Rep. Ilhan Omar is Both Right and Wrong (American Jews will not like the answer.)

ערב שבת קודש פר׳ ויקהל תשע״ט
FoxNews.com: Conservative critics accuse Ilhan Omar of new anti-Semitic attack, this time focusing on 'dual loyalties'

Gregg Re, March 1, 2019

Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar, whose previous comments on Israel were condemned as anti-Semitic just weeks ago by senior members of her own party, is again under fire for suggesting Wednesday night that some politicians in Washington are "pushing for allegiance" to Israel.

Michigan Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who was seated next to Omar during her comments, made a similar remark in January, writing on Twitter that Senate Republicans were more loyal to Israel than their own country. The accusation that Jewish politicians could be vulnerable to having "dual loyalties" has been made for centuries in various contexts, and has been seen widely as a religious-based attack intent on undermining their leadership.

“I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is OK for people to push for allegiance to a foreign country," Omar said to applause. "I want to ask why is it OK for me to talk about the influence of the NRA, of fossil fuel industries, or big pharma, and not talk about a powerful lobbying movement that is influencing policy..."

..."When I see Israel institute laws that recognize it as a Jewish state and does not recognize the other religions that are living in it, and we still uphold it as a democracy in the Middle East I almost chuckle because I know that if we see that any other society we would criticize it, call it out," she said. "We do that to Iran, we do that to any other place that sort of upholds its religion. And I see that now happening with Saudi Arabia and so I am aggravated, truly, in those contradictions."
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is wrong in so many ways, but also right in a few. But, Jews particularly in the U. S. will not like the reasons I give as to why she is both right and wrong.

Rep. Omar is, of course, wrong when she refers to the Land of Israel as "Palestine." The fact that there is not such thing as "Palestine," save for a fictional entity created by the Romans, and later picked up by the Jew-oppressing British. This should be a no-brainer for the so-called "Zionists" out there. Key word: should.

The fact that shortly after Israel's Parliamentary elections in April, President Trump will sen his Religious Zionist son-in-law to force his "plan" down our throats, give Land away to Arab terrorists and call it a state, does not make "Palestine" a real concept.

Rep. Omar is wrong that Israel is a foreign country to Jews. Israel is the only country for Jews.  Rep. Omar is actually right that Jews are being encouraged to have dual loyalties,... sort of. Jews are being encouraged by groups like the American Israel Public Affairs Committee [AIPAC] to support the U. S. and a Jewish "democratic" State of Israel.

Nowhere in the Torah, and that includes the Oral Torah, is there mention of democracy. Of course, that is because this is a Greek, ie. Hellenist, concept. But what do groups like AIPAC care about Torah?

Nothing.

Of course, the Torah also talks about how the Land of Israel belongs to the People of Israel,...exclusively. But, rather than take pride in the fact that like every other group on the planet, we now have our ancestral homeland back, and in our case, Divinely-promised homeland, American Jews and left-wing, Jewish organizations like AIPAC (Yes. I call AIPAC left-wing. Most all of them are left-wing) have to apologize and reinterpret the Jewish Nationality Law.

Rep. Omar has a point about the Nationality Law. She mentions Saudi Arabia and Iran, and how the U. S. government is critical of their [nationalistic?] approaches. I wonder if she believes that Muslim countries are allow to take such an approach, but Israel is not, or if she is a globalist and does not believe that any country is allowed this approach.

In any event, Rep. Omar is wrong about Israel not recognizing other religions. Other laws have done that. Israel recognizes religious minorities, including Druze, Christians in their countless denominational incarnations, Muslims, not to mention various ethnic groups such as the Circassians who were planted here during Ottoman rule. I wish Rep. Omar was right on this point, but she's not. We're just too co-dependent on love and existential validation from non-Jews.

I really cannot understand these armchair Zionists, who defend Israel, throw money at it, and even send their kids to visit Israel on summer and post-high school programs. But, they themselves would never actually pick up and immigrate.

PLO
Sure. Some of them intend to immigrate when they retire, or when their children graduate high school, or university, or when their grandchildren accomplish this or that. The list of excuses never never seems to end.

And, still many of these actually support giving up land to the very Arabs who want to wipe us out, then have the audacity to call that Zionism! C'mon, Jews! Look at the Arab terrorist organizations' dream maps of "Palestine" embedded in their emblems. They do not just include Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria), and that includes all of Jerusalem, in case you didn't know. They do not just want Haifa and Be'er Sheva. You knew that they wanted Haifa and Be'er Sheva, right? They want Tel-Aviv!

Fata"h
Residents of Tel-Aviv are considered to be just as much "settlers" as those residing in Hevron and Beth-El.

The U. S., and every other country outside of the Land of Israel, serves only as a temporary residence, until it is possible to return to where we belong, to the Land Divinely-promised to us.

Now that it is possible to return, we have no excuses.

Hamas
It is very disturbing indeed when I hear some so-called Zionist, Modern Orthodox in the U. S. citing a Satmar or Neturei Karta approach (whether they know it or not), that we should wait until Mashi'ah comes. Then he will take care of all of our problems, and whisk us away on "wings of eagles."

However, those eagles already exist. The Almighty granted knowledge and wisdom to us in order to build them, and they are called... airplanes.

