בכיר פתח לשעבר מוחמד דחלאן כתב ברשת X כי לאחר שחמאס והפלגים הפלסטיניים אישרו את מסמך 15 הנקודות ליישום השלב השני של התוכנית האמריקנית לרצועת עזה, "הצלחת ההסכם תלויה במחויבותה המלאה של ישראל להפסקת התקיפות, ההרג והחיסולים ברצועת עזה". לדברי דחלאן, שאינו נושא כיום תפקיד רשמי ברשות הפלסטינית ומציג את עצמו כמי שמעורב במגעים מול האמריקנים וביישום ההסכם, "ג'ארד קושנר הבטיח כי הגיע להסכמה עם הצד הישראלי על הפסקת התקיפות החל מיום ראשון בבוקר". דחלאן קרא לפלגים לעמוד בהסכם, להפסיק מפגנים חמושים ולהימנע מצעדים שעלולים לספק לישראל עילה לסכלו.

בואו נזכיר לעצמנו מי זה מוחמד דחלאן.

דחלאן, בן 64, היה בין מייסדי תנועת הנוער של פתח. בשנת 1987 הוא נעצר בשל תפקידו באינתיפאדה הראשונה וגורש לירדן. בשנת 1994, עם קידום הסכמי דחלאן, בן 64, היה בין מייסדי תנועת הנוער של פתח. בשנת 1987 הוא נעצר בחשד לתפקידו באינתיפאדה הראשונה וגורש לירדן. בשנת 1994, עם קידום הסכמי אוסלו, הוא חזר לעזה ומאוחר יותר מונה לראש שירות הביטחון המסכל. הוא התפטר מתפקידו בשנת 2002 ומאוחר יותר מונה, בין היתר, לשר הפנים ולשר לעניינים אזרחיים, שאחראי על תיק ההתנתקות.

ברור שדחלאן פועל באופן עצמאי גם מחמאס וגם מהרשות הפלסטינית. הוא הסתלק מעזה הנשלטת על ידי חמאס, וגורש מפתח, כאשר נתפס כאיום על הנהגת מחמוד עבאס. מפלגת הפתח הייתה יורשתה של ארגון השחרור הפלסטיני הטרוריסטי [אש"ף].

תפיסת השליטה על עזה על ידי חמאס בשנת 2007 הושגה למעשה באמצעות מה שתואר כבחירות דמוקרטיות "חופשיות והוגנות". כלומר, תושבי עזה עצמם הצביעו לחמאס.

נשיא ארה"ב ג'ורג' וו. בוש לחץ את לרש״פ לבצע את בחירות חוזרות, שלא התקיימו.

תקראו לזה איך שתרצו, דחלאן גורש מעזה או שהוא בחר לעבור בגלל האיומים על חייו.

בשנת 2005 ישראל מסרה את עזה וגם ארבעה ישובים שבשומרון לערבים . זה כלל את כל הבתים שהיו לתושבים היהודיים. אבל במקום לנצל את כל הדיור החינמי ב"מרחב המאוכלס ביותר על פני כדור הארץ", הערבים הרסו אותם. מה זה אומר עליהם?

ובכל זאת, אנשים בבכל רחבי העולם, כולל יהודים, ממשיכים לדרוש שנרחם על הערבים המסכנים שבעזה. אפילו התירוצים שחמאס מונע מזון ומשתמש בהם כמגנים אנושיים כבר לא מקובלים. הערבים בעזה עשו את זה לעצמם.

אז, האם הערבים שבעזה יקבלו את דחלאן כמציל ומושיע שלהם? האם חמאס יהיה מוכן לנצל את דחלאן כבובה של האסטרטגיה הבאה שלו כדי להשמיד את עם ישראל? חלילה! האם דחלאן ישתמש בתפקידו החדש כדי לנקום בחמאס, ואולי גם בפתח?

ממשל ארה״ב תמך במשפחת המלוכה של איראן, ואז ראתה את המאמץ הזה נכשל בצורה כישלון חרוץ. ואז נכנס לעיראק. האם עשו [ארה"ב] יתפתה לסמוך על ישמעאלי [ערבי/מוסלמי], שוב?

יתר על כן, חתנו של טראמפ, שומר התורה, ג'ארד קושנר פנה ל דחלאן. זוכרים אותו? הוא אמר...

Former Fatah senior Mohammed Dahlan wrote on X that after Hamas and the Palestinian factions approved the 15-point document for implementing the second phase of the American plan for the Gaza Strip, "the success of the agreement depends on Israel's full commitment to stopping the attacks, killings and assassinations in the Gaza Strip." According to Dahlan, who currently holds no official position in the Palestinian Authority and presents himself as involved in contacts with the Americans and in implementing the agreement, "Jared Kushner promised that he reached an agreement with the Israeli side to stop the attacks starting Sunday morning." Dahlan called on the factions to abide by the agreement, stop armed demonstrations and avoid marches that could provide Israel with a pretext to thwart it.

