציונות. כל יום עוד ״ציונים״ מודרנים מתחשפים שהם לא בעד מדינה יהודית אלא בעד מדינה שנראת כמו מדינה של גוים שנמצאת בעולם המערב.

אני מתפלל שהמשיח יגיע במהרה! בינתיים, מה עוד אפשר לעשות? להתפלל ולהשתדל להעיר את אחינו. היום רוב היהודים יודעים על הרעות של ישמעאל (הערבים/ המוסלמים). אבל הם לא מודעים לאיום של עשיו (אדום / רומא / עולם המערב), לעתים קרובות הם מעודדים עבור ארה"ב, או מסמיקים על האהבה והאישור (והכסף) מהנוצרים הדתיים.

אבל עדיין אי אפשר לרוב עם ישראל להבין או אפילו לראות את האיום על מערב רב (גיורים כוזבים שיצאו איתנו ממצרים; שמות לח,יב) .

אני מתפלל שהם יתעוררו במהרה בימינו!

Residents of Migdalim are angry: the olive harvest approved by the IDF harms our security
November 5, 2023

This morning, hundreds of Arabs arrived to harvest olives near the town of Migdalim in Samaria, when according to the residents, some of the Arabs were watching the settlement's houses. The head of the Judea and Samaria Council Yossi Dagan: "I begged until early in the morning that they would not come close to the town - but unfortunately I ran into a wall."

This morning (Sunday) the residents of the community of Migdalim in Samaria reported hundreds of Arab olive pickers arriving close to the town's fence of the town in order to harvest olives from the trees in the area. According to residents, despite their requests, the harvest received approval from IDF Central Command and the Samaria Brigade, even though it is an area where no harvest had previously been held. Residents also claim that some of the olive pickers are just walking around idly, and making observations of the town's homes. And all of this has been happening while most of the men of the town are serving in the reserves on the various fronts [of the war]. There are mainly women and children in town now.

Several times during the last two weeks, the Samaria residents have warned that the olive harvest is also used for terrorist activity or as a preparation for terrorist activity against Jews. Thus, for example, Arabs threw rocks at a family across from Rechelim, under the cover of the harvest. The family's son was forced to fire a warning shot at the Arab rioters. In another incident, a Jewish shepherd was seriously injured after being attacked by Arabs who approached him also under the cover of the olive harvest. The Security Division of the Samaria Council has also been working in recent days with the Central Command and the Samaria Brigade, demanding an end to the harvesting near Jewish towns. "We take very seriously the decision to allow clear supporters of terrorism to approach Jewish towns in Samaria at such a time," said the head of the council Yossi Dagan. "We will not agree in any way to the abandonment of Samaria residents. I call on the security division and government ministers to take off their gloves and start taking what is happening in Judea and Samaria very seriously, before it is too late."

"I begged until early in the morning and also after that they not approach the town, but unfortunately I hit a wall. I am calling and begging - keep the harvesters away from our towns. This is a security risk. I am begging and demanding from the Central Command and the Samaria Brigade to stop this security risk and the destruction of our sense of security. Give us back our faith in the system. Don't cause the public here to lose it. Most of them have been called up for reserve duty. Trust in the system is always important, but particularly during such a time. The residents are absolutely correct in being concerned," said Dagan.

The chairman of the Migdalim town council, Nathaniel Lisha, who is currently serving in the reserves, returned to the town this morning in light of the residents' complaints. "It seems we haven't learned anything," said Lisha. "Most of the town has been called up, and there are young families in it. I also returned from reserve duty, because of this disgraceful incident. We are calling from here on the commanding general, whoever has to make this decision, to stop this harvesting in the vicinity of the town. It just cannot happen. We are frustrated and demand a stop to this disgrace immediately," added Lisha.

This happens every year. What does Yossi Dagan think? That the Israeli government is ready to do something to protect settlers now? That a war will make any difference?

When I say "settlers," I am, of course, referring to ideologically-grounded settlers, and not the well-behaved, diehard state loyalists and suburbanites of other communities in Judea and Samaria.

From the perspective of the Israeli Government, such settlers are a nuisance. And yes, even a quasi right-wing government believes this, too, let alone the current emergency government, which includes at least one former general who has approved.