The same very disturbing feelings come up for me when I hear all those "Religious Zionists" already here in Israel insist that we cannot bring the Passover offering to the Temple Mount, let alone start rebuilding the Temple. Religious Zionism is supposed to be about being an active part of the Ge'ulah (Redemption) process, not the application of a perspective which has little to no evidence of its existence before 500 years ago. My guess is that it began to develop due to the unending, and ever increasing oppression and desperation of Jews.

Hey, there are quite afew Satmar Hassidim and Neturei Karta living in the Land of Israel.

What's your excuse?

Want to stand your ground in the face of Americans like Rep. Ilhan Omar? Don't want to look like you're letting the Jew-haters win by running away to Israel?

Well, as long as you believe that, you are letting them win, by not standing up proud as a Jew, and coming to invest your life, and not just your money, in the only true Jewish Homeland, the Land of Israel.

שום דבר בארץ ישתנה ע״י הממשלה / Nothing in Israel will Change with this Government

ט׳ לחודש העשירי תשע״ט
English follows the Hebrew.

Several Jews were injured at the entrance to the town of Ofra. And a baby was murdered in utero, surviving only briefly after an emergency deliver.

Two soldiers were killed by gunfire at the Assaf Junction between Ofra and Beit El. Two additional soldiers were seriously injured. Another young fighter was from Beit El.

A terrorist tried to run over two more soldiers near Beit El itself.

Another terrorist tried to kill two more soldiers in the Old City of Jerusalem. (Srugim)

Jews, both in Israel and abroad, express their usual shock? Angry, upset, sad, and protesting, sure. But why are they surprised? Who voted for and elected this government?

We did.

The so-called "right-wing" prime minister declares that his current strategy to deal with terror and to protect us will succeed.

How many times has he said the same thing to us? How many times has he said the same thing did former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon tell us the same thing?

Needless to say, all of the leftist prime ministers before them also told us the same thing,...many times.

So you still think the situation in Israel will change by the Israeli Government?

Do you still think that politicians actually care about their Jewish constituents?

Do you still think that Israeli Governmental officials are not overly concerned over what the goyim think?

Do you still think that Israeli prime ministers are calling the shots, and not beholden to their foreign sources of funds?

If you answered, "Yes" to these questions, then I wish you good luck.

Three Jews Shot Near Beth-El: Same Old Response from the Government

כ"א לחודש האחד עשר תשע"ו
YNET: Three wounded in shooting attack next to Beit El
Terrorist, a member of the Palestinian security services, arrives at checkpoint, exits car, and opens fire with a handgun, wounding two moderately-to-seriously and one lightly; he was shot and killed.
Elisha Ben Kimon, Yoav Zitun, Elior Levy,  01.31.16
Three Israelis were wounded in a shooting attack on Sunday morning at a checkpoint south of the settlement of Beit El in the Samaria region of the West Bank.
The terrorist, who arrived at the checkpoint by car from the direction of Ramallah, was shot dead by IDF troops at the checkpoint. He was using a handgun to commit the attack.
One of the wounded, 21 years old, was taken to the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem's Ein Karem in serious condition with a gunshot wound to his neck. His condition was later updated to moderate.

Another, 31, in serious condition, was taken to the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem's Mount Scopus with gunshot wounds to his stomach and extremities. The third, 20, was also taken to Hadassah in light condition after being hit in his extremities. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Shimon Peres
This attack reminds of previously shooting attacks, in which former Prime Minister Yitzhaq Rabin was blamed for having given weapons to the Palestinian Authority's [PA] police force.

In response, Shimon Peres has responded that the attacks were not carried out by the guns the State of Israel provided them, but rather with different guns.

Seriously?

Here is a video of one such accusation, from the heroic Jew who neutralized the Arab who shot and killed seven high school, and one post-high school, students at the Merkaz HaRav Kook Yeshiva, eight years ago on 30 Shevat (March 6, 2008). By the way, this Arab terrorist, was also employed by one of the yeshiva's suppliers. Actually, this accusation was waged against Shimon Peres himself.

No doubt that the Government's spin doctors will insist that the was fluke occurrence or a "lone wolf" attack. Even though...
...A-Sukari is not the first member of the Palestinian security services to commit an attack - Mazen Aribah of Abu Dis, an officer in the Palestinian security services, moderately wounded an Israeli civilian and lightly wounded a soldier in a shooting attack near the Hizma checkpoint outside of Jerusalem.
A third Palestinian security officer opened fire at an IDF force near Silwad, but did not hit the troops. He was caught and under arrest in Israel.
Or someone will say that this was an attack motivated by reasons other than ideological ones...
A source who knew the a-Sukari told Ynet that reason for the attack was the terrorist's serious financial problems. According to the source, a-Sukari was in serious debt to several different people, and was only making NIS 2,200 at his job.
Even though in the terrorist's own words, posted on Facebook, he wrote...
"A morning of victory. There is no god but God and Muhammad is the prophet of Allah. There is nothing worth living for on this land. Unfortunately I don't see anything worth living for as long as the occupation makes our souls disappear and kills our brothers and sisters. Have mercy on our martyrs, heal our wounds and release our prisoners. You came first and we, Allah willing, are following in your footsteps."
Meanwhile, exactly what is the Israeli Government doing to combat the belief that Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria) belong to anyone other that the Jewish People?

Hemming and hawing, and employing the use of various games of words and rhetoric.

But, don't despair! Minister of Education Naftali Bennett has a "plan," to further confuse the issue!

