Ehud Barak: Idiot or Evil?

English follows the Hebrew.

A Torah Law State or a Democratic State Democratic Israel - Ehud Barak, 2019

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
If nothing else, Ehud Barak is a hutzpan (has a lot of gall) and a hypocrite!

Here are the highlights from his appearance with Fox News' Neil Cavuto:

Barak mentions the IDF warning civilians the terrorists and their collaborators before attacking.
He states how this is following international law. What has international law done for Jews? Does Hamas follow international law? We have been employing this strategy since at least 2000. I remember when warnings were issued before attacking Ramallah. The Arabs know that we do this, and exploit it.

Barak avoids questions of why Israel has failed to secure peace.
This includes his meeting with Arafat and Clinton, in which Barak offered Arafat 93% of Judea, Samaria, and Gaza. Fortunately for us, Arafat said no. This was not the only time when the stubbornness of an Arab terrorist has saved us from ourselves.

Barak states that "we do not intend to stay [in Gaza] for 20 years."
He says we need to find someone else to pass the torch to. Who? An Arab puppet? The ruling Fatah Party within the "Palestinian" Authority [PA]? Yet again, we do not want to conquer our ancestral territory. Besides that, he really cannot see how the 2005 expulsion of Jews from Gaza, via Sharon's so-called "Disengagement Plan," was a total disaster?

Barak proclaims that there is not any existential threat to Israel.
I presume he is speaking of Israel's history of resilience. Nevertheless, we do have any existential threat to Israel. This stems from the anti-Torah, policies of Barak and others, capitulating to the West, which have done nothing but advance the destruction of Israel from within. Read: Erev Rav trouble makers, who forsake the Land the of Israel, along with Torah. This began during our exodus from Egypt (Ex. 12:38)

Barak reiterates his undying support for a two state solution.
How anyone in his right mind can still believe this will bring peace to the region, I have no idea.

Barak mentions feigns the need for unity (for now).
Even though he says he thinks Netanyahu is wrong.

Barak states the goal is to destroy Hamas.
Earlier in the video, he says that he does not see this as possible.

He mentioned his idea of a multinational Arab force taking control in Gaza.
He really trusts them? Egypt is an ally?

Barak suggests perhaps that the United Arab Emirates [UAE] would want to get involved.
Hmm... Perhaps this was one of the motivations for Arab nations to join the Abraham Accords in the first place. Perhaps the plan was position themselves to assert more control in Israel. (Also see Tomer Devorah's Beware The Abraham Accords

Barak says that we cannot control ideology. We can only make sure they do not have the tools to execute their wishes.
Barak and his ilk has failed miserably in this, time and time again. I include Ariel Sharon here, not to mention Shimon Peres and Yitzchak Rabin who provided the PA with weapons.

When Cavuto brings up the warning from Egypt concerning Gaza...
Barak claims that we have missed things before, due to misinterpretations. He tries to rationalize this, but does not deny Israel's intelligence force slipped up. You will see why he does this shortly.

Barak blames Judicial Reform for the risk to Israel's security.
As far as I am concerned this came out of nowhere. Perhaps he is referring to the public rift within Israel creating a sense of weakness which could be exploited from the outside. He mentions the repeal of the Unreasonableness Clause," which had given the Israeli Supreme Court the power to overturn any law passed by the duly elected government, if it did not think it was "reasonable." In other words, if it did not allign with its anti-Torah, globalist agenda. Barak even referred to the judicial reform proposed by Netanyahu's government as a "coup d’etat."

Furthermore, he claims that Netanyahu would not listen to U. S. warnings about the implications of the judicial reform. In other words, Netanyahu refused to listen to threats from the U. S.

Then Barak suggests that after the war, we should learn our lesson, and set aside judicial reform.

Ehud Barak is not in the least bit interested in the survival of the Jewish People. A multicultural Israel, on its way to assimilation into a globalist society, prehaps, but not the People of Israel, as separate and distinct nation.
Too bad Neil Cavuto did not ask Barak about his alleged connection to Epstein Island. I wonder what how he would have responded to that.

Israeli PM Binyamin Netanyahu Explains the Judicial Reform in English

English follows the Hebrew.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
For those of you interested... Maybe you're sick of U. S. politics, right, left, upside down. Try Israeli politics for five minutes.

This interview by Mark Levin covers the judicial reform issue clearly and concisely, focusing on the "reasonableness" clause, recently cancelled by the Israeli government. The partial, self-perpetuation of Israel's Supreme Court will be addressed by the Knesset in due course.

This illustration from Kohelet, an organization with which I often do not agree, provides a picture of just how much power Israel's Supreme Court currently posseses.

