אפשר לצטט את המון הפסוקים בתורה ובשאר התנ״ך המזכירים על שבועת הקב"ה לתת ארץ ישראל לעם ישראל מיליון פעמים. אבל לא משנה. מתעקשים לסרב לקבל את העובדה שארץ ישרא שייכת ליהודים ולא לאחרים, לא לכנענים , לא למוסלמים (ערבים, פרסים וכו'), לא. לנוצרים (הוותיקן, האורתודוכסים, אוונגליקלים), ולא לגלובליסטים.

כמובן, המוסלמים, כופרים בתורה ולכן כופרים בשייכות שלנו לארץ ישראל. המוסלמים מאמינים שהם חייבים לכבוש את כל העולם כולו. עם ישראל מכשול להשגת המטרה הזו. יש אומרים שנזכר בקוראן שלהם את הקשר של עם ישראל לארץ ישראל. לא מעניין אותנו לדאג על שכתוב או לא כתוב בספרים של אף עם אחר חוץ משלנו.

מסתבר עוד ויותר שגם הנוצרים מאמינים שהם זכאים לארץ ישראל כך או אחרת, או עם היהודים או בלעדינו.

בתמונת הציוץ למעלה מוצגים גם דתיים לאומיים וגם חרדים. ברור שהערב רב לא שמחים לראות אחדות ישראל מוצג כאן או בשום מקום אחר.

אולי בעתיד (במהרה בימינו!) סוף סוף היהודים יתעוררו יקבלו את העובדה שערבים הכובשים את יהודה ושומרון, מזרח ירושלים, והר הבית, לא מבדילים בין קבוצות היהודים המגוונות. דתיים לאומיים, חרדיים, שמאלניים, מבחינת הערבים כולנו אותו הדבר.

הערבים גם לא מבדילים בין חברון לתל-אביב, בין חיפה לשכם (בראשית ל"ג,יח-כ, יהושע כד,לד). בעיני הערבים, כל היהודים הם "מתנחלים" ו"קולוניאלים" (מושבנים). הם בהחלט לא מקבלים אותנו כעם ילידי הארץ. (אנו צוווו לכבוש את ארץ ישראל לקחת אותה מהכנענים.)

פעולות משא ומתן האחרונות בין מדינת ישראל לאיחוד האמירויות, ערב הסעודית וקטאר פשוט מגלים את שינוי באסטרטגיה שלהם. כנראה שהם לומדים את השיטה זהו מהנוצרים. אלפיים שנה כבר הנוצרים משנים ומתאימים את האסטרטגיות שלהם כדי לנצח את ישראל. כך עשיו נהג כדי לנצח את אחיו יעקב אבינו - ישראל (בראשית כה,לג; כו,כד; כז,מא; לג,ד-יב). עשיו הוא אב עולם המערב כולל הנוצרים.

לצערינו האמת היא שלערבים אין מה לדאוג. ממשלת ישראל שלנו אוסרת את כל מה שרשום לעיל בתמונה!

הבה נתפלל שבשנה הבאה, תהיה לנו שליטה אמיתית על הר הבית, ונוכל לבצע את כל הפעולות שהערבים חוששים מהן!

The Almighty's Divine promise of the Land of Israel to the People of Israel (Jews) is mentioned countless times in the Torah [the first 5 books] and elsewhere in Tana"kh (The Bible). These verses can be cited a million times. Yet, so many people still cannot get it into their heads that the Land of Israel was promised to the Jewish People and to no others, not to the Canaanites [anymore], not to the Muslims (Arabs, Persians, etc.), not to the Christians (Vatican, E. Orthodox, Evangelicals), and not to the globalists.

Muslims, of course, deny this. They believe they supposed to conquer everything. Even though there are those who say the Jewish connection to the Land is mentioned in their own Quran. 

It has becoming increasingly apparent that Christians also believe they are entitled to the Land of Israel one way or another, with or without the Jews.

However, I would like to point out that both your typical Religious Zionists AND Haredim (ultra-orthodox) are depicted here. I doubt that the Erev Rav would be pleased to see anything even remotely related to Ahduth Yisrael (Jewish Unity) depicted here or anywhere.

Maybe one day all Jews will finally wake up to the fact that Arabs occupying Judea and Samaria (West Bank), including Eastern Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, do not make any distinctions between Jews. Religious Zionists, Haredim, Leftists, what have you, are all the same to them. 

Neither do they make distinctions between Hevron and Tel-Aviv, Haifa and Shchem (Gen. 33:18-20, Josh. 24:32), which the Arabs call Nablus. To the Arabs, all Jews are "settlers" and "colonials." They certainly do not accept us as an indigenous people, nor should they.

