דובר הכנסייה הקתולית בישראל, עורך דין פריד ג'ובראן, התייחס באולפן ynet לתיעוד שבו נראה חייל צה"ל מנתץ פסל של ישו בדרום לבנון. הוא אמר: "התפללתי שזה לא אמיתי. האגרסיביות שבתמונה ומה שנובע מהתיעוד הוא מאוד חמור ומטריד. יש דברים שלא עושים - זה היה ממש מקומם". הוא הוסיף כי מדובר ב"חינוך לקוי של הכשרה של לוחמים וחיילים בשטח. כשפוגעים לך במשהו שהוא בנימי נפשך, אי אפשר להישאר אדיש". ג'ובראן הבהיר שהוא מצפה שצה"ל יגנה את האירוע וציין כי החייל אמור להיענש.

רק רגע. האם הם משווים "חילול פסל ישו" עם "חילול שם"? מה הם אומרים בדיוק?

אם הם פשוט אומרים שמעשה זה "חילול השם" מפני שהוא מעצבן ומרגיז 30 אחוז מאוכלוסיית כדור הארץ שלנו, אז הם צריכים לפטר את עורך החדשות ולחפש עורך חדש.

מייסד Israel365, הרב טולי וייס, שארגונו עובד מדי יום עם נוצרים פרו-ישראלים ברחבי העולם, אמר שהוא מרגיש מחויב לפעול באופן מיידי. "כמי שעובד בשיתוף פעולה הדוק עם נוצרים פרו-ישראלים מדי יום, נחרדתי ממעשה חוסר כבוד שכזה כלפי חבריה הקרובים של ישראל וידעתי שעלינו להגיב באופן מיידי."

כלומר, הוא נחרד מהשמדת פסל של עבודה זרה? יש אפילו אוונגליסטים שמזלזלים בפסלים. נכון, אפשר לומר אותנו חיים במתב של "יד הגויים תקיפה", תחת איום מצד לא יהודים, אפילו שאנחנו מתגוררים בארץ.

היה אפשר להפחית את כוח האיום הזה בעבר, אם שמרנו את המצווה הזו:

לֹא-תַטֶּה מִשְׁפָּט, לֹא תַכִּיר פָּנִים; וְלֹא-תִקַּח שֹׁחַד--כִּי הַשֹּׁחַד יְעַוֵּר עֵינֵי חֲכָמִים, וִיסַלֵּף דִּבְרֵי צַדִּיקִם. (דברים טז,יט)

לֹא תַכִּיר פָּנִים: לא לכבד אחד שעומד לפניך יותר מהשני.

רש״י: משקבל שחד ממנו אי אפשר שלא יטה את לבו אצלו להפוך בזכותו.

פסוק זה מדבר על שופטים, על חכמים ועל צדיקים. לכן, אלו שאינם יושבים בדין צריכים להזהר עוד יותר.

הם בוודאי נואשים, שכן הם כוללים את כנסת הרבנים (התנועה הקונסרבטיבית) בישראל, את התנועה המסורתית (התנועה הקונסרבטיבית) בישראל, כמה בתי כנסת קונסרבטיביים ואת הרפורמים.

למעשה, הם קוראים למנהיגים רוחניים קונסרבטיביים ורפורמיים "רבנים". אני תוהה למה הם השמיטו את הריקונסטרוקציוניסטים. האם בסופו של דבר מעריצי נוצרים הללו יעודדו את קבלת נשים כרבנים? או שהם פשוט מנצלים את מי שאפשר לגייס למען מטרתם?

לקונסרבטיבים ולרפורמים יש תירוץ. הם גלובליסטים בעצם, ומעודדים את ההתבוללות, בין אם הם מבינים שזה מה הם עושים ובין אם לא. הם דוגמאות טובות של מה קורה בגלותנו של אדום (עשיו / המערב). לכן, הם מונחים על ידי רגשותיהם. הם נמצאים עמוק בחשיבה גלותית, בניגוד להבנה האמיתית של גאולה. אפשר לומר שהם כתינוקות שנשבו.

אני מניח שגם "לדתיים" ברשימת החותמים הזו יש תירוץ. אבל רק לאלה שמתגוררים בגלות. כל עוד הם בגלות, כלומר, בחו״ל, אין להם ברירה אלא להסתדר עם מארחיהם הנכרים. אבל אני לא בטוח שהם מבדילים בין מקום מגוריהם בחו״ל לבין ארץ ישראל.

לצערנו, רבים מהם לא מתיחסים לשכנים הגויים שלהם כמארחים בארצות המקלט הזמניות. אלא כשותפים בבניית מדינות אלה. הם מזדהים כחברים בחברה שלהם. הם מאמינים שהמדינות האלה גם שלהם.

יותר גרוע מכך, יש רבנים "דתיים" ברשימה זו ששוכחים שהם בגלות, או שגלות היא משהו שונה מאוד ממה שהיא באמת, או שמבחינתם גלותם לא באמת העונש.

אלה שלא ברשימה זו, ומאמינים שהמשיח יבוא וידאג להכל שזקוק לתיקון, אני לא מדבר עליכם. אלא אני מתייחס לאלה שמזדהים כציונים, אך אין להם שום כוונה לעלות למולדתם האמיתית היחידה.

בכל פעם שאני חושב שיהודים האלה כבר השתגעו כמה שאפשר הם מפתיעים אותי בכך שהם מוצאים דרך להשתגע עוד. כלומר. השקפתם הופכת להיות יותר קיצונית.

רבנים אלה בוודאי יודעים שהמילים האלה בספר ויקרא (יט,יח) הן רק חלק הסופי של הפסוק...