Esser Agaroth (2¢): How many times to have to remind you that we have seen this before? Israel stops the targeted assassinations of Arabs with blood on their hands, in order to prevent more Jewish blood from spilled. The Arabs take that time to re-group, re-arm, and train, all for the ultimate goal expressed explicitly in ALL of their emblems (above). The Fatah Party of Dahlan and Abbas is no different than Hamas, except in approach. Fatah is more patient.

Let's remind ourselves who Dahlan is.

Dahlan, 64, was among the founders of Fatah’s youth movement. In 1987, he was arrested over his role in the first intifada and deported to Jordan. In 1994, with the advancement of the Oslo Accords, he returned to Gaza and was later appointed head of the Preventive Security Service. He resigned from the post in 2002 and was later appointed, among other roles, interior minister and civil affairs minister, handling the disengagement portfolio.

During the second intifada, intelligence officials linked Dahlan to several terror attacks in Gaza, including the 2000 attack on a children’s bus in which two residents of Kfar Darom were murdered.

When Hamas seized control of the Gaza Strip in 2007, Dahlan and his forces were defeated, and he left Gaza with many of his supporters. In 2011, Dahlan was expelled from Fatah following claims that he had worked with a group of senior organization officials to oust Abbas. He went into exile in the UAE, where he became close to Abu Dhabi ruler and UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed, eventually becoming his adviser.

Dahlan has since amassed tens of millions of dollars from brokering deals, at least some of which, according to past claims, involved Israeli security officials. In January 2024, he criticized Hamas’ October 7 terror attack, saying it had brought total destruction to the Strip. “It may lead to hope for coexistence between the two peoples or open the gate to a new hell and a spiral of violence and revenge,” he said at the time, urging Israel to extend a hand for peace rather than revenge.

The Wall Street Journal described him then as a “rare” Palestinian leader who operates independently of both Hamas and the Palestinian Authority — in a way that could theoretically allow Israel to cooperate with him. According to the 2024 report, in the first months after the war began, Dahlan shuttled between the UAE and Egypt, advising the leaders of both countries.

Of course, Dahlan operates independently from both Hamas and the Palestinian Authority [PA]. He had to leave Hamas-controlled Gaza, and was expelled from Fatah, when he was seen as a threat to the leadership of Mahmud Abbas. The Fatah Party was the successor to the terrorist Palestinian Liberation Organization [PLO].

The 2007 seizing of control in Gaza by Hamas was actually through what were determined to be "fair and free," Democratic elections. In other words, the residents of Gaza themselves voted Hamas in.

Then U. S. President George W. Bush pushed for an elections "do over." That never happened.

Call it what you will, Dahlan was thrown out of Gaza. Or, he chose to relocate, after the threats on his life. Take your pick.

This was also after Israel handed Gaza over to the Arabs, in 2005. This included all of the free, Jewish homes, which were abandoned in the process, which the Arabs proceeded to destroy, instead of taking advantage of all of the free housing in the "most crowded space on earth."

However, today, people around the world, including Jews, continue to demand that we feel sorry for the poor, poor Arabs. Even the excuses that Hamas withholds food, and uses the people has human shields no longer hold water. The Arabs in Gaza did this to themselves. We have such short memories.

So, would the Arabs of Gaza accept Dahlan as their savior? Would Hamas be willing to exploit Dahlan as its next strategy to destroy the Jewish People? Will Dahlan use his new role to exact his revenge on Hamas, and perhaps on Fatah as well?

For much of the 20th Century, up until today, the U. S. played around in Iran (Persia, but still Muslim) and in Iraq, setting them up against each other for one reason or another, mainly for access to oil, udnder the guise of "regional security," perhaps even using the safety of Israel as an excuse. It propped up the royal family of Iran, then saw that endeavor fail miserably. Will Esau [the U. S.] be fooled into trusting an Ishmaelite [a Arab/Muslim], yet again?

Furthermore, Dahlan was approached by Trump's Torah-observant son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Remember him? He was the one ho said that...

"...the whole, entire Islamic World can say the Mosque (Al-Aqsa) is safe, and any Muslim who wants to come to pray is welcome."

According to Dahlan, "Kushner promised Israel would stop attacks in Gaza." Who is Kushner to declare this? Even if Kushner was to deliver a message, then why is Dahlan revealing this publicly?

More political games as usual. And Dahlan is just another Arab opportunist with Jewish blood on his hands, either directly or indirectly.

None of this actually matters, because PLO, Fatah, Hamas. They all want the same thing. From the river to the sea.

When will Jews finally accept this?

אחרי מספר פעמים אני חוזר להזהיר שאם ישראל תעביר חוק שיאפשר עונש מוות למחבלים, הוא יופעל על ידי השמאל ועל ידי בתי המשפט כדי לזהות יהודים שיכללו בקבוצה שהיא סוג של מחבלים.

Once again, the Nations save us, when we cannot save ourselves. We have had rejection after rejection of Israel's offers of land for peace. Now we have the influence of the so-called international community causing Prime Minister Netanyahu to have second thoughts about the proposed death penalty for terrorists law.

