CNN? / What Can Israel Learn From A Video From CNN?

English follows the Hebrew.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Many of you will be wondering why I am posting a video from CNN, which I have been calling the Crescent News Network since 2007. I think it is worth a watch, to see how CNN presents settlers of our own land. For example, former Mayor of Qedumim Daniella Weiss actually says on camera, "The Arabs of Gaza lost the right to be in Gaza on October 7."

Many will see this as "extreme." But it is not even the whole truth. The Arabs never had a right to be there in the first place. We just did not have the chance, nor capability, nor, thanks to the left, the majority with the inclination.

Remember it was the Left that begged Arabs to stay after Israel's War of Independence in 1948. Assimilation* at its finest.

Then, of course, in 2005, the traitorous prime minister at the time, Ariel Sharon thought it would be a good idea to give back the chunks of land Jews held in Gaza, along with some more land in Northern Samaria, not so far from Daniella Weiss's home in Qedumim.

Sharon even held a referendum regarding the Likud Party platform on the issue. Likud Party members voted again evacuating expelling Jews from Gaza. Sharon left the Likud Party, formed the new Kadima Party with Leftist extraordinaire Shimon Peres, and implemented the plan anyway.

The plan failed miserably, and cost the lives of many Jews. Arabs from Gaza continued to be allowed into the current borders of Israel to work, with only occasional and symbolic breaks, because of a terror attack. A month here, a month there, and then it was back to business as usual. Nothing was solved, and only emboldened the Arabs to commit more acts of terror, the Israeli Government too dependent on the U. S. and the EU to make any significant change in policy.

Daniella Weiss takes a rather defensive, and I must say reactionary, stance regarding any potential return to Gaza. Although I know that she was against leaving Gaza in the first place in 2005, she never suggests that the return re-conquering of Gaza should be an ultimate goal in any case.
And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines, to Gerar. And the Lord appeared to him, and said: 'Do not go down to Egypt; dwell in the land which I will tell you of. Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you, and will bless you; for to you, and to your seed, I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath which I swore to Abraham your father; and I will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven, and will give unto your seed all these lands; and by your seed shall all the nations of the earth bless themselves;' (Gen. 26:1-4)
Isaac was commanded not to leave the Land of Israel. Gerar was in the land of the Philistines, in Gaza. By going to Gerar, Isaac was not leaving Israel. In other words, Gerar is part of Israel; Gaza, or at least much of it is part of Israel.

Furthermore, the Land of Israel was promised to Isaac and his descendants, and not to his brother Ishmael and his descendants. Arabs themselves claim to be descended from Ishmael.

The above verses also answer Ward's question, "But is there anything about Gush Qatif mentioned in here?" when MK Amichai Eliyahu explains that his decisions are guarded by the Torah.

I certainly hope she knows that the Torah is the beginning of the Bible, more precisely identified as Tana"kh. I wonder if she would have behaved differently if she had been shown the Quran. You know? More respectfully. (5:50-6:05)

I certainly prefer Eliyahu's take over Weiss's, that the Land belongs to us in the first place. Of course, Weiss knows this. She knows her audience, as well. I hope she not simply focusing on hasbara (PR; explanations) to the international community, and other non-Jews, and remembering the importance of informing and educating our fellow Jews in exile.

The real problem is those rabbis who would consider Weiss too extreme. Call them fraidy cats. Call them co-dependent on the goyim. Call them castrated. I call them Mamlakhtim (diehard state loyalists). I call them too entrenched in Western (ie. non-Jewish) exilic mentality, not only "Oy vey! What will the goyim (non-Jews) say?!" But rather they are too much like the very goyim whose opinions they are so concerned about.

Many of these rabbis have no clue that this is the case, thanks to the Israeli public, religious educational system. But some do realize it, embrace it, believe it is not only acceptable but ideal. They are oblivious to the fact that they are alienating, excluding, even erasing the cultural sensitivities of those Jews from Arab countries who know from first-hand experience much better that they do about our Ishmaelite enemies and how they operate.

All rabbis need to pay close attention to these Jews from Arab countries and their experiences, and leave everything they know about dealing with non-Jewish nations in the West at the door. Then they will hardly see Jews like Daniella Weiss as extreme, nor even Jews like MK Amichai Elihayu.