...וְאָהַבְתָּ לְרֵעֲךָ כָּמוֹךָ: אֲנִי, יְהוָה....

הפסוק מתחיל ב...

לֹא-תִקֹּם וְלֹא-תִטֹּר אֶת-בְּנֵי עַמֶּךָ,...

עַמֶּךָ: עם ישראל.

כלומר, פסוק זה מורה לישראל איך אנחנו אמורים להתייחס אחד לשני, איך עלינו להתייחס לאחינו היהודים. איך אנחנו צריכים להתייחס לגויים זו סוגיה שונה לגמרי.

"פרשנות יצירתית" כזו היא מה שאנו מצפים מתנועה הרפורמית, כפי שהיא ידועה בכך שצועקת ״צֶדֶק צֶדֶק, תִּרְדֹּף״ (דברים טז,כ), ללא הקשר שאר הפסוק ״לְמַעַן תִּחְיֶה וְיָרַשְׁתָּ אֶת־הָאָרֶץ, אֲשֶׁר־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לָךְ.״. וגם רבים מהם מאמינים שכל פעם המילה גֵּר מופיעה תורה היא אומרת גוי.

כמובן, רבים היהודים שאוהבים את הנוצרים, מאמינים ש"כִּי בֵיתִי, בֵּית־תְּפִלָּה יִקָּרֵא לְכָל־הָעַמִּים" (ישעיהו נו,ז) אומרת לנו שבסדר גמור לעודד לנכרים לעלות להר הבית, בידיעה ברורה שהם יתפללו ליש״ו (ימח שמו וזכרו). אולי כדאי לי לדון ביהודים האלה בכף זכות, ולהניח שהם פספסו את העדות שחבריהם הנוצרים לא מתפללים לאלוהים בשיתוף אל ליושקה (יש״ו) ישירות.

בהחלט, אני לא מעודד אף אחד להסתובב ולהרוס את פסלי אלוהות-שקר של אף מיעוט דתי, בגלל מסיבות שונות. 

אבל, אני מסרב לשבת בשקט ולא קורא לילד בשמו האמיתי.

כִּי-אִם-כֹּה תַעֲשׂוּ, לָהֶם--מִזְבְּחֹתֵיהֶם תִּתֹּצוּ, וּמַצֵּבֹתָם תְּשַׁבֵּרוּ; וַאֲשֵׁירֵהֶם, תְּגַדֵּעוּן, וּפְסִילֵיהֶם, תִּשְׂרְפוּן בָּאֵשׁ.(דברים ז,ה)

But thus you shall deal with them: you shall break down their altars, and dash their pillars in pieces, and hew down their Asherim, and burn their graven images with fire. (Deut. 7:5)

The spokesman for the Catholic Church in Israel, attorney Wadie Abunassar, addressed the footage showing an IDF soldier smashing a statue of Jesus in southern Lebanon in the Ynet studio. He said: "I prayed it wasn't real. The aggression in the image and what emerges from the footage is very severe and disturbing. There are things you don't do – this was truly revolting." He added that this is about "poor education and training of fighters and soldiers in the field. When something that is in the depths of your soul is harmed, you cannot remain indifferent." Abunassar clarified that he expects the IDF to condemn the incident and noted that the soldier should be punished.

Over 100 rabbis and Jewish leaders from across the denominational spectrum sign letter calling the act a “desecration of God’s name” and apologizing to Christians worldwide

What a minute. Are they equating "desecration of Jesus statue" with “desecration of God’s name?” What exactly are they suggesting?

If they are just saying it is a “desecration of God’s name” because of the uproar caused, upsetting 30 percent of the our planet's population, then they need to fire their news editor, and get a new one.

Here is a sampling of the signatories to the letter:

And last but not least...

• Rabbi Tuly Weisz, Israel365

Israel365 founder Rabbi Tuly Weisz, whose organization works daily with pro-Israel Christians around the world, said he felt compelled to act immediately. “As someone who works closely with pro-Israel Christians every day, I was appalled by such an act of disrespect to Israel’s closest friends and knew that we needed to respond immediately.”

In other words, he was appalled at the destruction of an idol. Hey. There are even Evangelicals frown upon statuary. True, we could be classified as living in a time of יד הגויים תקיפה, under threat from non-Jews, even while in Israel.

This threat could be lessened, albeit probably not erased entirely, if we heeded another verse in Torah:

לֹא-תַטֶּה מִשְׁפָּט, לֹא תַכִּיר פָּנִים; וְלֹא-תִקַּח שֹׁחַד--כִּי הַשֹּׁחַד יְעַוֵּר עֵינֵי חֲכָמִים, וִיסַלֵּף דִּבְרֵי צַדִּיקִם. (דברים טז,יט)

You shall not wrest judgment; you shalt not respect persons; neither shall you take a gift; for a gift does blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous. (Deut. 16:19)

Respect persons = one over another.

Gift = bribe.

Rashi: When one receives a bribe from him, it is impossible not to incline one's heart to turn to him in his favor.

This verse refers to judges, the wise, and the righteous. So, those who are not sitting in judgment should be even more careful.

They must really be desperate, since they include the Rabbinical Assembly (Conservative Movement) in Israel, the Masorti (Conservative) Movement in Israel, some Conservative Synagogues, and the Reform.

In fact, they refer to Conservative and Reform spiritual leaders as "rabbis." I wonder why they left out the Reconstructionists. Will these Judeo-Christians be advocating for female rabbis next? Or are they just exploiting whomever, and whatever resources they can enlist?

The Conservatives and Reform have an excuse. They are essentially globalists, and advocates for assimilation, whether they realize it or not. They are true products of our Exile in Edom (Esau / The West). So, they really cannot know any better. They are guided by their feelings. They are steeped in an exilic mindset, resistant to the true understanding of Geulah (Redemption).

