American Jews, Wake Up Already!

English follows the Hebrew. Maybe some native Israelis residing in the U. S. will also benefit from this wake-up call.

My mother grew up in the Fairfax District.

I am not even going to comment on the details of the protests riots related to the death of George Floyd. It's the United States. It's not our country, only our temporary dwelling place until we can reclaim the only true homeland of the Jewish People. I would like to emphasize that I wrote Land here, and not State.

Yes. Jews have always been in the forefront of real, social justice protests, emphasis on the word real. And yes, it makes sense for Jews to be involved with social justice in foreign lands, as long as they reside there.

But, why are Jews still residing in foreign lands, when they no longer have to?

I have mentioned countless times on this blog, there is a strong connection between justice and residing in the Land of Israel.
Justice, justice you shall pursue.... (Deut. 19:20)
Of course, many Jews comfortably entrenched in the U. S. and else, intentionally or unintentionally, leave out the rest of the verse:

Justice, justice you shall pursue, that you will live, and inherit the land which the LORD thy God given to you. (Deut. 19:20)
Rodney King Riots Map 1992
Some Jews Others are just armchair Zionists. Many Left-wing Jews are simply the victims of being led astray, and can probably be considered tinoq shenishba (like captured Jewish children raised by non-Jews). As condescending as that that sounds, it's the truth. And we all know that the truth can hurt.

There are Jews who complain about the Israeli Government, its shenanigans, and how difficult it can make it for real Torah observant, Zionist Jews (whether they realize it or not). My message to them is: Why not come and help us, who are on the frontlines by the way, to change things?

Then, of course, there are many non-Jews who have been fooled brainwashed into believing that they are Jews, either through fake conversions of their mothers, themselves, or being lied to that that need not convert at all. I almost feel sorry for these people. Almost. Although many of them have been duped by Jews. Even most of these Jews, daring to call themselves "rabbis," are just pawns of the Erev Rav leadership from the various quasi-Jewish "movements."

But, I digress...

Why are Jews so surprised that they are getting blamed, and attacked physically, for a non-Jewish police officer's involvement in the death of an African-American man?

This just happened not even 30 years ago! See the map (right). The Rodney King riots reached Beverly Hills. The Pico-Robertson District is just south of Beverly Hills, and there are plenty of Jews between Beverly Hills and eastward town Downtown, such in Fairfax District, Miracle Mile, Hancock Park.

And now, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and Culver City all have curfews imposed.

The police were not successful in protecting Jewish property. Do you really think they won't eventually fail in protecting your lives?

Maybe it's time to stop repeating the same mistakes over again, expecting different results.

Maybe it's time to read the writing on the wall, and get come home while you still can. How flights to Israel now are there anyway, due to the whole Corona situation? Could you even come to Israel right now if you wanted to?

Our tradition states that only 20% made it out of Egypt. How many will make it out this time, out of Edom (Rome / The West)?

It's Broken Record Time: Western Values and Sensibilities do not Equal Jewish Values and Sensibilities

A respondant to a string on Facebook warning of the dangers of assimilation, particularly outside of Israel:
The solution lays in adjusting halacha (Jewish Law) to make it more attractive for the people, less oppressive towards woman, less misogynistic, ethnocentric and sexist. We can deny all we want, but why would anyone want to be a part of a religion that makes them feel bad? Assimilation happens as a result of something, maybe instead of locking up the girls of Israel, make them apart of the leadership, halachic bodies and allow them to take an active roll in who they can be in this religion. Marriage is the point where woman clearly have a disadvantage, look at the get situation among many woman who actively choose to remain religious. Arabs aren't the issue and neither are the "none-Jews" it's close minded Jews who want to stay in the Galut/holocaust mentality that drive assimilation.
Esser Agaroth (2¢) Response:
We are not here on this earth do whatever we want (ie. adjust halakhah), nor are we here on this earth to do whatever we want, and delude ourselves into thinking that it is, in fact, what HaShem wants, too.

