Israel and Sudan, What's the Deal?

YNET: Israeli delegation returns from Khartoum after talks of normalization
Sudanese sources says trip is a part of exchanged visits between Israel and Sudan, as it includes discussions on reaching and signing a military and security agreements; PM Netanyahu attends Chad embassy opening
Ynet | 02.02.2023

Foreign Minister Eli Cohen was in Sudan's capital Khartoum on Thursday to discuss the normalization of ties between the two countries, two Sudanese government sources said.

The trip was part of an exchange of visits between Sudan and Israel and involved discussions on reaching and signing a normalization deal as well as military and security issues, the sources said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Sudan agreed to take steps to normalize ties with Israel in a 2020 deal brokered by former U.S. President Donald Trump's administration, alongside normalization agreements between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Morocco as part of the "Abraham Accords".

In January 2021, Sudan said that its justice minister at the time, Nasredeen Abdulbari, had signed on to the Abraham Accords during a visit by U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.

Cohen's office said he would in the evening convene a news conference "upon his return from a historic state visit". It did not elaborate. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Foreign Minister Eli Cohen, so? What about the Sudanese refugees infiltrators? Did you talk at all about them?

According to the Netanyahu-friendly news site Israel Hayom...
After historic visit, FM declares Israel-Sudan peace could be signed 'this year' During his one-day visit to Khartoum, Eli Cohen met with various Sudanese political figures, including Sudan's ruling general, Abdel-Fattah Burhan.
By AP and ILH Staff, 02-02-2023
The infiltrators were never mentioned in the report. However, Sudan's concern for the Pseudostinians was mentioned. The continuous American influence on Israeli foreign policy was alluded to, and even more so in the Hebrew version.

According to leftist news site Haaretz (Hebrew)...
The asylum seekers from Sudan are happy about the peace, but fear it will lead to their deportation
The official reason why Israel does not return asylum seekers from Darfur and other districts in the country stems from its definition as an enemy state. Now, many of them say that the situation in their homeland has not yet stabilized, and are worried that normalization will lead to their return. "The peace agreement is excellent, but it is between two countries and not within Sudan"
Bar Peleg, Feb. 3, 2023
Over the years, members of government have trying put a stop to the flow of insurgents into Israel, especially MK May Golan (Likud),and former MK Michael Ben-Ari (Otzmah Yehudit), while the Supreme Court has attempted to block their every move.

Then back in 2019...
According to Netanyahu, he discussed during his visit with then-President Idriss Deby multiple issues, including Israel's refugees. Israel has tried deporting its asylum seekers, at least 35,000 people at the time, mostly from Eritrea and Sudan, and has attempted to close deals with Rwanda and Uganda to have them take them in return for various offerings. (Reuters via Haaretz, Feb. 1, 2023)
Well, that didn't seem to work.

I am not holding my breath.

How ironic that this week's Torah portion "Beshalah," includes the parting of the Red Sea, when you think about it, The Almighty's prevention of thousands of Africans from following us toward the Land of Israel.

Yet another failure of the co-dependent Abrahams Accords.

Israeli Ultra-Orthodox Soldiers under Scrutiny Again

Former MK Michael Ben-Ari: Our son is in a Netzah Yehudah infantry commander training course.
Hoping he's not aware of the lynch by the media he and his fellow soldiers are going through.

YNET: IDF suspends Haredi battalion troops over use of violence on Palestinians
Military chief calls incident 'severe,' says it contradicts IDF's values; adds Netzah Yehuda soldiers involved are not worthy of serving in a combat unit; Netzah Yehuda troops were involved in alleged mistreatment of Palestinians in the past
Yoav Zitun | 08.24.22
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
This report almost makes it seem like we have never head of such claims against units of secular soldiers. As far as the the leftist-controlled media is concerned, who is to say that this has not just been blown out of proportion for good propaganda-like measure? Oh, and what were the orders given to this battalion for such situations? And what were the rules of engagement laid down for this unit? Were they different from other units?

For years we have seen soldiers afraid to do their jobs to protect us, due to potential repercussions. It would not be the first time a soldier has been used as a scapegoat, in order to satisfy any outcry from Arabs, leftists, and the so-called international community, over the Israeli Defense Forces [IDF] trying to do their jobs.

As I have written previously, the State does not actually want Haredim (ultra-orthodox) in the IDF. It just wants an excuse to continue its incitement against them. The Haredi Draft Issue has Never Been About the Haredi Draft

Arabs continue to behave as Arabs always have, emboldened by the fact they know about IDF soldiers' fear of their own government and commanders throwing them under the bus.

As far as the Israeli government goes, it is trying to have its cake and eat it too.