I suppose that the "orthodox" individuals on this list of signatories also have an excuse, but only those residing in exile. As long as they are in exile, they have to get along with their non-Jewish hosts. I cannot be certain, though, that they differentiate between where they live and Israel.

Unfortunately, many of them do not see non-Jews as their hosts, while in their countries of our temporary refuge. Rather they see themselves as their partners in building up those countries. They seem themselves as full members of these non-Jewish societies. They see these countries as their own.

Worse yet, there are those "orthodox" rabbis on this list either forgotten that they are in exile, or that exile is something very different than it really is, or that their exile is not really the punishment.

Those who are not on this list, and who believe that Mashi'ah (Messiah) will come and take care of everything, I am not talking about you. I am mostly referring to those identifying themselves as Zionists, yet who would never think to relocate to their only true homeland.

Every time I think the usual suspects cannot go further off the edge, they surprise me by finding a way to go that extra few inches.

These rabbis surely know that these words from Lev. 19:18 only make up the end of the verse...

...וְאָהַבְתָּ לְרֵעֲךָ כָּמוֹךָ: אֲנִי, יְהוָה....

...but thou shalt love thy neighbor as yourself....

This verse actually begins...

לֹא-תִקֹּם וְלֹא-תִטֹּר אֶת-בְּנֵי עַמֶּךָ,...

You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people...

Your people = Israel.

In other words, this verse is referring to how Israel must relate to each other, how we are to relate to our fellow Jews. How we are to relate to non-Jews is a different issue entirely.

This is the kind of "creative interpretation," we have come to expect from the Reform Movement, as it well-known for doing to צֶדֶק צֶדֶק, תִּרְדֹּף Justice, justice, you shall pursue (Deut. 16:20), leaving off the rest of the verse, in order that you shall live, and inherit the land that the Lord your God has given you. Another example is that many of them believe that the word גֵּר stranger, signifies any non-Jew, anytime it appears in the Torah.

Of course, many of the Jewish, Christian-lovers believe that "House of Prayer for all nations" (Isaiah 56:7) means it is just fine to encourage non-Jews to ascend the Temple Mount, knowing full well that they will be praying to Jesus (may his name and memory be blotted out). Perhaps I should give them the benefit of the doubt, and assume they missed the memo regarding their Christian allies praying to Yoshke directly, and not through him as an intercessor.

For various reasons, I am certainly not encouraging anyone to go around destroying a religious minority's idols.

But, I refuse to sit silently, and not call a spade, a spade.

...בין המגנים את מעשי ישראל היום היה גם שר החוץ האיטלקי אנטוניו טאיאני, שביקש להביע הזדהות עם הפטריארך והקוסטוס: "לא מקובל שנמנע מהם להיכנס לכנסיית הקבר בירושלים. לראשונה, משטרת ישראל מנעה ממנהיגי הכנסייה הקתולית את האפשרות לחגוג את מיסת יום ראשון של הדקלים באחד המקומות הקדושים ביותר למיליוני מאמינים ברחבי העולם. הוריתי מיד לשגרירנו בישראל להביע את מחאת הממשלה בפני רשויות תל אביב ולאשר את עמדת איטליה בהגנה, בכל עת ובכל הנסיבות, על חופש הדת". שגריר גרמניה בישראל שטפן זייברט מסר כי "זה כואב לכל הנוצרים. הסולידריות שלנו עם הפטריארך והקוסטוס"....

עשר אגורות (2¢):
אז הנה המילים שאף אחד לא רוצה לומר בקול רם: בישראל לא אמור להיות חופש הדת.

אַבֵּד תְּאַבְּדוּן אֶת-כָּל-הַמְּקֹמוֹת אֲשֶׁר עָבְדוּ-שָׁם הַגּוֹיִם, אֲשֶׁר אַתֶּם יֹרְשִׁים אֹתָם--אֶת-אֱלֹהֵיהֶם: עַל-הֶהָרִים הָרָמִים וְעַל-הַגְּבָעוֹת, וְתַחַת כָּל-עֵץ רַעֲנָן. (דברים יב,ב)

*כל מי שטוען שמצווה זו מדברת אך ורק על שבעת עמי כנען, כלומר הכנעני, החתי, האמורי, החווי, הפרזי, היבוסי והגרגשי, מוזמן ללחוץ כאן ללמוד עוד עליה.

לא. אני לא מציע את הריסת כנסיות בישראל כיום. אני פשוט רושם דוגמה לחוסר הסובלנות של התורה כלפי דתות פרט לשמירת תורה ומצוות של היהדות בארץ ישראל, למרות האמונות הקסומות של יהודים הסובלים ממחלת תלות שותפית, שמתלהבים ומעריצים ו את האהבה ואישור הקיום שהם מקבלים מחבריהם הנוצרים לכאורה.

לאלו שאוהבים לצטט פסקי הלכה של המאירי ורבנו גרשון מחוץ להקשר, אני מזכיר לכם שכוונתם היא כלפי החיים והמסחר של היהודיים באירופה, כלומר, בגולה. בארץ ישראל המצב ואז יישום ההלכה שונה לגמרי.

בואו נשים את זה בצד בינתיים. ואם ברצונכם ללמוד על ההלכה בארץ ישראל אז ללחוץ כאן.

אפילו לרבנים רבים שמסכימים בסתר שהנצרות אינה כשרה, חסר האומץ להצהיר את הסיבה ההלכתית היחידה שמאפשרת לנוצרים להכנס לארץ ישראל ללא רסן: ש כיום אנו בזמן שיד הגויים תקיפה. ולכן אינם במצב שמאפשר לאכוף את כל המצוות התורה נגד לגבי עבודה זרה. (משנה תורה, הלכות עבודת זרה י, ט [ו]).