Sorry, but you can have this...

Or this (God forbid!)...

Synagogue to be Destroyed with a Message to Efrat Residents

כ״ו לחודש החמישי תשע״ה

Yet another Jewish structure is slated for demolition, due to a claim by an Arab that the land it was built on is his.

Jews have documents proving the land's purchase, 20 years ago. Apparently, that is not important to the Israeli courts.

Did I mention that this structure is a synagogue? Israeli courts are in the business of destroying synagogues.

Why does this not surprise me?
Arutz 7: Givat Ze'ev Synagogue Evacuated, Worshipers in Tears
Security forces begin to remove equipment from the synagogue in Givat Ze'ev ahead of its planned demolition.
Eliran Aharon, 8/10/2015
Civil Administration forces on Sunday night began to evacuate the synagogue Ayelet HaShahar synagogue in the town of Givat Ze'ev.

The Supreme Court earlier on Sunday postponed the demolition of the synagogue until August 17, following the intervention of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. While the demolition will be held off until that date, all the equipment in the synagogue will be removed for the time being.

On Monday, the worshipers will hold a special ceremony, following which the Torah scrolls will be removed from the synagogue.

The synagogue, which has been in use for over 20 years, was slated to be demolished after a far-left group filed a petition with the Court, claiming that the structure had been build on privately-owned Palestinian Arab land.
The petition had been working its way through the courts for at least three years. Members of the congregation have offered the land's alleged owners a high price for the purchase or rental of the land, but they, and their lawyers, have insisted that the synagogue be torn down. It is not clear why the Palestinian claimants waited some two decades to make their claims, the congregants said.

The heads of the congregation are in possession of documents showing that they bought the land from its owners, which is the reason that the court has not yet finalized its decision, their attorneys said. The congregation's attorneys are hoping to make one final appeal to prevent the demolition.
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Over 10 years ago, I remember "Yael," resident of Efrat, and at the time, member of Women In Green, tell Elisheva Federman, resident and activist from Hevron, that she knew that Efrat would never be evacuated, but that if Hevron needed to be evacuated for the sake of peace, then she would understand.

Shortly after this televised panel discussion, "Yael" parted ways with Women In Green.

Residents of Efrat, believe that their town is safe, as the well-behaved, suburban jewel, of the "settler movement," and Israeli Government itself.

Speaking of Efrat, former Gush Etzion mayor Shaul Goldstein moved to Azza 10 years ago, in alleged "solidarity" with those slated for expulsion from their homes. The YeSh"A (Judea, Samaria, and Gaza) Council collaborated with the Israeli Government in the expulsion of Jews from Azza.

Adding insult to injury, on that fateful day of the expulsion of Jews from Azza, Mayor Goldstein faked his own expulsion from his temporary home for the cameras.

Tomer Devorah also remembers similar incidents, of so-called "settlers" turning against each other, some of whom are the same "settlers" who tell us not to show "baseless hatred" toward Arabs. Like their "rabbis," they obviously ignorant of halakhah (Torah Law) on several levels.

Ten years ago, a friend of mine produced a T-Shirt with the phrase...

Tel-Aviv is a settlement.

...while in Tel-Aviv is is possible to see the graffiti, "The Settler is not my brother!" all over town.

Last year's Hamas rockets did not wake them up to the realities of being Jews. Now, it is clear that Hezbollah's missiles have the capability of reaching Tel-Aviv.

Neither have the thefts, assaults and rapes at the hands of Sudanese and Eritrean insurgents in the city's southern neighborhoods.

Aftermath of the destruction of the Tapu'ah West Synagogue.
The destruction was carried out with IDF Rabbinate approval.
Not a whole lot of "settlers" expressed concern when the Tapu'ah West Synagogue  was destroyed in 2003. Even though the land upon which it was built had been in Jewish hands for years, and with the approval of Prime Minister Ehud Baraq, 10 years previously.

Beth-El Ulpana Neighborhood apartment buildings, standing 13 years, before being destroyed.
Remember the Beit Ulpanah Neighborhood in Beth-El? It actually stood for 13 years, before the land upon which it stood was claimed, and the the neighborhood subsequently destroyed.

Quite a few Beth-El residents even joined in the expulsion of their own neighbors from this complex.

Now, we hear about a synagogue in Givat Ze'ev. Givat Ze'ev is a town just north of Jerusalem, with a population of around 15,000. Like Beitar, Ariel, Ma'aleh Adumim, Qedumim, Qiriyath Sefer, and Efrat, Givat Ze'ev is one of those towns in the medium to large range, which no one believes would ever be dismantled and expelled of its Jews, as it is within the "settlement blocks," the Israeli Government has stated that it intends to keep, even it hands over anymore lands at all to the Arabs in a final settlement agreement.

So-called "settlement blocks" viewed as "keepers" by the Israeli Government
Do you see the pattern that I see?

It seems that the Israeli Supreme Court is hellbent on ridding Yehudah and Shomron of every Jew, and handing the land over to Arabs who lay claim to it years after the fact, and often encouraged to do so by leftist "Jews."

Lucky for Tel-Aviv, though, I have yet to see any claims lodged against the affluent, leftist, Tel-Aviv neighborhood of Ramat Aviv or Tel-Aviv University, both built on the Arab village of Sheikh Munis.