Now, here it comes...
The IDF finds it difficult to regulate the status of the Haredi battalion. During their service, the Netzah Yehudah soldiers are forced to stay only in the West Bank area, as opposed to other battalions that perform a rotation that includes the Gaza Strip and Lebanon and Syria borders.
Is this a suggestion that radical changes need to be made, including a possible break-up of this battalion entirely? It is this being used as an excuse for the intense scrutiny from the mainstream leftist-controlled media?

The Hesder Yeshivah, learn and serve programs have been targets of attack for years now, while the diehard State loyalist pre-IDF Mechinot programs have fostered and praise.

But that's not all. The Hebrew version includes comments from one soldier who believes the soldiers yearn to become "full-fledged infantry battalion," able to implement all of their training they have been given in preparation again Hamas and Hezbollah.

I believe that the IDF would find it difficult to regulate Netzah Yehudah whether the battalion stayed in the same location or was rotated like the others. It would have expend a concerted effort to keep these Haredi soldiers segregated from other units. As I have written before, they wouldn't want to risk having secular soldiers see their fellow soldiers pray three times a day, put on tefillin (phylacteries), say grace after meals, modify their work behavior on Shabbat (the Sabbath), even while on duty. They certainly would not want secular soldiers to have the opportunity to ask burning questions  about Torah they have had all their lives.

And those soldiers from State Religious (mamlakhti) homes, many of whom are on track for leaving the IDF less religious than they were when they came in, if religious at all, would also be exposed to peers with greater faith than their own. to examples of Jews connecting their faith with their day to day lives, providing an opportunity for them to strengthen their own faith in The Almighty and His Torah, threatening the State's prime

I believe there is only one reason Haredi soldiers, as well as strict Religious Zionist soldiers, in the IDF: to make them not Haredi, or to at least lessen their attitude of stringency. We have all already heard of the attempts at breaking the Hesder yeshivah soldiers, by forcing them to listening to women sing and to watch them dance, against their religious sensibilities. If they do begin rotating them, then there will be an additional reason why they were taken into the army, additional canon fodder.

Who to Vote for in the Upcoming Israeli Elections

English follows the Hebrew.

Naftali Bennett
Former Minister of Religious Affairs

Bennett's "Plan:" Look familiar?
Royi Bar Natan as Moshe Feiglin

Rabbi Rafi Peretz
Betzalel Smotrich

Otzma Yehudit: Michael Ben-Ari, Baruch Marzel, Itamar Ben-Gvir, Bentzi Gopstein

The elections for the 21st Knesset will take place in a week and a half. Do you know who you're voting for yet? I have spoken to a lot of people who still haven't decided.

I myself have finally decided who to vote for. My answer is short; the explanation as to why, isn't.

Maybe you're asking me, "Well? What about Naftali Bennett?" And I would reply with, "Well? What about him?"

Have you seen his so-called "plan?" (above) Did you know that he wanted to give many Arabs in Judea and Samaria autonomy, and to give still other Arabs Israeli citizenship? In a nutshell, Naftali Bennett's "New Right" Party is neither new nor right. What? No one remembers the Techiya Party? At leastthe Techiya Party opposed the Camp David Accords (1973) and the withdrawal from Sinai. By the way, does anyone care about the reduction of parental rights resulting from a law introduced by MK Shuli Mualem-Refaeli (New Right)?

I was a member of the Likud Party for about twelve years to be part of the effort to get Moshe Feiglin elected to the Knesset. He eventually made it in. He also managed to be elected to the following Knesset. But Prime Minister Netanyahu seemed to have other ideas, and found a way to keep him out. Needless to say, I then canceled my Likud membership.

Today I am not prepared to vote for Moshe Feiglin (Zehut) for the Knesset. I do agree with some of of the objectives he wants to achieve, but not all of them. And I'm still waiting for him to answer the question I asked twice him quite some time ago: "Why did you allow the candidates who encouraged Christian volunteers to live in the Land of Israel (even temporarily)?

The answer I always get from Zehut members of an identity party is: "We do not receive donations from Christian organizations, but only from individuals." Whose question is this answer supposed to be answering?? I ask, because it does not answer my question at all.

There are also guessing of his behalf, providing answers like this: "He is letting us choose the candidates." And this answer makes me ask my second question: "How can libertarianism and Torah be entirely reconciled?"

