עשר אגורות (2¢):
הרבה כתבות ומאמרים על חג חנוכה יוצאים עכשיו. וכרגיל, רוב כתבות מתעלמות מאחד העיקרים של החג. עלי לציין שחנוכה החג שהכי חסר תקינות פוליטית שהיהודים חוגגים. ההיסטוריה והמשמעות שלו היא גם נכתבו מחדש ומעוותת מכל החגים של היהודים. כנראה אתם כבר מנחשים שאני מאשים את שמאלנים המתבוללים על הסילופים האלה.
חג החנוכה מציין את מלחמת אחים. אבל הרבה יהודים לא יודעים את זה אלא חושבים ש חג חנוכה משהו אחר. וזאת בגלל מערכת החינוך הממלכתית בארץ והחינוך היהודי כביכול בארה"ב.
ברבים מהכתבות נזכר נס השמן המוזכר בתלמוד הבבלי. השמן שמצאו בבית המקדש מספיק לנרות המנורה ליום אחד. בסופו של דבר היה מספיק לשמונה ימים.
מאי חנוכה דתנו רבנן בכ"ה בכסליו יומי דחנוכה תמניא אינון דלא למספד בהון ודלא להתענות בהון שכשנכנסו יוונים להיכל טמאו כל השמנים שבהיכל וכשגברה מלכות בית חשמונאי ונצחום בדקו ולא מצאו אלא פך אחד של שמן שהיה מונח בחותמו של כהן גדול ולא היה בו אלא להדליק יום אחד נעשה בו נס והדליקו ממנו שמונה ימים לשנה אחרת קבעום ועשאום ימים טובים בהלל והודאה (תלמוד בבלי, מסכת שבת כא,ב)
איך הצליחו החשמונאים (המכבים) הצליחו להגיע לבית המקדש? הם ניצחו במלחמה. איזה מלחמה?
רבים מהכתבות של היום אכן מציינים כי "...הסלאוקים (הסורים-יוונים) ניסו להכריח את עם ישראל לקבל עליו את התרבות והאמונות היווניות במקום קיום מצווה ואמונה בה׳."
אבל רבים, אם לא רובם, גם מתעלמים מלהזכיר שהיוונים לא רק ניסו להכריח את עם ישראל לקבל את תרבותם אלא הם הצליחו לעשות כך. המכבים ניצחו במלחמה לא רק נגד היוונים אלא גם יהודים.
הם נלחמו והרגו יהודים. הם נלחמו והרגו את היהודים שנכנעו ליוונים ושיתפו איתם פעולה, כלומר היהודים שהתבוללו.
הציעו לכהן הגדול מתתיהו בן יוחנן את "הכבוד" לקריב קורבן אסור לפי התורה. הוא סירב. הציעו את הכבוד ליהודי די מתבולל ביוונות. מתתיהו הרג אותו, ובכך התחיל את המרד נגד היוונים.
הסיפור הידוע ביותר שמוזכר גם בספר מקבים א', וכן במקורות נוספים, הוא הסיפור על הגעת חייליו של אנטיוכוס למודיעין ובקשתם ממתתיהו להקריב קורבן. מתתיהו סירב ובמקומו עלה יהודי אחר להקריב את הקורבן. מתתיהו בחמתו הרג אותו בעוד הוא מקריב את הקורבן על הבימה במודיעין כדברי מקבים א': "ויקנא מתתיה לתורה כאשר עשה פנחס לזמרי בן שלום [סלוא] (במדבר כה,ו-יג). ויקרא מתתיה בעיר בקול גדול לאמור: כל המקנא לתורה והעומד בברית יצא אחרי" וכך פרץ המרד ביוונים. למרבה הצערנו, "הציונים" החילוניים לקחו את ההזדמנות הזו. כשם שהם יצרו את המילה הציונות כדי למחוק את ההשבועה של הקב״ה לתת לעם ישראל את ארץ ישראל, הם גם סילפו את המאבק של המכבים על חופש לשמור את תורה ומצוות, והפכו אותו לתפיסה שאין לה שום קשר לתורה בכלל.