This is post is not only a message, or rather a warning, to the residents of Efrat, who see themselves as Jerusalem suburbanites, but also to the residents of North Tel-Aviv, who often appear to be living in a bubble, identifying more as "progressive" Europeans than as Jews living in the Middle East.

No one is safe from expulsion, not a neighborhood standing for 13 years, not a synagogue standing for 20 years, not a Jerusalem suburb, and not even Tel-Aviv.

Beit-El: Journey Back into Denial

י"ז לחודש החמישי תשע"ה

YNET: Netanyahu green lights construction of 300 homes in Beit El
In victory to settlers, prime minister okays building of homes promised after the evacuation of Givat Ulpana in 2012; Sa-Nur squatters agree to leave, if commission is formed to examine return to settlement.

Itamar Eichner, Itay Blumenthal, 07.29.15

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu green lighted on Wednesday the construction of 300 housing units in Beit El, mere hours after destruction began of the Draynoff buildings that have been at the center of a dispute between settlers and the Israeli government and High Court of Justice. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Yeah, right, like that'll happen!

This is a victory for settlers?

Reason to pose for photos with the unit which expelled their neighbors out of their homes?

Anonymous: Many magavnikim (border patrol officers) love Israel and love the people of Israel, and do not want to destroy homes. They should refuse orders, but I understand that many of them are afraid to.
Instead of posing for photos with the IDF and police, and serving them cold drinks, they should occasionally go out to the entrance of their town, and read their own sign,...and take their children with them.

Oh, yeah. The residents of this religious town should open the Torah up, once in a while, too.

Genesis 28: 12-19And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven; and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. And, behold, the LORD stood beside him, and said: 'I am the LORD, the God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac. The land where you lie, to you will I give it, and to your seed. And your seed will be as the dust of the earth, and you will spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. And in you and in your seed you, will all the families of the earth be blessed. And, behold, I am with you, and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back into this land; for I will not leave you, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.' And Jacob awakened from his sleep, and he said: 'Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.' And he was afraid, and said: 'How full of awe is this place! this is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.' And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put under his head, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it. And he called the name of that place Beth-El, but the name of the city was Luz at the first.

The Battle in Beit El: What's the Fight About?

י״ז לחודש החמישי תשע"ה
YNET: The battle in Beit El: What's the fight about?
High Court's order to destroy Draynoff buildings in West Bank community follows an ongoing litigation between State of Israel and a Palestinian petitioner over private land seized by the IDF in 1970.
Telem Yahav, 07.29.15
A dispute over piece of land seized by the IDF in 1970 is back in the headlines following recent clashes between security forces and settlers in Beit El and the High Court's order to tear down two controversial housing structures, known as the Draynoff buildings, in the West Bank community. When and how will this dispute end? Only time will tell.

Three years after the Six-Day War, a private piece of land north of Ramallah was seized for military purposes. Eight years later, the government approved the establishment of the Beit El community on that land.
Thirty-two years later, in 2010, Abd al-Rahman Qassem petitioned the High Court of Justice through Attorneys Michael Sfard and Shlomy Zachary of the Yesh Din human rights movement, claiming that some buildings in the western part of Beit El were built on private land which belonged to him. The buildings' construction was illegal, and that very year the Civil Administration issued an order to stop the construction work and demolish the buildings. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
OK. I am not even going to address the "32 years later" issue, no matter how ludicrous it is, because it is also completely irrelevant.

The IDF did not seize this Land; they conquered it!

50 And the LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying: 51 'Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan, 52 then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their figured stones, and destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places. 53 And you shall drive out the inhabitants of the land, and dwell in it; for to you have I given the land to possess it. 54 And you shall inherit the land by lot according to your families--to the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance; wheresoever the lot fall to any man, that shall be his; according to the tribes of your fathers you will inherit. 55 But if you will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then shall those that ye let remain of them be as thorns in your eyes, and as pricks in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land in which you dwell. 56 And it shall come to pass, that as I thought to do unto them, so will I do to you.
The fact that the Israeli Supreme Court, supported by many Member of K'nesseth, and operatives back the scenes, seem to want to stretch themselves as far as humanly possible to find ways and means to give away parts of our conquered Land, may, at first glance, be confusing. However, it is really not that hard to understand.

MK Yair Lapid explains it for us quite well is a recent Facebook status.

How dare they call themselves the national camp, and then go to blows with police officers and IDF soldiers? How dare they call themselves the national camp, and go out against the rule of law and court? How dare they call themselves the national camp, and weaken us in front of the world? How dare they call themselves the national camp if they sell the state to an extremist and violent group for political survival? How dare they call themselves the national camp if they get stunned and give to any ultimatum, bizarre as it may be? The real national camp is the majority of Israeli citizens who are not ready to fragment their state for the sake of a few lawbreakers. (July 29, 2015)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
MK Yair Lapid is not the only one who seems to think that giving up our Divinely promised, and given, Homeland, because an Arab comes to claim it, and the Israeli Supreme Court backs him up, is representative of the "national camp."

And, it is.

It is representative of the State "national camp."

The horribly misguided children serving drinks to their own expulsion forces are part of this camp.

Arutz 7 TV
(Screen Shot)
They are the brainwashed, robotic, State loyalist drones in training (AKA Mamlakhtim). They are part of Yair Lapid's national camp, not the Torah's "national camp."