*********

*Assimilation = detachment from Jewish culture, often desiring to like non-Jews, resulting in the disappearance of the lines of these Jews, indistinguishable them from non-Jews. Lack of Jewish education, poor Jewish education, and/or false Jewish education often has a hand in this. Intermarriage with non-Jews often plays a role in the disappearance of these Jews as well.

Parahath Bo: Portuguese Jews, Take the Money and Run!

Times Of Israel...

YNET: Jewish community versus Portuguese government: Claims damages of 10 million euros and demands apology
Portuguese passport affair: Charges against members of the Jewish community were completely dropped, now they are suing for millions for damage to their good name and the harm they suffered

Itamar Eichner | 12.20.23

The Jewish community in Porto last week submitted a lawsuit to the civil court in Lisbon, in which it asks for compensation in the amount of 10 million euros from the state. Community representatives say that in 2022 the community and its leaders fell victim to "political aggression" by the prosecutors' office and the police in Lisbon . According to the indictment, the actions taken by the attorney general and the police in Portugal generated tens of thousands of messages of hate against the community on social networks and in the press, and about a million posts on social media platforms associating the name of the community with the word corruption, which fatally damaged any future ability of the community to raise donations for its religious and cultural activities...

...According to the indictment and the petition, on March 11, 2022, the Office of the Attorney General and the police in Portugal distributed a joint announcement that the two bodies were investigating crimes committed by the Jewish community in Porto: criminal association, corruption, forgery, tax fraud and money laundering...

...The case that ignited the aggressive moves against the community centered on reports in the Portuguese media that Russian businessman and oligarch, Roman Abramovich, a close associate of Russian President Vladimir Putin who at that time had started the war against Ukraine, illegally received confirmation of his Spanish-Jewish origin from the Porto Jewish community. The Spanish heritage claim was never presented with any evidence and, in fact, it was proven to be incorrect by the community.

Both the indictment and the lawsuit describe how the rabbi of the community was arrested and how a humiliating search was conducted inside the community's institutions, including the Kadoorie Mekor Haim Synagogue - considered the largest in the Iberian Peninsula, the Jewish Museum and the homes of the community leaders. (cont.)
According to Canaan Lidor's report at the Times Of Israel, June 2, 2023...
Responding to questions about the lineage of Abramovich, who was born into an overwhelmingly Ashkenazi community, Jewish community representatives have cited affirmations of his Sephardic roots by a leader of Russia’s Chabad community — which also has good ties with Putin. They stress that the government has the ultimate say in who is naturalized.
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
The report above from YNET is long, thus only segments have been copied and pasted here. Its continuation provides more details of the attacks on Jews by Portuguese authorities, as well as the "Spanish Law," in question which provides those descending from Jewish families expelled from Portugal in the 16th Century a path toward Portuguese citizenship.

From last week's Torah portion:
And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they asked of the Egyptians silver items, and gold items, and raiment. And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. And they despoiled the Egyptians. (Ex. 12:35-36)
The Babylonian Talmud (Sanhedrin 91a) recounts that about 900 years after the exodus from Egypt...
The people of Egypt came for judgment with Israel before Alexander of Macedon (Alexander the Great). The Egyptian people said to Alexander: It says in the Torah: “And the Lord gave the people favor in the eyes of Egypt, and they lent them” (Ex. 12:36). Give us the silver and gold that you took from us; [you claimed that you were borrowing it and you never returned it.]
Israel's representative Geviha Ben Pesisa responded to the claim with...
Give us the wages for the work [performed] by [the] 600,000 [men above the age of 20] whom you enslaved in Egypt for four hundred and thirty years. (Ex. 12:37).
Alexander the Great gave the Egyptians three days to respond to Geviha ben Pesisa's claim, but were unable to come up with a response.

Sure, the case between Israel and the Egyptians is not at all the same as what has been taking place between the Jews of Porto and the Portuguese government, with one exception. If and when the Jews win their case agains the Portuguese authorities, they should not feel in the least bit guilty about accepting compensation for damages.