חנוכה: מצעד לפידים
תהלוכות לפידים היו ביטוי לצביון החדש שניתן לחג החנוכה על ידי התנועה הציונית. מלחמתם של יהודה המקבי ואחיו לעצמאות לאומית תאמה את התפיסה הציונית הקוראת לפעילות אקטיבית למען שחרור העם במקום ציפייה לנס. בעוד המסורת היהודית הדגישה את נס פך השמן שהספיק לשמונה ימים, הציבה התנועה הציונית במוקד החג את העצמאות המדינית. ההתקדמות הטבעית של ההיסטוריה הנכתבת מחדש על ידי הציונים כביכול הפכה לבסיס לחופש ביטוי הדת של דמוקרטיה כביכול, למרות שאין שום קשר בין חופש ביטוי הדת ליהדות, פרט למנהגים. אז התנועות הליברליות כביכול של היהדות יצאו לדרכן העיוות באמצעות גניבת אור החנוכה בטענה שהוא מסמל כל מיני דברים שהוא לא מסמל באמת.
אני לא הייתי מתפלא אם בתי ספר חילוניים ובתי ספר של התנועות השמאלניים בארה״ב מלמדים שהיהודים המתבוללים שנהרגו בידי המכביםכמו קורבנות רדיפות הנאצים.
הדתיים הלאומיים (הציונים) הצטרפו לדיון חלקם מתוך כוונה לבקרת נזקים. אחרים האמינו שכל צורה של אחדות עם ישראל היא דבר חיובי, כשהם מבססים זאת על עיוות נוסף של התורה, אהבת חינם, גם אם זה מסכן את הבריאות הרוחנית של ילדיהם. מאז, הם ניסו ללא הרף להתעלם מהכישלון המוחלט הזה.
אפילו הרב אברהם יצחק קוק זצ"ל, אחד מ"אבות הציונות הדתית", כתב על הצורך לשנוא את החילוניות שבתוך היהודי החילוני, לפני שיכולים לאהוב אותו, ואז לקרב אותו לתורה. כמובן, כל דבר שהגיע לגניזה בלי שום סיבה גלויה, רבנים "ציונים" דתיים רבים לא רוצים שמדברים עליו ואפילו לא מודים שדבר כזה קיים בכלל.
מאז ומתמיד, כך נראה, יהודים רבים בישראל מדברים הרבה על החשש למלחמת אחים. האמת היא היינו כבר במצב כזה ולפחות מאז יציאתנו ממצרים.
וְגַם-עֵרֶב רַב, עָלָה אִתָּם, וְצֹאן וּבָקָר, מִקְנֶה כָּבֵד מְאֹד. (שמות יב,לח)
הערב-רב, האלה שלא התגיירו בכוונה הנכונה, התחיל להסית ולמרוד בתורה, עוד לפני שקיבלנו את התורה שבכתב בהר סיני! היום אנחנו ממשיכים במאבק עם צאצאיהם.
אפילו שבסופו של דבר הדמוקרטיה כביכול של ישראל תפול ותתחלף למערכת ממשלתית יהודית, כלומר מבוססת בתורה. בינתיים, מגיעה לנו מערכת שלטונית, שיש בה לפחות דמיון של הגינות.
יש יהודים שמתנגדים לרפורמה שיפוטית, ובכך מגנים על האוליגרכיה (שלטון על ידי המעטים) שהיא בית המשפט העליון של ישראל שגם המנציחה את עצמה באמצעות השתתפות שופטיו ועדת בחירת השופטים. יש יהודים שבעצם רוצים מדיניות גבולות פתוחה לישראל. יש יהודים שרוצים להפחית או להסיר לגמרי את אופי יהודי במדינת ישראל. יש יהודים שלא רוצים להבדיל בין העולם היהודי לעולם המערבי. כל היהודים האלה הביטוי הנוכחי של יהודים המתיוונים בזמן המכבים.
ולא, אני לא מציע שאנו מתיחס אליהם כמו המכבים התיחסו להמתיוונים של פעם. אלא אני כן מציע שנקום, ונזהה את העיוותים של המסורות והחגים שלנו, ונכריז על האמת.