Pictured above is Rabbi Rafi Peretz (The Jewish Home / Union of the Right-wing Parties), immediately before he was kicked out of his home in the settlement of Atzmona in Gush Qatif, part of the Gaza Strip, which was handed over to Arabs in 2005. In my opinion, he did not fight enough for his home, presumably having listened to mamlakhti (diehard State loyalist) rabbis limiting his actions, while Rabbi Dov Lior of Hevron-Qiryat Arba and Rabbi Zalman Melamed of Bet El were barricaded in a synagogue in the neighboring town of Kfar Darom. So, how can we believe Rabbi Peretz will be willing to fight for the homes of other Jews?

Also pictured above is Bezalel Smotrich (National Union / Union of Right-wing Parties) speaks in a prayer house of the settler Christians in Samaria (left). He also strove for the sovereignty of the Ma'aleh Adumim settlement. In my opinion, this strategy expresses the message that Ma'aleh Adumim is ours, but the rest of Judea and Samaria isn't? He lives in Kedumim. That is, in the area inside the security fence.

So what other choices do we have?

Even though the High Court of Justice disqualified Michael Ben-Ari from running for Knesset elections, and even though Itamar Ben-Gvir received only seventh place on the list of right-wing parties, and even though I do expect yet another unfortunate surprise, there is no choice but to vote for the united right-wing parties.

See the above video, now being considered for banning by the Central Elections Committee Chair, Justice Hanan Meltzer. You do not have to understand even a word of Hebrew, in order to understand the situation we are in.

Of course, people are already saying that it does not matter which party to vote for. Because the Supreme Court justices will cancel what they don't like, and replace it with what pushes their agenda forward, despite the decisions that come out of the Knesset.

In the meantime, I intend to vote for the Union of Right-wing Parties, in spite of Peretz and Smotrich, and in the hope that at least one member of Otzmah Yehudit will make it into the next Knesset.

I don't really see that I have any other choice.

A Christian Invoking Rabbi Meir Kahane's Name?

Arutz 7 (Israel National News): Israeli Court ouster of Ben-Ari paves way for future Draconian rulings
Wake up, people in the late great State of Israel!
Gerald McGlothlin, 19/03/19
Meir David HaKohen Kahane lives! And he's affecting politics from the grave as Israel's highest court in an unprecedented move rubbed salt in the murdered Rabbi’s wounds by allowing radical anti-Zionist Arab parties Balad and the United Arab List on the ballot while banning Kahane-supporter Michael Ben-Ari.
Never mind that these approved parties support terrorism and want to see Israel cease from being a nation, the court-of-last-resort somehow summonsed other-world 'wisdom' saying, "Vote for anyone you want other than who we don't want you to vote for.”
The court apparently didn’t want to be confused with the fact that Dr. Ben-Ari is a former Knesset member of good standing whose views haven’t changed. They ousted him anyway, just three weeks before elections.
For what? Making comments critical of Arabs and committing the 'unpardonable sin' of 'daring' to post on Facebook that Israel must oppose terrorism. It’s a throwback to the scene in Casablanca where policeman Captain Louis Renault mustered feigned outrage over ‘discovering’ that there was gambling in Rick's Cafe, despite the fact that he was one of Rick’s regular gambling patrons.
Following the selective demonization of Netanyahu's alleged 'high crimes,' this court decision paves the way for a potential paradigm shift in the future Israel--if it’s allowed have a future.

It doesn't take a lot of imagination for anyone with a pulse to figure out what type of future Supreme Court justices the regime might confirm. Verdict in: No more Israel? No more problem.
Ah, all in the name of 'free and fair' elections in what might become the late great state of Israel.
Between the witch hunt against Netanyahu and the injection of land-for-false-peace Knesset members, anti-Zionist terrorists must be licking their chops. Oh, my, did I just commit a hate crime--for hating hate and loving Israel?
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
I have mixed feelings commenting on this piece. For one, it's from Artuz 7. But hey, if A7 is the only source carrying a particular piece, what's a guy to do? And, second, I don't like giving these people, like the author of this piece, free publicity. Sometimes it's better just to ignore them. They really hate that.

"Meir David HaKohen Kahane lives!"

First off, Gerald, that's RABBI Meir David HaKohen Kahane. (sigh)Yes, he mentions "rabbi" soon after. Nevertheless it is appropriate to include his title at the first mention of his name.

Now, what exactly does Gerald McGlothlin mean by this statement? When Jews say it, we mean that his Torah ideas are alive. But, when McGlothlin says it, does he mean "alive" as in Christian messianic mythological alive? Or does he mean Rabbi Kahane's influence? Now that I point this out, I wonder how he would respond. Any guesses?

And his next statement? "And he's affecting politics from the grave..." Just a metaphor? Or a suggestion of something else?

"But, isn't he right?" you may be asking. Irrelevant. That is not the point of this post.

And besides [in times when Jews maintain control over the Land of Israel] one may not speak about such individuals with praise.