First off, their deserve to be compensated for the damage done to the community by the harsh treatment and liabelous speech of the authorities. And second, the granting of citizenship was supposed enough to repair the damage of the expulsion Jews 500 years ago in the first place? Not in the least.

Let us hope that our Portuguese brethren will take the hint from the Jew-hating atmosphere of their current refuge in the non-Jewish land of Portugal, and learn from the the example of our forebears whom The Almighty took out of Egypt. They should take any money they win, and they should leave for their only, true homeland, the Land of Israel.

The Expulsion of Jews from Tapu'ah West

English follows the Hebrew. The video of the events of early yesterday morning was filmed by Binyamin Lehava.

From Yekutiel Ben-Yaakov, June 17, 2018:
The cops and troops are beating the youth badly without provocation on the side of the families and the young people that came to protest the violent expulsion. Please forward the link anywhere you can. They closed the area to the media so this is the only outlet to publish the desecration.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
This hilltop was approved almost 20 years ago, during Prime Minister Ehud Baraq's government. The Beth-El Ulpanah neighborhood was destroyed 13 years after it had been constructed, and the first residents had moved in. In other words, the Israeli Government is becoming increasingly bold when it comes to reneging on its commitments to the Jewish People to protect it, to its homes, and to protect its Divinely promised Land. An Arab pops up after 2 years, 13 years, and now 20 years, claiming ownership of almost always goaded into it by self-hating Leftist.

The destruction of the Tapu'ah West (Tal Binyamin) Synagogue,
carried out with IDF Rabbinate approval, 2003/תשס"ג
From the video, you can see that there are residents and Torah observant supporters who are not willing to take their expulsion and destruction of their neighborhood lying down. There are also still some prominent students of Rav Meir Kahane hy"d residing in Kfar Tapu'ah, including those who were very close with his son Rav Binyamin hy"d. However, they are very much in the minority, and recognize the gravity of the situation. And that situation is not simply that the government will throw Jews out of their homes at the blink of an eye, give up land to Arabs who want to annihilate us, kowtow to the non-Jewish nations instead of listening to their own constituents, let alone to the Holy One, Blessed Be He.

Yet, Jews, particularly those residing outside of Israel, still seem to think that Kfar Tapu'ah is some fantastical place where the residents have the power will be able to overcome not only the force of the army and/or the police, but also their own neighbors. That's right. Their neighbors.

Kfar Tapu'ah has been turning increasingly mamlakhti (diehard State-loyalist) since at least 2000 when leading residents Rav Binyamin and Talia Kahane hy"d , in whose memory the Tapu'ah West hilltop neighborhood was established, were murdered by Arab terrorists.

Here is the open letter (Hebrew) written by the Kfar Tapu'ah council describing their position on the matter, as well as their agreement with the government. This is who they are up against.

The truth is that most of the towns in Azza (Gaza/Gush Qatif) and in the northern Shomron (Samaria) whose Jews were expelled and the towns themselves destroyed by Arabs, back in תשס״ה/2005, were diehard State loyalists till the end. And, yes, you read correctly. The Arabs destroyed their homes, instead of just moving into them.

Either Israel is ours or its not ours. The Israeli Government is simply not interested in answering this question. Rather, it interested in a democratic (deMOCKratic) state just like the goyim, with a few Jewish sprinkles and quasi-Zionist cherry on top. It is not in the least bit interested in building a truly Jewish (ie. Torah) nation. Quite the opposite in fact. Jews who hold Torah above the State are believed to be its greatest ear threat. Not the Arabs. The State of Israel already decided upon its borders ages ago, more or less. Jews finally need to wake up to this fact.

Israel Continues on the Path to Divide Jerusalem

My friend the Kalashnikover Rebbe had this to say about U. S. Vice-President Joe Biden's visit to Israel...
Posted by Kalashnikover Rebbe on Wednesday, March 9, 2016
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
The Kalashnikover Rebbe's questions are rhetorical, of course. They must be, because the answers are so obvious, at least to anyone in Israel, who has been paying attention. Nevertheless, I will address his questions point by point.
Joe Biden
Can someone 'splain me what Joe Biden was doing meeting Shimon Peres, at the Peres Center for Peace on an OFFICIAL Diplomatic visit?
1. Because Peres is the true overload of Israel, and Biden knows it.
Shimon Peres
Peres is not a member of the Israeli government, and the Peres Center is a supposedly non political NGO that is not in line with the ideology or positions of the Israeli government. What business does a US official have there?