I am not a fan of Netanyahu. He is very problematic in many ways. This video is biased, and Netanyahu definitely has his ulterior motives for judicial reform. However, on this issues in this interview, I believe he is right. See the posted highlights. The Israeli Supreme Court has been running amok for years. Unfortunately, the system's supporters have the resources and the government didn't see it coming. (or did they? 🤔) Their bad.
PM Binyamin Netanyahu (01:40): We want to create a system of check and balances. The "Reasonableness" clause that we have says -- you don't have to eliminate it altogether -- you say that it's not enough... to nulify a government decision or a law based on something subjective, like an argument "I think this is unreasonable." So, there are limitations on this. Well you know this is what you have in all democracies. This is presented by our opponents as being this awful end to democracy. If that's the case, then you have no democracies anywhere else on earth. And the Court has a lot of other checks...
That was an explanation of the first part of judicial reform in Israel, which was just passed, removing the Israeli Supreme Court's abiity to cancel a law or other government action is fins to be [subjectively] unreasonable. In other words, distasteful to the Left. Now here is an explanation of what is truly behind the protests against the judicial reform.
Mark Levin (03:22): Mr. Prime Minister, Your opposition parties have really organized most of these protests. And they haven’t been secret about it, although the media seems to ignore it. We’re talking about opposition to you, to your majority, your coalition. They have not accepted the results of your election. And, as I see it, they’re trying to overthrow your government. They’re trying to get your government to back off. By the way, that’s how Ehud Barak sees it, a former prime minister, who’s helped organize this effort, and many others. You’ve got all kinds of dark money seeping into your country, even from outside your country. You’ve got all kinds of mouthpiece surrogates in the media, like Thomas Friedman, and others, who are trying to undermine your government, and who have never supported your government. Isn’t this really a way to try to destroy the coalition that you put together with the overwhelming support of the Israeli people?

PM Binyamin Netanyahu (04:15): Well the organizers of the demonstrations say so openly. In fact, they began their efforts, well before we established a government put forward the judicial reform. They just say, listen, we have to bring down,… This is a center right government, and they want a left government. They don’t want us in power. They want to be in power. Except they can’t get it through elections. So they’re trying to do it through these massive disruptions. You know, blocking roads, setting up fires, blocking the airport, and things of that sort. And the other thing they’re trying to do is basically I would say, assemble a cast of former generals, who tell you that, or basically telling the government, if you don't do what we say, if you go ahead with legilation, then we're going to insight for mass disobedience in the army. I'll tell you the day that Israel, that Israel's elected government succumbs to threats for former generals, that's the end of democracy. And we're not going to let that happen. That's where we are today, and we're not letting it happen.
Interesting that he did not give former Supreme Court President Aharon Barak any power by mentioning his name. Most Americans would not have recognized his name. Why help Barak by doing so, no matter how much feins lack of involvement in the opposition to bringing his judicial power structure down?

Politics can be complicated in Israel. You can be economically left-wing, but conservative when it comes to social issues, vice-versa, and any other possible combinations you can think of.
  • There is a gay Speaker of the Knesset from a right of center party.
  • A Sepharadi, haredi (ultra-orthodox) now former, member of Knesset attending his nephew's wedding to a man. (Sure, he was pushed out of his seat because of this, but... he went.)
  • There are settlers who are more environmentally conscious than the hypocritical, fake left of North Tel Aviv.
  • Meanwhile, a left-wing lesbian is fighting against illegal immigration in South Tel Aviv.
Never a dull moment. You just can't make this stuff up.

Israeli MK Suggests Dividing the Temple Mount.

English follows the Hebrew.

Illustration of the Second Temple

Jewish Press: Likud MK Amit Halevi Proposes Plan to Divide Jerusalem’s Temple Mount
By Hana Levi Julian - 19 Sivan 5783 – June 7, 2023

Likud Knesset member Amit Halevi is promoting a plan to divide the Temple Mount between Jews and Muslims.

Under the plan, Muslims will receive the southern Al Aqsa Mosque and its annexes and the Jews will receive the central and northern area, including the Dome of the Rock, the place on which it is believed that the Holy of Holies stood in the Temple. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
No. Just like the ridiculous security fence divides up our land, I am against ANY compromise on the Temple Mount. It's ours. All of it.

Many years ago, I learned a very important lesson about fences from a resident of the town of Teqo'a. At the time, Teqo'a never had a fence around the town. (Today, there is a partial fence.) For years, Itamar never did either. (Any others?) Still other towns, such as Ofra were only partially fenced in. Why? According to my acquaintance in Teqo'a, when you build a fence, you are not just saying that the part inside of the fence in yours, you are also sending the message that the part outside of the fence is not ours.