As usual, during the olive harvest, the government is busy issuing stayaway orders to settlers or otherwise harassing them. Jews in Samaria, working as shepherds, and in other areas of agriculture, for ideological reasons are considered a threat. Their ideology of inhabiting our Divinely Promised Land is, and always has been a threat, to the powers that be.

The kibbutz (agricultural collective) will always be accepted by the powers that be, as something nostalgic. Many kibbutzim (pl.) have left agriculture in favor of manufacturing or entertainment, such water parks and even a night club or two.

In the eyes of the powers that be, the secular elite, no self-respecting Jew would ever actually try to support himself as a shepherd, right? He should go get a college degree, and associated indoctrination, from an approved academic institution. And only those yeshivas (Jewish institutions of Torah study) teaching in line with the State's policies are deserving of any respect, such as most pre-IDF service programs, the mechinot.

Even left-wing organic growers and herbalists are laughed at. But they are also tolerated, since more often than not, they carry ideology acceptable to the State, and are of no threat to it.

The main reason the State finds such settlers to be threatening is that they view Torah Law as taking precedence over over the laws of the secular State. Then, of course, there is their much higher than average birthrate. In short, these are the same reasons the State finds Haredi (ultra-orthodox) communities to be threatening, and thus in need of placating and pacifying.

Placating and pacifying has not worked with these ideologically driven settlers. They care more about Torah than government subsidies. So terror, both on the part of Arabs and government forces, army, police, and the Shabbak, have been the preferred strategy. Stay tuned for the possibility of foreign troops to do the State's dirty work for it.

For years, the Israeli Government has been targeting towns such as Yitzhar, including its yeshiva. The theory is that the Israel Government believes that once it succeeds in breaking Yitzhar, one by one the rest of the Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria will come under its full control.

Most Jews do not realize this, but most Jewish "settlements" are comprised of diehard, "well-behaved," State loyalists. That included the majority of towns in Gaza, until the Jews were expelled in the summer, 2005.

My pessimism grows regarding the predominant manifestation of what they call Zionism.

I pray that Mashi'ah (the messiah) comes soon! In the meantime, all it seems that we can do is pray, and try to wake up our fellow Jews. Most Jews now know of the evils of Ishmael (Arabs / Muslims). But they are oblivious to the threat of Esau (Edom / Rome / The West), often cheerleading for the U. S., or gushing over Christian love and validation, completely clueless of their spiritual, and thus physical threat. These Jews are still operating according to their Western exile mentality, which is based on their feelings, instead of Torah. 

But the threat to Am Yisrael (the Jewish People) by the Erev Rav (false converts who left Egypt with us; Ex. 38:12) is still very much far away from most Jews' ability to fathom.

I pray they wake up soon,... before it's too late.

להזהר מיבול נוכרי! / Beware of Foreign Produce During the Sabbatical Year!

יש קיבוצים חילוניים שמוכרים את הספיחים והשביעית שלהם לערבים. ואז הערבים האלה מוכרים את כל אלה לחברות הפצת פרות וירקות בהשגחת הרבנות כ״יבול נוכרי,״ אפילו שזה בכלל לא יבול נוכרי.

במשך שנת שמיטה, אסור למכור פרות מפרדסים בבעלות יהודית, ולשתול ירקות בתוך הגבולות המקוריים של ארץ ישראל. ירוקות שגדלו על ידי יהודים הם אסורים לאכילה.

מובן לי שבד״ץ העידה החרדית ובד״צים אחרים יודעים על הקומבינה הזו ולכן נזהרים.

עוד עניין לגבי יבול נוכרי שכדאי לדעת הוא על כל היהודיות שהתחתנו לערבים במשך רב השנים האחרונות ובמיוחד המתגוררים ביהודהעוד עניין בקשר ליבול נוכרי שכדאי לדעת הוא על היהודיות שהתחתנו לערבים במשך רב השנים האחרונות ובמיוחד ביהודה ושומרון איפה הרבה זוגות כאלה מתגוררים. אולי הילדים או אפילו הנכדים של היהודיות האלה הם בעלי חוות כיום. לכן יש סיכוי שהיבול הנוכרי כביכול הוא גם באמת לא יבול נוכרי אלא מהיהודים הנסתרים. ולכן יבול הנוכרי כביכול הזה הוא גם ספיחים או שביעית באמת.