2. None, but see the answer to Question #1.
How is such chutzpa tolerated?
3. Because the Israeli public has been successfully brainwashed, and is the quintessential example of learned helplessness.
How long will people like Shimon Peres continue to UNDERMINE the elected government of Israel to promote their nefarious agendas?
4. Probably until 120, but hopefully not for that long.
Why does the Israeli government tolerate this?
5. See answers to Questions #1 and #3. We vote for them.
The Oslo Death accords were the result of ILLEGAL treasonous meetings with the PLO behind the back of the Israeli Government. Now they just go and do it out in the open???
6. Yes. Because we're numbed out, and we let them.

Meanwhile, talk about dividing Jerusalem as a "solution" to Arab terrorism steadily increases, the three terrorist attacks upon Vice-President Biden's arrival even being used to support this cockamamie idea.

Arieh King
Jerusalem City Councilman Arie King has been warning us of the Israeli Government's plans for years. But, this has only fallen on deaf ears.

It is the same collective denial we saw in 2005/תשס"ה when residents of Azza (Gaza/Gush Qatif) refused to believe that the government would ever expel almost 10,000 Jews from their homes.

And look what happened there.

Will Jerusalem Mayor Barakat Protect Jews?

Ha'Aretz: Jerusalem Mayor Calls on Civilians to Carry Weapons in Wake of Terror Attacks Proposal will lead to anarchy and shows government has lost control, charges Member of Knesset Tzipi Livni.

Nir Hasson, Oct 08, 2015

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat called on civilians who own firearms to carry them at all times in the wake of a spate of stabbing and shooting attacks by Palestinians in Jerusalem, the West Bank and various places in Israel. “I think that carrying a licensed pistol and knowing what to do with it is imperative; it’s like doing reserve duty,” said the mayor in an interview to Army Radio on Thursday morning.

“In retrospect, we can see that statistically the neutralization of terrorists was often done by capable people who weren’t necessarily policemen,” said Barkat, explaining his call for “weapon owners who know how to use them should carry them.”

Ashdod police commander Noam Shekel echoed that call at a town council meeting, where he urged city residents who own weapons to carry them “in order to increase the sense of security in the city.”

Criteria for licensing weapons were eased last year in the wake of a series of terrorist attacks. According to Knesset statistics, in 2013 there were 157,000 legal weapons in private hands in Israel, with 43,000 additional ones in the hands of security guards and another 130,000 rifles and pistols held by different organizations. These numbers do not include military firearms, or guns used by police or prison services. In addition, there were 7,000 unlicensed guns in 2012.

However, the Knesset Interior Committee demanded that the police prohibit security guards from bringing their weapons home, citing figures showing that at least 30 people were murdered over the last decade by weapons belonging to off–duty security guards.

MK Tzipi Livni (Zionist Camp) said during a tour of the Old City in Jerusalem that “transferring responsibility to the citizens of Israel and calls for carrying weapons indicate a loss of control by the government and will lead to total anarchy.” (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Mayor Nir Barakat with his "Glock"
(Screen Shot: "Mabat," Channel 1)
Mayor Barakat is right to encourage citizens to carry weapons. He is of course, careful to say "citizens," and not "Jews." Either he is still in denial of the reality of Israel's Arab "citizens," or he believes that he should keep quiet about it, for the sake of his political career.

In another report from Ha'Aretz (Hebrew), he suggests that we should see ourselves as being on reserve duty. However, I also think that someone needs to tell Mayor Barakat that the State of Israel has been disarming its citizens, for years now. After declaring that the criteria for licensing weapons were eased last year,"

Living in Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria), where it would supposedly be easier to procure a weapon's license, weapons are being taken away for the slightest infraction. Security companies have been taking over the security of Jewish towns, from its residents. (No doubt, due to collaboration of local councils with the State.)

Residents who apply to work for these companies are told that they may not work in their own towns. Even though it would obviously be very convenient for them and their families. Apparently, the State is already looking ahead to the next round of planned expulsions of Jews. A resident of a town working security in his town is a lot less likely to participate in the expulsion of Jews from his own town.