In 1967, we showed the Arabs that we mean business, that if they attack, we take more of our Land back. Granted, that was not necessarily the message intended by the Israeli Governor. But it was the message received by the Arabs. Muslim scholars are more than familiar with our history. Their Quran even contains a distorted portion of it.

Moshe Dayan gave back the keys to the Temple Mount to the Wakf (Jordan).

Tell me again how any Jew would do such a thing. Enough progress had been made that day? It was a strategy? I'm not buying it.

Fortunately for us, the Arabs will never go for it, just like PLO terrorist Yasser Arafat (may his name and memory be blotted out!) refused to accept former Prime Minister Ehud Barak's generous proposal.  In fact, they might even laugh at the plan, instead of the usual outrage. And speaking of outrage, we should take a lesson from them.

In addition, Halevi suggests removing the Kingdom of Jordan’s authority over the Temple Mount by launching a process to remove its decades-long political status achieved through agreements with Israel.

Well, I certainly agree with this. The reparation of Dayan's folly is long overdue.

MK HaLevy also mentions the origin of our ownership of the Temple Mount.
“No one needs to examine the stones to know that it is ours … King David bought the land from the Jebusites. Soccer is played on this compound and picnics are held. We need to put an end to this. There are mosques in the south of the mountain and we respect that. Pray there and give us our share.”
The Jebusites were the Canaanites residing in and around Jerusalem. If you recall, Yasser Arafat (may his name and memory be blotted out!) once attempted to claim that he was a descendant of them. Of course, that did not hold any water. The only thing he had in common with the Canaanites was his din (status), following his claim to the Holy Land.

The Land of Israel had already been promised to the People of Israel, long before King David purchased it. It simply was upon us to acquire it.

Now it is upon us to continue to acquire it, and not give it away, like Gaza, parts of Judea (including Binyamin), Samaria (eastern Efraim and West Menasheh), and even Southern Lebanon (northern Asher and Naftali).

It is no coincidence that this week's Torah portion is Shelah (Num. 13:1 - 15:41), which includes the spies' lack of faith over being able to conquer the Land.

The Democratic Camp Party isn't Really Democratic

English follows the Hebrew.

To look into the eyes of the right-wing, this is courage.
The Democratic Camp: Nitzan Horowitz, Stav Shaffir, Ehud Baraq

"Expanding Shabbat violations, the problem of the LGBT [agenda],
No holiness - then all possible wars come, the Temple is the cure." - Rabbi Yisrael Ariel

The Democratic Camp: If we don't wake up, he will educate our children.

New teachers: 7 for Physics, 477 for Jewish Studies
- from an ad in The Marker

The Democratic Camp/MeretzIf we don't wake up,
the rabbis will educate our children.
The truth is that leftists are not really interested in democracy at all. If they were interested in democracy, then they would accept the decisions of the majority ... even when the ultra-Orthodox and the settlers will eventually be the majority, the majority of voters.

But "democracy" is the slogan, and its interpretation is "to oppose anything related to the Torah."

They do not want a democratic state. They want a state with a government system according to their rules and desires, a state like all nations of the world, a state of assimilated Jews, a state of Jews marrying anyone they want, meaning goyim, including goyim who think they are Jews, such false converts, and those fooled by leftist leaders into believing they are Jews.

So, what future do the leftists want for the people of Israel?

There is no doubt that they want a future without Torah except for the unobtrusive parts and no rabbis who say things that disturb them. And needless to say, they do no want a re-built Holy Temple.

Ehud Baraq and Avigdor Lieberman out to Scare the National Religious

English follows the Hebrew.

Pepe Alalu (Meretz): Free or Haredi

Together we will stop the Haredization -Meretz/Labor

A Torah Law State or a Democratic State Democratic Israel - Ehud Baraq

In 2008, Nir Barkat was elected Mayor of Jerusalem. During the election, leftists wandered around Jerusalem trying to scare the city's residents, and in particular those within the national religious community.
"Do you want modesty patrols in your neighborhoods?"

"Do you want them to tell your wives to cover their hair and how to dress?"
That is how they tried to frighten national religious, modern orthodox, and traditional Jews.

City Council member and self-proclaimed "orthodox feminist," Rachel Azaria (Yerushalmim, Yesh Atid) produced the film "The Battle for Jerusalem," and worked hard to encourage the building of  new towns for the Haredi (Ultra-Orthodox) community. Sounds like a helpful thing to do, right? Not at all. She wanted to prevent the "Haredization" of Jerusalem by encouraging the Haredim to live in such new towns. In other words, not in Jerusalem.