וכן יש עוד עניין אפילו שכדאי לדעת. לגבי יבול נוכרי אמיתי, אסור לכתחילה לתת לגויים חניה בקרקע (משנה תורה, הל׳ ע״ז י,ד-ה) ולכן אסור לפרנס אותם. 

האם רבני המחנה הציוני הדתי, שאין להם שום בעיה לפרנס את הגויים המתגוררים בארץ, מוכנים להצהיר שאנחנו עדיין ״בזמן שגלו ישראל לבין האומות, או בזמן שיד הגויים תקיפה״ (שם י,ט [ו]) בכדי להצדיק את דעתם בדרך היחידה שאפשר?

כנראה שלא.

בסיכום, יש לכם שלוש סובות להמנע מלקנות את יבול נוכרי במשך שנת השמיטה הנוכחית שהתחילה לפני שבועיים בראש השנה.

Leviticus 25:3-6
Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune your vineyard, and gather in the produce thereof. But in the seventh year, there will be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a sabbath unto the Lord; you will neither sow your field, nor prune your vineyard. That which grows by itself of your harvest you will not reap, and the grapes of your undressed vine you shalt not gather; it shall be a year of solemn rest for the land. And the sabbath-produce of the land shall be for food for you: for you, and for your servant and for your maid, and for your hired servant and for the settler that dwells with you;

There are secular kibbutzim (communal farms) which sell their produce to Arabs during the Shemitah (Sabbatical) year. These Arabs then turn around to sell it to distribution companies under rabbinical supervision, passing it off as yevul nokhri (produce from non-Jewish farmers), which it is not.

It is forbidden to sell fruit from Jewish farmers, which has developed primarily during the Shemitah (Sabbatical) year, as well as for Jews to plant anything during this year, within the Land of Israel's original borders. The vegetables planted by these Jewish kibbutz members during the Shemitah year are also forbidden for consumption.

It is my understanding that the Eidah Haredith, as well as other supervisory, rabbinical courts, often referred to by the acronym “Badatz,” are aware of this rouse of the Arabs, and thus have been particularly careful.

Another issue regarding yevul nokhri we should all be aware of are many Jewish women who have married Arab men over the years. Their children or even their grandchildren may now be farm owners, including those residing in Yehudah and the Shomron (Judea and Samaria), where many, such marriages have been reported.

Perhaps the children or even the grandchildren of these Jews are farm owners today. Therefore there is a chance that the so-called foreign crop is also really not a foreign crop but of the hidden Jews. And so this so-called foreign crop is either adsorbent or really seventh

And there is another matter even worth knowing. With regard to a real foreign crop, it is forbidden in the first place to give the Gentiles a foothold on the Land (Mishneh Torah, Laws of Foreign Worship and non-Jews 10:4-5) and therefore it is forbidden to support them.

Are those Religious Zionist rabbis, who do not have any problem employing or buying from non-Jews currently residing within the Land of Israel, prepared to declare that we are still "in a time when Israel is exiled among the, or at the time when Jews are not truly in control of the Land," (ibid. 10:9 [6]) in order to justify their opinion in the only manner possible?

I will hazard a guess that the answer to this question is "no."

Well, there you have it, three reasons to not to buy yevul nokhri during this Shemitah year, which began two weeks ago on Rosh HaShannah.

It’s no secret that an opposition to sustainable living exists. Earlier this year, Texas state brought several SWAT teams to a sustainable community and threatened to shut it down. Each one of the community members were initially handcuffed at gunpoint. It was called “The Garden of Eden Community,” and was totally self sustainable. You can read more about that here.

This time, it’s Robin Speronis that’s come under fire. She lives off the grid in Florida, completely independent of the city’s water and electric system. A few weeks ago, officials ruled her off-grid home illegal. Officials cited the International Property Maintenance Code, which mandates that homes be connected to an electricity grid and a running water source. That’s just like saying our dependency on corporations isn’t even a choice. The battle to live without most utilities has been ongoing for Robin, the self-sufficient woman has lived for more than a year and a half using solar energy, a propane camping stove and rain water.

In the end, she was found not guilty of not having a proper sewer or electrical system; but was guilty of not being hooked up to an approved water supply. (cont.)