I have repeatedly warned that if Israel passes a law allowing the death penalty for terrorists, it will be manipulated by the left, and by the courts, to identify Jews to be included in this category.

Either Internal Security Minister Ben-Gvir does not quite get it. Nor does MK Limor Son Har-Melech. Or they have confidence in the language of the proposal. For surely he knows not to trust Israel's judicial system in its current state.

I cannot emphasize enough the dangers of our current Erev Rav-controlled judicial system which will not hesitate to label a Jew a terrorist. If given the ammunition, they WILL find a way to apply the death penalty to Jews.

[Real] Settlers and Haredim (ultra-orthodox) in particular should be aware.

And one should not just be careful of the leftists, but also of the Mamlakhtim (diehard state loyalists) will this law, if passed, due to their belief in the sanctity of democracy. Even though there is no court in existence today which has the authority to sentence a Jew to death.

This is further evidence of this community's confusion over the differences between halakhah (Torah law) and the laws of the secular State of Israel.

Was Tira really the target? Tira is located in the Arab Triangle, considered the most concentrated area of "Israeli" Arab holdouts, still waiting, praying, or even actively working toward an independent Arab state within or including all of the Land of Israel.

Why on earth would Hezbollah target them?

Is it possible that neighboring Kokhav Yair was in its sights?

Of course, we cannot say that it was a miracle that no Jews were injured in this attack, as someone might get arrested.

When Iran attacked Israel last spring, the only casualties were Arabs, an three of them were in Jordan. Food for thought.

הממ... זה נראה נוח מאוד שערבים תוקפים, לא מזמן אחרי שהאקדח של יהודה שרבף הוחרם.

חוץ מזה, צה"ל לא שולח יותר חיילים לשמור על עיטם אלא שולח עוד חיילים כדי לשמור את השליטה על עיטם.

זו פעולה חוזרת של הממשלה, שרוב הממלכתים (נאמני המדינה חבל על הזמן) מסרבים להכיר בה.

ממשלת ישראל מתיחסת בכל תושב יהודה ושומרון, שאינו מקבל אליה כהסמכות העליונה בארץ ישראל, כאיום.

אני לא יודע מה ההשקפה של שרבף. אבל כנראה, כל תושב יהודה, שומרון ופעם עזה, הנאמן למדינה, יכול להיות נאמן מיותר. ואם הוא נופל אז הוא נזק נלווה.

פשוט תסתכלו לישובים שנמצאו בעזה ובצפון השומרון שנהרסו, והפכו להיות ״יודנריין״ (הגרמנית נקייה מיהודים) בשנת תשס״ה/2005. רוב היהודים בישובים אלו היו ממלכתיים. רוב תושבי יהודה ושומרון גם היו ממלכתיים, וכנראה ממשיכים בדרך זו של ממלכתיות.

יצהר וישובים קטנות ומאחזים, דומות לה בהשקפה, הן היעדים התמידיים של דיכוי על ידי הממשלה. שסמכותו של הקב"ה גדולה יותר מהמדינה, ושחוקי התורה קודמין לחוקי האדם, ואז המדינה, הם רעיונות מפריעים לממשלה מאוד.

בסביבת זמן גירוש היהודים מעזה, נשכרו חברות אבטחה פרטיות לקחת אחריות על חלק מצרכי האבטחה של ישובים ביהודה ושומרון, בעיקר משמרות שמירה בכניסה הראשית וסיורים ברחבי ההיקף. תושבים בעלי רישיון נשק וניסיון היו מוזמנים להגיש מועמדות למשרות המוצעות. אבל כל עובד לא הורשה לעבוד בישוב שלו.

טוענים שתושב הישוב לא מוכן להמנע מלעשות משהו נגד הגירוש מהישוב שלו והריסתו. הוא גם לא מוכן להמנע מלהודיע לשכניו על חשש כזה ברגע שנודע לו על .התוכנית

כמובן, לא לכולם היה רישיון נשק. הממשלה כבר החלה למצוא תירוצים לקחת רישיונות, אולי לקראת כל התנגדות לגירוש במסגרת תוכנית הגירוש של אריאל שרון.

העובדה שנוכחות יהודים, נוכחות של יהודים חמושים, מהווה הרתעה יעילה נגד הטרור הערבי, נראית כלא חשוב למטרות הסופיות של הממשלה: שליטה באמצעות פחד, ואולי יותר בסופו של דבר עוד גירוש יהודים.

יהודים כמו יהודה שרבף עומדים בדרכה.

The Jewish Press: Two Israelis Wounded in Arab Rock-Throwing Attack Near Efrat

Two Israelis were wounded late Wednesday afternoon in a Palestinian Authority Arab rock-throwing attack near the Eitam Farm of Efrat, in Gush Etzion.

Magen David Adom paramedics treated an 18-year-old male and 26-year-old Yehuda Sharbaf at the scene before taking them both to nearby Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem.

Both of the victims suffered head injuries, but medics said they were both in good condition.

Sharbaf is the manager of the farm and the Yeshiva on the Eitam.

He is also an IDF officer and spent four months fighting in Gaza at the start of the war.