What if an Arab, or anyone else for that matter, came to claim a yellow piece of the on the right? After all, those yellow pieces conquered by the State of Israel do not appear to have been approved by the United Nations. Would it be given to that person? What if one hundred or one thousand Arabs did the same?

Nahariyah? Akko? Be'er Sheva?

What if those Arabs desiring to claim their homes and lands, abandoned in 1948, under the proposed "Palestinian Right of Return?"

What if those properties included Sheikh Munis, where parts Tel-Aviv University and the left-wing, upscale Ramat Aviv neighborhood are now located?

Would they be returned to their "rightful," Arab owners?

I sincerely doubt it.

So, do you believe that...

חוקי התורה קודמים לחוקי האדם.
Torah laws take precedence over the laws of men.

...or not?

This what the battle in Beth-El is really about, not having your cake, and eating it, too.

Naftali Bennett Making Progress?

י״ג לחודש החמישי תשע״ה

YNET: Settlers Clash with Police in Beit El
Itay Blumenthal, 28.07.15

...The renewed violence on Tuesday came just after Education Minister Naftali Bennett spoke to the crowd, decrying the government's use of the military in the settlement overnight.

"In the early morning hours I spoke to the prime minister. I demanded that during the day, the government of Israel issues an official message to the High Court that it opposes the destruction of homes, and we're following up on that now," Bennett said.

Angry settlers in the crowd called on Bennett to quit the government, a move that would need to either a new coalition or new elections.

Video: Naftali Bennett telling the crowd in Beth-El about his talk with Prime Minister Netanyahu, then proclaiming that, "If disengagement occurs here, it will happen another time."

Seconds after Bennett finished speaking, the violent clashes with police resumed when settlers tried to break into the Draynoff buildings. The settlers were shouting at police, "You've destroyed a home in Israel" and "A Jew doesn't evict a Jew" (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Naftali Bennett
Could the residents of Beth-El be getting it after all?

No. Not really, especially when their children are handing out drinks to the same security forces, there to expel their neighbors from their homes.

What were they thinking?!

Speaking of "education," as far as Minister of Education Naftali Bennett goes, he sure made a few, good comments. They must have been, if "seconds after Bennett finished speaking, the violent clashes with police resumed when settlers tried to break into the Draynoff buildings."

(Without the help of the drink servers, of course!)

Arutz 7 TV
(Screen Shot)
However, if Naftali Bennett has not yet figured out that the Israeli government does not give a rat's tuchus that Eretz Yisra'el (Land of Israel), all of Eretz Yisra'el belongs to the Jews, with or without Arab testimony, then I am not so sure that he ever will.

The apparent political battle between Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli Supreme Court is just an illusion, a good example of "good cop-bad cop," being played by the government to its advantage.

Plus, until Bennett recants his infamous "plan," which includes granting autonomy to some Arabs, under an Israeli annexation of Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria), and granting Israeli citizenship to others, I'm counting him out as a serious contributor of benefit for the Jewish People.

Bennett's Plan vs. Arafat's Plan
Can you tell the difference? Neither can I.
The same goes for his cohort in Torah ignorance, MK Tzippy Hotovely.

Beth-El: Where Jacob Dreamed, and his Children Fight

Genesis 28: 12-19
And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven; and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
There is actually more than one opinion as to where Ya'aqov (Jacob) dreamed his dream. Nevertheless, the connection between Ya'aqov and Beth-El is traditionally strong.
YNET: 200 settlers clash with police in Beit El
Officials join families in defiantly repopulating Sa-Nur, a settlement abandoned in the disengagement, as youths battle security forces for control of Beit El near Ramallah.

Itay Blumenthal, 07.28.15

Violence erupted in the settlement of Beit El near Ramallah late Monday night when a group of approximately 200 young adults took control of the so-called Draynoff buildings, two housing structures which the High Court ordered be torn down Sunday night.

Security forces arrested 50 of the activists according to Honenu, an organization that offers legal help to Israelis. The rest of those protesting in Beit El were removed using riot control measures. The activists claimed that security forces used tear gas was inside the buildings in an attempt to remove those present.

The area was designated as a closed military zone and Israeli Border Police occupied the Draynoff buildings in order to prevent the return of the violent protesters.

Meanwhile, some 250 people, including dozens of families that were removed from the Sa-Nur settlement in the West Bank during the disengagement in 2005, returned to the village overnight without approval from Israeli security forces.

Government officials joined the group, including Bayit HaYehudi MK Bezalel Smotrich and former MK Professor Aryeh Eldad. The entered the fort-like structure that remains standing in Sa-Nur with the intention of permanently returning to the settlement.

"Ten years after the disengagement, it's about time to fix things. And that begins here, in northern Samaria," said Smotrich in a press release. "Families have begun settling into the rooms of the fort with the intention of staying for some time. We don't intend to move from here."

Security officials offered Smotrich and the others in Sa-Nur nothing but an ultimatum that they would be removed by force if they had not left of their own free will by 2pm.

Political Storm
The events in Beit El also led to a political storm Tuesday, with leaders on the political right claiming they were doing their utmost to strengthen settlements and prevent the destruction of the Draynoff buildings.

PM
"Our stance on this issue is clear," said Netanyahu. "We oppose their destruction and we're acting through the courts to prevent this step."

While making similar comments himself, Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon's decision to send troops into the settlement drew criticism from his political partners from Bayit Yehudi and former foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman who called for Ya'alon's resignation.