זה לא פוטר יהודים מלתמוך, ואף לעודד, נוצרים להתיישב בארץ ישראל, לבנות מזבחות ולעבוד אלוהות-שקר.

תפילה בשיתוף מותר לגויים, אתם טוענים? כל סוג של כפירה בתורה אינה מקובלת בארץ ישראל. וכשיגיע הזמן להציע להתיר לגויים להתגורר ארץ כגרי תושב, אז הם יצטרכו לקבל את האמת של כל התורה כולה.

ללחוץ כאן כדי להקשיב לנוצרי אחד, שמשפחתו נמצאת בארץ, מסביר כיצד הוא מתפלל ישירות למשיח השקר שלו.

אולי אנחנו צריכים לאסיר תודה על כך שמנעו את אירוע שנתי חשוב מאוד לגויים של העבודה הזרה וחילול השם... גם אם שלא התכוונו. אבל, רגע!

הרשויות מנעו את כניסת הפטריארך הלטיני של ירושלים לכנסיית הקבר בעיר, על מנת לקיים בה את תפילת "מיסת יום ראשון של הדקלים" - ומחאה התעוררה על כך בכנסייה הקתולית • "מתוך כוונה לאפשר לכלל העדות הנוצריות את חופש הפולחן בכנסיית הקבר", מסרה המשטרה, "אושר מתווה תפילה מצומצם" לידור סולטן, 30.03.2026

רה״מ נתניהו אפילו ניסה להסביר להם על המצב באופן הגיוני.

נתניהו אמר שהמקומות הקדושים בירושלים תחת איומים לאחרונה, וציין כי "במכה אחת, רסיסי רקטות התרסקו מטרים מכנסיית הקבר". המשטרה גם ציינה את "המציאות הביטחונית המורכבת של מבצע ׳אריה שואג׳", והוסיפה כי "טילים ופסולת איראניים פגעו בתוך העיר העתיקה".

רשויות הכנסייה תיארו את ההחלטה הראשונית כ"תקדים חמור", ואמרו שזו "הפעם הראשונה מזה מאות שנים" שאנשי דת בכירים נמנעו מלקיים מיסת* יום ראשון של הדקלים באתר. בהצהרה מאוחרת יותר, אמר הפטריארכיה כי הנושא "טופל ונפתר" והביע "תודה כנה" לנשיא יצחק הרצוג על מעורבותו. (i24)

הרצוג? אין כאן הפתעה. אומרים שאביו, הרב הראשי הראשון של ישראל, יצחק הלוי הרצוג, על כך אמר כי:

"אחת הסיבות לכך שהאו"ם נתן לנו רשות להקים את מדינת ישראל, היא שחובתנו לתת חופש לכל הדתות ולהגן על המקומות הקדושים של כל הדתות."

עם כל הכבוד לרב הראשי הראשון של ישראל, מאז מתי יש לגויים זכות להשתתף בדיוני הלכה?

אין הם.

האם השבע לנו האו"ם את ארץ ישראל, או השבע לנו הקב"ה את ארץ ישראל?

This does not excuse Jews from supporting, even encouraging, Christians to settle in the Land of Israel, build altars, and worship.

Praying through an intercessor is acceptable for non-Jews, you say? Any form of kefirah (denial of Torah) is unacceptable within the Land of Israel. And when the time comes to offer non-Jews the opportunity to reside here as gerei toshav (resident aliens), they will have to accept the truth of the entire Torah.

"One of the reasons the UN gave us permission to establish the state of Israel, was our duty to give freedom to all religions and to protect the holy sites of all religions."

With all due respect to Israel's first Chief Rabbi, since when are non-Jews involved in discussions of halakha (Torah Law)?

They are not.

Did the UN grant us the Land of Israel, or did The Holy One, Blessed Be He?

I have never understood why Jews wish non-Jews happiness or blessings on their holidays in Israel. Do they realize what it is they are supporting when they do so? Do they actually believe that the literary figure of Yesh"u (Yoshke), and that he was resurrected after death? Do they actually believe that Muhammed divinely received the Quran? Do they realize that beliefs in such events directly contradict the Torah?

I am not so sure that they do.

Now, "freedom of religious expression for all," now that's an easy one to understand. Propping up such freedom, helps to insure that the Erev Rav and its minions can to do whatever it wants, and proceed on the path of achieving its objectives: the battle against the Torah, and the destruction of the Jewish People through assimilation, intermarriage, and sacrifices to war.

I knew there was a reason for the timing of the release of the movie Conclave, a thriller centered around the Vatican's process of selecting a new pope.

Coincidence? Or were they expecting the death of the 88 year old pope in ill health, sooner than later. This pope's views were, at times, considered controversial by Catholics. I will let the conservative and liberal Catholics discuss amongst themselves about that.

Here I will address the leader of the Catholic Church, as he relates to Israel.

Following the last consistory in December 2024, [liberal] Pope Francis created 21 new cardinals, while 23 were created by [very conservative] Pope Benedict XVI and five by [conservative] Pope John Paul II.

Pope Francis created cardinals from 72 different countries, and 24 of those nations have never had a cardinal before. (Sky News) With the new additions, the pope will have created 110 of the 140 cardinals under the age of 80 permitted to choose his successor. (Deutche Welle)

So, did Francis only appoint those sharing his vision for the Catholic Church? If so, anyone of his ilk would have a huge advantage.

Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Italian, Vatican diplomat, 70.
A punters' favourite, Parolin is seen as a compromise candidate between progressives and conservatives. He has been a Church diplomat for most of his life and served as Pope Francis' secretary of state since 2013, the year Francis was elected. (Reuters)

Not sure how they can say that he is a compromise candidate, when Sky News reports that he as a close ally of the dead pope.

Jean-Marc Aveline, archbishop of Marseille, French, aged 66.
Aveline is known for his folksy, easy-going nature, his readiness to crack jokes, and his ideological proximity to Francis, especially on immigration and relations with the Muslim world.

He would also be the youngest pope since John Paul II (Reuters).

OK. So, he's a globalist. Well, all representatives of The Vatican are globalists. Isn't that the ultimate goal? Making everyone in the world Catholic? Maybe they'll leave the Eastern Orthodox factions alone... for now. Nevertheless, they believe they are bearers of the truth, and are on a mission, just like the Evangelical Christians.

The College of Cardinals does not really care for popes on the young side. If they do not like his vision and associated changes he makes to Church policy, they will have to suffer all the longer. Funny, isn't the pope considered to be infallible, or at least he makes statement ex cathedra (from the throne).

Don't you love Latin phrases? They remind me of , But more importantly, it should remind us of our current, and אי״ה (if The Almighty pleases), our last, exile, the exile of Edom (Esau / Rome). Too bad more Jews cannot take the hint.

The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem was made a cardinal by Pope Francis two years ago.

He has devoted himself to the Middle East, facing several crises, including the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

On 16 October 2023, he condemned Hamas' actions as barbaric and offered himself as a hostage in exchange for captive Israeli children held in Gaza during the 2023 Israel–Hamas war.

OK. But...

Pizzaballa has advocated for an end to the 2023 Israel–Hamas War and the Israeli occupation of Palestine. Pizzaballa was a signatory to the "Statement on the Escalating Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza" which condemned attacks on civilians, called for de-escalation and called for humanitarian aid to enter Gaza. His statement was criticized by Israeli foreign minister Eli Cohen.

Did he call on citizens to stop collaborating with Hamas? did he call on citizens to report on Hamas taking the humanitarian aid meant for them?

Of course, Pizzaballa knows the Bible, and so he knows that the Land of Israel was divinely promised to the People of Israel, and not to Ishmael and his descendants (Arabs / Muslims).

So, that was then, this is now? Well, it would not be the first time Christians changed the rules and understanding of the Bible, beginning around 2,000 years ago, and thanks to none other than... Jews. These Jews rejected the authority of the Oral Torah. You know, like the Sadducees before them, then the  Karaites, the Reform Movement, etc.

The Sanhedrin under the leadership of Raban Gamliel even added a blessing to our Amidah, our standing prayer that we pray three times a day on regular weekdays, in which we refer to them as minim (heretics), malshinim (informers, as in rats), or meshumadim (apostates). Of course, we also condemn them in this prayer.

Christians believe that they are the true inheritors of The Almighty's favor, and thus the Land of Israel as well. They believe that their false deity/messiah will come and sort everything out for them. So, what do they care who currently has control of the Land? Better to go with the politically-correct, terrorists, in the meantime.

Sure, Jews are exempt from doing anything about this outside of the Land of Israel (A-hem!), and today probably even within Israel. But are we still in the position where we have to console the millions of followers of a false deity?

The Orthodox Union appears to answer this question for us. And the answer is yes.

אני גדלתי בשכונה במחוז סן דייגו, קליפורניה שבה היו כמה איטלקים ופורטוגזים, אבל בעיקר אירים. הם יכלו להזדהות איתנו על מה שקרה אבל לא במאה אחוז.

ולכן, יש לי קצת בעיה עם הסרטון הזה. הוא נותן ליהודי ארה״ב תחושת תקווה כוזבת.

The video above was aired during the Super Bowl on Sunday.

In the 1980s, the same thing happened to my family. We found a swastika painted on our driveway next to the word Jew. The police came out to take a report, and told us that this was not just some kids being stupid. The street light had been knocked out, presumably to help them stay hidden while painting. My mother insisted that we not paint over it, until every neighbor on our street had come by to see it.

I grew up in a primarily Catholic neighborhood in San Diego County, CA. There a few Italians and Portuguese, but mosly Irish. To a degree they could relate... to a degree.

And so, I take some issue with this commercial, and the false sense of hope is gives Jews.

Jews just need to get out of the U. S. already. I hope this widely seen commercial does not keep too many Jews in denial, nor in the hope that their non-Jewish neighbors will save them. This is no different than when we were welcomed by certain countries after our expulsion from Spain and Portugal. It was only a matter of time, before the residents of our new countries were to turn on us.

It is a grave error to believe that the U. S. is any different.

The denial, complacency, and dare I say complicity of the Jews in the U. S. and elsewhere only delays their departure for their only true homeland, the Land of Israel.

יש אומרים שקבלת מיכאל ״מייק״ פנס כמועמד סגן הנשיא היתה הפשרה עם חברי השמרנים של מפלגת הרפובליקנים בכדי שהם גם יתמכו בטראמפ כהמועמד לנשיא.

יש גם אומרים שקבלת מייק פנס כמועמד סגן הנשיא היתה האסטרטגיה של טראמפ מטעם ״שמור את חבריך קרוב ואת אויביך קרוב יותר.״ (אומנות המלחמה ע״י סון צו)

דרך אגב, אני אשמח ללמוד למה סגן הנשיא פנס ביטל את הטיול שלו לארץ. הוא התכוון לנסוע ארצה אחרי שמאשרים את הצבעת האלקטורים (הנבחרים ע״י תושבי המדינות שבארה״ב להצביע לנשיא באופן רשמי) ולחזור לארה״ב בזמן להגיע להשבעת נשיא החדש ב-20 לינואר, 2021.