Oh, and how do I know that he is a Christian? Google him. The description of the YouTube channel he is associated with is more than enough for me.

Great State? Nowhere in the Torah does it mention a state. It does mention kings, as well as the Sanhedrin, ואין צריך לומר the Land. And so, I am not insulted by the concern that the State might be "late." Eventually, we will have a Kingdom.

My only question is this: Is McGlothlin simply one of those Christians who believes in pushing along his mythological beliefs, which include events pertaining to Jews, and their actions? Or is he one of those who believes that Christians will, one way or another, eventually reside in the Land of Israel, and are even entitled to do so?

"But, didn't Rabbi Kahane speak to Christians and even go on Christian talk radio?" you may be asking.  Irrelevant. Christian strategies have changed drastically, just like their predecessor Esau changed his strategies in the Torah, and his descendants have continued to do so through out history, in order to overpower Ya'aqov (Israel).

"If you [Christians] want to support us, support us from afar. If you want to come to Israel and missionize [which, of course, McGlothlin doesn't mention] we'll have to...."
-Rabbi Meir Kahane hy"d

I wonder if Gerald McGlothlin knows of this quote from the Rav.

Notes
1. Sources are purposefully absent on this post, although easy enough to find on ones own. Although it is permissible to teach Christians Written Torah, it is, for the most part, forbidden to teach them Oral Torah.

2. Aren't there Jewish traditions regarding reincarnation? Yes, but there completely different from those of Christians.

Israel the DeMOCKracy

English follows the Hebrew.

I was on the bus in Tel-Aviv on the way to a meeting, and caught pieces of a conversation some English speakers were having in back of me.

Now, of course, I wasn't trying to overhear their conversation, and they weren't speaking to loudly either. You know? Like when Americans are speaking too loudly on the bus,...complaining about how [native] Israelis speak too loudly on the bus? (A-hem!) But, that's another topic for another post on another day...

Anyway, as my stop approached and I got up to move toward the door, I looked over to the, apparently secular (but you never know), young man who had been talking, and said, "Excuse me. I just wanted to tell you I agreed with what you were saying."

He cracked a smile, and must have been in Israel for a while, since the intrusion from out of the blue didn't seem to phase him.

He was from Australia, and had said that he didn't really care about Australia, but cared about Israel. Australia wasn't his home.

I told that was what he said that I agreed with.

He continued with complaints about governmental corruption in Israel, how it hurts Israel, and how he hoped it would get cleaned up,... or something like that.

I replied that "...I certainly agreed with that as well, but that even though I had appreciation for the State -- after all, I would be able to live in the Land of Israel if it hadn't been for the State -- the State was only temporary. Eventually, it will be replaced by the Kingdom of Israel."

After all, don't religious ("Orthodox") Jews pray for the return of a kind from the line of David, ie. Mashi'ah?

From his puzzled face, it seemed to me that this caught him off guard.

I decided to let him off the hook, immediately smiled, and added that, "...if don't agree, then I suggest you have lots of children,... so that they can counter the votes of my children. Otherwise, we will eventually democratically vote in this Torah system of government."

And with that, he he seemed to relax. Then, as I was getting off the bus, I added, "At least we can agree that it's cool that two total strangers can have a conversation on the bus."

He smiled

Now, of course, I don't believe that we will be able to vote in a change in system of government. After all, the State of Israel isn't really a democracy; it's a deMOCKracy.

Every time someone begins to gain ground while playing by the rules, the powers that be simply change the rules, and oust him.

The "right-wing" Techiya Party, with the help of the Israeli Supreme Court ousted Rabbi Meir Kahane hy"d.

Prime Minister Netanyahu got the rules changed with the Likud Party, resulting in the prevention of former MK Moshe Feiglin from re-entering the Knesset.

MKs Eli Yishai and Yoni Chetboun were also prevented from re-entering the Knesset, along with Baruch Marzel, when the non-Jewish, elections judge insisted on sticking with ridiculous, outdated rules regarding the counting of ballots. If I remember correctly, the Israeli Supreme Court backed him. The vast majority of disqualified ballots would have been votes for Yishai and Chetboun's party.

So, when we the Jewish People finally get our act together, unify, and move in a significant way toward a Torah-based government, I sincerely doubt that DEMONcratic voting will be successful.

My guess is that the left-wing of the Erev Rav will whip out their foreign passports and get on a place to somewhere,...to anywhere but here.

