Spain: A Dangerous Place for Jews

(YNET)

YNET: Jewish children kicked off Spanish plane told to remove Jewish symbols before new flight
Ahead of the return flight from Paris, the Jewish children who were taken off a plane in Valencia after singing in Hebrew were asked by group leaders to remove their kippahs and tzitzit; 'We will not give those anti-Semites the opportunity to throw us off the plane'

We never did get that apology about the Inquisition, forced conversions, expulsions, torture, and death, did we?
King Juan Carlos attended a Madrid event in 1992 that was the nation's first to recognize "injustices of the past" against Jews, but no specific Inquisition killings were mentioned at that gathering in a synagogue, Royo said. (YNET)
This begs the question as to why Spain has encouraged Jews to investigate if they qualify for Spanish citizenship. The appearance of quasi-political-correctness in the eyes of the world? In the eyes of the Jewish world? Or may they just want to exploit us, just the old Soviet Union did with its Jews, and preventing them from leaving?

Or maybe it's much something bigger.

On one hand, the goyim (non-Jewish nations) do not want us in their countries. If we are there, they mean to punish us, the justification for the punishments changing over time. On the other hand, they do not allow us our own homeland, like almost all other peoples of the world.

So, maybe they just want us all dead and gone. By the way, that is what is called genocide.

Concert Goers in Spain Yell to Attack Tel-Aviv

English follows the Hebrew.

Hebrew graffiti at Shuafat light rail station, Jerusalem, August, 2015: "Death to Israel, Death to Jews"

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
This video, which has been going around on social media shows a singer in concert in Spain enoucarging his audience to yell, "Let's go bomb Tel-Aviv."

Not Hevron. Not Beit El. Not Efrat.

Tel Aviv. The capital of Israel's "woke," anti-Torah, anti-judicial reform, leftist mobs.

Jews are in shock. Leftist Jews. So-called liberal Jews.

We have seen this before. Leftists in shock that anyone would attack them, the defenders of the [non-existent] Palestinian People.

They forgot that...

Leftist women were sexually harassed while visiting Arafat's Muqata compound in Ramallah.

A company in Germany sent a package to Tel-Aviv, Palestine.

Both Hamas and Mahmud Abbas's Fata"h Party believe that the mythical country of Palestine is comprised of ALL of Israel, and not just Judea and Samaria. (See the maps embedded in the organizations' emblems above)

"Israeli" Arabs attack Jews, too.

Let us not forget one of the greatest concerns on the minds of leftists. Every year they fret over the possibility that Israel will not be allowed to compete in the almighty Eurovision Song Contest. Oy vey!

Then, of course, we also get upset every time Israel is not allowed to participate in an international sporting event, or whenever a Muslim refuses to shake an Israeli athlete's hand. And when it is mentioned when an Israeli athlete isn't Jewish, that's when the Left gets really upset.

It makes sense that Leftists are shocked by such occurrences. They are in deep denial. But what of those Jews are not Leftists? What are their excuses for conveniently forgetting past attacks on Jews, and refusing to notice that they are on the rise?

There are, of course, there are those Jews living outside of Israel who will see a Jew-hating attack as a "one off," just like governments like to keep their constituents numbed-out by calling terrorist attacks "lone wolf" attacks.

No question, that Jews, both in and outside of Israel, are being tested.

Do Jews stick around in the U. S., the UK, France, Belgium, and other countries, because of the devil they know is easier to cope with than the devil they don't know?

I wish. But that's not the test. The test is for them to wake up from their denial, just like it is for the left and the diehard religious Statists in Israel (Mamlakhtim).

Many have criticized me for trying to scare Jews into making aliyah (immigrating to Israel). Well, I've tried every other way to date:
  • The Torah is the original source of Zionism.
  • Israel is the only homeland of the Jewish People, not the U. S.
  • Jewish Americans are stuck in the comfort of exile.
  • Jewish Americans have forgotten that the exile is a punishment.
What else do I have left in my strategy handbook?

Don't hate me for my Ahavath Yisrael (love of the Jewish People).

Spanish Rabbi Meir Bar-Hen: Europe is Lost.