This morning, according to Sharbaf, the army confiscated his IDF issued rifle without explanation. And within 12 hours he and other people from the farm were brutally attacked by Arabs.

According to a source in the municipality, the IDF is sending more soldiers to guard the Eitam.

Hmm... It does seem awfully conveniently that Arabs attack, not too long after Yehudah Sharbaf's gun was confiscated.

Besides that, the IDF is not sending more soldiers to guard Eitam; it is sending more soldiers to control Eitam.

This is yet one more pattern of the government, which most mamlakhtim (diehard State loyalists) refuse to acknowledge.

The Israeli Government considers any resident of Judea and Samaria, who does not view it as the ultimate authority in the Land of Israel, to be a threat.

I cannot say what Sharbaf's ideology is. However, any resident of Judea, Samaria, and once upon a time, Gaza, who is loyal to the State, can be collateral damage. Just look at the towns in Gaza and Northern Samaria that were destroyed, and made Judenrein (Ger. cleansed of Jews) in תשס״ה/2005. Most of the Jews in these towns were mamlakhtim. Most residents of Judea and Samaria were as well, and probably still are.

Yitzhar and like-minded, smaller Jewish towns, are the perpetual targets of government oppression. Like-minded as in The Almighty's authority is greater than the State, His Torah having higher authority than the laws of the Israeli government.

Around the time of the expulsion of Jews from Gaza, private security firms were hired to take responsibility for some of the security needs of Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria, mainly guarding the main entrance and making patrols around the perimeter. Residents with a gun license and experience were welcome to apply for the jobs offered. However, any employee was not permitted to work in his own town.

The theory is that a resident would not stand by and see his town evacuated, and then destroyed. He would also not hesitate to inform his neighbors once he learned of this plan.

Of course, not everyone had a gun licenses. The government had already begun making excuses to take away licenses, perhaps in anticipation of any resistance against being expelled under Ariel Sharon's Disengagement Expulsion Plan.

The fact that the presence of Jews, the presence of armed Jews, is an effective deterent against Arab terror, appears to be irrelevant to the Israeli Government's ultimate objectives: Control through fear, and quite possibly more eventual expulsions of Jews.

Jews like Yehudah Sharbaf stand in its way.

May Yehudah and all other Jews hurt in the attack heal completely and speedily!

עדיין קשה לי מאוד להנבין איך יכולים להאשים את ישראל בניסיון רצח עם. לא רק ישראל מכוונת רק לחלק של עם מזויף, שהוא רק חלק קטן מהאוכלוסייה הערבית הגדולה, וסוף סוף מנסה לחסל ארגון טרור שתוקף אותנו מאז 1987, הנולד מהאחים המוסלמים. חמאס ממשיך לשמור על השמדת ישראל באמנה שלו, כלומר חמאס מנסה רצח עם [ישראל], ולא להיפך.

אני מניח שאנשים רואים את מה שהם רוצים לראות, שומעים את מה שהם רוצים לשמוע, וקוראים את מה שהם רוצים לקרוא. או ליתר דיוק, הם עברו שטיפת מוח על ידי מנהיגי המערב, שאפילו לא אכפת להם מהערבים קל וחומר הפלסטינאים כביכול. הם פשוט מנצלים אותם למטרת שליטה עולמית משלהם, במילה שלהם גלובליזציה.

אין למילה ״חופצה״ מספיק כוח לתאר את האופי של מזכ"ל האו"ם אנטוניו גוטרס. שוב פעם הוא מראה לכל העולם שהוא שונא את ישראל.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres sent an urgent letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during Rosh Hashana expressing his deep concern about legislation in the Knesset targeting UNRWA. He warned that if the legislation passes, UNRWA will be unable to continue operating and would then need to raise the issue at the UN General Assembly.

The bill, which severs Israel's ties with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA), is expected to be approved on Sunday by the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. (cont.)

UNRWA was meant to operate for only two years, providing assistance to 199,000 Arab refugees in the Gaza Strip from the War of Independence and about 500,000 additional individuals registered as war refugees.

My compliments to the Prime Minister, government ministers, and other Members of Knesset who refuse to allow the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East [UNRWA] continue to operate for the eventual destruction of Israel, and the Jewish People.

I am still unable to fathom how Israel is accused of attempted genocide. Not only is Israel is only targeting a segment of a made-up people, who are just one segment of the greater Arab population, finally attempting to wipe out a terrorist organization which had been attacking us since 1987, arising from the Muslim Brotherhood, but Hamas continues to maintain Israel's destruction in its charter. In other words, it is Hamas which is attempting genocide, and not the other way around.

I suppose that people see what they want to see, hear what they want to hear, and read what they want to read. Or rather they have drunk the Kool-aid served up by Western leaders, who do not even care about Arabs. They are only exploiting them for their own objective of world domination, ie. globalization.

A word hutzpah (gall) does not have enough power to describe the character of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. Once again he shows the whole world that he hates Israel.

UNRWA is complicit in the actions of Hamas and the murder of Jews. And Guterres worries about its continued existence?