B'Hadrei Haredim: Leftists injured Ben Ari: "Where the ISA?"
Masked Leftist extremist activists, attacked the procession in support of Elor Azaria with tear gas • Dr. Michael Ben-Ari was lightly wounded

Eli Schlesinger, 7 Tammuz 5776 13/ 07/2016

On Wednesday evening, a procession in support of IDF soldier Elor Azaria took place, in which dozens of youths took part. The procession marched from HaBima Square toward a government complex in Tel Aviv.

While approaching the government complex the march participants were surprised by five, masked suspects, one of whom sprayed tear gas at the marchers. The suspects were arrested by police.

During the attack several youths were wounded. Also wounded was [former MK] Dr. Michael Ben-Ari, who was evacuated to Ichilov Hospital, along with others who were wounded. (cont.)
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Let's see what happens to these Leftists.

Probably nothing.

Some Jews are worth more that others in this so-called "democracy."

Esser Agaroth Fun with a Jew-Hater on Twitter!

Well, there I was, minding my own business, when I noticed several new notifications on my
Follow Esser Agaroth on Twitter! @EsserAgaroth Twitter account.

Imagine my shock when I found that I have been added to the following groups!

Actually, I'm just kidding. I wasn't shocked at all. I even "thanked" the Jew-hater Kenneth 'Cha' Mac who added me!

The link I tweeted here is to Debunking Israel's Indigenous Argument, informing him, and everyone else, of the irrelevance of who was in Israel first. But, the Pseudostinians certainly weren't. That's for sure!

Then I noticed the cross in his mouth and next to his Twitter profile name. I just couldn't help myself. So, I tweeted a link to Disproving Christianity in 10 minutes to him. Before posting these screen shots of our Tweeting extravaganza, I erased part of the cross next to his username. I didn't want that avodah zarah (foreign worship) crap displayed on my site.

The link I tweeted in response to his "Wheres" tweet is to this graphic. I included the Torah verses here, as well. Granted, this is only one of many sources of The Almighty's promise of Eretz Yisra'el (Land of Israel) to the Jewish People. But, as I tweeted above, it is one of my favorites!

"In that day the Lord made a covenant with Avram, saying: 'To your seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates.' the Kenite, and the Kenizzite, and the Kadmonite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Rephaim, and the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Girgashite, and the Jebusite.'" (Genesis 15:18-21)

I suppose that his query here is a reference to waiting from Mashi'ah (Messiah) to come and do everything for us. My response speaks for itself.

This was my last back-and-forth with Kenneth 'Cha' Mac, as soon afterwards, he blocked me.

I'm so upset! NOT!

And, don't think I'm removing myself from those groups either. I'm not one of those sissy Hasbara Jews. I don't give a rat's tuchus as to what the goyim think of me, my people, or my homeland. Sounds like a great publicity tool to me, don't you think?

Well, after this exchange on Twitter, it is only appropriate to wish everyone a שנה טובה ומתוקה/ Shannah Tovah u'Methuqah, a Good and Sweet Year, with an re-posting of Lehava's own blessing. Lehava is an organization which works against Jewish assimilation, including intermarriage. (Tip: former MK Micha'el Ben-Ari).

One of the symbolic foods eaten by Jews on Rosh HaShannah is the תמר/tamar (date). Its sound tamar similar to the Hebrew verb tam (to finish), it is eaten with the following blessing.

May it be Your Will, Lord our God, and the God of our Fathers that our enemies, and haters, and all who request evil for us be finished!
(L - R) ISIS, Fatah, PLO, Peace Now, Breaking the Silence, B'Tzelem
Amen!

Shannah Tovah u'Methuqah!

MK Yoni Chetboun, What Happened?

Arutz 7: Otzma Yehudit Reveals Why Yishai Joint List Talks Failed
Ben-Ari's party and Ha'am Itanu discussed joint list to avoid 'lost right-wing votes' - but a Yishai associate allegedly 'torpedoed' it.

Shimon Cohen, Ari Yashar, January 26, 2015

Former MK Dr. Michael Ben-Ari's Otzma Yehudit party and MK Eli Yishai's Yachad - Ha'am Itanu were in last minute talks Sunday night to form a joint list and ensure both parties don't miss out in the coming elections, but apparently those talks have fallen through, and Otzma Yehudit says a person close to Yishai is responsible.

According to a source in Otzma Yehudit, both parties generally agreed on all the major issues that would allow them to run as a technical bloc for the elections and afterwards split while keeping their seats, with Yishai likely joining a Likud-led coalition and Ben-Ari being in the Opposition.

"However, during the negotiations a representative from Yishai's Ha'am Itanu party surprised us and claimed the first four spots are already 'flooded' with knitted kippot (national religious Jews as opposed to haredim - ed.), and there's no room for another knitted kippah in the first four," revealed the source.