האם ביטול הטיול בגלל הבלגן הקיים בוושינגטן, עיר הבירת של ארה״ב? זה הגיוני לחשוב ככה, נכון?

או אולי הנשיא טראמפ לא רצה שסגן הנשיא ייכנס ויתערב בעניינים של ישראל ואזור מזרח התיכון בכלל?

Leading up to the impeachment of of President Trump, I already told you exactly who Vice-President Michael Pence really is: Many believe him to be a Dominionist, just like Sen. Ted Cruz's (R-TX) father and former Gov. Sara Palin (R-AK).

Clearly, the Vice-President has been getting the best publicity of anyone in Washington, these days. It is also clear that Vice President Pence has been receiving praise from Democrats, solely due to their hatred of President Trump. Even so, and even though the Vice President is actually more conservative than the President, who, in my opinion, is more of a Libertarian, I believe he is already preparing to run in the 2024 Presidential Election. Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, and converted Catholic (like former UK PM Tony Blair), Newt Gingrich has already come out to state that Vice-President Pence would be the best best candidate for the Republican Party. 

Speaking of Dominionists, I don't know if Gingrich's wife Karen Gingrich identifies as one or not, but she does happen to be the current U. S. Ambassador to The Vatican. President Trump appointed her to the post in 2017. Food for thought.

Now, some say that accepting Mike Pence as Trump's running mate was a compromise with conservative members of the Republican Party, so that they would also support him for president, and not just stay home.

Others say that accepting Mike Pence as Trump's running mate was Trump employing the strategy of "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer." The Art of War by Sun Tzu (My source for this prefers not to be associated with this blog.)

By the way, I would love to learn why Vice-President Pence canceled his trip to Israel. He intended to travel to Israel after certification of the Electoral College vote on January 6, and then return to the U. S. in time for the inauguration of the President (whoever that might end up being) on January 20, 2021.

Was the trip canceled because of the current mess in Washington? It makes sense to think that's the reason, right?

Or maybe President Trump did not want to risk the Vice-President sticking his nose into Israel's affairs and those of the Middle East in general.

"Peace Faith Tolerance" - for everyone except Jews, that is!

So far, it appears that the head of the Roman Catholic church, ysh"w, will be coming to Jerusalem tomorrow, not only to disrupt the daily lives of its residents, but to insult us, step on us, encourage the establishment of another Yishmaelite, terrorist state (which he, himself, should know is absent from the Bible)., and possibly prepare to take possession of pieces of our Holy Land.

Do you really think that he, and his minions, have their eyes set only on one floor in one building on Mt. Zion? Guess again....

They want the Temple Mount; they want Jerusalem; they envision everyone in Israel, and around the entire world, under their eventual control.

Worse yet, the Israeli government has been complicit in these endeavors, including allowing him to practice his avodah zarah (foreign/forbidden worship) as the Kothel (Western Wall), while closing off this Jewish Holy site,...to Jews!

Not only that, but the Israeli Government has been shamelessly slobbering over this Prince of Avodah Zarah, and exploiting his visit as support for the government's commitment to "freedom of religious expression." Even though as far as religions go, other than Judaism and the gentile keepers of the 7 Commandments of No'ah, there is absolutely no room for "freedom of religious expression" within the Land of Israel. Such a concept does not exist in the Torah. In fact, it is the exact opposite case scenario which the Torah presents to commands of us.

So, why the hell is this walking, spiritual pollutant being allowed into the Land of Israel, let alone welcomed as an honored guest?

Visit of Pope Francis - Traffic and Parking Arrangements

On Sunday-Monday, May 25-26, 2014, extensive security measures will be taken that will affect daily life and movement in Jerusalem.

Changes in traffic and parking arrangements:

No parking will be allowed from Sunday, May 25, 2014, 12:00 noon, until Monday, May 26, 2014, 8:00 p.m., on the following streets:

Chaim Yassky, Aharon Katzir, Yitzhak HaNadiv, Derech HaOfel, Ma'ale HaShalom, Hativat Yerushalayim, Yitzhak Kariv, Agron, Gaza Road, Herzog, Zalman Shneor, Shmuel Bait, Betzalel Bazak, Herzl (from Shmuel Bait to Yad VaShem), King George (from Smolenskin to Kakal), Arlozorov, Hanassi, Shlomo HaMelech, Hativat Hatzanhanim, Jaffa Road (from Kikar Tzahal (IDF Square) to Hativat Yerushalayim), Rabaa al-Adawiya, Martin Buber in the direction of the A-Tor neighborhood, Shmuel ben Adaya, Rockefeller Junction, Jericho Road

Any car parked on these streets will be towed by the police to the Gan HaPaamon or Givat HaTachmoshet parking lots. 

Holders of parking permits for Area 8 (Talbiya) will be permitted to park in Area 7 (Rehavia) during the days of the visit.

The Jerusalem Light Rail
The Jerusalem Light Rail will operate normally, except when the motorcade passes near or cuts across the track.

Public transportation
Disruptions are expected on public transport lines throughout the city. For details call *8787.

Sites that will be closed from the morning
The Western Wall Plaza will be for the visitors closed on Monday, May 26, 2014, until 10:30 a.m.

Jews will not be allowed to pray at one of their Holiest sites, so that the Prince of Avodan Zarah can pray to his false deity!

Transport for worshipers at the Western Wall will depart from the Karta parking lot between 5:00-5:30 a.m. and will return from the Western Wall between 6:15-6:30 a.m.

Access for the prayer at the Western Wall during the visit will be allowed from HaShalshelet and HaGai Streets.