Ha'Aretz's Nir Hasson conveniently omits the number of weapons on the streets today. How much of an increase in weapons licenses has this easing of criteria produced?

But, I digress...

MK Livni (non-Zionist Camp) is right about the "transferring of responsibility to the citizens" to protect themselves. Someone has to protect us, and since the State of Israel isn't, why shouldn't we be allowed, and even encouraged to protect ourselves?

For that matter, in our current state, I am not so sure that "a loss of control by the government" and "total anarchy" would be such bad things.

Synagogue to be Destroyed with a Message to Efrat Residents

Yet another Jewish structure is slated for demolition, due to a claim by an Arab that the land it was built on is his.

Jews have documents proving the land's purchase, 20 years ago. Apparently, that is not important to the Israeli courts.

Did I mention that this structure is a synagogue? Israeli courts are in the business of destroying synagogues.

Why does this not surprise me?
Arutz 7: Givat Ze'ev Synagogue Evacuated, Worshipers in Tears
Security forces begin to remove equipment from the synagogue in Givat Ze'ev ahead of its planned demolition.
Eliran Aharon, 8/10/2015
Civil Administration forces on Sunday night began to evacuate the synagogue Ayelet HaShahar synagogue in the town of Givat Ze'ev.

The Supreme Court earlier on Sunday postponed the demolition of the synagogue until August 17, following the intervention of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. While the demolition will be held off until that date, all the equipment in the synagogue will be removed for the time being.

On Monday, the worshipers will hold a special ceremony, following which the Torah scrolls will be removed from the synagogue.

The synagogue, which has been in use for over 20 years, was slated to be demolished after a far-left group filed a petition with the Court, claiming that the structure had been build on privately-owned Palestinian Arab land.
The petition had been working its way through the courts for at least three years. Members of the congregation have offered the land's alleged owners a high price for the purchase or rental of the land, but they, and their lawyers, have insisted that the synagogue be torn down. It is not clear why the Palestinian claimants waited some two decades to make their claims, the congregants said.

The heads of the congregation are in possession of documents showing that they bought the land from its owners, which is the reason that the court has not yet finalized its decision, their attorneys said. The congregation's attorneys are hoping to make one final appeal to prevent the demolition.
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Over 10 years ago, I remember "Yael," resident of Efrat, and at the time, member of Women In Green, tell Elisheva Federman, resident and activist from Hevron, that she knew that Efrat would never be evacuated, but that if Hevron needed to be evacuated for the sake of peace, then she would understand.

Shortly after this televised panel discussion, "Yael" parted ways with Women In Green.

Residents of Efrat, believe that their town is safe, as the well-behaved, suburban jewel, of the "settler movement," and Israeli Government itself.

Speaking of Efrat, former Gush Etzion mayor Shaul Goldstein moved to Azza 10 years ago, in alleged "solidarity" with those slated for expulsion from their homes. The YeSh"A (Judea, Samaria, and Gaza) Council collaborated with the Israeli Government in the expulsion of Jews from Azza.

Adding insult to injury, on that fateful day of the expulsion of Jews from Azza, Mayor Goldstein faked his own expulsion from his temporary home for the cameras.

Tomer Devorah also remembers similar incidents, of so-called "settlers" turning against each other, some of whom are the same "settlers" who tell us not to show "baseless hatred" toward Arabs. Like their "rabbis," they obviously ignorant of halakhah (Torah Law) on several levels.

Ten years ago, a friend of mine produced a T-Shirt with the phrase...

Tel-Aviv is a settlement.

...while in Tel-Aviv is is possible to see the graffiti, "The Settler is not my brother!" all over town.

Last year's Hamas rockets did not wake them up to the realities of being Jews. Now, it is clear that Hezbollah's missiles have the capability of reaching Tel-Aviv.

Neither have the thefts, assaults and rapes at the hands of Sudanese and Eritrean insurgents in the city's southern neighborhoods.