We are here on this earth to do what HaShem wants. How do we know what that is? His Holy Torah, which includes the Oral Torah.

When we attempt to "adjust" halakhah, based on nothing but how we feel and what we want, then we are doing nothing less than disregarding it, if not cancelling its proper place in our lives.

I would like to suggest that you (and many others) arrived at this idea as a result of 1,700 to 2,000 years in galuth (exile). Such an experience can, and has, most certainly distort the authenticity of a people's traditions, not to mention their beliefs.

That being said, I am just as critical of all of the humroth (stringencies) which also came out of galuth, as I am of those with perspectives such as yours. These humroth may have had their purpose in galuth, to keep us together, whole, and on track. However, I do not see that they have much purpose here in Eretz Yisra'el.

In support of you, I believe that you are right about people not being attracted to Judaism, but I disagree with your solution. The solution, I believe, is two-fold:
1. Seek out the learning of authentic halakhah. One possible resource for this is Machon Shilo and its companion YouTube Channel, which is updated weekly.

2. Learn to differentiate between Western values and sensibilities (eg. feminism, egalitarianism, state-ism, Christianity, haskalah) and Jewish values and sensibilities. In time, we can all learn which is the wisdom of the goyim (non-Jews) that we may embrace, and which is the failed attempts of "Torah" by the goyim, that which we must discard, if not speak out against them.
Here is an example: When Passover Became a Holiday Again.

Most Jews forget that Passover is a holiday, a happy time, but rather see, and inaccurately so, as a time of suffering, if not during Passover itself, then certainly beforehand, scrub brush in hand.

Who wants to spend six to eight hours in schul on Rosh HaShannah? I sure don't! Although there are some out there who find this meaningful and gratifying, I, personally, am not one of them. And I challenge anyone to show me how this is the halakhah.

I am happy to report that every year, I spend 3:20 hours in a minyan on Rosh HaShannah morning. That's right only 3:20 hours, and I can even set my watch by it.

But this is not about "less" being "more." Otherwise, the so-called Jewish "movements" would be the bearers of the solution, which they most certainly are not.

This is about stepping up to challenge of accepting an authentic Jewish identity, and investigating what that means, and perhaps more importantly, what that doesn't mean.

It's Broken Record Time! Arabs Want to Annihilate Us!

YNET: PLO official: Abbas' successor could return to armed resistance
Should peace talks fail, next Fatah leader could 'give up and return to the old way,' official says, speculating Abbas' future successor could be outsider or person currently jailed in Israel.
February 27, 2014

A senior official within the Fatah movement warned that the next Palestinian leader might return to violent resistance should peace talks fail, Israel Radio reported.

"It is not detached from reality," the official said regarding the possibility that the yet unknown political heir to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will choose to return to an armed struggle should a peaceful solution failed to be reached.

"If diplomatic negotiations will no bare fruit, and there will be no hope or prospect, it is possible Fatah will give up and return to its old ways," the senior official told Israel Radio. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
I can't believe that I actually have to repeat myself, over, and over, and over, and over again!
PA President Mahmud Abbas's vision for Israel: Death.

I feel like a broken record.

"Sheeple" = "Sheep" + "People"
Yet, I have still not nearly as broken as the Israeli and exiled Jewish "Sheeple," some of whom refuse to wake up, and some of whom are brainwashed pawns of the Erev Rav, carrying out its evil plans to destroy the Jewish People through assimilation into Western culture, and by other means, destroy any vestiges of Jewishness of the Land of Israel, and anything and everything else truly related to Torah.

I am sure that is just too much for you to be able to absorb all at once. So, I will hock you over one issue at a time.

Arab cannot be trusted! They want to annihilate us!

I will have to get into your face another time about the dangers of the un-Jews.

You are simply not ready for it.

It's Broken Record Time: New York is not Your Home; Israel Is!