Mt. Herzl and Yad VaShem will be closed to visitors on Monday, May 26, 2014, until 12:00 noon.

Updates on traffic arrangements and street closure times will be reported in the media and can also be obtained from the Information Center.

Christian Enlistment in the IDF: What the News did not tell you.

Just when you thought you knew the details of the various Christian threats to Israel, this piece surfaces to remind us that there is always another surprise around the corner with these descendants, spiritual or otherwise, of Ya'aqov's nasty brother Esau.

Although there are only some 300 Christian Arabs serving in the Israel Defense Forces, 84 reportedly signed up in the last half of 2013 - three times the average rate.

The past six months have seen a significant rise in the number of Arab Christians joining the Israel Defense Forces, although their number is still minuscule. The actions of people within the Arab Christian community to integrate their members into Israeli society may be behind the rise – actions that raise the ire of many others, who believe that army service is intended to strike a blow at Palestinian unity. When Arutz 7 reworded and reported this piece, which it often does, it left out the word "Arab." Doubtful that Arutz 7 would the increasing number of Christians enlisting in the Israeli Defense Forces [IDF] from foreign countries, such as the U. S., in a negative light, I clicked on the report anyway.

Sure enough, the title of its version left out the word "Arab."

Israel has a two-front, if not three-front battle with Christians:

1. Christians from the U. S., continue to search for ways to khop land, believing that they are entitled to it, for one reason or another. Volunteering to serve in the IDF has been used to boost a Christians application for Israeli citizenship in the future. Yep! The Israeli Government grants such dispensations, while Jews in the Ukraine rot, because they cannot afford the cost of a train ticket to Kiev or Harkov, in order to process their applications for aliyah (immigration to Israel) assistance.

2. Arab Orthodox Christians, who want to assimilate into what this piece mentions, Zionist melting pot of Israeli society. They next thing you know "Yossi" from a Christian village, whose Hebrew is flawless is dating "Rachel" from the U. S. during her year of study abroad at an Israeli university. "Rachel's" parents support Israel, and although not religious, are against intermarriage. They thought their daughter would be safe from at least this threat of residing in galuth (exile) while studying in Israel. Little did they know, "Yossi" would be studying there with her.

3. This brings us to the third threat, a recurring threat we have experienced throughout history, from the Vatican. Not only does the Vatican wants to buy up chunks of Jewish lands, either by laying historical claim to them, or simply buying up whatever Shimon Peres is willing to auction off to them. After all what does he care about Eretz Yisra'el (the Land of Israel)? One of the signs of Erev Rav, is it lack of connection to Eretz Yisra'el, and its forsaking of it. You do the math.

And now, this report in Ha'aretz reminds us of another front in the Vatican's battle with Am Yisra'el for the crown of David"

...Leaders of the Catholic Church in Israel have recently published a statement against youngsters from their community joining the army. They say Christians are being encouraged to join the army to bring them “into the Zionist melting pot of Israeli society to create a unified national Zionist narrative,” which will lead to a loss of their Arab-Palestinian identity. “This goes against all human values and the national Palestinian conscience,” the statement said...

Such rhetoric from Arab Catholics continues to amaze me. Aren't they supposed to believe in the truth of the Tana"kh (Torah, Prophets, Writings)? The Tana"kh could not be clearer as to whom the Land belongs. Even if these Catholics hold to one of the Christian philosophies that they have taken on the role as The Almighty's Chosen (God Forbid!), and thus are the inheritors of the Land, that still leaves out the Muslims, who are well know to harass their Christian "brethren,..." often.

So, perhaps they are being dishonest, by omitting the tiny piece of information that Islam flies in the face of Christianity, even more than Judaism does. Nevertheless, just like the Arab Christians, and the various Christian groups from abroad, they are following their own respective doctrines, however counter to Torah they all are.

I wish that the so-called Jewish State would do the same, by following Jewish Law (ie. halakhah/Torah Law), and disallow their enlistment.

Even the ger toshav, the "good non-Jew" who fully accepts the Torah, and rejects all forms of worship contradictory to it, such as worshiping or revering a false deity, messiah, intercessor, or whatever they are calling Yoshke these days, maybe allowed to reside in Eretz Yisra'el, but with limitations, so as not to be able to have any influence over Jews (Mishneh Torah, Hil. A"Z 10:4).

So, קל וחומר, those who do not fully accept the Torah as the only truth, and who do not reject these forbidden forms of worship should be kept away from us even farther (Mishneh Torah, Hil. A"Z 10:9).

A Divided Jerusalem: How Do You Slice It?

So, how DO the Powers That Be intend to divide up Jerusalem, and render this Holy City away from the Jewish People? Why don't Jews appear to be fighting nearly enough to hold onto this precious possession?

...In an interview with Palestinian magazine Tariq, PLO's Abed Rabbo said that Kerry's plan includes security arrangements that would unfold over many years. These security measures would be joined by criteria that would depend on the improvement of the Palestinian security establishment. Israel would be the one to examine and decide whether the Palestinian security performance is adequate or not.

However, the US will take part and be present in the evaluation of the Palestinian Authority's security establishment so that Israel would withdraw and evacuate some of the areas in the West Bank, including the Jordan Valley. In addition, Israel would have security arrangements in mountain tops and in the skies. Israel would also maintain the right to perform live chases within the Palestinian country's territory if any threat dictates the need to do so. 