A point of friction in the last minute talks was that Ben-Ari requested the fourth and sixth spots on the list, as opposed to just the sixth spot, given that polls have shown without his party Yishai will not make it past the threshold for entering the Knesset, whereas the combined list would get a comfortable seven mandates.

"We were very surprised by the allegations of these words that show a lack of understanding in terms of politics and simple mathematics," added the Otzma Yehudit representative, noting the polls showing Yishai's poor chances running alone.

Given the refusal to give greater representation to Otzma Yehudit above the sixth spot, the party has said it cannot join in a technical bloc, and accuses an unnamed MK connected to Yishai's list, other than Yishai himself, as being responsible for the situation.

According to the Otzma Yehudit source, "we were surprised that instead of showing responsibility, this MK ran from place to place, leaked inaccurate leaks, and tried to torpedo the negotiations by force."

The unnamed MK allegedly said that another point of contention between the parties centered on Otzma Yehudit's insistence that Jewish access to the Temple Mount be a plank in the party's platform, but the Otzma Yehudit source says there is no disagreement on this subject, since Yishai's mentor, Rabbi Meir Mazuz, has already come out in support of ascent to the Temple Mount. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
MK Eli Yishai
"However, during the negotiations a representative from Yishai's Ha'am Itanu party surprised us and claimed the first four spots are already 'flooded' with knitted kippot (national religious Jews as opposed to haredim - ed.), and there's no room for another knitted kippah in the first four," revealed the source.

This is truly one of the silliest thing I have ever heard regarding an election. Unfortunately, and this should be no secret, there is plenty of resistance among mamlakhtim (diehard State loyalists) to any unity with Haredim. The mamlakhtim seemed to be more concerned with what they have in common in regading to their relationship with the State, than with Torah. The so-called Jewish Home Party is a good example of this, open to non-religious candidates, and perhaps even non-Jewish candidates, but to Haredim? And so, there may actually be something practical to what was stated here. Unfortunate, but perhaps practical.
"...MK Yoni Chetboun, who left Jewish Home to join Ha'am Itanu (and is the only MK beside Yishai on the list..."
Looks pretty suspicious to me.

I have written positively about MK Yoni Chetboun (Yachad - Ha'am Itanu), which is rare for me, especially concerning one who has still not completely climbed out of the mamlakhti box.

So, I am more than a little disappointed in Chetboun, if the above report is an accurate one. Sure, I support more "Haredim" on the list. But, you want to be practical, right?
MK Yoni Chetboun
"We won't be dragged to the level of this goading discussion," said Chetboun disparagingly. "We have responsibility towards the nationalist camp and therefore to save the lost votes, we offered him (Ben-Ari) a reserved sixth spot."
Glossing over the danger that Yishai's independent run will also result in "lost votes", Chetboun continued: "it's a shame he is refusing, insisting time and again to lose votes for the right. Right-wing voters should know and internalize that Ben-Ari's independent run is liable to bring a leftist government of Tzipi (Livni) - Buji (Yitzhak Herzog)."
Ben-Ari will bring many votes that those with crocheted kippoth, you already have on your list. If you do not know this, then you are out of touch with the very people you think are going to vote for you, and you really don't have any being in the K'nesseth.

Yes, the people are coming around, waking up to the severe differences between Torah and State loyalty, and are demonstrating their preference for Torah.
Micha'el Ben-Ari
Regarding the issue of "lost votes," Otzma Yehudit has argued in the past that their ideologically-concerned voters will not have a party to vote for if they do not run, which would mean "lost votes" in any case, and that many religious Zionist voters disappointed with Jewish Home would also not vote at all without them as an alternative.

If the polls are any indication of what the K'nesseth makeup will be like, then the next one will not include either Micha'el Ben-Ari, Eli Yishai, or Yoni Chetboun.

Time to get it together.

Israeli Aid To Africa: It's A Lot More Than You Think

Marking 50 years of diplomatic relations, Israel and Germany launch joint effort to combat poverty in Africa.

Tova Dvorin, February 11, 2014

In honor of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Israel and Germany, the two countries announced Sunday that they would be launching a joint project for humanitarian relief in developing countries, specifically in Africa.

According to Channel 1, the project, entitled “the Africa initiative,” will see Israel pledge 24 million shekel ($6.8 million) toward humanitarian relief in developing countries from 2015-2020. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Photo courtesy of Dr. Micha’el Ben-Ari
As recently as the summer, 2012, reports began filing in as to just how much money the Africans infiltrating Israel were actually costing the country. The above photo informs us that at one Tel-Aviv hospital alone (Ichilov), a collective bill of 28 Million Sheqqels (approx. $7 Million) was racked up alone, just for the sake of delivering the babies of these infiltrators!