From the other side of the settlement debate, Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid called for the full support of IDF troops on the ground in Beit El.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Rabbi Zalman Melamed
After the Israeli governments last shenanigans in Beth-El, the town's Rabbi Melamed himself said he had felt betrayed by the government.

So, why are Beth-El residents repeating the thing over again, trusting the government, expecting different results?

The last time there were major clashes in Beth-El, they were between residents, misguided, State loyalists, and those defending Jewish settlement of Israel. Now they are back to being between the police and residents. Does this mean that Beth-El is waking up?

Nothing exciting to see here, except that the Israeli Border Police do not seem to like being videotaped very much, do they?
(Video: Beth-El Spokeswomen)

No. Apparently not.

What in the heck are these kids from Beth-El doing, handing out drinks to the same security forces, there to expel their neighbors from their homes??!!

Arutz 7 TV
(Screen Shot)
Anyone involved at all in these kids' education should be fired, and that includes their mamlakhti (diehard, State loyalist) parents!

The message has been clear for ages, Arab testimony is held on a higher level than Jewish testimony, even when the Arabs do not have any documents to support their claims, but the Jews do.

Equal enforcement of the law towards Jews, as suggested by Defense Minister Ya'alon and MK Lapid? I think not.

Who is running the country? The legislature, elected to enact the will of the people? Or the courts?

We have met the enemy, and they are the Erev Rav courts,...those officials allowing this travesty to continue, and those of us standing idly by.

I think that we Jews need to get over this whole democracy thing, and fast. There is a reason is not working.

It's not Jewish.

The Torah is the only justification Jews have for laying claim to Eretz Yisra'el (Land of Israel), ALL of Eretz Yisra'el. Yet, it is very rare, indeed, that an MK will ever quote from the Torah, to point out this justification.

I am the LORD, the God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac. The land where you lie, to you will I give it, and to your seed. And your seed will be as the dust of the earth, and you will spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. And in you and in your seed you, will all the families of the earth be blessed. And, behold, I am with you, and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back into this land; for I will not leave you, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.' (Gen. 28:13-15)
PLO Emblem
Mahmud Abbas's Pseudostine
There is no difference between Beth-El and Har HaBayith (Temple Mount) and Tel-Aviv. Not only does all of it belong to us, but the Arabs want it all.

The Palestinian Pseudostinian Liberation Organization's [PLO] emblem and Palestinian Pseudostinian Authority President Abbas's map speak for themselves.

When will our government finally get that through its thick skull?

When we will finally get it through our thick skulls, that the government never will?

The Same IDF Treatment Toward Jews as Palestinians? Not Quite.

ז׳ לחודש החמישי תשע״ה
YNET: IDF: Same treatment for Palestinian, Jewish rioters
Soldiers ordered to respond to Jewish stone-throwers just as they do to Palestinians - with riot control measures, Krav Maga.

Yoav Zitun, 07.13.15

Israel's security forces often find themselves in delicate situations that have led to harsh claims of racism and misconduct. But orders passed through the chain of command over the last year paint a different picture - one in which both Palestinian and Jewish rioters earn the same response.

"The command tells soldiers not to treat Palestinian or Jewish stone throwers differently," said a military source who expanded on the details of the order.

"In every case of Jewish attacks against Palestinians, the reaction has to be immediate," said the source, "And there are four red lines: One, damage to property or the body of a Palestinian; two, throwing stones at security forces; three, verbal violence against a soldier, police officer, or border police officer; four, damage to IDF property."

The order has been revised several times in the past, first appearing as a result of several incidents between right-wing activists and IDF soldiers. In many of these cases, soldiers stood by in instances of violence against Palestinians.

"We explain to combat soldiers that there is no difference between a Jewish and a Palestinian who breaks the law," said a senior officer. "There are no special regulations for firing on a Palestinian." (cont.)
And thus there are no special regulations for firing on a Jew.

Anyone out there, worried about a "War Between Brothers" (civil war), this is your cue to start whining about it. (Hint: It already began ages ago.)

Just like the Jew hatred is pushing Jews in the direction of, the erev rav gov't is pushing settlers/religious Jews (including Haredim)

Towns like Yitzhar get it. But, what about towns like Ofra and Neve Daniel? Will they?

Jews and Arabs are to be treated the same, huh? Not quite.
Arutz 7: Jewish Minor Brutally Assaulted by Cops in Demolition Protest
Youth protesting Beit El destruction gets violently assaulted by cops, necessitating hospital treatment; now his case is in court.

Nir Har-Zahav, 7/20/2015

The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court is to discuss on Monday the case of a Jewish youth who was arrested near Kiryat Arba in Judea on Sunday night, during one of a series of protests against the intended demolition of homes in Beit El located north of Jerusalem in Samaria.

The Honenu legal aid organization has revealed that the Jewish minor was brutally assaulted during his arrest by police officers, and was treated at Shaare Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem on Monday night for wounds sustained during the beating.

Honenu has turned to the division for the investigation of officers, in a request for an investigation against those policemen who beat the youth. (cont.)
Yeah, good luck with that one!
PM Netanyahu
The Supreme Court ruled roughly a month ago that several buildings in the eastern part of Beit El are to be demolished by July 30.

In a stormy meeting last Monday, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu admitted he intends to renege his campaign pledge to build 300 housing units in Beit El, saying he will allow the demolition to go ahead.