Besides the aforementioned Texas, Colorado has apparently also been causing problems with those who would like to collect their own rainwater.

"Unbelievable!" would be a gross understatement.

How many other states have been practicing such shenanigans?

I have no doubt that these states have been doing this for their constituents "own good," safety reasons and the like. After all, why should the states foot the bill for an illness contracted by an "unapproved" water supply or sewage system, or from lack of electricity? Anyway, that has appeared to be their logic.

It is the same old story. Governments find ways to show its populations that they need them. The truth is that they need us more than we need them.

In some areas of Israel, towns are supplied with water from wells. This can even be more convenient for the government.

Fortunately, solar heating has been encouraged, and it does not make any money from the electricity we do not have to use to heat our water. From April through as far as the beginning of November, heating water in the past few apartments where I have lived has been free from the sun.

In fact, if you are willing to foot the bill for your own alternative electrical power system, which I have heard can run around $100,000, the Israeli electric company will even by any surplus from you.

Pictured above is a friend's wind turbine, which has taken him and his family completely off of the electric grid. In his area, heating homes during the winter is often done with wood burning stoves. The homes are small, insulation can be added, and the wood from is plentiful, if you are willing to be apart of the tree pruning projects during the fall. The electricity collected is used for washing machines, perhaps a luxury, big help to growing families with small children, power tools, and cooking back-up, in case gas suppliers are unable to make their deliveries, or if their supplies suddenly cease.

So far, the Israeli government has been focusing on other ways to control its populace.Nonetheless, it pays to be prepared for the possible worst case scenarios popping up in the future.

A top Israeli minister on Thursday led a delegation of parliamentarians to the Jordan Valley, where he helped inaugurate a new neighborhood in a settlement and vowed to maintain a military and civilian presence in the territory “for all eternity.” Gideon Sa’ar’s statement came mere hours ahead of the arrival in Israel of US Secretary of State John Kerry, who is slated to present a “framework” for a peace deal to Israeli and Palestinian leaders, including a proposal for security arrangements in the valley, which borders Jordan.

“We are here in the Jordan valley out of a recognition that during these days one of the most crucial issues to Israel’s future is at stake,” Sa’ar, the interior minister, told journalists at a lookout over the Jordan Valley named for the late IDF general and Labor Party politician Yigal Allon.

Sa’ar was accompanied by an entourage of deputy ministers and other MKs, including Likud’s Ze’ev Elkin, Tzipi Hotovely, Yariv Levin and Reuven Rivlin [and Miri Regev]; the Jewish Home party’s Eli Ben-Dahan, Orit Struck and Ayelet Shaked; and Yesh Atid’s Dov Lipman and Ronen Hoffman.

The “crucial” issue is where Israel’s border is going to be drawn: whether it will be the Jordan River or, “God forbid,” somewhere near Netanya and Kfar Saba, Sa’ar said, noting that Israel would become a “state with no strategic depth” if it withdrew from the valley.

“The presence of the IDF in the Jordan Valley can’t be a temporary thing; it needs to be for all eternity,” he added, linking Israel’s military presence to the ongoing presence of settlers in the area.

Sa’ar noted that all Israeli governments since the 1970s had built settlements in the Jordan valley, including Labor-led governments, and added: “It needs to be entirely clear that where there will be no settlements, there will be no IDF. Where there will be no IDF there will be no security and there will be terror instead.”

After the impromptu press conference at the lookout, the group continued to the Jordan Valley community of Gitit, where Sa’ar and his companions lent a symbolic hand to efforts to construct a new settlement neighborhood, taking turns hoisting buckets of cement and pouring them into the foundations of a new building.

Thursday’s event was “the right action at the right time,” said Elkin, the deputy foreign minister, evoking the late diplomat Abba Eban’s comparison of the 1967 lines to “Auschwitz borders.” He added that in light of Kerry’s visit and the security arrangements proposed by the Obama administration, the ministers were presenting to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Israel’s “sole possible response” to the demands made of it.

Lipman, the MK from the centrist Yesh Atid party, told The Times of Israel that his presence and the presence of his fellow party member Hoffman was no indication that Yesh Atid was in favor of recent efforts by some Likud ministers to legislate the annexation of the Jordan Valley. Rather, he said, he was there to “discuss the issues.”