Aftermath of the destruction of the Tapu'ah West Synagogue.
The destruction was carried out with IDF Rabbinate approval.
Not a whole lot of "settlers" expressed concern when the Tapu'ah West Synagogue  was destroyed in 2003. Even though the land upon which it was built had been in Jewish hands for years, and with the approval of Prime Minister Ehud Baraq, 10 years previously.

Beth-El Ulpana Neighborhood apartment buildings, standing 13 years, before being destroyed.
Remember the Beit Ulpanah Neighborhood in Beth-El? It actually stood for 13 years, before the land upon which it stood was claimed, and the the neighborhood subsequently destroyed.

Quite a few Beth-El residents even joined in the expulsion of their own neighbors from this complex.

Now, we hear about a synagogue in Givat Ze'ev. Givat Ze'ev is a town just north of Jerusalem, with a population of around 15,000. Like Beitar, Ariel, Ma'aleh Adumim, Qedumim, Qiriyath Sefer, and Efrat, Givat Ze'ev is one of those towns in the medium to large range, which no one believes would ever be dismantled and expelled of its Jews, as it is within the "settlement blocks," the Israeli Government has stated that it intends to keep, even it hands over anymore lands at all to the Arabs in a final settlement agreement.

So-called "settlement blocks" viewed as "keepers" by the Israeli Government
Do you see the pattern that I see?

It seems that the Israeli Supreme Court is hellbent on ridding Yehudah and Shomron of every Jew, and handing the land over to Arabs who lay claim to it years after the fact, and often encouraged to do so by leftist "Jews."

Lucky for Tel-Aviv, though, I have yet to see any claims lodged against the affluent, leftist, Tel-Aviv neighborhood of Ramat Aviv or Tel-Aviv University, both built on the Arab village of Sheikh Munis.

This is post is not only a message, or rather a warning, to the residents of Efrat, who see themselves as Jerusalem suburbanites, but also to the residents of North Tel-Aviv, who often appear to be living in a bubble, identifying more as "progressive" Europeans than as Jews living in the Middle East.

No one is safe from expulsion, not a neighborhood standing for 13 years, not a synagogue standing for 20 years, not a Jerusalem suburb, and not even Tel-Aviv.

Beit-El: Journey Back into Denial

YNET: Netanyahu green lights construction of 300 homes in Beit El
In victory to settlers, prime minister okays building of homes promised after the evacuation of Givat Ulpana in 2012; Sa-Nur squatters agree to leave, if commission is formed to examine return to settlement.

Itamar Eichner, Itay Blumenthal, 07.29.15

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu green lighted on Wednesday the construction of 300 housing units in Beit El, mere hours after destruction began of the Draynoff buildings that have been at the center of a dispute between settlers and the Israeli government and High Court of Justice. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Yeah, right, like that'll happen!

This is a victory for settlers?

Reason to pose for photos with the unit which expelled their neighbors out of their homes?

Anonymous: Many magavnikim (border patrol officers) love Israel and love the people of Israel, and do not want to destroy homes. They should refuse orders, but I understand that many of them are afraid to.
Instead of posing for photos with the IDF and police, and serving them cold drinks, they should occasionally go out to the entrance of their town, and read their own sign,...and take their children with them.

Oh, yeah. The residents of this religious town should open the Torah up, once in a while, too.

Genesis 28: 12-19And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven; and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. And, behold, the LORD stood beside him, and said: 'I am the LORD, the God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac. The land where you lie, to you will I give it, and to your seed. And your seed will be as the dust of the earth, and you will spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. And in you and in your seed you, will all the families of the earth be blessed. And, behold, I am with you, and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back into this land; for I will not leave you, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.' And Jacob awakened from his sleep, and he said: 'Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.' And he was afraid, and said: 'How full of awe is this place! this is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.' And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put under his head, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it. And he called the name of that place Beth-El, but the name of the city was Luz at the first.

The Battle in Beit El: What's the Fight About?

YNET: The battle in Beit El: What's the fight about?
High Court's order to destroy Draynoff buildings in West Bank community follows an ongoing litigation between State of Israel and a Palestinian petitioner over private land seized by the IDF in 1970.
Telem Yahav, 07.29.15
A dispute over piece of land seized by the IDF in 1970 is back in the headlines following recent clashes between security forces and settlers in Beit El and the High Court's order to tear down two controversial housing structures, known as the Draynoff buildings, in the West Bank community. When and how will this dispute end? Only time will tell.