Nir Barkat's victory against Menachem Porush (United Torah Judaism) was due to the internal dispute between Haredim, particularly within the Gur community.

Lieberman. Yes to a Jewish State No to a Torah Law State! Yisrael Beitenu - Israel Our Home
Eleven years later, the strategy of attempting to frighten the national religious community into voting more left than they usually would is alive and well, and in full force.

The truth is that leftists are not really interested in democracy at all. If they were interested in democracy, then they would accept the decisions of the majority ... even when the ultra-Orthodox and the settlers will eventually be the majority.

Who is Yaya Fink?

Yaya Fink: "Countless Religious Zionists will support Ehud Baraq."

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Who is Yaya Fink? According to his website (translated)...
I am a social democrat, I believe in the values of the Labor Movement and I think they are more relevant than ever. Social justice, narrowing the gaps, standing up for those who are struggling financially, aspiring for peace and the sanctity of life are the basis for the reform that our country needs so much.

I will bring a new spirit to the Knesset and focus on the struggle for egalitarian Judaism, which includes putting loving your neighbor as yourself in the forefront, and the Torah scholars increasing peace in the world. Judaism and Zionism do not belong to the right, and we have to take them back, and that is up to us.
You can read what I have already written about so-called "social justice" here.

Then the religious Zionists are apparently not Zionists and not religious at all. Many forget that the Torah touches all matters of Torah, not just Shabbat, holidays, and Kashrut.

I have no doubt that Yaya Fink does not understand this.

The Expulsion of Jews from Tapu'ah West

English follows the Hebrew. The video of the events of early yesterday morning was filmed by Binyamin Lehava.

From Yekutiel Ben-Yaakov, June 17, 2018:
The cops and troops are beating the youth badly without provocation on the side of the families and the young people that came to protest the violent expulsion. Please forward the link anywhere you can. They closed the area to the media so this is the only outlet to publish the desecration.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
This hilltop was approved almost 20 years ago, during Prime Minister Ehud Baraq's government. The Beth-El Ulpanah neighborhood was destroyed 13 years after it had been constructed, and the first residents had moved in. In other words, the Israeli Government is becoming increasingly bold when it comes to reneging on its commitments to the Jewish People to protect it, to its homes, and to protect its Divinely promised Land. An Arab pops up after 2 years, 13 years, and now 20 years, claiming ownership of almost always goaded into it by self-hating Leftist.

The destruction of the Tapu'ah West (Tal Binyamin) Synagogue,
carried out with IDF Rabbinate approval, 2003/תשס"ג
From the video, you can see that there are residents and Torah observant supporters who are not willing to take their expulsion and destruction of their neighborhood lying down. There are also still some prominent students of Rav Meir Kahane hy"d residing in Kfar Tapu'ah, including those who were very close with his son Rav Binyamin hy"d. However, they are very much in the minority, and recognize the gravity of the situation. And that situation is not simply that the government will throw Jews out of their homes at the blink of an eye, give up land to Arabs who want to annihilate us, kowtow to the non-Jewish nations instead of listening to their own constituents, let alone to the Holy One, Blessed Be He.

Yet, Jews, particularly those residing outside of Israel, still seem to think that Kfar Tapu'ah is some fantastical place where the residents have the power will be able to overcome not only the force of the army and/or the police, but also their own neighbors. That's right. Their neighbors.

Kfar Tapu'ah has been turning increasingly mamlakhti (diehard State-loyalist) since at least 2000 when leading residents Rav Binyamin and Talia Kahane hy"d , in whose memory the Tapu'ah West hilltop neighborhood was established, were murdered by Arab terrorists.

Here is the open letter (Hebrew) written by the Kfar Tapu'ah council describing their position on the matter, as well as their agreement with the government. This is who they are up against.

The truth is that most of the towns in Azza (Gaza/Gush Qatif) and in the northern Shomron (Samaria) whose Jews were expelled and the towns themselves destroyed by Arabs, back in תשס״ה/2005, were diehard State loyalists till the end. And, yes, you read correctly. The Arabs destroyed their homes, instead of just moving into them.

Either Israel is ours or its not ours. The Israeli Government is simply not interested in answering this question. Rather, it interested in a democratic (deMOCKratic) state just like the goyim, with a few Jewish sprinkles and quasi-Zionist cherry on top. It is not in the least bit interested in building a truly Jewish (ie. Torah) nation. Quite the opposite in fact. Jews who hold Torah above the State are believed to be its greatest ear threat. Not the Arabs. The State of Israel already decided upon its borders ages ago, more or less. Jews finally need to wake up to this fact.