The event was organized by the Caucus for Eretz Israel, a Knesset caucus dedicated to fortifying Israel’s presence in all parts of the West Bank. The minister and the other MKs are also to visit other communities in the Jordan Valley, including a meeting with farmers in the settlement of Tomer.

The West Bank border region has become a sticking point in negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians, with Jerusalem demanding the long-term presence of Israeli troops in the area, a proposal the Palestinians reject.

I won't knock the MK's who went out to pass cement and plant trees, symbolically or not. Interestingly enough, this event took place on the first of the Eleventh Month in the Hebrew calendar, Sh'vat, the day which Beth Shammai believed was the New Year of the Trees, which, of course, we celebrate on Tu (15) b'Sh'vat.

But, the big loser today is Rb. MK Dov Lipman, whom I have already declared is a spy,...in the Book of Numbers sense. There to “discuss the issues,” huh? And, when the annexation of the Jordan Valley becomes law, then you can say that you were there?

If we have to wait for Mashi'ah, in order to conquer the Land thoroughly, then what are you doing, sitting in the government of a conquering force? Next, we will start hearing the "O" word out of your mouth?

Answer: Almost everything. I found only two redeeming elements of this video:

1) These children are actually learning something about agriculture. At least they know that fruits and vegetables originate from the ground, and that Jews can actually be involved in the process.

2) It seems that a train route will be added (for real), connecting the prime minister's guests' inland region to the coast, thanks to the Prime Minister. Emeq HaMa'ayanoth includes the city of Beth Sha'an, which sits ver close to the Jordanian border.

This cute appearing photo op. of a ceremony was actually quite disturbing to me.

Before I explain why, let's take a look at what the bringing of the Bikkurim is REALLY supposed to be like.

The Prime Minister of Israel is not a priest, his office is not the Temple, his desk is not the altar, and my guess is that the formula which is supposed to be said upon bringing the Bikkurim (blue italics), is virtually meaningless to the Prime Minister and his guests.

I'm only surprised that Israeli President Shimon Peres did not stand in this role of receiver.

Have these kids being brainwashed into thinking that this is a legitimate form of bringing the Bikkurim, the bringing of Bikkurim to the Prime Minister of the State?? They must realize that this is just a substitute, and a poor one at that. Or do they?

Are children taught anything about the Temple and the faith in the eventual re-institution of the qorbanoth (sacrifices) and other rituals there? Highly doubtful.

Q: What is the Prime Minister doing to rebuild the Temple?
A: Nothing.

Q: What is the Prime Minister doing to allow any other Jews to rebuild the Temple?
A: Nothing.

Q: What is the Prime Minister doing to allow Jews to pray on the Temple Mount?
A: Nothing.

If the Labor Zionists had their way, they would brainwash us all into believing that we are simply relegated to viewing the State as a temporay substitute for the real thing, and then do everything they can to convince Jews, one by one, that this will a permanent situation.

The erasing of what they believe to be Israel's borders will be next. The watering down of the Jewish quality of the State will continue on course, and will include the continued influx of non-Jews, anyway they can bring them here: foreign workers, African "refugees," Americans with sham "conversions," and generic goyim from Europe.

Of course, they will not be allowed in the secular, Ashkenazi elitist neighborhoods and towns, such as Ramat Aviv, Hod HaSharon, and K'far Shemaryahu, nor in the religious mamlakhti (undying state loyalist) towns and neighborhoods, a reward for "good behavior."

Then their feigned despair over the loss of the Jewish State, which was only marginally Jewish to begin with.

Israeli Police Continue To Target "Dangerous" Jews

The residents of Giv'ath Ronen are some of the nicest, most learned, and most amazing Jews I have ever met!

Many of the residents refrain from wearing goyshe, Western clothing. Some hold to the Ramba"m in custom. Some delve into the teachings of Rabbi Nahman of Breslov. Some are maqpid on the misswah of tefillin, wearing them all day.

...the precise kind of Jews of which the Israeli government is most afraid.

Windmill generated electricity, compost piles, organic agriculture,...all very "dangerous" and subversive activities.

But, the most "dangerous" thing of all,...holding HaQadosh Barukh Hu (The Holy One, Blessed Be He) and His Torah in higher regard than the State.

How dare these "dangerous" Jews demand to see identification!