Netanyahu reneging on a campaign pledge? Please do not tell me that this comes as a surprise to you.
He also clarified his intentions to continue a covert total freeze on Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria that his coalition governments have been enacting for roughly two years now.

Regarding Beit El, there has been criticism against the paradigm by which all non-state land in Judea and Samaria is automatically considered to be Arab-owned private land, even without any proof of ownership, and therefore construction on it is deemed illegal.
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Go figure. Since the Torah says that the Land is ours, and the government says that it is not, that means that the government is contradicting the Torah.

And, PLEASE, do not tell me that this comes as a surprise to you, and PLEASE to not throw one of those mamlakhti (diehard State loyalist) responses at me, like "it's more complicated than that" or "we have to be patient" or that "the K'nesseth is a stand-in for a Jewish king."

Haven't you learned your lesson yet?

Still think the Government Of Israel [GOI] is a Jewish government?

I think not.

Who could possibly forget this powerful photo taken at the expulsion of Jews from Amona in תשס״ו/2006?
Nili: “You see me in the photograph, one against many, but that is only an illusion – behind the many stands one man – [Prime Minister Ehud] Olmert, but behind me stand the Lord and the people of Israel.”

Nili is pretty optimistic when she says that there is only one person standing on the other side of the Yassa"m (Israeli riot police) shields. For she is actually up against the Erev Rav. But, she is right about one thing. She has got The Almighty and the People of Israel behind her. We just need to remember that those people calling themselves "Jews" or "Israelis," who are not with her, are against her.

Should we now expect the same IDF treatment towards Jews as Pseudostinians?

Of course not! It has never been the same, and it never will be. This report is simply code for...

It is going to worse for the Jews!

Dear Rabbi Melamed, You Made your Bed, so now You'll have to Sleep in It.

ה׳ לחודש השביעי תשע״ה

I used to have a great deal of respect for Beth-El's Rabbi Zalman Melamed. That's right. "Used to," as in distant past.

Rabbi Zalman Melamed
Rabbi Melamed and his wife being a force behind Arutz 7's founding was enough in and of itself to gain my respect. The founding of Arutz 7 alone made the profound statement that the Labor Zionist, State of Israel's mainstream media was, in fact, insufficient for the needs of the Religious Zionist public.

Standing up against the raids by police, and the time spent in jail by Mrs. Melamed, David Shapira (French A7), and others only served to increase my respect for him.

For years, Rabbi Melamed, along with Merkaz HaRav Kook classmate Rabbi Dov Lior (Hevron-Qeriyath Arba) and Merkaz HaRav Kook Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Avraham Shapira ztz"l, was one of the very few to remind the Religious Zionist public that the State of Israel was not always in line with Torah, and that the Torah took precedence.

In fact, Rabbi Melamed has done quite a few things, which have impressed me, not the least of which was that he was one of the last Jews to leave Azza (Gaza), at the end of then Prime Minister Sharon's "Disengagement" Jewish Expulsion plan in 2005/תשס״ה. Along with Rabbi Lior and many Jewish teens and young adults, he remained barricaded on the roof of the K'far Darom synagogue, until the last possible moment.

But, now, this has all changed. What happened exactly? Perhaps something as simple as Rabbi Melamed not taking the statement ושנא את הרבנות ("despise the government"- Avoth) to heart. I cannot say for certain. Why is my respect for him buried deeply in the past? Read on.

PM Netanyahu
In the report below, not so ironically from Arutz 7, Rabbi Melamed complains that Prime Minister Netanyahu went back on his word, and that the Jewish Home Party has taken no action to try and reverse the housing freeze in Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria), which has been in effect for the last six months. He also criticizes the Jewish Home Party, because it "keeps on retreating, going on the defensive and compromising – instead of attacking and strengthening the Jewish character of the state."
Naftali Bennett
Jewish Home Party Leader

However, this is not the first time Rabbi Melamed has expressed his feelings of being deceived, including by the very Jewish Home Party he has so strongly supported: Rabbi Melamed Claims Deception.

Below, Rabbi Melamed expresses concern over the destruction of another housing structure. Yet, the last time around, in the end, whose followers were the ones helping to throw Jews out of their homes?

It seems to me that when you make a with people who have proven their reliability, not to mention their sneakiness, time and time again, then you deserve exactly what you get.

In the report below, Rabbi Melamed insists that “the public will not agree to this [destruction of more housing]," and that "there will be a really harsh war over this. There will be people who are willing to be hurt, to be injured and even worse than that, and not allow the destruction of these buildings that are in the very heart of the community. We cannot agree to this thing.”

A word of advice: After the last debacle, in which there were accusations made of Rabbi Melamed's people involved in doing the "hurting," I suggest that Rabbi Melamed lead the way himself, just like he did in K'far Darom, and just like his own teacher Rabbi Tzvi Yehuda Kook ztz"l did in Shavei Shomron, over 30 years ago. It will at least take this much to break though the State loyalist indoctrination, creaping in, let alone have any effect on those Jews on the other side of Beth-El, following its other "rabbi."

Oh, and, Rabbi Melamed, if you feel that the Israeli Government has turned on you, and that your fellow Religious Zionists have turned on you, then stay tuned, and keep an eye of those Christian donors of yours.

Arutz 7: Beit El's Rabbi Melamed: Netanyahu Cheated Me
Rabbi Zalman Melamed says there will be 'a real war' over government's intention to raze a building in the community.