The United Emirite, Saudi, and Qatari Arabs' recent agreements with Israel simply reflect a change in strategy, having taken a lesson from the Christians. Christians have been changing and adapting their strategies in order to gain the upper hand over Israel for two thousand years, following the example of their predecessor Esau (The West) who adapted and changed his strategies to defeat his brother Jacob (Israel) (Gen. 25:33, 26:24, 27:41, 33:4-12).

The unfortunate truth is that the Arabs have nothing to worry about. Our own Israeli Government has outlawed all of the above.

Let us pray that in the fast approaching New Year, we will have true control over the Temple Mount, and be able to execute all those activities the Arabs fear.

May all Jews be written and sealed for a good year!

In order to prevent our ultimate goal of Ahduth Yisra'el (Jewish Unity).

Meanwhile, infiltrators/illegal aliens from Eritrea and the Sudan continue to roam the streets with  only minimal if any police intervention.

האם התפילה בבית הכנסת ארוכה מדי בימים הנוראים? / Are Synagogue Prayers on Rosh HaShannah and Yom Kippur too Long?

בראש השנה בבוקר מצאתי שסוללת השעון שלי מתה ולכן איחרתי להגיע בזמן לשמוע את תקיעות השופר מייד אחרי קריאת התורה. אז לא היתה לי שום ברירה חוץ מלהשאר ולסבול במשך חזרת הש״ץ של תפילת מוסף.

כשהתפללתי אצל רבי ומורי הרב דוד בר-חיים בירושלים בראש השנה בירושלים החחיה הזו מעולם לא היה היתה ככה בכלל. אלא אורך התפילה היה סביר וכן בטח לפי ההלכה, והתפילה אפשרה לנו להתרכז בקלות, וממש משמעותית.

הרבה מאיתנו לא יודעים התקיעות במשך חזרת הש״ץ של תפילת מוסף הן תקיעות השופר לשמוע לכתחילה. מאה תקיעות השופר שנוהגים לתקוע אחרי קריאת התורה הן פשוט בשביל הזקנים והחולים שלא יכולים לסבול מלהשאר בביה״כ במשך תפילת מוסף, ולנשים הצריכות לטפל בילדים.

אפשר לבקר אותי שאני התכוונתי להגיע ולשמוע את התקיעות ולצאת מייד. אבל בואו נדבר על זה פעם אחרת.

ואיך ברורלי שהרבה מאיתנו לא יודעים שתקיעות השופר במשך חזרת הש״ץ של תפילת מוסף הן תקיעות השופר לכתחילה ולא תקיעות מיותרות? בגלל כל הפטפוטים והילדים המתרוצצים והרועשים. רוב הקהילה הזו סבלו ולא שמו לב בכלל לחזרת הש״ץ ובמיוחד אחרי התקיעה האחרונה.

חבל שחושבים שחייבים להגיד את כל פיוט ופסגות נוספות כדי לצאת מידי חובה. ולכן לא סובלים רק באופן פיזי ורגשי אלא גם באופן רוחני.

לגבי המילה ענוי (torture) כאן בכותרת הסרטון (השני) באנגלית, אין שום כוונה להקטין את החריפות (חו״ח) של ענויי הצעירים ואפילו את מה שהקטינים עברו ע״י כוחות השלטון.

הרב פשוט מדגיש את הרצינות של הבעיות של המנהגים כאלה הפוגעים בכוונת הלב.

בסרטון הזה (הראשון) הרב מתיחס לתפילות ביום הכיפורים.

This past Rosh Hashanah morning, I found that my clock battery was dying, providing me with an inaccurate time. So I ended up arriving late to hear shofar (ram's or other kosher, properly prepared horn) blown after the Torah reading. So, in order to fulfill the mitzvah mid'Oraita (explicitly written commandment) of hearing the shofar blown on the first day of the Seventh Month (Tishrei), I really had no choice but to endure the excruciatingly long repetition of the Mussaf amidah, the additional prayer, of Rosh HaShannah.

When I used to pray on Rosh HaShannah in Jerusalem by my rabbi and teacher, this was never the case. Rather it was a reasonable, and yes, halakhic in length and components, and for that matter, easy to concentrate on, and meaningful.

Many of us do not know the blasts during the rehearsal of the Supplement Prayer are the shofar blasts to hear in the first place. The hundred shofar blosts that are used to stick after reading the Torah are simple for the elderly and the sick who cannot suffer to stay in the hospital during supper prayer, and for women who need to take care of the children.