יהודים וישראל אינם חלק מהעולם המערבי וגם לא מהתרבותו. לא כדאי לנו להיות ״חברים״ עם נוצרים ולא עם פרוגרסיבים (אדום / המערב), כמו שלא כדאי לנו להפגיל למען העולם הערבי והמוסלמי (ישמעאל).
עם ישראל נפרד ומובדל, מתנער גם מהערכים היהודי-נוצריים השגויים וגם מהדרך החופשית והפרוגרסיבית של המערב. שניהם פנים של אחיו של יעקב אבינו עשיו (אדום), ולא של יעקב אבינו (ישראל) עצמו.
השאיפה להיות שותפים בחברה גלובלית היא בסתירה להיות עם נפרד ומובדל.
בדיוק כמו היוונים הסלוקיים, הדמוקרטיה היא רעיון הלניסטי. היא לא רעיון יהודי.
חג חנוכה אינו מציין שום ניצחון לחופש ביטוי הדת אלא הניצחון במלחמה למען החופש לשמור את תורה ומצוות, ואת הניצחון נגד ההתבוללות.

:As you would expect, posts and articles about
Hanukkah have been popping up, as it is that time of year. And, as usual, most of the posts neglect the most fundamental aspect of this holiday. I would be remiss, if I did not point out that
Hanukkah is actually the most politically-incorrect holiday Jews celebrate. Its history and significance is also the most distorted and rewritten of all of our holidays. And, as you might have guessed, the culprits behind the revisionist history originate from the assimilated left.
Hanukkah commemorates nothing less than a Jewish civil war. But you would never know this from the presentday excuses for "Jewish education" in the U. S.
Many of today's pieces remind us of the miracle mentioned in the Babylonian Talmud, of oil found in the Temple, enough expected to last one day. Yet, it lasted for eight days.
The Gemara asks: What is Hanukkah, and why are lights kindled on Hanukkah? The Gemara answers: The Sages taught in Megillath Ta’anith: On the twenty-fifth of Kislew, the days of Hanukkah are eight. One may not eulogize on them and one may not fast on them. What is the reason? When the Greeks entered the Sanctuary they defiled all the oils that were in the Sanctuary by touching them. And when the Hashmonai monarchy overcame them and emerged victorious over them, they searched and found only one cruse of oil that was placed with the seal of the High Priest, undisturbed by the Greeks. And there was sufficient oil there to light the menorah for only one day. A miracle occurred and they lit the menorah from it eight days. The next year the Sages instituted those days and made them holidays with recitation of hallel and special thanksgiving in prayer and blessings. (TB Shabbath 21b)
But how were the
Hashmonaim (Maccabees) able to reach the Temple in the first place? Well, they won a war. Which war?
Many of today's posts and articles do point out that
"...the Seleucids (Syrian-Greeks) tried to force the people of Israel to accept Greek culture and beliefs instead of mitzvah observance and belief in G-d."*
But many, if not most, also neglect to specifically mention that the Greeks did not just try to force the People of Israel to accept their culture; they succeeded.
The war the Maccabees won was not just against the Greeks; it was against Jews.
They fought, and killed Jews, those Jews who succumbed to, and who collaborated with, the Greeks.
The High Priest Matityahu ben Yo
hanan was given the "honor" of offering up a sacrifice, one forbidden in any number of ways. He refused. The honor was given to one of these Greek Jews. Matityahu killed him, thus beginning the rebellion.