Arabs are Saving Israel from Destruction!

No. Not really. Here's what I mean...
Arutz 7 Report: Abbas rejected new peace plan
US Vice President Joe Biden reportedly offered division of Jerusalem, total 'settlement freeze' in exchange for very little; Abbas refused.
Arutz Sheva Staff, 3/10/2016
Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas reportedly rejected a new peace plan outlined by visiting US Vice President Joe Biden yesterday, according to Arab media reports.
Abbas and Biden met in the PA leader's Muqata headquarters in Ramallah on Wednesday, following Biden's meeting with Israel Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

According to the Palestinian Al-Quds newspaper, the US Vice President used the opportunity to present Abbas with a fresh initiative, which would have included dividing Jerusalem and a total freeze on Israeli "settlement building" in Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem.

In return the PA would be expected to recognize Israel as the Jewish state, and give up its demand for a "right of return" for the descendants of Arabs who left the country during the Israeli War of Independence in 1948.
Abbas, not for the first, promptly rejected the generous offer.
The the meeting came after Biden leveled strong implicit criticism at the Palestinian Authority and its leadership for failing to condemn the ceaseless wave of deadly terrorist attacks against Israelis.
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
In 1998, Prime Minister Ehud Baraq offered the Arabs 93 percent of Yehudah, Shomron, and Azza (Judea, Samaria, and Gaza). Yassar Arafat ysh"w rejected it, because the offer did not include Jerusalem.

Joe Biden
Well, the same thing just happened, when Abbas rejected Crazy Uncle Joe Biden's offer to facilitate the handover of steal a significant portion of the Jewish Homeland, and give it to them. But this time around, the offer included the piece of Jerusalem Arafat demanded.

The offer bribe has become more attractive. So, the lesson we should learn here is that terrorism gets rewarded. Of course, the Americans are simply still trying to hammer an Arab square peg into a Western, round slot. They never seem to learn,...unless, of course, this is all for show, and the U. S. is actually playing an active part in the chopping up of Eretz Yisra'el (Land of Israel).

Most American Jews think this is nuts. But, I suggest that you stay tuned anyway.

But, I digress....

Fatah Emblem
Notice the map?
On the surface, it would appear that, once again, Arabs have saved us from ourselves and from our so-called "allies."

What I believe has actually been happening, is that HaShem as been using them as tools, to exercise His Will. It would not be the first time that He has used goyim in this way.

It seems that He has been allowing us to make our own mistakes, hopefully to learn from them, and to do teshuvah (repentance). But, apparently there is a limit to what He is wiling to tolerate. Of course, I am only theorizing here, as there is certainly a limit as to what we to know to be His Will at any given moment in time.

No one should be surprised that Abbas refused the latest land deal. Arafat was willing to settle temporarily for something instead of nothing, then fight for the rest another day. Abbas is not.

Synagogue to be Destroyed with a Message to Efrat Residents

Yet another Jewish structure is slated for demolition, due to a claim by an Arab that the land it was built on is his.

Jews have documents proving the land's purchase, 20 years ago. Apparently, that is not important to the Israeli courts.

Did I mention that this structure is a synagogue? Israeli courts are in the business of destroying synagogues.

Why does this not surprise me?
Arutz 7: Givat Ze'ev Synagogue Evacuated, Worshipers in Tears
Security forces begin to remove equipment from the synagogue in Givat Ze'ev ahead of its planned demolition.
Eliran Aharon, 8/10/2015
Civil Administration forces on Sunday night began to evacuate the synagogue Ayelet HaShahar synagogue in the town of Givat Ze'ev.

The Supreme Court earlier on Sunday postponed the demolition of the synagogue until August 17, following the intervention of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. While the demolition will be held off until that date, all the equipment in the synagogue will be removed for the time being.

On Monday, the worshipers will hold a special ceremony, following which the Torah scrolls will be removed from the synagogue.

The synagogue, which has been in use for over 20 years, was slated to be demolished after a far-left group filed a petition with the Court, claiming that the structure had been build on privately-owned Palestinian Arab land.
The petition had been working its way through the courts for at least three years. Members of the congregation have offered the land's alleged owners a high price for the purchase or rental of the land, but they, and their lawyers, have insisted that the synagogue be torn down. It is not clear why the Palestinian claimants waited some two decades to make their claims, the congregants said.

The heads of the congregation are in possession of documents showing that they bought the land from its owners, which is the reason that the court has not yet finalized its decision, their attorneys said. The congregation's attorneys are hoping to make one final appeal to prevent the demolition.
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Over 10 years ago, I remember "Yael," resident of Efrat, and at the time, member of Women In Green, tell Elisheva Federman, resident and activist from Hevron, that she knew that Efrat would never be evacuated, but that if Hevron needed to be evacuated for the sake of peace, then she would understand.