Esser Agaroth (2¢):
One European rabbi seems to be able to read the proverbial writing on the wall.
JTA: Following terrorist attack, Barcelona’s chief rabbi says his community is doomed
By Cnaan Liphshiz, August 18, 2017

Rabbi Meir Bar-Hen
(JTA) — Commenting on deadly attacks in Catalonia, the chief rabbi of that region in Spain said his community is doomed, partly because of radical Islam and the alleged reluctance of authorities to confront it.

Rabbi Meir Bar-Hen has been encouraging his congregants to leave Spain, which he called during an interview with JTA a “hub of Islamist terror for all of Europe,” for years before the attacks Thursday and Friday, he said. At least 14 victims and five suspected terrorists were killed in Barcelona and the resort town of Cambrils, 75 miles south of that city.

To Bar-Hen, whose community on Friday resumed activities that it had suspended briefly following the Barcelona attack, “Jews are not here permanently,” he said of the city and region. “I tell my congregants: Don’t think we’re here for good. And I encourage them to buy property in Israel. This place is lost. Don’t repeat the mistake of Algerian Jews, of Venezuelan Jews. Better [get out] early than late.”

A white van on Thursday careered into crowds on Las Ramblas, Barcelona’s feted thoroughfare, when the street was packed with locals and tourists. Along with the fatalities, more than 100 were injured. The driver of the van fled on foot and was believed to be still at large on Friday. Police shot dead another man at a checkpoint Thursday. The Islamic State terrorist group claimed responsibility for that attack.

Hours later, police killed five men during a raid in Cambrils whom police said were terrorists planning an imminent attack.

Part of the problem exposed by the attacks, Bar-Hen said, is the presence of a large Muslim community with “radical fringes.” Once these people are “living among you,” he said of terrorists and their supporters, “it’s very difficult to get rid of them. They only get stronger.” He also said this applied to Europe as a whole.

“Europe is lost,” he said.
Unfortunately, he may have back-tracked a little:
Bar-Hen emphasized that he was speaking as a private person and not for all the members of his community.

Of course, there are always some hold outs among European "Jewish leaders." Whether it's because they like their positions of power or honestly "mean well," I have no idea. I have stopped trying to figure these people out:
Displaying a defiant and more confident attitude than Bar-Hen, the Federation of Jewish Communities of Spain issued a statement expressing “full confidence in security forces who work daily to prevent fanatics and radical Muslims from inflicting pain and chaos on our cities.”

And even though this European rabbi wisely points out more proof that Esau (The West) and Yishma'el (Arabs/Muslims) hate Ya'aqov (Israel), most Jews will unfortunately still ignore or downplay it:
Bar-Hen also charged that authorities and some politicians are reluctant to confront Islamist terrorism. He cited the government’s decision in April to allow Leila Khaled, a Palestinian terrorist who was convicted in a plot to hijack an airplane in 1969, to enter the country for a book festival. This showed authorities “do not understand the nature of terrorism, if they treat it as an action by the disenfranchised,” Bar-Hen said.

Ignoring calls to ban the visit by Khaled — book fair organizers hung posters of Khaled on main streets — Barcelona Mayor Ada Colau Ballano of the far-left Barcelona en Comú party led the passage in April of a City Council resolution condemning Israel’s “violations of international law.”
Too bad other European rabbis still don't have a clue. Or worse, maybe they do have a clue...

Spain: A Bad Place for Jews to Visit, an Even Worse Place for them to Live.

Muslim Settlers in Spain Call for Putting “Fear into the Jews”
Daniel Greenfield, August 2, 2014

Diversity and Muslims go together like oil and water. Mecca and Medina used to be nicely multicultural before Mohammed. But when Muslims begin colonizing a country, they target other minorities and the indigenous majority. It’s their religion.

The latest video is from an Islamist rally in the Spanish city of Cueta, and shows what looks to be hundreds of Muslims cheering and chanting during an anti-Semitic diatribe by one of the rally’s leaders.

“The Jews, for decades, for thousands of years, have wanted to exterminate the prophets and everyone on the face of the Earth who is not a Hebrew.

“In the Torah of the Jews it says that they are the chosen people… I swear to God that we will put fear into you until judgement day!”