You can criticize me for intending to come and hear shofar, and then immediately leave. But that's an issue for discussion for another time.

And how is it so clear to me that most of us do not realize that shofar blasts during the repetition of the mussaf amidah are the  ideal time to hear them, as opposed to those blown right after the Torah reading? Because of all the chatter among the men and noisy kids running around. Most of this congregation where I prayed were suffering and indeed, did not pay so much attention to the repetition of mussaf.

It is a pity to think that all the possible added poetry and paragraphs must be said in order to fulfill ones obligation, and thus not only suffer physically and emotionally but also spiritually.

With regard to the word torture used here in the video in English below, there is no intention of minimalizing ​​of the torture of our youth, even minors have undergone by the powers that be.

The rabbi simply emphasizes the seriousness of the problems of such practices that prevent us participating fully and connecting in our own prayers.

Well, there I was, minding my own business, when I noticed several new notifications on my
@EsserAgaroth Twitter account.

Imagine my shock when I found that I have been added to the following groups!

Actually, I'm just kidding. I wasn't shocked at all. I even "thanked" the Jew-hater Kenneth 'Cha' Mac who added me!

The link I tweeted here is to Debunking Israel's Indigenous Argument, informing him, and everyone else, of the irrelevance of who was in Israel first. But, the Pseudostinians certainly weren't. That's for sure!

 

Then I noticed the cross in his mouth and next to his Twitter profile name. I just couldn't help myself. So, I tweeted a link to Disproving Christianity in 10 minutes to him. Before posting these screen shots of our Tweeting extravaganza, I erased part of the cross next to his username. I didn't want that avodah zarah (foreign worship) crap displayed on my site.

 

The link I tweeted in response to his "Wheres" tweet is to this graphic. I included the Torah verses here, as well. Granted, this is only one of many sources of The Almighty's promise of Eretz Yisra'el (Land of Israel) to the Jewish People. But, as I tweeted above, it is one of my favorites!

"In that day the Lord made a covenant with Avram, saying: 'To your seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates.' the Kenite, and the Kenizzite, and the Kadmonite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Rephaim, and the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Girgashite, and the Jebusite.'" (Genesis 15:18-21)

I suppose that his query here is a reference to waiting from Mashi'ah (Messiah) to come and do everything for us. My response speaks for itself.

This was my last back-and-forth with Kenneth 'Cha' Mac, as soon afterwards, he blocked me.

I'm so upset! NOT!

And, don't think I'm removing myself from those groups either. I'm not one of those sissy Hasbara Jews. I don't give a rat's tuchus as to what the goyim think of me, my people, or my homeland. Sounds like a great publicity tool to me, don't you think?

Well, after this exchange on Twitter, it is only appropriate to wish everyone a שנה טובה ומתוקה/ Shannah Tovah u'Methuqah, a Good and Sweet Year, with an re-posting of Lehava's own blessing. Lehava is an organization which works against Jewish assimilation, including intermarriage. (Tip: former MK Micha'el Ben-Ari).

One of the symbolic foods eaten by Jews on Rosh HaShannah is the תמר/tamar (date). Its sound tamar similar to the Hebrew verb tam (to finish), it is eaten with the following blessing.

May it be Your Will, Lord our God, and the God of our Fathers that our enemies, and haters, and all who request evil for us be finished!

It's Broken Record Time: Western Values and Sensibilities do not Equal Jewish Values and Sensibilities

A respondant to a string on Facebook warning of the dangers of assimilation, particularly outside of Israel:

The solution lays in adjusting halacha (Jewish Law) to make it more attractive for the people, less oppressive towards woman, less misogynistic, ethnocentric and sexist. We can deny all we want, but why would anyone want to be a part of a religion that makes them feel bad? Assimilation happens as a result of something, maybe instead of locking up the girls of Israel, make them apart of the leadership, halachic bodies and allow them to take an active roll in who they can be in this religion. Marriage is the point where woman clearly have a disadvantage, look at the get situation among many woman who actively choose to remain religious. Arabs aren't the issue and neither are the "none-Jews" it's close minded Jews who want to stay in the Galut/holocaust mentality that drive assimilation.

Esser Agaroth (2¢) Response:
We are not here on this earth do whatever we want (ie. adjust halakhah), nor are we here on this earth to do whatever we want, and delude ourselves into thinking that it is, in fact, what HaShem wants, too.

We are here on this earth to do what HaShem wants. How do we know what that is? His Holy Torah, which includes the Oral Torah.