Shortly after this televised panel discussion, "Yael" parted ways with Women In Green.

Residents of Efrat, believe that their town is safe, as the well-behaved, suburban jewel, of the "settler movement," and Israeli Government itself.

Speaking of Efrat, former Gush Etzion mayor Shaul Goldstein moved to Azza 10 years ago, in alleged "solidarity" with those slated for expulsion from their homes. The YeSh"A (Judea, Samaria, and Gaza) Council collaborated with the Israeli Government in the expulsion of Jews from Azza.

Adding insult to injury, on that fateful day of the expulsion of Jews from Azza, Mayor Goldstein faked his own expulsion from his temporary home for the cameras.

Tomer Devorah also remembers similar incidents, of so-called "settlers" turning against each other, some of whom are the same "settlers" who tell us not to show "baseless hatred" toward Arabs. Like their "rabbis," they obviously ignorant of halakhah (Torah Law) on several levels.

Ten years ago, a friend of mine produced a T-Shirt with the phrase...

Tel-Aviv is a settlement.

...while in Tel-Aviv is is possible to see the graffiti, "The Settler is not my brother!" all over town.

Last year's Hamas rockets did not wake them up to the realities of being Jews. Now, it is clear that Hezbollah's missiles have the capability of reaching Tel-Aviv.

Neither have the thefts, assaults and rapes at the hands of Sudanese and Eritrean insurgents in the city's southern neighborhoods.

Aftermath of the destruction of the Tapu'ah West Synagogue.
The destruction was carried out with IDF Rabbinate approval.
Not a whole lot of "settlers" expressed concern when the Tapu'ah West Synagogue  was destroyed in 2003. Even though the land upon which it was built had been in Jewish hands for years, and with the approval of Prime Minister Ehud Baraq, 10 years previously.

Beth-El Ulpana Neighborhood apartment buildings, standing 13 years, before being destroyed.
Remember the Beit Ulpanah Neighborhood in Beth-El? It actually stood for 13 years, before the land upon which it stood was claimed, and the the neighborhood subsequently destroyed.

Quite a few Beth-El residents even joined in the expulsion of their own neighbors from this complex.

Now, we hear about a synagogue in Givat Ze'ev. Givat Ze'ev is a town just north of Jerusalem, with a population of around 15,000. Like Beitar, Ariel, Ma'aleh Adumim, Qedumim, Qiriyath Sefer, and Efrat, Givat Ze'ev is one of those towns in the medium to large range, which no one believes would ever be dismantled and expelled of its Jews, as it is within the "settlement blocks," the Israeli Government has stated that it intends to keep, even it hands over anymore lands at all to the Arabs in a final settlement agreement.

So-called "settlement blocks" viewed as "keepers" by the Israeli Government
Do you see the pattern that I see?

It seems that the Israeli Supreme Court is hellbent on ridding Yehudah and Shomron of every Jew, and handing the land over to Arabs who lay claim to it years after the fact, and often encouraged to do so by leftist "Jews."

Lucky for Tel-Aviv, though, I have yet to see any claims lodged against the affluent, leftist, Tel-Aviv neighborhood of Ramat Aviv or Tel-Aviv University, both built on the Arab village of Sheikh Munis.

This is post is not only a message, or rather a warning, to the residents of Efrat, who see themselves as Jerusalem suburbanites, but also to the residents of North Tel-Aviv, who often appear to be living in a bubble, identifying more as "progressive" Europeans than as Jews living in the Middle East.

No one is safe from expulsion, not a neighborhood standing for 13 years, not a synagogue standing for 20 years, not a Jerusalem suburb, and not even Tel-Aviv.

Is this the End of the Two-State Solution?

In order to bring the Jewish Home Party [JHP] into the newly forming, Israeli Government, Prime Minister Re-Elect Binyamin Netanyahu has capitulated to JHP Chair Naftali Bennett's demand to renounce the so-called Two-State Solution, and thus any future "Palestinian" state.

But, now it appears that Netanyahu's stance against the establishment of yet another, Arab terrorist state is not so clear after all.

None of this matters, though. What people refuse to see is that Bennett himself would like to lead us down the road to a defacto, "Palestinian" state, whether he knows it or not.

His so-called "plan" may include annexing parts of Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria). But, it also includes granting autonomy to many of the Arabs currently residing there, and granting Israeli citizenship to others.