So, yet another North American Jew, even another frum (Orthodox) Jew has made the "big time," being elected to state office. In the case of New York State Sen. Simcha Felder (D-17th-Kings County*), he has been in office for 13 months and a few days.

You can read all the details, including the controversies, of his political career on his Wikipedia page.

In the meantime, let's check out what the good State Senator had to say on the floor....

(Tip: Life In Israel)

Hmm...

OK. So, he talked about a proposed Senate Resolution honor a Jew man Rabbi Michoel Ber Weissmandl who spent much of his life rescuing Jews people from their ultimate demise during the Holocaust.

Did you pick up on the politically-correct manner in which he expressed his thoughts and feeling regarding this issue? (SIGH)

The manner in which he went about speaking on this proposal for a resolution was not wrong, per se. the fact that he is in a position where he follow such rules of politically-correct etiquette is.

So, I must add NY State Sen. Simcha Felder to the ever growing list of Jewish politicians, investing way too much time and energy for the sake of galuth (their lands of exile).

With all of the guff I give to Rabbi MK Dov Lipman (Yesh Atid), at least I can say that he is living in the only true Homeland of the Jewish People, and that his time and energies are more highly invested in the right direction, for the sake of Am Yisra'el.

Rb. Lipman and I may disagree (often). Nevertheless, he is here in Eretz Yisra'el; Sen. Felder is not.

Wanna wait around for Mashi'ah? That's fine (Well, it's not actually fine, but...), then at least invest your time and energy more directly in your own People.

Arutz 7: EU Redraws Israel Borders to 1949 Lines
For the first time, the EU formally forbids trade with bodies located beyond 1949 Armistice lines, including Golan.

Gil Ronen, July 16, 2013

The European Union [EU] has issued orders forbidding its member states from cooperating, transferring funds, giving scholarships or research grants to bodies in Judea and Samaria, eastern Jerusalem , and even the Golan Heights, Haaretz wrote Tuesday.

The new instruction, promulgated by the European Commission, which is the operative arm of the EU, sets parameters for cooperation between the EU and its members states, on the one hand, and Israeli governmental and private elements on the other. The instructions are for the years 2014 – 2020 and will go into force on Friday, July 18.

The decision also states that any future agreement signed with Israel must include a section that says the “settlements” are not part of sovereign Israel and therefore not included in the agreement.

A senior source in the Foreign Ministry said Tuesday that the new EU decision is dramatic, and can be called “a true earthquake.”

"This is the first time in which a explicit and formal instruction like this is issued. Until now, there were silent understandings and agreements that the EU does not work beyond the Green Line” – as the 1949 Armistice Line is known – “but this is an official and binding prohibition.” (Official to whom? Binding to what?)

Deputy Foreign Minister Ze'ev Elkin said that the EU decision is “very worrisome” and will make it difficult for the state of Israel to conduct contacts with the EU regarding cooperation agreements.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
What's all the uproar? What's all the shock and surprise about?

The State of Israel made its own bed back in תשכ"ז/1967, by not annexing Yehudah, Shomron, and Azza (Judea, Samaria, and Gaza), and by not retaining Har HaBayith (Temple Mount), and by not at least beginning to tackle the Arab problem. Now, it appears, it is going to have to sleep in it.

Besides the shock and surprise, the only problem I see here is that the Israeli Government, and those of its citizens who have successfully completed their indoctrination into undying loyalists, actually care about what the EU sees as being Israel, and what it does not, and how that will affect business.

(SIGH)

If we do not say that all of Eretz Yisra'el is ours, if we do not demonstrate with appropriate actions that all of it is ours, then why should anyone else in the world believe that all of it is, in fact, ours??

Eretz Yisra'el in the time of Yehoshu'a bin Nun
Unfortunately, those who suffer are the people, and those in Yehudah and Shomron who still rely on the Israeli government, as its "stand-in" for a king.

Q: When will the Israeli government finally stop being so concerned with what the goyim think?

A: Quite possibly when it ceases to be the Israeli Government.