The most well-known story, also mentioned in the book of 1 Maccabees, as well as in other sources, is the story of the arrival of Antiochus' soldiers in Modi'in and their request for Mattathiyah to offer a sacrifice. Mattathiyah refused and another Jew went up in his place to offer the sacrifice. Mattathiyah, in his anger, killed him while he was offering the sacrifice on the bimah in Modi'in, as stated in 1 Maccabees: "And Mattathiyah was impassioned for the Torah, as Pinhas when he did [what he did] to Zimri the son of Salu (Num. 25:6-13). And Mattathiyah proclaimed in the city with a loud voice, saying: Everyone who is impassioned for [the sake of] the Torah and who stands by the covenant, come out after me." And thus the revolt broke out among the Greeks. (translated from The Story of Hanukkah - The Real Story by Shai Stopek)
Unfortunately, secular "Zionists" took this emphasis on the rebellion, and ran with. Just like they created the term Zionism to replace the Divine Promise of the Land of Israel to the People of Israel, as proclaimed many times in the Torah, they took the fight for freedom to observe Torah and
mitzvoth, and turned it into something which ignores Torah completely.
Hanukkah: Torchlight Parade:
Torchlight parades were an expression of the new character given to the holiday of Hanukkah by the Zionist movement. The fight of Judah Maccabee and his brothers for national independence was in line with the Zionist concept that calls for active operations for the liberation of the people, rather than the expectation of a miracle. While Jewish tradition emphasized the miracle of the jar of oil that lasted for eight days, the Zionist movement placed political independence at the center of the holiday. The natural progression of their revisionist history would become the basis for a democratic freedom of religious expression, in spite of their being nothing of the sort, connected to Judaism, save for the expression of [kosher] customs. The so-called liberal movements of Judaism would then take their own path of distortion by co-opting the light of
Hanukkah, claiming that it represents any number of things that it does not, in order to further their anti-Torah agendas.
As far as those excuses for Jewish education go, by now I would expect them to be portraying the assimilated Jews killed at the hands of the Maccabees, like the victims of Nazi persecution.
Religious Zionists joined the fray, some with the intention of damage control. Others seemed to believe that any form of Jewish unity was a positive thing, basing this on yet another distortion of Torah,
ahavath hinam (unconditional love), even if that meant risking their children's spiritual well-being. Since then, they have continually attempted to cover up this utter failure.
Even Rabbi Avraham Yitzhaq Kook
ztz"l, one of the
"Fathers of Religious Zionism," has written of the need to hate the secularism within the secular Jew, before being able to love him, and bring him closer to Torah. Of course, anything which had mysteriously found its way into the
genizah, many Religious "Zionist" rabbis would not like us to talk about, nor even acknowledge its existence.
Since forever, it seems, many Jews in Israel have been very vocal about their fears of a civil war, which in Hebrew translates as a
"war of brothers." But the truth is that we have already been engaged in a civil war, one which began with our exodus from Egypt.
And a mixed-multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle. (Ex. 12:38)
The mixed-multitude, the
Erev Rav, of false converts, has been inciting and rebelling against the Torah, even before we actually received the Written Torah at Mount Sinai! Today, we continue to struggle with their descendants.
Even though Israel's quasi-democracy must eventually fall, in favor of a Jewish, ie. Torah-based, form of government over the
State Land. In the meantime, let us have a governmental system, which has at least the resemblance of fairness.
Those who oppose judicial reform, and thus protect the self-perpetuating oligarchy that is Israel's Supreme Court, those who essensially want an open-border policy for Israel, those who want to de-Judaize Israel, those who cannot or will not see the difference between Jewish Civilization and Western Civilization, all make up the current side of the poor saps we know as the Hellenist Jews of the past.
And no, I do not suggest that we go all Maccabee on them. I do suggest that we stand up, and call out the distortions of our traditions and holidays, and proclaim the truth.
Jews and Israel are not part of the Western world, nor its culture. We should not be anymore aligned with either Christians or progressives (Edom / The West), any more than we should be aligned with the Arab and Muslim worlds (Ishmael).
The Jewish People is separate and distinct, shunning both the misnamed Judeo-Christian values and the libertine, progressive path of the West. Both are reflections of our forefather Jacob's brother Esau (Edom), and not of Jacob (Israel) himself.
Aspiring to be a part of a global society is the antithesis of our separate and distinct nature.
Just like the Selucid-Greeks, Democracy is Hellenist, not Jewish.
Hanukkah does not mark any victory for freedom of religious observance; it commemorates the victory in war for the sake of Torah observance, and the victory against assimilation.