Three years after the Six-Day War, a private piece of land north of Ramallah was seized for military purposes. Eight years later, the government approved the establishment of the Beit El community on that land.
Thirty-two years later, in 2010, Abd al-Rahman Qassem petitioned the High Court of Justice through Attorneys Michael Sfard and Shlomy Zachary of the Yesh Din human rights movement, claiming that some buildings in the western part of Beit El were built on private land which belonged to him. The buildings' construction was illegal, and that very year the Civil Administration issued an order to stop the construction work and demolish the buildings. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
OK. I am not even going to address the "32 years later" issue, no matter how ludicrous it is, because it is also completely irrelevant.

The IDF did not seize this Land; they conquered it!

Numbers 33
50 And the LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying: 51 'Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan, 52 then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their figured stones, and destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places. 53 And you shall drive out the inhabitants of the land, and dwell in it; for to you have I given the land to possess it. 54 And you shall inherit the land by lot according to your families--to the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance; wheresoever the lot fall to any man, that shall be his; according to the tribes of your fathers you will inherit. 55 But if you will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then shall those that ye let remain of them be as thorns in your eyes, and as pricks in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land in which you dwell. 56 And it shall come to pass, that as I thought to do unto them, so will I do to you.
The fact that the Israeli Supreme Court, supported by many Member of K'nesseth, and operatives back the scenes, seem to want to stretch themselves as far as humanly possible to find ways and means to give away parts of our conquered Land, may, at first glance, be confusing. However, it is really not that hard to understand.

MK Yair Lapid explains it for us quite well is a recent Facebook status.

How dare they call themselves the national camp, and then go to blows with police officers and IDF soldiers? How dare they call themselves the national camp, and go out against the rule of law and court? How dare they call themselves the national camp, and weaken us in front of the world? How dare they call themselves the national camp if they sell the state to an extremist and violent group for political survival? How dare they call themselves the national camp if they get stunned and give to any ultimatum, bizarre as it may be? The real national camp is the majority of Israeli citizens who are not ready to fragment their state for the sake of a few lawbreakers. (July 29, 2015)

MK Yair Lapid is not the only one who seems to think that giving up our Divinely promised, and given, Homeland, because an Arab comes to claim it, and the Israeli Supreme Court backs him up, is representative of the "national camp."

And, it is.

It is representative of the State "national camp."

The horribly misguided children serving drinks to their own expulsion forces are part of this camp.

They are the brainwashed, robotic, State loyalist drones in training (AKA Mamlakhtim). They are part of Yair Lapid's national camp, not the Torah's "national camp."

What if an Arab, or anyone else for that matter, came to claim a yellow piece of the on the right? After all, those yellow pieces conquered by the State of Israel do not appear to have been approved by the United Nations. Would it be given to that person? What if one hundred or one thousand Arabs did the same?

Nahariyah? Akko? Be'er Sheva?

What if those Arabs desiring to claim their homes and lands, abandoned in 1948, under the proposed "Palestinian Right of Return?"

What if those properties included Sheikh Munis, where parts Tel-Aviv University and the left-wing, upscale Ramat Aviv neighborhood are now located?

Would they be returned to their "rightful," Arab owners?

I sincerely doubt it.

So, do you believe that...

Torah laws take precedence over the laws of men.

...or not?

This what the battle in Beth-El is really about, not having your cake, and eating it, too.

Beth-El: Where Jacob Dreamed, and his Children Fight

Genesis 28: 12-19
And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven; and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
There is actually more than one opinion as to where Ya'aqov (Jacob) dreamed his dream. Nevertheless, the connection between Ya'aqov and Beth-El is traditionally strong.
YNET: 200 settlers clash with police in Beit El
Officials join families in defiantly repopulating Sa-Nur, a settlement abandoned in the disengagement, as youths battle security forces for control of Beit El near Ramallah.

Itay Blumenthal, 07.28.15

Violence erupted in the settlement of Beit El near Ramallah late Monday night when a group of approximately 200 young adults took control of the so-called Draynoff buildings, two housing structures which the High Court ordered be torn down Sunday night.