He stressed that these ideas were completely unacceptable by the Palestinian leadership. Abed Rabbo argued that according to the Israeli perception, the large settlements that are not in settlement blocs should still be considered as part of them. He said that the Palestinians heard Israel is interested in either long-term leasing of what is left in the non-bloc settlements or to keep these settlements within the Palestinian country, along with maintaining the Israeli citizenship of those who reside there. Arutz 7: ‘Govt. to Split Jerusalem – Where are the Rabbis?’
Rabbi Yisrael Ariel wonders at fellow rabbis’ silence over plan to give away Jerusalem holy sites.

The government is planning to cede several sites in ancient Jerusalem to Muslim and Christian ownership, and Israel’s rabbis remain silent, Rabbi Yisrael Ariel has accused. 

“There is a terrible plan, called the ‘holy basin,’ to split Jerusalem between Christians, Muslims and Jews,” Rabbi Ariel said, speaking to Arutz Sheva. 

Rabbi Ariel, who heads the Temple Institute, continued, “The Christians will get the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Mount Zion, the Muslims will get the Temple Mount, and we Jews will need to visit the Kotel (Western Wall) under the auspices of the Palestinian Authority...” 

...Even if Jewish worship at the Kotel were to continue freely, the loss of access to the Temple Mount would be highly significant. The Temple Mount is the holiest site on earth according to Judaism, and is the place where the First Temple and Second Temple once stood.

The plan to split Jerusalem’s holy sites between various religions “has existed for some time, and now they’re going to implement it in stages,” Rabbi Ariel warned, adding, “During the Pope’s next visit they plan to transfer the Cenacle on Mount Zion to him, turning it into a pilgrimage site.” 

He criticized Israel’s rabbis, including the Chief Rabbis, for their silence. “Not long ago they gave the Russian Compound to Russia, now the Christians are restoring a church – unused until now – on the Mount of Olives, and thus they slowly sell Jerusalem, and nobody raises their voice in protest,” he charged. 

“Where is the Chief Rabbinate? They’re going to take the heart of Jerusalem and make it a Christian center,” he continued. 

“Remember Rabbi Nissim. When the Pope came to visit fifty years ago, he insisted that if the Pope wanted to meet him he could come to his office in Jerusalem, he would not go greet him,” Rabbi Ariel recalled. 

He accused his fellow rabbis of focusing on “price tag” vandalism of Arab property rather than the future of Jerusalem. “Three hundred rabbis spoke out against ‘price tag.’ Is this what you’ve found to get involved with, is this what pains you? 

“Instead of meeting with the Prime Minister to protest the sale of Jerusalem, you’re speaking out against a handful of youths who burned a rug,” he accused.

Rabbi Yisra'el Ariel 

Rabbi Yisra'el Ariel is one of the few rabbis, hakhamim (scholars) rather, who openly defies the Israeli Government when it stands in defiance of the Torah. He has sat in jail several times, because of such principles, as well.

His beth hadin (rabbinic court) has openly declared that any sale, or handing over for free, of Jewish land, is null and void. After all, it is not for us to make such decisions; they are only for The Alimighty.

We do what we are supposed to, and that includes fighting for His precious gift of a Homeland, and then He decides whether we are to keep it or not. Of course, in the end, He will have compassion on us, and grant us all of our due,...even in spite of Esau and Yishma'el, and the Erev Rav which stands between the two.

How could I possibly say it any better than Rabbi Yisra'el Ariel?!

Israel And The Vatican: Give But No Take

This was going around Facebook. Like many, I thought it was cute, differences between the nine-branched Hanukkah menorah and the seven-branched Beth HaMiqdash (Temple) Menorah aside.

The added sarcastic, yet excellent, caption refers to the belief that the Vatican has many of our Temple vessels hidden away someplace, having "acquired" them from the preceding empires and powers that be.

Jerusalem Rabbi Yonatan Shtencel has at least been making an effort to raise awareness about the issue of the missing Temple vessels, asking the ambassador from the Vatican to Israel, to hand a letter to the Pope, requesting their return. The Ambassador responded that the Vatican does not have them, and, in my humble opinion, appeared to scold Rabbi Shtencel for his suspicion.

Unfortunately, it does not appear that requesting the return of the Temple vessels will be in the forefront of Prime Minister Netanyahu's mind, during this meeting.

...When the two meet on Monday, they are likely to discuss the Iranian nuclear issue and the ongoing peace talks with the Palestinians. 

And they are also expected to discuss the pope’s planned visit to the Holy Land early next year. 

Pope Francis has already been invited to visit the Christian holy sites by Israeli President Shimon Peres in April, and by Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas, who met him on October 17.
Israeli sources say the visit could take place before Peres ends his term as president in July. Although no date has been made official, sources on both sides say it is likely to take place on May 25-26. (...only a few days before Jerusalem Unification Day celebrations -- ironic)

The papal visit will reportedly begin in Jordan, a senior Vatican official said on Saturday, according to Jordanian state news agency Petra. 

“The pope’s visit to the Holy Land will begin in Jordan,” Vatican foreign affairs official Dominique Mamberti said in Amman after meeting Jordan’s Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh. 

Israel and the Vatican first established full diplomatic relations in 1993, but have been engaged in years of thorny diplomatic negotiations over property rights and tax exemptions for the Catholic Church, which have yet to be fully resolved. 

The Holy See wants full recognition of the legal and patrimonial rights of Catholic communities in Israel and formal confirmation of tax exemptions enjoyed by the Church since the Jewish state’s emergence in 1948 and which the UN has asked Israel to honour. 

One of the most delicate questions involves access by Catholic worshipers to a site on Mount Zion in Jerusalem called the Cenacle, where Christians believe Jesus (יש"ו) held the Last Supper the night before he was crucified. 

In June, the sides agreed to step up negotiations over the outstanding issues.

Israeli President Shimon Peres beat Netanyahu to the Vatican, making it there a good seven months ago, soon after Francis's ascension.