How can a "religious" Jew suggest such a thing?
Mishneh Torah, Laws of Avodah Zarah, Ch. 10
4 [3] One does not sell them houses or fields in the Land of Israel; but in Suriyah, one [may] sell them houses, but not fields. And one rents them houses in the Land of Israel, provided that it would not create a neighborhood--a neighborhood being not less than three [units]. And one does not rent them fields; but in Suriyah, on rents them fields. And why were they strict about fields? Because of two [reasons]--profiting from the tithes [from which they are exempt], and it allows them to remain on the land.
From the next halakhah, we learn that these "houses" do not refer to residences, rather to storage facilities only.

And, before anyone gets up in arms about the term "avodah zarah," and how this does not include Muslims, I will say that this is a common misconception. The Ramba"m's use of the term "avodah zarah" here refers to the category of non-Jews, not having accepted upon themselves the Seven Noahide Commandments. In other words, this term does not exclude Muslims (See Ramba"m Sh"uT 248, Tur, Hoshen Mishpat 249, with Beth Yosef, and [uncensored] Ba"Ch])

Of course, the major point of this negative commandment of "Lo Techonem" (Deut. 7:2) is to prevent non-Jews from gaining any foothold on our Land, whatsoever.

Bennett's Plan vs. Arafat's Plan
Disturbingly similar...
However, many have suggested that Bennett's "plan" is simply progress in this direction, and that we can currently expect to achieve, due to the current time in which we live, and current attitudes of Jews, who cannot quite get their heads around the fact that halakhah (Torah Law) does not always usually match their preconceived, Western-exilic notions. But the ultimate goal of such "progress" never seems to get mentioned.

Peace? Peace with people who want the Land of Israel to themselves, Land which was Divinely promised to the Jewish? Peace with a people who wants to annihilate us?

Annexation of Yehudah and Shomron, without any thought given to even the theoretical possibility of the migration of Arabs currently residing in these areas, has been tried already, over and over and over again. No one would dare mention even the theoretical migration of Arabs from one area to another, because that would be racist, right?

And no one wants to be accused of being a racist, certainly not even the Prime Minister, like when he warned about Arabs being bused to polling booths.

The Jewish Home Party, its previous incarnation as the National Religious Party, and the Techiya Party, have all refused to acknowledge both parts of the misswah (Torah commandment) of inheriting the Land...

Numbers 33
52 then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their figured stones, and destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places. 53 And you shall drive out the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein; for to you have I given the land to possess it. 54 And you shall inherit the land by lot according to your families--to the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance; wheresoever the lot falla to any man, that shall be his; according to the tribes of your fathers shall you inherit. 55 But if you will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those that you let remain of them shall be as thorns in your eyes, and as pricks in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land wherein you dwell. 56 And it shall come to pass, that as I thought to do unto them, so will I do unto you.
Who can honestly say that the Arabs have not been "...as thorns in your eyes, and as pricks in your sides?"

One Jewish Home Party supporter even reminded me that it that it took hundreds of years, since Yehoshu'a Bin-Nun's initial conquest of Eretz Yisra'el (Land of Israel) until it was mostly free of the Canaanites (See the Books of Joshua and Judges).

My response was a simple one. Not only was he right, but that this source was the only logical one I have ever heard supporting Bennett's "plan."

However, I also had to ask him if over this 200 + year span, the Tribes of Israel settling in their Divinely Promised Homeland ever deter from their Torah principles, and thus their ultimate goal of a Canaanite-free homeland? Did they ever hide the truth of their ultimate goal of a Canaanite-free homeland?

Even if it were permissible to accept gerei toshav at this time, which the Israeli Chief Rabbinate apparently believes is the case, how many Arabs in Yehudah and the Shomron would actually qualify? For that matter, how many Arabs in Be'er Sheva, Yaffo, Nazareth, Akko, and Haifa would actually qualify?

Has Bennett ever once talked about his plan being just "progress," as a step in the direction of Jewish, Torah-observant, Homeland? What about a Jewish plus gerei toshav Homeland?

Not to my recollection.

PM Bibi Netanyahu
Let us also not forget that it was "right-wing" Prime Minister Netanyahu who gave "autonomy" to Jericho and Azza (Gaza), and not "left-wing" Rabin, Peres, nor Baraq.

The "Palestinian" Authority is up in arms over yesterday's elections, and Netanyahu's statements denouncing a future, Arab state within Israel's borders, which he already appears to have flipped-flopped on.

But, if the Arab are smart, then they are actually laughing behind the scenes, laughing because of the increase in number of Arab MK's, Netanyahu and Bennett's "plans," or their ever increasing birthrate, and voter turnout.