This is a nice combo of Koranism and Nazism and there’s a reason that Mein Kampf is almost as popular as the Koran in some parts of the Muslim world.

We’re all supposed to pretend that this is anti-Zionism not anti-Semitism, but it’s quite obvious that Muslim opposition to Israel derives from a pre-existing anti-Semitism that dates back to the days of Mohammed.

The rhetoric about the Jews as the killers of prophets is classical Islam. And Islam is classically and classlessly anti-Semitic.

And this after the Spanish Government extended an offer of citizenship to Jews of Spanish (Sephardi) decent??

Let us not forget Spanish King Juan Carlos II's 1992 "apology" for  the Spanish Inquisition, ie. torture, murder, forced conversion, expulsion from homes and country, and other forms of oppression.

I don't recall how specific he was in his "apology," probably not very. Thanks for nothing, Your Majesty!

Looks like Spain and its celebrities have now joined the rest of Europe in showing it true colors.

Let's see if our Spanish brothers and sisters take the hint, before it is too late, like it is getting to be in France.

Spain Wants Its Jews Back?

Video Description:
(Dec. 17, 2013) Spain's ruling Popular Party has submitted a bill calling for a procedure to be put in place for granting Spanish citizenship to descendants of expelled Sephardic Jews, regardless of their place of residence. If passed, the law would also mean applicants would not have to renounce any previous nationalities to acquire Spanish nationality. The new initiative gives descendants a chance to return to re-establish traditions, culture and language in the country. It is not yet known when a vote on the bill will take place.

Well, sorry, Spain, but you can't have them back,...and to use for what purposes?

Israel is the only homeland of the Jewish People.

Spain already extended the to Jews. Now, its ruling party has become even more assertive regarding the issue. I find this to be rather odd, yet just as, if not more, dangerous than the anti-Jewish violence in neighboring France.

The smile and the "good intentions" of Esau are just as dangerous as the knives, guns, missiles, and bombs of Yishma'el.

Do not be fooled.

How Is Spain Granting Citizenship To Jews A Good Thing?

It's not.

JPost: Spain: Sephardi Jews To Receive Instant Citizenship

Marion Fischel, November 27, 2012

Spain has decided to offer automatic citizenship to anyone who can successfully prove their Sephardi origins.

Spanish Coat Of Arms
Spain has decided to offer automatic citizenship to anyone who can successfully prove their Sephardi origins, Justice Minister Alberto Ruiz Gallardón announced during a ceremony last week at Madrid’s Casa Sefarad-Israel.

Presiding over the ceremony was Casa Sefarad-Israel director Florentino Portero, and attendees included Gallardón, Foreign and Cooperation Minister José Manuel García-Margallo, and Isaac Querub, president of the Federation of Jewish Communities and Casa Sefarad’s director, the Spanish daily El Pais reported.

In his speech, Querub referred to the “nostalgia” and “longing” of the Sephardim for Spain,...

Why aren't they longing for Eretz Yisrael? Pretty sad, coming from the president of the Federation of Jewish Communities.  I detect Erev Rav influence at play here.

...and the 500 years that had passed from the 1492 Expulsion Decree until King Juan Carlos’s 1992 visit to Madrid’s Beit Jacob synagogue, where the king emphasized that “the Hispanic Jews are at home.”

No, they are not.  The only true, place for Jews to be at home is Eretz Yisra'el.

Querub said the king’s words had come true in the updated version of the Carta de Naturaleza (“conditions for citizenship”).

In that charter’s previous incarnation, the naturalization stipulations – for those who could prove they were Jews originating from Sefarad (Spain) – included a two-year residence period in the country. The upgrade has abolished that condition and allows for granting immediate citizenship to those able to come up with a mixture of family anecdotes, genealogical trees, ancestors buried in Jewish graves, language and customs, whether they live in Spain or abroad, said Gallardón.

He called the move a mechanism for putting the Sephardim back into Spain – “a procedure aimed at reuniting those who have been unjustly deprived of their nationality and have recreated in their hearts a Spain that they never resigned themselves to losing and that from now on is as much theirs as it is ours, under the law.” (cont.)