What about other hospitals? Other medical departments? What about food, shelter, the necessity for additional law enforcement hours? Other parts of the country? The list goes on.

And, don’t forget. The above report was from the summer, 2012. Not only that, but it was not just then Micha’el Ben-Ari (Strong Israel) who was an MK at the time, complaining about the financial burden of these infiltrators. It was Ya’ir Lapid (Yesh Atid), a politician not often found to be in agreement with Ben-Ari.

So, when you are told that the Israeli Government is giving 24 Million Sheqqels in financial aid to Africa, whether you agree with this decision or not, know that this is a gross misrepresentation.
How many millions of sheqqels has the Israeli Government already forked out for the sake of citizens of African countries?

And, who foots the bill? You and I, the Israeli tax payer, of course.

Politics in the Israeli Entertainment Industry

YNET: Israeli singer Achinoam Nini rejects composers' organization award
Ran Boker, January 30, 2014

Israeli singer Achinoam Nini refused to accept an award by ACUM (a non-profit corporation administering the rights of authors, composers, lyricists, poets, arrangers and music publishers) due to the organization's decision to honor singer Ariel Zilber with an award as well.

Nini wrote on her personal facebook page: "I wanted to announce that I have cancelled my participation in the Akum Prize Award Ceremony due to ideological reasons. I also asked that no one accept the award on my behalf."

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Well, this will most likely not be the last time that politics sneaks its head into the Israeli entertainment industry.

I wonder what issues Ahinoam Nini could have with Ariel Zilber.

Ariel Zilber
Before and After
Could it be that in תשס"ה/2005, he moved to Azza (Gaza/Gush Qatif) to show support for the Jews the Israeli Government was getting ready to kick out of their homes, and off of their lands, and eventually did?

Could it be the concerts he gave right next to the Israeli Army [IDF] planning to kick those Jews out of their homes?
Could it be that in תשס"ו/2006, he supported Baruch Marzel (National Jewish Front) for K'nesseth?

Could it be that in תשס"ט/2009, he supported Micha'el Ben-Ari and Aryeh Eldad (Our Israel-National Union) for K'nesseth?

Could it be that in תש"ע/2010, Zilber sang at the the Memorial for R' Binymain and Talia Kahane hy"d, 10 years after they were killed.

Could it be that Ariel Zilber has become Torah observant?

Personally, I do not know how any of the above have anything to do whether Ariel Zilber deserves to receive an award for achievement in music or not. Even if all of the above experiences had a part in inspiring him, I still don't see the connection.

Apparently, neither did ACUM, the organization honoring Ariel Zilber with the award.

More Sneaky Christian Missionary Activity (The Yellow Booklet)

A friend of mine came across this yellow booklet, pictured below. It is in Hebrew and Russian. His Hebrew isn't so great, and his Russian nil, but even he was suspicious.I started to flip through the pages, finding only verses from Tana"kh, until I came to לוקוס, then shortly after that מתתיהו, יוחנן, העברים (Luke, John, Matthew, and Hebrews, respectively). I stopped paying close attention at that point.

There are only verses, with only a titles above them, indicating what they want to convince you what the verses mean.

"The Messiah Of Israel"
Followed by verse from the Tana"kh
Isaiah 61:1

"The Society for Deceptive Hebrew Scriptures"

A "Registered Charity," huh? I suggest that all British citizens coll the Charity Registry to complain about their deceptiveness.

So, be warned. If you see this yellow booklet floating around your neighborhood, you will be able to recognize it.

It should then be disposed of properly.

Ramba"m, Laws of Avodah Zarah, Ch. 7
1 It is a positive commandment to destroy avodah zarah, and its accessories, as it is said, "You should surely destroy all the places, wherein the nations that you are to expel served their gods,..." (Deut. 12:2), and it is said, "But thus shall ye deal with them: ye shall break down their altars..." (Deut. 7:5)

2 And in the Land of Israel, it is a commandment to chase after it, until it is destroyed from all of our land; but outside the Land, we are not commanded to chase after it, rather each place we [Israel] capture, we would destroy all avodah zarah within it, as it is said, "...and you destroy their name out of that place." (Deut. 12:3)--In the Land of Israel, you are commanded to chase after it, but you are not commanded to chase after it outside the Land.

Here is one example, from former MK Dr. Micha'el Ben-Ari.

Micha'el Ben-Ari rips a Christian text known as the "New Testament."

...and another from Uzi Aharon, Vice-Mayor of Or Yehudah.
Uzi Aharon prefers to burn the Christian texts distributed throughout his city.
Both are acceptable according to halakhah (Jewish Law).