These residents of Giv'ath Ronen refrained from handing over a kosher Jew over to the government's evil minyons, and did so with mesiruth nefesh (self-sacrifice).

Yes. These Jews from Giv'ath Ronen are examples of the most dangerous Jews around.

At least five people were arrested on Tuesday night during a violent police raid on the Samaria outpost of Givat Ronen (Ronen Hill).

The raid occurred just before midnight when plainclothes police detectives arrived at the outpost wanting to arrest a reserves officer who lived there.

The residents demanded that the detectives show them badges and in response, the detectives alerted Yasam (Special Patrol Unit) forces who mercilessly beat residents and entered their homes through the windows.

Givat Ronen residents told Arutz Sheva’s Hebrew site that the police detective vehicle was damaged by residents who were protesting the violence used by police during the raid. The police forces subsequently threw stun grenades, broke into houses and arrested five men. Three residents were injured during the violence.

The reason for the arrests remains unclear, but according to residents, the police used tear gas. “It looked like a battleground,” said one of them.

Last July, dozens of special Yassam and Border Guard policemen, accompanied by Civil Administration personnel, swooped down on Givat Ronen and demolished a large house as well as a goat pen and a caravan. Four Jews were injured during the violent raid, including one in serious condition.

A month ago police raided the Samaria outpost of Havat Gilad (Gilad Farm) in order to demolish an “illegal” home. The forces wounded 15 of the outpost’s residents when they used plastic bullets during the raid.

MK Dr. Michael Ben-Ari (National Union) responded to the violence used by police in Givat Ronen on Tuesday and said: “The police conduct in Givat Ronen is reminiscent of the days of dark regimes. [Internal Security Minister] Aharonovitch must remember that he is not Qaddafi and that any regime which exercises violent behavior towards its citizens – its days are numbered.”

Rain Song (Teaching Tool)

Rain, rain, come and play.

This is something I wrote while teaching elementary school English as a Foreign Language [EFL].

Often, EFL teachers write their own songs, chants, poems, and stories. Regardless of how good the available teaching materials are, this is done in order to fine tune the focus of the materials to the needs of students.

I introduce the above in the fall, as this is the time for Jewish prayers for rain.

I then remind the students of this song around Tu b'Sh'vat, the New Year of the Trees.

Reading and spelling wise, the words of this song contain several vowel pairs, and vowel-consonant pairs (e. g. ai, ay, ie, ow), including pairs which have different possible pronunciations and different pairs which have the same pronunciation.

One kind find many other examples in this song for reading and spelling words which are unique.

Most teachers do not like to explain grammar, especially at the lower levels. They do not see it to be terribly helpful.

However, one rule I find very helpful to tell students is the following:

יש הרבה כללים באנגלית. אבל יש גם הרבה פעמים כשאגלית לא הולכת לפי הכללים!

There are many rules in English. But there are also many times when English does not go according to the rules!

May our prayers for rain be answered, and may we succeed in passing on the importance of all prayers to our children.

Zionist Pigs?

They are not really that "cute and cuddly," as depicted in the photo. They are quite dangerous, and a general menace.

Now, Elder Of Ziyon reports that Arabs are accusing Jews of being responsible for the damage caused by these wild pigs. They even claim that Jews are behind a recent pig attack on an Arab just north of Shchem (which CNN and others insist on calling "Nablus").

First, we're accused of training rats to infiltrate the homes of Jerusalem Arabs; now trained pigs?

What WILL we think of next?

The truth is, though, that there is a wild pig problem, and the pigs do not discriminate.

They cause a lot problems for Jewish farmers. For example, it is now strawberry season, and there has been an on-going struggle over the damage that the pigs cause. Needless to say, the pigs damage all sorts of crops.

South of us, the town of Eli has a big problem with the pigs running through their town, making it dangerous to walk through parts of the town alone at night.

Do not let their size and shape fool you. They are quite fast, and hills do not seem to slow them down.

I do not believe that they have any other natural predator in the area. The skinny, wild dogs are no match for them.

I have heard about local Arabs trying to trap and kill the menacing wild pigs, but I am not so sure that is true.

There various news reports of the Arabs' "blame the Jews" mentality suggests that they are hardly likely to take any responsibility for coming up with such a solution.