Esau hates Israel. How many times do I have to remind you? And this situation will not change soon.

נעשוב את מה היא טוענת שהיא מתחייבת לעשות. בואו נדבר עללדאג אמהוף, בעלה של סגן הנשיא של ארה״ב, והמועמד של מפלגת הדמוקרטים לנשיאותה, קמאלה האריס, יש הרבה חוצפה. אבל האמת היא שכנראה יש לו דין של תינוק שנשבה, כמו הרבה יהודים החיים היום, מנותק לגמרי מכל דבר באמת יהודי. דגש על המילה "באמת״.

אין ספק שרוב היהודים, מי שמצליח למצוא את הכתבה הזו היה חושב שהיא מאוד מתנשאת. דגש על המילה "מתנשאת".

בתלמוד, תינוק שנשבה לבין הגויים הוא אדם יהודי, שכאשר היה תינוק - נפל בשבי, וגדל אצל הגויים. משום כך הוא לא למד תורה, אינו יודע את ההלכה, ואף אינו יודע את עיקרי האמונה היהודית. לכן, כאשר הוא עובר עבירות, הוא נחשב לאנוס או שוגג, ולא מזיד.

בהלכה המאוחרת יותר, הביטוי תינוק שנשבה מציין כל יהודי אשר – מסיבות שאינן תלויות בו – לא למד תורה מילדותו. החל מן המאה ה-19, עשו פוסקי ההלכה שימוש במושג כדי להתמודד עם מעמדם ההלכתי של חילונים שמקטנותם לא התחנכו לתורה ולמצוות.

יש פוסקים האומרים שאין לתינוק שנשבה אשמים בחטאיו. עם זאת, אסור לנו לעמוד בחיבוק ידיים שנ׳ ״לא תעמוד על דם רעך״, ולאפשר להם להמשיך לפגוע בעם ישראל, אפילו אם אין להם כוונה לעשות כך.

הוא מזדעזע? מה עם אשתו? האם היא מזדעזעת? מה לגבי אשמתו של ממשל ביידן-האריס? כלי נשק שלא הועברו לישראל, לחץ שהופעל על ממשלת ישראל להגן על "אזרחים חפים מפשע", שבסופו ל דבר גילו שאינם חפים מפשע כלל, ביידן אמר כי לתומכי חמאס מחוץ לאמנה הדמוקרטית "יש טעם", כל מדיניות שעודדה את איראן, הן בתמיכתה בארגוני הטרור חמאס וחיזבאללה, והן בהתקפותיה הישירות על ישראל והאיומים בהתקפות עתידיות. לומר שהממשל האמריקאי הנוכחי מחבל בביטחונה של ישראל ובעצם קיומה התבטאות המפחיתה מחומרת הדבר.

מה אמהוף עשה כדי להגן על זכותה של ישראל להגן על עצמה? זורקים את המילים הנכונות מהפה שלו, ואז מוסיפים "אבל"? האם הגנה על מדינת היהודים לא צריכה להיות אחד הראשונים ברשימת עדיפות של איש הקשר של ביידן לקהילה היהודית? כנראה הוא יותר דומה למשווק של הממשל לקהילה היהודית.

האמת היא שהמצב יותר גרוע ממה שאתם חשבתם. ללחוץ כאן כדי להכיר את היועץ לביטחון לאומי של האריס, פיליפ גורדון.

אני לא כועס על אמהוף. האמת היא שהוא לא מבין את מה שהוא עושה כמו שצריך. אני כועס על המצב שהדמוקרטים בחרו ביהודי שגדל בקהילה "רפורמית", ועל פי העיתון ״הפורוורד היהודי״, אמהוף התחתן עם גויה והתעניין ביהדות מאוחר יותר בחייו, יצר קשר מיני עם אשה חוץ לנישואין שלו, ואז התחתן עם גויה אחרת.

לצערינו, יש הרבה יהודים בארה״ב עם אותו סיפור חיים של אמהוף. אבל למה לבחור באדם כזה להיות איש הקשר הממשל לקהילת היהודים? אולי הם פשוט היו צריכים לתת לו עבודה, כמו שנותנים לכל בנות בני זוג של סגני הנשים בעבר.

בצד השני, אולי הרעיון של מינוי אמהוף לקהילה היהודית במינהלת ביידן כן מתאים באמת. לכמה יהודים שמצביעים לביידן האריס יש קשר ליהדות אמיתית מאשר אמהוף? כמה "יהודים" שמצביעים להריס הם באמת יהודים בכלל? אז אולי אמהוף רק הנציג שהאנשים האלה יכולים להתייחס אליו.

עם ישראל נמצא בשפל רוחני ביותר בהיסטוריה שלנו. אמרתי את זה בעבר, ואני אגיד את זה שוב. בסופו של דבר יהודים בארה"ב יצטרכו להחליט על זהותם. הם יהודים או אמריקאים. וכן אפילו הדתיים המודרניים ותומכי דונלד טראמפ יצטרכו להחליט.