When we attempt to "adjust" halakhah, based on nothing but how we feel and what we want, then we are doing nothing less than disregarding it, if not cancelling its proper place in our lives.

I would like to suggest that you (and many others) arrived at this idea as a result of 1,700 to 2,000 years in galuth (exile). Such an experience can, and has, most certainly distort the authenticity of a people's traditions, not to mention their beliefs.

That being said, I am just as critical of all of the humroth (stringencies) which also came out of galuth, as I am of those with perspectives such as yours. These humroth may have had their purpose in galuth, to keep us together, whole, and on track. However, I do not see that they have much purpose here in Eretz Yisra'el. 

In support of you, I believe that you are right about people not being attracted to Judaism, but I disagree with your solution. The solution, I believe, is two-fold:

1. Seek out the learning of authentic halakhah. One possible resource for this is Machon Shilo and its companion YouTube Channel, which is updated weekly.


2. Learn to differentiate between Western values and sensibilities (eg. feminism, egalitarianism, state-ism, Christianity, haskalah) and Jewish values and sensibilities. In time, we can all learn which is the wisdom of the goyim (non-Jews) that we may embrace, and which is the failed attempts of "Torah" by the goyim, that which we must discard, if not speak out against them.

Here is an example: When Passover Became a Holiday Again.

Most Jews forget that Passover is a holiday, a happy time, but rather see, and inaccurately so, as a time of suffering, if not during Passover itself, then certainly beforehand, scrub brush in hand.

Who wants to spend six to eight hours in schul on Rosh HaShannah? I sure don't! Although there are some out there who find this meaningful and gratifying, I, personally, am not one of them. And I challenge anyone to show me how this is the halakhah.

I am happy to report that every year, I spend 3:20 hours in a minyan on Rosh HaShannah morning. That's right only 3:20 hours, and I can even set my watch by it.

But this is not about "less" being "more." Otherwise, the so-called Jewish "movements" would be the bearers of the solution, which they most certainly are not.

This is about stepping up to challenge of accepting an authentic Jewish identity, and investigating what that means, and perhaps more importantly, what that doesn't mean.

WASHINGTON – US President Barack Obama took a few minutes off from dealing with the Syrian crisis to wish some 1,000 rabbis a happy Rosh Hashana (Jewish New Year).

One of the rabbis who took part in the annual conference call said Obama was asked how the US could be counted on to curb Iran's nuclear program if it does not respond to Syria's use of chemical weapons. Obama refused to tell the rabbis what he plans to do with regards to Syria, but said that the conclusion of the current crisis will prove he can be relied upon.

The American leader also spoke of the unbreakable bond between the US and Israel and the values shared by both countries, including the Jewish values of social justice. Obama also mentioned the Jews' participation in the struggle for civil rights led by Martin Luther King Jr. The US recently marked the 50th anniversary of King's "I have a dream" speech.

During the conference call Obama also mentioned his administration's efforts to promote health care reform and peace between Israel and the Palestinians.

Gee. I'd sure like to get ahold of that guest list of rabbis! I'll give you 10 to one, that not too many of them are really rabbis, but rather "rabbis." And the ones who are rabbis, are so only marginally.

Why do I say that about "so only marginally?"

Well, because not only are rabbis supposed to learn Torah, and teach it, there are also supposed to live according to it,...NOT distort, ignore, cross out, or "creatively interpret" elements of the Torah which they do not happen to "resonate with" (ie. "like) or do not find to be "relevant to contemporary society." (whatever the heck that means!)

Now, what also caught my eye about this report was that according to these "rabbis," intervening in Syria, because its government used chemical weapons on its citizens is OK. But, when President Bush (not that I'm a fan of his either) intervened in Iraq, in part because its government used chemical weapons on its citizens, it was not OK. 'Nuff said on that.

Social justice? Well, by now, we should all know that within the Greater Jewish Community, the phrase "social justice" is code for "justice for anyone besides Jews, unless they agree with us."

And, of course, their version of "social justice" has little if anything to do with Torah justice,...unless you count the Torah distortions, which I do not.

Moving right along...

"Martin Luther King, Jr." (left) seemed to be more in touch with Am Yisra'el's claim to Eretz Yisra'el as its Divinely promised, eternal Homeland, than the so-called "rabbis" in the Obama royal court attendance at President Obama's pre-Rosh HaShannah Conference. "Sad" and "embarrassing" do not even begin to cover the range of emotions evoked by this failure of these Jews (how many of them are really even Jewish,...according to halakhah, that is?) to connect with their Homeland and their Torah.