I'll let you guess how I helped my friend get rid of his...

Jews, Arabs, Chuck Hagel, And Snow

While the nationalist Otzmah leYisrael political party was taking advantage of the snow, by having a Snowman Making Contest, what were Jerusalem Arabs doing?

Building snow rockets, near the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount.

(Tip Credit: Elder Of Ziyon)

Hagel, apparently whispering sweet nothings into the president's ear.
Former Senator and President Obama's choice for Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel (R-NE) might say that this was just a symptom of their "oppression," a perfect example of a Westerner trying to hammer an Arab peg into a Western hole.  It doesn't fit.

Yet the denial of the true Yishma'eli (Arab) nature, mentality, and culture, continues.  The Western attitude that its culture is superior to all others on this planet prevents the West from seeing the truth, and from accepting the reality of the Yishma'eli nature and role on this earth.

The Yishma'elim lie, they steal, they are violent for no reason.  Just look at the Tana"kh (Bible).

They are also sexually violent.  Is their an excuse sexual violence?

The true Yishma'eli nature is expressed even in the snow.  Mothers believing that their primary goal is to impart jihad values to their children, and to encourage them to become martyrs.  The snow rocket is more than representative of the Yishma'eli desire to see the complete destruction of Israel.

That either makes Hagel prey to Yishma'eli lies, or a collaborator.
Hagel: Terrorists Attack because they lack hope. Defense Nominee Claims Palestinians ‘Chained Down Many, Many Years’

Aaron Klein, January 10, 2013

JERUSALEM — Terrorism is not a belief but instead is a response to despair and a lack of hope, argued Chuck Hagel in unreported remarks during a 2007 senate hearing.

“But when people have no hope, when there’s despair, little else matters,” said Hagel.

He continued: “And this is not about terrorists don’t like freedom. Tell that to the Palestinian people who have been chained down for many, many years. Terrorism is not a strategy, it’s a tactic.

Terrorism is not a plan. It’s not a belief like democracy or monarchy. It’s a tactic.” Hagel was speaking during a January 24, 2007 Senate Committee on Foreign Relations hearing on Iraq.

His comments were captured in this CSPAN video.

Hagel’s views on terrorism are not abnormal for the Obama administration.

John Brennan, President Obama’s counterterror adviser, once defined them term jihad as to “purify oneself or to wage a holy struggle for a moral goal.”

Brennan is now Obama’s pick to head the CIA. (cont.)

The Nice, But Ineffective Likud Party List Of Candidates

IsraelNN.com: MK Ben Ari: Likud List Is Nice, But Ineffective
'Elkin, Levin, Hotovely and Danon were in the Knesset when Netanyahu froze construction.'

Gil Ronen, November 27, 2012

MK Michael Ben-Ari
MK Michael Ben Ari (Power to Israel) said Tuesday that the newly selected Likud list contains good nationalist names – but those names are not enough to keep Likud's leader from steering the nation in the wrong direction. "Without a doubt," he said, "Elkin, Hotovely, Yariv Levin and Danny Danon are honest ideologues and they mean what they say. However, we must remember that they were already in the Knesset in the previous term, and that did not prevent Netanyahu from recognizing a Palestinian state and freezing construction in Judea and Samaria."

"The influence of these members is marginal, I am sorry to say, and it will continue to remain marginal. We see this already this morning, with Netanyahu saying that he wants to keep Dan Meridor and Benny Begin at his side. What does that tell you about the Likud's true direction?

Ben Ari did not mention the newly elected Moshe Feiglin in his statement.

Ben Ari also blasted Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman. "The man is an elections hound, and history proves that on the eve of elections he always makes right wing statements and is suddenly deep within the Right, but it is no secret that inside, at home, in critical government votes, Lieberman turns out to be an opportunist, and he was a partner to all of this government's failures."

Ben Ari noted the government's "surrender" in Gaza as a case in point. "Instead of entering Gaza, erasing the enemy and bringing Hamas down on its knees, the Netanyahu-Lieberman government delivered a disappointment, and not for the first time."

Ben Ari heads the newly formed Power to Israel faction together with MK Aryeh Eldad.

MK Ben-Ari is right on point.

However, he failed to mention Danny Danon's history of collaboration with Christian missionaries, nor his infamous, and completely unnecessary, apology to Turkey.  He also neglected to mention the destruction of 10-year old neighborhood in Beth-El, the destruction of Migron, and the destruction of any number of other Jewish strongholds in Yehudah and Shomron (Judea and Samaria).

Nevertheless, it looks Ben-Ari and Eldad's "Power To Israel" Party will be getting my vote, come this 11 Shvat (January 22, 2013).