נראה שלהרבה מאוד יהודים כבר החליט את זה, כולל אלה שהם יהודים אמיתיים ולא רק מזדהים כיהודים. לצערינו, היהודים האלה לא החליטו טוב, ועדיף שנשארים במצב של התלבטות.

וכך, אני מגיב לשאלה האם אני מאמין שדאג אמהוף הוא היהודי המשפיע ביותר של השנה.

ובכן, זה תלוי למה אתה מתכוון במשפיע, זה תלוי למה אתה מתכוון ביהודי*, ותלוי על מי בדיוק הוא משפיע, ולמען איזה מטרה.

Doug Emhoff, the husband of the Vice-President of the United States, and candidate for President of the same, Kamala Harris, has got a lot of hutzpah (nerve, gall). But the truth is that he probably just a tinoq shenisha, like so many other Jews living today, complete disconnected from anything authentically Jewish. Emphasis on the word "authentically.

No doubt, most Jews, those who bother find this piece, will feel that it is very condescending. Emphasis on the word "condescending."

Tinoq shenishba (Hebrew: תִּינוֹק שֶׁנִשְׁבָּה, romanized: tinoq šenišbā, lit. 'captured infant') is a term that refers to a Jew who sins as a result of having been raised without sufficient knowledge and understanding of Judaism. The term originates from a theoretical discussion in the Talmud regarding a Jew who was kidnapped by Gentiles as an infant and therefore sinned inadvertently for lack of halakhic (Torah) knowledge. In contemporary Orthodox Judaism, its status is widely applied to unaffiliated Jews or Jews educated in modern Jewish denominations.

Tinoq shenishba is short for Tinoq shenishba bein hanochrim, which translates as, "An infant captured [and consequently raised] among gentiles." This is a case where the individual in question is not responsible for his actions and sins due to his being raised in a place or situation where the Jewish law is unknown to him. An individual doesn't have to have been "captured" as an infant to fall within the definition of a tinok shenishba but rather, even if the child were raised without religious guidance it would be considered tinoq shenishba.

There are authorities who have suggested that such Jews are not culpable for their sins. However, we may not stand idly by, and allow them to continue the damage they do to the People of Israel, presumably unintentionally.

He feels gutted? What about his wife? Does she feel gutted? What about the Biden-Harris administration's culpability? Weapons which were not transferred, pressure put on the Israeli Government to protect "innocent civilians," who, as it turns out are not at all innocent, Biden saying that Hamas supporters outside of the Democratic Convention "have a point," all of the policies which have emboldened Iran, both in its support for the Hamas and Hezbollah terrorist organizations, and its direct attacks on Israel, and threats of future attacks. To say that the current U. S. administration has been sabotaging Israel's safety and very existence would be an understatement.

What has Emhoff done to defend Israel's right to defend itself? Throwing out the correct words, and then adding a "but?" Wouldn't defending the Jewish State be on the agenda of Biden's liaison to the Jewish Community? (cringe, sigh) If anything he has been more like the administration's sales representative to the Jewish Community.

I am not so much angry at Emhoff. Let's face it. He doesn't know any better. I am angry that the Democrats may not have made a mistake in their choice of a Jew who grew up "Reform," according to the Jewish Forward, married a non-Jew and became interested in Judaism later in life, stepped out on his wife, then married another non-Jew.

Unfortunately, this an all too common scenario, Emhoff's life story. But to choose such a man to be the liaison? Maybe they just needed to give him a job, like they have done with Second Ladies Spouses in the past.

On second thought, maybe the idea of Emhoff liaison to the Jewish Community in the Biden Administration really was appropriate. After all, how many Jewish voters for Biden Harris this time around are anymore connected to Judaism than Emhoff? How many "Jewish" voters for Harris are even Jewish? So maybe he is just the representative these people can relate to.

We are at a very low point spiritually in our history. I have said it before, and I will say it again. Jews in the U. S. will have to make up their minds about being Jewish or American. Oh, and that includes the Modern Orthodox and that includes Jewish Trump supporters.

It seems that a great many Jews already have, including those who are actually Jewish. Unfortunately, they  did not make the correct choice, and would have been better off staying on the fence.

Only today, I saw this.

Does Klein really believe what he is writing?

Many years ago, prominent liberal Jewish religious leader Daniel Kamesar was asked (rather insistently) – but, do you believe that God gave the Torah to Moshe on Mount Sinai? To which Daniel [Kamesar] responded “Well, it depends what you mean by God, it depends what you mean by gave, it depends what you mean by Torah, it depends what you mean by Moshe, and it depends what you mean by Mount Sinai, but YES, absolutely!”

And so, I respond in kind with my answer to the question whether I believe that Doug Emhoff is the most influential Jew of the year.

Well, it depends on what you mean by influential, it depends on what you mean by Jewish*, and it depends on who exactly he is influencing, and to what end.

In other words, my answer is a resounding no.

*Not questioning Emhoff's status as a Jew, rather questioning whether the concepts which he professes are Jewish or not, and needless to say, whether they are Zionist or not.