Prime Minister Netanyahu is simply acting the politician that he is.

But, Naftali Bennett is "religious," which I had always though meant Torah-observant, as in all of the Torah, and not just regarding what we put into our mouths and do or not do on Shabbath.

So, what's Bennett's excuse?

Marit Danon's Clever Op-Ed

Marit Danon was the head secretary in the prime minister's office for 13 years, serving under Prime Ministers Yitzhaq Shamir, Yitzhaq Rabin, Shimon Peres, Ehud Baraq, and Ariel Sharon. She also wrote the following opinion piece.
YNET: France is no longer a home for JewsOp-ed: Like in Poland 70 years ago, one should not walk around with a Star of David, be seen entering a synagogue or Jewish school, speak Hebrew out loud on the metro or shop in a kosher food store.

There was one picture from Paris which hit me more than anything: The one showing a young mother breastfeeding her infant son and protecting him from the freezing cold of the walk-in freezer in which some of the survivors of the Hyper Cacher supermarket were hiding.
That young mother, in my eyes, is the image of Smadar Haran, who in April 1979 hid with her two-year-old daughter Yael when a terrorist cell of the Palestine Liberation Front broke into her apartment. Her husband Danny and her eldest daughter Einat were shot in cold blood on the Nahariya beach. Little Yael didn't survive.
The young mother hiding in the Hyper Cacher freezer is also the image of my maternal grandparents, who in the seventh decade of their lives found a few days of grace in a hiding room built especially for that purpose. Gestapo soldiers marched on the streets of their hometown in Poland, and Jews were being sent to concentration camps. Long days behind a sealed wall, with no daylight, no elementary services – their only crime being their Jewishness. The hiding room only helped them for a few months. They didn't survive.

The young mother in Paris is also the image of my parents, who were forced to change their identity during the Nazi occupation of Poland, adopt a Christian Polish name and Aryan certificates and escape into the lion's mouth, into Nazi Germany. Three years of daily fear, of hiding, of denying their Jewishness – in order to live. Paris, Nahariya, Poland. Decades separate between these events, and one thread connects them: Our Jewishness, our Israeliness, and of course the hatred which knows no bounds.
Some of the survivors in my family found refuge in post-war Paris. France was the comfort after the years of hardship and persecution, and served for years as a cure for their soul. It was kind to them and gave them the power to collect the pieces of their life and build a new life. The hidden mental scars only seldom appeared, and were almost unnoticeable.
Today's France, unfortunately, is no longer a home. Like in Poland 70 years ago, walking around with a Star of David on one's neck is not so safe anymore, it's better not to be seen at the entrance to a synagogue or Jewish school, and one should not speak Hebrew out loud on the metro or shop in a kosher food store.
Unfortunately?
It seems to almost all of us that the best solution is immigrating to Israel – the home of the Jewish people, their stronghold, their shelter. It's so good that the state exists, because we no longer depend on other people's grace.
But the State of Israel is not the only answer for dealing with terror – a mass escape of Jews from their homelands is to some extent a surrender to terror and removal of the responsibility of the states in which terror is raising its ugly head.
Cleverly put, but this is the fundamental error of Danon's piece. What she misses is that Israel is a Jew's only, true homeland. This is not about runing away, quitting, or letting the Jew-hating terrorists and foreign governments "win."

This is about where the proper place is for us Jews to invest our time, energy, and money, not to mention our blood, sweat, and tears.

It is reprehensible that Danon puts Nahariya in the same sentence, let alone the same context, with Poland and France. The Almighty promised us the territory in which Nahariya is located, the tribal territory of Asher, and in 1948/תש"ח He fulfilled that promised. He did not promise us Poland, and He did not give us France.

My guess, though, is that God and His Torah are the furthest things from her mind. If I am wrong, well then, she did a fantastic job fooling me, because there isn't anything in the least bit connected to the proper path of the Jewish People in this article except for the title: France is no longer a home for Jews.

Actually, not even the title is accurate, as France was only a temporary dwelling place for Jews, just like Egypt, and, for that matter, just like the U. S., and every place else outside of Israel. These lands were never meant to be a permanent home.

Danon concludes with...
Every person, including every Jew, has the right to have the freedom to choose the place he wants to live in. As a citizen with equal rights in his country, he is entitled to security, a life without fear, the possibility of leading a religious and cultural life according to his tradition – and it is his state's duty to guarantee that.
Perhaps theoretically. How "pro-democratic" of her. After all, we do have the choice to choose the path The Almighty has chosen for us, or to forsake it. Of course, Danon completely misses this point, and by her statements, is a collaborator in keeping our fellow Jews in galuth.