One of the categories of Erev Rav has no connection to Eretz Yisra'el (Kol HaTor), as RaSh"I cites: the Erev Rav wept when their were told that they would be traveling to Eretz Yisra'el, because the a no connection (inheritance) to it.

"Sheeple" = sheep + people

Food for thought. Yet, truly they could not possibly know exactly what they are doing,...too many qelipoth/galuth influence = tinoq shenishba.
 
"Peace between Israel and the Palestinians" only means one thing to these people: "piece with the Palestinians."

May this New Year bring a mass awaking of Jews from their stupor, and get on the plane to Israel!

Less a week after he was found guilty of indecent assault by force on a minor, Rabbi Mordechai Elon is receiving significant support from one of the most prominent religious Zionist rabbis. Ynet has learned that Rabbi Chaim Druckman, one of the leaders of the national-religious public, invited the convicted rabbi to deliver his weekly Torah lesson at his yeshiva of Or Etzion.

In the past few days, Rabbi Druckman has avoided voicing a public opinion in regards to Rabbi Elon or repeating his past statements in favor of the man or against those who accused him of committing sex offenses – likely for fear of creating a public row.

Druckman has been criticized in the past for innocently backing Ze'ev Kopolevitch, the former head of Jerusalem's Netiv Meir Yeshiva, who was convicted of indecent acts against his students, thus hurting the victims once again.(cont.)

I am not sure how much I need to add to this self-explanatory report.

I am usually suspicious of the objectivity of any State-controlled leftist newspaper, or Christian-collaboating, right of center or so-called right-wing news source, such as the Jerusalem Post or Arutz 7.

And this report is no exception. Clearly Yedioth Aharonoth [YNET]'s mouth waters over every opportunity to condemn a rabbi, or bend over backwards in an attempt to make him look bad.

Yet, try as I may, I cannot find anything in this report with which I am able to disagree. This report does mention the feminist "orthodox" organization Kolech ("Your Voice"). And, although I cannot disagree with this organizations comments either. Even a broken clock is right once or twice a day, depending on the kind of clock, and in which country you happen to be at the time. I absolutely no reason why Kolech was quoted over another organization, other than YNET's agenda to provide it with publicity at any and every possible opportunity.

In conclusion, I would like to suggest to Rabbi Druckman that during this month of Ellul, the month before Rosh HaShannah and Yom HaKippurim, he reflect upon his public statements and actions, and do teshuvah (penance) for them,...publicly.

Haveil Havalim #378: Welcome to 5773!

Boy, was I pleasantly surprised to find that I would be hosting Haveil Havalim this week.  As I write this introduction after Shabbath, I will have an extra hour work on it.  Because in Israel, we are changing back to standard time already.

The mnemonic device many of us learned as kids was...

"Fall back, spring forward."

So, this change gives us an extra hour, so to speak, to catch up on everything we need to catch up on.  It's only an hour, but I'll take it!

This year is תשע"ג.  I have seen some standard ones, and some highly politically-incorrect ones.  For this edition of Haveil Havalim, I would like to provide you with the positive and upbeat one I came up with:

תהא שנת עליה גדולה

It should be a Year of a Great Aliyah!

Oh, you can play with this, if you want.  Take the word aliyah, and apply it to your spiritual growth, your salary, or any other goal.  But, the meaning I intended here is...

"Get on the plane!"

How many times have you complained about a salesperson, a company, a radio station, or anyone or anything?

The coach of your favorite sports team perhaps?  The weatherman for "getting it wrong" maybe?
How often have you made the call, waited on hold for an hour, or wrote that letter in order to make certain that your complaint was heard and acknowledged, so that you could obtain justice, or simply feel vindicated?

Now, how many times have you got to the same lengths and efforts to compliment someone on a job well done, or for going the extra yard to help you investigate and solve a difficult situation?

What about just taking the extra minute to go over to a store manager to say that you enjoy shopping there?

Do you take at least half the time to say or do something positive for those who have helped you, that you take when complaining to make yourself feel better over some harm that you believe you have incurred?

Well, then, here is my challenge.

Before Rosh HaShannah, do one thing, just one thing which helps another person.

You can either say something positive about someone to his boss, or do something nice for total strangers (*with their permission, of course!).

I, myself, finally called the supervisor of some people who have been very helpful to the company where I work.  Maybe tomorrow, I will do it again.

Sounds simple, doesn't it?  We're generally nice people, aren't we?  How many times have we thought, "Gee, that person was helpful.  I really should tell her supervisor," but never ended up following through?

I have done this a thousand times, at least.  But, now, I've only done it a thousand times minus one.