עשר אגורות (2¢):
שימו לב כיצד ה-IRAC, מחלקת ילוץ של התנועה הרפורמית בישראל, מצטטת בגאווה את משנה תורה של הרמב"ם, ואז מתעלמת מההלכה בהמשך. האם זה מכווין שזה סותר את מה שהם רוצים שהרמב"ם היה אומר?

שוב, התנועה הרפורמית מוכיחה שהיא מונחית על ידי רגשותיה, כמו עשיו אחיו של יעקב, ולא מונחית על ידי התורה האמיתית, כמו יעקב אבינו. מה שחשוב להם הוא מה שהם אוהבים, מה שטעים להם, ומה שבאופנה. מבחינתם תורה אותנטית לעזאזל! (חו״ח)

התנועה הרפורמית היא הדוגמה המובהקת של יהודים תקועים בגלות המערבית, הולכים לפי הלב והעינים, ואפילו משכנעים את עצמם ואת חסידיה המוטעים שזו תורה!

כמו הם מסלפים את דברי הרמב"ם, כך הם מסלפים פסוקי התורה.

צֶדֶק צֶדֶק, תִּרְדֹּף--לְמַעַן תִּחְיֶה וְיָרַשְׁתָּ אֶת-הָאָרֶץ, אֲשֶׁר-יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לָךְ. (דברים טז,כ)

הם מתעלמים את הקשר בין רדיפת צדק לבין ירושת ארץ ישראל ומגורים בה. הם מעדיפים להתמקד בחיתוך ארץ מורשתנו, ולמסור אותה.

לֹא-תִקֹּם וְלֹא-תִטֹּר אֶת-בְּנֵי עַמֶּךָ, וְאָהַבְתָּ לְרֵעֲךָ כָּמוֹךָ: אֲנִי, יְהוָה. (ויקרא יט,יח)

הם מתעלמים מהעניין שפירוש "רעך" הוא מישראל כלומר יהודים.

ברור שלתנועה הרפורמית אין עניין בהלכה. הם לא מקבלים את סמכות התורה שבעל פה.

עודה פעם אני מזכיר לכם על המשל של מהר"ם מרוטנברג. אולי ההיגיון שלו יכול להשפיע להם ולשמאלנים בכלל.

בשנת ה'מ"ו 1286 נכלא המהר"ם על ידי השלטונות במבצר אנזיסהיים (Ensisheim) לאחר שניסה לעלות לארץ ישראל. הקיסר הגרמני דרש סכום כופר עצום כדי לשחררו. על פי המסורת המקובלת, סירב המהר"ם שהקהילה היהודית תפדהו תמורת סכום שכזה מחשש לתקדים שיביא למאסרים ולדרישות כופר דומות נוספות, בסופו של דבר נפטר המהר"ם בכלאו.

אותה דוגמה הועלתה כדי להתנגד לפדיון גלעד שליט בתמורה ל-1,207 אסירים, מכיוון שהמחיר היה גבוה מדי.

אבל העסקה לשחרור גלעד שליט הייתה גרועה ממה שחשבנו. יחיא סינוואר היה אחד מאלה ששוחררו בעסקה.

״את שבעת "האסים" של עסקת שליט אפשר לחלק לשתי קבוצות. הראשונה שבהן היא "חבורת עזה" שכוללת את יחיא סינוואר״ (YNET, 28.09.2021) בגרסה באנגלית של ויקיפדיה כתוב שאחיו של סינוואר הוא תיכנן את החטופה של גלעד שליט.

איך היה המצב הנוכחי שלנו, אם היינו עושים כדוגמת מהר"ם מרוטנברג, ולא היינו משלמים מחיר כזה על גלעד שליט?

כן. אני יודע. אני גם שמח ששליט חזר אלינו. אני לא יכול להסתכל בעיניים של ההורי בני ערובה בידי חמאס ולהגיד להם לוותר על ילדיהם למען כלל ישראל. אבל זו רק דוגמה לכך שאפילו גם הראש לי עדיין תקוע במידה מסוימת בגלוט המערבית שלנו.

זה לא משנה את ההלכה. זה לא משנה את התורה, כפי שהתנועה הרפורמית רוצה להאמין.

Mishneh Torah, Laws of Gifts to the Poor, Ch. 8
10 The redemption of captives receives priority over sustaining the poor and providing them with clothing. [Indeed,] there is no greater mitzvah (Torah commandment) than the redemption of captives. For a captive is among those who are hungry, thirsty, and unclothed and he is in mortal peril. If someone pays no attention to his redemption, he violates the negative commandments: "Do not harden your heart or close your hand" (Deut. 15:7), "Do not stand by when the blood of your neighbor is in danger" (Lev. 19:16), and "He shall not oppress him with exhausting work in your presence" (ibid. 25:53). And he has negated the observance of the positive commandments: "You shall certainly open up your hand to him" (Deut. 15:8), "And your brother shall live with you" (ibid. 19:18), "Love your neighbor as yourself" (Lev. 19:18), "Save those who are taken for death" (Prov. 24:11), and many other decrees of this nature. There is no mitzvah as great as the redemption of captives.