Security forces arrested 50 of the activists according to Honenu, an organization that offers legal help to Israelis. The rest of those protesting in Beit El were removed using riot control measures. The activists claimed that security forces used tear gas was inside the buildings in an attempt to remove those present.

The area was designated as a closed military zone and Israeli Border Police occupied the Draynoff buildings in order to prevent the return of the violent protesters.

Meanwhile, some 250 people, including dozens of families that were removed from the Sa-Nur settlement in the West Bank during the disengagement in 2005, returned to the village overnight without approval from Israeli security forces.

Government officials joined the group, including Bayit HaYehudi MK Bezalel Smotrich and former MK Professor Aryeh Eldad. The entered the fort-like structure that remains standing in Sa-Nur with the intention of permanently returning to the settlement.

"Ten years after the disengagement, it's about time to fix things. And that begins here, in northern Samaria," said Smotrich in a press release. "Families have begun settling into the rooms of the fort with the intention of staying for some time. We don't intend to move from here."

Security officials offered Smotrich and the others in Sa-Nur nothing but an ultimatum that they would be removed by force if they had not left of their own free will by 2pm.

Political Storm
The events in Beit El also led to a political storm Tuesday, with leaders on the political right claiming they were doing their utmost to strengthen settlements and prevent the destruction of the Draynoff buildings.

PM
"Our stance on this issue is clear," said Netanyahu. "We oppose their destruction and we're acting through the courts to prevent this step."

While making similar comments himself, Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon's decision to send troops into the settlement drew criticism from his political partners from Bayit Yehudi and former foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman who called for Ya'alon's resignation.

From the other side of the settlement debate, Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid called for the full support of IDF troops on the ground in Beit El.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Rabbi Zalman Melamed
After the Israeli governments last shenanigans in Beth-El, the town's Rabbi Melamed himself said he had felt betrayed by the government.

So, why are Beth-El residents repeating the thing over again, trusting the government, expecting different results?

The last time there were major clashes in Beth-El, they were between residents, misguided, State loyalists, and those defending Jewish settlement of Israel. Now they are back to being between the police and residents. Does this mean that Beth-El is waking up?

Nothing exciting to see here, except that the Israeli Border Police do not seem to like being videotaped very much, do they?
(Video: Beth-El Spokeswomen)

No. Apparently not.

What in the heck are these kids from Beth-El doing, handing out drinks to the same security forces, there to expel their neighbors from their homes??!!

Arutz 7 TV
(Screen Shot)
Anyone involved at all in these kids' education should be fired, and that includes their mamlakhti (diehard, State loyalist) parents!

The message has been clear for ages, Arab testimony is held on a higher level than Jewish testimony, even when the Arabs do not have any documents to support their claims, but the Jews do.

Equal enforcement of the law towards Jews, as suggested by Defense Minister Ya'alon and MK Lapid? I think not.

Who is running the country? The legislature, elected to enact the will of the people? Or the courts?

We have met the enemy, and they are the Erev Rav courts,...those officials allowing this travesty to continue, and those of us standing idly by.

I think that we Jews need to get over this whole democracy thing, and fast. There is a reason is not working.

It's not Jewish.

The Torah is the only justification Jews have for laying claim to Eretz Yisra'el (Land of Israel), ALL of Eretz Yisra'el. Yet, it is very rare, indeed, that an MK will ever quote from the Torah, to point out this justification.

I am the LORD, the God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac. The land where you lie, to you will I give it, and to your seed. And your seed will be as the dust of the earth, and you will spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. And in you and in your seed you, will all the families of the earth be blessed. And, behold, I am with you, and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back into this land; for I will not leave you, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.' (Gen. 28:13-15)
PLO Emblem
Mahmud Abbas's Pseudostine
There is no difference between Beth-El and Har HaBayith (Temple Mount) and Tel-Aviv. Not only does all of it belong to us, but the Arabs want it all.

The Palestinian Pseudostinian Liberation Organization's [PLO] emblem and Palestinian Pseudostinian Authority President Abbas's map speak for themselves.

When will our government finally get that through its thick skull?

When we will finally get it through our thick skulls, that the government never will?