By Uzi Baruch, Gil Ronen, September 22, 2014

Rabbi Zalman Baruch Melamed, Rabbi of Beit El and one of the leading religious Zionist rabbis of this generation, accused Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu of cheating him, when he promised to build 300 housing units in the community in exchange for the destruction of the Ulpana neighborhood.

Beth-El Ulpana Neighborhood apartment buildings, standing 13 years, before being destroyed.
"Settlement" or suburb? You be the judge.

The High Court recently decided to tear down a building constructed by contractor Meir Dreinof, which holds numerous housing units. But according to Rabbi Melamed, Netanyahu promised him – during the negotiations over the Ulpana neighborhood – that the building would remain standing.

“The public will not agree to this,” said the rabbi about the court decision. “There will be a really harsh war over this. There will be people who are willing to be hurt, to be injured and even worse than that, and not allow the destruction of these buildings that are in the very heart of the community. We cannot agree to this thing.”

Asked if he would be willing to calm the spirits as he did during the Ulpana controversy, Rabbi Melamed said that he could not, after the prime minister deceived him as he did.

The rabbi added that the prime minister's reneging on his promise harms him, Rabbi Melamed, personally. “When 30 housing units and the yeshiva building are built, the public says that the rabbi took care of his own business, and that he does not really care about the 300 houses that the prime minister promised. This is a very grave affront to me and I will not be able to interfere and tell people to avoid this struggle.”

The rabbi added that he is disappointed with the way the Jewish Home is conducting itself on this matter and others. “There is an onslaught of laws that detract from the state's Jewish character, and the Jewish Home keeps on retreating, going on the defensive and compromising – instead of attacking and strengthening the Jewish character of the state.

"As regards the Land of Israel, there is a freeze [on Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria] for the past six months, and the Jewish Home is not taking any action to prevent this situation, so it is little wonder that the public is frustrated.”

The Jewish Home should demand that Netanyahu press ahead with the promised 300 housing units, the rabbi added. “I do not like to say words of criticism on the eve of Rosh Hashana,” he explained, however, “and I wish that the Jewish Home and the Prime Minister will carry out their duties next year – Shana Tova to everyone.”

Rabbi Zalman Melamed Claims "Deception" (for the Umteenth Time?)

ו' לחודש השביעי תשע"ד

Rabbi Zalman Melamed
Arutz 7: Rabbi of Beit El: We've been Deceived
Leading Zionist rabbi says Bayit Yehudi was wrong to make a pact with Yesh Atid, bemoans yeshiva budgets.

Gil Ronen, September 9, 2013

Rabbi Zalman Melamed, the Dean of the High Yeshiva of Beit El and one of the leading Zionist rabbis, sent a letter Monday to the members of the Bayit Yehudi party in which he said that teaming up with Yesh Atid – whose leader, Yair Lapid, is Finance Minister – was a mistake.

"I was wrong, in my naivete, when I thought that Yesh Atid is really after equality in bearing the burden [of military service]," he wrote, in a reference to the idea of making hareidi men serve in the military. "What is happening on the ground, and what they are doing, is a very harsh blow to the yeshivas, both in the Enlistment Bill and in the budget, including the Zionist yeshivas."

"They deceived us. They defrauded us. Therefore, we must say to the ministers and Knesset members in the Bayit Yehudi – no more! We are not partners in a pact for bringing down the Torah. Wage an open war against the damage to the yeshivas."

Rabbi Shai Piron, Minister of (Re-)Education
Boy, that face sure inspires confidence, doesn't it?
Rabbi Melamed also addressed Yesh Atid's religious education minister, Rabbi Shai Piron. "I call upon Rabbi Piron: I am convinced that you did not mean to join a party that would hurt the yeshivas, including the Zionist yeshivas. You came to unite and not to divide, not to create hatred between religious and secular people. You have no right to be a party to such moves."

The current state budget cut the budget for every yeshiva student by almost two thirds. After Bayit Yehudi applied pressure, some of the money that had been cut was put back, but the budget per student is still less than half of its former level.

Religious Zionist Bayit Yehudi formed a pact with anti-hareidi Yesh Atid because the alternative, according to Bayit Yehudi leader, Minister Naftali Bennett, would have been a left-wing coalition that would have included hareidim, and left out religious Zionists. This pact received support from rabbis who trusted Bennett's political instincts and rationale. While the cut to non-Zionist yeshiva budgets was expected - due to the fact that their students do not perform any form of national service - no one seemed to think that Zionist yeshivas would also be hard hit.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Well, Rabbi Melamed has certainly got one right: He was wrong. Naive? I'm not so sure about that. I think it may very well be possible that he simply did not want to believe what right in his face:

1. The complete lack of consideration of the Israeli government of Torah.
2. The complete lack of any connection between democracy to Torah, or in Israel's case, deMOCKracy.
3. Minister Shai Piron's interest in destroying the semi-private, Torani school system. Beth-El has at least two such schools, of which I am aware.
4. The repetition of the same ol' mistakes expecting different results (Einstein's definition of sanity.) Those mistakes include "working within the system to effect change" alla Rabbi Benny Elon, former MK, and head of the Moledeth Party-National Union.

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

Three times? Four times?

So, now that Rabbi Melamed has admitted that there is a problem, that he has a problem, I am waiting with baited breath to learn what he actually decides to do about it.