11 When the inhabitants of a city collected money for building a synagogue and a purpose associated with a mitzvah arose, they may use the money for that purpose. If they purchased stones and beams, they should not sell them [and use the proceeds] for a purpose associated with a mitzvah other than the redemption of captives. Even though they brought the stones [to the building site], cut the beams and shaped them to size, and prepared everything for building, it should all be sold, [but] only for the sake of redeeming captives. If they built [the synagogue] and completed it, it should not be sold. Instead, the funds necessary to redeem the captives should be raised from the community.

12 We do not redeem captives for more than their worth for the benefit of the world at large (Mishnah Gittin 4:6), i.e., so that enemies will not pursue people to hold them captive. We do not assist captives in escaping, for the benefit of the world at large, i.e., so that enemies will not oppress captives seriously and be very strict when guarding them.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Notice how the IRAC, the advocacy arm of the Reform Movement in Israel, proudly cites the Rambam's (Maimonides) Mishneh Torah, but then conveniently ignores the his elaboration of the halakhah (Torah Law) two paragraphs later? Could this be because it contradicts what they want the Rambam to be saying?

Yet again, the Reform Movement demonstrates that it is guided by its feeings, like Jacob's brother Esau, instead of being guided by actual Torah, like Jacob himself. What they like, what is palatable, and what is politically-correct is what matters to them. Authentic Torah be damned!

וְלֹא-תָתוּרוּ אַחֲרֵי לְבַבְכֶם, וְאַחֲרֵי עֵינֵיכֶם, אֲשֶׁר-אַתֶּם זֹנִים, אַחֲרֵיהֶם. (במדבר טו,לט)

...and that you go not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you use to go astray. (Num. 15:39)

The Reform Movement is the quintessential example of Jews stuck in a Western galuth (exile) mentality, following its heart and its eyes, even convincing themselves and its misguided followers that is Torah!

Like their manipulation of the Rambam, they have done the same with verses directly from the Torah.

צֶדֶק צֶדֶק, תִּרְדֹּף--לְמַעַן תִּחְיֶה וְיָרַשְׁתָּ אֶת-הָאָרֶץ, אֲשֶׁר-יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לָךְ. (דברים טז,כ)

Justice, justice shall you pursue, that you may live, and inherit the land which the Lord thy God gives you. (Deut. 16:20)

They conveniently leave out the direct connection between the pursuit of justice an residing in the Land of Israel. They leave out that this, of course, refers to true Torah justice, and not their distorted version of it. Instead, they prefer to focus on chopping up our Land, and giving it away.

לֹא-תִקֹּם וְלֹא-תִטֹּר אֶת-בְּנֵי עַמֶּךָ, וְאָהַבְתָּ לְרֵעֲךָ כָּמוֹךָ: אֲנִי, יְהוָה. (ויקרא יט,יח)

You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord. (Lev. 19:18)

They conveniently leave out that "neighbor" refers to Jews.

Clearly the Reform Movement has no interest in halakhah. How could they? They reject the authority of the Oral Torah. 

For the umteenth time, I will cite the example of Maharam of Rottenberg. Perhaps the logic he uses will knock some sense into them, and Leftists in general.

In 1286, Rabbi Meir bar Barukh of Rothenberg, also known as Maharam of Rottenberg, was captured in the mountains of Lombardy, having been recognized by a baptized Jew named Kneppe, and imprisoned in a fortress near Ensisheim in Alsace. Tradition has it that a large ransom of 23,000 marks silver was raised for him by Asher ben Yehiel, but Rabbi Meir refused it for fear of encouraging the imprisonment of other rabbis. He ruled on his own abduction in light of Talmudic law.  The captives are not redeemed for more than their actual monetary value, for the betterment of the world; (Mishnah Gittin 4:6) Rabbi Meir died in prison after seven years.

This same example was brought up to oppose the redemption of Gilad Shalit in exchange for 1,207 prisoners, as the price was believed to be too high.

But the the deal to release Gilad Shalit was worse than we thought. Yahya Sinwar was one of those released in the deal.

Yahya Sinwar (4 life sentences) – took part in the kidnapping of two Israeli soldiers in 1989 and was sentenced to life in prison. Founder of the Hamas security apparatus in Gaza. His brother organized the abduction of Gilad Shalit in 2006.

Bitton spent years working as a dentist in Israel’s Nafha Prison. It was there he met “the person” – Yahya Sinwar, a Hamas militant convicted of murder who would go on to become the group’s leader in Gaza – saying he saved his life by helping diagnose a brain tumor.

Just think about what our current situation would be like, if Yahya Sinwar had not been saved, or if he had not been released.

Just think about what our current situation would be like, if we had followed the example of Maharan of Rottenberg, and not had paid such a price for Gilad Shalit.

Yes. I know. I am glad he is back, too. I could not possibly look parents of those currently being held by Hamas in the eye and tell them to sacrafice their children. But this is just an example of how even I am still stuck to a degree in our Western Galuth mentality.

It does not change the halakhah. It does not change the Torah, as the Reform Movement might have you believe.
